0:00 All right, let's uh let's go again into to prayer. Heavenly Father, we just come to you again. So wonderful of all the things we've heard this morning. And Lord, just ask you to continue to speak to our hearts the needful word. Lord, we love 0:16 you and praise you in Jesus name. Amen. All right. That's a picture of the Arizona desert and uh it's also the date. That's current date. So that's that's the first slide. Um does anybody remember what we were talking about three weeks ago? 0:35 Anybody remember? I do but I prepared that's why I remember. So we're talking we were talking about temples, right? So I I focused on the first temple, right? The left side temple. So I'm going to focus on the right temple this morning. Right? 0:51 That was a joke. You guys are not even smiling or laughing. So yeah, but we're talking about uh temples that the Lord had built, right? And so to recap, I asked you to keep two things in mind uh as we considered the three temples. And 1:07 this verse in John 4 that the Lord is looking for worshippers. Our heavenly father, you know, told that woman who had made such a mess of her life, I'm looking for, you know, my heavenly father is looking for worshippers. And 1:19 so we want to keep that in the back of our mind, right? what what is worship and what what is what is our father looking for? And then also, you know, keeping in mind that the best place in the world to be is in the presence of 1:30 God. And I was I was listening to the songs we were singing this morning, you know, and I hope I hope I hope this happens to you, too. You hear these verses and you're like, you hear things like, "My sin, oh, the bliss of this 1:42 glorious thought. My sin not in part but the whole is nailed to the cross and I bear it no more. And that's why we sing it as well. But then we sang another song where we said that my Lord suffered and died alone. 2:01 And then we you know I think of the a song that says like I'll never know you know what it costs to see my sin upon that cross but my Lord had to be alone. And then, you know, we were talking about, you know, just in fellowship to 2:12 be in his presence, right? How wonderful and how marvelous. So, you know, that that uh I want to keep that in the back of my mind as we we go forward. Like it's just I want to be where he is. I want to be in his presence. And then I 2:25 had like nine kind of nine thoughts as I looked at that first temple that I wanted to keep in mind and build upon those this morning. But the first was the location. And that when Abraham offered up Isaac, it was on Mount 2:38 Mariah. And that location became important way back in Genesis. So when we talk about temples, it's not just a a section of our Bible. It's more it's almost like the whole heart of the Lord going from the very beginning when he 2:50 offered when Abraham offered up Isaac. The Lord was establishing something at that place. But the timing was also important. That happened like 2,000 BC. But the temple wouldn't be built until a thousand years later. And the timing 3:03 with the Lord a thousand years is like a day but for us it's a thousand years. So his timing is also very critical to where when he builds his house and then we looked at the land purchase right where David you know purchases the uh 3:16 the threshing floor from Arona and it's offered for free to the king you're the king you can have it and this principle of David says no I can't just have it there needs to be something that costs me if I'm going to offer this to the 3:30 Lord. So that is also again same location that that first temple was going to be built. Uh that's another principle that's established there. And then you see the desire of David, you know, he's the king. He looks around 3:40 this house and he's like, "Wow, I live in comfort, you know, I have running water. I have indoor plumbing, you know, but my lord, his house, his he's out in a he's out in a tent and I'm living in luxury." And this heart and this again 3:55 will come up again today, but that's the uh that's the heart of David. I want to build a temple for the Lord, right? But the Lord says, "No, you're not going to do it. I'm not going to have you build the temple. Your son Solomon will build 4:07 the temple." And you see a reaction. There's something in each of our flesh that says, "If I'm not going to get the credit for it, I'm not going to do it." And you find zero of that in David. He says, "That's fine. It can be called 4:19 Solomon's temple. That's how people will identify it. But I'm going to make sure there's enough bronze for the nails. I'm going to make sure that the workers are trained and ready to put it together. I'm going to get as much gold and silver 4:29 as I can. Right? And you just see that heart and that desire. All that matters is that the Lord's temple is built. I don't need to get any credit. I'll do all the preparatory work and somebody else can have the credit. Right? We see 4:42 that in the reaction to the denial. And it's wonderful. And then we see the charge. And there was something beautiful that David in kind of turning over the temple to Solomon. says, "Love," basically give the Lord all your 4:55 heart and all your soul. Let it let all that be focused on him. And he said, "Do this for his glory." That's what Solomon charged uh or what David charged Solomon with. Do it with your heart and with all your soul and do it for the glory of the 5:09 Lord. So, we see something wonderful there. We also see the humility and going back to the denial when God told David that he wouldn't let David build a house for him. There's something beautiful that I think I think I miss 5:21 sometimes in reading my Bible. The Lord says, "I'm going to build a house for you. I'm going to build an eternal house for you, David. I'm not going to let you build me a house, but I'll build one for you." And it's just beautiful. And David 5:35 has this reaction and we heard it in one of the verses more like, "Who am I? Who am I that you would do that for me, Lord? That you would do anything for me is wonderful, but you would do that for me." And then finally, we see the 5:47 dedication. And this is something to keep in mind as we go forward too, right? We see just an incredible dedication. We see 120,000 sheep that are sacrificed at this dedication. And we see 22,000 oxen, right, slaughtered 6:01 and presented. And we see a fire at the dedication. The fire of the Lord comes and burns all that sacrifice up. And the glory of the Lord fills the house so much that the priests, nobody can go inside. Pretty awesome, right? Use your 6:18 imagination. Try to picture I use Robert's land as and filling it up with all these animals. You know what that would look like. But just imagine that. Pretty wonderful. So we come to the the second temple that we'll look at today. 6:28 And when I was a young man and when I was a young Christian, I used to start at Matthew and start reading my Bible. I want to I want to know my Bible. I want to know God. So I would read I would go to Matthew and I would come to pretty 6:38 early. So and so begat so and so. So and so begat so and so. Someone begat so and so, right? likeiel gets rerubable and it just like what is all this about right why is this important and then I came to this verse and it it was kind of 6:51 intriguing and you know it was a way to it was a way to memorize it's actually a learning technique right like if you think of four separate events and you have 14 generations in between each of the four then it'll be a good idea to 7:04 help you reader uh keep these things in perspective and keep the timing together and look back at history and it'll it'll encourage you to draw stuff for it and I knew like the first one in bold right I knew I knew Abraham. I knew his 7:15 importance. I knew uh David's importance, you know, from scripture. I knew enough of the Bible to know that. But that third one, I didn't know. And then, of course, the fourth one, I knew the importance of the Messiah. But that 7:25 third third one always kind of like was mysterious to me. And as I get to know my Bible more, it becomes uh more important. I, oh, I see why that's so important. And just generally, that deportation to Babylon is when the first 7:39 temple was destroyed. And when they came back from Babylon, that's when the second temple was built. Right? So this all kind of plays into that transition, you know, it plays into what we're going to talk about. So we're done talking 7:52 about the old or the first temple. It was destroyed. The Babylonians came and destroyed it. Now we're going to focus on the second temple. So that that that's the first point, right? About 586 BC, that first temple, you know, that 8:04 was so glorious in its dedication is now gone, completely destroyed. And what you find is a journey that takes place whenever that temple was destroyed. Destroyed the people were carried off into slavery into captivity in Babylon, 8:19 right? The Babylonians came and basically trashed the place and they took the people and they made them slaves in Babylon. And but what happens is there's a change and I'll come to that in a little bit. But what I want you to keep in mind are 8:32 these journeys. And the journeys are very important. And you'll notice Abraham's journey started out in the land of Er and he had to travel west by this particular journey because of the landscape to arrive in the land of 8:43 Canaan which which which again becomes very similar to the journey that the the Israelites will have to take leaving Babylon traveling that same journey and coming back to Jerusalem. And very interestingly to me is the journey that 8:57 the wise men would take to be able to bring resources to fund Jesus's trip to Israel to be able to flee. The wicked king Herod takes that same journey, right? They came from the east. Well, if you look at it, Babylon is due east of 9:12 Jerusalem. And it's very I love the way that the Lord puts his word together for us and encourages us through all of it. So, I wanted you to see that. So, we're talking about when the people came back from Babylon and they come and they 9:24 leave a place that was uh, you know, they got comfortable in the world. That's what Babylon's a picture of. And so, it was only really those that were were serious about the Lord and his temple and his land that came back. And 9:38 and something to keep in mind anytime the Lord builds anything, you know, that's his that that his house, whether they're talking about his temple, his tabernacle, his church, you know, this is the principle that unless he does it, 9:50 no matter how zealous we are as individuals, it's all in vain. He has to do the work. And I think Benoy, if you've heard his testimony of how this church started, the Lord allowed him to go through something that that made it 10:02 very clear to him, Benoi, this will not be your church. And Benoy, you can correct me if I'm wrong. And I think all of us have probably had something similar where it's uh you know the Lord says listen you're not going to get any 10:13 credit or any glory for this. If it's going to be mine I will get the credit and I will do the work. And it's pretty wonderful. So keep that in mind as we look at it and as we see that them coming back right remember the 10:24 Nebuchadnezzar and and Belarazar the Babylonian kingdom is over and there's a new kingdom that comes in the Persians and me and there's this uh king cirrus and there's very something very interesting and you see this in this 10:38 verse so these are two overlapping verses is the same verses that end the book of 2 Chronicles and begin the book of Ezra it's very interesting and in there you see this thing like When the prophet Jeremiah prophesied about what 10:51 was going to happen, it says it was the word of the Lord. Like even the prophe prophetic uh word that came was from the Lord. And it was the Lord that stirred the king. I won't read these out loud, but you can you can look in there and 11:05 you see them in the first three lines that the Lord provided the prophetic word and the Lord stirred the hearts of the king. Right? He set the things in motion and then and the king Sarah said, "Listen, go to your land. I I recognize 11:20 that the God of Jerusalem is is God and go build him a temple." And so the Lord sets the the the forces in motion. And in this world today, I think that's very important to us, right? As we look at the government, you know, the Lord can 11:33 make President Biden do whatever the Lord wants him to do. And I think we should pray for that. Those that are in authority, Lord, let your will be done through our government just like he did back here. So they go to establish that. And in 11:46 Ezra, we start to see the building of the temple. And a couple years after they arrive, they build the foundation, right? They build the foundation. And you just see rejoicing over it. You see, they're singing. They're praising. 11:58 Again, all there is is I'm picturing like a concrete slab. I don't I don't know what it looked like, but there's only a foundation. There's no walls or there's no superructure. But they decide to celebrate before it's even built. And 12:09 I see something like that. I see something wonderful about that, right? That we can we can rejoice in the Lord before it even comes to fruition. And they were doing that and they praised and they they shouted and they were 12:22 joyful when they only had a slab. And I think it's beautiful. And so, but not everybody rejoiced. In the very next word, the very next verse, we see there was an older generation. There were some old guys, old wise guys that had seen 12:38 that first temple. and they're looking at the size of the slab and they're they're weeping. They're in tears and they say, 'Oh, in my day, you should have seen the size of that first temple. This is nothing. In fact, this is sad. 12:52 It's sad what what things have become. And there's always, you know, you know, there's always a danger of looking back at the good old days and saying how wonderful things were in the good old days. And too bad it's not like that 13:03 now. And we had a memory verse back in in in February. And I don't know if you guys remember the memory verse, but this was clearly addressed. The Lord said, "Do not remember the things of old or do not recall the formal former things." He 13:17 says, "I'm going to do something new, right? I'm going to do a new thing. It's going to be like streams in the desert." And so there's there's something about that like, you know, in you know, being an American, you know, you study 13:31 American history and you hear about the you know, you hear about the great awakening in America. You hear about preachers like Jonathan Edwards and you discover that our Ivy League colleges were all designed to train ministers of 13:42 the Bible and it's easy to think, "Wow, it would have been nice to be living in those days when God was so prominent in our culture." And then we see it become more secular and we can get discouraged. Brothers and sisters, I don't believe 13:53 that's for us. Because when I look at today, I go, Lord, somehow you made it so that people from from India, Korea, and Oklahoma were all able to come together at a generation and and worship you together. That's pretty amazing. 14:11 That couldn't have happened in the 1700s, 1800s, and 1900s, but it's happening now. And so, when the Lord says, "I want to do something new," we say, "Let's do it." And and and after we're gone, you kids, after we're gone, 14:24 don't say, "Oh, it was so great back in the days of Austin CFC." Whatever the Lord is doing in your life, wherever he takes you, say, "Lord, you do new things, and I want to be part of the new things you do." That should always be 14:35 our attitude. But there's this discouragement and opposition that comes uh very often, right? Well, it's not like that. It's not like that. And the Lord's going to bring it up again. But for now, we just see that he, you know, 14:47 the Lord's building the house and we see something. What happened is they built the foundation and then like 16 years had passed and they just kind of stopped building. And you see a prophet come, Haggi, I'm I'm skipping around, but this 15:00 is in Haggi. And he says something similar to what David concluded on his own. Remember David when building that first temple, he said, "I live in a palace and the Lord lives in a a tent. The ark is out in a tent." And Haggi has 15:15 to come to the people and say,"Listen, you guys are very comfortable in your your panled houses, right? You're you're very comfortable, but what about the Lord's house?" And I believe this is also a word for every generation. I 15:26 think all of us come to this point where, you know, Lord, I've been so focused on my own life. I've been f focused on my career, my job, my family. What about you? And there should be a a heart shift towards the church. But Lord, how do you 15:41 get glory? I've been focused on me and and and then things that impact me, but is there something of you and your people that I should be concerned about? And it's good when there's a prophetic word that brings that. And the Lord is 15:54 so good. I want you to see his goodness here. I put in bold, consider your ways. In other words, the Lord is saying, "Hey, I want you to really think about this. I want you to think about everything that you work for in your 16:05 life. And I'm telling you, I'm messing it up. I'm messing it up. I'm making I'm making all your work, you know, it he used descriptive languages here. You're not satisfied. And even the things that you think you're accomplishing, they're 16:21 coming to nothing. And why is that, right? And he allows that. I thank I thank God for the the failures he allowed in my life because it kept me from settling on different things. I kept searching because the Lord allowed 16:35 failure failure in my life. And he says that, right? And he's saying, "Look at look at you guys. You returned from Babylon, you know, you you laid a foundation. You at one point you were rejoicing over the foundation and then 16:46 what happened? You you got focused on these other things and they were a distraction. So I I made them fail because I love you. I made those things fail in your life. He's so good. And he says, you know, I blew it away. And he's 16:59 he's saying and brothers and sist I know your testimonies, many of your testimonies. And it is this like once I let go of my life and doing things my way and I focused on the Lord's house, you know, everything kind of fell into 17:15 place. I had something that I was lacking. I saw it, right? And that's what David did. I believe the happiest years of David's life was when he was doing all that preparation. The focus was no longer on his his world as king. 17:27 It was on the Lord's temple. And he was so excited about all the work. I imagine David had to do a lot of work to accumulate talents and talent like tens of thousands of talents of silver and gold. And I believe it was in the best 17:38 times and he wasn't focused on himself. He was focused on the work of the Lord. And there's something in all of us that that that the Lord will say, "Okay, you know, you're focused on these things. You think they're going to make you 17:47 happy, but if you'll take your mind off those, I'm I'm I've been purposefully letting them fail. Will you focus on my church? Will you focus on my house instead of your life?" And you see the joy that comes from it. And I think you guys, many of you guys 18:02 have that testimony in your own life. And you see something wonderful in the in the next few verses in Haggi, right? And again, it was one of those principles that we said, you know, to be in the presence of the Lord is 18:15 wonderful. And so you see this, you know, it was hard. They didn't have all the wealth they had when, you know, in Solomon's day, Israel wasn't the the wealthy kingdom. It is. And it's something like, you know, it's it's like 18:26 from being part of America to now being a third world country. You don't have all the resources that that you did. You can't slaughter 120,000 sheep. They you just don't have them, right? But the Lord says, listen, you have the most 18:40 important thing. I am with you. And brothers and sisters, I'm coming to more and more that place in my life where all I need, even if it's a trial, even if it's even if it's hard, the one thing I need to know is that he's with me. And 18:55 remember Jesus said that, right? I am with you always, even to the end of the age. I think that was our member verse today, right? I'm with you always, even to the end of the age. Do you you know do we recognize what a privilege that is 19:09 that the one who was forsaken on the cross and was died alone says that's not going to happen to you. Yeah there'll be trials. Yeah it might be rough sometimes but I'll be there with you. What a privilege. I don't deserve that. I ran from him. 19:26 He says I'll be with you. So in 5:16 it's completed right the second Tim the second Tim uh temple is built about 70 years after. So the time of the captivity, the second temple is built and the Lord actually addresses what's 19:41 in their heart this time, right? Remember 16 years ago when the foundation was built, those old-timers were crying about how it wasn't as glorious as the first. And the Lord addresses it 16 years later once it's built, he says, "So, so what do you guys 19:56 think of this? What's going through your hearts? What's on your mind? What do you think of this little bitty tiny temple? Are you disappointed in it? And he tells two this time and we see something wonderful about this, right? In in in 20:09 David's day, it was just David. In Solomon's day, it was just Solomon. We're seeing something wonderful in that he's now addressing two of them. He says, "Hey, be encouraged, Zerubbable. Be encouraged, Joshua." Right? Don't get discouraged. Everybody 20:23 else is trying to, you know, to discourage you. Hey, you know, you're just a couple families meeting together. You're not a church. We see what a church looks like. They have these grand buildings. All you guys have are two 20:34 families joining together. And the Lord says, "Don't get discouraged. Take courage." It may be just two families, but I'm there. I'm with you. So, it's two families and me. Again, that's all you guys need. So, just because it's small, don't despise it, 20:51 right? And we see something wonderful about the dedication. Now, remember the numbers, 120,000, 22,000. So here's they dedicate this little bitty temple and they have 100 bulls, 200 rams, 400 lambs, 12 male goats. Not quite the 21:08 celebration that we saw in the first Oh, not quite the uh the thing that we saw in the first temple, right? So uh you know again that that temptation to get discouraged, especially you know people that have seen something much better. 21:24 But the Lord says be encouraged. Take courage. you know, I'm there. And the most important thing about where they were right then is is who they were. And in the next verses, we see that we see that each of them, even though it was 21:37 just a small group, and even though it was just a small little temple, the most important thing was that they were pure, right? That the leaders purified themselves and that they were pure and that the the people were pure. So, it's 21:51 small, but it was pure. And it's not important whether there's 10 people in Austin CFC or there's 10,000 people that it doesn't matter. The Lord can the Lord can worry about the numbers. But it is important that each one of them are 22:06 pure. It's very important. The Lord looks at the how pure the organization is, the community is, not how great it is. And we see that very clearly. And he said, and you know, and again, you just see something that kind of challenges us on 22:23 that because we we're so prone to the world's thinking that we think, oh, it'll be glorify the Lord if it's it's great. If many many many people come, that will be what the Lord wants. That'll be what will bring honor to his 22:35 name. And the Lord says, nope. The most important thing is that whoever gathers in my name are pure in their heart. And he says, I'm going to shake the nations. says, "I'm gonna um" He says, "The silver is mine and the gold is mine. 22:51 Everything is mine. The stimulus checks are mine. Everything belongs to the Lord." And he says, "I'm going to shake the nations." And you see something incredible here. He says, and I put it in bold because I wanted to point it 23:03 out. He says, "The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former." And again, keep in mind what we just saw, right? We see people lamenting because it's so small. We see two a comparison of two celebrations of the first temple that 23:18 was incredible and we see the second temple uh not so not so big. But the Lord says something that's very interesting here and something that I I kind of caught on and I want to I want to share with you guys. He says that 23:32 this second temple will be more glorious than the first. Well, how is that? And I believe there's two senses where this is true. One of one of them is a worldly sense and one of them is a divine sense, a spiritual sense. And I'll explain what I mean in 23:50 Haggi. He also says there's something you guys need to keep in mind when we talk about purity. And he uses the example. He says, "If I have a dirty fork and I touch clean food, does the food become dirty?" They say, "Yeah, of 24:02 course." You know, if you have something that's contaminated with germs and you touch it to something else, then that now has germs. And he says, "Well, what if I take a clean fork and I touch it to dirty food? does the food become clean? 24:11 They're like, "No, it doesn't work that way." And he's like, "That's the same with you." It says, "If you're unclean and you build my house, that house becomes unclean." And we see again the importance of purity, right? So, the most important 24:26 thing, brothers and sisters, if we want to do anything for the Lord is make sure that we're pure. And then I'm going to go to Wikipedia. You didn't expect that, did you? You expected a Bible verse, but I thought Wikipedia put this really 24:37 well. And to paraphrase it, it said what happened is when Herod the Great, do you remember Herod the Great? Anybody? Does that ring a bell with anybody? I mentioned him earlier, right? When Herod the Great took over that second temple, 24:49 he refurbished it. You know, he did a home improvement project. He was the Chuck of the day, right? He comes in and he he refurbishes this temple. Only in the refurbishment sense, Chuck, not not the not your character of Herod, right? 25:03 He comes in and this guy makes it great, right? If you read this, you know, he overhauls it. He he makes it grand. So, in a sense, he makes this and and from what I understand, from the time that this temple was destroyed, it was still 25:18 being renovated. It was still being made more and more glorious in the world's eyes. But Herod was not clean. Herod was the first person besides Satan to try to destroy Jesus when he was a baby. This was the guy that ordered all the kids 25:33 under two years old to be killed. Not exactly pure, is he? Kind of a defiled work, isn't it? When he builds up this temple into something great. And I thought of this parable. It's kind of hard to understand, but I think it I I 25:47 think I understand it once I look at that second temple. And I look and I and I start to understand more of the heart of God. Talks about a mustard seed. And it says that it starts out small. You know, like when we have faith as a 26:00 mustard seed is another parable. But he says when it grows up into a tree, there's a problem now that the birds of the air come in and nest in its branches. And that's what happened with that second temple, isn't it? And we're going 26:12 there. Don't get ahead of me. That's what that's what's that's what's going to happen. But in other words, something starts small and when it's pure, it's great. If it's big and pure, it's great. But what happens is a tendency when 26:23 something grows, it tends to become impure. And I think you all know examples of that in your life. In Christianity, the focus is purity, brothers and sisters. And we see Jesus. Look at this answer. We're in the New Testament now. And the disciples come to 26:38 Jesus and they're looking at what Herod built and they're like, "Jesus, check it out. Isn't this awesome?" You see the the prophecy in Hagi coming true. Check it out. Look what Herod did. Look at this amazing temple. It's beautiful, 26:53 isn't it? You know Jesus' reaction? it's also going to be destroyed. He's not impressed. Our Lord's not impressed. He's impressed with purity. He's not impressed with greatness. And he says, you know, basically in a word 27:10 like, no, I don't know which disciple it was, but I see that in myself, right? I want to be a disciple. And sometimes I ask questions like this, Lord, isn't this great? Isn't it wonderful everything that's happening? And 27:21 sometimes he says, no, it's not going to last. Oh, okay. Well, can you redirect me to that which will last? And then if you read the parallel patches, this is in Mark. If you read a parallel passage in Luke of when this 27:35 this conversation happens, here's what happens next. Jesus enters the temple, the second temple. Jesus goes in and remember the parable of the mustard seed and the the birds coming and nesting in the branches. He comes in and he flips over 27:52 some tables and he drives it out. When it was small, it was a house of prayer. You guys were excited about what the Lord was doing back in the day. But over time, and as it became bigger, you guys missed something. And now it's become a 28:07 place of commerce. Now it's about business. It's not about the holiness of the Lord. It's about making money. And if we can get more money, we can expand Herod's temple and make it even greater in the world's eyes. Jesus is not 28:19 impressed. I think uh I think that's an understatement when you see his reaction. And it's it's the only time that I'm aware of that he acted like this. And you just start to say like, "Lord, am I off? Is my value system off? 28:34 Lord, give me your value system." Right? So he flips it over. But last or last slide before I recap, there's something wonderful that I want you to see. Remember how I said that the glory of that second temple would be better than 28:51 the glory of the first. Remember the the first temple, you know, the Lord's uh the the the glory of the Lord filled the temple and it was amazing and I imagine it was quite a sight. But this temple, something more glorious than that 29:04 happened and you're seeing it in these verse. Jesus every day taught in that temple. The glory of the Lord filled that temple in the person of Christ. And it says that people were hanging on to every word that he said. And I 29:21 believe this verse fulfills that prophecy, right? What was the difference? Why was the second temple Josh? Why was it so much better than the first? One word, Jesus. Jesus was there. That makes all the difference. The presence of Jesus in that temple made it 29:39 far more glorious than the, you know, the f the sensational fantastic story that you read of in Chronicles. Jesus makes the difference. And so this second temple is actually far more glorious because of this. And it will be 29:53 destroyed. And we'll talk about that next time as we go to the third temple, but we'll recap for now. So here's what here's what I want you to take away from it. that the second temple was built as the people returned from Jerusalem. And 30:06 if I were to sum up the whole message this morning, it's this, that small and pure is better and more pleasing to God than greatness that is defiled. Right? Herod built a wonderful temple, but Herod wasn't exactly a wonderful 30:25 follower of Christ. Right? And so we see something uh we see something of the heart of God of what he appreciates. And again I want his value system not mine. And we also see that the most important thing is that God is in our presence. 30:40 Right? They shall call his name Emanuel. Right? Like his he will be with us. God will be with us. It said that Jesus came and he tabernacled among us. How wonderful was it to have God in your presence in in in Jesus. It was 30:54 wonderful. And again, we're not we're not done there. I don't want to get ahead of myself and go to the third temple. But we see that the great temple, second temple was also destroyed just like the first one was. And then we 31:05 answer this question, why was the second temple greater than the first temple? And it's a very simple answer, isn't it? Because of Jesus.
