3:09 December month Last month uh end of December, we had a youth camp in Tamil Nadu. Um Fear of God is the best choice. The theme for the youth camp that we had 3:27 is the fear of God is the best choice. So So, I'd like to share a few things that I shared with them with you as well. We We should 3:52 have the fear of God not just for young people for of us throughout our lifetime. One is the fear of God and other is the love of God. We can't separate these two. We should start our life with the fear 4:11 of God. How? There's so many benefits that are written in the Bible about fearing God. We can meditate one or two now. 4:38 Proverbs chapter 20 Sorry, Proverbs chapter 14 verse 27. Verse 27. Cut The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life. That one may avoid the snares of death. 5:04 Fountain of life. And we can continually drink from it. And the genuine We should always 5:23 drink the fear of the Lord from this fountain. And the fear of God Because we drink from this fountain, the fountain of fear of God we may avoid 5:41 we may escape the snares of death. There is so many snares of death that we have. pleasure of this world riches of the world 6:01 and the honor of this world. Of all the snares of death, the major snares that we have are the pleasures of the world, the riches of the world, honor of this world and the honor of the world. I want to show that words to you. 6:21 Ecclesiastes book chapter 7 Ecclesiastes chapter 7 verse 26 verse 26 we read like this. a sinful woman a sensual sexual sinful woman 6:40 verse 26 verse 26 We read about a sense sinful woman verse 26. And I discovered more bitter than death the woman whose heart is snares and nets. Whose hands are chains. And one who is pleasing to God will escape from her, 6:59 but the sinner will be captured by her. So One who is pleasing to God or one who fears God will escape all the snares. 7:17 Probably a woman will be captured We read about For example We read about different characters in 7:35 the Bible not just about women. You know, for example, Delilah was such a Wife of Potiphar, she was such a snare. Amnon was a snare. Shechem a woman Shechem Shechem he was a 7:56 snare. When it talks about woman whose heart is snare, it's not just about woman. It could be a man or a woman. Yes, when we have the fear of God, we 8:14 can sense or smell such ones. Fear of God is a sweet aroma. That's what we read. and the trained dogs railway junctions 8:36 trained trained dogs Just like a trained dog in a airport or in a railway station can sniff and identify prohibited things. Just like that. Yes. In this place 8:57 even even homo We can find out you know that this boy is not right. He is a He is of homosexual desires. the girl or lesbian porno addict We can find out that this girl is a lesbian or this person is an 9:16 addict to phone pornography. in the way that they speak in the way that behave in the way that they live in their rooms. We need the fear of God. When when we 9:33 have the fear of God, we can find out. We can escape from snares, nets, and chains. For example Samson the man who For example, Samson the man who received the spirit of God. 9:53 Joseph the man who Joseph on the other hand, he also received the spirit of God. Verse two was equal to Joseph. Verse two, the Lord was with Joseph. Verse three was equal to Joseph. In verse three, the Lord was with Joseph. 10:12 Verse 21 was equal to Verse 21, again, we read the same thing. But the Lord was with Joseph. Verse 23 was equal to In verse 23, again, the Lord was with him. It was Did you notice this in the same chapter 10:30 four times? The Lord was with Joseph. The Lord was with him. The Lord was with him. The Lord was with Joseph. And what was Joseph's testimony? We can read that in verse 10. We don't know how it is in English. 10:54 In Tamil, it is written beautifully. But Joseph did not want to or did not be with her. She spoke to Joseph day after day, but 11:14 he did not listen to her to lie beside her or be with her. Joseph did not want to be with her. And this is what we read. Lord was with Joseph. The Lord was with Joseph. The 11:33 Lord was with Joseph. The Lord was with Joseph. Okay. Joseph On the other hand, Joseph Joseph did not want to even be with a woman who was like a snare. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. 11:50 This is how our testimony should be. He was a man who feared God. And the And the woman And the lady He knew very well that this woman And this lady is a snare. When she comes on this side, he will run 12:11 away on the other side. And in the gate in the gate will be one. If she comes on this store, she will He will run away on the other side. And all the words that she spoke was flattery. Flattery is like a net. 12:28 To trap the other person. Even if you are a slave, you are a handsome person. You are very smart. You are smart. You are wise. Smart, clever, clever. You are a clever 12:45 person. You are a handsome person. Young people Both sex and all the children Flattery and this is how you do Both side, whether it's a boy or a girl, if it's a flattery, it's a snare to you. 13:04 They are trying They are putting their net out for you. Daily Flattery daily On a daily basis, she came to Joseph and she was flattering Joseph. She couldn't win Joseph by flattery. 13:24 Now, she started to command or exercise authority. Oh, you're a slave. Do you know who I am? You have to, you know, give in to me. When the flattery did not work out, now 13:44 they're trying to rule over. I don't know whether you have thought about this or not. High office of official in the office of 14:08 the street by the person who was Do you know what kind of woman that Satan used to trap Joseph? It was not just an ordinary woman. A woman who was in a high position. Egyptian lady She was a Egyptian lady. Powerful lady 14:23 Powerful lady On the other hand, Joseph is just a slave. Satan knew this. He is a man who has, you know, such a fear of God. To trap him, I don't I can't use 14:44 ordinary lady. I need to bring a woman who is very powerful. Satan from the beginning, you know, he he is a cunning person. But Joseph did not want to be with her. 15:10 I mean, the last step is Sin, you know, lying with her is that That's the last step. Beginning Where does it start? Where does it begin? We can't escape this world. We have to stay We can't escape this world. We have 15:29 to stay here on this world. We need to go to college to study. We may have to stay in hostel. We may have to go to work. Yes, we may have to go to so many different places and we have to mingle 15:47 with the opposite gender. On In such surroundings, when we have the fear of God, we can smell. I shouldn't be in this place. I shouldn't be with this girl or I 16:06 shouldn't be with this boy. Book of Hosea Next to Daniel Next to Daniel Chapter seven Chapter seven Verse eight and nine Eight and nine Hosea chapter seven 16:28 Eight and nine Verse eight and nine, please. Ephraim mixes himself with the nations. Ephraim has become a cake not turned. Strangers devour his strength. Yet he does not know it. Gray hairs also are sprinkled on him. Yet he does not know it. 16:47 Abraham Unbelievers come to the ground. Ephraim mixes himself with the heathens, with nations. With unbelievers 1 Corinthians chapter five 17:08 We'll come back to this. You can keep a cross reference for this verse. 1 Corinthians chapter five 1 Corinthians chapter five Verse 10 Verse 10 I did not at all mean with the immoral people of this world or with the 17:26 covetous, swindlers, idolaters. For then you would have to go out of the world. I did not at all mean with the immoral people of the world. That's the case. You may have to go out 17:45 of the world. Yeah, we have to be with them. We associate with them, you know, for our daily work. Chapter seven eight and nine Chapter seven eight verse 18:04 But we read in Hosea chapter seven verse eight. Ephraim mixes himself with the nations. Heathens with the nations Off baked Off baked Off baked bread He is an off baked 18:23 you know, bread. It It's baked. On the other hand, it's not On the other hand, it's not baked. What What does it mean? On one hand, he is showing up himself to the Lord. 18:42 On the other hand, on the other side, he is showing himself to the world. Church Sunday church can be good. On one side, when they come, they show up the baked side to the church. Remaining days six days On the remaining six side, on the 18:58 remaining six days, they show the other side to the And the God will say you are bread or cake which is not turned. In Tamil, they say, you know, off cooked. Off boiled Off boiled Off boiled 19:21 Off boiled chicken We can call that person off boiled person. When you see off boiled, I know, in any shop, remember Hosea. One face God One face world One face to God and 19:40 one face to the world. Church Sunday church One face World to go One face to the church and Sunday and other face to the world. What does mean? The world has influenced them. Beloved, we are talking about the 19:59 balance here. We can't escape this world, go away from this world. We may have to associate with the world, go and come and do so many things. But we shouldn't be off boiled. And Hosea 20:18 talks about Ephraim that you are off boiled. We can see the next verse as well. You know, I mean that Strangers, 20:37 they devour his strength. For example, for example, the strength of Samson, Delilah was, you know, devouring it. The other women, because they were 20:58 mingling or mixing with Samson, they are devouring or eating up the wisdom of Samson. wisdom of Solomon. You have been put it on the young Solomon. Such a wise person. They they are eating Other women, they were eating or 21:16 devouring the wisdom of Solomon. Samson Korea in the ballet day, Delilah going to die. The spiritual strength that Samson had, Delilah was devouring it. The sad part is Solomon or Samson, they 21:34 did not realize that. You know, we read about that in the Bible. Samson got up, you know, and said, "No, I will go. I have my strength. I can go." You know, but he didn't realize that he 21:51 was bald now. His head was shaved. They have They have completely shaved off his head. He lost his strength. He lost his wisdom. He lost the faith. He lost the fear of God. He lost the love for the Lord. 22:10 And they devoured They ate up everything. Number three, companionship, number three, or number three, netbook of Yes, beloved, it's important to check You know, where do we have our friendship with our companions with? To sense that, we need the fear of God. 22:35 Whether should I stay in this place? I know of a young person. I don't know if I have mentioned it before. young person in a church. or marriage proposal to where they are now. It was a time where 22:54 he is about to get marriage proposal. a denominational church in the city of LA. And he was mentioning it to me, you 23:14 know, my parents, they in the church, old church that we are going to a Roman Catholic church, they they are considering a girl from that church. This boy got took baptism in the church and they finished the engagement. 23:41 And we ask him, you you took baptism and you are a born again believer. Now, how can you be yoked with an unbeliever in marriage? And he said, "Brother, I don't have such a faith." marriage with a faith in the LA. And he 24:05 replied saying, "Brother, I don't have the faith to stand up against my parents to marry a believer from the church." You know, he is saying that he doesn't have faith in the LA. They say it so easily saying, "Oh, I don't have such a faith." And the 24:20 marriage is going to happen in the LA in the church in the LA. And he is saying after the marriage, I'll bring my wife to the church. Do you know why he did not have the faith? Ship called faith was shipwrecked long 24:41 back. I'm again asking him. Now, I love church in the LA and visit the pool. The guy in the city of LA. I was talking to a this young boy when I was visiting a different church. So, I couldn't just leave him and come off 25:00 come off like that. So, I asked him about his background. You need You need to get a plane. Now, I asked him, "Where are you now?" I'm working in Sipcot. Okay, in the city of LA. Where are you staying now? 25:19 I'm staying in a room. So, I asked him, "Who are your roommates?" LA Hindu boys or LA Christians or in the city of LA? Who are your roommates? Are they they are Hindus or Christians? Five of them are there and all of them 25:35 are Hindus. How long have you been staying there? For a year. Okay, at the gallery. Next question. room in the city of LA, the boys LA computer in the LA, internet in the LA computer in the LA, phone in the LA, mobile in the LA 25:55 LA in the city of LA, porno in the city of LA So, I asked them, "The boys in your room, your roommates, do they watch pornography on their phones or on the computers?" LA Yes, they do watch. Okay. LA And I asked him, "Do you watch?" 26:19 He put his head down. LA Yes, I do watch. His conscience You know, He has long back 26:38 His dad showed his conscience. LA showed his conscience long back. Do you know where we should share? We should do it to our eyes, to the lust of the eyes. But many young people, they share their 26:58 conscience. What did the conscience tell them? No. 108 ambulance When you see on the road the ambulance, they it makes such a loud noise. His conscience should have told him, 27:20 "Escape. Run out from the room. Don't be in this room." They are going to die. All of them are trying to devour your faith. Escape from the Don't stay in this room. The conscience would have cried out. 27:40 Don't be here. Don't stay in this room. Do not associate with them. You know, he 28:00 He he had heated up the rod. He should have put it on his He should have put it on his eyes instead to his conscience. He showed his conscience. Timothy is saying this. In the last days The last days, liars have showed their 28:19 conscience. That's what it means. with him. You know, like we read in 28:36 Hosea 7 8, they devoured his strength. They devoured his faith. Then where will he have faith? How can he fight for the faith according 28:55 to the word that we read in Second Corinthians 6:14 6:14 that I won't get married to an unbeliever. I won't get married to an unbeliever. Even if I'm not married, I'll stay single. I'm a born again believer and I'm going 29:14 to get married to a born again believer. Why did he did not have the faith to stand up against his parents? Our faith is the one that overcomes the world. Why he did not have such a faith? Somewhere in some secret places, he has 29:37 showed his conscience. You know, you need to get up. Get up. Get up. Even then, I told him, "Yes, you have failed. You've fallen. All you can get up now. I Confess it to the Lord. Confess your sin to the Lord. 29:56 Vacate this room. I will talk to the local elders there and ask them to arrange a room for you. You can be restored. You can have fellowship with the brothers. You can be restored. You can have fellowship with the brothers. 30:16 My dear young boys and my children. My dear young boys and my children. It's the fellowship that can protect you. We can be on fire for the Lord. And I told him fellowship with the 30:35 brothers and I spoke to the elder there and came back. And I told him don't get into this marriage proposal. Wait. I finished that and came back home. Next week I inquired about that boy to 30:54 the local church elder. And he said, brother, that boy stopped coming to the church. That's all. Like this many you know they come and 31:18 they get this life but they gets they are trapped into the snare of death. Let's be careful. Let's fear the Lord and let us not damage our faith. And you know like we read in verse nine 31:45 that we may not know that we are losing our strength, our faith. Do I know whether I have gray hair here? That's what we read there, gray hairs. Somebody will have to look into me and 32:07 tell me. You know I myself may not know that I have gray hair. Same way I I may not know that strength is departing from me. I'm losing my strength. Yes, let us 32:27 fear God. When we fear God we can escape when we fear God we can escape Joseph's snares. Joseph is such a classic example in the Old Testament. He escaped and ran. Even though he lost you know dress he 32:54 did not lose you know the waist coat like called faith. or truth sorry We read that earn truth and don't sell it. Don't sell truth at any point of time. 33:16 Even though he lost you know the dress He did not lose truth. He had truth. holiness costly holiness In the Old Covenant the holiness that he had was a costly holiness. For about 10 years he stayed in the 33:38 prison. Praise the Lord he was the Old Covenant man. holiness costly The holiness of Jesus it was a costly holiness. Yes beloved as young people our holiness should be costly. costly holiness If your eye is a 33:59 stumbling block to you pluck it off. That's costly holiness. costly holiness If your hand is stumbling to you cut it off. That is costly holiness. The one who said this you know when it 34:16 comes to sin he was shedding blood fight against sin Jesus Christ. Yes beloved let's fight a good fight. The Old Covenant man could live a life like this. If we are in the New Covenant and have 34:36 received the Holy Spirit how much more that we can live this life? When we drink the fear of God from the fountain of life we can escape such snares of death. Yes. I want to point out this verse and talk 34:59 about another benefit of fearing the Lord. chapter 6 1 Timothy chapter 6 We read about a snare here. One who wants to become rich. 1 Timothy 35:15 chapter 6 verse 9 1 Timothy 6:9 Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish So many things are written there. Those who want to become rich get rich 35:34 it's a snare. As young people we should keep this word in our heart. Lord I shouldn't go back behind money to earn more and more and more. God is first place in my life. 35:57 Money is not first place. Love of money and to get rich that's a snare. Okay 1 Timothy chapter 3 1 Timothy chapter 3 We read about another snare. 36:16 from verse 6 6 and 7 6 and 7 And not a new convert so that he will not become conceited and fall into condemnation incurred by the devil. And he must have a good reputation with those outside the church so that he will not fall into reproach and the snare of 36:35 the devil. become conceited we do read about conceit here become proud Lucifer he become proud and become 36:54 Satan. What was the snare here? What is the snare of devil? make us become conceited to make us be arrogant make us become proud 37:14 make us seek honor make someone exalt himself I don't know about city even in villages 37:37 in Tamil Nadu many want to become YouTubers. Many have this ambition that I want to become a YouTuber. I should have so many likes and subscribers and I should earn 37:55 money. What can I say all this is snare of the lust of youth I should somehow promote myself and 38:13 exalt myself. God could do and God could do by the mighty power We need the fear of God to escape such snares. Okay another blessing another blessing 38:31 Need my Proverbs sorry Psalms Psalm 25 Psalm 25 verse 12 verse 12 beautiful verse possible 38:49 My eyes are continually toward the Lord for he will pluck my feet out of the net. Sorry 25 verse 12 sorry 25 verse 12 Who is the man who fears the Lord? He will instruct him in the way he should 39:06 choose. or Living Bible paraphrase there God will teach him how to choose the best of the new second In Living Bible paraphrase we read like this that God will teach him how to choose the best. Who is the man who fears the Lord? He 39:30 will instruct him in the way he should choose. How can I choose something that pleases the Lord? You may be a teenager. And then after then group 39:48 education choose what education should should I choose next and which group should I study and which job should I choose which job should I choose? And then in the job when I go to a different country or go and can I go to a different country 40:02 because of the job can I go or should I not go? I know the life partner I choose how can I choose my life partner? In different points of time in our life we may have to choose so many different things. And parents guidance church elders 40:22 guidance yeah we may have the guidance of parents or the elders from the church. But when we have the fear of the Lord 40:40 within us God will instruct us tell us which way to choose. What should I choose? For example for example I've shared brother Sunil's testimony in many places. 40:57 Today is another chance for me. I know to tell him when he is here. When he chose his job listen to his testimony. I don't know whether you have heard it 41:14 but please share your testimony. You know I don't know the job carrier like they want to buy and then they want to buy and then I would like carrier and the job carrier choose they want to buy and choose they want to buy. When he chose his job his 41:34 career he feared the Lord and he chose. And he was escaped from death. So I don't know the way that When you have time go and ask him his testimony. Okay. 41:51 So You know God will instruct him in the way that he should choose. I don't know what you want to buy what is the qualification for that we should fear the Lord. I don't know what you want to buy you don't know what you want to buy that's 42:10 the another blessing that we have. For example I want to show couple of things from the life of Jesus. 30 years At the age of 30 um Nazareth 42:29 the touch better carpentry shop close when you are there. He had to close the carpentry shop in Nazareth. Now he has to choose. We are going to buy now. I want to buy now I want to buy now I want to buy now I want to buy now. 42:43 Shall I close down the job shall I give voluntary retirement? I choose I want to buy now I want to buy now I want to buy now I want to buy now. I choose he had to choose. Okay next next I want to buy now I want to buy now I 42:55 want to buy now I want to buy now should I take baptism or not? I want to buy now I want to buy now I want to buy now. I don't need to take baptism. I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you 43:02 want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what 43:07 you want to buy. I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy. He he chose the best of best I don't know what you want to buy I 43:16 don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you Okay. I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I 43:22 don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to Should I stay in Nazareth or should I wake it Nazareth? I don't know what you want to buy. Go to Capernaum. And he chose a different place. So in different you know point in life 43:38 he had to choose different things. He had about 70 disciples. I don't choose I want to buy. I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to Now I need to choose between the 70 and make them 43:57 apostles. Tomorrow you may have to choose a job you may have to choose a life partner. Should I stay in this town or go to the other town? I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to That's how it was for Jesus just like 44:14 how it is for us. When he was young person I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know He had to choose 12 disciples. He prayed the whole night and he chose 12 people. How did it happen? 44:30 He feared the Lord. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Man who fears the Lord I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what He will instruct the way that he should choose. Yes. I don't know what you want to buy. Yes 44:45 close the carpentry shop. I don't know what you want to buy. Start the full time ministry now. Don't be Nazareth now. I don't know what you want to buy. Go to Capernaum. You take this baptism now. You choose this 12 disciples. Praise the 44:59 Lord. Praise the Lord. Like this about 1,000 things in his life. He was dependent on the Lord and he chose different things. Because of the fear of the Lord. Okay. 45:16 Before Nazareth till the age of 30 Which way did he choose? Way of submission. He chose the way of submission. Way of the cross. Way of the cross. Way of brokenness. Way of brokenness. Praise the Lord. Even at the age of 12 he was very clear 45:42 when it comes to the you know his father's business. I don't know what you want to buy. Yes young people first choose the way of submission in your life. Honoring your parents obeying your parents way of submission 46:01 way I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy. As a young person you know when you 46:16 choose the way of obeying your parents submitting to your parents and honoring the parents then in your 20s and 30s when you have to choose different different things in your life you can choose the way of God. How to choose the best of the yes. 46:37 I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you When he talks about he will instruct him in the way he should choose how did how did it go in Jesus life we have one record when he was at 46:46 the age of 12. I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you For a few minutes I want to show the 46:55 life of Jesus in Nazareth. I like I like to encourage you to meditate along with me. In Bible we have just one record in Luke 2. I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy. 47:15 I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want 47:20 to buy I don't We know this passage. Jesus parents missed him. um I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to In verse 41 what was important to them? 47:33 I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you Verse 42 I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I 47:41 I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to Verse 42 we read about that the rituals were important to them. Jesus was just 12 years old. I don't know what you want to buy I don't know 48:41 what you want to They are coming back after 3 days. I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to When they came back after 3 days what was the mentality of their parents? 48:54 I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want He was not about 22 years old. I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know Great feast and lot of crowd. I don't 49:04 know what you want to buy I don't know what They missed him and they left. You know he was thinking about this oh should I look for my parents here there he didn't do any of that he came straight to the church and sat in the 49:19 church. If there was a giant wheel there he was not standing next to the giant wheel to see there. I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you He came straight to the church. 49:34 I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I don't know what you want to buy I 3 days he was sitting with the priest and talking to them. When the parents came to him, what 49:43 should what should be their reaction? Who missed him? The parents who missed him. He was just 12 years old. Sorry sorry but They should have said, "Oh, sorry Jesus, we missed you." Kiss but he could not let they should 50:02 have hugged him and oh, we found you. We missed you. Sorry. Verse 48. Son. Son. Why have you treated us this way? Behold, your father and I have been 50:25 anxiously looking for you. Is is this the way that they respond to a lost son for 3 days? Sorry sorry sorry sorry. You see the spirit in the one on one 50:47 hand the spirit could have been oh, we missed you. We lost you for 3 days. Sorry about it. We found you again. That is one spirit on the other side. Son. Why have you treated us this way? Yeah, but The 2024 Immanuels would have asked the 51:06 his parents like this, "Was it my mistake or your mistake?" What is my age and what is your age? I was not important for you. The feast was important for you. Friends are important for you. Relatives are important for you. 51:24 Did you you know inquire of me? Now you are coming and asking questions to me. After 3 days. You are asking me what are you doing? To 2024 Immanuels. This are 2024 Immanuels. Should look unto Jesus. 51:51 So, what does it prove that they were of this flesh? Natural men. They were just natural men. Mere men. They were just mere men. This is my perspective and my thinking. 52:27 You know, this question, "Why have you treated this way?" They would have asked Jesus not just once. They would have asked him many times. 30 years they would have asked him many different times. He was a spiritual man. 52:46 At the age of 12 he was at his father's business. At the age of 25 how much more he would have been in father's business? At the age of 30 how much more he would have been in father's his father's business? Natural mere men are equal 53:06 Many things that Jesus did his parents who are just mere natural men they did not understand it. First Corinthians chapter 2. In in the worst part that I can go. When we look into this verse we will understand that. First Corinthians chapter 2. Verse 14. 53:25 Verse 14. But a natural man does not accept the things of the spirit of God. For a natural man does not accept the things of the spirit of God. Paul talks about three kind of men. Natural man, carnal man, spiritual man. 53:43 Natural man, carnal man, and spiritual man. In chapter 2 and 3. Natural man, carnal man, spiritual man. Natural man, carnal man, and spiritual man. Mary and Joseph those who lived in the world coming in they were just natural 54:02 men. They were just natural people. They they does they don't accept the things of the spirit of God. But Jesus was a spiritual man. 54:20 At the age of 12 he was a spiritual man. The age of 25 28 he was a spiritual man. At the age of 30 he was a spiritual man. Throughout you know, whatever was his age he was doing the things after the Lord. Jesus saying that everything you know 54:42 what to do but you might have done it wrong. And for Mary and Joseph whatever Jesus did it was it looked to looked to them as foolishness. And that's how they saw that. Yeah, I think we can say that. And that is why they asked this question, "Why 54:58 are you treating us this way?" At the age of 15. At the age of 20. Why are why are you doing like this? They may have asked like this as well. Immanuel. Immanuel. You remember too much I mean to you are going too much. You are going way above 55:26 you are doing so many things which are way above you too much. What you do we can't accept. What Jesus would have replied in all this times? I am doing you know, what my father wants me to do. I'm not doing my will. 55:46 I'm doing my father's will. At what age? He mentioned at the age of 12. And his parents thinking that something is wrong with him. In all these places imagine how much he 56:05 would have struggled with them. We read that in Mark 3. His household his kinsmen they thought that he was mad and they wanted to capture him and take him. To his own household he looked like a 56:26 mad person. All his things looked to him as foolishness. That is how God had kept Jesus for 30 years. But he honored his parents. Way of submission. He went the way of 56:44 submission. For for 30 years. How much he would have struggled? His brother On the other hand his brothers. The brothers who did not believe in him. All were natural men. You know, in the midst of all the 57:09 natural men those who are not saved one spiritual man in between them. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. He was doing the will of the father. He did not sin. Through trials and sufferings he learned to obedience. And he had 57:33 mind of suffering. And he suffered. What was the way that he chose? He feared the Lord. Because of the fear of the Lord his prayers were heard. Because he feared God his prayers were heard. In all different circumstances God show 57:59 showed him what you should choose. Yes. Yes, young people don't miss out this opportunity this age. Honor your parents. Even when they are not spiritual. 58:18 Even if they are not born again. Natural Even if they are mere natural men. Don't despise them. Even if your things look as foolishness to them submit to them. Suffer. 58:37 Fear God. When we when you go this way when things come in your life in different points of time God would say choose this. Choose this. Choose this particular thing. Praise the Lord. God has kept this life for us. 58:59 Christ is an example for us. Like to show one more blessing in closing. We read about so many blessings in the Bible when we fear God. Like to close with one more blessing. 59:17 Psalm 130. Psalm 130. 30. 30. Verse 4. Verse 4. Because we fear the Lord. Another blessing that we have. Verse four. But there is forgiveness with you that 59:38 you may be feared. Praise the Lord. promise that we have. What a wonderful blessing that we have. in the camp play in the youth camp play in the youth meeting play in the 59:55 You can receive the forgiveness of sins. Lord, let me fear you. First, I know the fear of the Lord means that I have the sorrow after the Lord. Lord, I have sinned so much against you. 1:00:17 I have sinned so much against my parents. I have sinned so much against my own body. I have sinned sinned against my conscience. I have sinned against people around me. In secret life I have sinned. 1:00:36 I have sinned in my thought life. Lord, I failed to fear you. Lord, now I want to fear you. And those who fear him like that God gives them forgiveness. One illustration for that. 1:00:59 Luke 23 You can read an example for that. Luke 23 Two thieves were crucified along with Jesus. One thief was despising Jesus. Verse 40, the other thief was asking him. 1:01:18 Verse 40 But the other answered and rebuking him and said, "Do you not even fear God?" Yeah. Who is teaching about the fear of God? A 1:01:36 thief is preaching about the fear of Throughout his lifetime he did not fear God. His mother was a Jewish woman. She would have taught the fear of God so much to him. In the synagogue teachers would have 1:01:54 taught him about the fear of God. Parents would have taught him about the fear of God. As the days went by He lost the fear of God. They started stealing. They, you know, he committed murder. Throughout his life stealing and murder. 1:02:15 Now he's on the cross. He is in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ. Now he's getting this fear. He is getting the fear of God now. Oh, I have lost the fear of God in my life. Now I am in my, you know, last breath. 1:02:38 He is the savior now. I can receive forgiveness from him. Yes, I need the forgiveness of my sins. This person, he can forgive my sins. He is forgiving everyone here. And this person I can see he is 1:03:00 forgiving everybody saying, "Father, forgive them." And this thief is looking into him. Oh, this person is forgiving everyone. He has not done any mistake. He is the son of God. He is the Messiah. He is Christ. 1:03:19 This person is forgiving so many people. He's going to forgive me as well. Oh, please forgive me. I want to fear you. Praise the Lord. Psalm 130 verse four was fulfilled in his life. You know, he received the forgiveness 1:03:40 because he feared the Lord. What did he do? He acknowledged his sin. He had the sense that he was a sinner. He confessed it to the Lord and he received forgiveness. 1:03:57 Yes, beloved. or forgiveness of sins or you can receive forgiveness Even in this conference you can receive the forgiveness of sin. You can receive salvation. Yes, we have the forgiveness of sins. Lord, I have not feared you 1:04:18 till this point of time. Now I want to fear you. Confess your sins to the Lord. If God is convicting of something, go and set it right. May God help us. 1:04:36 Amen.
