0:00 [Music] I've in my desire to be like Jesus, which is the greatest desire that any Christian can have to be more and 0:17 more like Christ. One of the things I've seen is that Jesus loved the little children. So I want to love little children. And so since they sang a lovely song for me, 0:36 I want to sing a song for you little children. I can't sing as well as you, but I'll try. Jesus loves me. This I know. Though my hair is white as snow, though my sight 0:56 is growing dim, still he bids me. Trust in him. Join me. Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me. 1:13 The by tells me though my steps are oh so slow with my hand in his I'll go on through life let come what may he'll be there to lead the 1:29 way yes >> yeses me yes >> loves me the Though I am no longer young, I have much 1:49 which he has begun. Let me serve Christ with a smile. Walk with all the extra mile. Yes. >> Yes, Jesus loves me. 2:09 Mine tells me so. When the nights are dark and long, in my heart he puts a song telling me in words so clear, "Have no fear, for I am near. 2:26 Yes, Jesus loves me. Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me." The Bible When my work on earth is done and life's 2:45 victories have be won, he will take me home above to know the fullness of his love. Yes. >> Do you love Jesus? Does he know? Have 3:12 you ever told him so? Jesus loves to hear you say that you love him every day. Yes. loves me. >> Thank you. 3:43 >> You children did a great job today and we enjoy you. Please remember that is not only the adults whom Jesus loves. He loves little children. And if Jesus were physically here, he would spend a lot of time with you children. So don't you 4:01 children ever think that you're not important? You're very very important. Once when somebody asked Jesus, "Who is the greatest person in heaven?" Jesus picked up a child smaller than all of you who stood here. And he picked up 4:20 that baby and said, "Heaven is like this." Because that little baby is probably one week old. Has no bad thoughts in its mind. Is not trying to pretend that I'm so smart or clever or good-looking or no such thoughts. Have you seen a little 4:39 baby one week old? is what sort of what sort of thoughts are going through that baby's mind not the proud thoughts that come in the mind of even children sometimes think I'm better than him I'm better than her nothing like that we 4:56 must learn to become even grownup people to become like little children I have meditated on that what did Jesus mean when a grown-up person like me must learn from a little child I encourage all All of you brothers and sisters, 5:12 learn from little children. Meditate when you see a child, a baby lying in a cradle. Ask yourself, how can I be like this child? What are the thoughts going on in the mind of this child? It's not thinking how clever I am, how smart I am, how good-looking I 5:28 am. These are the thoughts that goes through the minds of adults. Lot of proud thoughts. But the child has got no such thing. and something else. If somebody naughtily goes and pinches that child tomorrow when that person comes, 5:42 the child will smile at it. It won't even remember that this is the person who pinched me yesterday and hurt me. What a wonderful thing it is to be like a child. Meditate on what it means to be like a child. It'll make you more like 5:54 Jesus Christ. That's how he was. That's how he lived on the earth. Never hurting anybody. Never having high thoughts about itself. never remembering the evil that other people did to it. What a wonderful thing. So as you children grow 6:09 up, don't learn the bad habits of older people. Don't learn the bad habits that other people other children in your school have. I don't believe Jesus, you know, by the way, Jesus had four younger brothers and two younger sisters. He was 6:26 the eldest of a family with four younger brothers and two younger sisters and he lived with them and those younger brothers and sisters of Jesus were not very good. They behaved badly but you know that Jesus never fought 6:44 with them even once in all the years he was with them. If somebody came to fight with Jesus as a young boy, he would say, "I'm not fighting." If somebody came to him and told some false bad stories about somebody else, Jesus would say, "I don't want to listen 7:03 to that." And if somebody said something bad about someone, Jesus would say, "But there's something good in that person also. Let me tell you that." He was so much seeking to please his father in heaven. is a great example for 7:19 all your children to follow and all adults to follow also. And if he saw other children fighting, he would try and stop the fight, but he would never get involved himself. And he would listen to daddy and mommy. That's the thing. Whatever dad and mom 7:36 said, he would listen to them. Like I said earlier, if the children were playing and the mommy called, he would go and listen to mommy and then come back and play. It's a wonderful thing because of that he grew up like that not just when he was a child all 7:52 the way to the age of 30 and then one day the father in heaven was watching Jesus right from childhood growing up growing up growing up watching all the how he was behaving with the other children and how he was obeying his earthly father and mother. 8:11 Why did Jesus live like that? because he said, "I want to be an example not only for the grown-up people, I want to be an example for the little children as well." So you children can follow Jesus. You you imagine in your mind how did 8:27 Jesus obey his mother Mary and his father Joseph? They were not perfect. Your father and mother are not perfect. Nobody on earth is perfect. The only perfect person who lived on this earth was Jesus Christ. Everybody else has got some weakness, 8:44 some imperfection. So when you look at your dad and mom and you see something wrong in them, remember that everybody in the world is like that. Even Christians, there's no Christian who's not perfect. I'm 86 years old. But I see 8:57 so many weaknesses in me which I cleanse myself and keep try to keep myself, you know, things which you may not think of inner attitudes of towards the Lord. and I want to be as pure and holy as Jesus was. You should have that desire, too. 9:16 So, it's a great example Jesus has set for people of every age, right from childhood all the way up. And then one day, the heavens opened on top of him and God said, "I have watched my son all these 9:33 years. This is my son. I'm very happy with him. Don't you want to hear God say that about you? You, you and I can follow in Jesus' footsteps so that one day our 9:49 heavenly father can say to each of us, I am very happy with you. The way you have lived, the way you obeyed your daddy and mommy, the way you've not fought with your brothers and sisters, God is watching all the time. And one day I 10:06 tell you, the heavens will open and Jesus will come and he will call you by your name and say, "I'm very happy with this young boy or this young girl. I saw how they grew up and I want to publicly tell everybody I'm very happy with this. I hope all of 10:26 you will grow up like that. God bless you. Okay, now we have some questions to be answered. Questions asked especially by children. How do I know that I am truly forgiven 10:47 and born again and going to heaven? Will I actually feel something or do I just say I'm born again when people ask me? Well, I'll tell you my testimony. My father was a God-fearing born-again Christian from the time I was 11:06 born. So, he would take me to a good church like this and to listen the Sunday school and everything. So the earliest I can remember was not when I was as small as you. I don't remember but I remember when I was about 13 years old 11:26 I think probably for the first time I said Lord Jesus come into my heart in a meeting. I didn't feel anything. I didn't know anything. You know I wish I had the voice of Jesus and 5,000 people without any mic he could speak to them. 11:40 But he grew up in an age of tough life. We've all grown up in a very soft type of environment and we're very soft people. So I said, "Lord Jesus, come into my heart." No feeling, no experience, no light. And the next meeting would come again, I 12:00 would say, "Lord Jesus, come to our heart." And I'm not exaggerating. I think the next six years, I must have asked Jesus to come into my heart 100 times. I was never sure. How do I know? I had no feeling. I never saw any light. 12:13 Not only then I'm 86 years old today till today I have never seen any light from heaven. I've never felt any shake in my body. I never seen Jesus face to face. But I am absolutely sure that Jesus Christ is my savior. And that came to my 12:30 heart when I was 19 years old. One day I was reading the Bible. And I tell you, if you develop the habit of reading the Bible, you will hear God speaking to your heart. I cannot explain how. Not an audible voice. I've never in 12:46 my life heard God with this ears. I've never seen anything of God with these eyes. But in my heart, I've felt him speak to me. I know I know the day he called me to leave my job in the Navy and say, "Come out to serve me full-time." not an 13:05 audible voice but in my heart and I obeyed it 60 years ago and all these 60 years he's taken care of me I've never depended on anybody for any money I've never got a salary from anyone in my life I've never asked anybody never sent 13:21 any letters but somehow or the other God has blessed the little business I do to support myself God has blessed it didn't we lived simply my wife and I and God's taken care of us so what says he will take care of you but we don't have to 13:38 see him visibly but if I read God's word he will assure you but if you don't have the habit of reading the Bible then it'll be very difficult to know whether you're born again or not you have to believe what your dad and mom tell you 13:54 but if you read the Bible if you h if you've gone to school you know how to read other books definitely read the New Testament read about Jesus And you will know in your heart definitely that Jesus has come in. Very simple to 14:11 come to Jesus and say, "Lord Jesus, I have done many wrong things in my life. I've disobeyed daddy and mommy. I've fought with my brothers and sisters and I've said a lot of bad things. I got angry. Please forgive me. You died on 14:26 the cross as a punishment for my sin. Thank you. And you rose up from the dead. you're living. Please come into my heart and live there forever. You just say it once. There's a promise in the Bible in John 6:37. That's what the Lord gave me. 14:44 Jesus says, "If you come to me, I will never reject you. I will never say no to you. I will not cast you out. I believed it. I believed it 66 years ago. And I've never forgotten it. And I've never doubted it that Jesus accepted me." 15:01 How I got that assurance? I don't know. Jesus gave me. He'll give it to you. So don't worry about what people say. You can be sure yourself. Every one of you can be sure. It's a simple prayer. Lord Jesus, I'm a sinner. I've done wrong 15:19 things. Please forgive me. Please come into my heart and make me know that I am your child. That's all. Okay. How do I know when it is the right time for me to take baptism? Baptism is being immersed in water whereby you're saying I have 15:35 died to my own will and I'm not want to live for myself and I'm going to live for God. And you come up out of the water saying God is just like Jesus was buried and he rose from the dead in baptism. You're saying I also want to 15:51 die with Jesus to the world and to all worldly habits and to sin and all the evil things and I want to come out of the water as a new person. I want to live for Jesus Christ. That's the meaning of baptism. So, and when you're young at this age, 16:06 you're not able to understand that fully. So, it's better that you take that decision when you're old enough to understand what that actually means. You can be a child of God even when you're three years old. You can ask Jesus to 16:21 come to my heart. I met a person who accepted Christ when she was three years old and I met her when she was nearly 85 or something and she went as a missionary to China and she told told us in our church as an old lady when she 16:37 came there to India that she accepted tribes when she was 3 years old and when she was five or six years old she got she listened to a missionary speaking about China and as a five or six year old she had a fake feeling in her heart 16:49 I must go to China as a missionary and she did to Japan and sent the word of God to China. So God can speak to people at a very young age. So when is the right time for you to take baptism? When you're old enough and mature enough to 17:05 understand what is the meaning and symbolism of this and you're not old enough to understand that. It's just like in school. There are many things you still don't understand in school. You come to a certain age, you understand many things. So your parents 17:18 and the elders in your church will tell you what is the right time. Usually in many of our churches we wait till they're about 15 or 16 years old where they can be old enough to understand the meaning of that. So that is my advice. 17:32 There's no rule on it but that's a general advice. How do I know that I'm filled with the Holy Spirit? Just like asking Jesus to come into your heart. What does it mean to be filled with the Holy Spirit? It means to give your entire part to the 17:47 best way I can express it is here's a house which has got 10 rooms in it. When you ask Jesus to come into your heart, the Holy Spirit comes into your heart. To fill the spirit means every room of your life, you say Jesus, come 18:02 in. Come in. When you ask Jesus to come in, the Holy Spirit comes in. And if you open every area of your life to the Lord Jesus, the Holy Spirit comes into every area. The whole house is full of light. That is what it means to be filled with 18:17 the Holy Spirit. So you got to ask yourself, is there anything in your life which you're not ask Jesus to come in? For example, asking forgiveness. That is one room. If you've done something wrong, you fight with one another. Do 18:33 you go and ask forgiveness from that sister or brother, whoever you fought with, otherwise you're keeping that door shut? Supposing you hurt somebody, you fought with somebody and you didn't go and ask forgiveness. That room in your life is dark. 18:51 You can't be filled with the spirit. You have to open it up and say, "Lord Jesus, I'm willing to go and ask forgiveness." So everything in your life you want to know whether there's some area for some you tell a lie to your dad and mom. Your 19:04 dad and mom ask you something and you tell them a lie. There's a room in your life that is dark. It's no use praying to be filled with the Holy Spirit. You must open the door and say Lord I'm sorry for telling a lie. Go to your parents. Go to dad and 19:20 mom and say I'm sorry I told you a lie. Speak the truth. Light will come into that room. like that in every area wherever your conscience tells you that's wrong and you listen to your conscience your room will be filled with 19:33 light and you can be always filled with the spirit after that after you're filled with the spirit can you become dark again yes many people they are filled with the spirit every room is lit up then one day they don't allow Jesus 19:46 to come into one area of their life that area becomes dark again so you must be filled with the spirit all the time every room in your life must be lit Okay. Every morning before school, I cannot find time to read my Bible. That's 20:01 perfectly okay. Sometimes I feel lazy to read my Bible. So I just pick a short chapter to read. That's enough. You don't need to read a big chapter. Sometimes I don't even read a full chapter. I read four or five verses. 20:14 Then the important thing is to think. It's better to read. Smoking about only 10 minutes or let's say five minutes. You got only five minutes to read. I won't read a chapter because I'll just read quickly and I won't get anything. I would read 20:30 four or five verses or 10 verses. That may take about a minute. And then for the next four minutes, I'll think about that. Read it again, read it again, read it again. And I spent five minutes reading only four verses or five verses. 20:44 And I say in the New Testament particularly and if it's a passage you can't the language is too difficult for you understand take an easier passage or ask dad and mom what does this mean and think about it you need only five 20:59 minutes and say help me to remember what you speak to me or during the day sometimes the verse may come back to your mind so don't think you have to read a long passage and so you know once you find sometimes God speaks something 21:14 to you from the Bible, you get so excited that you want to read again and again. That's how I got excited to read the Bible. And I started studying it earnestly. So ask God to speak to you. When you open the Bible, you say, "Lord 21:27 Jesus, speak to me today something from here." And Jesus loves to speak to little children. Remember that. Okay. Uh what are some ways I can train myself to want to read the Bible? Well, I'll tell you what. When you have one or two 21:46 experiences like this that something from the Bible God spoke to your heart, then you really want to read it more because it's a wonderful experience to let God speak to you. Sometimes, you know, in different situations, God's 21:57 told me exactly what to do in something I've read in the Bible. So, it's amazing what God can tell you. How do I obey my parents, submit to my elders from my heart, and not complain? I'll tell you. When you do something 22:13 wrong, you disobeyed your parents or you hurt them or you told a lie, go to them, say, "Dad, mom, I'm sorry." What should you say first? I am sorry. Please forgive me. I told you a lie. I 22:31 spoke rudely to you. I fought with my brother. Go to him and say, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry for fighting with you." It's just a few words. Humble yourself and say, "Lord, I'm sorry for fighting with my brother, sister, and I want to obey my parents." 22:50 And if you every time you do something wrong or you towards your parents and you go and apologize for it, it'll be much easier for you. Remember one thing that your dad and mom are interested in you. Think of all the trouble they go to 23:07 work hard, earn money, to buy clothes for you, to get food for you, to take care of you in so many ways, to send you to school, which cost money. They're doing all that. Those are all proofs of their great love for you. So, 23:23 you should think about that and learn the habit of once in a while going to them and say, "Thank you, Dad. Thank you, Mom, for all that you're doing for me. Thank you for the food you cook for us. Thank you dad for going and working 23:35 so hard so that we can have a home to live in. It's a very good habit for you children to go and say thank you to dad and mom and start today. Say thank you dad. Thank you mom and mean it from your heart and gradually you'll find it's very easy 23:53 to submit to them. What does it practically look like for me to be under grace when I'm 11 years old? To be under grace, the Bible says grace is a power. I compare it to electricity. See, if we switch off the lights now, it'll be so 24:11 dark here. That's like a heart with no grace. And all the lights are on. That's like a heart full of grace. So, I must humble myself. That means many things. For example, if I have sinned, if I did something wrong, to humble myself to take take the blame. 24:31 Lord, that was my fault. I did it. That's humbling yourself. And not fighting with you. Somebody comes to fight with me and say, "No, I don't want to fight." That's humbling yourself. And if you if you do that, God will give you strength. Grace means 24:45 strength, power. Grace is a word not much used in the rest of the world. They don't understand it. But in the Bible, grace means strength and power to fight against the bad desire. Sometimes you're tempted to do something wrong. Say, 24:59 "Lord, give me grace not to yield to that." Okay? And even if you're 11 years old, you're tempted with many things. You'll be tempted right from the time you come to an age of understanding. Even two, three year old, children can be tempted. And 25:14 I'm 86 years old, I'm tempted. But I say no and no. And it becomes easier as you go, if you keep on fighting against it. What does it look like for me as a child to be humble and stay away from pride? Well, the first thing you can do is obey 25:28 your parents. It requires humility to obey your parents. Because even when you're a child, you can begin to think, I know more than my parents. And as you learn some things in school, you can think you know more than your 25:43 parents. It's all a lie. Even if you get the best education in the best school, you may know more about mathematics than your parents. But you don't know more about God than your parents. The most important thing in life is not mathematics and English 25:59 and geography. It is knowing God. And most of you, your parents know God. So they will always know more than you. So don't ever think that you know better than them. You don't. So remain humble. God because God blesses those who are 26:17 humble. Okay. As a child, how do I actually love Jesus more when I can't see him or hear him? You can feel him in your heart. Feel means you can feel God speak to you. I tell you Jesus loves to speak to little children. But it's not with these ears 26:33 that we hear. It's in our heart that we hear him saying. For I'll tell you an example. Supposing somebody comes to fight with you and you hear a voice inside saying don't fight with him. That's Jesus speaking to you in your heart. How can 26:49 you say Jesus did not speak to you? He spoke to you at that time. Don't fight with him. Or somebody came and slapped you and the voice inside says forgive him. Forgive her. Forgive her. Or you hurt somebody accidentally or in anger. 27:09 And the voice inside says go and say I am sorry. That's Jesus speaking to you. How can you say you never hear Jesus speaking to you? You do hear it. Obey that voice and uh you'll gradually you'll love him more and more and more. It'll come 27:26 automatically. When when I think about eternity going on forever and ever and ever and ever, it scares me. No, it can't scare you because eternity in heaven is going to be such a wonderful place. You know, you'll be able to fly around, 27:43 move around. You don't walk there. You fly. Wouldn't you be excited flying around from here to there? You don't have to walk or run. You don't stumble on anything. If there's a mountain, you just fly over it and go to the other 27:54 side. Eternity is going to be like that. You won't be limited. And here you some people you can't understand their language. They're speaking some other language. in heaven you'll be able to understand anybody everybody's language 28:05 you can understand and without asking that person's name I'll know his name you know that you meet some completely you never met that person before you say hi hi John hi Mark or hi Betty and say how do you know my name I don't know God told me your name 28:24 I've never met you before how do I know that there's a story in the Bible that Jesus took took his disciples to a mountaintop one day and two people came there from heaven and Peter said, "Oh, hi Moses. Hi 28:43 Elijah." How did he know Moses and Elijah? They lived hundreds of years before Peter. Immediately he knew this is Moses. This is Elijah. That's how I know that we will know people immediately. Nobody will have to introduce me to Paul or 28:58 Peter or John. I'll go up and they say, "Hi, Paul." Peter and he'll tell me, "Hi, Zach. Good to see you. Heaven is going to be such a wonderful place." And then I by the time I finish saying hi to all the millions of people 29:11 there, that itself so many years would have gone by. So it's going to be very exciting for me. And not only that, you know, I told somebody the other day, one of the things I'm going to sit do in heaven is I'm going to sit with each 29:22 person or stand or fly with them. I'm not joking. Absolutely true. And I'd say tell me your story from childhood. Tell me how what Jesus did for you all through your life. Maybe I'll spend six months talking to him. I finish with 29:38 him. I go to the next person and say, "Now you tell me your story." So in one year I finished talking to two people. Can you imagine how it'll be in millions of years? I still haven't finished because there's so many millions of 29:48 people there. Heaven is an going to be an exciting place for me and for you because I love to listen to testimonies here. How much wonderful it'll be over there. Okay. Uh if I ask God to help me, how do I know he's actually helping me and not 30:04 just me doing it on my own? Well, you know, there are many things which we can't do on our own or we think this is an impossible situation. How how will I ever do it? And you pray and somehow or the other you do it and say Lord you help me there. Or sometimes 30:21 from a sickness you're lying there sick and you're praying Lord heal me when he heals you. you can't heal yourself maybe through medicine or somewhere. Uh we don't go doesn't come physically down and lift you up but he likes to work 30:35 invisibly. You know we human beings we are so proud that we want to help people and they we want them to know that I'm the one who helped you and they we want them to be grateful to us and keep saying thank you to us. That's because we are so proud. 30:51 Jesus said when you do good to somebody don't let him know that you did it. Try your best to hide it. Go and help him secretly so they didn't he doesn't even know that you did it. Or even better, he thought somebody else helped him and 31:04 you're so happy. Praise God. He didn't know it was me who helped me. He thought that person helped him. Good. I'm free. Because otherwise, I'd be proud that I'm the one who helped him. So, we should be happy if you helped somebody and they 31:17 didn't thank you. They thanked somebody else thinking he helped them. That's good. you'll get a reward from heaven one day for helping. So it's like that how do I know God helps us without even coming saying I'm God I'm to help you 31:35 when we are helped even health you know for example the fact that you can all come to this conference there are many people who cannot come you have to say thank you Lord for help me to come here tell me that thank you Lord that I've got health it's not I got 31:49 to thank God I'm 86 years old and God has helped me and taken care of me and my wife that 57 years we've been married. We've never been to a hospital even a single time for sickness. I thank God for it. Now it's not doesn't happen 32:03 like that to everybody. Some people they go to a hospital and God heals them there. So it's different for different people. God teaches different us in different ways. But there are so many things God does. You know we take these 32:14 for granted. Jesus taught us to pray to thank. Why did Jesus always pray and thank God before he ate food? Why do we teach people before you eat your food, bow your head, say, "Thank you, Jesus, for this food." Why? You say, "Well, my dad and mom bought 32:30 this food for me." No, God gave it. God gave your dad and mom the ability to earn money to buy that food and put it on your table. So, we have to thank God for everything, for health, to be able to come to this conference that you're not sick and 32:45 lying in bed. This world is such an evil place that we should actually all be sick. But we're not sick. The very fact that we're healthy, we should be thanking God for it. So, there are a lot of things we need to thank God for. 32:59 Okay. I seem to enjoy being with my animals more than with God. How can I fight this? Well, there's nothing wrong with if you enjoy your dog or your cat or rabbits or whatever animals you have enjoying them. Those are also God's 33:13 gifts to you. Enjoy them by all means, but you it's natural. You see them more. You don't see God. And you I think you're very honest when you say you enjoy being with animals. But don't say you don't enjoy being with God. Say, "I 33:26 feel these animals, but I don't feel God." But remember, this is God who created those animals. Who made that dog and cat to be so loving towards you? Who makes that dog keep on wagging its tail when it comes to you? That's God. 33:40 He's trying to show you how much he loves you. And that dog is God's gift to you. That cat is God's gift to you. So behind all these good things you enjoy in the world, God is there. The only thing is God acts in a way in is 33:52 invisibly in the world. It's God who makes the sun to rise. God who makes the rain to fall and takes care of us in health and gives us oxygen to breathe every day. But we are not thankful. Just like children, how many of you children have 34:07 gone to your daddy and mommy and said, "Thank you for breakfast or thank you for giving me food. Thank you for giving me clothes." Very few children go to their parent dad and mom and say thank you for the food you gave me or thank 34:17 you for the clothes you stitched to me those lovely dress you got for me. We don't do it but they still give us they keep on giving us. That's how God is. God is like that. Even though you don't thank him, he does so many things for 34:28 you. And very often he won't even let you know it. God's always giving us surprise gifts. Health is a surprise gift. The very fact that you can come to this conference is a gift of God. There are many places in the world today, even 34:42 in India, my home country where many many people your age, they don't know Jesus. They are worshiping some dumb idol and thinking that is God. How blessed you are. Learn to thank God for that. So 35:01 if you recognize it, you'll learn to be more and more thankful. Does God love unbelievers? Yes. God loved you and me when we were unbelievers. He loves everybody in the world. Jesus did not die for believers. The Bible says God so loved the 35:20 world that he gave his only son that whoever in the world, do you know one of the names that people gave Jesus? Friend of sinners. Nowhere in the Bible is Jesus called friend of holy people. The people looked at Jesus. You know why 35:39 they called him friend of sinners? Because he all he always was hanging around sinful people. Even though he did not join with them, he felt sorry for the sinful people. You know, just like a good doctor will always be looking for sick people whom 35:55 he can help. Think of a doctor who has no interest in making money and is always seeking to help sick people. My wife is a doctor. She's never earned one cent as a doctor. But she's helped hundreds probably a thousand sick people 36:08 in India in many many parts of India. So I say God is even better than that. He's always with sick people and sinful people. Jesus is called a friend of sinners. So we should also be like that. God loves unbelievers. That person in your class who doesn't 36:28 know anything about Jesus Christ, God loves him. So you must love him too. If you're like Jesus Christ, you love those people in your class who don't know him at all. Even those who speak against Christ, he loves them because they are 36:41 ignorant. They are blind spiritually. Did God create sin? No. You need to understand what sin is. Sin is disobeying God. Supposing your dad or mom tell you don't put your hand there or don't take any 37:01 biscuits from that box when you disobey. What is that? Are you did your parents make you do that? No. There's a evil nature in all of us that makes us do wrong things. Fight with people disobey. We can't say that your parents made you 37:19 do it. You did it. So God gives us the freedom to say yes or no, but he won't force you. He won't catch you by the neck. He could have done that. He caught everybody in the neck and say, "Obey me." No, he doesn't do that. Even your 37:32 parents don't do that. God is much more loving. So he gives us freedom because he wants us to choose freely to obey him. So he didn't create sin. How do I know if God is talking to me or just my own thoughts? How can I hear the Lord 37:45 better? I'll tell you slowly, little by little, as you read the Bible, you'll come to know God. It's by by constant hearing. For example, the first time you hear the voice of your mom and dad, you can't recognize it. But some of you have heard your mom, 38:02 let's say your mom's voice so many times for 10 years, you've heard your mom. Even if she's in the other room in the midst of other voices, you can say, "Yeah, that's my mom. I can recognize your her voice." You're not seeing her. 38:14 But from another room, you can recognize that's my mom's voice because you have heard her so often. So if you develop the habit of reading the Bible regularly, you'll know in your heart when God is speaking. Now I've read this Bible for 38:29 66 years. So I can know in my heart when God is speaking to me just like you can recognize your voice, mom's voice or your dad's voice in the other room in the midst of other voices. And if you keep reading the Bible, you'll be able to hear the Lord better. 38:46 How do I correctly balance when I need to do for school and keep my mind on heavenly things? See, if you're studying in school and your teacher is teaching you subject something on the don't try to think of heaven at that time. 39:00 Concentrate on what you're hearing in the class at that time or if you're in whatever way you're learning, you must concentrate on that to when your mind is free from all these other things. Then think of what you read in the Bible or 39:14 think about some story from the Bible. It's when our mind is free. I don't have to keep on thinking of heavenly things to be a heavenly minded person. To be heavenly minded is this attitude of love that I love God with all my heart and I 39:27 love others as Jesus loved me. I but I'm not always thinking about heaven. But my attitude towards God and towards others must be the attitude of Christ which is one of love. That is heavenly. And I can you can sit in a school and 39:43 have a good attitude that you don't fight with people. That's a heavenly attitude while you're sitting in school that if people come to fight with you, you don't tell bad stories about anybody etc. Okay? So you can have a heavenly mind in 39:55 all that you do. Sometimes my brother annoys me. How can I forgive him? I'll tell you. Think of how Jesus forgave you. Have you done something wrong? Jesus forgave you like that. We forgive others 40:11 like Jesus forgave us. Should I allow him to keep on annoying me and keep on forgiving him? Well, you can tell him, "Hey, stop annoying me. There's nothing wrong in saying that." Or if it gets too bad, tell your 40:29 dad and mom. But don't fight back. No, that's why God has given a dad and mom in your home to sort out. You know, it takes time for you to overcome these bad habits with all of us and uh I had a little brother and I'm sure I fought 40:44 with him. I don't remember it all, but I don't fight with him today. We grow up out of it, you know, and we love one another today. So, you'll one day you'll love your brother and you'll feel sorry that you fought with your brother or 40:55 sister. Okay. I'm in the first grade. When my mom and dad discipline me, I quickly forget and do the same thing again. Don't get discouraged. We've all done the same thing. I'm sure I've done that like that so many times. But we repent 41:14 and we come back and one day we stop. It may not happen the very first time. Don't get discouraged. You really don't want to do it, but you did it again. Even though you were disciplined, it happens to all of us. We don't stop 41:27 after one correction. The only person who lived on this earth without ever doing anything wrong was Jesus Christ. And we try to be like him. But some of us it takes a little longer because even our temperaments are different. So don't 41:40 get discouraged. Just keep at it and one day you'll become more like Jesus. Okay. Why didn't God destroy Satan? Because he's allowing Satan to make us strong. Have you seen a gymnasium? There are gymnasiums where people go and 41:57 exercise their hand against some metal objects. They pull it and they push it and lift themselves up and pull themselves up like that. That strain, that strain and tension is what makes their muscles strong. So if we did not 42:13 have any opposition in our spirit, we will not become strong. So one reason God has allowed say God could have destroyed Satan long ago, but he's allowed Satan to come and trouble us so that we fight and become strong in our 42:26 spirit. That's how we become good. And t Satan tempts me to do something wrong and I say no, I become good. I'm telling you from my own experience. I mean, Satan has tried to trouble me so many ways. But I fought in the early days. I 42:41 didn't know how to fight. He would defeat me. But time came on. I could overcome, overcome, overcome. And I remember one day after many, many years, this is what the Lord told me in my heart. As you were afraid of Satan all 42:55 these years, from now on, Satan will be afraid of you. Can you imagine that? That Satan is afraid of me. It took many years. But I said, I'm not afraid of you anymore. And I've seen people possessed with a demon coming out. I said in Jesus name, 43:12 get out of that you demon. And the demon has left and the person becomes all right. So there's mighty power in the name of Jesus Christ. Whenever you're afraid, take the name of Jesus and say in Jesus name, I resist you Satan. Satan 43:26 will be afraid of you. Jesus is with you. Okay, brother Zach, what is your favorite book in the Bible? I think the best book to read about Jesus for me is the Gospel of John, which I love to read. And then because 43:45 I'm in teaching God's word, uh many of those books are very important for me. But the book I've spent most in my life to understand in the letters that after the gospels is the book of Hebrews. That's what I've studied. That may be a little strong for 44:04 younger children, but gospel of John is a wonderful book to read. Okay, this is a difficult question to answer. It's not difficult really. What do you and sister Annie do for fun? We crack jokes, 44:25 make fun that way. We say some funny things to each other. We are too old to jump and do things like that. But uh we are very happy with each other and we can say a lot of funny things to each 44:43 other and we don't get hurt and we hear a good joke we tell the joke to each other. She tells me about some joke she heard and I tell her about some joke I heard and we laugh together. Laughing is a very very good thing. So if you hear a 44:57 funny story tell me. And uh that's how we tell funny stories to each other and u that's how we enjoy ourselves. That's all. That's the last question. God bless you all. I hope you enjoyed this time together. Let's pray. 45:16 Lord Jesus, thank you for being here today and I pray that all these children will know how much you love them, how much you care for them, and how much you want to help them. and you understand their weakness and you understand the 45:33 eager desire that they have that they ask these questions. Please help them never to forget the answers they heard today and pray that it'll go extremely well with every child here that every one of them will grow up to love you and 45:48 live for you in the years to come. Thank you, Father. Please answer this prayer in Jesus name. Amen. [Music]
