Do not compare yourself with othersComparing yourself to others leads to pride or discouragement; instead, recognize that God made you uniquely and wonderfully.

The second lesson: Learn humility by comparing yourself to JesusTo overcome pride, do not compare yourself to peers, but always look at Jesus, who is infinitely greater than you in every way.

The three steps of Christ's humilityFollowing the pattern in Philippians 2, we see Christ's descent from God to man, to slave, and finally to a criminal on the cross as the ultimate model of humility.
