0:18 So, we were looking at 2 Corinthians 11. My burden is to restore 0:35 all our churches and all our elder brothers to that first love that we had for Jesus Christ. I feel that 1:04 many of us, when we first came to Christ, we loved him so much. But now we've got so taken up with activity and meetings and Those days 1:26 we would never miss reading the Bible even for one day. But now we don't take it seriously. Those days we had time for God. Now we are busy with so many other 1:49 things. Maybe television. I'll tell you who is permitted to have television in their house. Those who can keep it under their feet 2:13 as a servant. Many of you have got servants, maids helping in your house. How would you like if they take over the 2:31 house and tell you what to do? You won't keep that servant maid in your house even for one day. I'll tell you that if you can't listen to me, 2:51 don't stay here. Anything that takes away your time from God in your house that has become your master. 3:14 When it says God is jealous, he is jealous that he wants to be the only master in your life. It's not only Paul who is jealous. Like we read here, we read in James chapter 4, God says 3:33 he's also jealous. See James chapter 4 and verse 5. God says, I He jealously desires the spirit which 3:50 he has made to dwell in us. What does that mean that God is jealously desiring our spirit? It's not the Holy Spirit. 4:11 Our spirit. Man is body, soul, and spirit. And God doesn't dwell in my body. You must know that. I'll prove it to you. If you cut off your hand, you don't lose 4:30 any bit of God. If you cut off your legs, you don't lose God. That shows God doesn't dwell in your body. He does not dwell in your mind. You get more educated and your mind 4:48 expands, you don't get more of God. Or as you grow older, your memory decreases, you don't get less of God. So, God doesn't dwell in your body or in your mind. He dwells in your spirit. 5:11 And he's very jealous that in the spirit there should not be place for anybody else. Only God. In your mind, you can have place for 5:30 your education and your job and whatever you need to study for this world. In your body, you can have place for food and sleep. And your marriage relationship with your 5:51 wife. But in your spirit there must be place for nobody but God. It's something like your husband saying in the marriage bed 6:08 to his wife, "Nobody else but me." That's what God is saying. Is it wrong for a husband to say that to his wife? "On the marriage bed, only me. Nobody 6:28 else, not even for 1 second." Hebrews 13:4. How do you hold your marriage in honor? By making sure that your marriage bed is 6:50 undefiled. And I think most of us are very careful in that area. I hope all of us are careful in that area. That 7:11 in the marriage bed, nobody but the one I'm married to. Same way God is saying. In your spirit, nobody but me. Not even your wife or children or 7:33 anybody. The spirit is reserved for God. And that is the central part of your life. So, we have to be We understand then James 7:52 4, God says that God is jealous for the spirit that he has put within us. And it's a very serious thing when we 8:09 don't love God with all our heart. The heart and the spirit are the same in the New Testament. That means all your heart means there's no place in your heart for anybody else. And when you love God with all your 8:30 heart, you love your husband and wife much better. You'll never get angry with each other. You get angry with each other because you love your wife more than you love God. That's all. You must not love your wife more than 8:50 you love God. You ask anybody who loves God with all his heart, he'll never get angry with his wife. Because what is there to be angry with? God is ruling his whole life and making 9:07 everything work for good. He has got no complaint against any human being in the whole world. For whom does God make everything work for good? Not for everybody. 9:28 Not even for every believer. It is only for those who love God with all their heart. See See Romans 8:28. Read the Bible carefully. We know that God causes all things to 9:49 work together for good, not for everybody, but to those who love God. to those who are called according to his purpose. You know what his purpose is? That we must love him with all our 10:08 heart. Jesus said that. That is his purpose. That is his first commandment. If I can give you a wonderful promise. You may be the poorest, most illiterate person sitting here. Nothing in your bank account. No bank 10:29 account, perhaps. Maybe you're living in a house which doesn't even have a proper address. If you love God with all your heart. Every single thing that happens in your 10:49 life will work for your good. Paul had a sickness. Even that sickness worked for his good. It's true. Everything works for your good. I had an experience with that recently. 11:14 Um There is a So, those who are in the villages may not know this, but there is a worldwide system today called the internet. Our churches got 11:34 messages and all there. And there are many people who anybody can write something on the internet. And all over the world people can read it. So, there are some people in India 11:55 who don't like me. Who don't like our churches. Who don't like the things we stand for and preach. Who have written all types of lies and evil things on the internet. It doesn't disturb me. 12:19 I know who they are and I love them. Why? Because I know even that God can make work for good. But I was wondering how will God make that work for good? About a month ago I got an email from 12:42 somebody. I was searching through the internet. And I saw all these evil things that people have written about you. And I saw 13:03 that you never replied anything. You know, you know if I want there itself on that page itself I could have replied. And that person said that is what blessed me. Someone in the night. It doesn't 13:27 affect you in any way in your ministry. That person said that has encouraged me in my Christian life. I said, "Lord, thank you." Even that God is making to work for good 13:45 for somebody. So, I hope that person will keep on writing some more things and not take off all that from the internet. Because I want more people to be encouraged and inspired. And I will never reply to it. 14:10 Because many years ago when somebody was speaking a lot of evil about me, the Lord asked me a question. Uh do you want to reply to him or shall I reply to him? I said, "Lord, you better reply. I cannot reply." And the Lord said, "You leave it to me. 14:31 I'll deal with that." And I want to say to all of you, are you disturbed when somebody said something bad about you? Are you disturbed because you heard somebody said something bad about your 14:49 children? Can you follow Jesus? Who when they called him prince of devils, he said, you know what he said? 15:07 "I am an ordinary man." So, you are forgiven. If you will see that that you are an ordinary man or a woman, But will forgive them. The Son of God who walked on this earth 15:30 He said, "I'm an ordinary man. So, you can call me prince of devils. I'll forgive you. But don't speak against God. You can speak against me. But today servants of preachers are not 15:48 like that. I actually heard one preacher on television. Uh uh not television, on the internet. I heard him saying like this. 16:06 I curse all those who curse me. I said, "Is this man a servant of Jesus Christ or servant of the devil?" Jesus says, "Bless those who curse you." But this man is a great famous Christian 16:25 preacher, but he says, "I curse all those who curse me." Immediately I knew this is not a servant of Jesus. I'll tell you he's one of the most famous preachers in the world today. Somebody asked me this question, "Why 16:47 don't you mention names of people in your meetings, I said, "Do you ever hear Jesus speaking about Annas or Caiaphas or anybody's name?" He only said, "Pharisees, Sadducees." 17:10 I also say I mean I don't say like that. No names. Then somebody wrote Then somebody wrote But Paul told names to Timothy. I say I also tell names in private to my 17:26 closest co-workers but not publicly. If you follow Jesus, you'll always be right. them. When they spit on your face 17:48 or crucify Say Father, forgive them. God will make everything work for your good. That's the other way we know that we love God with all our heart. We all can imagine. Yeah, yeah, I love 18:09 God with all my heart. I told you if you don't love your brother, you don't love God with all your heart. Now we want to go next class, one class higher. We all want to get a promotion, am I 18:27 right? More than promotion in your job, you must look for promotion in the Christian life. If you're not getting a promotion, you must be disturbed. Like your children, they fail in a 18:44 class, you're disturbed. When I love my brothers, I'm in one class. When I love my enemies, I got a promotion. Have you got that promotion? 19:06 Are you still failing in this first class of loving your brothers and sisters? Loving your brothers and sisters can be easy. But to love your enemies 19:22 to have no complaint against anyone. Jesus never had a complaint. See how this person is treating me. See how that person is treating me. And I believe a Christian is should be 19:42 like that. But I guess I'm pretty lonely and I don't know I find so many believers in our churches. They have a complaint against this person, complaint against that person. I say Lord, when will these people get out of the kindergarten class? 20:03 They can't even love their brothers. Where will they go to the next class to love their enemies? The kindergarten every year they are failing. Why do I say LKG? Because Jesus said this is the first 20:23 commandment. This is not the 80th commandment. No, that is all college level. First commandment. Like your children go to school in the kindergarten. This is the 20:39 first learn ABC. Or whatever it is in that language. That you have to learn. And the like that the first thing love God with all your heart. How to test it? Love your brothers and 21:01 sisters. Who is the brother and sister you see every day? Your wife, your husband. Start with loving them. Never mind if they are evil. They are not more evil than the 21:22 Pharisees who killed Jesus Christ. And Jesus said, "Father, forgive them." We must come back to that original fervent devotion to Christ. God is jealous for our spirit. 21:45 I believe as God looks at all of us sitting here today, he is sad. Not angry, but sad. I want to tell you God is never angry with his but he's sad. 22:06 You know, if your child fails in a class, you're sad more than angry. If your child is sick, you don't get angry with your child. 22:23 You feel sad. And when you don't love the Lord with all your heart, it's God is sad. Because you look at that child and say, "I remember when this child was born, he was so healthy." Now he's 10 years old, he's always 22:46 falling sick, always falling sick. But he was such a healthy child when he was born. Does God say that about you? You were such a healthy child when you were 23:03 first born again. You had no criticism against anybody. You only judged yourself. And you loved God with all your heart. You didn't know the Bible so much. But today, after 10 years, 23:22 you're always sick. You have so much knowledge of the Bible, but you don't love Jesus like you I want to give you a very gentle invitation. Come back to your first love. 23:45 One 2nd Corinthians 11. Paul says in verse four, "Why have you been led astray? Because you've been listening to 24:04 the preaching of another Jesus." And you've been from other preachers. You've been listening to the preaching of another Jesus. What is this another Jesus? 24:24 A Jesus who can forgive your sin, but cannot deliver you from any sin. He can forgive you your anger, but he can never deliver you from your anger. That is another Jesus. 24:43 A Jesus who can deliver you from the mighty power of Pharaoh in Egypt, but cannot deliver you from the giants in Canaan. Do you understand the meaning of that? 25:04 That means one who can deliver you from Satan, but he can't deliver you from your own lusts. Pharaoh is like Satan. The giants in Canaan are like the lusts in our flesh. The Israelites were delivered from 25:25 Pharaoh. His army was the most powerful army in the world. But they could not believe that this God could deliver them from these weak giants in Canaan. That's how many Christians are today. 25:47 Another Jesus who can forgive their sin regularly. If I ask you how many of you have been delivered FROM SATAN? I'M THINKING ALL OF YOU WILL RAISE YOUR HAND. Next question. 26:05 How many of you have been delivered from the lusts in your flesh? And you're hesitant to raise your hand. That's what I mean. You believe God can deliver you from Satan. But he cannot deliver you from your own 26:27 lusts. Which is more powerful? Satan or the lust in your flesh? Do you know the most evil, most powerful of all evil people is Satan? Not your lusts. 26:48 Your lusts are so weak compared to Satan. And that is like Pharaoh and these are like the giants in Canaan. And you say Jesus can deliver you from Satan, but he can't deliver you from these lust in your flesh. Jesus can forgive my sin. 27:11 But he can't deliver me from these lust. That is another Jesus. It's not the Jesus of the Bible. And it is because you believe in this other Jesus that you have lost your devotion to Christ. To forgive your sin, God had to pay a 27:37 tremendous price. He had to send his son to die on the cross to deliver you from your lust. It was much easier. He only sent his Holy Spirit. That's 27:56 all. God did two things. He sent his son to die on Calvary. And he sent his spirit on the day of Pentecost. Say, "Father, which was easier for you? 28:14 Was it easier for you to send your son to die on Calvary or was it easier for you to send your spirit on the day of Pentecost?" He'll say, "My son, my daughter, 28:35 do you have to ask me that question? Don't you know yourself which was more difficult for me? It was much more It was much more to send his son to die on Calvary than for him to send his spirit on the day of 28:53 Pentecost. If he was willing to pay such a price just to forgive your sin by sending Jesus to die on the cross. 29:17 You think now he won't give you that which is much easier to give you the power of his spirit to free you from all your lust? There's another Jesus that many Christians are believing in. I know who are the people who 29:39 oppose me so much. Those who don't believe in victory over sin. Those who don't believe in victory over sin. Those who love money. Money they seek over all. They hate me because I preach victory 29:57 over sin and freedom from the love of money. Why do you think those 450 prophets of Baal hated Elijah on Mount Carmel? Because Elijah said you can only worship 30:17 Jehovah, you can't worship Baal also. Most people said you can do both, worship Jehovah and Baal. Do you know the name of Baal today? Mammon. That is the new name of Baal. 30:41 And there are a few you cannot worship Christ and money. But there are 450 million other preachers who will say you can do both. And they hate everyone who says you got 31:06 to choose between Christ and mammon. That is another Jesus. Whom you can who says, "Oh, it's all right if you worship me and worship money, also." And Paul says 31:29 somebody preaches another Jesus And you verse 4 you accept it beautifully. You are so happy to accept it. Another Jesus. That's happening. 31:51 And it says here also you have received a different spirit. 2 Corinthians 11:4 That is also happening in Christendom today. A different spirit. I'll explain it to you. 32:15 If you ask a person If you are filled with an evil spirit, what will happen? You'll become evil. If you are filled with an unclean spirit If you have a adulterous spirit 32:38 You will keep on committing If you got a money-loving spirit, you'll have love money. If you have a bitter spirit, you'll be bitter towards people. If you got the Holy Spirit, what should 32:56 you be? People will say, "You'll speak in tongues." How is that? YOU'LL BE HOLY. JUST LIKE THOSE OTHER SPIRITS give you their nature. A bitter spirit will make you bitter. 33:19 An adulterous spirit will make you adulterous. An unclean spirit will make you unclean. The Holy Spirit should make you holy. You know, the Holy Spirit does many things for us. Gives us power to be witnesses. Gives us 33:39 love for others. Gives us humility. So, we could say the Father could have chosen many names for the Holy Spirit. All of them would have been right. 33:58 Father, Son, and Loving Spirit. And that would have been right. Father, Son, and Humble Spirit. That would also have been right. Why did he choose Holy Spirit? Not Father, Son, and 34:19 Gift-Giving Spirit. Why didn't he call him like that? Why Father, Son, and Holy Spirit? Cuz that's the main thing he gives. Many years ago one 34:39 visitor came to our church. Uh he I later on I discovered he was from some Pentecostal church. And after that he just attended one meeting Sunday morning. And he came to me and said, "You don't have the Holy Spirit in your 34:58 church." I said, "Why?" "Cuz you don't make so much noise." Ah, I said. I said, "That's because you and I have got two different trinities." "Your trinity is Father, Son, and Noisy 35:22 Spirit." "My trinity is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit." "Your spirit makes noise, my spirit gives me holiness." "And you go to the Bible and see which trinity is in the Bible." So, many people have got another spirit. 35:50 Noise-making spirit. Excitement-giving spirit. Spirit that gives you electric shock down your spine. Spirit that makes you fall down. I have got Holy Spirit. 36:15 What spirit have you got? Who is your trinity? What is your trinity? Father, Son, and what type of spirit? I have Spirit. So, I say that's what we believe in. And then people say, 36:38 Uh but it says in Acts 2:4, that when they were filled with the Spirit, they spoke in tongues. I say, "Before you go to Acts 2:4, go to Acts 2:3." In Acts 2:3, it says they got a tongue 37:00 of fire on top of their heads before they spoke in tongues. I said, "When God filled me with the Holy Spirit, I got a tongue of fire." Not on top of my head. 37:21 Inside my mouth. It's no use having it on top of my head if I don't have it inside my mouth. All of us are born with a tongue that has got the fire of hell on it. I don't know what I'm talking about. It 37:43 says that in James chapter 3, James 3:6, the tongue is a fire, now I'm going to put that. A world of iniquity. It is inside our body and in our 38:02 members. Because it is set on fire by the fire of hell, it sets the whole course of my life on fire. Haven't you seen heard sometimes 38:21 somebody just lit a match and the whole house got burned? So, let me have you get ready to get ready. This this fire of hell which is inside our mouth. The fire of hell. You see that in children. 38:40 How they speak with their tongue to each other and even to their parents. As the fire OF HELL INSIDE THAT TONGUE of your little child. That's why you must discipline it. Otherwise that fire will burn up his whole body. Never allow your child to speak rudely 39:05 to you or to your wife without apologizing immediately. My children were no different from your children. Exactly like all the children of Adam. There's no difference. 39:26 Some people the rebellion is outside, some people it is inside. That's all. All the children in the world are the same. Bible says foolishness is bound up in their heart. The only way to remove it is by discipline. Whenever my any of my children spoke 39:49 rudely to my wife, immediately I would say "You cannot do anything more in this house before you go and apologize." Because I want to deliver them from this tongue of fire and the hell in their 40:08 mouth. Don't take that lightly. And the wonderful message is that God can take away this tongue which is on the fire of hell and put the fire of heaven inside that. 40:35 When you stop criticizing other people and start judging yourself. See Isaiah chapter 6. First of all, Isaiah 5. Isaiah was a man who saw a lot of evil 40:56 around him. And everything he said was right. Isaiah 5:8 Woe unto those who are keeping on buying property so that they can live alone in the middle of the land. Verse 11, woe to those who rise up early 41:18 in the morning just to get drunk. Verse 18, woe to those who keep on dragging sin like with cords of lies. Verse 20, those who call evil good and those who call good evil, woe unto them. Verse 20 41:40 Verse 21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes. Everything he said was right. But he hadn't seen his own heart. Chapter 6, he saw the Lord one day. Verse one I saw the Lord. 41:59 And then he says Verse five Woe is me. He says woe to himself now. What about you? 42:15 Are you in chapter five or chapter six? Everything you say about other believers is correct, brother, sister. Every 100% correct. Everything that Isaiah said was 42:34 absolutely correct. But he had not seen the Lord. And I'll say to you, you have not seen the Lord, either. You are a good lawyer. Examine everything carefully and find 42:53 fault with that accused person. You are not a lawyer who tells lies. You You are a truthful lawyer. Just like the devil who accuses people correctly with that spirit of 43:12 accusation. You can speak the truth with a tongue on fire of hell. The Bible says the devil accuses us day and night to God. You think he tells lies? 43:33 You think he tells lies God that man that child of yours committed murder? He can't tell a lie to God. He's a liar to us, but he can't tell a lie to God. He speaks the truth to God, but he's an accuser. And you can speak the truth about other 43:54 believers, and you are an accuser with the spirit of Satan. Because your spirit is not the spirit of Jesus Christ wanting to save that person from his sin, BUT TO CONDEMN HIM for his sin. And to show that you are holier than 44:21 that person. You brothers and sisters who speak the truth about others, the truth and nothing but the truth, I want to say to you, you got the spirit 44:39 of Satan. Who speaks nothing but the truth to God, but it's just to show that see how bad they are. Why do you think say Satan is accusing God's children to him? They night it says in Revelation 12:10. 45:04 They night. He's a full-time worker, 24 hours. There is no full-time worker like him on the earth. But he's an accuser. Are you like that? Every time you speak evil about some 45:24 brother, with the motive to condemn him and not to save him, the devil will hold your hand. He says, "Thank you. Thank you. Thank 45:42 you so much. You are making my job so much easier." Many of you have done that. I have done that in my younger days when 46:00 I was a fool. That's why I cannot I don't have any stones to throw at anybody. Because Jesus said, "He who is without sin, throw the stone." And I am not without sin. I have done the same things. 46:19 But I have grown up. I have put away childish things. That's what I'm asking you. I'm not condemning you. I'm asking you, when will you grow up and put away childish things? Haven't you heard your own little 46:41 children come to you? Mommy, he did this. He did this. And everything they say is correct. But they don't see their own fault. That is childishness. That is childishness. But when God shows when Isaiah saw the 47:01 Lord You know the great tragedy, brothers and sisters? Is we come to the Bible, but we don't see Jesus. That's very sad. If I read the Bible for 5 minutes, I 47:19 want to see Jesus. I don't want to read the whole chapter. One verse is enough if I've seen Jesus. Enough. Do you read the Bible like that? 47:38 I'll give you one example. If I read just two verses and I saw Jesus. Let me show you an example of how to read the Bible. How to study the Bible. Just two verses. John, chapter 7. In In whole of John, chapter 7, most of 47:57 it, Paul Jesus is preaching. From chapter 7:14 onwards, right up to the end of the chapter, he's preaching, preaching, preaching. Sermon finished with all the discussions and all in verse 52. It's 7:52. 48:21 All the sermon, all the discussions, everything was over. And what happens when the meeting is over? Verse 53. Everybody went to their own house. That's what you do also at the end of a meeting. But this was in Jerusalem. And in 48:41 Jerusalem, the guy and Jesus' house was many hundred kilometers away in Capernaum. He couldn't go to his own home. And nobody asked him, uh, "Lord, where are you staying 49:00 tonight?" Nobody. Everybody's gone and he's the only one left there. And he has to preach next morning also. What does he do? 49:22 He says, "My father has created some nice trees on Mount Olives. I like to sleep in the fresh air tonight. The grass is as good as any bed." 49:46 He slept there. Says in next verse, chapter 8, verse 1, Jesus, "Everybody went to their own house, but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. And and early in the morning, verse two, 50:03 he gets up and comes back to preach. And all the people came, sat, and were coming to listen. And nobody asked, "Where did you sleep last night, Lord?" And how do you think Jesus began? 50:31 You know, to make people feel bad, he could have said, "Well, last night when I was sleeping under the trees in Mount Olives, that is a clever way of telling people." 50:50 You know, sometimes preachers use that method to inform people something about their lives. make people sorry for Make people sorry for him. He said, "Don't feel sorry for me. I'm 51:10 all right." Remember, even when he was carrying the cross, beaten and hammered, he said, "Don't weep for me. I'm all right." He said, "Daughters of Jerusalem, I'm all right. Don't weep for me." Daughters Daughters of Jerusalem. 51:30 I'm all right. A little blood and crown of thorns and all that's okay. I'm doing the will of my father. I'm okay. Weep for yourselves. Weep for your children. 51:47 That's how Jesus' attitude was always. That's the mark of a follower of Jesus Christ. He never wants to make other people sorry for him. Do you feel Are you like that? 52:07 Oh, brother, these people are treating me like this. This people are saying doing that. My neighbor is doing that. My mother-in-law is doing this. And my brother-in-law cheated me of the property. And in the office, the boss is treating me 52:25 like this. And the devil is also troubling me here and there. And then also, on top of that, I've got an ache here and an ache here and an ache here. And make everybody feel sorry. Oh, poor thing. 52:44 Where do you find Jesus saying that? I learned something about Jesus from here. He never wanted anything from anybody. If he suffered, he would suffer secretly and not tell anybody. And he was just as happy even if nobody 53:05 cared for him. I say, "Lord, when I travel places, how well your children treat me. Good food, good beds, so many things. 53:29 But nobody cared for you. And you came to the earth for me. Help me to be ashamed of myself if I ever ever ever complain about even a small little thing. If Do you have a complaint that your 53:53 husband is not treating you properly? Or your wife is not behaving properly? Or this or that of the other person? Learn, learn from Jesus. The great preacher. 54:10 After preaching and blessing people, seeing healing them, they all praise the Lord and go home and forget about where the preacher is going to stay. And he goes and quietly sleeps under the 54:27 trees and comes back and preaches again. From two verses, I learned something about Jesus. Read the Bible like that. Isaiah saw the Lord. 54:48 You won't see yourself by reading the Bible. You will see yourself when you see Jesus like Isaiah saw. When I saw Jesus in these two verses, just two verses, two verses done. Everyone went to their own house, but 55:07 Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. I saw myself because I saw the Lord. He said, "Wo- like Isaiah said, I said, "Woe is me." Lord, I have sometimes even if I have not said it with my 55:26 mouth, I have sometimes expected that somebody will do something. I'm ashamed. Because you never expected Because you never expected anything. You never expected any respect or honor or 55:45 anything. I want to be like you. I don't want to expect anything from my wife. I don't want to expect my children to look after me when I'm an old man. I expect everything from my father in heaven. Some of you older people. 56:10 Are you expecting your children to take care of you when you're old? Many parents in India are like that. I don't want all my children to go away far away from me. Who will take care of me when I'm Are you a Christian or a heathen? 56:38 What did you have children for? To live for God or to look after you? Raise your children for God, not for yourself. What is the meaning of lay not up 56:56 treasure for yourself? Your treasure is your children. And you're laying them UP FOR YOURSELF. THEY MUST LOOK AFTER YOU. THEY don't have to You're not a disciple of Jesus Christ. You call yourself a Christian, but you 57:15 live for yourself. Put God first. Love him with all your heart.
