0:02 Heat. Heat. Yeah. Heat. [Music] 0:30 Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. 0:57 Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Yeah. Heat. 1:24 Yeah. Heat. [Music] the heart of me. That was uh I don't know how it 1:47 sounded from that side, but it was a little low energy. Let's uh sing our next song and let's try to sing it a little bit with more energy. We'll sing uh My Jesus, my savior. I'm sure you all are aware of it. My Jesus my 2:09 nat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Yeah. [Music] 2:36 Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. 3:02 [Music] Sing for joy in the world of your hands. Forever I love you forever. Nothing compares to the promise 3:24 I have in you. Amen. Uh, Mahesh, over to you. Yeah, brothers and sisters, let's 3:46 just bow down and pray. Um, commit this time to the Lord. Um um you may be thinking that I know we have come to another message or another meeting 4:06 um um or you came you may be coming with some questions or doubts ask that that the Lord will meet our need and um there is a principle in God's word um that says in Luke chapter to 4:26 um he has he has filled the hungry with the good things and sent away the rich empty-handed. He has filled the good hungry with the good things and sent away the rich empty-handed. So brothers and sisters when we come let's come with 4:44 a hungry heart and a honest heart and a humble heart that Lord Jesus please speak to me and uh whatever that need and whatever that struggle that we have um whatever is bothering us troubling us uh let's ask the Lord Lord um even as we 5:03 sit here let your presence bless us and uh may your word come and meet our heart uh and meet a hungry God, let us just pray. Um, our father in heaven, we thank you and praise you and you have loved us with an everlasting 5:20 love, Lord. and you have called us and you have brought us you drawn us to this place and you gave us this time and we pray Lord that you will give us a heart to hear your word and open our eyes and the eyes of our understanding Lord that we can really 5:38 see you Lord that we may really see our need first Lord and that we can see that it can be fulfilled in you and pray that Lord that for your hand of blessing on this meeting and this time may your name be glorified and honored Lord in your in 5:53 Jesus name we pray. Amen. Amen. Um brothers and sisters uh uh it's a great privilege uh brother Vincent is uh with us u so some of most of us know brother Vincent but some of us doesn't know. So for the benefit of 6:12 those who don't know um brother Vincent is a professor uh he worked as a dean and principal um and different positions in different universities. Currently he is working at VIT um and by profession he's very close to 6:31 youth. So I'm personally looking forward to hear from him. uh and he's a elder at different CFC churches um and he is overseeing many churches in Tamil Nadu and other places. So it's our great honor and privilege to have brother 6:48 Vincson. Brother Vincson, we welcome you. Thank you. [Music] Thank you for the kind words and uh the warm welcome you have 7:07 extended. How many of you attended the youth camp last week? May I see your hands? Almost 90%. Very good. You enjoyed. Yeah. What is the thing that enjoyed the most? Climate 7:26 surrounding friends. Skits songs. songs, skits, fellowship. Yeah, very good. So, it is good once in a while to go away like that and uh you should be 7:44 very thankful to Bangalore CFC church and organizers for taking you uh away from this place. It's not easy to organize. It needs a lot of efforts and money, people, so many other things, 8:02 logistics. So be thankful for taking them, taking all of you for this youth camp. I remember my early days. After finishing 8:18 my BTE, I joined an engineering college as a lecturer. Mainly I wanted to be with young people guiding them. I was interested in students ministry. That's 8:38 why I chose uh teaching profession because I was otherwise selected in the campus to work in volas but in my heart deep in my heart I thought I will not have time to serve the lord if I join any industry. So teaching profession you 8:56 get vacation holidays so you can attend meetings and uh so as soon as I joined they gave me courses to teach I was the first person in my department so I was straight away appointed as the head of the department 9:13 and uh I was also given the responsibility of the spiritual affairs of the students. So we used to conduct retreats to the students and uh there was a 9:30 revival the first year of the college it was Karuna and uh I used to bring a person from uh Quimbore to Karuna University to take Bible study. He's a godly person. He 9:48 will come. he was coming and he was uh taking Bible study. It is open no compulsion only interested students would come and I don't know whether that was the source or something. After some time students as a group joined started 10:05 praying night and evenings and you can hear students weeping and convicting uh they got convicted of their sins and they were confessing their sins and there was a big revival and uh then that 10:22 led to uh four prayer cells in four prominent places. That's what that was the first year maximum strength 180 and four places praises will go on uh Monday one praisal Tuesday another praisal Thursday Friday like that and 10:42 almost every hall will be full. So young students had a lot of desire to listen to God's word and that's a place where God trained me to teach the word of God to have the burden for the young people. So when you all said that you 11:01 went for the retreat I remembered those days. Okay. Today I would like to share few things from the book of Chronicles. Would you tell me what is uh the 11:22 content of 2 Chronicles or Generally Chronicles? What is it about? If you know the answer, you say otherwise guess and say. See if I say what is the content of Matthew gospel will you be able to 11:41 tell what is it about kingdom of heaven yeah yeah it's about Jesus all the four gospels tell about the 11:57 birth the life and ministry of Jesus and teachings of Jesus all the four gospels Though each gospel is addressed to a particular group of people the same way I'm asking a question what is about uh what is the 12:15 content of chronicles yeah very good it's about kings the life history of kings very very short summary of the kings how they lived mainly with related 12:34 with relation to God and people why it is written any reason why God should include that in the Bible definitely God should have had a 12:56 purpose no by including because God will not do anything without a purpose we may do many things without a purpose you know uh in Tamil there's a word word called suma you 13:15 know I don't know there's no word in English or other languages I think Telugu it is the chuma yeah in English what simply simply I came that is without any purpose simply has got another meaning also simple means means 13:34 very without complication. Yeah. Simply people use but that's not the real word. So one person came from Russia to God and God asked him why did you come here? What do you want? So he said I 13:50 want to go to moon. So give me wisdom to make rockets and go. So God said okay take and make rockets. So, so he started even now he sends a lot of rocket satellites and uh astronauts and another person came from 14:09 Japan. What do you want? God asked him. Why did you come here? I need a wisdom to develop electronic products like organs, telecom, mobiles. Okay, take the wisdom and go and start manufacturing. So he started 14:28 manufacturing and he became a superpower economically well developed economically like that people came from different countries and uh German came what do you want I want to manufacture huge 14:46 machines. Okay no other world manufactures machines like Germany. Germans are known for manufacturing big big machines, earth moving machines and then from our place I'm not telling about from our place one fellow 15:04 went here God asked he said God said that's why many people are idol it's a story it makes us to Think we should have a 15:23 purpose. We should have a purpose for everything. When we do something, why we do that? First we know what are we doing, why we are doing, there should be some purpose. If you are spending lot of time in a particular place, there should be a 15:37 purpose. Think of that. So God would not have included chronicles in the Bible without a purpose because he has included lacks and lacks of people are spending lot of time reading it. If there's no purpose for God, all those people are reading 15:55 without a purpose then God is responsible for that. So there should be a definitely a purpose. So I believe the purpose is that we need to take some lessons. We need to take some lessons. A wise man learns from others mistakes and if 16:14 others have succeeded we can learn a lesson. There are examples. Okay. So I'd like to turn to 2 Chronicles chapter 12 and verse 1. 2 Chronicles chapter 12 16:37 and verse 1. It is in the Old Testament. I'll read that verse. When the kingdom of 16:54 Rhoboam was established and strong, he and all Israel with him forsook the law of the Lord. You may ask me why you start from 12, chapter 12, because before that it 17:12 talks about King Solomon and before that it talks about King David. Yeah. And who is the first king of Israel? Saul. Second king David. Third king is Solomon. Who 17:31 is the first king of divided [Music] kingdom? You know Israel was one country up to the reign of King Solomon. Then it got divided into like North India and South India. But this north India and 17:50 south India not are different countries but northern Israel and southern Israel both were different countries because in north India south India we don't fight but they fight they were fighting so different countries. So who is the first 18:05 king of the southern kingdom? Rahoba. Who is Rahobia? Son of King Solomon. Son of King Solomon. And who is the king of northern kingdom? 18:21 Jerobia. I think I should hear from the middle back rows. So northern kingdom king is Jerobium. He is a son of a servant maid but he was a very mighty man. That's why they made him as a king. And 18:39 you would have heard lot about David, Solomon, King Saul in other messages. That's why I chose from chapter 12. So when you read this, when the kingdom of Rhobam was 18:56 established and strong, he and all Israel with him forsook the law of the Lord. See what a sad thing he his kingdom became 19:13 strong or his throne became strong. And he was more concentrating on the throne and his own kingdom. He forgot about God. He forgot about the word of God. He forgot about the law of God. 19:32 What a sad thing. Is there anything where you are becoming stronger? Anything which you are becoming stronger? I realized maybe I go here and there for ministry. When that 19:50 is becoming stronger, I'm tempted to spend less time with the word of God. I thought, "Oh Lord, I don't want to backslide. I don't want to keep ministry as something strong, but Lord, I want my relationship with you. I am judging. I 20:05 am battling. I am praying to God. Lord, I should not neglect the Lord word of God. I should not neglect the law of God. So we read in 20:24 Samuel. Yeah. Law of uh we'll come to come to it afterwards. Yeah. Also we read uh 13th chapter and verse 18. 13th chapter and verse 18. They trusted the Lord and God of their 20:45 fathers. So they conquered. In other translation, they prevailed because they relied on God. They prevailed over their enemies because they relied on God. These two words you should not forget. What are the two words? 21:04 Prevailing, relying. We should prevail our lust. We should prevail the sins which are tempting us. We should prevail all that Satan is bringing. We should prevail all that the world is bringing. When can we 21:22 prevail? When we rely on God. When we rely on God. Same two words are coming in another verse. 2 Chronicles 16 7. 2 Chronicles 16 21:40 7 I'll read that verse to you. At the time Hanani the seir came to Assa. Seir means prophet overseer. Seir means he sees through the future. He came to Assa, 21:57 king of Judah, and said to him, "Because you have relied on the king of Aram, and have not relied on the Lord your God, the army of the king of Aram has escaped out of your hand." He did not rely on God. He relied on king, some other 22:20 king. So the enemies prevailed. He lost the battle. He lost the battle. Assa relied not on God but on the king of Syria. So this is the first part of my 22:39 message. I have some four or five parts. So his kingdom he never thought that kingdom was given by God. Who gave who made Herobam as king? God. Who gave the throne to Solomon? God. God told Solomon that I will make your son as 22:59 king. It is God who made me as a king. It is God who gave this kingdom. So I should not forget God. I should not forget God. But he forgot the law of God. Not only that, when a king backslides, all his people also 23:17 backslide. The king forsook the law and so the people of Judah. So when we backslide, it is not that we alone backslide. We take a group of people, we become responsible. I hope all of you are 23:37 having mobile or notebook and pen. Those who don't have notebook and pen, you can open your mobile. You have a notes where you can take some notes. Yeah. Now the first question to you is what is your [Music] 23:56 kingdom which tends to make you forget the word of God or steals the time you spend with the word of God or prayer or the fellowship. Can you write two or three things which is becoming your throne? 24:16 which is becoming your stronghold. I'll give some tips. It is your intellectual ability. I'm very sharp in studies. Very shrewd in studies that take that that can take my future that can make my sec future 24:35 secure. I did not belong I did not rely on God. I went to a foreign university. I met a lot of people there, professors. We were talking at the dinner 24:52 time and they questioned, "We study well, we work, we earn lot of money, we buy a house and we educate our children. All our needs are met. Why do we need God? We don't need 25:12 God. Not from a rebellious people. A good good person, very loving person. Because that country's development, their education, their salary, pay package has become their kingdom. They 25:31 left God. So intellectually, socially or economically what is your throne? two points or three points you write and title number 25:49 one I'll just give you two minutes time you can write think on write sometimes you may not realize that it is there now potential things which can become a throne for you where you rely on that and not on 26:08 God or God's So [Music] 26:32 finished. If you're finished, you can show me the thumbs. Yeah. Okay. I think some people are uh need time. Yeah, thank you. Okay. Shall we go to the next one? Yeah. 27:15 Very good. Anybody want some more time? You can show. Okay. Thank you. Next verse. 2 Chronicles chapter 15 and verse 3. This is during the period of the king by 27:35 name Assa. I don't know whether it is Assa or Asa. Okay. Yeah. Yes. Yay. I'll just read the third verse. Chapter 15 and verse three. For many 27:53 days, Israel was without the true God and without a teaching priest and without law. Can you tell me what are the things three things they didn't have? God, priest, 28:13 law. See how God has inspired and written. For many days, Israel was without the true God. That means they had false gods, idols, lot of false gods. Nobody could search or show a true 28:32 God because there is no priest. And there is no word of God, no Bible, no preacher or teacher and no God. See how step by step it goes. and some related verses I'll show why 28:52 should you have a Bible teacher or why should you have a priest in those days priest nowadays equivalent we can say elders elders who have the gift of teaching what are the five gifts God has given to the church to the individuals God has given 29:14 nine gifts that we read in 1 Corinthians chapter 12 the five gifts we read in Ephesians anybody knows at least still one louder yeah 29:33 yeah prophets evangelist who is telling apostles apostles teachers teachers Evangelist. Yeah. Very good. See, you can remember the five 29:52 fingers. God has given apostles. Apostles means authority. Whatever they say is final. In Acts we read there were some confusions. Immediately people invited Peter, John, James from Jerusalem apostles and they came and said okay 30:11 this is final. So apostles are the people who are sent who have authority. Then prophets prophets job is pointing finger. This is wrong. This is right. Go this way. Go that way. Take away this. 30:28 This person is right. Pointing out always. That's the work of the prophet. When the king David sinned, the prophet went and pointed out what you have done is wrong. Pointing. Pointing pointing then evangelists they are the tall people of 30:47 all the gifts. Evangelistic meeting means lot of crowd comes always he wants to go out go out evangelist and pastors or shepherds. What is this ring? Uh what is this w uh finger ring finger preparing 31:07 for marriage. So he's preparing the church to become the bride of Christ. So preparing the people for the wedding ring wedding. So this is pastors or shepherds and this one 31:26 teaches only this will go in when others say it will not go in. So teachers so you can remember apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers. So why the priest can be a 31:45 teacher in the Bible? So teaching is a gift God has given to the church. Teaching protects the church. Teaching gift helps people to grow, to become strong. So I wrote I I'll just show another verse. Leviticus chapter 10. 32:02 Leviticus chapter 10. Do you have another mic with you who can read the verse? Okay. Any sisters who can 32:21 read quickly can take Those who have had Bible in their homes 32:39 for past few years and those who have read it, easy for you to take but already you have turned to um 2 Chronicles. Yeah. Leviticus chapter 10 and 11. and so as to make a distinction between 32:58 the holy and the profane and between the unclean and the clean and so as to teach the sons of Israel all the statutes which the Lord has spoken to them through Moses. Yeah. So people have to make a distinction 33:16 between what is holy and unholy, between clean and unclean. People are like that. People don't know what is holy and unholy. People do not know what is clean and unclean. People do not know what to choose and what not to choose. Young 33:31 people do not know whom to marry, whom they should not marry, what practice they should do, what they should not do. So in order to teach that you you have to have you have to tell the sons of Israel's all the statutes given by God through Moses. So 33:50 that's a purpose even today God has given by the grace of God I would say good Bible teachers God has given us as a good Bible teacher who can teach accurately not this way or that way not 34:10 for money not for honor not for prosperity not for becoming popular accurately the word of God having a real burden recons. We should be thankful and God has raised many more elders, many more Bible 34:28 teachers and God has some of you for this ministry. Even sisters, brothers who can teach to your juniors, who can explain the word 34:42 of God that was not there. Read 1 Samuel 3:1. What we read is 1 Samuel 3 and verse one. There was a time in Israel. The word of God was very 35:04 rare. 1 Samuel 3 1. Word from the Lord was rare in those days. Visions were infrequent. Nobody had vision. Nobody had the word of God because the priest Eli was 35:23 backsliden. He did not have fellowship with God. So he could not hear what God is speaking. A bad situation. Nobody. The word of God was very rare. And in 35:41 Amos 8 verse 11 and 12 says that there's going to be a famine the last days not for food but for the word of God. Many preachers will be there they'll be preaching different doctrines not emphasizing on the 35:58 seriousness of sin. They say sin you can commit no problem. Jesus already has covered all those sins. So many doctrines which are deceptive. The theme of this conference is simple and pure devotion. Why Paul is telling? So that you will not be 36:18 deceived by another gospel which preaches another Jesus by another spirit that we read in Corinthians. That's the theme of the verse. 2 Corinthians 11 and verse 3 and four you 36:38 read another gospel is preached by another spirit and they are preaching another Christ. Who is another Christ who says okay okay you can all sin no problem I'll forgive you. One young boy asked a question. I keep on doing this sin. Will 36:58 Jesus keep on forgiving? It's another Jesus. You are not serious about following Jesus. You are not serious about stopping sin. You don't want to stop sin. You want to keep on committing sin and you want Jesus to keep on forgiving. Where's the verse in 37:12 the Bible? Another Jesus. So lack of fear of God always attracts lust in our life. Lack of fear of God attracts lust in our life. You have to be very careful. 37:30 Wherever people don't fear God, lust will be there because it attracts like a magnet. I think it is told by no David Wilkerson. He has told lust is like a magnet which 37:48 attracts if there is no fear of God. So there was no God. God is far away. Word of God is far away and no teacher Bible teacher. Now second question I'm asking 38:07 is how far you are from God? How far you are from word? How far you are from teachers or 38:23 godly leaders? very difficult to say how far you are from God because there's no way to measure but how far you are away from the word of God you can find out suppose you say sir brother uh last time I took 38:40 the bible it is 20 days attendance or only for meetings I take Bible that means you are away from the word of god you're not immersed in the word of god see immersed in the word of god is friend. I went to a house and I said night time 39:00 shall we have a small family prayer and okay dad mom and two boys they said and shall we have a Bible then the father is asking hey where is the Bible I don't know where you to go and take you go and take there's a 39:19 fight I don't know where it is nobody knows where it is then they are searching searching searching and then they found out and dusting it and bring it. Are they very near to the word of God? Far away from the word of God. Another CFC church I went. I was 39:38 speaking to the youth nearly uh 10 young people were there. I was asking them the question, can you tell me what are all the gospel books in the Bible? Can you tell me the names of the gospel books in the Bible? 39:57 None of them told except one person. None of them told. They didn't know but they are regular to church and they were born in CFC. I really it shook me. I had a great burden. Lord now our church where we 40:15 preach good doctrines new covenant doctrines truth they don't know what are the gospel books I hope you know will somebody tell what are the gospel 40:33 books yeah those who do not know at least read them here Matthew Mark Luke John. John. Okay. These are the gospel books in the Bible. There are poetical books. Example, Psalms, Proverbs, 40:53 Job, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon. Yeah. That's why they are grouped together. History books. No, Genesis is not a history book. Yeah. Kings, Samuel, Samuel, Chronicles, Chronicles, Esra, Nahhemia, 41:12 Esther. And first five books, pentatukes, they are written by Moses. Okay. Then we have prophetic books. Yeah. Very good. Major prophets, minor 41:29 prophets. Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, they are major prophets. and all others are minor prophets. The New Testament is there any prophetic book? Revelation. Revelation is a prophetic 41:46 book. Okay. Then epistles. They are the letters written. Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, Thessalonians. Okay, these are all epistles. And you should know who wrote how. What are the epistles written by 42:05 Paul? How many epistles he wrote to the churches? How many epistles epistle mean letter? Let letter he wrote to the individuals. And Peter, how many he has written? James is the brother of Jesus. He got converted after the death of 42:22 Jesus Christ. Until then he did not believe. Okay. So now second question you write answer to any two questions you are given a choice. How far is God from your life? How far is the word of God 42:41 from your life? How far are the Bible teachers or godly men from your life? You can the answer could be a weekly once I meet and talk to the many godly brother, godly sister. You can say and 43:01 how frequently you read the word of God. Maybe per week I read two times, three times or I read daily or I read twice daily. That gives some indication how far you 43:18 are away from God, word of God and Bible teachers. So this part you can edit and cut. Okay. 44:03 [Music] If you have written you can show your thumbs. Yeah, most of you have written. Yeah, others are writing. Then we come to the third section. 2 Chronicles chapter 44:31 17. I'll just uh say one practice when I was young like you in my college days some of the Bible teachers Bible teachers means some who comes for taking Bible study or we 44:50 meet somebody suggested you take small cards small cards like wing card size says you read the Bible in the morning any chapter particular verse you are touched or it comes it pops 45:08 up pops up you write it when you read especially New Testament I read the reference I write the reference I read that I write the verse and keep it in my pocket throughout the day it'll be there whenever I take some money I'll take the 45:26 card I'll take the card read it and put it back again when I when I whenever I have time repeated exposure to the word of God. Repeated exposure to the word of God. You are practicing your eyes to look into the word of God. You are 45:42 practicing your mind to read the word of God. You are practicing your hand to take the word of God. It's a good practice. It protects you from so many unwanted thoughts and lust things like that. Still you have to battle with the 45:57 lust. There is a battle. But these are all tools which helps you. So that's one way you keep the I'm very close to the word of God. You can see one young soldier was there. Can you reduce the volume? It is 46:13 making sound. Okay. Yeah. So he came for some one month holiday and he was going back. Last time in event he forgot to take his Bible. So this time mother advised him to read the Bible, a small 46:31 New Testament. And mother said, "Please my son, keep this Bible always with you. It will protect you from many dangers." So because mom told that out of respect for his mom, he took the 46:49 Bible and he used to have it. One day there was a war and um somebody shot at him. He fell down. People thought he's dead and they came. He because of the shock he fell down and 47:08 he woke up after some time and they found out that the New Testament was there. When they took that New Testament, the bullet has entered half of the book and stopped there. So that really protected his life. So you can be protected from the 47:29 now you are not a soldier. You are not going to the warfield but you are in the Christian battlefield. To be a Christian is not a playground. It is a battlefield. Always devil will be shooting guns. The Bible in Ephesians chapter 6 it is 47:44 said fiery dots fiery arrows he will always be throwing which will protect you the word of God. Word of God in your heart. So we have answered to the second thing. Now we go to the third section. It is about King 48:04 Jehoshaphat. Any message you remember you heard about this king Zach uncle has preached or brother Zach has preached Jehoshaphat. Yeah. Tell me. Huh? Oh youth camp who spoke brotherh. So which part of Jehovah 48:26 Shaat life he shared? Huh? Huh? Okay. The war how he prayed. We don't have strength. We look to you. Yeah. So he's a good he's a good king. He got a 48:46 reputation for his spiritual life. Jehoshaphat. I'll read the fifth verse. The Lord established the kingdom in his control and all Judah brought tribute to Jehoshaphat and he had a great riches and honor and he took pride in the ways of 49:08 the Lord. It is not bad pride but he was proud of God. Okay. And seventh verse, then in the third year of his reign, he sent his officials. So many people, all the names you can read. And what did they do? Ninth verse, they taught in 49:25 Judah having the book of the law of the Lord with them. See earlier king there was no Bible teacher, but he appointed Bible teachers and they went to different places. Bible says they went to all cities to teach the word of God. It's a 49:44 good thing. So he was involved in the ministry. What is the ministry? Taking the word of God to the people. And 12th verse, Jehoshaphat grew greater and greater and he built fortresses and store cities in 50:03 Judah. Now what happened? 18th verse. He had great riches and honor and he ali himself by marriage with Ahab. Aab was an evil king in Israel. His wife was 50:22 Jezebel evil king and he entered into an alliance. What a sad thing. So he can represent very well our life. We are going to the church hearing the word of God and maybe doing the ministry maybe Sunday taking some Sunday 50:39 school for small children like he sent people to teach the Bible but then when what is the turning point when the riches and honor increased that's the problem when the riches and honor increased I 50:56 have worked with some big people I was a register in a university and with the chancellor I visited abroad with more and more money more and more 51:12 money comes in sexual sin having more than one partners and he was justifying it is not sin when both of them agree it is adultery I tell them Bible says it is sin 51:29 so this king made an alliance 19th chapter one se again a prophet went to Jehoshaphat he told him should you help the wicked and love those who hate the lord and so bring wrath on yourself from the 51:49 lord but there is some good in you that's why god has god has not destroyed you something good in you and And what he did, 52:06 he wanted to do a big project ship building and he wanted to build a ship with another king. See with that we read in the 20th chapter 36th verse. He allied himself 52:25 with him to make ships to go to Tarses and they made the ships in Ezon Gabber. What happened? The Lord destroyed his works. So the ships were broken and could not go to Tashis. So any project if you are really 52:46 godly and God God is loving you, any project you want to make and the alliance the Old Testament alliance word is used now we can use the word fellowship. Any fellowship with ungodly people, those who don't have fear of God 53:04 and you are involved in project, you have to be very very very careful. You be careful and find out whether they are pulling you towards other side or you are trying to pull them to your side. The moment you feel that they are pulling you to the other 53:17 side, close the project otherwise God will has to destroy that project because God loves you more than your project. So now the third section the question comes 53:36 to you. You write two or three answers. Who is your company? Whose company you relish you value? So I don't say that you should not have 54:00 worldly friends. You can by all means have because Paul says if I say you should not have then we have to run away from this world. You can have worldly friends no problem. But are they influencing you? So I would refine the question. Do 54:14 you have ungodly fellowship which influences you? Who are they? Write their names. I'm not going to talk to them, but you write the names. Are they influencing you? Are they pouring water 54:33 in the fire? Are they quenching your love for God? Maybe unconverted relatives, unconverted classmates. I 55:27 finished. Yeah. Sometimes your friends may be in the church, they may be leading you to wrong things, telling you wrong things. I heard in one place there's a there are children studying the Sunday school and 55:45 one fellow learns bad things from the school and teaching them in the Sunday school and parents say I don't want to send my children to the Sunday school because they are learning bad things in the Sunday school. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 56:00 chapter 11 you are gathering for good we should gather for good but your gathering is for evil. Why do you want to gather as a church? So coming to church leads you to evil things. Why should you want to come to church? Are there people like that? You 56:20 have to sometimes you have to talk to the elders or any brother if you are a boy, any sister if you are a girl in whom you have confidence. Don't tell somebody's harassing 56:38 me, somebody is uh sending bad messages through Instagram. Tell them because it has to be protected otherwise it will grow grow grow and one day it exposes bad name for you, bad name for 56:56 him. So you have to be very very careful. So you finished now? Yeah. Then we come to the fourth section 2 Chronicles chapter 22. We read about a king 57:18 Auza. His mother's name is Atalia. Have you heard? Mother's name is Atalia. The king's name is Agassia. What is wrong with him? Third verse. Will you read third verse 2 Chronicles 57:37 22:3? He also walked in the ways Ahab. Louder. You hold the mic like this. Yeah. He also walked in the ways of the house of Ahab. For his mother was his counselor 57:55 to do wickedly. His mother was his counselor to do wicked things. Can you imagine a mother giving a counsel to his son to do wicked things? There are lot of families, 58:13 believing families, couples which broke down because of the evil advice of the boy's mother. That is more in neighboring state. I don't want to tell which is your neighboring 58:33 state more very very evil but they are believers attending churches for many years son gets married evil wicked advice and marriage breaks very very sad thing I am seeing people crying one family got united after 3 58:54 years even now mother comes advice wicked advice Why did you do this for the grandchildren? you should not do. It's a parents decision. Brother why you are telling that when you grow up young people when you get 59:13 married when your mother advises something in your family don't take it listen but take decision with discussion with your wife similarly you after marriage Bible says you should forget your parents house mean not literally 59:32 but you should not be emotionally attached I'm taking advice from them and running my family. No, no. You and husband or husband and wife they should decide and do evil advice. Mother giving evil advice. Just because mother is giving advice need not 59:50 be good. You have to have discernment. Tell them boldly I love God. I want I am a disciple of God. Mom what you say is not according to the scriptures. Boldly say non. Who is 1:00:08 Neon? A Syrian commander. And there was a servant girl, slave girl. She was taken as a slave to Syria from Israel. When he was suffering, this girl advised, good advice. I know a prophet. See, small 1:00:26 girl, she knew a prophet and she knew that when the prophet prays, she'll be he will be healed. And he listened. Be a girl like that. Be a boy like that. Guiding somebody to a godly person. Deliverance from leprosy means 1:00:42 present day deliverance from sin. Somebody's struggling fighting. Go and tell them homosexual sin. You have to be very careful. Similarly sister side also when somebody 1:01:02 comes very close physically you have to be very careful that we'll come to the next one you know Amnon whose son is Amnon David's son he had a friend what is his 1:01:21 name had a friend Jonadab he was advising. Oh, you want you are loving Tamar. Tamar was a not a sister, step sister. Tamar's mother was somebody. Amnon's mother was somebody. But both had David as father. So he was 1:01:41 loving that girl, not loving, lusting that girl. Today what all people speak love, love, it is lust. Don't get deceived. And he said, "Oh, you are uh uh loving that girl." Okay, he gives idea. You go and tell dad that she should come and 1:02:00 cook food. You first you lie down as if you are sick. This fellow is sick. Sick person should go to hospital. Not calling his lover and asking her to cook and food and eat. He should take medicine. So Tamar said I will cook here 1:02:17 and send the food. No, no, no. He she should come here and at that time at least David should have some discernment. There are some fathers, parents who don't have discernment. That spoils the family. Amnun died. Tamar got a bad name. She 1:02:34 became she was raped. A king's daughter. How with what dignity she should have lived? She put ashes, tore her cloths, crying, running in the street. Oh, I'm spoiled. I am spoiled. Advisor. Now we ask question. Who is 1:02:57 your advisor? Write two names. Maybe from relatives or maybe your friends. Maybe who are all your two advisers. Are they good advisers or they are leading you away from spiritual life? have 1:03:44 written. Okay. Yeah, two more kings. I just give you the reference. Chapter 25 and verse 2. Another one I want to give reference 1:04:02 but you search and read. Usuza king Uza. So this 252 Amatsia he was good but he was not wholehearted. He was not wholehearted. It is recorded. What distracts you from being a 1:04:22 wholehearted child of God? That's a question. You answer it because I'm going to close. You can answer it later. What distracts you from being a wholehearted disciple? [Music] 1:04:49 Okay, thank you for your kind uh cooperation and patient listening in the afternoon time. Uh very hard time I know. So uh one sister I will call and one brother I will call. If you can whatever the answers you have written if 1:05:07 you would like to share you can share. Okay. You should have been born in Jan, Feb, March. 3 months. Your name should start with P. Anybody is there? Sister side P. Jan, Feb, 1:05:27 March, nobody. April, any name starts with Yes. You would like to come? Yeah. Yeah. Just uh it it is no 1:05:54 participation from your side also that will encourage others also. Yeah. You can come here. I don't want you to read everything. Whatever can be read, you can share. You can. 1:06:11 Yeah. So I know that uh this the first time I'm giving such exercise. I know whether it is fruitful or not. Yeah. You read the question and answers. What is your kingdom which makes you forget the word of God? Uh worldly 1:06:28 people, internet and social media. And the potential thing is money, lust, and non-Christians. Um yeah. Do you have a plan to work on it and change that to yes good things? Yeah. Yeah. So writing answer is not the end. You have to again go read the 1:06:47 answer how you can uh work out on it. How you can repent and set right those things that is important. Yeah. Next question. How far are you from God? God's word and godly elders from God. Not far enough that he can't pull me 1:07:01 away from but I shouldn't be far from God. And how far from God's word every day but maybe out of a ritual? I might be doing it every day. So every day you are reading the word of God. Yes. Every Yeah. But sometimes it might be out of 1:07:15 ritual. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's okay. Yeah. Every day we brush our teeth. Sometimes it may be ritual. Good. Yeah. And godly lead us twice a week. Yeah. Thank you. Somebody else who can 1:07:33 come. Rest of the questions. How many are there with the letters starting Y? Sister say Y. Nobody. Okay. Brother 1:07:54 side. Starting with letter A. Yeah. Please come. Can you stand here on your Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Very good. Uh I feel like my friends have given me 1:08:14 enough space to to believe what I have to believe. Um so you're positive on that. Yeah. The question was uh who is my company and uh do I have ungodly friends who influence me wrongly? So yes, my church friends and even my 1:08:30 ungodly friends, I feel like they give me the space. They're not pushing me in a direction. Are they encouraging you? Uh not really. Not really. Okay. Okay. You are encouraging them to follow the Lord. That's right. Not to follow the 1:08:43 Lord, but um ethically godly values. Yeah. See, you need not share the entire gospel. I was condemning myself. I will get into the bus six hours service journey next to me somebody is sitting oh I have to share the gospel share the 1:09:02 gospel and one place will cross lord before the next place it reaches I will share the gospel I don't know how to do bus reaches that oh lord sorry lord next really struggling the entire journey full of condemnation I will start with 1:09:17 Adam I don't know where to start then he will say no no no I don't need so I I was not taught So the right way is okay I'll pray for you that's all I'll pray for you for this difficulty I'll pray for your parents if somebody is sick and you be 1:09:34 sorrying I will pray to God that's all share the love next time he ask something you can share a verse or how God blessed you one small thing you can share like that yeah thank you you read only one question answer yeah anybody 1:09:49 else starting with B you didn't say your name. What's your name? Adash. Adash. Okay. Starting with B. Anybody? Yeah, I think somebody is there. Benoy. Where's 1:10:16 Benoy? Even if you have not written, just saying I have not written any answer. That is good. Yeah, very good. Yeah. Uh the question is how far from am I 1:10:36 from the word of God? Uh I'm not that far. I read the Bible every day. Every day. Okay. Okay. Yeah. Uh and then how far am I from godly elders? Yeah. godly 1:10:54 elders. I mean I stay and try and touch every camp here and then try to go and talk camp only once. No, I mean uh I mean not uh when we go out to play or sometimes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So share something see sharing are 1:11:11 different levels. Hey had your food. Yeah that is information level but it should be at the feelings level. Feelings level means that's a real communication. I was afraid and I didn't know what to do and I shared with somebody and this encouraged me the 1:11:29 feeling level. I was disappointed. I was happy to like that this feelings level if you share your fellowship will increase your bond will increase and that's a good communication. Yeah. Okay. Any next? Okay. Thank you. So thank you for your active uh 1:11:48 participation. I want one sister or one brother to come and pray. See reading the word is not sufficient. Reading is here. You should understand what you read. You should understand. For that you have to ask some questions. Who said this? Where he 1:12:08 said this? What did he do? Where did he do? How it was done? Ask all these questions. And that is understanding. Then you have to apply how it applies to my life based on this verse. What uh change I should do? What effort I should 1:12:23 take and what prayer I can make based on the what I have read. There's application. Without application remembering and understanding is not going to help you. So seed should grow and give fruit. Okay. So hope you will try to spend more time in the word of 1:12:40 God. May ask a lot of questions and underline and mark doing lot of markings and then if you have a diary write a prayer based on what you have read how you are applying one thing all seven days you may not find application 3 days 1:12:56 once in 3 days or 4 days apply okay who will come and pray you can you have the mic now who is having the mic who is having the mic No, no. Let the mic be with him. He He will pray. 1:13:15 Yeah. Yeah. You can stand up and pray. Your name Abishek. Okay. Your name starts with A. Okay. Lord heavenly father, thank you Lord for 1:13:35 for giving us another opportunity to come to come together and learn more about your word Lord Father. Lord Lord help us to keep you in the throne of our hearts Lord Father and let no other distractions come between you and and us 1:13:48 Lord Father Lord. Father all that we have heard today Lord it should not be that we listen in one ear and we throw it away but rather help us to keep it in our hearts and never forget it in our hearts. Lord, help us to not be afraid and to proclaim the 1:14:02 word and encourage others whether we are at the office or whether we at school or college. Lord, Father, Lord, I pray that you help us, oh Lord. Father, help us to keep the word of God and be immersed in the word of God, Lord. Father, Lord, 1:14:16 Lord, thank you Lord for this time of wonderful fellowship in the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen. Thank you. Thank you. So today what we have done is we read some portion and through the questions it is uh part of application 1:14:30 process. So you find out from your life and then whatever you have written in your in your prayer time or when you are idle in your home when you have some time how to overcome the negative things positive things how we can uh reinforce 1:14:45 and make it much stronger and how we can bless others. God bless you all. Thank you. Thank you. Meeting is over. I think uh we'll have a break or announcements. Yeah. Okay. Um thank you brother Vincent 1:15:18 for a very practical and uh thoughtprovoking session. Um so brothers and sisters the meeting is over. Uh now we have a break uh till 5:45. U so you can take a break go down. Um and you have a break till 5:45. 1:15:37 Um brothers we need little help with the chairs. Um uh please stay back if you can. The meeting is over.
