It was meant [snorts] to point us to the real light. This was Jesus. [music] And that's the permanent 6:40 perfect light. And as I was thinking of those lines, I was thinking of of the many good things in my life. um good messages and [music] good fellowship, good songs that we're singing this morning. And all of those are lesser 6:54 lights. Even though they're good, they're meant to lead me to the true light, the pure light. Even this morning, we come to our Sunday meeting not just to hear a good message or sing a few [clears throat] good songs, to 7:05 have a good time of fellowship, but truly to be led to the true light. We're going to sing a few lines here. The bride's eyes are not for her garment, but her dear bridegroom's face. She's not taken up or does not gaze at glory, 7:20 [music] but gazes on her king of grace. Not at the crown, not even at the crown that he gives, but on his pierced [music] hand. And the lamb is all the glory in Emanuel's land in in [music] our midst this morning. The lamb is all the glory. 7:33 It's not anything else that we get taken up with. It's not even the good feeling of fellowship that we get here or [music] great messages, the true doctrine, but it's the lamb. He is all the glory. And a true bridegroom has 7:47 eyes only for her bride. A true bride has only eyes for her bride. And the Lord is looking at [music] us this morning. These songs that we are singing. So truly to him, we truly come here to to meet with our bridegroom to 8:00 hear a word [music] from his mouth and to sing his praises alone. Let's do that as we sing the rest of our songs. To turn our eyes away from every other distraction, every other even good thing, and to fix our eyes only [music] 8:12 on our bridegroom, on his nailpierced hands, on his head that was pierced by those by those thorns, [music] by his side that was wounded for us.
