boldness into the presence of our father with confidence 25:05 clothed in the righteousness of Jesus we can come just as we are step into the light but we also come with a responsibility, a burden 25:25 that we must bring a sacrifice of praise that's due unto our Lord and King for all that he's done the Bible encourages us to sing with thankfulness in our hearts to glorify the Lord to lift up a throne of praise 25:48 have willing hearts ascribe greatness to our God the rock his work is perfect all his ways are just 26:08 he's a God of faithfulness and without injustice there's no greater name than Jesus the name above all names the only name in which there is salvation in that saving name of Jesus 26:30 every knee should bow at the precious name of Jesus every heart every heart should sing brothers and sisters draw every distracted thought and just come and fall down before the face of the Lord and thank him think about his goodness 26:51 his great mighty saving power say Lord I want to be in that number that sings to you that gives thanks to you that gives praise to you because you're worthy it's not just what we do on Sunday it's through our faith 27:12 it's through our hope it's through our love but this is our opportunity to open our mouths brothers and sisters give thanks and praise to our God and King let's do that let's lift up our voices lift up our hearts thank and praise the Lord 27:31 because he is good his love endures forever he is above all things he is God who is in control yes Lord we praise you we thank you we give you praise Lord you're perfect Lord in all your ways all your ways are just Lord 27:51 your righteousness endures Lord your wisdom and truth shine like the sun Lord your glory is seen and all of us must acknowledge you've done all things well Lord you're a God a faithful God a loving God a compassionate God 28:06 we praise you Lord we thank you that you've had mercy on us Lord great is your faithfulness great is your mercy morning by morning Lord it's new for us we thank you we praise you we want to come to you Lord give you glory 28:20 and give you praise and honor Lord and prepare our hearts and minds to receive the truth that you have kept for us Lord you alone are worthy of praise yes Lord thank you Lord thank you Lord we want to take this opportunity 28:37 and thank you and praise you Lord you've been so so good to us Lord so merciful you've given us every good thing Lord every spiritual blessing even today you have a banquet Lord prepared for us we want to believe that Lord 28:52 come to your banqueting table as your banner over us is love Lord you know all our ways and your love for us and yours we come at ourselves into your hands we pray in your mighty name Jesus please be seated brothers and sisters 29:21 let's pay attention to the memory verses let's say it together so that this can remain in our hearts and minds the Holy Spirit can bring it back in a time of need last week's memory verse was a promise let's say it together 29:43 Matthew 6 22 the eye is the lamp of the body so if your eye is clear your whole body will be full of light Amen and this week's 30:06 verse is a command 1 Corinthians chapter 6 verse 20 you have been bought with a price therefore glorify God in your body let's say that 30:27 once again 1 Corinthians chapter 6 verse 20 you have been bought with a price therefore glorify God in your body Amen so brothers and sisters 30:49 let's have a heart and ears to hear what the Lord has to speak to us we want to hear from brother John the burden that's on his heart it's our privilege brother John please come up and share it's our privilege 31:18 to look at God's word God in his mercy has given his word which will help us to see Jesus better just would like to repeat this memory verse 1 Corinthians chapter 6 verse 20 you have been 31:38 bought you have been bought with a price that's that's something which we should never forget any time all those who are born again their joy of their life the inspiration for our life 31:58 is that we have been bought with a price that's the blood of Jesus Christ Jesus himself it says Jesus gave himself that's a high price Jesus is valued above everything else 32:18 in heaven that's why Jesus said all authority has been given in heaven also on earth therefore we have a responsibility we have a responsibility to yield ourselves here it 32:39 says body not only body our soul our spirit our time our energy everything we have an obligation to yield ourselves nothing else we may do so many things in this world but our 32:59 main calling is like Jesus said all authority is given to me but what you should do go and make disciples and if I have to make disciple I have to be disciple I can be an example of being 33:21 a disciple for that I need tremendous grace to be a disciple last week we were hearing about hope you remember that we were called to be disciples Moses was a wonderful example of being a disciple I would 33:42 like to turn to a verse in Hebrews chapter 11 see it says by faith by faith by faith but it says about Moses also verse 23 by faith by faith Moses was a disciple then 34:04 what is the inspiration for us by faith I can be a disciple disciple of Jesus verse 39 these all these by faith they were examples 34:24 having gained approval through their faith did not receive what was promised because God had provided something better for us so that apart from us they would not be made perfect then we have an example here 34:44 since we have so great a cloud of witnesses let let let us run with endurance fixing our eyes on Jesus this is our calling brothers and sisters we should never forget why we have 35:05 a church in other words Jesus is building his church Jesus said I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it that is the church he is building but Jesus also said go and make disciples and when 35:24 people's hearts are converted to being a disciple and Jesus is looking around whose heart is said to become disciple and Jesus picks that it's like when we build a building a 35:46 brick brick need to undergo fiery treatment like it has to be compressed and heated and well prepared it's good quality brick and then builder will pick that and put it into the building that's how Jesus said when a heart 36:05 is converted to be a disciple then Jesus picks that heart and builds his church that is what happening here that's why it's very important that we are in the church church is not Sunday gathering or yeah of course under 36:23 gathering the church gathers our disciples gather and those whom Jesus is building gather and then Jesus is speaking to us through his spirit his presence is very much here I would like to read a verse the burden which God 36:42 had in Leviticus chapter 26 last past last couple of weeks I was thinking about this verse verse 13 I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt 37:02 so that there is a responsibility why there is a purpose there was a purpose and there is a purpose the Lord God has brought us out of the land of Egypt that means in the Old Testament that was a place physical place but 37:22 in the new covenant is the place of death and slavery we were brought from there in fact we were bought we were bought with the high price Jesus had to pay that price and then we were redeemed we were released from that 37:41 slavery from that Egypt so that you would not be their slaves we were slaves now we are not slaves 2nd Corinthians 5 17 says now we are a new creation that means I was a slave now I am not supposed to be slave and 38:02 I broke the bars of your yoke I had to do that God says I had to do that I had to break that I had to pay the price to break that bars which was heavy on your necks and made you walk erect 38:23 that God that is the calling which is inspiring brothers and sisters when I read this Lord thank you very much that you paid the price and it cost you lot but now you are asking me to walk erect 38:43 maybe I would like to read that verse in living Bible living Bible says like this Leviticus 26 verse 13 yeah I want you to walk 39:03 upright maybe I think some of the translation I saw that I think message Bible it says freely slavery so that your slavery so that you can move about freely and living Bible another translation 39:23 says I have broken your chains so that you can walk with dignity this is what I was thinking we are supposed to walk with dignity now if I am not a disciple see like I am called to be disciple I 39:44 am called to walk in dignity in this evil world I have a slippery side all around and there is an inclination and the pressure from inside pressure from outside to go into that slavery what happens if I go into slavery then 40:01 again I am bent down my back is bent my heads are down that that the whole world is kind of bound by earth earth bound but Jesus has come and released us so that we can walk 40:21 with dignity we walk erect our heads lifted up but Lord I am not able to do that many times I pressure is so much I am bent we see that throughout the scriptures people of God they were bent again 40:41 and again and again then one prophet has to come and encourage them even we see in the new testament also there is a challenge brothers and sisters I'm increasingly I'm finding Lord how can I walk with dignity before 41:02 your eyes walk erect without being a disciple and it is not possible at all if I am not a disciple I will not receive grace from God to walk erect which is very very important that is why the Lord has 41:22 given us a church I am increasingly finding Lord I want to go to meet with brothers and sisters those who are walking with dignity I would like to spend some time with them and those who are receiving grace those who are 41:39 walking in your statues Lord I want to learn I want my heart to be burning to follow you Lord I want to look at you how did you do that see that is our calling brothers and sisters Ephesians 1 18 Paul had that burden to 41:58 the church we have seen many times this verse Ephesians Ephesians Ephesians 1 18 you had a burden I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that you know what is the hope of your calling your calling is to 42:16 walk it with dignity but we may think that I'm okay brother I'm okay but we have not seen our own condition properly there are so many areas it's not that I come on Sunday I feel good about it but no what is happening from 42:33 Monday to Saturday that is what Paul was concerned about I think chapter 2 verse 1 you are dead you are there in slavery but formerly you walked according to the you were slave of this world according to the prince of the 42:51 power of the air yes he was controlling your flesh had so much power to bend you down every now and then your eyes were not erect your eyes were lusting and desiring and your eyes were filled with fear and anxiety and worries 43:11 I have released you not to walk in with these worries and cares of the world no I have given you new life so that you can walk erect oh brother there will be a financial problem and still you can walk erect brother there 43:28 is a family problem of family pressures still you can walk erect brother there is problem in work still you can walk erect you don't have to bend down you don't have to be like we saw that disciples pressure of society pressure 43:49 of relatives you can still walk erect pressure of self still walk erect you are supposed to be walking erect with dignity oh what to do brother we need so many things we need to have possessions we need money we need facilities 44:09 yes but Jesus said no you are not supposed to bend down to anything Jesus gave a secret seek his kingdom and his righteousness and all this will be added to you in other words if I use it reverently it will fall at your 44:29 feet it will come through the Lord will do it that's what Jesus manifested so we are not supposed to walk that way but God being rich in mercy because of his great love with which he loved us even when we were dead in trespasses 44:46 and he gave us life placed us in Christ that is the dignity God is talking about when I see the calling I feel Lord I am so weak I am so weak I want to be a disciple you know we are all called 45:07 to be disciples when we see our own condition our own weakness we say Lord somebody teach me somebody teach me somebody help me that drives us to come to church or rather see we can hear messages yes we should hear messages 45:26 when we come here we can have fellowship of with those who are walking erect with dignity so that will drive us to come to be part of the church see here brother Zach had burden brother Ian they had a burden every 45:46 time when they spoke they spoke that we will be better disciples better followers of Jesus that means we fix our eyes on Jesus oh there is a lot of distractions yes there will be distractions every time people came together 46:01 they encouraged and challenged edified us to fix our eyes on Jesus so that we can walk erect despite of in fact the few weeks back we were listening the Brasac was expressing how he was so kind of prompted to live a simple 46:20 life so that he doesn't yield himself to pressures of financial difficulties yeah they went through financial difficulties brother Ian for that matter six children six children and you had to live in one bedroom house maybe 46:38 about 25 years they were living they could have gone they could have gone and got better job and better facilities there were that was available but they want to stick to God's calling of walking with dignity not to go somewhere 46:55 and be enslaved to some system they were fighting against the system and they wanted to walk before God in dignity that's what happened with Moses Moses could have lived a comfortable life then he felt no I don't have dignity 47:14 I'm supposed to live like a child of God and he sought after dignity but he was not weak at the age of 40 he was an expert you know brothers and sisters if I am not a disciple you know what I am if you 47:34 are not a disciple what you are you are a master I am a master that's what we were in the world we were masters kept on doing what I want to do Jesus said no you cannot be master I am the master you come and become disciple 47:54 if you are a master you will be slave of Satan in fact let's turn to Matthew chapter 4 Matthew chapter 4 verse 48:17 verse 8 devil took him to a high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory and said to him all these things I will give you if you fall down and worship me see there is a shortcut but Jesus 48:37 said something wonderful because Jesus was a disciple he had set his eyes on the father go Satan for it is written you shall worship the Lord your God and serve him only see his eyes were 48:57 clean his eyes were open Jesus said that's why unless you are born again you cannot see the kingdom of God that's very important brothers and sisters we can be blinded to think that oh okay brother what to do brother that 49:14 kind of a thing no Jesus said if you want to walk in dignity you have to your eyes should be open to see the kingdom of heaven properly that means king sitting on the throne and being a disciple that is very very essential 49:30 if I am not a disciple I am a master I keep on doing what I want to do I am a master to my own myself and then a way seems right to a man but it leads to destruction we should not forget that and one more verse 49:51 I would like to read in 2 Corinthians chapter 4 we should not forget that Satan knows us we may think that I know better but Satan knows us far better than ourselves we don't know ourselves that's why we come to scriptures 50:08 to see ourselves see Moses was so kind of an expert at the age of 40 he was expert in words and deeds and he was okay but God took him to wilderness for 40 years and 50:28 after 40 years he was not having any confidence in himself and he was a disciple he was a weak person he was the humblest man why he was a humblest man he recognized I am not able to even speak even 50:49 to speak Lord said I just tell you the words you just say that Moses says Lord I don't know maybe better Aaron comes with me to speak see that's how Paul was 2nd Corinthians 12 10 says when I'm weak I'm strong 51:09 that's what Paul was Paul was a disciple let the Lord inspire us to become disciple we have a calling to be disciple then and then one more verse I was thinking Matthew 16 sorry let let let me let me finish this 2nd 51:29 Corinthians 4 4 so in whose case the God of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ who who is who is who is the image of God that means 51:43 he will blind us from Jesus then brother no it works for Jesus brother we may not say that brother it may work for brother Ian it may work for brother Zach but somehow it is not working for me brother see he is blinded with the worries 52:01 and cares of the world then I don't realize that I have to be a disciple I have to fix my eyes on Jesus I was thinking about brother Ian as I was saying see brother Ian had to take a step and come out and then be a disciple 52:18 he said I will be with brother Zach even though he was despised put out but he said I will take a step he came out by faith and he had six children and then he didn't have a job but he had 52:38 to do a business then he was doing business with six children very less income and then church responsibility and never seen brother Ian shrink back from any responsibility in the church and every time he stood 52:58 at the pulpit he had an anointing and the word grace was found in his business in taking care of the home I could see a weak brother who is supported by God's grace that is what happens 53:19 to a disciple a disciple is someone who is held by God even brother Zach I can tell you about that see God's people they were held by God through Moses law came but we have a better 53:39 example Jesus Jesus was held by grace he grew in grace all of us have a kind of a privilege to live under grace of God but we have to be humble means humbly become disciple disciple is a humble 53:59 person why Moses was a disciple he was a humble person that means he realized that I am capable of being a master to my own and I do my own thing and I am corrupt totally but if I become a disciple and learn from Jesus that's 54:18 what happened when I look at every time I looked at brother Ian a man who is living under the grace of God that's why he was weak every time I speak to him I spoke to a humble brother very weak who wants to learn see you 54:38 know that spirit of a disciple is I want to learn is there a better way brother tell me see many times brother Ian speaking to me there's a big difference but brother Ian listening to me I was saying oh he is a classic example 54:55 of a disciple that's what we are inspired or we are called to be a disciple that's what that's what Jesus was saying if you you are not a disciple you will not know the truth John 8 31 he said if you know my word you are 55:12 my disciple and you will know the truth and truth will set you free so it's a process brothers what I'm trying to inspire is oh lord help us to become a better disciple help me to become a better disciple lord I want to 55:28 have that hunger and thirst like a sponge trying to absorb lord I want to learn when I open the scriptures I want to see Jesus I want to learn how to walk let's turn to Mark chapter 14 I was very 55:48 blessed to hear that this morning Matthew chapter Matthew chapter 14 verse 27 we have a wonderful spiritual lesson here but immediately Jesus spoke to them 56:08 they were disciples on the boat on the sea and they saw somebody walking on the sea they were terrified they thought it's a ghost but Jesus spoke to them saying take courage it is I do not be afraid 56:28 verse 28 Peter said to him Lord if it is you come on me to come to you on the water see it's the heart of a disciple oh Lord it's you oh you can do it Lord can I do it how can I do it Jesus 56:48 said then come and Peter got out of the boat and walked on water came towards Jesus you know why he went toward Jesus he fixed his eyes on Jesus Jesus if you can do it will you please give me grace if Lord you can 57:09 give grace to brother Zach and brother Ian can you give me that grace so that brother Ian had to manage his business and family and the church responsibility and I never saw him under pressure and he was under anointing 57:27 so we could get into pressure but brother Ian was under anointing so that's what happens here Peter was saying oh I'll walk I'll look at you I want to do that see he fixed his eyes on Jesus and walked and Jesus said come 57:45 even today Jesus says you disciple come come and follow me you don't drown but here verse 30 but seeing the wind see he got distracted this is what Satan is trying to do he is trying to distract us from 58:05 fixing our eyes he will bring many things around our life and maybe children students be careful about distractions or attractions he will bring some attractions and distractions somehow he wants you to take off your eyes 58:24 from Jesus then what happens he became frightened and beginning to sink and cried out Lord save me praise the Lord that's the repentance he cried out let us have that cry Lord I want to I want to be saved it's this 58:44 situation circumstances pressure is trying to sink me maybe I have difficulty at home with my wife children children are going through so many things so I get calls from many brothers and sometimes sisters that the pressures 58:59 in the home can sink us down so what we are supposed to do we walk with dignity as long as we fix our eyes on Jesus we can walk over that sea but but if we take off our eyes we sink Peter started beginning 59:20 to sink immediately Jesus realized he cried out and first Jesus pulled him out first verse 31 says immediately Jesus stretched out his hand and took hold of him and said to him you of little faith why did you doubt you 59:40 know this is our problem brothers see we once we take off our eyes our faith is gone down then all the water of the world can soak us so we may come to church when 1:00:01 we come to church to have fellowship we come to have fellowship with the fire with the light so that whatever soaking we got we drenched in the water it should be dried and when we can lift up our heads and walk erect 1:00:21 when we all go out we are supposed to walk erect walk with dignity not to fear the pressures of the world that that's a disciple that's what happened see the world is trying to attack our faith I speak to 1:00:41 some brothers brother we got into this and this this this this so many things finally what is the result the faith has gone down the fear has come that that's what satan is doing no we are not supposed to see it's not that 1:00:56 God will take take out of all the problems no not really so I would like to see the example of Jesus that is in Matthew 16 what Jesus said Matthew 1:01:19 16 verse 23 this you know Jesus told Peter Peter you are setting your mind on the earth earthly interest see this is after Jesus was saying that I'm 1:01:39 going through so many situations which I'm going to face the way I'm going to die but Peter was more concerned about his life but then Jesus told get behind me Satan it's a voice of Satan oh let's compromise let's 1:02:00 compromise let's yield that's the voice which comes from Satan that's the voice which can come don't be disciple it's okay you can compromise you can sign this you don't like children oh okay you can cheat it's okay you 1:02:18 can mix with your friends no that's the voice of Satan I have to set my eyes on Jesus interests of God what is the interest of God God's interest is that I'll be a disciple then verse 16 sorry John 16 1:02:38 John 16 what Jesus is saying here these things I have spoken to you so that in me you may have peace you know that's comforting word brothers and sisters as long as we fix our eyes on Jesus we will have peace and that's 1:02:58 in the world you will have tribulation it will be there it's not that we will be taken out of all the problems no problems will be there but take courage I overcome the world by grace by the help of the Holy Spirit being 1:03:13 disciple and then Jesus said come to me in Matthew 11 I would like to read come to me who are heavy laden and I will give you rest take my yoke and learn from me see this is the phrase of a disciple means the 1:03:34 master is saying learn from me that's the calling brothers and sisters we have to be we have to have a mind of a disciple mind of a disciple to follow Jesus then only we will be able to learn from Jesus that's what Jesus 1:03:50 is saying take my yoke that means Jesus is saying my yoke is not heavy so my yoke is easy and my burden is light I'm going to put anything heavy on you 1 Corinthians 10 13 you will never be tested beyond your ability see 1:04:07 God has a control over everything if you are going through some situation now God thinks that you can handle it it's like children going to school if they are in fifth standard they have gone to fifth standard because they 1:04:22 are able to handle that's why that's how God sees once I'm a disciple everything comes across my life is designed by God allowed by God permitted by God based on the capacity like the knob the controlling knob 1:04:43 is in God's hand if I'm a disciple if I'm not a disciple what happens I keep on doing what I want to do I'm a master Jesus says I can't have control over any of your situation we get into problem that's what happened some 1:04:57 brothers I have seen over the years some are not here in the church they have gone off the track and kept on doing what they want to do and then oh what to do brother what to do brother they got discouraged faith is gone 1:05:11 and they lost sight and some I'm afraid that they lost faith lost salvation that's possible that's why being a disciple is very important we are a church we want disciples to come and those who are not disciples we want 1:05:30 them to become disciples I want to be disciple that's why I long to come to church I want to remain in the church if I am not in the church I am doomed I wouldn't have survived if I am not among the godly minded disciples 1:05:44 I would have lost out I would have got distracted seeing this and that and lost my faith but I am preserved we have to preserve our see Jesus had 12 disciples they were walking with him let's see one example I would like 1:06:02 to close with this example of John 13 it's a wonderful example of Jesus that's how Jesus walked John 13 maybe I would like to read verse 15 first verse 15 says I 1:06:24 gave you an example that you also should do as I did to you what did Jesus do Jesus is saying you are disciples I have given you an example follow what is the example was one now before the feast of the Passover Jesus 1:06:44 knowing that his hour has come he would depart see there is clarity that he would die he also knew that how he would die see that more than the death he will be separated from the father see there was a tremendous 1:07:05 kind of pressure in his heart and moreover was too during supper the devil having already put into the heart of Judas his son of Simon to betray him see another agony see one side he is going to depart and more so 1:07:26 that he will be separated from the father but the other more painful thing was that my disciple I try to help him all these three and half years and I'm so sad grieved that he's going to betray me 1:07:46 see if we were in that situation we would be scheming or we may get discouraged distracted diverted would have been very big challenge but verse three such a wonderful example but Jesus knowing that the 1:08:06 father had given all things into his hands see Jesus was not looking at these things even though they were real realities which he was seeing this earth but Jesus eyes were set on the father it's it's completely 1:08:26 different way of living this is how disciple lives like Jesus said in Matthew 5 8 blessed are the pure in heart they shall see God there are problems will be there let it be no problem I don't fix my eyes on that but I fix 1:08:44 see he fixed his eyes on the father what's the result in he had come forth from God and was going back to God see that's such a security in his heart he is a wonderful example we can walk with that dignity Jesus 1:09:05 Jesus had dignity he stood before Pilate and said you don't have authority over me you may think but I'm not of this world I don't fight for these things such a dignity because he has set his eyes on the father and we have 1:09:22 to set our eyes on Jesus now what is the example of Jesus Jesus it's okay it's okay I am fully secured in the father and then he got up from supper and laid aside his garments and taking the towel he girded himself to serve 1:09:40 the church brothers and sisters I have been a believer for about 30 years what I observed is despite of all the situation brothers and sisters godly brothers and sisters who are disciples have served the church if I 1:10:00 have also come across brothers and sisters or brothers particularly a brother struggling brother this job situation brother this home situation brother this one that after that I'll be free brother they don't even have time 1:10:15 to read scriptures or encourage others they think that there will be a time which comes then I'll be okay my circumstances will be okay then I can give myself to the church I'm sorry such time will never come Jesus didn't 1:10:32 get that kind of a situation at all Paul didn't get none none of the godly brothers whom I know didn't get all the nice circumstances no no no see it's a battle this will be there till the end of our life but despite of 1:10:47 that we walk with dignity when we walk with dignity the Lord will give us the strength see I would like to just mention quickly this verse in 1 Corinthians chapter 14 1 Corinthians chapter 14 it says about prophesying 1:11:07 verse 3 one who prophesies speaks to men for edification and exhortation and consolation so these three things just keep this in mind I would like to go back to John 13 verse 5 then he poured water into the basin and 1:11:29 began to wash the disciples feet and to wipe them with a towel I saw it like this last week I was reading this see who are the brothers and sisters washing the feats of others or spirits of others they 1:11:50 are trying to build the church those who have a burden for others here Jesus had a burden for disciples he wanted to encourage them he didn't want them to be distracted or discouraged but he took the water and poured it 1:12:06 in the vessel and also to their feet I saw it as here it says first those who prophesize what edification pouring the water is like edification and then he he washed washed is like a scrubbing 1:12:26 sometimes somebody needs a scrubbing you need to pour water and scrubbing that is like exhortation and then consolation then he took the bucket towel and wiped it see this is the ministry many brothers and sisters are engaged 1:12:46 in those who have fixed their eyes on Jesus and disciples they are having that grace to do that despite of their situation circumstances there are challenges around that's okay fine but the thing is they are looking at Jesus 1:13:01 and they have been used that's what I have seen in the church so they have been used Jesus took off his eyes from his problems and that is what Jesus is trying to say here so verse 12 at the end he is saying do you not know 1:13:20 what I have done to you you call me teacher and the Lord you're right I am if I then the Lord and the teacher washed your feet you also out to wash one another's feet see in fact verse 15 I gave you an example that you also 1:13:38 should do as I did to you see we are not masters Jesus is a master but if he has given us example then we also should do maybe have a fellowship or church where we all not focusing on our own shortcomings 1:13:59 or weaknesses Moses had weakness but Moses was a disciple he had a spirit of disciple he went on serving God's people because he was fixing his eyes on God and Jesus went on serving people because he fixed his eyes on the 1:14:16 father but we are called to fix our eyes on Jesus and be disciples and receive grace to help one another may the Lord help us to live that way song and brother all of you God 1:15:00 will have to him to him to him to him to him to him to him to him to him to him to him to 1:15:20 him to him to him to him to him to him to him to him to him to him to him to him to him 1:15:40 to him to him to him to him to him to him to him to him to him to him lead me with heavenly light teach 1:16:00 me thy way teach me o lord teach me thy way thy guiding 1:16:20 grace afford teach me thy way help help help help me to walk right more by faith less by side lead me with 1:16:40 heavenly light teach me thy way help me to walk right more by faith less by sight lead me me help help me help me 1:17:00 help me help me to walk a right more by faith less by sight lead me with heavenly life teach 1:17:20 me when doubts and fears arise teach me thy way when storms o'erspread the skies teach me thy way 1:17:40 shine through the cloud and rain through sorrow toil and pain make thou my pathway flame teach me thy way long as 1:18:00 my life shall last teach me thy way where my lord be cast teach me thy way until the race is 1:18:20 round until the journey is done until the crown is won teach me thy way until the race is round until 1:18:40 the journey is done till the crown is won teach me thy way we want to hear from brother Polo brother thank 1:19:00 god for the word we heard want to turn back to chapter 26 verse 13 though god god told them i've set you free i brought you out of the land of egypt and we we heard that how in our life god has set us free 1:19:30 and god told them i've set you free i brought you out of the land of egypt and we we heard that how in our life god has set us free redeemed us from the yoke of slavery to sin and to satan and so that you would not be their slaves 1:19:53 God has brought us brought us brought us for freedom we read that in galatians chapter 5 verse 1 you know it's for freedom that christ has set you free and do not be subjective to the yoke of slavery again it's for freedom that christ has set me free and he has given this freedom and don't go back to the yoke of slavery and we can turn there and we can look at both the verses 5:1 1:20:22 and 5:13 it's it was for freedom that christ set us free therefore keep standing firm like we heard with our head straightened up keep standing firm and do not subject again to a yoke of slavery 1:20:43 Paul writes about a certain type of you know slavery there but can take it for other areas lord i don't want to be subject again to a yoke of slavery the slavery of sin or to satan or anything that would take away my focus from you 1:21:01 and again verse 13 for you are called to freedom brethren and only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for flesh don't use that freedom for an opportunity for flesh but through love serve one another just like we heard serve one another 1:21:24 lord you have given this freedom to me not to be subject again to some sort of slavery but to stand firm and to serve one another i won't give in an opportunity for flesh different circumstances but stand firm 1:21:44 and we can go back to leviticus 26 and in the context i encourage you to read that from verse 1 to verse 13 it really blessed my heart and look at few verses where god told them verse 7 you will chase your enemies and they will fall before you 1:22:03 by the sword you will chase your enemies that's the life god had called you will chase your enemies and they will fall and verse 11 and 12 beautiful verses i will make my dwelling among you i will make my dwelling among you 1:22:20 that's why i called you that's why i've set you free from egypt from the slavery from the bondage of sin so that i can dwell among you and my soul will not reject you verse 12 i also will walk among you and be your god and you shall be my people 1:22:41 that's that's the calling for me say lord you've set me free so that you want to live you want to make your dwelling with me and your soul will not reject me and you will be my god and i'll be your people what a beautiful 1:23:01 you know promises and god had given them and i was thinking of the life of israelites god said it's not for slavery i've set you free from the bars of the yoke and made you walk straight but if we look at the life of israelites 1:23:18 and we read paul says i am writing to you as a warning the life of israelites he compares i'm telling you as a warning for you it was you know we read it time and again they weren't living this life where they were aware 1:23:33 god is in my in our midst god is there he we are his dwelling place we are his people and he is our god they weren't aware of that multiple times you know they were like i wish we go to egypt i wish i go back to that old life 1:23:51 young people perhaps god has set you free and you're given yourself for baptism you're born again and you want to follow christ but in different circumstances and temptation is there a longing somewhere in your heart i wish 1:24:05 i can enjoy this i wish i can go back to this old way of life multiple places i want to read a few verses we don't have turn we don't need to turn there i'll read from exodus 16:3 if only we were in egypt if only i was living this whole life 1:24:23 if only i was out there in the world oh i will handle it differently i will do it differently they sat around the pots of meat and ate they were thinking of how they were eating the meat and ate all the food that we wanted 1:24:39 we had no restriction we ate all the food that we had but here we are starving numbers 14:3 why is the lord bringing us to this land only to let us fall by the sword wouldn't be better for us to go back to egypt it's for 1:25:01 freedom that christ has set them free and god said i'll be with you but their thoughts are i wish they can go back to egypt they have forgotten the slavery the oppression that they were in the oppression to sin and to satan 1:25:20 and the task masters that they had they had forgotten all of that they were like oh i wish we can be in egypt numbers 11:5 we remember the fish that we used to eat freely in egypt the cucumbers the melons the onions and the garlic 1:25:41 sometimes you know i think of this oh am i sometimes somehow secretly desiring my old life the old cucumbers the old garlics the old onions lord it's not for slavery that you set me free you know you know verse 10 1:26:01 numbers 11:10 they were all crying in the tent they were all crying in the tent somebody walked by hey why are you crying in the tent oh we wish we will go back to the promised land we are still here we are still stuck in the old place 1:26:17 we are not in the promised land we want to go back to the promised land and that's why we are crying no verse 10 they were crying that they will have some meat people were set free from the yoke of slavery and god said i'll be with you 1:26:37 now they cry where oh we can eat some meat think of my own life what is my cry in my heart they said lord i haven't you know become like you i haven't become a disciple in different situations what is my cry is my cry for 1:26:59 oh this is a month of increment there's been no increment there is no you know promotion i'm in the same job just doing the same thing the cry in my heart is i wish i get some promotion i wish i get some increment in salary 1:27:15 is that the cry in my heart lord i don't want to be subject to the yoke of slavery it's for freedom that high christ has set me free to stand firm like we heard they'd never said oh we remember the whips we remember the forced labor 1:27:36 we remember the oppression but god has set us free we want to go back to the promised land things changed you know we read that in numbers 21 that's that's what encouraged me i want to leave that encouragement they were 1:27:54 they were in and they numbers 21 we read that they were complaining about moses and about god and god sent serpents and moses cried out to the lord and god told moses you make a bronze serpent 1:28:15 and lift it up from verse 6 to verse 10 if someone sees the bronze serpent they will live if they were bitten by the snake they will have to come up and see the bronze serpent they will live and jesus told in john 3 14 and 15 1:28:37 that's we'll read that from john chapter 3 verse 14 and 15 and moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness even so must the son of man must be lifted up so that whoever believes 1:29:00 in him will have eternal life whoever can see him the son of man lifted up can live you know the people who were bitten by the serpent if they come up and see this bronze serpent christ was lifted up they can live 1:29:21 and that had changed the situation very very next maybe perhaps few days they were in a situation where there were no water verse 16 moses said assemble the people that i i may give them water and they came there was no water 1:29:40 perhaps empty well verse 17 the israel sang the song spring up oh well sing to it spring up oh well you know that's what happens when i see the son of man lifted up when i see him on the cross 1:30:01 taking my place fixing my eyes on jesus it's the same situation like we heard situation may not change it may be the same trial may be the same situation but lord when i look into you let me fix my eyes on you i can say spring up oh well 1:30:20 it's not the complaint anymore it's not murmuring it's not oh i wish i can go back to the whole life no lord with faith spring up oh well that can happen to me if i look into him jesus was lifted up i believe the lord will 1:30:40 help me to look at him in different places and circumstances fixing my eyes on him and tell the situation by faith spring up oh well i want to drink the water of life like we've been hearing last week and this week as disciples 1:30:59 looking into jesus you know come and see that was the call that jesus told come and see our disciple is one who sees fixes our eyes on him see and he said come and learn i want to see and learn and come and follow you need to follow him 1:31:17 yes perhaps in a sunday meeting when i am sitting here i can see him i can learn but through the week in difficult situation lord i want to follow you i want to look up to you learn from you and follow you and it doesn't stop there 1:31:32 for a disciple like we heard follow me follow me as i follow christ that's that's the calling for us a disciple i look into him see learn follow and i say come and follow me as i follow christ i believe that god will help me 1:31:49 and help us to be a disciple look into him and run this race may god help each of us amen yeah we have a wonderful calling let's bow our heads in prayer 1:32:11 psalm 34 says oh taste and see that the lord is good how blessed is the man who takes refuge in him verse 5 says they look to him and were radiant god wants us to 1:32:32 be a radiant having a radiant face a face lifted up having full faith in him and it says and their faces will never be ashamed what a wonderful calling and life we all can live you don't have to be 1:32:54 shamed the lord will enable us psalmist says i sought the lord and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears this is our lord and verse 6 says this poor man cried and the lord heard him and saved him out of all his troubles 1:33:14 the angel of the lord encamps around those who fear him and rescue them this is the lord we have brothers and sisters let's cry unto him and trust him trust him that he will make us to walk on the water water of troubles 1:33:35 water of world water of pressure he will make us the only thing we have to be disciple and fix our eyes on him the one who has already walked already overcame he said i have overcome the world may the lord help us to fix our eyes on him 1:33:55 the one who has overcome he is a conqueror he is our master only thing he is calling us to be disciples trust him take every little step holding his hands in all circumstances that we will be set free from all fears 1:34:16 father we praise you thank you for a wonderful gospel wonderful calling we have encourage each one of us teach us to number our days and apply the heart of wisdom and lord our life will be glorious we can walk with dignity 1:34:34 lord by your grace by your spirit lord we don't have to bow down to circumstances situation even our failures satan can remind thousand failures of us in the past but lord you have a glorious future for each one of us build us lord 1:34:51 help us in jesus name we pray amen we have announcements The New Covenant Servant by Brother Zach Poonan 1:35:22 God has made his work on earth to be dependent on man. If the man God calls is not ready, God's work is delayed or hindered. However, if one man fails to respond to God's call, God will call another. 1:35:43 It's a tremendous privilege to be called by God to serve him. But it brings with it a great and awesome responsibility too. The anointing of the Holy Spirit is the prime essential for being a New Covenant Servant of God. 1:36:02 Such a Servant of God leads believers to have a direct connection with Christ their head. It's a serious thing to be a New Covenant Servant of God. We cannot take such a responsibility lightly. God's Servants have tremendous authority. 1:36:24 But they have to be extremely watchful that they are obedient to God in the smallest thing, especially in their speech. Some of the marks of a New Covenant Servant: He is called and prepared by God. He is an example for others to follow. 1:36:47 He lives and serves in dependence upon the Holy Spirit. He is a spiritual father to others. He builds the church as the body of Christ. Such men are rare to find in every country. 1:37:08 But God needs such men today. He is a spiritual father to others.
