It's not a very popular book among Christians. 2:55 It's not a very popular book among Christians. If you ask most Christians what is your favorite book? Almost nobody will say Hebrews. Almost nobody will say Hebrews. People will speak about some other book in the New Testament. 3:21 People will speak about some other book in the New Testament. Because the book of Hebrews talks about deeper things that only those who want to go on with God will understand. Then you go into a church where there is politics and backbiting and gossiping. 46:19 And then you have a mandate as a leader. Half-hearted believers. And people who have been believers 10-15 years and defeated by sin. And for the 15-15 years of faith, you have a wonderful new believer gets corrupted by that bad company. 46:41 Just like some children get corrupted in a bad school. That is what has happened to most believers. And some people get fed up of that. Some people get fed up of that. They say this church is bad. I remember the Lord speaking to me more than 36 years ago. 51:25 The day after he filled me with the Holy Spirit. He said, the Spirit of God has come upon you like he came upon Mary. To produce Jesus in your life. All the other things are secondary. If I give you preaching ability or to speak in tongues, they're all secondary. 51:51 Mainly to produce Jesus in your life. I thank God for the direction that the Lord gave me at that time. And it's like stealing the glory of God. And many believers do that. And they become proud as though they themselves made themselves whole. 53:14 That is as foolish as that earth thinking, "I made myself okay." So that's the first thing the Holy Spirit did in me. And the first thing, I can never, never despise a backslider or a sinner in my life. 53:36 And the second thing, I can never despise a backslider or a sinner in my life. I said, "I was the chief of sinners. If God could do that for me, He can do it for you." I will never lose that awareness. 53:57 So you can say, "God has a purpose even in allowing you to fail." So that you will never take the glory for anything in your life.
