0:16 Yesterday I shared with you a little expression from Luke chapter 11 verse 36, "Having no dark part in it." 0:46 I hope you will remember that phrase. Having no dark part in it. In your life, there must be no dark part. That means it doesn't mean that you 1:10 never sin, you but as soon as you sin, you cleanse it, repent, and confess it. There is no believer who can say, "From now on, I will never 1:28 commit a sin in my life." Then people say, "Then what is the difference between you and all the other churches? They're also saying the same thing." Then what do you mean by preaching 1:48 victory over sin? I'll explain to you. You see a little 9-month-old baby trying to walk and falling. So many times. 2:08 We can say he has not learned to walk. But I have learned to walk. But I can never say I will never fall. I can trip on some stone on the road and 2:26 fall. Who of you can say from now on I'll never fall anywhere in my life? No, we all accidentally we trip somewhere, fall down. But you have learned to walk. 2:48 Learning to walk, that is victory over sin. That means I have learned to say no to temptation. That is the same attitude that Jesus had to temptation. Many people are confused by our saying 3:10 that we must walk like Jesus walked. It is because people don't read the Bible carefully. See, the Bible says 1 John chapter 2 verse 6. If anyone says that he abides in Christ, 3:36 he must walk in the same manner as Jesus walked. Now, I want to ask you, have you ever heard a message on that except in our church? I've been a believer 52 years, I've 3:58 never heard it. I've never heard it in any denomination. I've never heard it on the internet or television or anywhere. Nobody preaches on it. How can a preacher preach on it when he doesn't believe it, he doesn't practice 4:15 it? How can a preacher preach on it when he doesn't believe it, he doesn't practice it? So, I say if there is some verse in the Bible which you don't believe is possible, take a pen and cut it out and say this is not the word of 4:42 That is what these preachers should do. I will never preach on this verse because this is not possible. This is not the word of God. That is not scratched out from anybody's Bible. They read it. 5:01 But they don't practice it. They insult God by saying, "You have told us to do something which we cannot do." Isn't that right? 5:19 If this is impossible, then God has told us to do something which is impossible. Will you tell your children to do something impossible? Will you tell your children to carry 500 kilos on their head? No, there's no stupid father like that. 5:44 But we are accusing God of being a stupid father for saying something which is not possible. When you come to the scriptures, if you cannot 6:01 do it, don't accuse God. Say, "I cannot do it." Because I don't I don't have faith. In the Bible, everything is dependent on faith. We can say faith is like strength of 6:20 faith is like money. Can you lift 100 kilos? No. Somebody can. Weightlifters and all lift much more than that. But I can't lift even 10% of what they 6:41 lift. Because I don't have so much strength. Faith is like that. One man looks at 300 kilos and says, "I can lift it." And he lifts it. 6:59 I I can't even lift it from the ground. That fellow lifts it over his head. Faith is like that. So, if you can't have faith, don't say nobody can do it. Just because I cannot lift 300 kilos 7:18 doesn't mean he cannot lift it. So, just because you don't have faith for something, don't say nobody can have faith for that. If you take the position, "Yeah, if God has said it, my faith can rise up to 7:37 that level." See, that fellow is lifting 300 kilos. He could not lift it when he was 5 years old. He has slowly developed from 30, 50, 100, 200, 300. The same way, faith grows. 8:02 Just like you want your children to grow from one class to another to another, our faith must grow. When you believe that Jesus died for your sins and he's forgiven you. That is kindergarten class. 8:23 That's good. But many Christians are sitting in the kindergarten class all their life. They don't have faith for anything more. So, here is a verse which says we must walk as he walked. That doesn't mean that we have become 8:45 like Jesus. That means completely we are become like him. That is written in 1 John 3 verse 2. See the difference between 1 John 2:6 and 1 John 3:2. In 1 John 3:2, it says, "When he appears 9:08 second time, then we will be like him." There's a difference between becoming like Jesus which will happen only when he comes again. That refers to my total personality. Where in my entire being, inside, 9:30 outside, there'll be no smell of sin. It will be completely removed from my life. I will be like him. But that will happen only when he comes again. And until that day, 9:51 it says in verse 3, we have to keep on purifying ourselves and become more and more like him. That is the purpose of all our church meetings and our conferences. 1 John 3:3 10:10 We want to purify ourselves till we become like Jesus Christ more and more. So, I only want to attend meetings where I can purify myself and become more like Christ. I I I only want to read books that will 10:28 challenge me to become more like Christ. There are so many Christian books in the bookshop. I don't have time to waste money or time reading all of that. Give me a book that will challenge me to 10:45 become more like Jesus Christ. That will give me faith that I can walk as Jesus walked. That is the only type of book I want to waste my money buying and reading. Rest is all a waste of time. 11:06 The same thing with CDs. There are hundreds of CDs now. So many CDs on music and all that. But you will never hear a song about any mute song that tells you you can walk as Jesus walked. All the songs are God is such a comfort 11:29 to me and he will help me and he will do this for me and He will do all the unimportant things for me but never do the most important thing for me. That means he will give me money, he'll give me house, he'll give me job, but he 11:49 won't deliver me from sin. That is a very foolish type of uh faith. Supposing your child has got cancer and also his shirt and pant are also 12:09 torn. And you're more worried about stitching his shirt and pant than taking him to the doctor to cure him of his cancer. And you always want to buy him new clothes and all that and you don't want 12:26 to treat him for his cancer. Or when he has played and come home dirty, you give him a nice bath, but you don't take him to the hospital for the cancer. I say you're a foolish father. 12:46 What is the use buying him new clothes and giving him a bath if you don't heal him of the most serious thing? So, what type of God do we have in heaven? What type of father is he? 13:04 He'll give me new clothes. He'll wash my body when I'm dirty. But he won't heal me of the cancer of my sin. Then I say he's a useless father. And that is what many Christians 13:22 believe. My useless father in heaven you will give me all the material things, but you won't solve my biggest problem. I say that is the difference in what we preach. We have a loving father in heaven 13:43 who will help us to be free from the biggest problem in our life, which is not lack of money or lack of a bigger house. Let me ask you if you are a mother or father. And your child is seriously sick with 14:00 cancer and the doctor has given up hope. And some rich multi-millionaire comes to you and says there is a good doctor in some other town, but it's very expensive treatment. Guaranteed 14:23 cure of all cancer. What do you want me to do for you? One of two things. I will pay for the entire treatment of your child to be cured of cancer. Or I will buy you a new house, big 14:46 house. Which do you want? And you're living in a small hut. Which will you choose? You tell me. You say, "Please give me a new house. It doesn't matter if my child dies of 15:05 the cancer." Then I will say you're a useless, good-for-nothing father or mother. In that picture, you have a picture of the two gospels that are being preached 15:23 in Christianity today. That is the difference between what we preach and what most other people are preaching. It's important to know that this new generation that's coming up must not 15:42 think we are all preaching the same thing. God will take care of our minimum physical needs, but he's more interested in the serious thing in our life. If you honor God, he will never allow 16:02 you to starve. That I can guarantee you. He will never allow you to sleep on the streets. David was nearly 70 years old when he wrote a psalm. Psalm 37. 16:24 Most of the psalms he wrote as a young man. But one psalm he wrote when he was an old man. And see what his testimony is. Psalm 37. In verse 16:46 25. I was young. Now I'm an old man. But in all my life, I have never seen a righteous man forsaken by God. And I have never seen his children or 17:04 his grandchildren or his great-grandchildren begging for bread. Do you know that if you honor God, God 17:23 will bless even your grandchildren and great-grandchildren? He's not saying that he will make them all millionaires. If he makes them all multi-millionaires, they may go away from God also. But he says none of them will beg for 17:45 bread. What does that mean in practical terms? I'll tell you. In in today in India and in the world if I were to paraphrase that verse your children will get jobs. 18:05 Your grandchildren will get jobs. Your great-grandchildren will get jobs. That is the meaning of they will not beg for bread. But are you happy with your children getting a job? But they're living in sin. 18:28 I say, "Lord, what is the use of that? If you don't heal them from sin, what is the use they're getting the job?" I don't want this big house. I want healing from the cancer. Some of you are very happy when your children got jobs and they got good 18:46 marriages. That is your main prayer. Lord, please give them good jobs and give them good marriage partners. That's that's all good. 19:06 But compare how many prayers you pray for that with how many prayers you pray for, "Lord, please free my children from sin in their life." That shows how much you love your 19:26 children. Every godless atheist wants his children to have good marriages and good jobs. The prayers of Christians are just like those atheists. That shows the parents themselves have 19:49 not seen how serious sin is. What does the Bible say? Jesus died on the cross so that you know we can all have good houses. He died on the cross so that we can all get good jobs. No. 20:09 Christ died not even to heal us from our sicknesses. He died to save us from our sins. Do you think if the only problem that man had on the earth was not there was no good housing, God would have sent his son to the earth to die? 20:32 No. No. No. No. God would not have sent his son if man's only problem is he doesn't have good houses. No. God did not send his son to give our children good marriages. Those are all the bonus. 20:53 You know like in a factory you get salary every month and then at the end of the year you get a bonus. That means they may give you one month salary at the end of the year free. But how many people will work in a 21:15 factory if they say we'll give you no salary, we'll give you one month bonus at the end of the year? Will you take a job in a factory like that? No. So in the Christian life, what is the 21:32 salary and what is the bonus? What does God give us? Salary is being free from sin. Bonus. House. Health. All earthly needs. 21:51 Don't confuse the two. We have to see very clearly in our eyes the most important thing for me and for my children is to be free from sin. And we have to teach them that from 22:13 childhood. Because even in the schools now there's so much of corruption. All the children are cheating in their examinations. So we have to teach our children you must never cheat. You must not look at somebody else's 22:33 paper. You must not show your paper to somebody else. That is more difficult. Not look at another person's paper is easy. But when your friend is sitting next to 22:51 you and say show me the answer to this and you say no oh, you will be the most unpopular student in your class. Do you teach your children to do that 23:10 saying no, I'm sorry, I will not show you. That boy may tell all the others and beat up your child also outside after the Okay. I'm willing to let my children get beaten but they will not dishonor God. I remember when my children were at 23:32 school. The most difficult subject for our children was Hindi. Other subjects were a little easier. So then there was a news in the town 23:50 that the Hindi paper has leaked. That if you pay so much money you can get this Hindi paper. I told my children even if somebody 24:13 gives me the Hindi paper free, I will not show it to you before the exam. What a bad father I am. I will not show the question paper to my children. Because I don't want my children to pass 24:37 in Hindi. I want them to pass in life. What about your children? Do we teach them some values? Would Jesus cheat in an examination? No. 24:56 Then neither must we cheat in an examination. Will Jesus show his answer paper to the next person? No. He may help him before the examination. But after the exam during the examination, no. 25:15 See, our Christianity is tested in all these little things. To go and give money to somebody saying please give my son this job and don't select the other people. What is that? Do you think Jesus would 25:36 do that? So I say these are the things we emphasize in our church. Our children will not beg for bread. If you are righteous you can be sure in 6,000 years God has always honored the 25:55 righteous and their descendants. But there are many crorepatis whose children commit suicide and who become beggars after few generations. The main thing we teach in our churches 26:21 we must walk as Jesus walked. We haven't become like him. That will be happen only when he comes again. So what is the difference between walking as he walked and becoming like him? See, walking is something we consciously 26:42 do. We don't walk when we are asleep. No. It is not something we do unconsciously. Walking is a conscious action. I take a step and walk. Being like Jesus, that's referring to my 27:06 total personality. Then unconscious, unconscious, everything. So what is the meaning of those two verses? Walking as Jesus walked means in the conscious area of my life 27:25 I seek to live by the principles Jesus lived by. But inside me there may be a hundred areas I'm not even aware of where I may 27:42 BE UNLIKE JESUS. WHAT CAN I DO IF I DON'T KNOW? CAN you go for treatment for a sickness which you don't even know that you have? No. We go for treatment for a sickness 28:02 we know we have. So in our life there is a conscious area and unconscious area. And as we grow spiritually we will understand more and more of what is unconscious. You don't have to worry about the 28:27 unconscious area in your life. But what you know to be wrong that we must be free from. So what does it mean to walk as Jesus walked? We can look at another verse, Philippians 2. 28:47 Which will explain that. In Philippians 2 and verse 5 it's the same thing. It's said it's written in different words. Paul is saying exactly the same thing that John said in 1 John 2. In different words. 29:08 Have the same attitude that Jesus had. That means in everything have the same attitude that Jesus had. Brothers, how should you look at the 29:28 women? The same way Jesus looked at women. You don't look at women like Jesus looked at women. Then you must cleanse yourself. 29:45 How how should you cleanse yourself? Until you can look at every sister and every woman just like Jesus looked at them. Cleanse your vision. Cleanse your vision 30:04 continuously. And more and more your eyes become purer and purer. And when our eyes become purer our heart also gets a clearer vision of 30:23 Jesus Christ. Okay, what should be our attitude to money? The same attitude that Jesus had towards money. Did Jesus use money? 30:41 Of course. Did he have a savings account? You know that Jesus had a little bank run by Judas Iscariot? Of course, he never gave any interest. It was a bank that stole most of the 31:04 money. But he kept the money. He didn't get today's money and spend it today itself. That's not good that you get money and spend it all. We must learn to save. 31:25 That is why Judas had a bank. If you're spending all if Jesus is spending all the money the same day, then why should you have a bag? So we learn from that it's there's nothing wrong in having a savings account. Because tomorrow there may be a big 31:45 need. The Bible says go to the ant and learn how it saves up for the future. We have to save for some medical expense or children's education. So many But Jesus never loved money. 32:10 But he had. And he used it. And how did he look at money? He wasn't always thinking I must get more more more more more. He did not refuse money when people gave him. Some people think that if somebody gives 32:32 you a gift you should not take it. That is trying to become more spiritual than Jesus Christ. See Luke chapter 8 and verse 3. It says here Joanna, the wife of Chuza, 32:55 Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others were contributing to Jesus' support out of their private means. They gave them money from their private 33:18 means. Palace manager must have been earning a huge salary. He said yes, he told his wife, "Yeah, 33:34 please go and give this to Jesus." That would not have been two three rupees. It must have been many thousands he needs for his 12 disciples. Give. Because Jesus had 12 disciples to feed. 33:56 And Jesus accepted it. Teaching us that when you are like Jesus it is all right to receive money because you're serving God. Some people think we are against that in our church. We're not against that. We cannot become 34:17 more spiritual than Jesus. Some poor people gave little he took that. Some rich people gave much he took it. But what is it Jesus did not do? Jesus did not go to Herod's palace manager and say, "Can you please 34:37 contribute to our ministry? You know we are doing God's work and send a prayer letter. This is what we are doing. Can you please support our ministry?" Why didn't Jesus do that? 35:01 Because he was not a beggar. Many Christian preachers are beggars. They are beggars. They are Beggars in the name of Jesus Christ. Beggars. That is an insult to God. 35:22 Now one of the richest men in India today is a man called Mukesh Ambani. I don't know how many crores he has got. But supposing Mukesh Ambani's son comes to you. Can you please give me a 100 35:46 I'm doing some work. I need your money. See whose son are you? You're the son of the richest man in India and you're coming to me for money? I'll say I know why. 36:10 Your father has disinherited you so you're a beggar now. That is why you are coming. We can never imagine. But now we see another man. I know there 36:30 were other men but I can't recall. He says, "I am the son of the richest person in the universe, almighty God." Much bigger than Ambani and all. Can you please give us some money for 36:49 our ministry? I say you are the son of the richest person in the universe and you're coming to me for money? I know. 37:06 Your father has disinherited you. That is why. All these preachers who write letters saying give money for my ministry, give money for my work. They're all disinherited by God. We can ask him to give money to other 37:31 people. That is a good example. Jesus taught that. See one very very rich man once came to Jesus. Mark chapter 10. I'm teaching you to have the same 37:48 attitude that Jesus had. See, when some people see one rich man some people some rich people think that they are especially Christian workers. They're always hoping 38:07 I hope this man will give us some in my We have so much need in our ministry. Do you think Jesus had no need in his ministry with 12 people and they had no jobs, nothing? Some of them like Peter had families to 38:29 support. But when a rich man came to Jesus I know he was a rich man but he came to Jesus. Jesus was not thinking now how can I make him happy so that he will put his tithes in my offering boy? Those are all these third rate good for 38:51 nothing USELESS PASTORS WHO WE DON'T CARE IF SOME RICH MAN comes to our church or does not come. We are not excited if he comes. I don't know if he comes or not. We are not disappointed IF HE GOES. WE ARE EXCITED WHEN A GODLY HUMBLE MAN 39:12 COMES INTO OUR CHURCH. YEAH I DON'T KNOW IF HE COMES OR THAT'S HOW JESUS WAS. WHEN HE saw Nathanael in whom there is no guile. HE WAS SO EXCITED. There's a 39:30 MAN WHO'S NO GUILE. NATHANAEL WAS A POOR MAN. THOSE ARE THE people Jesus was excited with. There's a brother or sister in whom there is no guile. I'M A BROTHER OR SISTER IN WHOM THERE IS NO GUILE. I'm excited even if he's the poorest MAN IN 39:49 TOWN. WHEN JESUS SAW A RICH MAN COME Jesus tells him There's one problem with you. Verse 21. One thing you lack. You know what you must do? 40:12 Go and sell all that you possess. I think every pastor in the world will say like this. After you sell all that you possess you write a check for our ministry. 40:37 Because we have great needs. We are working here. We are working there. We are running running this orphanage and that Bible school. Jesus didn't say that. He said, "When you have sold everything 40:56 and then you have these crores of rupees I don't bring it here. Go and give it to all the poor people. You come to me without your money." Have you ever heard a preacher preach 41:17 that? Go and give your money somewhere else and come without your money. I've done it. I remember once going to one person in Bangalore. He was not in our church. 41:35 He was coming to hear the word of God. And having had bad experience with many other preachers, he was wondering what we are after. I visited his home. I said, "Please give all your money to 41:55 whichever church you belong. Give your membership also there. We don't want your membership. We don't want your money. Come and hear the word of God freely. 42:16 We want your life to be changed. That's all. I said, "That is where we differ from other churches. Because Jesus was like that. Give to the others. Don't See once when the Lord told Judas 42:35 Iscariot, "Go and do what you want to do you're supposed to do." John 13. John 13:27. The disciples did not know what he was saying. And they thought 42:54 "We know that always Jesus is telling Judas to do two things. Only two things. What are those two things? Verse 29. Buy what you need. Buy what we need. 43:14 Second give to the poor. You want to know how to spend your money? There it is. Jesus' way of spending money. Buy what you need. No, even if you need a washing machine, 43:32 buy it. You don't have to feel guilty buying a washing machine or a refrigerator. So long as you're not begging and borrowing. You can buy whatever you need. You want to build a house? Buy what you 43:52 need to build a house. Also give something to the poor. He didn't say give everything to the poor. Buy what you need. That comes first. Then give something to the poor. 44:11 That is why Paul also he wrote he wrote writes in 2 Corinthians chapter 8 and chapter 9. There are some poor believers in Jerusalem. Please send some money. But never once did Paul say, "I'm doing the Lord's work. Please support my 44:28 ministry." There's something Jesus taught about giving money also. There are two or three principles in concerning giving money in scripture. Then you will understand why we don't 44:48 take a collection in the meeting. Now, I'm saying all this for the benefit of the new generation that is rising up to become leaders in our church. I'm not going to be here forever and I'm 45:09 not I cannot be everywhere in any case. Paul said to Timothy, "Teach other people all the things I taught you very clearly." That is why I want to make these things 45:28 clear. Jesus taught in Matthew chapter 6 concerning giving money. Matthew 6 verse 3 is a fundamental principle of giving money. Whether you give to God or give to the 45:46 poor or any type of giving. When you give arms, Matthew 6, don't let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. So that your arms will be in secret. 46:08 And your father who sees in secret will repay How can you do that if you take an offering bag in front of people? Or in some places they keep a box and make everybody come and put there. That is a cleverer way because nobody 46:33 can escape. Bag means you can pass it on to the next fellow. But when you come in line, you cannot escape. Everybody has to put So many clever ways people discovered to 46:51 make people give their money. Openly let everybody see what you're putting. It is teaching people how to DISOBEY JESUS CHRIST. IMAGINE TEACHING A CHURCH HOW TO DISOBEY 47:12 JESUS CHRIST. JESUS SAID, "DON'T LET YOUR LEFT HAND KNOW WHAT YOUR RIGHT hand is doing." and we are teaching everybody to disobey that. Every church it is like that. And in some church they even ask you to 47:31 write your name on the envelope and make sure that everybody knows you gave it. Entrance and your name ready to We have churches around the world today that are teaching people to disobey Jesus Christ. I would rather sit at home alone than 47:53 join such a church. Don't let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. That means don't let another member of the body of Christ know what you are doing. Don't let that brother or sister know 48:17 what you did. Once one brother asked me a question. Brother, my parents are very poor. They spent so much money educating me, gave me a job. Now they're 48:36 Now they're old. I have to support them. But my wife says you must not give any money to your parents. What shall I do? I said, "Don't let the left hand know 48:52 what the right hand is doing." Your wife is your left hand. Don't let her know what the right hand is That is don't have a fight at home. And you're obeying the word of God. 49:13 You have to care for your parents, of course. The other principle in scripture in 2 Corinthians 9 and verse 7 We must not give grudgingly or under 49:31 compulsion, but God loves a cheerful giver. We teach people whatever you give, give cheerfully. If you don't have any money one month to 49:51 give, don't give anything. I am the only preacher I think who's gone around telling people don't give anything if you don't have any money to spare. God is a millionaire, billionaire. He is not coming like a beggar saying, 50:13 "Will you please give me some money for my work?" If you give, give cheerfully. If you're not happy to give, don't give. Somebody here there must be an offering box for the 50:31 conference. I don't know where it is. Who should put there? Only those who can give cheerfully. If you don't want to give cheerfully, don't put any money there. And Jesus also said when you come to put 50:52 the money, you remember that somebody is you have to settle something with somebody. Don't put that money. Go and settle that first. I remember in our CFC offering box once 51:09 we had that verse there. Please settle matters with your brother sister before putting here. So, man is going to put 100 rupees. He sees that verse. Don't don't put it. 51:31 Praise the Lord. We are happy when people are settling matters with others. That is more important to us than our his 100 rupees. Have you had a fight with your wife? Please put your money back in your 51:48 pocket and go and settle with your wife. Have you ever heard such preaching anywhere? Not only in India, this is probably the only place in the world you hear such things. Because every preacher is interested in 52:07 your money. Except Jesus. Give cheerfully. The other thing it says in 1 Corinthians 16, chapter 16, put aside and save as verse two, as he 52:30 may prosper. As you have prospered, we can give. 1 Corinthians 16, verse two. That means according That means according to your ability. 52:48 Somebody has got more, he can give more. If you have less, you don't have to feel GUILTY ABOUT IT. NOW, WHY do we emphasize these things? Now, listen. This is what you need to understand. 53:06 Why is the church called the body of Jesus Christ? I think that is another thing we emphasize more than anybody else. Church is the body. Everybody says that, but we say we must live like the body of 53:24 Christ. What does it mean for me to be a part of the body of Christ? Now, listen carefully. God gave this world one example of the 53:44 body of Christ in Nazareth and in Palestine, uh in Israel, 2,000 years ago. That was the first body of Christ. Today, we are the body of Christ. 54:04 What is our example? That first body of Christ. How did he look at women? In this body of Christ, everybody must look at women like that. What was that first body of Christ's 54:23 attitude to money? Everybody in today's body of Christ must have the same attitude to money. That means the body of Christ. How he loved his enemies. 54:45 The body OF CHRIST MUST BE like that. HOW HE DENOUNCED those who made money in the name of religion and chased them out of the temple. In this body of Christ also, WE MUST DRIVE OUT PEOPLE WHO ARE MAKING money in 55:02 the name of Jesus. So, all these things we have to do. That is why Jesus is our example. In every area. See, 55:22 John chapter one. John chapter one. Verse four. In that body of Christ was life, the life of God, and that life was the light of men. In that body of Christ, there was no 55:41 dark part in it. In today's body of Christ, THERE'S SO MANY DARK PARTS. WHY do we HAVE A CONFERENCE? SO THAT WE CAN COME TO THE PLACE WHERE THERE IS NO MORE DARK PART IN THE BODY 55:59 OF CHRIST. WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY HAVING a dark part? Lusting after women. Looking at dirty pictures. Being angry with somebody. Not forgiving somebody. 56:17 Being unrighteous with money. So many things that that first body of Christ would never do. Are our believers doing it in our church? THEN OUR CHURCH IS FULL OF DARKNESS. THAT IS WHY WE HAVE MEETINGS AND 56:36 CONFERENCES. What is the goal? To have no dark part in it. Because he was the light of the world. And he said to us, "Now, you are the light of the world." 56:53 That is why we have to emphasize that we have to walk as Jesus walked. The same attitude to everybody and everything that Jesus had. Let me say one more example. 57:12 If a brother leaves the church, should we go after him to bring him back? That depends on what type of backslider he is. Jesus gave us two examples. 57:29 One is a sheep that went astray. The sheep did not rebel against the shepherd saying, "I want don't want you." Accidentally, it missed the road and got deceived and went Jesus taught, "Go after that sheep." 57:51 "Put him on your shoulders and bring him back." That's number one type of backslider. Another type of backslider. This is the story the story of the prodigal son. Tells his father, "I don't want to be here. I This is not a good church." 58:08 "I'm going." He went. Did the father go after him like the shepherd went after the sheep? No, he went. And the father gets some news, "Your son is so poor now, no food." "Will you send him some food?" 58:33 Father says, "No." "Will you send him some money?" "No." "Let him suffer." "Let him come to the level of the pigs." Is that love? That is God's love. 58:52 We don't understand that. We will send him money, give him food, so that he remains away from the church forever. We have got so many stupid believers like that who think they are showing love. God's God's love is not like that. 59:13 "Let him suffer." "One day he'll come back." "Then I will make a big feast for him." Not if he comes like a big maharaja and say, "Yes, brother. I have now come back to the church." But when he comes like a servant. 59:33 "I am not fit I am not fit to be a part of this church. Please give me a last seat in the corner. I will sit there forever. I will never open my mouth. He has come as a broken person. That is what Jesus taught. To have the 59:48 attitude of Jesus. Everything is written in the Bible. Sometimes love is tough and strong. Because we desire the eternal good of people. Not our own popularity. I'll tell you I don't care one bit what other people think whether I am a loving 1:00:04 person or a humble person. I want to please God not people. I want to please God. Let's seek to honor God. Let's pray. Heavenly Father, help us to walk as Jesus walked. This is our calling. Pray in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. 1:00:30 Amen.
