0:01 Good morning family. Um Yeah, what a wonderful uh reminders that doing God's will. Um I heard a statement that a lot of people saying um 0:19 we are pure bloodline of so-and-so. We are the pure race of so-and-so. Um but in my opinion there is only one pure race and one pure blood, that 0:37 is the blood of Jesus Christ. Amen. I believe 100% that um blood is thicker than water but the blood of Jesus. Um he created 0:57 by suffering coming down on this earth by paying a penalty for our sins and giving us salvation the expression of 1:15 clothing us with the garments of salvation and uh giving us the robe of righteousness. We only 1:32 uh read in Exodus chapter 28 that the high priest with the robes God designed uh were given to Aaron. The white robe 1:51 on top of it there is another blue robe a purple robe and another five colors coat. And that coat hanging with the golden um bells 2:08 and golden pomegranates. With all these arrangements the high priest with the fear and trembling could go into the presence of God once in a year. But the Lord Jesus Christ has changed. 2:25 And he gave us a privilege with his righteousness and with his salvation in the precious and pure blood of Jesus Christ we have many, many opportunities to go into the presence of God. That being said, I'll invite you. Let's all 2:44 pray and uh ask the Lord to speak to us, open our understanding. Um may the Lord use me to share his word uh for his glory with his church. Our dear heavenly Father 3:04 thank you so much for this wonderful plan you had before even I was born that uh your son has to come and pay the penalty for my sins. And in his blood 3:24 pure blood and precious blood I have a salvation. And and his righteousness I can approach you the throne of grace. Lord as we approach for your word open our understanding. Speak to our hearts. In Jesus' name we pray. 3:42 Amen. John chapter 10 and verse 10. John chapter 10 verse 10. 4:00 Jesus said, These are the Jesus words. He said to the people that I have come I last but 4:21 I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. Before that we read the contrast. The thieves thieves comes only to steal and kill and destroy, but I came 4:40 Jesus said, I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. So, that's what the Lord laid it on my heart. The abundant life. Abundant life in doing God's will. This morning 5:03 I would like to share um in Jesus and his disciples uh how God helped God helped them to enjoy this abundant life in doing God's will, his will. When we think about with a human mind 5:21 and human perspective and understanding uh what do we remember when we remember about the word of abundance? Abundance in entertainment. Abundance food. And abundance wealth. I may have an abundant time. Oh, time is running short. I don't have enough time 5:40 to do all this to cover all the video repository available in this platforms like Netflix and YouTube and all that, right? So, we don't have a time. But, that's not the abundance we're talking about here. The true abundance 6:00 the kind of life Jesus promised doesn't come from chasing the success in this world or accumulating the wealth in this world. The abundant life Jesus talking here John chapter 10 and verse 10 6:18 is doing and knowing God's will and knowing and doing God's will. That true inward joy that comes from this one simple truth that knowing God's will and doing God's will. That's where I just want to ponder this 6:37 morning along with you. Uh John chapter 4 we read the testimony here of our Lord and our hero, our savior, Jesus Christ. Our example, our forerunner. John chapter 4 verse 34. Jesus said to them, 7:00 "My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work." Focused. Laser focused. And his loving disciples were asking him. 7:19 And they went out to the city and they brought food for him. They walked a long distance. And they were asking him verse 30, uh "Come and eat." Verse 31, meanwhile, the disciples were urging him. They were urging him. 7:37 "Rabbi, eat." But, he said to them, "I have food to eat that you do not know about." So, the disciples were saying to one another, "Uh who brought the food for him?" Right? No one brought him anything to eat, did he? 7:56 Then Jesus said to his disciples, "My food My food is to do the will of my father who sent me." John chapter 5 the next chapter verse 30. John chapter 5 verse 30. 8:22 "I can do nothing on my own initiative. As I hear, I judge. And my judgment is just. How? Because I do not seek my own will, but the will of him who sent me." He was so determined that 8:45 "I'm not doing my own will." And we all know that by hearing in T C F C that he was completely he came as a man. He has the same flesh uh when he was living like you and I have. He has his own mind. 9:05 And how you and I have the the battlefield in our mind what to do. Do our own will or do the will of our father? Contemplate. I'm sure he had it, too. But he was determined. 9:24 "I'm not doing my own will. I'm doing the will of my father who sent me." Next chapter John chapter 6 verse 38. John chapter 6 verse 38. 9:46 We heard it from our brothers asking that one word of autobiography of Jesus Christ our Lord. His autobiography is here. John chapter 6 verse 38. I have come down from heaven 10:05 not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. John chapter 8. Verse 29. 10:24 John chapter 8 verse 29. He who sent me is with me. He has not left me alone. For I always do the things that are pleasing to him. 10:43 In my Bible note here I wrote on April 22nd 2022 this was the promise the Lord has given to me and my wife when we prayed about Austin moving. And the Lord indeed after 4 years now I can clearly see but we believed 11:01 when he gave us this promise that we had to go through many difficulties. Many of you know that. But still the one who promised that's he's with us. So Matthew chapter 26. 11:22 Matthew chapter 26 verse 39. Matthew chapter 26 verse 39. Jesus, here we see in the garden of 11:42 Gethsemane, he takes his disciples and yeah, you can read it later. Verse 36. He said to some of them, "Hey guys, you sit here while I go over there and pray." Okay, he 12:01 and verse 30 37. He took few of them, Peter and two sons of Zebedee. You see that? Verse 36, all the disciples were sitting there. From there he took three out three of them, Peter and sons of Zebedee. 12:20 And he began to be grieved and distressed. And then he said to those three people, "Guys, my soul is deeply grieved to the point of death. You remain here and keep 12:37 watch with me." He's asking. You stay here and pray with me in spirit. And this is the verse I want to emphasize, verse 39. And then he went a little beyond and fell on his face 12:57 and prayed saying, "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me. Yet not I will, but as you will." You see that? He was 13:17 deeply agonized and praying and asking in the Lord because his flesh was pulling him and saying it, "Somehow let this cup pass from you. You know that. We are We read it. He knew even when he was with the Father that he has a a great mission to 13:36 accomplish. He knew it this 30 plus 33 years 33 years of walking on this earth. He knew why he came. But still, you know, this is one thing brothers and sisters after we born again or even after we filled with the Holy Spirit, 13:55 John chapter 1 verse 7 says that 1 John chapter 1 verse 7, I'm sorry. If we walk in Okay, I'll just take it there. If you walk in the light, we will have fellowship with Father. 1 John chapter 1 14:15 verse 7. If we walk in the light as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another. With whom we have first fellowship? Fellowship with God first. 14:33 And then, we are walking together in the light. The Lord, the Holy Spirit, and we while we are walking in this path on this narrow path, and we will have fellowship with the 14:49 people who are in this path. Do you believe that? And while we are doing it, while we are walking still, you know that the flesh is still there. And 15:09 the spots, the blemishes, the thought life, or whatever sin we commit, what's going to happen? The blood of Jesus, his son, cleanses us from all sin. So, here we read a little bit about walking in the 15:29 light. What we need to understand, number one, even after born again, even after receiving the Holy Spirit, baptism in the Holy Spirit, we should acknowledge that we still possess the old nature. And number two, 15:49 we need forgiveness. Forgiveness from our own sins. Every day we repent. We Before going to bed, we check. Keep our accounts with God short. 16:08 The blood of Christ, the divine provision for both both number one and number two, for our old nature, for our sins, has a solution. To walk in the light 16:25 is to live in fellowship with the Father and Son. But sin interrupts fellowship, but cannot change the relationship. But the confession, when you are keeping our accounts short, when you are being faithful in 16:45 repenting, it restores. You know that sin breaks fellowship, but the confession restores that fellowship, and an immediate confession 17:00 keeps that fellowship unbroken. Amen. May the Lord help us to be faithful in confessing our sin immediately, so that we may have that unbroken fellowship 17:18 with him and brothers and sisters who are walking in this path in this narrow path. So, today I want to share with you why aligning our lives aligning our own will as we did Jesus 17:35 himself was praying with agony with tears. The sweat became It's like it's a blood. And he is calling not by himself. He took his disciples with him to the Garden of Gethsemane to pray with him. And from that group, three more trusted 17:54 people, closely connected people, he took them further more and then he went much more further from them and then he was praying that Lord, not my will, but let your will be done. God's will in this pathway of 18:16 the most abundant life, the joyful life, joyful that we are doing the will of God, peace that we are in the will of God even the turmoils, even the troubles. It's not easy. The problem we as we know that it is not the cross he was praying about it. It is 18:36 the unbroke not is he does he was so enjoying and he was delighted in fellowship with the Father. He doesn't want even that three hours on the cross because of your sin and my sin he was carrying on the cross. He doesn't 18:52 want that fellowship to be broken. That's what the cup he is praying for. Even though he know that he came for that very purpose. Can we take that seriously brothers and sisters? The fellowship with the Lord. Unbroken fellowship with the Lord. 19:16 >> The purposeful life we could live. The life we can enjoy, the life we can rejoice 24/7 in the Lord saying, I will rejoice again. Philippians 4:4, I rejoice in the Lord. Again, I say I will rejoice in the Lord. 19:35 So, three things I would like to point as the Lord permits me time. Privilege. The privilege of knowing the Lord. And the privilege of knowing God's will. Second, the conditions to knowing to God's will. And the proof or the evidence that we 19:52 are walking in the will of God. It's a great privilege. Can you imagine like, you know, the you we many of us know that the richest man in the world right now, Mr. Musk, takes one of us saying that, 20:11 "And I will I will coach you how I figured it out, how stock market works, how space um works. I ready I studied about that. I studied about how 20:29 uh autonomous cars works. I have plenty of data with me from all these Tesla cars running all you know, come on. I will coach you." How many of you sign up? That's a question you really need to answer. So, Jesus was telling that, 20:49 "Come and be my disciples. I will teach you." Let me start being establishing something crucial. Ephesians chapter 5 verse 17. Ephesians chapter 5 verse 17. >> Here we see 21:22 Some of the words may be hurtful, but it is the truth. Take the truth. So, Ephesians chapter 5 verse 17, do not be foolish, but understand 21:41 what the will of the Lord is. So, brothers and sisters, those who do not understand God's will, what of the Lord calls them as fools. It's not my judgement. 21:58 It's the word of God. Knowing God's will is our highest privilege as believers. When we understand God's will, several incredible things can happen. I would like to share four of them. 22:17 The one number one is the life of Jesus will be revealed to us. The entire life of Christ was lived in perfect obedience to God's will. So, when we also commit to doing God's will, we are literally 22:36 living like Jesus. And second thing, Jesus, the Holy Spirit will unlock, you know, unlock the understanding, spiritual our our spiritual understanding will be 22:53 unlocked. So, spiritual understanding comes through obedience. Whatever the will he has shown our life that simple thing, you can't tell a lie. Obey. Children, obey your parents. 23:12 That's the will of God. When we are start doing these things which he has already given us an understanding, he will reveal, he will unlock deeper uh are like, you know, 23:31 um one-on-one counseling starts with you. Not the word of God, but also in the areas where things are not black and white, in that area, Holy Spirit will shed the light for you. Third, our prayer life 23:50 become powerful. It won't be dry anymore. It's a communion with your our Lord it becomes more powerful and more fruitful. When we genuinely, like our Lord Jesus Christ has prayed, when we pray that not my will, 24:08 not flippantly using that word, after we plan everything and then say not my will, let your will be done. Instead of doing that, we genuinely seek uh the alignment of our will matching with our Father's will. 24:27 Right? Finally, we experience God's love in deeper way. Jesus said, "Whoever Whoever does the will of my Father who is in heaven is my brother and my sister and 24:47 my mother." We read it from Mark in our um memory verse, but this is from Matthew chapter 12 verse 50. "Whoever does the will of my father who is in heaven is my brother, my sister, and my mother. 25:06 So, that's what the pure blood we are talking about, the blood of Jesus Christ. You and I have a privilege to be called as brother of Jesus, sister of Jesus. What says you are associating with? Oh, I'm so-and-so's relative. I'm 25:22 so-and-so's uh my blood is so-and-so. In eternity, it doesn't matter. In eternity, are you are you the blood relative of Jesus Christ or not? So, what blocks us from doing God's will? 25:42 Many of us struggle with finding God's will. The truth is we often treat God's will casually without really meaning it. We are too busy in making our own plans 25:58 than asking God to rubber stamp them. So, we are too confident in our own understanding. Or we are too attached to our own desires. Sometimes, we don't even pray that is this your will of God? What if if the Lord says it's not your will? Should I 26:16 should I travel to this place? I already booked my tickets. My vacation is planned. Oh, suddenly I realized I didn't ask God's will. If I ask, what if the Lord says don't go? I had to cancel. Do they return the refund will do the happen or not? 26:31 So, let me not ask at this time. So, the abundant life is for those who are willing to say, "Lord, I don't know the way. Teach me." This is why we go and pray. 26:51 I know 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says that pray pray 24 hours in a day without ceasing. But I also realized that we must have uh a practice uh a disciplined practice 27:15 knowing that there are many things to accomplish when we wake up in the morning things will flood in, the calendar uh and the reminders uh WhatsApp messages 27:32 uh emails but do we have a habit of holding them aside and then spend some time especially uh highly recommend taking a morning time before you go and attempt any of these things. 27:51 Uh go and spend some time with the Lord. Um one of the sisters Friday during the prophecy time 28:11 shared something from 1 Kings that blessed me in this context. Please turn with me 1 Kings chapter 18. 1 Kings chapter 18 28:30 uh the last few verses. The last few verses. So, context there was a great famine. The man of God, Elijah, prays. 3 years there was no rain. 28:48 And again, the man of God prays. That was the uh verse 40. Um 40 uh after killing um Jezebel's prophets. Uh verse 41, Eli- Elijah said to Ahab, "Go up, 29:07 eat and drink, for there is the sound of the roar of heavy shower." So, he prays after 3 years and God tells him that rain is coming. So, he said to the king, Ahab, "Eat, man. Eat and drink." And he does that and then verse 42, 29:31 "While he was doing it, Elijah, I want to read that verse in New Living Translation. So, Ahab went to eat and drink, but Elijah climbed to the top of Mount Carmel 29:50 and bowed low to the ground and prayed with his face between his knees." He tells to the king, "Fix your chariot and then go as a reel." But, the man of God went to pray. 30:15 It came verse 25, "In a little while, the sky grew black and with clouds and wind and there was a heavy shower. And Ahab rode and went to Jezreel. 30:34 Then the hand of the Lord was on Elijah and he girded up his loins and outran outran Ahab to Jezreel. That was encouraged me so much. Ahab in his chariot 30:53 before way before him the prophet of God while he was praying, he took his chariot and ran to Jezreel. But man of God went to pray spent time with the Lord and then he came back he fixes his 31:10 clothes and then he outran. That's the word encouraged me. When you go and fight your battle and when you go and spend your time with the Lord in the morning the Lord will give you supernatural power, supernatural strength to knock down every giant which 31:30 is going to come on your way throughout the day. Amen. So some of the conditions what we discussed, right? Uh about knowing God's will. We willing willingness to learn, willingness to learn. 31:47 We read it, teach me Lord, teach me your will. Psalms chapter 143 verse 10. So in early stage of uh my walk with the Lord, I was not even born again at the time. Uh 2002 September my father passed away. As an older son 32:07 in the home, I had to make few decisions. By the time we were attending church a small family home based church in my home and uh there was a uh famine like here. Uh you can check the history. Um 2003 2002 2004 32:27 uh there was no rain in the area where we lived. We are mostly uh the income comes from farming. If there was no rain, no crops, no income. So, we prayed about it and my brother and me agreed to bring 32:44 one earth mover and dig a big hole. Um and now we need to figure out how to lift the water from that well to water our fields. So, the Lord um 33:04 gave us an idea to go to my uncle's home, my my mom's older brother. Um he lives in a different place. Uh on the way I had to go by train and then after getting down from a train station, I had to get into an auto rickshaw to go to my 33:21 uncle's home. So, I had I was holding a book called Gulshan-e-Esther at the time to to read in train my free time. So, the auto driver saw me um uh holding a book. He came to know that I am a Christian. He said, "Where are 33:40 you going?" I said, "I'm going to my uncle's home to buy a electric motor motor pump set." He said, "Did you Did you find God's will?" I said, "No. We prayed about it." "No, you have to ask God's will." Um brother, I don't know all these 33:59 things. We are new. And he said, "Okay, I'm just putting a a simple test. While you are going to after getting down my auto, while you are going to your uncle's home, if your uncle is at home, not in the farm, and that's the God's will that you 34:15 should buy the motor set. If your uncle is is already in the fields, consider it as that it's not God's will." I said, "Okay, can you please pray for me?" And then auto driver prayed for me and and lo and behold, when I went to my 34:31 uncle's home, he was there. So, we bought a motor. So, that's how I started learning and asking even the simple small things finding God's will. And I never regretted all these 20 years, 20 plus years of walking with the Lord. Knowing 34:46 in small things at least a peace in my heart that I don't know exactly in this practical matter like a switching the jobs, buying the home uprooting ourselves from California to here or before that moving from Hyderabad to Bombay, Bombay 35:04 to San Francisco. All these things I learned a habit of asking the Lord and with a peace that I asked my dad I'm not 100% sure to be frank with you. Many of these decisions I'm not 100% sure that, but there is a confidence in 35:19 that I asked my dad, so he will take care of the things. So, yeah. That habit of asking the Lord to teach us teach us to do His will. Psalms 143:10 And second thing is like you know, 35:41 willingness to die. Willingness to die to our own will. Matthew chapter 26:39 Matthew chapter 26:39 Yeah. 36:03 That's the same thing what we read about Jesus going alone and praying not as I will, but as you will, Lord. So, this is the hardest condition to 36:22 most of us. We come to God with our minds already made up. Instead, we need to say, "Lord, help me even to planning stage. I may hear your 36:40 peace. I may settle my heart not to do my own will, but your will." Next is like, you know, delight. Delight in doing God's will. Psalms chapter 40 verse 8. 36:56 I delight to do your will, oh my God. Your law is written in my heart. God doesn't want reluctant obedience. He wants joyful obedience. When Paul was called to go to a 37:16 difficult place, he obeyed willingly and immediately. I want to read that um from Acts. Acts chapter 21. Jesus um sorry, 37:35 Agabus, sorry. Acts chapter 21 verse 10 to 14. A disciple there prophesied Paul would be bound in Jerusalem. And along with him other disciples 37:53 there, they were begging Paul not to go. And he Paul says, "Why are you weeping? Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the 38:12 name of the Lord Jesus." For the God's name's sake, for God's word's sake, I am not only to be bound, I'm willing to die. That's was one of the disciples. If you read his history, 38:31 first time we see him in Acts chapter 7. Acts chapter 7. There was another disciple, Stephen. Stephen was martyred 38:48 for telling the truth. Last few verses, Acts chapter 7. He says, uh Why are you 39:06 I'm sorry, yeah, last few verses, Acts chapter 7. Um verse 58. When they had driven him out of the city, they began stoning him, and the witnesses laid aside their robes 39:23 at the feet of a young man named Saul. See that? He was in the party of the people who are killing the disciples. He didn't stop there. While he was going to the city of Damascus to catch uh the disciples and kill them, the Lord 39:41 visited him. And then Saul became Paul. And he tells before he leaves, lastly, I would like to add this. Before he leaves, Paul um tells to one of his disciples, 40:00 he whom he bel- uh lovingly calls him as his own son. Biologically, he was not his own his son. Timothy was not the son of uh Paul, but he treats him as a son that 40:19 um that heart, the love the Lord has laid in Paul's heart to encourage this young brother. Uh uh a spiritual fatherhood was missing because his own dad was a um 40:38 not a disciple of the Lord. He was Greek um businessman, but Paul took that role and tells him, "My son, fight. Fight the good fight." And the last letter, 2 Timothy, chapter 4, 40:59 verse 7, he says, "I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith." That's where he could boldly say that, "My son, Timothy, 41:17 pay close attention to your life. Your life first. Have a good conscience. Fight the good fight of faith. And then, your teaching." May the Lord help us, brothers and sisters, to grow 41:37 to the level of of being spiritual fathers. I want to remind on this Father's Day that it is a wonderful calling 41:53 to be in that bloodline of Jesus Christ. And um to do his will from um from the bottom of our heart. Willingness to do um 42:11 to deny our own will and to complete at the end we could say like Jesus said and Stephen said and Paul said and Timothy we know his life and we all could say that to our own family members 42:30 to our brothers and sisters that I have fought the good fight. I have accomplished the crown the Lord has set for me. Um, may the Lord bless these words. Amen. Yeah. 43:03 Thank you, brother David for taking us through the scriptures which are very important reminders. On the subject of finding God's will and the way Jesus walked I think David showed so many verses. 43:20 Jesus came to we we say right, why did Jesus die for us on the cross? We say because he loved us. That's true. But he came and died for us on the cross because he wanted to do Father's will. He did that because it was Father's 43:36 will. I always was amazed by the way I think I heard this it's not my revelation it's I heard this and I looked at it yes, that's true. Jesus loved the Father so much he wanted to do nothing but God's will. May that be true in our lives, too. 43:54 How to find God's will in my life, Lord? And we we have so many decisions to make in our lives. We all know. But some of the things we may not know what is the the what is God's will or not, but there are few things we are 100% cleared. Scripture is 100% 44:11 clear about it. I want to just show few things. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 1 Thessalonians 5:18 It says, "In everything give thanks 44:29 for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." In everything. Everything means everything. Give thanks. So, is that true in my life? We can all ask question. Like, am I giving thanks when I something good happens? I get a 44:47 better job, promotion, uh you know, my immigration status is moving, or you know, I I my stocks are make like growing going going up, or something of material blessing, or even in the spiritual realm. Or is God using me, or you know, is it 45:05 like I'm giving thanks because something good, something um a blessing I'm enjoying, is that the reason I give thanks to God? But here it says, the previous verse, "Pray without ceasing, and in everything give thanks." Uh do we believe that Romans 8:28 is 45:22 true for all those who love God? In that case, we give thanks. So, we can fight against this grumbling and complaining spirit, and say, "Lord, my this is your will. It's so clear. I must be thankful in all situations." And if 45:38 we are honest, we know deep in our hearts are we at that unrest about something that God is doing, and we are fighting against this circumstance. God has We know God has allowed this allowed this trial in in my life. Instead of complaining and grumbling, 45:53 can we seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit, and say, "Lord, I want to be thankful in everything in everything, because it is your will for me in Christ Jesus. He is going to make all things work together for my good so I can be thankful in all 46:09 situations. And I think some someone in the memory verse we were asking, "How do I know what other person whether they are doing the will of God or not?" Because I want to fellowship. Uh they are my brother, sister, and father. My I mean 46:24 these are the people whom I want to fellowship with. This is one test. Like if I need to be thankful, I need to see who are thankful in every situation. They are the people who are doing the will of God. And the second one is 1 Peter 46:41 4:2. 1 Peter 4:2, so as to live the rest of the time in the so as to live the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for the lusts of men, but for the will of God. 47:00 For the time already passed in suffi- is sufficient for you to have carried out the desires of the Gentiles. And he talks about a lot of sins. Uh sensuality, lust, drunkenness, carousing, drinking parties, abominable abominable idolatries. 47:16 So, Paul is Peter is writing here "We have done enough. We in our past life we have wasted away our lives like the way we lived like Gentiles, desires of Gentiles, but now no longer live for the lusts of men, but for the will of God." Again, we know 47:34 my flesh is wants to do a lot of things. Uh want to please myself, please my senses. I want to deny and to do the will of God. Rest of my time. We only I mean we all have to acknowledge our time on this earth is limited. We don't have infinite amount 47:50 of time. We wasted, say, 30% 40% of our life already. For the remaining time I need to run faster like Paul did. Paul was going in different directions, but once he met Jesus, he was running so fast. Likewise, help May the Lord help 48:06 us to no longer live for the less of less of men, but for the will of God. And how do I know the will of God? Again, reading the word of God. I want to challenge all of us, my brothers and sisters, do we prioritize reading the word of God in your life? 48:24 Is Uh uh somewhere I heard, are you really spending more time in Facebook than God's book? Just take that as an example. Or are we spending something is replacing or something is taking over. What is your Like, if you have a free 48:37 moment, what do you do? I know there's a place for entertainment and there's a place for relaxing, but do we have a strong desire whenever we have some time, Lord, I want to meditate on your word. I want to look at your 48:51 life, how Jesus lived, how Jesus accomplished the will of the Father. That will change us. That will help us to find God's will in every area. And uh one more verse I want to show is Romans 12:2. Romans 12:2, it says, "Do not be 49:09 conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, which is good and acceptable and perfect." When we are constantly being shaped by the world world philosophies in the 49:24 world, we will be conformed to the world. We also want to be like constantly adapt the world. But the word transformed means actually metamorphosis, which is complete, like like the life of a butterfly. We are We need to be 49:40 transformed not by the not no longer to the conform to the world, but constantly renewing our mind with the word of God, so that I can know and I prove that in my life to others that the will of God is good, acceptable, and perfect. And we can 49:56 meditate on the life of Jesus as he reveals. So, please let us prioritize studying the scriptures deeply. I know there are some denominations I was part of in the past. I have seen every member, even child and adult and old 50:11 people, they're so proficient in the word of God. Maybe there's some other things, some other doctrines I did not agree with or some some of the things I did not want to follow, but I have to give that credit. They were so 50:24 good in the word of God. And I I want all of us in this church. You want to grow in the Lord, prioritize studying, meditating on the word of God, which is very, very important. Otherwise, we will be uh become prime targets for deceiving means 50:40 as I said like we cannot we don't we cannot afford to waste any more of our time. We have lived enough life like that doing our own things, but now God has given us a light. I want to do only the Lord's will. And when at least in these areas that I 50:56 showed or maybe more, we are doing God's will. We are doing our best to do God's will. In the areas where it is not very clear, do I need to go to this place? Do I need to take up this job? Should I do this? Should I do 51:08 that? Should I go to this place for vacation? On all those areas, God will help us. You know, the peace of God will rule us even and we we can make that step. Lord, I don't exactly this is the right thing, but I'm going to make this 51:22 step, and the Lord is so gracious, so merciful. He will close the doors, open the doors, and he'll keep us in the center of his will. That's my experience. I I don't have to figure out every single thing, but in the areas 51:33 that God has already revealed, being thankful. I want to be thankful, Lord. I want to deny my flesh. I want to constantly be renewed in the in the word of God, and I want to seek to do your will. Matthew 5 6 7, I know what your will is. I want to see I want 51:49 to build my house on the foundation of God's word, seeking to obey everything you're teaching. In the areas which is not clear, God will help me. God will make sure that I'm the center of it. It is his responsibility. And just like as 52:05 a good father, I will not let my child who is so taken up to do everything that that is pleasing to me, I'll make sure that he is on the right path. I'll check on him. I'll keep an eye on him. I'll make sure that that is my heavenly 52:18 father. So, let us at least in the areas that we know, let's take this example. If you have something grudge against someone, forgiving someone, do you know do you need to know what is God's will for me? Is this God's will for me to forgive? 52:32 You know it. It is God's will. Forgive others just as Christ God and Christ Jesus has forgiven you. Why are we waiting for years and years not to forgive and holding on to the grudges? Obey that. And God in the areas where it is not 52:47 very clear, God will help you to keep you in the center of God's will. Um Yeah, let's um remember that these are wonderful truths we heard today. Um the Lord has reminded us today. Let us meditate on them. And speaking of the 53:05 Father's Day also, I was thinking of how such a loving heavenly father we have. And one of the commandment is I always think about is this a scriptural Mother's Day Father's Day? We have the very first commandment about of the 53:20 first four commandments related to God. Uh in the 10 commandments I mean, the first one is honor your mother and father. Let us Yeah, this is in the world it is recognized as Father's Day. Let's also remind us that we have a heavenly father 53:34 who loves us so much. The best of the best heavenly physical fathers we we uh come like compared to our heavenly father is still evil, right? You know, we want to do our best to our children. How much more how much more my heavenly 53:50 father will do for each one of us. So, let's remind ourselves of our heavenly father. Let us also as we have opportunity to thank our earthly fathers our father like figures who invested their time. Some of the things they do are very secret. 54:08 Uh they carry a lot of load and I I I was thinking in the heart. Like I I I was thinking in the morning we hear a lot about Mary mother of Jesus but not much about Joseph. But Joseph would have done a lot of things taking 54:21 care of baby Jesus listening to God's you know even angel spoke. Uh he just followed the instructions. A lot of things Joseph has done but I mean in the remaining parts of the year we don't hear much about him. But but I 54:35 mean in the heaven we it will be revealed to us but Joseph was a who took care of Jesus when he was young maybe later on he passed away. But uh the point I'm making is many things our fathers do maybe secret. Um so, let's thank them in this day and 54:52 honor them. So, I also want to pray for all our fathers in the church too that we will become more and more like our heavenly father um in being merciful in being patient uh to others and also um in in representing him to our own children 55:12 our heavenly father's characteristics. Let's pray. Thank you heavenly father for giving us such a precious word Lord today and uh and you have revealed about your own life the life of Jesus Christ. 55:32 You came to do the will of the father. Whenever there is a conflict between your will and the will of the Father, you always chose to do the will of the Father. Thank you Thank you, Lord Jesus, for showing us this way in which we want to follow in your 55:48 footsteps. Lord, to be thankful in all situations, not to please our flesh anymore, but to do to do everything to do the will of the Father. To please you, Lord, and to know you more, and to do your will alone. We have limited time on this earth. Help 56:05 us to be careful in knowing your will and to doing your will, not by our own strength, but by the power of the Holy Spirit. Help us, Lord, to do our part in studying your word and seeking for revelation and understanding your life 56:21 and knowing your will. And in the areas where we do not know the clearly, Lord, keep us in the center of your will. Make everything work together for our good according to the promise in Romans 8:28 in each one of our lives as we seek to 56:35 love you, Lord. Thank you, Jesus, for all the fathers you have given to us in our church and father-like figures who pour out and invest in our lives. Lord, many things you know there are sacrifices which are done in secret. 56:50 Reward them richly, bless them today and every day, Lord, and help us to honor our parents are especially Lord, those Lord, especially fathers today that you bless them, strengthen them, guide them, and lead them, give them wisdom, fill 57:06 them with your Holy Spirit and use them mightily, Lord, as leaders in the homes. Thank you, Father, for every single father in this church. Bless us as we break for fellowship. Be with us in every conversation, be with us in 57:21 everything we say and do. Help us to please you and to do your will. We ask all these things in the mighty name of our Lord and our Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
