Our heavenly father, we praise and thank you for this opportunity you've given us so that we can come and gather together and sit at your feet and hear you speak to us. Lord, we thank you for all the 0:25 opportunities you've given us. And thank you for your word which is [clears throat] so living and powerful. And thank you that you've given us strength for each day. All the strength that we need. Lord, we we know that you're present in our midst today and 0:42 you've got a word for each one of us. We thank you Lord. We praise you and bless you in Jesus precious name. Amen. Dear sisters, it's so good that we can um gather together and be 1:02 present uh realize that the Lord is present in our midst and he's with us because he said where two or three are gathered in my name there I am in the midst of you. And we thank you. We thank the Lord that for us sisters also 1:17 there's opportunity when we can gather together. There are so many countries in the world where they forbidden meeting together. Even in houses they have to meet secretly or they have to come in one by one and they have to sing very 1:35 not allowed to speak loud or sing loud. There are so many restrictions even now in other countries. We praise and thank God for giving us freedom where we are and we can sit and listen to God's word and be blessed by God's word. 1:54 If you'd like to turn with me to um Matthew chapter 5 verse 5 Matthew 5:5 we've been meditating on the biatitudes the sermon on the mount mount and today 2:13 I thought of this verse blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth and you know every time I read these words and I meditate on it and I prepare like a meeting like this. The Lord 2:30 speaks to me so powerfully and I sense my own need. I say Lord what's the meaning of the word meek? My idea of meekness is different. What's your u what do you want to show me about the 2:47 real meekness that you want to h want me to have? Because in 2 Corinthians chapter 10:1 there's this phrase the meekness of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:1. The meekness of Christ is different from the meekness which we which I thought I 3:07 have. Cuz in my college days, I remember I used to admire some uh some of my seniors who appeared so meek and quiet and so graceful and they talk very gently and I thought that's the idea of meekness. That's the meekness. And I 3:24 used to admire them. And after I got closer and closer to them, I realized sometimes it was the opposite what what I saw in them. There'd be so much of anger, so much of frustration, things which were covered up by that false 3:41 meekness which they had. Then I realized the true meekness that the Lord wants us to have is very different from our idea of meekness. Um first of all that verse blessed in the past Bible studies we've heard about the sermon on the mount the word blessed 4:01 I looked up in the amplified Bible for the be meaning of the word blessed and I got these precious words blessed means happy joyous spiritually prosperous 4:19 with life prosperous with life, joy and satisfaction in God's favor and salvation regardless of their outward circumstances. That means whatever our outward circumstances are, whatever we are facing in our daily 4:38 life, there's a true happiness and joy in our life and satisfaction with God's favor. And that's the meaning of the word blessed. Then I thought of the word meekness. I was just telling you about the false 4:56 meekness which we think people have. Um that also I got from a biblical u in my Bible study. Meekness means a person who's mild and patient, long-suffering, one who does not dominate others, is not 5:15 aggressive, is gentle, soft, tender, submissive, quiet, soothing, subdued, offers no resistance, and self-mping. 5:32 I'll I'll read that again. Mild Patient, long-suffering, one who does not dominate others. Not aggressive, gentle, 5:51 soft, tender, submissive, quiet, soothing, subdued. offers no resistance, self-mping. Then I thought when I read that I 6:09 thought, "Oh Lord, I am in so much of need." And then I realized it's not an external quality that I'm trying to imitate, trying to speak softly and mild and patient, outwardly um appearing 6:27 long-suffering and gentle, all those things. is not my own self. It's something the Lord it's a virtue which the Lord has to work in my heart and produce in my heart. It's something which only the Lord Jesus can give. Because you know we all know that verse 6:46 Matthew 11:29 where Jesus says come unto me all you who are who labor and are heavy laden. Learn from me for I meek and lowly. And the prophecy about Jesus in Zechariah 9:9 it says, "Behold, your 7:03 king comes meek and lowly riding on a donkey. Kings come riding on horses with grandeur and pompous and so much of sure show and people going ahead of them and and uh heralding them. But our king, our 7:22 Lord Jesus comes to this earth lowly throughout his life from the time of his birth and throughout his life. It it was always a humble and meek spirit that he showed and he wants to give that to us how different it is from the world's 7:40 idea of greatness. And that's our example. And and Jesus said learn of me. He doesn't say come I'll teach you. He said just watch my life. When you come to me and you spend time with me you'll 7:59 learn from me. That what is the true meekness and that quality which we want us the lord wants to give us. He said blessed are the meek. If we have that meekness we are truly blessed. And what's the reward? First of all, we are 8:17 blessed. But he says, if you're meek, you'll inherit the earth. My, what a tremendous, tremendous blessing the Lord has to give us. When I think of that, I say, Lord, you know, in Psalm 144:3, it 8:34 says, "Oh Lord, what is man? What am I a woman that you even notice me? Why bother at all with the human race? For man is but a breath. His days are like a passing shadow. Lord, for a human 8:51 being like me, you said that you have an inheritance. An inheritance is something that parents or some guardian somebody loving leave leaves for his children. And the Lord wants to give us this inheritance. We 9:08 say Lord who am I? Salvation itself is so big that I'm saved from the clutches of Satan and living in darkness and you brought me to the kingdom of light and you give me salvation so I have eternity 9:25 secure in eternity I can be with you that itself is big enough for me is so great that I can be called your child but to say that you're giving me an inheritance and I'm going to inherit inherit the earth is too vast for me to 9:44 understand and I'm so humbled Lord I don't understand what it means but I know one day we will understand one day the Lord will show us and say look all this is what I'm giving you this is your inheritance which I have kept for you 10:01 now you don't you didn't understand when you were living on earth you didn't know what it meant but now you can see this is the inheritance I have for you because when the Lord Jesus comes to earth as the king of this whole earth 10:16 and all the kingdoms will be under him and everybody will bow down to him. Every king, every ruler, every great person great or small will bow down to him. He says every knee will bow and and then the lord says all this is now 10:34 belongs to me to the lord and he says I've given you an inherit inheritance and that inheritance is for those who are meek. We can't take that meekness light lightly. Then we have to take every opportunity to learn and to 10:52 receive and [clears throat] learn of him the true meekness which he want is not the artificial meekness which the world gives which the world thinks oh it's a great thing to be meek like that. the true meekness which is 11:06 hidden from this world but the Lord gives it to us secretly and one day we inherit what he has kept in store for us. I was just thinking when Jesus comes to this is my idea when Jesus comes to um rule the whole earth it'll be a 11:25 kingdom with a different standard all he because he is a his rule and the way he rules is with meekness and justice. He's not going to dominate others and put fear into the hearts of others. It's a different type of rule. 11:44 And those who have learned meekness on this earth, such people he'll entrust. He said, "Now you have learned, you learned meekness while you were on earth. Now you are fit to share in this kingdom, to take part in this kingdom, 12:00 to do some service in that kingdom because you learned meekness on earth. So I praise and thank God for the opportunities he given us on earth to learn meekness through the school which he puts us through. It's a very valuable school where the 12:20 Lord has put us. He puts us through circumstances through crushing experiences through sickness sometimes. Sometimes he exalts us. Sometimes he puts us down. Sometimes he provides our needs and makes us rich. Sometimes we go through poverty and 12:38 learn. All those are lessons are the lord allowing us to learn meekness in our lives. He puts us in families. He puts us in church where we we can either be dominant and dominate others or we can learn the meekness of Christ and 12:56 live as his followers. those who have learned through meekness. So I praise and thank God for that meekness which the Lord wants to give us as an inheritance. We don't deserve it. Many children they don't deserve the inheritance the 13:14 parents have left for them. The parents sacrificed and saved throughout their lives something uh worthwhile to give for their children. And that's how the Lord on his earth when he came on earth he sacrificed so much so that we can 13:31 have an inheritance for all eternity. Now praise God for that inheritance he has kept we have not yet realized in the gospels we read we don't know yet the riches which the Lord has kept in glory for us. We have not tasted it but one 13:48 day the Lord is going to show us all the riches. My child, this is all for you because you took part in in on this earth and you took part in meekness. You underwent you all that not only submitted but you rejoiced 14:08 in going through all the experience which I gave you. So I praise and thank God. I thank God the Lord has opened our eyes to these truths in these last last days. We we those of us who are attending the CFC meetings, we know the difference 14:27 between the old covenant and the new covenant. Moses came to give the old covenant lot of laws and instructions for our external life especially for the children of Israel. how to live a good life externally and the reward was that 14:45 the Lord would bless them externally, prosper them, def them from the enemies. But the new covenant is inward. The work is inward. We take part in the inward working of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We submit 15:03 to that and then the fruit is shown in comes from within. Meekness is within. It's not like we act a person who talks meekly and softly. No from within from that life that fountain of life there's 15:21 meekness coming out in our daily life. And another thing I want to say is this meeknesses quality of meekness especially important for us women. Because we read in 1 Peter 3:4 that if we turn to that that we know 15:39 those verse it's very valuable because a meek and quiet spirit the Lord says women should have a meek and quiet spirit which is of great value which is pleasing to him is a hidden beauty of meek and quiet spirit. It's an 15:56 adornment. Like people put on jewelry as an abon adornment. A true adornment is a meek and quiet spirit which is imperishable. All the earthly adornment perishable. It'll last for a little while and it'll tarnish or it can 16:15 be stolen or we can lose it. But this imperishable beauty adornment of a meek and quietest quiet spirit will never be taken from us. So in our homes, in our in our church, in the place of work, wherever we are, that meek and quiet 16:34 spirit, the Lord wants us and he'll give it to us. As I said, it's not something that artificial which we have to work. The Holy Spirit, we allow the Holy Spirit to work in us and submit to him. the working of the Holy Spirit. Little 16:50 by little, the Lord will produce that meekness in us. That meek and quiet spirit which he values which he looks for for all of us women. That's why the meek and quiet spirit is so important for us is the opposite of 17:06 what is in our genes. like we inherited from Eve Eve uh obstinate nature like the devil could come to Eve and say then you won't die the Lord God didn't say that you'll die and he put doubt in 17:25 Eve's mind and she fell to the devil's trap trap but that obstinate nature didn't want to consult God didn't want to consult her husband Adam was in Eve and we inherited that. But the Lord Jesus wants to change that and put his 17:44 through his holy spirit put that meekness in us that we don't want to do our own will. We don't want to be obstinate. We don't want to be stubborn and do things our way. We say Lord let your will be done. Like Mary said, I am 17:59 your handmaiden. Let your will be done in my life. Let it be according to what you say, Lord. And the Lord changes us through the power of the Holy Spirit. little by little. It's not a sudden change but and it won't happen overnight 18:14 but daily as we submit to the Lord, the Holy Spirit's work, the Lord changes us. I thought of two um um examples in the Bible. I mean there are a lot of examples but I thought of uh two people whom if time permits we can 18:34 meditate on. One was a is Abraham as an example of meekness. He was just a nobody but the Lord saw something in him and the Lord picked him up and called him leave your country. Leave Ur of the Cales and I'll take you to another 18:51 place. He just submitted and he said he didn't know where God was taking him. Sarah his wife asked where are we going? We're packing up and going where are we going? And Abraham said I really don't know. the Lord will lead us day by day. 19:07 And he left. And a a man who was so strong and who had all the wealth, he simply obeyed. And that is a sign of his meekness. And then when he came uh as he traveled 19:24 along, he took his nebulot with him. And um Lot's workers and Abraham's workers were always having quarrels with one another. And so then Lot decide Abraham decided we have to come to the parting of our 19:42 ways. So he called Lot and said we don't we don't want to live in this life of fighting our people fighting with each other. Let's divide part our ways. You choose. Choose whatever you want and I'll take what is left behind. 20:01 He gave a lot the first choice. And Lot chose looked up and saw the watered Jordan valley and he said, "I'll take that. It's all green and prosperous. I'll take that." He and Abraham said, "Sure, you can have that." And God saw 20:18 that meekness in Abraham. Though he is the older person, he he allowed his nephew to take the first choice. And God told Abraham, I I watched what you did. Look out and see all the land which you see, north, south, east, and west. I'll 20:38 give it to you. We read that in Genesis 13:es 8 to 14. He says, "All this land will belong to you and your descendants." And one of from him came the descendant the messiah Jesus. He 20:54 lived in that land and even now that land is the promised land for his Abraham's descendants. Then another quality of weakness which we see in Abraham was when the angels came and told Abraham 21:13 uh we're going to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. the place where Lot was living and Abraham interceded Lord please can you spare even if you see a few people can you spare that can you spare that he he need not have done that he could have 21:30 thought oh well I am okay god has given me this land and he has spared me but he was interceding there also we see the meekness of Abraham and then the five one more example is when the lord when god told Abraham You love your son so 21:47 much, Isaac. He's the one, the promised son I gave you, but he's an idol in your life. Now, I want you to take him 3 days journey to this mountain where I show you and you have to sacrifice him. Uh, and he said, "Sure, Lord, I'll do that." 22:06 And we know what the rest of the story how the Lord saw. He said, "You're you're not you with not a we didn't even withhold your son, your only son. You willing to sacrifice him for me. So because of that, I'll bless you. I'll 22:23 bless you." He kept pouring his blessings on Abraham. That's the blessing the Lord wants to give us. When he sees uh meekness in us, willing to give in, not wanting to have our way, not wanting to argue and [clears throat] 22:42 insist on our way and doing things the way we want, wanting to have the last word in everything. when he sees submission to him to the lord and submission meekly to whatever the lord in our lives he say he sees that and he 23:00 like he did to Abraham he'll say I'll bless you I'll bless you I'll bless you I'll give you an inheritance you you haven't even you have no idea what that inheritance is really when I was meditating on that verse the meek shall 23:16 inherit the earth I was thinking Okay. What is the inheritance? What can I share? What is the inheritance which the Lord wants to give us? And I can only say that's a secret. The Lord will reveal it to us one day and he'll tell 23:30 us because you are meek because you gave in and as a woman, you obeyed me and you had that meek and quiet. Here are all the riches which I'm giving you which I saved up for you. It's been a surprise. It's a surprise. But one day with the 23:46 Lord will bless us if we are true and faithful to him. And the second example I thought of was Moses. It says Moses about Moses that um um he was the meakest man on the face of the earth. We read that in the numbers 24:06 12 verse 13. Moses was the meakest man on the face of the earth. And Moses was not born that way. We know the story of Moses, how he was almost killed as a baby, but his mom and his sisters preserved him and put him in a basket. 24:23 And how Pharaoh's daughter picked him up and brought him up in the palace and there he was not brought up as a Hebrew slave. His ances his relatives were all Hebrew slaves. But he was brought up like a prince with all the riches, all 24:40 the education, all the smartness. He uh in acts uh 7:22 Stephen says about him that he was an auditor. He was smart in his words. He could speak so powerfully. He was a powerful speaker and he had all 24:57 the education engineering and everything. All the knowledge of Egyptians he had it and he was brought up like that. And how did he become the meakest man when God wanted him? God didn't want all that education of Egypt. He wanted a man who 25:17 was meek to to lead his people. So at the age of 40 when he made a mistake and killed an Egyptian, he had to flee for for his life and he went to the land of Midian and there he lived with his father-in-law taking care of his 25:35 father-in-law's sheep. There for 40 years looking after sheep. these gentle quiet creatures who just follow the shepherd and trust the shepherd and eat what is available to them and just don't 25:53 fight with each other. He saw the sheep and he learned quietness from them. He could there was nobody he could speak to except when he came home he could speak to his wife and father-in-law but all day with these animals we couldn't even speak he almost 26:11 lost his power of speech when God called him and said Moses I want you to go to Egypt and bring out my people from slavery he said Lord I can't speak it was not telling a lie he was not telling a lie he almost lost the ability to speak. The 26:31 man who was so powerful in speech, he lost every he stopped. Uh he gave up all that and the Lord did such a mighty work in him that he was u he could be considered the meakest man on earth. And 26:49 and God told him in Exodus 7:1, he told Moses, "I have made you to be like God to Pharaoh." I've given you so much authority. This meek man, he God said, "Now you're ready, Moses. You'll be like 27:06 God. You'll represent me to Pharaoh. Whatever you speak, it'll be my words which you're going to speak to Pharaoh." Imagine how much God emptied Moses of all that dominant spirit, all the Egyptian skills and made him a godly man 27:25 with the true nature of God and said, "Now you can be my spokesman. You can speak for me. Whatever you speak, it will happen." And he sent him to more to to Pharaoh. And that's how the Lord makes us. We are 27:42 so strong in our own view views with all our education and knowledge and and nowadays women have so many rights and we say like I have this, I can do this, I have um uh everything in my power and 27:59 I can do this but then the Lord says no you put away your human weakness, your human uh ability and learnness from me and then the Lord can uses in numbers it says uh numbers 30 uh 123 it says he was 28:18 the meakest man on the face of the earth and so the lord used Moses to lead the people to uh to judge them if they had any conflict he judged them he wrote down 28:35 God gave him the laws um and he judged them and he wrote down the first five books of the Bible. He God used him to build the tabernacle and he he gave him the grace to pull up put up with the rebellion in the children of 28:54 Israel. For example, one example I can say, think of the time when mo Miriam and um Aaron came and complained to Moses about his wife, the wife that Moses had chosen. Imagine Miriam. I I'm not surprised because 29:14 Miriam was his older sister and she had taken care of Moses as a baby. So she thought she has an she has a right to complain about this Kushite woman whom Moses had married. But the Lord judged 29:30 Miriam. Miriam, you forgot your place. You're a woman. I have appointed Moses as the leader. Who are you to speak to him like that? Didn't you see Moses whenever he came from the mountain after he met with me and I spoke to him face 29:49 to face his face was glowing and shining. Didn't you see that that I had I have appoint I had appointed him and you had the guts to complain about him whom he chooses to marry. That's between 30:07 him and me between him and God. Dear sisters, sometimes we have complaints. I can see many in many families, many relatives are upset with the wife their brother has chosen or the wife that uh the husband that uh the wife girl has 30:26 chosen and we think that it's our right to pass opinion about that. No, we that's none of our business whom God has chosen. If as long as they have considering somebody, we can say no, that's not the person for you. She's not a believer. 30:45 She's like this, she's like that. But after they are married, it's none of our business to complain about them or to find fault with them. We can pray for them and we can make life easier for them. Don't make life difficult for 30:59 going on finding fault with them and saying she's like that she's you know when we go to her house she doesn't even keep give us a cup of water she's illiterate she's c not cultured no is none of our business and that's what we can learn from uh Miriam 31:18 and God judged Miriam seely before the sons of Kora they complained about Moses and God was very harsh. The earth swallowed them up. They died. But for Miriam, God was merciful. He just gave 31:35 her leprosy and she had to be isolated for some time. And Moses and Aaron prayed for them. Now, Aaron also joined Miriam in complaining. But Aaron didn't get that punishment. I wonder why God didn't judge Aaron. That God knows. But 31:54 I can say as a woman Miriam Miriam left her place. She went out of her boundary to find fault with the person God had chosen. And that's a lesson for us as sisters not to go beyond the place where God puts us there. God has put us under our 32:14 husbands under elders of the church. And the Lord says it's none of your business. If something's wrong and something goes wrong, they are under God. God will deal with them and God will show them where they're going 32:30 wrong. We can only pray but not our business to go and confront them or be bold and say this is wrong. I know many times many sisters have gone out of their boundary and I've seen how they have suffered and for me that's a fear. 32:48 and say Lord help me to find my place and to remain in the place where you have kept me and that's what I want to share with us dear sisters now um we are not born with this uh meek nature meek and quiet spirit as I said 33:07 it's the opposite that there in us but the lord says we wants to give us he Jesus said come to me and learn of me as soon as We come to the Lord and accept him as our savior and Lord the work begins and then we submit to the working 33:26 of the Holy Spirit every day. Every day is pray Lord let your spirit work in my heart. Give me the fruit of the spirit which is meekness. Work in my heart Lord every day. Help me to die to myself. my obstinate stubborn nature, my hard 33:45 nature which doesn't want to yield at all. I want to die to that Lord. I want to die to I want to take up the cross. Jesus said, "Unless you die to yourself daily, take up the cross. You cannot be my disciple. Lord, I want to follow you. 34:03 I want to get that meekness from you. So, I want to die to myself." And it's only available in the new covenant. Old test, old covenant, the Holy Spirit hadn't been poured out. So [clears throat] what was expected of them was just an outward 34:19 uh way of living. They could get angry, but as long as they don't kill somebody, that was the limit. But for us, the Lord says, "I'll deal with the anger inside, all the irritation inside, the discontentment inside. I'll deal with 34:36 it. If we take up the cross and allow the Holy Spirit to work, he'll deal with that and slowly transform us little by little to be the meek person to have that meekness of Christ which Paul says he he'll give it to us. I I have faith 34:53 for that. And those of us who have taken up this path seriously, we know what type of people we were in the past and how God is helping us little by little, changing, changing us little by little. So we receive and here I want to share a 35:10 beautiful verse in 2 Corinthians 10:1. It says receive the word with meekness. I I looked up lot of verses on meekness. And I just picked out a few. If you look in the concordance, you find a plenty of verses on meekness. And each verse is a 35:27 Bible study in itself. 2 Corinthians 10:1 says, "Receive the word with meekness." So when we when we hear God's word, God speaking to us, we say yes Lord, I don't want to fight against your word. I don't want to say I'm okay. You 35:43 know, here nowadays I find this. If I ask somebody, do you want this? They say I'm okay. And I thought they're saying okay. Now I realize it says no thank you. I don't need it. So don't say I'm okay to the Lord. Say Lord, I need it. I 36:01 need that. Please work in my life. I want to receive your word. So when the Lord speak to us many time many things in in the meetings or when we read God's word by ourselves and there's a kind of unrest and say I don't want that. I 36:16 don't want it. This is getting a bit too far. Don't take it like that. Say Lord I want help me to receive your word. every word even though I'm so far from it and it seems like I'm the opposite still I want to receive it with meekness and the 36:33 Lord will work in us through the power of the Holy Spirit. Then another verse is in 1 Timothy 6:11. I hope these verses are right. But 1 Timothy 6:11, it says follow after meekness. It's not that we receive meekness as a gift in 36:50 our heart once. But every day if we follow after meekness in every situation follow after meekness. And if we have to talk to somebody and they are not born again or they are not they're seeing they're very different maybe a rebellious children or 37:09 backsliden person he says in 2 Timothy 2 verse 25 it says instruct people in meekness the way we talk to people even if they are wrong they should be with meekness don't say oh you always been like that you're always a stubborn 37:27 obstinate person, when will you ever change? Those kind of words should never come from us. It's instruct them with meekness. And then >> [clears throat] >> uh Galatians 6:1 it says restore others in meekness. If somebody has gone away 37:43 from the Lord and living a life very far from the u from the Lord, the Lord says you can you restore that person as long as you use meekness. Don't speak to them from a level as if you're way up there and they are way down there in the pit 38:01 and you're going to lift them up. Restore them in the spirit of meekness. That's in Galatians 1 and Galatians 6:1. Then in Titus vers 3, chapter 3:2, it says, "Show meekness to all people, whoever we are." Sometimes when we see 38:20 people who are like beneath us in society maybe our children and we try to be rough and we act in a rough way to all people show meekness to all. Then um in Ephesians 4:2 it says walk 38:40 worthy of our calling with loneliness, meekness and longsuffering. You'll see all that loneliness, meekness, longsuffering, all of that in the Galatians 5. The fruit of the spirit, gentleness and meekness, they all go together. They're like different 38:59 branches of the same tree. Humility, gentleness, meekness, they all are branches of the same tree. Fruit on the same fruit of the spirit. Then there are some promises which the Lord wants us to claim to. He says in Psalm 39:17 147:E6, Psalm 147:6, he says, "The Lord lifts up the meek." Anytime we have fallen and we are discouraged or we find that the battle is too hard for us, the Lord says we can [clears throat] claim this 39:35 promise. The Lord lifts up the meek. As long as we remain meek, the Lord will lift us up. And Psalm 76:9 says, "When God judges the people, he lifts up the meek." Another promise is in Isaiah 29:E 19. It 39:54 says, "The meek will increase in joy." Think of the days when we are sad or downcast and things are not going our way. This is a promise we can claim. As long as we remain meek, Lord, I want to be a meek person in your hands and God 40:12 will give us more and more joy. It says in another translation, we'll get receive fresh joy in the Lord. Every day there'll be freshness. Amen. May the Lord make that reality in our life. So these are promises we can hold on to. 40:31 And uh there's a promise there's a prophecy about Jesus in Isaiah 61 that Jesus when the Messiah comes when Jesus comes he'll bring good tidings to the meek. The proud people will miss it but the good news comes to those who are meek. 40:49 That's in Isaiah 61 verse1. And then um the verse which we already wrote uh meditated um the meek will inherit the earth. That's a surprise for us. God has kept us. And Psalm 10949 41:09 verse 4 it says he beautify the meek. Now as we grow older we think like oh what's happening to me? I'm getting older. But the Lord says don't worry if you're meek I'll beautify you. So praise God. Not the outward beauty which the 41:27 world looks at but the inward beauty which the Lord will give us. Then um the Psalm 22 verse 26 ways the meek or the afflicted will eat and be satisfied. 41:45 Psalm 25:9 says the meek we know that verse. Psalm 25:9 it's a good verse to reme to memorize. Psalm 25:9 says the meek he will guide. He will guide us if we are meek. We don't know Lord which way shall I turn? Shall I do this or 42:03 that? Shall I make this decision or that? And especially if it involves a family and the Lord says you remain meek. I'll guide you each day. I'll guide you. I'll guide you with my eye. it says and um he'll teach the humble in this way. 42:21 So I I wrote down Lord how will I be able to remain meek all my days of my life? It's such a treasure that I want to have but in living in this world and dealing in daily circumstances and I'm tempted to have to be the opposite of 42:40 meek. I want to say my I voice my opinion. We can say what we feel but in a spirit of meekness. We can say it in humility. Even if somebody's wrong, we it doesn't mean that we have to keep our mouth shut and say I'm not going to say 42:57 anything. I'm going to be meek. No, we can say what we needs to be said but in the spirit of meekness. That's the Lord speaks wants us to do. and and come to him daily and say Lord I want to learn weakness from you. Matthew 11 it says 43:14 come to me and I learn of me and I say Lord and the Holy Spirit will help us and say Lord I want to submit to the Holy Spirit every day of my life today give me the uh meekness which you want me to have clothe me with that meekness 43:31 every [clears throat] day without that meekness I'm naked Lord you clothe me with meekness and every day we should sense our need we should not say oh I reached somewhere Every day we should say Lord I'm a needy person. I need I need your grace. I need 43:48 your uh this gift of the this meekness in my daily life. And when we sense our need and we pray about it and think that God has promised it. It's not an empty promise. It's not an empty word. God Almighty has promised that he'll give us 44:07 that meekness. If we are meek, there's a reward also for us and he'll help us. So we claim that promise even if it takes time. Little by little we God God will fulfill that promise what he promised and believe that victory will be asked. 44:24 When the Lord comes, he's going to find all look all throughout the earth and he's going to pick up, oh, here's this meek person. Here's another meek person. Oh, here she is in India, in America, she in Greenland, in Africa. Here's 44:41 another meek person. And he's going to pick up all the meek people. May the Lord make us uh part of that that kingdom. And there are ways uh in by which we can choke that meekness which the Lord wants to give up give us. 44:58 That's a warning for us. If we stop praying and we think we've reached somewhere when pride comes into our heart and we we are ready to pick up an argument. If somebody says something, we want to open our mouth and say something 45:13 or inwardly we say, "Huh, who does she think she is to tell me like that and um look at her? her life is like this and she's like this, she's like the moment we start judging other people inwardly even that will be a way in which we 45:29 choke that meekness and we stop uh the spirit's flow of meekness into our life and we compare if we compare ourselves with others and say oh she's so proud I'm not like that if we start if we start comparing ourselves then or judging uh 45:49 others If we allow proud prow pride to enter into our life. So every day we come to the Lord and say Lord this is the top priority in my life now. Give me the meek and quiet spirit which you said every woman should have. Every woman of 46:05 God should have. Give me that meek and quiet spirit. Lord I need it today. And not only in the beginning of the day throughout the day when different things come up and things are not coming according to our plan some frustrations 46:18 come. say, "Oh Lord, don't let me lose that meekness which you want me to give." So we come to the end of the our time is up, but in closing, I just want to share a verse. Colossians 3:12. Colossians 3:12. It says, "Put on as 46:37 God's chosen ones holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, forgiving one another as the Lord has forgiven us." So, put on as God's chosen every day, Lord, clothe me. 46:57 Clothe me with that humility and meekness every day, Lord. And because you have chosen me and may the Lord help us all in our daily life to take this seriously this uh quality of meekness because a greater reward is waiting for 47:15 us. Amen. Our heavenly father we praise and thank you for this time you've given us and thank you for the your word which is so rich. Please Lord, we pray that you'll give us that meekness of Christ. Please clothe us with that meekness, 47:33 Lord, not only today, but every day till the day you appear. Lord Jesus, help us to be found clothed with that meekness. We thank you for the Holy Spirit who poured in our hearts who gives us strength every day. Give us the strength 47:49 and grace, Lord, and help us to take up the cross every day, die to ourselves, so can we can receive more or more of that godly nature, that divine nature.
