0:01 So I want to begin with one John first episode of John chapter 1. John writes this probably 0:19 around when he was 95 years old and he's had he's probably around 30 on the day of Pentecost. My guess is John was one of the youngest and he was probably around 27 years old or something when Jesus called him and he must have been around 30 on the day 0:37 of Pentecost. And this is 65 years later that he's writing. He looks back over his life. He looks back over the time he was with Jesus for three and a half years walking with him. And he describes it like this. 0:57 That which is from the beginning, what we have heard and what we have seen, what we looked at and touched concerning the word of life, that life was manifested and we have seen and testify and proclaimed to you the eternal life which is with the 1:16 father is manifested to us. Now when I read that I see that that should be the impression that other people you know that get when 1:33 they contact us. This is the impression John got by being with Jesus for three and a half years. He doesn't say well this is what Jesus preached and that is what Jesus preached. He's not thinking of various doctrines that Jesus preached or various 1:51 statements that Jesus made. He says something way beyond all that. He says we saw something in Jesus life. We heard something. A life was manifested, not a doctrine. 2:13 And what we see and proclaim to you is not a doctrine, verse two, but eternal life. The life which is with the father and manifested to us. What do Christians mostly argue about 2:32 different denominations? It's always doctrine. We don't agree in this and don't agree in that. There are different forms of baptism and baptism in the Holy Spirit and all that. There is a place for doctrine. But I believe as Christians, 2:47 we must keep this in mind that people who come in touch with us and who have seen us for certain amount of time, say 2, three years, people who have known us for two or three years, they should go away with a sense that we 3:02 touch something which is out of this world. A life which is very different. A man with sense of values or a woman with sense of values which is totally different from what we have seen with all the other people we know. That 3:18 should be the testimony of people who meet us. Your relatives for example, unconverted relatives. We try so hard to convince them that Jesus Christ is his only savior and all that. Sometimes it's very difficult. They're 3:35 all stuck in their ways, whether they're non-Christians or Christians of a different denomination. But I'll tell you one thing, however much they may argue with us in doctrine, they can never forget the life and the convictions we live by. 3:52 It's one of the things the Lord gripped me with from the very beginning of my Christian life that my life was more important than the doctrines I preached. So I was very encouraged when I I used to be in the Navy and 4:12 about some some years ago I met a old colleague of mine who was a little senior to me a rear admiral in the Indian Navy by the time he had become a rear admiral and I had met I'm meeting him out of 40 years I mean we had known each other 4:29 when I was a young lieutenant and he was a little senior to And he said to me, "Zach, I can never forget what I saw in you 40 years ago. That really blessed my heart." 4:49 He was a non-Christian, a Hindu, but he was honestly saying that it was not just some doctrine I preached about Christianity, but he saw something, a different way of life, 5:05 different values, different standards from people around in the world. And he never forgot it for 40 years. I hope your non-Christian friends and non-Christian relatives who see you 5:25 maybe see you occasionally will have that impression. Maybe they don't agree with our doctrine but they have to say there's something about our life which they never forget. Maybe our humility particularly 5:42 the world is full of proud people. And one h really really truly humble person in the midst of these proud people is like a light that shines in the darkness and you and I can be like that 6:02 then what we say will have value because they see that it has changed our life and that's what John is saying after 65 years when he looks back. He says this is not the doctrine he preached. And Jesus said some wonderful things in his 6:19 messages. But he says when I look back I remember what I saw with my eyes, what I heard with my ears and touched it was an altogether different life from what I had experienced with all the other people in the world. 6:39 And I don't know how I can emphasize that. I pray that all of you will be gripped by that. Christendom is full of so many denominations with so many different doctrines and they all argue about this all the way from Roman 6:54 Catholics across the board all the way to Pentecostals and everything in between. There's a whole lot of them. I have to say quite frankly that I disagree with the doctrines of most of these people in many many areas. But that's not the primary thing because 7:12 sometimes in some of those people who have taken infant baptism have not taken adult believers baptism like me but I remember seeing in one of one brother like born again brother who has never been baptized as an adult whom I 7:29 came across recently. He had such a quality of life and humility and knowledge of the Lord that I have not seen in some CFC people in our churches. I said, "Wow." I said, "That guy deserves to be in CFC even though he's not baptized as an 7:48 adult. It's the life that matters, dear brothers and sisters. A life that manifests the spirit of Christ." That's what I saw in him. and a humility. It says here the life was manifested 8:05 verse two and we have seen and testify and proclaim and those words should be said about us too when people have met with us not that we are associated with a particular group called CFC or just worth nothing but a life which was with 8:23 the father and was manifested to us or people should say this is a life that Jesus had in which manifested to us through this brother or That's all all our especially our unconverted relatives whom we meet now and then who we must have a burden that 8:41 they should come to the Lord and this is what they should see in us something of the life of Christ and one thing that has been very important for me which I find many Christians don't take very seriously is u 8:59 in verse Four, these things we write so that our joy may be made complete or full. We don't hear much preaching about joy. And yet joy is a very important part of the Christian life 9:19 because a lot of people in the world are most of the time gloomy and discouraged and complaining and grumbling. I said that's the darkness of the world. And in the midst of that, there's one person who's full of joy, who's got no 9:33 complaint against anybody, even though he may be going through a rough time or people may be speaking evil of him and all that, but it doesn't disturb him. The joy of the Lord, you know, there's a great verse in Nehemiah 8:10 which says, 9:48 "The joy of the Lord is our strength." And in the New Testament, when Jesus said, "Seek the kingdom of God first. That's a command. He told us to seek the kingdom of God first. Now, what does that mean to seek the 10:06 kingdom of God first? It means that I have to first of all understand what the kingdom of God is. What is the kingdom of God? It's righteousness, 10:25 peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. That's what the kingdom of God is. That is in Romans 14:17. By the way, righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. So when the Lord tells me to seek the kingdom of God first, I used to think it 10:45 was, you know, preaching the gospel and doing things like that. I realize now it's not that. And it's righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. So in other words, when Jesus said, "Seek the kingdom of God first." For years and 10:58 years, I thought it was to witness to others and bring other people into God's kingdom. I now realize that what I need to seek for primarily in my life is absolute righteousness. That means there must be not a single area in my life 11:10 which is unrighteous. I must have a testimony that I'm 100% upright in money matters. That means I don't owe anybody a scent. And uh I'm absolutely righteous in paying my taxes. I must have a testimony like that. And absolutely righteous in my relationships 11:29 with women the opposite sex or if you're a girl with boys that there's not even a smell of any impurity there. We had to be very careful if you want to have such a testimony. 11:48 And you can ruin everything with one action in any of these areas of righteousness in money matters or with the opposite sex. Just one action can ruin your life testimony. 12:08 So seek the kingdom of God first means we must have a tremendous passion in our life for total righteousness in every area. righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. That means we must also seek to have a life where we are at perfect peace in 12:25 our heart no matter what happens in the world around us. See a lot of technical people those of you who are technical will understand this are very disturbed by this artificial intelligence is coming up which is going to 12:44 you know leave a lot of people unemployed because 10 people's work can be done by one and or sometimes 50 people's work can be done by one then what do the other 49 people do they get terminated what happens if in company 12:58 after company this is going to happen in a few And this is the those who know those who don't know about it are in blissful ignorance. They are at peace. But those who it's a false peace. But those who know about what's going on realize that 13:11 something like this can happen. And uh we want to be prepared for it. How are you going to be prepared for it? By saving up more money? No. You got to trust in the Lord. Be anxious for nothing. 13:34 Nothing means zero. That's what Jesus said in Matthew 6. And I'm talking about peace. Righteousness, peace, and joy. This is how we can have peace. If we seek the kingdom of God first and his righteousness, all the other things 13:51 will be added to you. And we must have some experience of that, dear brothers and sisters, in our own way. that yeah, you sought for righteousness, God honored you. You know, I've often said 1 Samuel 2:30 is one of my favorite 14:06 verses. And I often say it's easy to remember. 1 230 1 Samuel 2:30. And I I've told people how I used to pray that statement of the Lord in that verse says, "Those who honor me, I will honor." I'm talking about being at 14:23 peace. You know, the kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy. I'm talking about peace and this is the way how I used to peace in my heart in some tough situation that I faced and I faced many tough situations in my 67 years as a believer. 14:39 I was converted when I was 19 and I'm 86 now and not only as a believer the Lord took me out of the Navy when I was 26. So 60 years in full-time Christian work without depending on any human being for my financial means or anything. And in 14:57 different different situations, I used to say this to the Lord just to strengthen my own faith. I say, "Father, you said that those who honor you, you will honor. And in this particular situation and in different situations, in churches 15:16 and everywhere, things I stand for, I have tried to honor you. And if you don't honor me according to that promise, that will be the first time in 6,000 years that you broke your promise. Because I believe it's been 6,000 years 15:37 since the time of Adam, even though that promise was given only in the days of Samuel, but the principle applied right from the beginning of man's creation that those who honor God, God will honor. And that has strengthened my own faith. 15:53 When I tell you after all these 67 years as a believer, I have proved in my life that if you honor God, he honors you. And my dear brothers, that is the inheritance we must pass on to our children so that we teach them. 16:11 Honor God. The world is full of people who think security isn't making money. I've never believed in it. And if I did believe in it, I wouldn't never have left my job. And if I and and if I didn't believe 16:29 that God would honor those who honor him, I would have left my job and then joined some Christian organization to get a salary. But I said, "No, Jesus and Paul never got any salaries, and I'm going to serve the Lord like that." 16:41 Those who honor God, God will honor without a doubt. I proved it all my life in full-time Christian work and you must prove it in your life and that must be what other people see. A joy that's completely unshaken no matter what happens in the world around 16:57 us. And as I said, people may be losing their jobs and calamity and supposeding there wars and rumors of wars. To me, that only indicates that Christ is going to come back soon. I'm excited about it. Righteousness, peace, and the other is 17:13 joy. continuously I I've said to myself that if I ever lose my joy in the Lord something is wrong because there's a command in the Bible which I find one of the commands in the New Testament I could mention number of them which most 17:29 Christians do not obey. Philippians 4:4 rejoice in the Lord 24 hours of every day. Have you read that? Rejoice in the Lord 24 hours of every day. 17:47 That means there must never be a time at any time, day or night, even when I wake up in the middle of the night, that I'm gloomy. Okay? If it happens, I got to just admit, say, Lord, that's not quite the way I'm supposed to be. Something is 18:03 wrong. It's something like if a thorn gets into your foot and it pains you, pains you. And if if it doesn't pain you, you got leprosy, you have no sensation. You know, pain is one of the greatest blessings 18:23 in our body. I remember a doctor saying that that many Christians, many people don't realize that pain is one of the greatest blessings we have in this body because pain is the indication something is wrong somewhere. Even if it's a mosquito bite or a thorn 18:40 getting in the foot, we don't realize what pain is a blessing. Pain is the thing that indicates there's something wrong with your kidneys or your heart or anything. Pain is a blessing. In the same way, the conviction of sin is the 18:53 equivalent of pain in our spirit. I remember my wife used to work among people with leprosy and I've heard it said that there was that when person with leprosy has no sensation and I've heard of person with leprosy 19:13 sleeping and waking up and finding in the morning that some of his toes are missing. Some of his toes on his foot feet are missing. And then he finds bits of it lying there with blood and all that. Some rat came and bit it off at 19:29 night and he didn't have a clue. Pain would have been a blessing for him. He could have saved his toes. The same way in our conscience pain is the thing that indicates something is wrong. When we lose our joy, 19:48 something is wrong. If you take that seriously, you will live in the kingdom of God. I'm telling you for, you know what I said that I never knew what the seeking the kingdom of God first was. In my younger days, I thought because I went 20:03 to an assembly where they never taught these things. So, I thought seek the kingdom of God first means I so I used to witness. I used to sit in the buses I traveled in and give out tracks. I traveled in a train. I gave out tracks. 20:14 I went out in the streets and preached the gospel because that is seeking the kingdom of God. But I hardly found any converts till I realized Romans 14:17. Seeking the kingdom of God first means seek for total righteousness in your 20:29 life. Never be in debt to anybody. Avoid borrowing money unless it's an emergency. And if you do borrow, return it soon as possible. Don't live above your standard. I know my wife and I had to be very disciplined for in the early 20:46 years of our life. We had very very little and we had to be very disciplined and that's why I rode a scooter for 42 years in India. I couldn't afford to have a car. I'd had to be unrighteous and borrow money to do that. And I said, "No, I 21:03 will not do it. I I'm quite happy to ride a scooter all my life, but I will not disobey God's principles, owe no man anything." and I was determined to obey it. I'll tell you, there are many people whom God could have used more mightily 21:20 if they had been obedient to God's word. You know, God always tests us before he uses us. Even Jesus, he was, do you know that he was tested? 30 years he was tested as a little child. was 21:38 tested to see whether he'd obey Joseph and Mary. To obey someone who's perfect is easy. If you have a godly elder brother, to submit to him and obey him is very easy. What if you have in your office an 21:54 ungodly man who doesn't obey God's word? Jesus is an example for us. He had imperfect Joseph and Mary as his earthly parents. He had to be educated to be an example for us. And so God kept him in a very 22:12 poor home with four younger brothers, two younger sisters who would have irritated him numerous times and an imperfect Joseph and an imperfect Mary whose authority he had to live under. Do you think Joseph and Mary ever fought 22:26 with each other? You think they argued with each other and yelled at each other? I I mean, if you're not a Roman Catholic, you'll believe that definitely they did that. Roman Catholics probably don't believe it, but I believe with all 22:42 my heart that Joseph and Mary fought like any other couple. And who was watching it? Jesus. But he did not despise them. That's the thing. And he submitted to them even though they were imperfect and he saw their imperfection. 23:02 Amazing to see somebody imperfect. For example, a brother sees an elder and something's wrong with that elder. Most believers will just despise him. Jesus would not. These are little examples. 23:19 And this is what people must see in our life. An uprightness, a righteousness and peace and a joy in the Holy Spirit. So if we are sensitive in our conscience it can be fulfilled in us that people can say like we John says here we saw 23:34 something in this person's life that should be our calling brother sister not just that in CFC Austin you you know you had great outreach and so many people from join new people have come that's good but I'd rather have a small church of 23:53 people who are full of righteousness peace and joy and who love one another and who are at peace all the time and who are full of the joy of the Lord and who are absolutely upright in their life than a huge church with a whole lot of 24:08 people with misunderstandings and disputes and quarrels and gossiping and backbiting and all that I I definitely would choose a church where people have quality of life righteousness peace and joy because that 24:27 is our testimony. The other thing I want to emphasize to have this testimony is from one is one Peter 5. In one Peter in chapter 5 we read verse 5 1 Peter 5:5 24:53 along with righteousness peace and joy the Holy Spirit Romans 14:17 here is another very very important quality that we all need to have humility [clears throat] you probably heard me say this many times The three secrets of 25:08 the Christian life. Humility. Humility. Humility. But here it is. You younger men be subject to the elders. All of you clothe yourself with humility. So I've said 25:27 that is the dress we need to put on when we go to church. You know, people are very careful about being dressed in their Sunday best when they go to church. I'll tell you the dress you should have when you meet to the brothers and 25:40 sisters. Don't go naked. Many believers are naked. What do I mean? They are proud. They don't have the clothing of humility. Just clothe yourself with humility. 25:58 Dear brother, sister, if you don't have humility, you are you're walking around naked. That's the meaning you clothe yourself with humility. There are lots and lots of naked believers all around us. They come to church naked. 26:17 They go to work naked. Can you imagine? And they call themselves Christians. Every one of us must have this clothing, this dress. Clothe yourself with humility towards 26:36 one another because God is opposed to the proud but he gives grace to the humble. And the Bible says in Romans 6:14 that sin will not rule us when we have grace. And I've combined that verse Romans 6:14 26:55 which is a well-known verse in CFC circles. Sin will not rule over you when you're under grace. With this verse 1 Peter 5:5 which says God will give his grace to the humble. So I remember the days when I if I slipped up somewhere 27:13 and said something unwise or I was a little upset or a little anxious. I said, "Lord, why was I naked? Where did I become proud? Because I didn't get grace. If I had grace, I 27:33 would not have fallen into this grumbling or complaining or whatever it is. But I did. I fell into a little few moments of discouragement and depression. That means I was naked somewhere. Means I didn't have the dress of 27:48 humility, clothing of humility. Because if I was humble, God would give me grace. And sin cannot have dominion over me when I'm under when I'm under grace. There's not a sin in the world that can rule me. It is impossible. I'll have 28:00 100% victory over sin when I'm under grace. And anytime I slip up, I have to say, "Lord, I lost my clothing." How do you feel if in the midst of somewhere you lose suddenly your dress falls off or your trousers fall 28:20 off? How you feel? It's like that. We have to see sin like that. Lord, I lost grace there. That's why I sinned and I lost grace because I was not humble. So when I whenever I slipped up in those olden days, I would say now 28:37 Lord should I don't I won't ask why did I fall. I know why I fell. I didn't get grace and I know why I didn't get grace. I was proud somewhere. So whenever I slipped up somewhere even in a word or a thought or a look or anything, I would 28:51 say Lord tell me where was I proud? Where did I lose my clothing? Where did I become naked? And the Lord would show me a few days earlier in some situation. I got a little puffed up, 29:09 a little proud over something I did or in my attitude towards someone and I didn't judge myself. If it is only a temptation, it's okay. Temptation will come to all of us. It came to Jesus, too. But I kept it with me. I kept on looking down on that person 29:27 or elevating myself over that other person. I didn't see that as something wrong. The Bible says, "Consider every person as more important than yourself." Do you know that verse? It's a beautiful verse. Philippians chapter 2. 29:47 It doesn't say you must consider others as more spiritual than yourself. That is impossible. Consider everyone Philippians 2 and verse three the last part please see it so if you don't know that's such a verse like this this is a mark of 30:05 humility one mark of humility Philippians 2:3 don't do things from empty pride but with humility of mind humility is in the mind not in the way we behave It's in the mind. If you're not humble in the mind, you can act humble on the 30:25 outside. You're just a downright hypocrite. But the humility of mind is proved by the fact that you consider everyone else as more important than yourself. Not more spiritual, but more important. Jesus did not consider anyone more 30:42 spiritual than himself. He knew he was more spiritual than all his disciples and everybody in the world. He knew that. It didn't make him proud. That's just a fact. So if you're more spiritual than everybody in your family or 30:54 everybody in your office, that should not puff you up. It's just a fact. And Jesus was but he Jesus considered everybody's more important. That's why in the last day of his life, he washed the feet even of Judas's Scariot. You 31:07 know that Jesus washed Judas's sciat because Judas's scariot was more spiritual or it was because he considered everybody is more important. I am a servant. Everybody's more important than me. I tell you, my brothers, please take me 31:25 seriously. If you listen to these few things I'm saying, your life will be radically transformed from tomorrow. You experience a level of victory over sin that you've never experienced so far in your life. You'll experience a level of victory 31:41 over your moods and your attitudes and your thoughts and those accidental words of anger that come out of your life. Sometimes it'll disappear, disappear because you're constantly rooted and grounded in recognizing everybody around 31:57 me is more important than me. I'm not the most important person around here. I'm the least important person here. Even though you may be the most spiritual person, Jesus was the most spiritual and that's why he washed everybody's feet. 32:14 So these are the important things and then then you see the doctrine we stand for and all that has value. When when you look at all the different churches, they all say we don't agree with that church and this doctrine, that doctrine, 32:31 that's why we had a meeting separately. And even in CFC we say we don't agree with that church and this church and the other church that's why we meet separately and we meet on our own. But if that's that is true but if that's not the main thing 32:44 the main thing is we don't agree with that way of life that way of life where we don't take up the cross every day we don't deny ourselves every day we don't die to ourselves every day that's what I don't agree with. Then doctrines like water baptism and 33:01 baptism in the Holy Spirit and being taking up the cross and all come after that. But it's that way of life that I don't agree with. So I don't want to glory in that fact that our doctrines are better than others. So please think about these things dear 33:20 brothers and sisters and I pray that it'll make a difference in our home. See, at the end of every year, we hope that our children would have moved on to the next grade in school. And if a child fails and sits in the 33:37 same class, same grade, we'd be very disappointed. See, God has ordained that the uh earth goes around the sun in 365 and a quarter days. That one year period is ordained by God 33:54 from ages ago. So that's a good period where you come the earth comes back to the same place after one year and so we can ask ourselves in this one circle that the earth made around the sun uh how much have I progressed. I think God 34:10 has kept it like that for us to have a checkup on our life once a year like they do in the school. Has he did he get did he get promoted to the next grade or is he sitting in the same class? Do you get a promotion from that 34:25 means are you have you learned something new about God's ways now that you did not know a year ago especially now we have entered 2026 or will 2026 find us in the same rut we were in in 2025 it's good to examine ourselves I do it 34:42 all the time because I don't want to sit in the same class year after year I want to be moving on the Bible says let us press on to perfection In our church in Bangalore, we all had that verse written on our pullpit. Let 34:57 us press on to perfection. I was challenging everybody when they came into the church building, they would see that pulpit right in front of them. And the word there was, let us press on to perfection. And the person who stood behind the 35:11 pullpit should keep that in mind when he speaks. And so it was also a testimony to others who you know blamed us saying you CFC people think you're perfect. I say no just see what's written in our pullpit. That pullpit is a testimony that we are 35:26 saying we are not perfect. We are pressing on to perfection. But we don't sit back and say one day God will make us Jesus will make us like himself. No we pressing on to perfection. And that's what I want to encourage all of you to 35:41 be in and never be content with. I I've been a Christian as I said 67 years but I tell you honestly I am not content with my life. I'm I want to be more like Jesus within the next month and definitely with before the end of this 35:58 year. I want to be much more like Christ in my thoughts and attitudes and and my attitude to money and attitude to people and attitude of those who disagree with me. I need more wisdom. I need to be more in touch with God and especially 36:14 when I speak to people to be more in touch with God so that I know exactly what to say to different people whether in a meeting or in personal conversation. See, many of you may not speak in meetings, but you have a lot of 36:29 interaction with people and with believers. And if you're in touch with God, one sentence from your mouth can be a word of God to somebody. Seek brothers and sisters to be in their sisters have equal opportunity. You may 36:49 not have opportunity to preach in the meeting, but you meet individuals and words from your mouth can bless them and change the course of their life. That'll come if you are in touch with God. One more thing from one John 37:08 and chapter 1. 1 John chapter 1. How can what is the basis of fellowship with God? How can I fellowship with God? God is so holy. We're million millions of miles away 37:28 from him in relation to holiness. So if he made that the condition, be holy as God is holy and that I could reach that standard before I can have fellowship. I can never have fellowship. Probably when I get to heaven, not 37:40 before that. But John says in 1 John 1:7, we have fellowship with God and with one another. And the condition is very simple. Verse 7, 37:57 1 John 1:7, if we walk in the light as God is in the light, that doesn't mean becoming like him. No, it just means that what does a light do? Light reveals everything. People who commit sin always do it in 38:18 the darkness. Whether it's murder or adultery or theft or whatever it is, they don't like the light. People commit sin always in the darkness. And walking in the light means throwing myself open completely. To be absolutely 38:34 ruthlessly honest. That's the one thing we can all be. And uh even a prostitute can be honest. I am a prostitute. She's honest. And that's how Jesus welcomed people. He didn't ask them to be holy. He asked 38:53 them to be honest first. That is the meaning of walking in the light. The simple meaning of walking in the light means I'm not hiding anything. I'm admitting this is what I am. You know this desire to justify myself is a very common characteristic of the 39:09 race of Adam and we got to get rid of it from our lives completely. There's much more wrong in us than we think. And if we walk in the light, God will show that to us more and more and more and more. And I personally believe that I should 39:25 be discovering areas of uncristlikeness in my life constantly. I'll be unhappy if A whole year goes by and I haven't discovered anything more uncristlike in me. Have you discovered anything uncristlike in you in 2025? 39:43 Maybe that you're too talkative that you talk so much that you don't don't give a chance to other people to talk. I don't think Jesus was like that. Oh, it could be different things that that there are in us. And it's not that 40:00 something speaks about it and then you get light on it. Oh, today I heard about being talkative. I got some light on that. No, brother. If you live like that, you'll always be waiting to hear something in a meeting. You need to hear 40:11 the Holy Spirit speaking in your heart. Things that you never hear in a meeting. And if you're never hearing the Holy Spirit in your heart and you're only living by what you hear in a message, well, what shall I say? I feel sorry for 40:27 you. You're not going to make much progress. I'll tell you that right now. Because there's a limit to how much we can hear in messages of the Holy Spirit. You know that verse in John 16, John's gospel, 40:49 he says in John 16:13, the Holy Spirit is called the spirit of truth and he will guide you or lead you into all the truth about yourself. Isn't that great? 41:08 Then the Holy Spirit will guide you and lead you into all the truth about yourself which you don't see. There's a lot inside us which we don't see. But the Holy Spirit will lead us into it. If you are eager, he will not force. 41:27 One thing about Jesus, he never forces anyone. You know that God doesn't force anyone even to go to heaven. If somebody wants to disobey him and go to hell, God says okay. is amazing that God doesn't even force people to go 41:42 to heaven much less it is does he force a Christian to be holy if you want to live always a substandard Christian life saying nobody in the church knows that I do certain things in secret okay you want to live like that I have a good 41:59 testimony in Austin CFC as a good brother good sister and some thank God they don't discover some of these are things that are wrong in my home life. They don't see how I get upset with my wife or husband at home. Thank God for 42:12 that. If you're that type of life, brother, sister, you're going to have a tremendous shock when Christ comes again. If at all you get into God's kingdom, I doubt whether you will. Walk in the light. Then we can have fellowship with God 42:30 right now. And only then will the blood of Jesus cleanse you from all sin. That's a word that so many believers take. The blood of Jesus cleanses me. Really, not if you don't walk in the light. Not if you don't walk in absolute ruthless 42:49 honesty about yourself. And there's something which you have to have dealings with God in this area. Lord, I want to be absolutely honest with you. that thought I had or that attitude I had that wasn't right. One of the character, you know, we all 43:09 know that we don't want to be Pharisees, but there's one characteristic of the Pharisees sometimes we don't think about. And I want to show that to you in Luke 16. We know one of the primary characteristics of the Pharisees was 43:27 hypocrisy. That means they pretended to be holy when they were not. But here's another one that many people don't think about. Luke 16 verse 15. Jesus told the Pharisees, "You are those who justify yourself in the sight of 43:47 men." Do you have that quality? You have that quality by some chance that you always want to justify yourself and prove that you are holy to other people. If somebody thinks you're not so holy and you want to do something and 44:06 say something to prove that you are actually holy and you are not so such a carnal person as that person who has a low opinion about you. You you feel a bit uneasy when somebody has a low opinion about you and you somehow want 44:18 to get him to raise his opinion about you so he thinks better about you. That is that's that's this verse. You are those who justify yourself in the sight of men. But God knows your heart. And he says all this justifying yourself 44:35 listen to this. This justifying yourself in the sight of men is an abomination in the sight of God. It is an abomination detestable that you want to prove yourself holy before men. Forget it. From today 44:54 onwards, forget it. Say, "Lord, I want to live before your face alone. Walk in the light with him." I pray there'll be progress in our life in the coming days, the rest of this
