0:19 We've been thinking about building godly families and uh godly church. It's good for us to think about the origin of sin in the world. Because 0:43 there we see the root of all the ungodliness in the world. And uh if we get rid of the root, the fruit will disappear. See, some of us are trying to be godly, 1:05 constantly battling with this sin and that sin and the other sin. But as long as you don't hit the root, it'll come out here, it'll come out there. You know, it's like supposing you had a 1:29 sickness which is having all kinds of sores coming out in your body. And you discover a wonderful ointment that some doctor gives you. Every time you rub it, it goes off. You're very thankful for that ointment. 1:53 But then that um sore will come somewhere else in your leg or somewhere. Then you rub the ointment, it goes off. It comes on your chest or stomach Again, it can come back on your hand. 2:14 So, you keep on using this ointment. You're very thankful because other people who don't have the ointment keep on suffering with this. The doctor says, "Now they have discovered a antibiotic." It's not an ointment. 2:38 You take this tablet for 1 week. Maybe three times a day. And you're an uneducated person, you can't understand how something you put inside your stomach will heal what is on your hand. So, the doctor says, "You may not 2:59 understand it, but I'll tell you it'll work. You come back after 1 week and tell me." So, he takes this for 1 week. It's gone. For 1 year, there's no problem. He says, "Doctor, this is a miracle." 3:22 It's not a miracle. Till now, you were only dealing with the fruit of that disease. The antibiotic went inside and hit the root of the disease. So, when we talk about victory over sin, 3:43 very often we are dealing with some particular sin there on the outside. I got to overcome my anger or my murmuring or my sexual lusting or my telling lies. 4:02 And these are all outer fruit. And you're battling one, you get rid of that, there's another one. And then sometimes the same thing comes back again. Isn't it good to discover the root of it? Let's start in scripture, how sin came 4:23 into this beautiful universe that God created that was perfect. In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. That's the first verse of Genesis. The next verse is the earth became 4:43 corrupt and dark and empty. How did that happen? God doesn't make the earth like that. Something happened between verse 1 and 2. You see, why is it not written there? 5:03 Because this book was written for man. What happened there happened to the angels. It's mentioned somewhere else. But that is what made the earth corrupt. You know, whenever sin comes, it's not really the person that's affected. All 5:22 his surroundings get affected, also. When Adam sinned, all of a sudden, the lions became violent. And the snakes became poisonous. And the scorpion, which was a very 5:41 pleasant animal, suddenly became poisonous. And sickness and so many problems came because one man sinned. So, that just shows how terrible sin is. It affects all our surroundings. So, what you read in the second verse of 6:02 Genesis is because the angels sinned. Many of you have read these passages, but I'd like to show it to the benefit of those who don't know. Ezekiel 28. 6:23 The Lord told Ezekiel, verse 12, "Take a lamentation of the against the king of Tyre." 12th verse. Take a lamentation against the king of Tyre. The real king of Tyre was the devil who 6:45 was living inside the earthly king. Just like Jesus would speak to a demon who was inside a person and say, "What's your name?" He wasn't asking the man, he was asking the demon. So, here also, the Lord was telling the 7:08 real king of Tyre is this devil who's living inside this man. Satan. You had the seal of perfection once upon a time. You were you were full of wisdom, 7:26 perfect in beauty. You were in Eden before Adam was there. There was an Eden in Genesis chapter 1, verse 1. And long before Adam was created. 7:46 And it was this beautiful angel, the ruler of angels, who is known as Lucifer, who was there. He was perfect in wisdom, beauty, position. Head of all the angels. And 8:06 he was a very musical person, we read. You read about that in the subsequent verses. In one translation, the middle of verse 13, it speaks of tambourines and flutes. He was a very He was the anointed 8:29 cherub, verse 14, that covered the whole place. And this is not the earthly king. This is a demon inside, the devil inside. And you were on the holy mountain of God. And you were blameless, verse 15, in all 8:47 your ways. But on all verse 17, your heart was lifted up because of your beauty. See, there were three things that Lucifer had. Lucifer had three things. Remember, this is an earth that was 9:05 perfect. No sin anywhere. Everything was holy and pure. Even the angels were like that. And then one person, one angel. 9:24 What did he get? Only going to get a pride in his heart. I'm so good-looking. I'm so clever. I'm ruling over millions of angels. That was the first time that sin came 9:46 into the world. What is the first sin? It was not dirty thoughts and sexual sin. It was not anger. It was pride. 10:04 Pride in our beauty, his beauty, his wisdom, his position. Three things. This is the origin of sin in this universe. Pride 10:24 Pride in one's beauty. It could be physical beauty, it could be spiritual beauty. In wisdom. Could be pride in one's earthly wisdom. Bible knowledge. 10:42 Spiritual wisdom. Any type of pride. And pride in one's position. I am the head of the angels. I'm the elder in this church. I am the wife of the elder in the church. 10:59 be proud of anything. In one moment, the Lord says, I have cast you down in the presence He was cast down. Brought fire upon you that has consumed 11:17 you, verse 18. I have cast you, verse 17, to the ground. In one moment, from that position, God threw him down. He did not lose his gifts. 11:39 He did not lose his power. And when a man is rejected by God, he may still have a gift of preaching. He may still have many, many gifts. Anointing is gone. 11:59 Grace is gone. If you cannot distinguish between grace and gifts, you'll be deceived. When you hear a person preaching, don't see whether he has got gifts. The devil has got gifts. 12:20 Grace is not there. The anointing which brings grace is gone. If you don't distinguish between that, I tell you in this today's Christianity, you will be deceived. The devil can preach better than anybody 12:39 in the world. He was the first person to bring fire from heaven in the Bible. In the book of Job. Fire came from heaven and burnt up his cattle and Elijah brought fire from heaven 12:58 thousands of years later. The first person who brought fire from heaven was Lucifer when he became Satan. There are all types of things the devil can do. The people who come to me in Bangalore 13:17 for prayer, you know, people from some other church, say, "Brother Zac, you've got to pray for my house. All types of funny things are happening there." The fused tube light will suddenly start burning. Pigs dung will fall in the middle of our 13:39 house. I said, "Yeah, that's the devil. I have I know the devil can do all types of things." He has got power, he's got gifts. That is how these people who do 13:55 witchcraft and all put curses on others. I asked this man, "What is the reason?" He said, "I and my sister have some dispute about this property." She has gone to some witch doctor and 14:13 these things are happening in my house. So, I didn't say I will pray for your house. I said, "You need to give your life to Christ first. Otherwise, there'll be no protection." 14:31 I believe devil's got tremendous power. Here in Tamil Nadu in some conference, I have seen a woman demon possessed and so powerful you need three, four men to restrain them. But tremendous Satan's got tremendous 14:51 power. So, don't think that because somebody has gift and can preach powerfully, he's anointed with a gift. God did not take away Satan's gifts. Even though he left God. 15:11 You say, "Why didn't he do that?" Let me ask you. Supposing there's a very good friend of yours. And every for 10 years, every birthday, you went and gave him some expensive gifts. And one day he gets angry with you and 15:27 leaves you. Becomes your enemy. Will you go to him and say, "Please give me back all those 10 years I gave you birthday gifts. Give it back to me." Will you do it? No. 15:46 If you don't do it as a sinner, where will God do it? He gave a gift, he said, "Okay, keep it." That is how Satan has got power. That is how so many preachers today can cast out demons, heal the sick, 16:08 preach powerfully. One day they stand before the Lord. Lord, we did all these things in your name. And the Lord will say, "Go to hell." Because you lived in sin. It's very important to understand this. 16:25 Godliness is not exercising gifts. Godliness is not exercising gifts. There are demon possessed people who can speak in tongues. That is why I'm not impressed by And a lot of the tongues I have heard is all counterfeit. 16:45 I speak in tongues. 38 years. But it's not babbling to you a few syllables, it's a language I speak to God. I have real and unreal tongues. But even if a person doesn't have 17:04 tongues, what I ask you to look for is grace. Grace is the mark of God being with a person. So, it is pride through which sin came into this world. When pride comes, 17:23 other things come out from there. You see Isaiah chapter 14. From this pride, other things came. Um And the Lord says to this angel in verse 12, 17:42 "How you have fallen from heaven, oh star of the morning, son of the dawn." Why? Because verse 13, you said in your heart, "I will ascend to heaven. I will put my throne above the stars of God. And I will ascend, verse 14, 18:02 verse 14, above the heights of the clouds. And I will go be like the most high." So, when with pride comes another spirit, the spirit of rebellion against authority. Rebellion against authority. 18:30 That is how sin originated. Pride. Rebellion against authority. The Lord says, verse 15, "You will be thrown down to hell." So, 18:49 this is what this is the root. If you don't hit this root, you will always be battling with sin. I'll tell you that. So, many people ask this question, "Brother Zac, I am fighting, fighting. I'm never able to overcome sin." 19:08 That's like this man saying, "The sore comes here, I get rid of it here, it comes here, I get rid of it here, it comes somewhere else." All your life, you'll be battling until you hit the root. And the devil doesn't want you to hit the 19:25 root. He doesn't want you to know the root of it. Why is it so many people who sat in CFC for so many years are still infected with so much of sin? Why is it that our elders who lose their 19:44 temper? All losing your temper is because of pride. no other reason. Even your defeat by sexual lust is because of pride. The Bible never says God will oppose 20:05 adulterers or murderers or thieves. God opposes those who are proud. 1 Peter 5:5. Nowhere does it say God opposes people 20:24 who watch internet pornography or who are murderers. Your sin comes out of your pride. All the sin in your life comes from one root. Pride. 20:45 And one manifestation is you rebel against the elders. Like we heard, you don't honor your father and mother at home. You rebel against your boss in the 21:04 office. Where does it come from? One source. Pride within. Pride in your beauty. In your cleverness. In your position. 21:23 In your money. In what you have accomplished in your life. In your Bible knowledge that you boast about. Or in the wonderful children you have brought up. There are so many things to be proud of. And the moment pride comes 21:45 your enemy God will be your enemy. God will be your enemy. Even if you're a believer. Never forget this. There's no partiality with God. God doesn't say, "Oh, this is a believer, so he's proud. I will excuse it." It's a law. 22:02 God opposes the proud. See, there's a law called the law of gravity If you go to the roof of this house this building and you jump down the law of gravity pull you down. 22:22 The law of gravity is not checking, is this a believer or is this unbeliever who's jumping? Gravity is not bothered whether you're believer or unbeliever. You disobey it, you'll go down. 22:39 There are many other laws like this. If you keep on eating, eating, eating and never do any exercise, you become fat. The Lord doesn't the Lord does not check up, are you a believer? The laws of God do not bother about 22:58 whether you're believer or unbeliever. You violate the laws of the body, you get sick. It doesn't matter whether you're believer or unbeliever. That's why believers get as many sicknesses as as unbelievers. And if a believer jumps off the roof, 23:21 he'll fall down just like an unbeliever. And if believer is proud, God will oppose him just like an unbeliever. It doesn't matter who you are. It could be It could be me. If I'm proud, God will oppose me. See, the Bible says 23:43 sin shall not have dominion over you when you are under grace. Romans 6:14. You say, "Brother Zac, sin has dominion over me." Yeah, then according to Romans 6:14, you 24:01 are not getting grace. No, brother, I'm getting grace. You think you're getting grace. It says here, if you're under grace, sin cannot have dominion over you. Whom shall I believe? Shall I believe 24:19 God or shall I believe you? God be true and every man a liar. I believe with all my heart that if I'm under grace, sin cannot rule over me. It's not It's like saying, if there's 24:38 raining outside and I'm under this roof, no drop of rain can come on my body. Do you understand that? If I'm under this roof let it be pouring rain outside, not one 24:54 drop will fall on my body. But if I stand near the entrance and put part of my body outside then I'll get a little wet. This is how some people surrender to God. 25:12 They don't give everything. They give a little bit to God. A little bit is outside. Sin gets dominion over them. But if they're 100% under the roof, not one drop can come upon their body. It's a promise, if you're under grace, 25:31 sin cannot rule over you. So, the second question is why are you not under grace? That is 1 Peter 5:5. God gives his grace only to the humble. So, you don't get grace because there's 25:51 some lack of humility in your life. I'll tell you why you shout at your wife. It's not because she is bad. There's no perfect wife in the world. Every man and woman in the world have 26:08 got some imperfection. It's because you're proud that you lose your temper. It's because you're proud that you commit every other sin. It's because you're proud that you watch 26:28 internet pornography. And you think it is sexual lust. How is it other people with sexual lust never watch internet pornography even once? I've also been a young man. 26:48 I've also got a computer. From the time God filled me with the Holy Spirit. I was a young man then. Till today I have never once gone to a pornographic site in my life. Do you think I'm not tempted? 27:13 Every one of us is tempted like Jesus himself was tempted. But I wanted grace. And I said, "Lord, I will humble myself any extent. I don't care for the respect or honor of 27:32 men. I will humble myself, humble myself, humble myself. You'll get grace. I'm not a special favorite of God. Nobody is a special favorite One simple brother who doesn't know much 27:51 of the Bible humbles himself, he gets grace. You are a great Bible scholar, elder in the church, you won't get grace if you're proud. I want you to understand when we talk about godly home, godly life, godly church there's one thing that has to that has 28:14 to be hit like the antibiotic hits the root of the sickness. If one course of antibiotic has not hit the root, the doctor says, "Take another course." If the root is hit, the sickness will 28:35 go. Even in cancer, they try to hit the root of it so it doesn't spread. Sin is like that. Sin is like that. Hit the root. Then purity will come in your life, in 28:52 your home, in your church. It is from this pride that rebellion against authority comes. And you know, when we have this pride 29:10 we're not satisfied to be alone. We want to gather people also. We want to gather people. See, Revelation 12. We read of Satan pictured here as a great red dragon in verse three. Seven heads and 10 horns and all that. 29:41 This This is the devil. And with his tail, he swept away the third of the stars of heaven. In the book of Job, we read of the angels as the stars of heaven. So, this is a picture of the devil 30:01 bringing 1/3 of the angels onto his side. So, when he became proud in heaven, he wanted to rebel against God. He did not want to do it alone. 30:21 He got around some of the angels and said, "Let's rebel against God." That has got a name. It's called the Lucifer ministry. That means when you are unhappy with your elder brother, you won't sit quiet. 30:43 You will go to one brother in the church and say, "Brother, what do you think of this elder? He's not very good, right?" He says, "No, no, no, he's a good brother. I'm very happy with him." He says, "No, you're talking to him." 31:00 You go to another brother. What do you think of this elder? He's not so good, right? He says, "Yeah, I also feel he's not a good man." Ah, come, we talk about it. I like to spend a little more time with you. You go around the church and 31:21 maybe you can pick up 1/3 of the church like the devil. And you got a team now. You have influence by your rebellion. This is called a Lucifer ministry. 31:38 Now, the question comes. When God saw Lucifer doing all this, why didn't he stop him immediately and throw him away? How wise God is. God says, "Let him do it. 31:58 Let me find out who are the other angels who are unhappy." Why do you think God allows you to go around the church and talk to people and create this unhappiness? God can strike you dead in one moment 32:19 for destroying his church, but he won't do it. He allowed Lucifer to go around the angels, collect all of them. When he collected all the discontented angels, in one moment God threw them all out. 32:42 What was the result? Heaven became a better place. That is why God allows you to go around and gather all the discontented people. You leave the church, 33:02 the church becomes a better place. I have to say, "Thank you, brother, for your Lucifer ministry." I don't get upset with him. Somebody comes to your house. A gardener, a gardener. He says, "Listen, there are a lot of 33:21 weeds in your garden. I want to clean all the weeds. I won't touch the good flowers." And you ask him, "How much do you want?" I'll do it free. Thank you very much. 33:41 All right, ahead and clean all the weeds. There are some brothers who've got this ministry. Go pick out all the weeds. And they do it free, that's the best part of it. And all the weeds are out, we have some 33:59 good flowers in the church now. I say we have to give a vote of thanks to all such people who have a Lucifer ministry. God will deal with them terribly one day. I would not like to be anywhere near 34:18 when God judges them on the final day for defiling and destroying his and trying to harm his church. So, this is the root of sin. And where does it begin in the human race? Adam. 34:37 God came to Eve, Jesus the devil came to Eve. So, you don't have to listen to God. Rebel against God. God said, "Don't eat of this tree." Before you do anything else in this garden, eat it. We know that Adam was created on 35:01 Friday. And the seventh day, Saturday, was a day of rest when he had fellowship with God. And on Sunday morning, I believe Eve sinned. That's why Sunday morning Jesus rose 35:22 from the dead. Say that Satan's been defeated. And that's why we gather together on Sundays. But sin came, I believe, on a Sunday. Sin came to Eden on a Sunday. I don't believe the devil waited 1 35:44 minute to destroy He couldn't touch them when they were in the presence of God for the whole of Saturday. But the moment they went into the garden, he came. 36:01 Now, the question comes. Why did God allow Satan to go into the garden? Because God wanted man to be tested. Why does God allow you to sit alone with your computer and 36:21 you're tempted to watch something filthy? God can disconnect the power or spoil your computer at that moment. It won't go. Your computer will work perfectly. 36:40 Because God wants you to test you. Is this man to be my servant? He knows the Bible and he sings and all well, but is he fit to be my servant? God will not use a man before testing 36:58 him. Aluminum they wait to airplanes they got They test it before using it. They won't use anything without testing it. For making children's toys and all, you 37:18 can use any type of material. If God has got a great ministry for you, I tell you, he will test you in many areas for many years. If you pass that all those tests, 37:38 what he will basically test you will you humble yourself? Will you go down before others? Will you refuse to rebel against authority? When we are children itself, he will 37:58 test us. Will he honor his father and mother? You know, many people say I want to walk like Jesus. They are thinking of healing the sick and walking on the water and feeding the 5,000. I say that he did only for 3 years. 38:20 Tell me what he did for 30 years before that. What is it that the father said, "This is my beloved son in whom I'm well pleased"? You know what the Bible says that he did for 30 years? There's only one verse in the gospels 38:39 which tells us what he did for 30 years. That's in Luke chapter 2. It says in verse 51, he went down to Nazareth and he continued in subjection to them, to his Joseph and Mary. That is the only verse written about 39:02 what he did for 30 years. You try and search in the gospels what else he did for 30 years. We know there is one more thing because it says in Hebrews 4:15, he was tempted like us in all points. So, that is the other thing that he did 39:21 for 30 years. He faced all types of temptation and he said, "No, no, no, no, no." He never preached a sermon in 30 years. He never healed a sick person. He never cast out a demon. 39:40 Before he could do all that, the father said let me test him. The father said, "Let God, he's your son. Do you have to test him also? Yes. Now he has come as a man. 39:59 He has to be tested like any other man before I give him a ministry. There are a lot of stupid believers who think without being tested God will give me a ministry. They've become elders for a few years 40:20 and they fall away. They they don't they're not tested. And that's why they fall. But Jesus was tested for 30 years. With what? 40:35 Will he submit to Joseph and Mary? Joseph and Mary were not perfect. Jesus was perfect. Will this perfect boy submit to imperfect father and mother? That is how salvation came to this 40:58 earth. Because he did the opposite of Lucifer. Uh pride and rebellion is the root of sin. Humility and submission to authority is the root of holiness. How is it that Jesus could overcome sin 41:20 so easily? Because he had hit the root of sin, pride and rebellion in his heart. I'm sure he was tempted many times like young boys are to rebel against Joseph and Mary for their demands upon his life. Kill those temptations. 41:47 The devil says see what a unreasonable thing. It is time for you to bat in the game now and your mother is now calling you to help her. Say tell her to wait. It's very difficult for a child who's 42:07 playing cricket to give up the bat when his turn for batting has come. If he's fielding he'll go quickly. But Jesus turn for batting has come and 42:24 the mother says come now. He would drop it and go. His teammates will say what you're running away like this? My mother has called me. 42:44 They would have made fun of him. You don't know how to say no to your mother? No. I fear God. That is why the father said this is my son in whom I'm well pleased. In my younger days there were many 43:04 things my father and mother told me to do. I I obeyed them. I did not even know God those days. Then afterwards when I left for another ministry for so many years God kept me under 43:24 unreasonable elders in churches. I would have made fun of him publicly. Refused to allow me to speak because 43:42 they saw I had a better gift than them. And you know what God told me? Keep your mouth shut. And sit in the back of this hall. And don't ever speak one word against 44:05 these elders. They were not godly men. That is the church I was attending. I did that. For years, not one or two days. God is my witness. 44:23 That in the years when God humbled me unreasonable elders from the age of 20 to the age of 35 and a half all types of situations 44:44 he humbled me, humbled me, humiliated me and God told me keep my mouth shut. Never speak against the elders. Even if they're not spiritual. Sit and discuss with other people about their faults. I didn't know why God was taking me 45:07 through that education. When God started the church in my home 38 years ago God anointed me with the Holy Spirit. 45:26 Gave me revelation on the Bible and things I'd never understood before. Began to open doors for me to minister here and there. Anointed me with his word. Then I knew 45:45 there were years of preparation that God had to take me through. Some of you are failing in that test. that you can fight and get a ministry by yourself? You can push your way forward and say 46:06 I'll get a ministry for myself. You may get some ministry. You will stand before the Lord and say Lord I did all this. The Lord will say to you go to hell. 46:25 But Lord I was part of one of the CFC churches. Yeah, I don't care for CFC. I look at your heart. I saw the pride and rebellion in your heart. Be careful brothers and sisters. 46:45 Like the Jews gloried Abraham as our father. Don't glory that you're connected to CFC. God looks at those who want to follow Jesus. Let's turn to Numbers chapter 16. 47:05 In Numbers 16 we read about Korah, Dathan, Abiram and On. Four people in verse one. You see their names. Korah Dathan Dathan and Abiram 47:30 and On. First verse. And the last one is On. Four people. Remember their names. Korah Dathan 47:47 Abiram and On. They came to Moses, four of them. Along with 250 people they gathered together. A real Lucifer ministry. They gathered 250 people. And they assembled themselves against 48:07 the authority God had placed. And they said to the elders Yeah, you think you're only holy? Everybody is holy. Verse three. Why do you exalt yourself as if you're somebody special? And Moses like a true elder brother 48:29 I always advise elder brothers to follow Moses example. Verse four, he fell on his face. I've done that many times. Say brother, I will not fight with you. The Lord will show. Verse five. 48:51 Whom he has chosen. I won't fight with you. You think you're a great person, go ahead. You can call me whatever name you like. I will not fight back. 49:10 The Lord will show whom he has chosen. The next day we read that only three people came. Verse 24, Korah, Dathan and Abiram. Korah, Dathan, Abiram Verse 24. 49:29 What happened to the other guy, On? He got some sense that that night. And he went to Korah and said, "Don't include me in this group. I'm not going to be Thank God for people who initially join 49:48 in rebellion and last minute they get some sense and pull out. He saved his life and his family. So now these three people with their 50:05 families are standing there. Moses said, "Move away from their tents." And then verse 27, they were standing near their tents. Moses said, "Depart, verse 26, from the 50:22 tents of these wicked men." 26 And so the people pulled back. And it says the earth opened up its mouth, verse 32, and swallowed all of them. They went alive to hell. 50:46 Chapter 26 Numbers 26 verse 10 opened up and swallowed Korah and the company and the 250 men who were with him. But verse 11, the sons of Korah did not 51:08 die. What happened to them? They were standing with their father and mother in the tents when Moses said Moses said, "Get away from them." And these sons of Korah I don't know whether two or three or 51:27 four, whoever they were. They said, "Dad, we are going to stand with God's man and not with you." No, God's man. Moses is God's man. 51:46 I'm very thankful for bringing me up all these years, Daddy. I want to honor you. But when you rebel against a man of God, I have to say goodbye to you. I'm going to stand with him. There are times when you have to turn 52:07 and stand against your parents. Because you stand with God and his people. So they quickly ran away. And when the earth opened up and 52:25 swallowed the others, they escaped. When you get time, you must read 11 Psalms that the sons of Korah wrote. Uh I'll tell you which those Psalms are. 52:45 You can write them down if you want. Psalm 42 up to 49 except 44, except 43 42 to 49 except 43 53:10 That is seven Psalms. 43 was written by somebody else. Then from Psalm 84 up to 87 except 86 except 86 to where 53:30 Psalm 84 to Psalm 88, sorry. Psalm 84 to 88 except 86 which was written by David. And now you see what the sons of Korah says. 53:48 Psalm 84 verse 10 Lord, one day in your court is better than a thousand outside. I would rather stand at the door of the house of 54:06 my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness with my parents. Now you get some meaning when you read these Psalms. And what he says in Psalm 42 as the deer 54:25 pants for the water, so I hunger after you. And like he says in Psalm 84, like the bird has found a a place in your altar, that's where I look for, Lord, in your Read these 11 Psalms thinking about the 54:46 background and you'll have such a meaning. Psalm 46 Psalm 46 Even if the earth shakes, we will be we will not be disturbed. God is our refuge and strength. I would have to not depart from them. 55:13 They They would not have survived if that ancestor, their father, one of the sons of Korah hadn't not stood for God. The children 55:30 The children would not even have lived. You know that when you stand for God, your children are blessed. When you rebel against authority, even your children suffer. When it comes to God's authority, 55:56 even a wife has to say to her husband, "I'm going to stand with God. If you're going to rebel against authority, I'm I want to protect myself and my children. Wives, be subject to your parents to 56:17 your husbands, but under the Lord. It's not that you blindly subject to your husband. Ephesians 5:22 What does it say? 56:36 Wives, be subject to your husbands. No, wives, be subject to your husbands as to the Lord. The Lord is above your husband. So if your husband tells you to do something against the Lord, you don't 56:54 have to listen to your husband. Children, chapter 6 verse 1 Not obey your parents. Obey your parents in the Lord. Supposing your husband tells you to bow down to an idol. Father tells you to bow down to an idol. 57:22 You do what the sons of Korah did. Dad, I love you. But the Lord is above you. You can say to your husband, "I love you, my husband." God is above you. I have to listen to God. 57:41 There is a foolish submission. Your parents tell you to marry an unbeliever. It's not the time to obey your parents when God's word says something else. Everywhere it says in the Lord, in the 58:00 Lord. You know that there is one authority above your husband and above your parents. And the only time you can in a church for you know, when you when you're married, you cannot give up your husband. You have to be with him 58:16 forever. And when you are a child, you cannot leave your home. You have to live there. But it's different in a church. In a church when you find the elders are not obeying the Lord, you don't have to rebel against them. 58:38 You don't have to rebel against them. Thank you very much. I'm leaving. You are not permitted to leave your home as a wife or a child. But you can leave a church. 58:57 Because they are not obeying God. But if you stay in that church and create rebellion, then you are following Lucifer. Then you are following Lucifer. You need to seek. Do you think when Jesus sat as a little child in 59:17 the synagogue Let's say when he was 20, 25 years old. He was a godly man in Nazareth. He's sitting in the synagogue. You you was going on well over there? But the father said, 59:37 "Your hour has not yet come to leave the synagogue." That will come. When it came, he left. Then he denounced that synagogue and they wanted to kill him. He left. He didn't stay inside and 59:54 create problems in the synagogue. That would have been the spirit of Lucifer. Where did Jesus preach? Mostly in the streets, mountains, here and there. Sometimes they preached in the synagogue and very often very soon they told him 1:00:13 to get out. He left. He didn't stand there and cause a rebellion. I've seen some brothers in our CFC churches. They got 100% the spirit of Lucifer. I tell them, "Why don't you leave the church and go and go outside if you 1:00:32 think the Lord is with you?" Why sit here and create problems? Dear brothers and sisters, godliness begins with killing the root of pride and rebellion in us. Let's pray. 1:00:53 Heavenly Father, help us to understand the truth. And to come to true godliness. Pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
