0:07 This morning I'd like to share on uh a verse found in Luke chapter 2. You can turn with me to Luke chapter 2. Verse 14. 0:31 Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace among men with whom he is pleased. When Jesus was sent to this earth there is a message that the angels proclaimed. 0:51 The first message was in verse 9. Luke chapter 2 verse 9 it says an angel of the Lord suddenly stood before them and the glory of the Lord shone around them and they were terribly frightened but they but the angel said to them do 1:06 not be afraid. For behold I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all people. For today in the city of David there has been born for you a savior who is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign for you. You will find the baby wrapped in a in 1:24 clothes lying in a manger. And so the angel came and told them do not be afraid. I have good news for you. There is a savior that's going to be born. But then after that there's a whole cloud verse 13 the angel along with the angel a 1:43 multitude of heavenly host praising God saying glory to God in the highest. And on earth peace among men with whom he's pleased. And when I hear that message that the angels proclaimed I think if he was speaking of the angels who had 2:02 not sinned who had not made a mistake who did everything according to what the father told them to do I can see that God could proclaim I'm pleased with the angels. Glory to God in the highest and I'm pleased with all you angels. You've 2:18 obeyed me in every single thing. Or else I could hear also hear that message where he says glory to God in the highest and I am pleased with my son Jesus who I'm sent. But this wonderful message is 2:37 glory to God in the highest and peace among men with whom I am pleased. And that's the good news for me that among men like you and me God can be pleased with us. There is something of redeeming quality 2:55 that he saw in us that he would come down for us. And for me that's a blessed for me I have much joy to hear that good news that there's something that God saw in me. I don't know what he saw in me 3:15 to suffer such great agony. I wanted to ask this question and I want each one of you to think for yourself. You don't have to answer out loud but think for yourself. And be honest with yourself. How do you 3:34 think God sees you? Today think about it. Close your eyes and think about how God sees you today. Does God see you as a failure one who has made a mistake over and over again in his past? Nothing good come out of my life every time just 3:51 failure after failure. Is that what God's looking at you when he sees you? Is that how you feel that God sees you? Disappointment. I invested so much in this person and I'm disappointed in you. Is that the thought that you have that 4:09 God's looking at you as? Not good enough. I jumped 3 ft and good is 4 ft and then I try to jump 4 ft and good happens to be 5 ft. I'm never good enough. Always something less. 4:28 Is that how do you think God's looking at you today? There's good news. So the glad tidings that the angel proclaimed was towards God and there's good news towards men. 4:45 I think that initially Jesus God sent the one angel to tell them good news and then he said I need to send a host of heavenly host to proclaim this. With whom God is pleased. Men with whom God is pleased. I need to send not one 5:02 angel but a multitude of host because I need to let this sink deep inside. And I think that Jesus as he used to go and speak with others he had to emphasize this thing. Man I I did not come to condemn men. I 5:20 did not come to condemn men. Turn with me to John 3. Verse 17. And Jesus had to tell Nicodemus Nicodemus the purpose I came is not to condemn men. You might feel that it is when I when I 5:41 came into this world it is to judge the world or condemn the world but Nicodemus I have to tell you this. That's not the reason I came. The reason I came for says in verse 17 John 3:17 for God did not send the son into the world to judge or condemn the 5:58 world but that the world might be saved through it. Then he tells the disciples John John and James and Luke you can turn with me there to Luke chapter 9. Luke chapter 9 verse 56. For the son of 6:19 man did not come to destroy men's lives but to save them. God did not send his son to destroy men's lives but to save them. Again in Luke chapter 19 6:36 he tells Zacchaeus after he says salvation has come to this house verse 10 Luke 19:10. For the son of man has come to seek and save that which was lost. God came for that that wandering sheep. 6:57 He came for the lost son. He came to seek and save that which was lost. Constantly that message Jesus had to reinforce reinforce. I've come not to condemn you not to destroy you your lives but to save it. And as I was thinking about men with 7:20 whom God was pleased God has given us in the scripture one person. He says my my life is an example of how God could use a person who the devil had put havoc in my life and destroyed my life. 7:37 I failed miserably and God is using in 1 Timothy it says that using me as an example so that you may have hope that just like me God has a purpose in your life to take which 7:54 I love that song. Heartaches broken pieces ruined lives is why he came and died on Calvary. My life was ruined. Full of heartaches and broken pieces and God came 8:12 for me to take those pieces. And I see in Saul's life I see that example in Saul's life. And I wanted to see how much he had failed to see how far God could reach down and help this apostle to be the man he was. And I want to talk about this man's 8:36 haunting past Saul's haunting past. He knew the scriptures. He knew the scriptures. He had been sitting under the feet of Gamaliel. He knew uh the God of the Bible. But when he saw the Christians it says he persecuted the way or 8:55 persecuted these Christians unto death. He was there when Paul Stephen was being martyred and it says he hardly was in agreement not just in agreement but he was hardly in agreement with the stoning of Stephen. As the 9:15 people around Stephen were gnashing their teeth he too was there gnashing his teeth. And he wanted to persecute and once you fall into a sin it's like it just gets deeper and deeper. 9:32 Oh I I I stoned Stephen. I was I was in agreement with stoning Stephen. Now I'm going to take it a step further. I'm going to find anyone else going this way and bringing them into prison. And so he would it says there it says in 9:50 Acts 26 you can turn with me to Acts 26. Paul's testimony is found in different passages in Acts 22, Acts 20 26, Galatians 1, different places. There's parts of it, his testimony. But turn with me to Acts 26. Verse 9, we can read. Acts 26 verse 9. 10:14 So then I thought to myself that I had to do many things hostile to the name of Jesus of Nazareth. And this is just what I did in Jerusalem. Not only did I lock up many of the saints in prisons. And it says it here in verse 10:31 11. Read with me. And as I punished them, it says in one place he beat them often in the synagogues. I tried to force them to blaspheme. That means that these are believers and they're wholehearted believers. They want to live for Jesus. They're left 10:49 everything to follow him. And he's saying, "Deny this Jesus." And Jesus says, "If you deny me before people, I will deny you before my father in heaven." And he's asking them to deny Jesus and beating them and persecuting 11:02 them until they said, "We're no longer followers of Jesus." How evil. How evil a thing to ask them to blaspheme and beat them until they denied Christ. He would lock some of them in prison. He 11:21 would take them and put them in prison. I don't know how many families, how many children were left abandoned because Paul took it their parents and put them in prison. In a In a In a In a terrible jail cell with all the filth and smell and darkness, 11:40 isolation, not knowing how the rest of their family are doing. And then when they had a council to vote whether they should be kept alive or put to death, I don't know how many people were in the 11:59 councils. It could be 71 or 23. It usually was an odd number so that there would be a decision. Either yes, keep them alive, or put to them put them to death. And I think about how if there was 23 of them and 11 of them 12:17 voted yes, let them be alive, stay alive. And 11 said, "No, put them to death." And Paul had that deciding vote. And those family members looking at Paul saying, "Please have mercy on us. Please 12:36 do not put us to death. We have children back at home. Do not put us to death. We didn't do nothing wrong." And guess which vote he would pass. He would put the vote saying, "Put them to death." No mercy. Put them to death. 12:55 And I look at that and I say, "Lord, people who have been affected by Paul's life and Paul knowing that these people been affected by his life, life and death. How could a man who's done so much erase that? How could that ever be 13:14 erased? Temptations that he would And I I think of Paul. He He had a flesh just like us, tempted in same way, just as like had a past 13:31 just like each one of us has a past. I think back. Having flashbacks. One day he might be lying down in bed and seeing the eyes of those people, looking at the reaction when he voted to 13:48 put them to death. Their eyes. It would be very hard to remove those those those flashbacks from your mind. Seeing those people that you dragged into prison. Seeing those people that you caused them to blaspheme. How Paul How Paul did you 14:11 get a get get rid of those flashbacks throughout the end of your life seeing those faces, seeing the face of Stephen as he was being killed. How do you take that away? Self-condemnation. Tempted just like us to be self-condemning. 14:30 Why should I ever find favor in their eyes? You might remember Paul also was on trial before Agrippa, Felix, and Festus, and others. Why should As Paul is standing there asking, pleading his case, "Set me free." 14:49 In his mind flashing, "Paul, why do you need to be You were the one who condemned others to prison. Why should you be set free, Paul? Saul, why should you be set free?" In one place 15:12 he says, "I appeal to Caesar. I appeal to Caesar." And he must have wondered later. It It says here it Turn with me to Acts 25. Uh I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Acts 26. Acts 15:40 26. He had He had asked that he be um tried by Caesar. And then listen to this. Uh turn with me to Acts 26 verse 30. It says, "The king stood up and the governor and Bernice and those who were sitting with them. And when they had gone aside, they began 15:59 talking to one another saying, 'This man is not doing anything worthy of death or imprisonment.'" And Agrippa said to Festus, "This man might have been set free if he had not appealed to Caesar." Paul hearing this thing in the back of 16:16 his mind, he was probably thinking, "Why did I say that? Why did I appeal to Caesar? If I didn't, they would have just set me free." Again condemning himself, but at the same time he might say, "You know what? I deserved it." 16:29 The other ones who would plead to me for mercy, I did not give them mercy. Why should I get mercy? He could have lived with self-condemnation the rest of his life. "How can I share with the churches? How can I correct this church whose people 16:44 are living in sin? What would they say to me? Paul, who are you to tell me to correct me? You who persecuted many and made many children orphans because of what you did Who are you to tell us and correct us and discipline us? 17:01 Who are you, Paul?" How much of self-condemnation. But when I see the life of Paul, I do not see any of this. When you read this epistles, all the epistles he write, apart from the places where he's testifying 17:20 of his of his past. He doesn't write about his past. Why? Why do you not write about your past, about all the things that you've done? And even when he does testify, it's not in detail. It's high level. What Why? Turn with me to 1 Timothy. 17:44 1 Timothy. This is the place where he tells Timothy that God has used him as an example for others. 1 Timothy. Verse 12. I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, 18:05 who has strengthened me, because he considered me faithful, putting me into service. Even though I was formerly a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent aggressor, yet I was shown mercy. In some places it says I received mercy. 18:24 I found mercy. There was something of the mercy of God that he had found, that he had received, that he had was shown to him. Yet I was shown mercy because I acted ignorantly in unbelief. 18:41 And the grace of the Lord was more abundant with two things, with faith and love. Faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. Faith and love. A man who had failed so terribly, 19:04 having flashbacks of his past, having a temptation of self-condemnation. How could he live in triumph over all of this? We also say, "Yes, God has forgiven me. God has But why is my life not in triumph like Paul? 19:23 Why is there so much self-condemnation? Why is there flashbacks which I get bound by? What is different between the mercy that Paul received and the mercy that I received? The mercy he received made him victorious. And I considered that. What's different 19:41 between the faith he received and the faith I received? What's the difference between the love that he saw in Christ Jesus and the love that I experienced in Christ Jesus? In Peter it "This is the true grace of God." Why did he have to say this is the true 19:57 of grace of God? Because the true grace of God will make sure that sin doesn't master over me. There's other graces of God. If sin is ruling over your life, then you're under a different grace. And Peter is saying that's not the true 20:11 grace of God. There is a true grace of God, and I believe like that there's a true mercy of God as well. The true mercy of God will make us victorious. It will take away self-condemnation. It'll take away those thoughts, 20:32 flashbacks, and condemn us. On a birthday, when a child receives a gift, they don't have to do anything. They don't have to buy it. They don't have to do anything. All they need to do is 20:50 stretch out their hand and receive it. God has given mercy as a Paul Peter also says, "I rece- we received mercy." Paul, in 1 Corinthians, you can turn with me to 1 Corinthians 4. I'm sorry. 2 Corinthians 4. 2 21:10 Corinthians 4 verse 1. Therefore, since we have received this mercy ministry and we have received mercy, we do not lose heart. We're not discouraged. Why are you not discouraged, Paul? Because we received mercy. 21:29 The true mercy of God will keep me from discouragement. He came to his own. Turn with me to 1 I mean John chapter 1. John chapter 1 verse 11 and 12. Verse 11, it says first 21:47 I mean sorry, John chapter 1 verse 11. He came to his own, and those who were his own did not receive him. He came. And he came to his own first and said, "Here, I have much to offer you. 22:05 Take it. It's free." But they said, "No, we don't want to receive it." You might remember that marriage invitations that went out. All that they had to do was receive it. And they could be a part of it, but they rejected it. They said, "No. 22:19 I have other things that are more important." Then the king says, "Okay. Go find whoever is in interested. Bring them in. They may receive this invitation. The ones I sent it out, they did not receive it. So, all of these others, let them 22:34 come in and enjoy it." And like that, Jesus says verse 12, "But as many as received him, Jesus was available to everybody, but how many people received him? To as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become children of 22:53 God." I even see that with Paul. Paul said he received this mercy. Verse Turn with me to Mark chapter 12. Mark chap- I'm sorry. Mark chapter 11, sorry. Mark chapter 11 verse 24. Therefore, I say to you, "All 23:13 things for which you pray and ask, believe." So, you have to have faith. Have faith. Believe that you have received them. Don't stop with just believing it. Also, believe that you've received it. Don't believe that God's forgiveness is 23:30 available. Also, receive that forgiveness. Receive that mercy. Make it your own. I see that Paul received this. In Revelation 2, turn with me to Revelation 2. There's a beautiful word that he says to 23:49 the church at Pergamum. Revelation chapter 2 It talks before that it talks about people living There's some in in in in the church at Pergamum who were living immoral lives. Immorality and all of that sin was there. 24:08 And to this church, which had all this sin in the church, Jesus says to them, "He who has an ear." Verse 17. Revelation 2:17. "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes overcomes 24:27 in all this immorality, repents of this immorality, overcomes in this immor- uh over immorality, I will give him some hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone. I'll give him a brand new slate, a clean brand new slate. 24:44 And what's going to be written on? I will give him a new name written on that stone, which no one knows but he who receives it." For those who have ran from immorality, who received mercy, God wants to give a fresh slate, 25:03 a white stone with a new name. And I see that with Saul. "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?" God gave him a new name, Paul. And whenever Paul looked at his life at that from that time onwards, after God 25:22 um Jesus met with him. Yes, there was a man named Saul who lived in this body, who lived in sin, who persecuted the church beyond measure. But he's gone. He's no longer there. He's been crucified. "I've been crucified with Christ. That 25:39 Saul is no longer here. That old man called Saul, he's no longer here. I'm new man. My name is Paul. I received mercy. I'm a new man created in the image of Christ. When when this temptation or flashback 25:59 comes and he sees those he's persecuted, he thinks back and says, "You know what? That was a different man. A different man, an old man that's been crucified with Christ." He says that in Galatians. Turn with me to Galatians 2 26:16 verse 20. Galatians 2 Galatians 2:20. It says, "I have been crucified with Christ." 26:35 That old Saul has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I. It's not this Saul who lives, but Christ lives in me. I'm now Paul. And the life that I live now I live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God." And what was his 26:51 faith? "Who loved me and gave himself for me." He understood that God's love had taken away his past. He was a new person. He had received mercy. He was now Paul. 27:10 And for us, too, we must we must transition from death into life. From Saul to Paul. The old man must be crucified and buried. No longer do I live, but Christ lives in 27:27 me. I'm a new man. So, we talked about two things, faith and love that are found in Christ. I see the faith that Paul had was that God had taken away his past. He 27:46 was a new creation in Christ. But not only that, there was another aspect of it was there was a love in Christ. And I see that for many of us, when we think of we're not good enough, "I've not prayed enough. I've not done 28:00 this enough. I've not served enough. I've not done this enough." And sometimes the love that we experience from God is because the our the lack of love that we experienced from God is because we feel that we have not come to a place 28:14 we're good enough to receive his love. And I I see that as I was thinking of a person that I I saw an example in, I saw Lazarus. Turn with me to John 12. Now, Lazarus 28:41 I'm sorry. John 11. John 11, sorry. John 11. Now, Lazarus, even in the scriptures here, it it's almost like he was the brother of Martha and Mary. 29:00 You know, Lazarus, the brother of Martha and Mary, he didn't have a separate identity. His identity was found in his sisters because his sisters, everybody knew. It says here in verse 1. Now, a certain man man named was sick, Lazarus of Bethany, 29:17 the village of Mary and her sister Martha. It was the Mary who anointed, just in case you don't know which Mary it is that I'm talking about and which Lazarus I'm talking about. It's the Mary who anointed the Lord with ointment and 29:32 wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick. And then verse 3, it says, "The sister sent word to him saying, 'Lord, behold, the one whom you love is sick.'" But when Jesus heard this, 29:50 he said, "This sickness is not is not to end in death, but for the glory of God." And so, when I see this life the life of Lazarus, turn with me to John 12. John 12. It says in verse two, it says, "So, they 30:12 made a supper for supper there, and Martha was serving." I'm sorry. Um No, sorry. John chapter 11 verse 5. John chapter 11 30:31 verse 5. Now, Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. Jesus loved them. He loved this family in Bethany. It says he would go to Bethany and he'll he'll go and meet with them. And I was thinking, 30:49 "What Jesus What did you find in this family that you often went there? You It says you loved this brother and these two sisters. What did you find in them? What did Lazarus do that you had a love for him?" And if I were to ask Lazarus, "Lazarus, 31:07 what What did you do?" He would say, "My sisters, Martha would serve Jesus anytime that Jesus was there, she would serve. Mary would go and sit at his feet and listen. I just sit there quietly in there. But I saw something in Jesus. He'd come 31:26 and he'd be very interested in my life. He'd come and talk to me and I think he came to Bethany because everywhere else he went, there was people that would flock to him to get something out of him, some healing or some something out of him. 31:42 In Bethany here, there's nothing there. He'd come and just he'd spend time with us. And I saw that he wanted to be with me. He cared about me. He loved me. "Lazarus, what did you do to deserve this love?" I don't know. I I can't think of 31:58 anything. Whenever Jesus came, we opened our door. We let him come and spend time with us, and we spent time with him. We didn't look for anything else. And Jesus saw that, and every time he went to Bethany, he'd go to their home. 32:17 "But Lazarus, why did he love you? What did you do for Jesus?" And I can I can't think of anything I did. The only thing I think is my achievements was I I got sick and I died. I guess that's the only qualification I had was I knew how to die. 32:37 But that was not my story. My story was God could take a dying man and bring him to life. I was a dead man. Nobody cared for me, but Jesus loved me. Not because of anything else. I didn't do anything special for Jesus 32:54 that he should do this for me in return. I didn't do anything. He did everything for me. He loved me with a great love, and I believe for us to experience that love, we need to know that God's not looking for something some service or something for 33:14 him. Do I have a heart? And this is for each one of us, brother, sister, and child. Do you have a heart like Lazarus' house where you can invite Jesus and say, "Jesus, come. Stay with me. I don't have anything to offer. 33:29 Would you like to spend time with me? I want to spend time with you, Jesus. Would you like to spend time with me?" There's a beautiful verse in in Matthew 26. Matthew 26. Turn with me to Matthew 26. Jesus says 33:47 he loved Mary, Martha, and Lazarus. "Mary, what did you do?" You sat at Jesus' feet, but what What did you do? What service did you do? You broke that oil. You knew how to pour oil. 34:07 Costly perfume, you knew how to pour it. What talent does it need to take some ointment and pour it? Doesn't need much talent. "Mary, what did you do? What can you do?" Look, I'm sorry. Matthew 26. Matthew 26 34:26 verse 10. But Jesus, aware of this, when they were saying, "Hey, why is this wasted this perfume wasted?" But Jesus, aware of this, said to them, "Why do you bother this woman? Why do you Why do you Why do you bother her? 34:41 For she has done a good deed to me. For you will always have the poor with you, but you do not always have me." For when I am sorry. I think it's the parallel passage in 35:02 Mark, if I'm not mistaken. Yeah, sorry. Mark chapter 14. The same passage in Mark chapter 14 verse 8, continuing from what we read in Matthew 26. 35:21 Verse 8. What did she do? She has done what she could. She knew how to pour oil ointment. That's what she could. And that was enough. There's a place in Corinthians where it 35:41 says God's accepted it. It's not according to what you have, but what's what's your earnest desire. If you have a desire to give, but you don't have it, God's looking at your heart. And with with with her, yeah, she may 35:58 have not done something spectacular, but she did what she could. And for me, too, the Lord is not looking for me to do something spectacular. I'll tell you what can you do. Okay, you did it. Okay. I'm not going to earn God's 36:14 favor by doing something special for him. God is God can find pleasure in me by doing what I could. And it says, "Wherever the gospel goes." 36:32 Verse 9. "Wherever the gospel goes, it's not going to talk about miracles. It's not going to talk Wherever this gospel goes, it's going to talk about a woman who did what she could." Brothers and sisters, what can you do? I 36:46 can do this. Okay. Did you Can you do that? Good. That's all I'm expecting from you. And that's the message that's going to go. I want to ask, are you accepted in the beloved? 37:04 We heard about the life of Saul. We heard about the life of Lazarus. Men's lives were changed, discouraged, and beaten up. How are we receiving this? You might remember that man who uh 37:22 the story of the the story of the the laborers that went out. One spent 12 hours in the field, and one spent only 1 hour in the field. At the end of the day, what did they get? You remember? 37:43 They got a denarius. They got a denarius at the end of the day. Whether that was 12 hours or 1 hour, they got a denarius. The one who worked all 12 hours would have went home, told his wife and kids, "I worked the scorching sun 38:02 day in till the end of the day. I'm frustrated. The master gave me a din- denarius for all my hard labor." And the wife might have asked, "Say, but a denarius is a a day's wage, so you got what you deserved." 38:20 He said, "But no, that that's not the problem. There's another person who came for 1 hour. He also got a denarius. He didn't do anything. I got a denarius." He went back with the denarius upset and complaining because he just got a denarius. 38:39 Two houses down, there's another guy going back home. "Hey, wife and children, guess what? I got a denarius." "Why are you excited?" I spent 1 hour working and I got a a full day's worth of wages. I didn't wait a too long before he 38:56 questions and I came back home and said, "Hey, I'm going to leave it while leave while it's good. I got this denarius." It was the same denarius for two people. One came away disappointed, 39:16 upset, upset with the master. The other one was fully happy with his master. What was the difference? It was not the denarius. It was their heart towards their master. Paul, when he's was met with the Lord in Damascus road, it changed his life 39:35 completely. He didn't look at Jesus ever the way the same way ever again. He had been forgiven much. We read in Mark 14 how the one who did what she could. God wasn't looking for ex- spectacular 39:53 things from her. What she just did what she could. And it would be proclaimed with the gospel along with the gospel saying, "This is how you must be saved." If you want to serve me, just do what you can. The prodigal son. 40:11 How How is the father How did the father look at that prodigal son when he came back home? I don't know when even imagine if, you know, if a child gets lost, you know. To think day and night, that would be a nightmare. Just to think about what 40:29 happened to the child. How's he doing? It would be a nightmare. Everyday looking outside looking for that son. Go back go to sleep, have nightmares, what happened to my son? Is he alive? Get up the next day, look out that 40:48 window, look down. And the day he saw that son come back. Broken lives, heartaches, broken people. The father ran out to him and said, "Thank you for coming back." Do you see your father's looking at you 41:07 that way? "Thank you for coming back." You've been long gone for so long. I didn't know what happened to you. I'm so happy to see your face. Doesn't matter what you've done. It's a new beginning. All things have passed. All things are 41:24 new. Why is it important to see God as he is? In Luke 19, there's a a parable. And this is the response of the man who had one who was given one mina or one coin. He got one coin and 41:43 this is what he told the master. You This is the response of the master when he says, "Hey, I hid it." "You vile and wicked slave." The king roared. "Hard am I?" He called him a hard master. "Hard am I? 41:59 That's exactly how I'll be towards you." If I see God to be a hard taskmaster, if I see that master as a denarius who made me work 12 hours and gave me a denarius, if I look at God that way, then God will treat me that way as well. 42:17 You think I'm hard, I'm going to be hard towards you. But if I see God as that one who gave me a denarius for working 1 hour, so much he's lavished his love on me, then I'll say, "God God, you're a good God. You're a loving God. Thank you for 42:32 coming for people like me. Heart with people with heartaches, broken lives, ruined lives. You came for me. Thank you, Lord." And so today I wanted to ask each one of you. You You know about forgiveness. You know about 42:51 God's mercy. But do you want to receive it today? I don't know if you received it or not. Maybe you have received it. But if you received it, you will not be living in discouragement and condemnation. You will be living like we see the example 43:08 of Paul and we see the example of Lazarus. We will be living like that. So I want to receive that and I invite you also to receive that. That mercy that Paul received, that Peter received, that made them live in triumph, 43:25 not plagued by the past. They were a new creation in Christ. And so I want to ask you to receive mercy and love in the same way that they did. There's a website called the fatherslovel. I mean, fathersloveletter.com. And I encourage you 43:44 to go and watch that. I I watched that and it has a paraphrase of scriptures so that it reads like a letter from God our father to us. And there's wonderful things written there of God being for us. Paul says that. God is for us. 44:04 Who is Who can be against us? And so I didn't encourage you to watch that.
