0:00 [Music] I believe that there is two types of people here today. Those who believe that God is alive and those who 0:19 don't. It says in 1 Corinthians chapter 15, 1 Corinthians chapter 15. And if you have a Bible, open it up and turn to the verses. 1 0:36 Corinthians chapter 15 verse 16. For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless. you are 0:55 still in your sins. Then those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If we indeed have hope in Christ in this life only, we are of all men to be most pied. And so if we don't believe Christ 1:18 is risen from the dead, he's not watching over anything we're doing. and he does not speak to us. But it doesn't end there. Verse 20 says, "But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep." Jesus is 1:37 alive. He watches over everything. He's watching over us, every one of us right now. And he does speak. And there must be a longing if God speaks. If he's alive and he speaks, there must be a longing in our hearts to 1:55 hear his voice. I want you to turn with me to John chapter 10. John chapter 10 and we're going to read verse 28. John 10 verse 28. and I give eternal 2:16 life to them and they will never perish and no one will snatch them out of my hand. But that verse starts with a and so let's read verse 27. My 2:36 sheep hear my voice and I know them and they follow me. My sheep hear my voice. And so each one of us should be able to be able to hear God's 2:54 voice. He says, "These people who hear my voice, I know them and they follow me." You might remember if you turn with me to Matthew 7. There's other people that Jesus said he didn't know. Turn with me to Matthew chapter 3:17 7. Matthew 7 verse 21. Not everyone who says to me, "Lord, Lord," will enter the kingdom of heaven. But the one who does the will of my father. So only those who do the will of 3:35 God are the ones who are going to enter in. And this is what they'll say. Many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name? In your name cast out demons and in your name perform many miracles. Verse 23. 3:51 And then I will declare to them, I never I never knew you. Depart from me, you who practice lawlessness or sin. So you hear a a group of people who hear God's voice. The sheep, my sheep hear my 4:09 voice and I know them. And then there's another group of people who did many miracles, many other things, living in sin. And God said, "I never knew you." And so I see that it's so important for us who believe that God is 4:26 alive today. He he got up raised from he was raised from the dead on the third day. We all believe that. And if we believe that he said, "My sheep will hear my voice." Many of us, you know, we do many things. 4:47 If we're into sports, we know the scores. If we're into entertainment, we know all the different actors. And usually what we think about most of the time is the things that we fill in our mind. For me, I see that I want to know 5:06 what God's thinking about. And if I cloud my mind with so many other things, the news and all of that, it's nothing wrong with seeing these things, but if that's what I occupy my mind with, when a circumstance in my life comes 5:25 up, most likely I'm going to react just like the things that I've been putting into my mind. If I've been thinking about the news and the politics and all of these things, when circumstances of life come, I'm going to be responding to 5:38 them just like the rest of the world will be. But if I see how the Lord is thinking, what's important to the Lord, when I go through circumstances of life, I'll say, "Lord, what's your will in this area?" And God will give me 5:55 guidance to go through that the way he would. I have a question for you. So this this is a multiple uh many of these can one or more could have the right answer here. Which of these can 6:14 the Bible tell us? Which of these things can the Bible tell us? Where Jesus was born? Will the Bible tell us where Jesus was born? Yes. Very good. If you said yes, you're right. It's Do you know where it says that? Micah 5:2. It says where Jesus 6:33 will be born. Jesus will be born in Bethlehem. Will the Bible tell us how old Jesus was when he started his ministry? Yes, you're right. It does tell us that. It's found in Luke 3 23. It says that when Jesus was about 30 years old, 6:53 he started his ministry. And C, will the Bible tell us when to travel to Rome? No. Actually, I might have to disappoint you. The Bible does tell you when you 7:11 can travel to Rome. At least it did for Paul. Turn with me to Romans. And your reaction was just as much as my reaction when I found out that God's word does guide us in everything that we need to do in 7:30 our life if we know where to find it. And how will we know where to find it? By studying God's word. And that's why it's good as you come into God's into a meeting and you're take you take your Bible and turn to the verses so 7:50 that you can get familiar with God's word. So turn with me to Romans chapter 15 verse 21. So this was a time where Paul was trying to decide he wanted to know God's will. Should I go to Rome or should I 8:07 not go to Rome? And this is the verse he got from the Old Testament to tell him Romans 15 21. But as it is written, they who had no news of him shall see, and they who have 8:25 not heard shall understand. From reading that, can you tell if you should go to Rome or not? Yes. It's hard to tell, but Isaiah 52:15 is where Paul is quoting from. And he's asking, "Lord, should I 8:44 go to Rome or should I not go to Rome?" And this is the verse that the Holy Spirit puts in his heart. They who have had no news of him shall see, and though they who have not heard shall understand. And so 9:03 Paul looked at Rome and he said in Rome there are people already who've heard about Jesus. So they are not these people who have no news told to them. Those are people that somebody else has already gone and told them 9:22 about Jesus. And so that's how God confirmed to him, Paul, this is not the time for you to go to Rome. there's going to be a time you're going to go to Rome, but the time is not now. And the way God was able to speak to 9:38 him was through a verse in Isaiah that he had read and the Holy Spirit brought to him to remembrance that verse. And so he knew whether to go to Rome or not. And each of us as well as we go through God through 9:57 life. Some of you are seeking God's will in marriage. Some of you may be seeking God's will in a job where to live. All these things that you're seeking God's will. One of the ways that God is going 10:12 to reveal it to you is through his word. And when I read this and I said, Lord, how did Paul know the scriptures so well that he could get whether he should go to Rome or not through that verse? And that said, Lord, if you did 10:32 it for Paul where you could show your will through the scriptures, then you can do that for me. You can do that for each one of us. But it starts today. It starts by taking up your Bible today. If you leave it for tomorrow, it's not 10:51 going to happen. When he called Matthew from the tax collector booth, do you know what it says? He left everything immediately. When he went to Peter, James, and John, and and andrew leave the nets, what did they do? 11:09 They left it immediately. Today also when God is telling you take up my word, get familiar with it so that when you come to a fork in the road and need to know which way to go, you'll be able to find a word in scripture that will guide 11:29 you. And so I take that as an encouragement. And I say, Lord, if you did that for Paul, where you took the scriptures and made it come alive to guide him in everyday circumstances of life, you can do that same thing for me. 11:43 And you can do the same thing for my brothers and sisters and young people here. Every single one of us should be able to hear God speak to us through his word and guide us for every circumstance. Not everyone who says, 'Lord, Lord, will 11:57 enter in, but he who does the will of my father. And the way I'll know the will of my father is partially by getting to know his word. This is a question of who am I? I 12:17 want you to be able to look at the clues and guess who this person is. It's a person in the Old Testament and he was ready to sacrifice his life. He was led into God's perfect will in marriage. And when other people took the 12:33 wells that he had dug, he didn't fight with them. Any guesses at who this is? Isaac. It was Isaac. Very good. It was Isaac. When did he when was he about to give his life as a 12:52 sacrifice? Genesis 22. On Mount Mariah, when his father Abraham took him to the mount, he was willing to sacrifice his his life. He was led into God's perfect will in marriage. Who is that? Who did he get married to? 13:11 Rebecca. And then when the who do you know who who was taking his wells away from him? Turn with me to Genesis chapter 26. Genesis chapter 26. Verse 13:37 21 or actually we can read 19. But when Isaac's servants dug, Genesis 26:19, when But when Isaac's servants dug in the valley and found there a well of flowing water, the herdsmen of Girar quarreled with his herdsmen of Isaac, 13:54 saying, "The water is ours." So he named the well because they contended with him. Verse 21, they dug another well. There they quarreled over it, too. He named it again. Verse 22, he moved away from there. You see that he never fought 14:09 with them and dug another well and they did not quarrel over it. So he named the named it Rehobit for he said at last the Lord has made room for us and we will be fruitful in the 14:26 land. And when I sought to come here to be a part of the church here, this was a verse that I thought about. Lord, am I coming here or Lord, have you gone and made room for me here so that I could be fruitful? There's two ways to come to a 14:45 place. One, we go to a place and start digging. Or there's another place where it's a place where God has made room for us. And in the place where God has called us and he's made room for us, we will be fruitful. And so a wonderful testimony 15:03 of this man's life. Found God's will in marriage. He also, it says that he was meditating as he was waiting for Rebecca to come. Rebecca could not bear children. Guess who prayed for Rebecca so that she could have children? Isaac did. Did God 15:21 hear his prayer? Yes. God heard his prayer. Wonderful testimony of a man. But if you turn with me to Genesis 26 27, one of the things of the last days, Jesus said 15:40 was, "Be careful that no one mislead you. Do not be deceived." And that's one of the things that Jesus said to be prepared for. Be prepared 15:56 that you are not deceived in these last days. Like he sent Delight uh he sent John the Baptist to prepare the people for his first coming. He's sent the church to prepare 16:12 people for his second coming. And so here you see this man, a godly man. It says in actually it says here in in uh Genesis 26 28 they said we 16:29 plainly we see plainly that the Lord has been with you. That was the testimony that Isaac had that God was with them. But it says here that uh in in in Genesis chapter 27, now it came about when Isaac was old and his eyes were too 16:49 dim to see that he called his older son, Esau, and said to him, "My son, and he said to him, here I am." Verse two, Isaac said to said, "Behold, now I am old and I do not know the day of my death." Verse three. Now then, please 17:06 take your gear and your quiver and your bow and go out to the field and hunt game for me. Verse four. And prepare a savory dish for me such as I love and bring it to me that I may eat so that my soul may bless you before I die. 17:26 So you remember this man, man of God who was really willing willing to sacrifice his life, found God's will in marriage, knew where God had planted him, all these things, wonderful things. How many senses do we have? Five senses. Very good. The sense of 17:46 sight, smell, taste, hearing, and touch. And so a person, we all have senses and we all try to live by our senses, right? And you see this man, a godly man who's been seeking to fulfill 18:06 God's plan for his life. He sees uh he he tells, "I'm going to bless Esau." And then it says here, if you go down to verse 13 or verse 14, actually let's go to verse 11. Verse 18:27 11, Genesis 27:1. Jacob answered his mother Rebecca, "Behold, Esau, my brother, is a hairy man, and I'm a smooth man." Verse 12. Perhaps my father will feel me and then I will be as a deceiver in his sight and I will bring 18:44 upon myself a curse and not a blessing. Verse 13. But his mother said to him, "Your curse be on me, my son. Only obey my voice and go get them for me." She asked him to go and get two young lambs. Again, just in passing. But Rebecca, 19:03 what did she say? Let the curse be upon me. Sometimes people say things very carelessly. And one of the things she said here, "Let that curse be upon me." And I don't know, it doesn't say for sure, but I don't know if this was 19:22 the last time Jacob actually saw his mother. And it's something I I I take note to that saying, you know, Lord, let my words not be careless. And and this was a thing that I see a carelessness in the way she said, oh yeah, let that curse be upon 19:41 me. And verse 14, so he went and got the two lambs, brought them to his mother, and his mother's made a savory food such as his father loved. Verse 15. Then Rebecca took the best garments of Esau, her elder son, with her in his house, and put them 20:00 on Jacob, her younger son. Verse 16. And she put the skins of the young goats on his hands, and on the smooth part of his neck. She also gave him the savory food and the bread which she had made to her son, Jacob. And I'm going to ask you a 20:16 question. How old do you think Jacob was at this time when his mom was putting on this fur and all of that? Okay, I'm going to give you two three options. A young boy. How many of you think he was a young boy? Okay. One of the Okay. The second 20:36 one. A young man. Okay. Three, an elderly man. Okay. He was about 77 years old when this happened. Did that surprise 20:55 you? He was about 77 years old when this happened. Isaac was married about 97 years by now. Nearly 100 years of marriage at this time. Remember the five things, the five senses that we have, right? The first sense was our his sense 21:14 of sight. Could he see anymore? No. It was dim. And usually when you have dim eyesight, guess what happens to your other senses? They get stronger. Very good. It gets very strong. Your ears and all of that gets stronger. And remember Jesus 21:30 said in the last days, many will get deceived. And you see that what what is Jacob going to try to do? Deceive his father. A godly man who's walked with God for many years. His son is trying to deceive him. Already they're twins. So 21:48 they most likely look alike and so even a little sight that he might have had he probably couldn't have seen. Right? The first sens sense. The second one verse 18 then he came to his father and said my father and he said here I am who are 22:02 you my son? Verse 19 Jacob said to his father I am Esau your firstborn. Now he's heard his son for now 77 years or so. both his sons. I am Issa your firstborn. I have done this as you told me. Get up, 22:20 please. Sit up and eat my game and you bless me. Verse 20. Isaac said to his son, "How is it that you have has h have it so quickly, my son?" And he said, "Because the Lord your God curs caused it to happen to me." Was that a true 22:38 statement? No. It was a lie. He was deceiving his dad by saying, "The Lord brought it so quickly and that's why I got it." And Jesus said, "In the last days, many are going to come in my name and mislead many." They're going to come in the name 22:57 of the Lord and mislead many. And you see this, he's hearing something and he said, "Oh, it's of the Lord." Okay, if he says it's of the Lord, it must be true. And then it says in verse 21, then 23:15 Isaac said to Jacob, "Please come close that I might feel you." Which sense is this? The sense of touch, whether you are really my son, Esau, or not. Verse 22. So Jacob came close to Isaac, his father, and he felt him. Now he feels 23:34 him. The voice is the voice of Jacob, but the hands are the hands of Esau. Verse 23, he did not recognize him. So his eyes, ears, touch because his because his hands were 23:53 hairy like his brothers, Esau. So he blessed him. Verse 24. And he said, "Are you really my son, Esau?" And he said, "I am." Again another lie. But isaac able to tell the difference? No. Verse 25. So you said bring it to me 24:13 and I will eat my son's game and then I'll may bless bless you. And he brought to it to him and he ate and he also brought to him the wine and drank. What's this sense? The sense of taste. How many years has he been eating 24:30 his wife's cooking? about 97 years. He couldn't tell the difference between his wife's cooking and Esau's cooking. Then his father Isaac said to him, "Please come close. Kiss me my son." Verse 27. So he had come close, 24:48 kissed him, and we smelled. What's this sense? And the smell of his garments, he blessed him and said, and then he went on and blessed him. Do you see how this man Jacob his son deceived him? All the senses. He had all the 25:05 senses deceived completely. He was so convinced in his mind that this was Esau when it was completely wrong. And when Jesus says in the last days it's going to be like this where many are going to come and deceive and even the elect, Matthew 25:23 24:24, even the elect will be could be deceived. It's going to be that strong of a deception. I say, Lord, I'm not going to fool myself to saying this man was a godly man, but towards the end of his life was completely 25:42 deceived. Why do you think this man was deceived? Why do you think Isaac after all these years of walking with the Lord was deceived in the end? I think the things of this world became very very good to him. It says of if you turn 25:59 with me you you guys you remember Sodom and Gomorrah. When you think of Sodom and Gomorrah you think of a wicked wicked wicked land right? Do you know how it started? If you turn with me to Ezekiel chapter 16 it didn't start off with all those 26:14 wicked things. Verse 49. Ezekiel 16:49. Behold, this is the guilt of your sister Sodom. She and her daughters had arrogance, abundance of food, and careless 26:31 ease. But she did not help the poor and needy. Arrogance, abundant food, and careless ease. And I think Isaac had this time of ease. got to 26:47 know the food that his son cooked that the things of this world, the tastes of this world, the sights of this world that occupied him so that when time came where he had to be discerning, he was completely deceived. 27:05 Now on the other hand, the same one Jacob also, if you turn with me to Genesis 48, because he wrestled with God, he sought to know God till the end. When he had to bless two men, two two young people, Joseph's sons, what 27:23 did he do? Turn with me to Genesis 48, verse 17. Genesis 48:17. Then when Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand on Ephereim's head, it displeased him, and 27:42 he grasped his father's hand to remove it from Ephraim's hand to Manass's head. Verse 18, Joseph said to his father, "Not so, my father, for this is the firstborn. Place your right hand on his head." Verse 19. Could Jacob be dis 28:01 deceived? No. But his father refused and said, "I know, my son. I know." He had also lost his eyesight because he was old. But he did not lose his spiritual discernment because he was walking with God. He wrestled with God. He was alone 28:19 with God. It's not by our senses and all of that that we're going to escape deception. It's going to be the ones who walk with God, who know his voice. It goes on in John chapter 10, "My sheep know my voice and they do not know the voice of 28:39 a a stranger." They don't know the voices of strangers. How are we going to know the voice of God and the voice of strangers in these last days? Because we hear God's voice. We're his sheep. We hear his voice and we're familiar with 28:54 it. Do you know William Tinddale? William Tinddale wanted every person to be able to read their Bibles. Today you all have your Bibles in your 29:12 hand. Back then in the 1400s, they didn't have a Bible in their hand. They had the Bible translated in Latin. Only a few people could understand it. So if you had to know what God's will was or what God's word said, you had to 29:28 go to the church and hear from them and whatever they said, you have to believe it. But William Tinddale said, "No, I'm going to go and translate it into English so that all the people in England can understand it. Whoever 29:43 understood English should be able to understand the Bible." And so he started translating it, but then they started persecuting it because the church did not want him to give his Bible to everybody. And so he escaped and went to Germany. And every place 29:59 that he went, they started trying to get him. But then he would have to move. And he kept on moving. And then they would print the Bibles. And they only had like the New Testament translated. And so they would smuggle the Bibles into England. And it was 30:18 interesting. They put it in barrels. They'll have wheat and other things in it. And then underneath it, they'll have the New Testament Bibles so that they could get it across into England. And some people, they would stitch the 30:29 Bibles into their garments so that as they're going in there, they'll go it and then they'll take it out. And so so many difficulties, they were able to get the Bible to some people. And I think if I was living in that time and I wanted to get a Bible, 30:45 it would have been a tremendous privilege to be able to get a Bible. And I would be longing. I was like, hopefully somebody would get me a Bible because I really want to know what God's word says. Are we living in times like that 30:59 today? No. We all have Bibles everywhere. Plenty of Bibles everywhere. Do you think we have the longing they did? No, but they would have it would have been a treasure if they got a hold of a Bible and if they had only the New 31:16 Testament, they would read only the New Testament and that they would treasure it, read it and say, "Lord, what does your word say?" And they hired a person, his name was Henry Phillips to become a friend of William 31:32 Tinddale and betray him. And so William so Henry Phillips went and tried to make pretend that he was a friend of William Tinddale. And one day he said, "Hey, let's go for a walk." And as they were going for a walk, they went through this 31:46 narrow alley and on the other side they were waiting for him to capture him. So they captured him. They put him in a jail in Belgium and he was there for about a year. And then they took him to the stake, a long pole, put him there, 32:03 strangled him, and uh he was burnt at the stake. One of the last words that they said that he said was, "Open the eyes of the king of England." At that time, the king of England was King Henry 32:19 VI. And about two years after he prayed that prayer, guess what happened? that very king allowed the Bible to be printed in English. But I think if I was living in those days, it would have been a tremendous privilege to get a hold of of 32:36 a Bible to be able to read it. And I say that for each one of us that we have a Bible in our hands. Let's see how precious to if we had to go and talk with William Tinddale and he saw how we were treating the Bible that he took such pains to 32:55 translate and hide and run and gave his life for. I consider for myself what would I say to him? Have I treated the word of God as precious as he took the time and gave his life for? I say, Lord, I want to take your 33:14 word seriously. I want to value your word. And the way we can do that is as we take our Bibles, take your Bible, underline it, get to be familiar with it. As you hear a word spoken and if you don't know where it is, go and turn to it so that 33:32 you can get familiar. So when the days come when you have to make a decision, there's a fork in the road, God will take a word and give it to you. There's a thing that the Samaritans 33:49 said after they heard Jesus. They first heard it from the Samaritan woman and they said this in John chapter 4 verse 42. Yes, we heard from you about Jesus but we don't longer believe because you said it. We heard for 34:08 ourselves and we believe. We heard for ourselves and each of you I believe here on a Sunday Wednesday you hear but that's secondhand that's you hear from somebody else what's missing for 34:27 you have to hear for yourself. And so I had some we had some house finches in our house a while ago and uh they built a nest over there and uh it was it was nice. They they built 34:44 uh their nest and the chicks hatched. Do you know how long the chicks stay in that nest? About 12 to 19 days is all they get in the in the nest. After that, the the mother and father birds, they start 35:01 poking at it and trying to push it out. And there was something that I learned from those little house finches. Those house finches knew for the first n 12 to 19 days, they would go get the food, get it, and put 35:19 it in the chick's mouth. They would go find the food, make it small enough for the babies to eat, and then give it to them. But after 12 to 19 days, they realized we can't do this. What should the chicks need to know? They need to know how to get their 35:37 food for themselves. And so that's what the chick those those chicks did. They said, "You need to go and get the food for yourself." And this morning also, each one of us needs to know how to find our food for ourselves. It's 35:54 good. It's very very good to hear God's word preached on a Sunday or a Wednesday or anytime we hear it. But it's more important as time goes on like those house finches taught their chicks to learn how to get to read God's 36:12 word to know it for yourself. It's very important. That's the way you're going to know the voice of your shepherd and the voice of strangers. And you're going to be able to say, "That's the voice of a stranger. That's not my 36:30 shepherd." We have the privilege of if we miss a message, we can go back and look at the video. But back in the day, you had radios and you had a radio broadcast. Usually, it might be once a week that you have a radio broadcast. 36:45 And if it was at 5 in the morning, you had to be there at 5 in the morning. You have to get your tuner all tuned up. And if it was not tuned up right, and then you missed it, and it's a 10-minute message. Guess what? You missed it. You can't go and 37:00 get the recording. Everything's gone. You have to wait for the next week to get the next 10 minutes. And so, one of those things, when I was in college, I used to get up in the morning and there used to be this broadcast in the morning. They'd sing a 37:15 couple of songs and then they'd have a small verse or something like that and I'd look forward to it. I'd get up and I'd get the radio out and listen listen to it and if I missed it I'd feel so bad because I had no chance of getting it 37:29 back. And brother Zach has done a verse by verse, you might know that, verse by verse study of the entire New Testament and portions of the Old Testament. And portions of that was done as a radio broadcast. It was a 10-minute 37:48 message every week. And every week you'd have to go at that particular time when that message was going to be broadcast. And if you didn't catch it, you lost it. you'd have to wait for the next week. And then they're they're 38:03 probably waiting, eagerly waiting with their Bibles. Okay, what is God going to speak to me? And it was only once a week, so it was only 10 minutes. And I could imagine, you know, seeking to hear what God's going to say to me. And the 38:20 eagerness. Do you know how long it took Brother Zach to produce the verse by verse? two years, 5 years, 10 years, 15. It took him 30 years to prepare the verse by verse. Today, we can get it in 38:40 the app. We can go back, forward, all of that. And so, I want to say something that I've encouraged my own self with. It's only 10 minutes or each of those broadcasts. Now he's combined them. But I want to encourage each one 38:57 of us. If I was living in the time of Whittley and Timale, I would have valued so much the Bible. If I was living in about 40 years ago when those were produced, 30, 40 years ago when those were produced, I would have been eagerly 39:11 waiting with my Bible for every radio broadcast that so that it's so easy for us to take a hold of it and go and get it anytime from our apps. I see that there's a lack of valuing these wonderful things that people in past 39:28 generations have valued. And so my encouragement to each one of us is take that for you who are new believers and you're like those those uh baby finches still in the nest. I don't understand how to get my food for myself. Go take verse by verse 10 39:48 minutes either the book of Mark or book of John and go through it 10 minutes. have your Bible and listen to it and follow along. And as time goes on, you'll also be able to Lord to teach me to be able to hear your voice. I want to hear your 40:07 voice for myself. So I want to encourage every single one of you. And I hope you'll do what the disciples did. Soon as Jesus told them, they immediately left their nets. They left their immediately did it. And as we close, I just wanted to 40:26 mention this verse here in Luke chapter 24. If we don't want to be deceived in these last days, if we want to be able to discern God's will in these last days, it's very important that we come and ask the Lord, 40:44 Lord, do what you did for the disciples. Luke 24:45. Luke 24:45. Then he opened their minds to understand the scriptures. He opened their minds to understand the scriptures. So when I go 41:02 to God's word, I say, "Lord, unless you open up my mind to understand the scriptures, I'm going to read it and I'm not going to get anything out of it. Holy Spirit, who wrote these scriptures, please come and explain the scriptures 41:16 to me. I want to understand what your voice sounds like. Please reveal it to me." No matter how much we read this word, without God opening our eyes, we won't be able to understand it. And so, young people, especially if you're a 41:30 newborn Christian, seek to ask the Lord, please, Holy Spirit, speak to me. Open up the scriptures. Let me behold wonderful things in your word. Let your word be like honey. Give me direction in the decisions of life. Help 41:48 me never to be deceived, Lord. I want to be able to hear your voice, my shepherd, so that I go, I stay away from all those who are strangers. It's going to be very important in these last days to be able to hear the voice of our 42:04 shepherd that he knows us and that we follow him. May the Lord help us. Amen. Let us pray. Heavenly Father, I pray for each one here. Lord, I pray Lord that each one of us will have this tremendous privilege, Lord. You are not 42:21 in the grave. You're alive today, Lord, and you speak. I pray that each one of us would be your sheep, that we would hear your voice. And I pray, Lord, that we would be known of you and follow you. I pray for each one.
