0:16 Okay. So, I just want to read the verse first before we pray. Uh, it is uh Hebrews 12:2. Hebrews 12:2. Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of faith, who 0:35 for the joy set before him, endured cross, endured the cross, despising the shame and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Let's pray. Heavenly Father, we thank you for this time you have given to us. Thank you for 0:53 gathering us. And Lord, we trust that you have a word for us, for the church. Please uh help us Lord to hear you clearly even as I seek to explain what you have laid in my heart. Lord I pray that you would help me to bypass the 1:08 human limitations and to speak the word clearly. Give me the grace Lord and strength as I speak about you. Uh thank you for being our example Lord the way you have led your life on this earth. help us to dwell um in in that word and 1:25 to learn from you from your life in Jesus name I pray. Amen. Okay. Um growing up in India uh I had a lot of passion about cricket. Cricket uh I believe uh like most of you 1:42 are familiar uh even people who are not from India. Uh so the entire nation it's like a religion. It's like a big thing. Uh so growing up I was so fascinated by the cricket stars. I collect their uh photographs. I make books of my favorite 1:58 cricket players and I read about the how they play you know I watch the match and next day I go and read uh the uh the commentary about the match and I read about their biography how they came to cricket the career the family all of 2:14 that because I really admire I really wanted to uh know about this person because they're like our stars and sometimes like we try to imitate when we play cricket just like we imitate exactly the way they hit the ball exactly the way the ball. So something 2:29 like we constantly look at them and try to imitate try to imitate. Um so for all of us as Christians our superhero uh that we want to imitate or we want to follow in his footsteps is our Lord Jesus Christ. That's why uh this verse 2:45 is very very uh powerful. Uh I think we sang the song turning our eyes on Jesus. uh fixing our eyes on Jesus or looking on to Jesus the author and perfector of our faith. He not only initiated our faith but he's also going to perfect our 3:03 faith. It is about coming to the narrow gate when we are born again and when we uh continue our journey he is the one who is perfecting our faith and um he went through the cross for the joy that was set before him. He endured the cross 3:18 and he despised the shame. Uh so all of us who have been coming to Austin CFC or listen to CFC teachings one verse that we all always come back is our destination. What is our destination? Why are we here? Are we just having some 3:35 good time on Sunday or what is our goal in our Christian life? I think we always need to come back to this verse because we can uh we can otherwise get distracted. Romans 8:29, our destination is to be conformed to the image of 3:49 Jesus. Nothing else. We want to be confirmed in every area of our lives. We want to be like Jesus. So we must if we want to be like Jesus, we must know how he lived. We must know how he behaved. We must know how he acted or reacted. 4:05 Right? Um so when we speak of Jesus, uh I think I also think about this verse that Jesus spoke. If I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw people to myself. So my goal or whatever I want to do and one of the burden God has given me when 4:22 I asked what should I share in this year in the beginning of the year he told me to speak about Jesus and that's what I want to do today again as I lift him up from the earth he it is up to him he will draw the people to himself and um 4:37 and that's a beauty when I lift up Jesus Christ because of his love and that there's a there is a power in his love and he will draw people to himself And um and speaking of the destination also there is one more verse that comes to my 4:52 mind. It's 1 John 2:6. If you want to refer this verse I think this is also very important for us uh to memorize and also to obey. 1 John 2:6, chapter 2:6, it says, "The one who says he abides in 5:08 him, ought himself to walk in the same manner as he walked." In the same manner he as he walked. When we call ourselves Christians, when we want to follow him, when our destination is to be Christlike, we also ought to walk in the 5:24 same manner as he walked. So thankfully God has given us four gospels and then there's epistles and we we get a glimpse of Jesus life and some of the things are written in the scripture clearly some of the things are not written but the holy 5:37 spirit can help us to see and understand and uh so this verse let's keep that in mind as we uh go through this message. Um Hebrews chapter 2:18 um uh the verse that talks about Jesus tempted in all points um it says Hebrews 2:18 for since 5:57 he himself was tempted in that which he has suffered he is able to come come to the aid of those who are tempted. Is there anyone in this room who is never tempted? No. Right? All of us are tempted 24 by7. But we have an example 6:13 here. He himself was tempted in that which he suffered. So because of he went through the same temptations as we did as we are going through right now he is able to come to the aid when we are being tempted. So we can call for the 6:28 grace of God and we can go to Jesus. No temptation is too much like whatever we we are going through Jesus has already went through. So that's a great promise in the new covenant that because he was tempted he was sinless God will give me 6:41 victory. Jesus will give me victory. And the similar verse in Hebrews chapter 4 um it says uh 4:15 he we have a high priest who will sympathize with our weaknesses. We have we deal with our weaknesses as we fight against sin but one who has been tempted 6:57 in all things that as we are yet without sin. So he will come to our aid. He will sympathize with our weaknesses. What a glorious promise we have in Jesus that he walked on this earth and he's calling us to walk in the similar manner as we 7:11 saw in 1 John 2:6 and he's suffered and tempted and he can come to help us. Um so some of the things that I want to focus today about the life of Jesus how he lived on this earth uh he taught us the lord's prayer in the beginning 7:29 itself it says hallowed be thy name right and Jesus from the beginning uh even at the age of 12 he when he was lost in the temple when and his mom and his dad they found the parents found him and they were worried uh don't you know 7:45 that I must be in my father's business. I must be in my father's business. From the childhood, he was taken up with his father's business doing the father's will and living for our father's glory. Hallowed be thy name and uh and then as 8:01 part of that because he lived only to do father's will he did make a lot of enemies. Um he did not care about pleasing people. He did not care about pleasing the religious people or he did not even p uh try to protect his own 8:16 glory or reputation. He was so concerned about father's glory and father's reputation. He himself said if you have if you speak anything against me you're forgiven. In Mark 3 28-29 28-29 Mark chapter 3 it says truly I say 8:33 to you all sins shall be forgiven the sons of men and whatever blasphemes they utter but whoever blasphems against the holy spirit um they will never have forgiveness but is guilty of an eternal sin and this is a uh this is a serious 8:51 warning but the point I want to make is when you say something against Jesus Jesus saying you're forgiven But when you say something against the Holy Spirit that become that can be a dangerous sin. Um so he's not even worried about what people say to him or 9:06 or insult him. But he's he's already forgiven. He's only he's taken up with father's business. In the very beginning of the gospel of John, if you see John chapter 2, if you can turn John chapter 2, the verses which talk about Jesus 9:23 cleansing the temple. So John 2 13-6. Let's read quickly. The Passover of the Jews was near and Jesus went to went up to Jerusalem. And he found the temple, those who were selling oxen and sheep and the doves and 9:43 the money changers seated at their tables. And he made a scorge of carts and drove them all out of the temple with the sheep and oxen. And he poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. And to those who were selling the doves, 10:00 he said, "Take these things away. Stop making my father's house a place of business." And his disciples remembered that it was written, "The zeal for your house will consume me." So for the Passover when a lot of people 10:15 come to Jerusalem there are money changers who take money and exchange his oxen and sheep and the doves because these poor people who are are supposed to offer something and they're taking advantage of them exploiting them and 10:28 making money out of their need and Jesus saw that and he did not he was not silent how can you make my father's house a place of business it's supposed to be a house of prayer And do you think it he will be popular if he does that? 10:45 How you know how many enemies he would have made in that one single day as he did all of that? He threw away the money changers tables. He pushed them out and uh all of that and the religious leaders probably there would have got some cut. So they would 11:00 be upset. The people who are making the money are upset. Everyone is upset. But his goal is my father's glory is at stake and I must cleanse his temple. And that's why the I think Jesus uh when the disciples thought about this action they 11:18 thought about this verse the zeal for your house will consume. That's how Jesus lived. The zeal for father's house consumed. And um uh that's why he's when he said this prayer hallowed be thym he meant it. Uh the question was I was 11:35 asking about myself uh is how much concerned I am about father's house. Is it hallowed be thy name or hallowed be my name? Is it my name or my reputation that is more important or it's only the father's reputation which is most 11:49 important to me and god always uses the people who have that burden and passion for father's name uh and to to build his church. So I pray uh my encouragement for all of us to look at Jesus. We ought also walk in the same manner. Look at 12:05 his uh passion for the purity of the temple. And may God help us to see that clearly and so that we can walk in his footsteps. And basically he he was diametrically opposed to a lot of these religious leaders and he he was insulted 12:21 a lot uh throughout his life. I wrote down few things just for us to see what are the things that Jesus had to go through. uh and a lot of uh lot of lot of names, right? He was called a gluttonous man. He was a drunkard and a 12:37 friend of sinners. In um Matthew 11:19, you don't have to look up, but these are the names he was called. He was called a gluttonous man, a drunkard, and a friend of sinners and tax collectors. He was also called, "Hey, you are driving out 12:51 these demons by Beiel, the ruler of demons." And other times he said they said um in John 8:441 it says they said to him we were not born of fornication. We have one father God doing some interaction they're saying to Jesus we 13:08 were not born of fornication. What does it mean? They're indirectly saying that Jesus you were born of fornication. We don't know who your who your father was. They know that g Mary was Mary became pregnant even before they get got 13:19 married. And uh so they he he was accused of being born of fornication. And also sometimes they call him demonp possessed. Uh the Jews answered and said to him in John 8, "Do we not say rightly that you are a Samaritan and you have a 13:37 demon?" Has anyone said that to you? Do you have a demon? Jesus was insulted or he he received that accusation. You have a demon. And um during the time when he was taken up before the cross, he was blindfolded. 13:53 He was taunted to prophecy who hit him. Uh in Luke 22, he says they blindfolded him and they were asking and they hit him and say prophecy who is the one who has hit you. Have you ever gone through this kind of situations? Jesus went 14:11 through before us and that's why when we face similar situations he will come to our aid and also on the on the cross and so many things happened I mean this is not a comprehensive list just wanted to highlight few things and people who are 14:24 passing by they were hurling abuse at him he saved others but he cannot save himself and one of the thieves uh there are two thieves who were hanging on the cross one of them said hey are you not the Christ saved yourself and us and uh 14:39 They were wagging their heads and oh you said you're going to destroy the temple. look how helpless you are and uh everyone was sort of even the p people who were passing by they were throwing insults and abused him uh while he was 14:53 hanging on the cross and so Jesus went through all of that and let's see how he reacted that's that's what I want to focus on when we receive uh so that we can also find uh see the Jesus footprints when because he has gone 15:10 ahead of us in all these situations Um we may not go through exactly like this but something similar when we are insulted or reviled what how do we react? So please turn to first Peter chapter 2. 15:28 1 Peter chapter 2 So chapter 2 he says uh let's start with 15:49 verse 20 for what credit is there if when you sin and and are harshly treated you endure it with patience but if when you do what is right and suffer for it you patiently endure it this finds favor with God and 16:06 then he goes to next verse verse 21 for you have been called for this purpose since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in his steps. Again, simp something similar to 1 John 2:6. And Peter has 16:23 witnessed how Jesus reacted, how Jesus acted in those situations when he received that uh insults and abuse. Uh you have been called for this very purpose. when you do suffer for what you do for doing what is right and you 16:38 patiently endure you find favor with God and uh it talks about because Peter was right there when all these things happen and verse 22 he says he committed no sin nor was any deceit found in his mouth one of the first thing we could do when 16:52 we receive the uh insults and abuse and all of that we can say something with our mouth but Jesus was not like that Jesus did not no deceit was found in his mouth and going On to verse 23. While being reviled or insulted. In other 17:08 versions it says he did not revile in return. While suffering he uttered no threats but kept entrusting himself to him who judges righteously. Kept entrusting himself to himself to him who judges 17:26 righteously to him to the father. So he did not when he received this revile uh insults he did not revile back under suffering he uttered no threats. Um so and then he continuously entrusted himself to the father and something 17:43 similar like even in Hebrews 12 there is a verse which talks about he endured the hostility of the sinners. uh he experienced that hostility in uh Hebrews 12:2-3 uh he endured such hostility by sinners against himself so that we will not grow 18:00 weary and lose heart we have an example sorry we have an example to look onto Jesus who experienced all of that when we when we go through similar situations we have an example to follow and Jesus continuously entrusted himself to the 18:16 Lord and when we live for the Lord when we want to do what is right and pleasing to the Lord. Don't expect the world or sometimes even the religious leaders to treat you nicely. Uh we we we will face opposition. We will face lot of uh 18:30 things that Jesus faced. But as Jesus, we can entrust our everything to the lord to the father. Uh and um there is a quote that I read recently. It says our true worth is measured by our reactions in adversity not in plenty or honor. 18:47 What is our true worth? Like it's like a bottle of perfume. When it is shaken up, shaken up, shaken up, even if it is shaken up so hard. If the bottle is full of sweet perfume, it will only release a perfume, not a bitterness. But if 19:01 there's something uh this shaking is releasing something bitter, that means there was something inside. So our true worth is measured by how we react in adversity. Um I heard some story, I think this was shared by brother Zach. 19:14 There was someone who was acting like Jesus in a drama and he was wearing the crown of thorns. He was uh on the cross and someone was supposed to spit on him uh as part of the drama because that is in the gospels and he was supposed to 19:27 act as if he's spitting but he actually spat on him and this guy said you spat on me let me come down and I will settle accounts with you. He was so upset because at that moment he forgot that he was acting the real self came out. So 19:42 are we like that under adversity under uh and when we are going through opposition hostility is the makeup gone? Are we acting like Jesus or we are really being transformed into the image of Jesus? That is a true test. And thank 19:57 God when we face such situations when someone cuts before us, someone does something to us, something comes out. Thank God it came out. Okay, I was thinking that I grew in this area but thank God it came out. Now I can work on 20:11 it. So it's not let's not work on putting a makeup of how Christ looks like. It's a real nature the divine nature. God has given all the promises to partake in his nature. That's why we have his example. That's why we can 20:24 continuously be filled with the Holy Spirit. He did not return evil for evil or insult for insult. But he was blessing the people in as written in 1 Peter 3:9. This is the this is the Christ we want to follow. This is not we 20:38 are not just going to admire him. We are not just going to say I am a Christian and all. This is the we must be taken up with the desire to follow him exactly the way he lived. Lord if I am going through the same situations please come 20:52 help me. I want I you will sympathize with me in my weaknesses help me and I will call upon you. Um so I want to focus on these uh two things. Um how Jesus acted because he was interesting into the father's hands. Um 21:09 um sorry. Yeah. Even when um when he was uh people 21:27 came to arrest him, let's look at John chapter 18. This is a very good verse. I want all of us to read. John 18:1. So the people came to arrest Jesus and 21:49 um you know you can read I mean I don't have time to go through all the verses you can read uh yourself but one thing I want to say is what he's I want to focus on what Jesus said in verse 11 when because when people came to arrest him 22:04 uh one of the high priest slave was there and Peter took a sword and cut his ear right that's what happened and it is written in other gospels too but this is what Jesus said to Peter put the sword into the sheath. The cup which the 22:18 father has given me, shall I not drink it? So when the people came, this people who came to arrest him, they are the messengers, but the message is from the father and this cup is from the father. Shall I not drink it? There was another 22:32 uh gospel. It says uh Jesus saying stop no more of this. Uh people do don't you think that I can call my father who can send me 12 legions of armies to defend me? No, I'm not going to do that. This is exactly why God father has called me. 22:45 This is the cup I'm going to receive from the father and take the sword and put it back. And he Jesus healed the person who came to arrest him. That is the Jesus I want to follow. Back in India we had uh things like a telegram uh in back those days when we 23:02 don't have telephones and all of that when there is a bad news grandmother grandmother expired please start immediately something like that. So the postman comes and delivers a telegram and that is a bad news and I should not 23:14 be angry at the messenger who g brought the bad news. The news is the important thing and here Jesus is not looking at these people who are arresting him and all of that. He's looking at the message is that this cup is my from from my 23:27 father. Will I not drink it? Shall I not drink it? So do we see our situations like that? Is this my father? uh as the in the in the song that we sing day by day when the toil and trouble meeting help me Lord to take it as if it is from 23:41 my father's hand all the trials that we go through the opposition we go through can we take it as if it is coming my father's hand that's why Jesus was entrusting everything back to back to the father so he's not defending himself 23:54 he he could have called his father to defend but he did not because he took it as his it's a cup coming from the father um even when he And Pilate said in John chapter 19, don't you you do not speak to me like this? Don't you know that I 24:09 have authority to release you and I have authority to crucify you? You know what Jesus said? You would have no authority over me unless it had been given to you from above. For this reason, he who delivered me as greatest. The point is 24:23 even if my boss comes and says okay now we are uh like you know we are eliminating your job or doing something or someone does something like that. We could say you don't have any authority. Your authority is because the authority 24:35 is given by my father. So I what an example I have here to see that everything is my father has allowed in my life this uh situation this difficulty this trial then I can entrust to him. I don't have to defend myself. Uh father calls you are the apple of my 24:52 eye. He will defend me. He will take care of me. And that's why he did not return insult for insult. He issued no threats under suffering. That's the Jesus I want to follow. And the second thing uh is from from how Jesus reacted. 25:07 I would say he was so rooted in father's love. He was so rooted in father's love. Uh let's read John 16:32 quickly. John chapter 16:32. Behold the hour is coming indeed it has 25:24 come when you will all be scattered. each one to his own and you will leave me alone yet I'm not alone for the father is with me for the father is with me he knows that everyone will be scattered but he's 25:42 he's so rooted in father's love even if everyone deserts him his own closest disciples who worked with Jesus for three and a half years they're all going to leave him but his source of strength his source of power is my father is with 25:57 me. He will never leave me nor forsake me because I always do things that please him. My father said in this this is my beloved son in whom I'm very very well pleased. And Jesus knows that he won't die one day or one hour or 1 26:10 minute before the father's appointed time. And he never fought against the flesh and the blood. He had no human enemies. We are also called in Ephesians chapter 6 do not our res our fight is not against the flesh and blood but 26:25 against the principalities and the powers and the rulers of darkness and the spiritual wickedness in high places is is are we fighting against the flesh and blood in these situations. Uh think about even sometimes the wife and 26:38 husband when we fight um um is is our focus on these human beings or on the real enemy? um uh Ephesians 6 if you meditate clearly are we are not wrestling against the flesh and blood it is a spiritual forces of darkness I 26:55 should spend all my energy all my bandwidth on the real enemy not on the flesh and blood and uh Jesus also because he was so rooted in father's love uh he had no self-pity let's read this verse uh in Luke 23:28 Luke 23:28 27:13 when Jesus was carrying the cross. There's a woman of Jerusalem. They were coming and weeping for Jesus. Weeping for Jesus. But Jesus turned to them and said this one I I want all of us to read. Daughters of Jerusalem, stop 27:30 weeping for me, but weep for yourself and for your children. I'm fine. My father is with me. I'm fine. Weep for yourself and your children. Uh so he had zero self-pity. I know when we go through some situations we can we enter 27:46 into this uh uh the pit of self-pity and I want to stay there and wallow there and see how my life has become like this I everyone is opposing me and I nobody understands me and all of that but Jesus was so rooted in father's love he says 28:01 don't don't cry for me daughters of Jerusalem weep for yourself and for your children and um what I and because of he was so rooted in father's love he's able to bless those who who came to arrest him like the person whose ear was cut he 28:17 was able to heal like bless those who persecute you love your enemies on the cross he was praying for the people who are putting him on the cross father forgive them but they don't know what they are doing in the midst of this 28:33 immense suffering you know on the cross it's very difficult to take to breathe you you can understand you're hanging on the cross And you have to literally push yourself up, create some space for the lungs to expand so that you can take 28:47 breathe. So he was hanging on the cross like that for hours and and he could only say few words like seven words, right? Uh we meditate on one of them is he saw all these people hurling abuses and insults and even the thief on the 29:02 cross on one side he is also saying why don't you save yourself and oh you said you'll destroy the temple. what's going on. In in the midst of all of that, he's praying for them. Father, forgive them for they don't know what they are doing. 29:18 Let's ask ourselves how many times we prayed that prayer for those who are who uh with with whom we have a issue or uh who is opposing us or who have done something harm to us. Father forgive them for they don't know what they are 29:32 doing. This is the Christ we want to follow. It's not just we can adore. We this is the in these footsteps I want to follow and I know in my human nature it is difficult it is not difficult it is impossible but that's why we want the 29:47 power of the Holy Spirit it is like when someone does something good I do good that is human right he does good I do good he treats me nicely I treat nicely that's human if someone does good and I do harm that is devilish that is demonic 30:02 right harming someone who does good but doing good to someone who does harm is divine nature and that's a divine nature we're not going to do with on our own flesh uh strength of the flesh but through the power of the holy spirit and 30:16 finally I want to read some verses from Isaiah 53 this explains this is a great chapter uh about the suffering servant of Jesus Christ our lord Um Isaiah 53:3, 30:39 he was despised and forsaken of men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. All these verses are talking about the Lord. He was despised and forsaken of men. He was not treated nicely. Uh he was a man of sorrows and 30:55 surely and verse four, surely our griefs he himself bore and our sorrows he carried. Yet we ourselves esteemed him stricken. And verse five, he was pierced through for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The 31:10 chastening of our well-being fell upon him. And by his corgging we are healed. All of us like sheep have gone astray. Each of us have turned to his own way. But the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on him. And these are the 31:26 verses mo most important verses for the message I'm sharing. He was oppressed and he was afflicted yet he did not open his mouth. Like a lamb that is led to slaughter and like a sheep that is silent before its sheerers. So he did 31:43 not open his mouth. He did not open his mouth. Like Peter, are we taking the sword in a in a sense literally the there he took the sword but we could use our words. Sword or word? Our words can be like the swords cutting into others 32:01 lives. And you know there is a verse in proverbs which says death and life are in the power of tongue. We can literally cause death or life with our words we speak. There's so much power. But Jesus when he was going through oppression and 32:13 affliction he did not open his mouth. He entrusted himself to the father. His cause to the father. My father will defend. My vindication will defend. Yes he was vindicated by the spirit when he rose again on the third day. He did not 32:26 vindicate himself. Father vindicated him and he did not take matter into his own hands. But he continuously kept interesting. Think about this word. He kept interesting. Throughout our life, we can entrust our cause to the father. 32:40 He will take care of us. Uh verse 10 to the Lord was pleased to crush him and putting him to grief. Um so when the iniquity of us all was laid on him uh uh and Jesus because of his anguish uh as a result of the anguish of his soul he 32:59 will see it and be satisfied. The sins of all of us was laid upon laid on him and he did not he was not blaming others. He took all the blame upon himself even though he did no sin and this is the Christ I want to lift up. 33:13 This is the Christ I want to follow. This is the Christ I want to preach and teach and uh may our church look onto Jesus, fix our eyes on Jesus, examine his life, how he lived every day so that we also can walk in the similar manner. 33:31 And we have a helper. We have a helper Holy Spirit uh to guide us to help us to see some of the things that may not be written clearly in the Bible about Jesus life. Holy Spirit will help us to see even more clearly. Lord, help me like 33:46 father, like Jesus, father, help me to entrust my cause to you and to be rooted in your love so that I can bless those who persecute me and uh and I I can also pray for them like you'd pray. Father, forgive them for they don't know what 34:00 they are doing. May the Lord help us. Thank you. Thank you brother for the encouragement. As we were reminded 34:25 from John chapter 2, zeal for the purity of God's house consumed Jesus. That's John chapter 2 verse1 17. We as his followers 34:43 we ought to walk like our lord did our lord Jesus Christ has walked on this earth for him it's like it's so clear many examples brother showed us that even he was called all 35:00 kind of names humiliation insult ridiculed nothing because he was so sure that people's opinions 35:17 are a fit for trash. For him only one vote matters. One person's opinion was so sure he was seeking that and um we are to walk in that example. I 35:36 want to show you one verse from 1 Corinthians chapter 7 in this line of um how we can live this life pleasing to God alone not not trying to please people. 35:54 1 Corinthians chapter 7 here we see um a debate about circumcision and uncircumcision and verse 22 see that for he who was called in the Lord while a slave is the 36:11 Lord's free man likewise he who was called while free is Christ's slave verse 23 You were bought with a price. 36:28 Do not become slaves of men. Yeah. We read in multiple times from Galatians 1:10 also. If we try to please men, we cannot be bond servants of God. 36:46 Because who paid for us? As we read here, it is the Lord Jesus Christ. He went through all this humiliation and insult and finally he died on the cross and then he bought us. He bought us a free man 37:05 with it is salvation is free but it costed a lot to God. That's the life of Jesus Christ. That's the foundation. That's why we try to please we try to we live to please God not men. 37:23 As we were uh reminded in the beginning in uh in few days we are going to um partake in Lord's table. Brothers and sisters please 37:38 um examine your heart um individually. Few verses from 1 Corinthians chapter 11. Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner shall be guilty of the 37:56 Lord body and the blood of the Lord. But a man must examine himself in so doing he is to eat eat of the bread and drink the cup. If we judge ourselves verse 31 rightly, we would not be judged. Verse 32. But when we are judged, we are 38:19 disciplined by the Lord so that we will not be condemned along with the world. So this is what Jesus lived for. He want to hear from the Lord that well done. Well done my servant. Well done my son. Well done my daughter. So may we all be 38:35 encouraged throughout the week to hear this testimony from the Lord. And he is cheering for us. Um he's uh he is our helper. He is our provider. May the 38:51 purity of God's house, your body individually may the be the consuming fire throughout the week. I believe the Lord will help us and uh let us pray. Let us pray and ask the Lord to help us uh throughout the 39:10 week to to live for him. Our heavenly father, we thank you so much for the great burden you had to seek the lost. You sacrificed 39:28 your begotten son for our salvation to enable us to call you above father. Thank you Lord. Thank you Lord Jesus. You went through such a humiliation way and many insults 39:45 to save me David to save each one of us from the hellfire and to be come into a privilege and a free life of calling God holy God.
