0:00 Let's turn to Isaiah chapter 48. 0:30 Verse 18: "If only you had paid attention to my commandments, says the Lord, then your well-being, your peace, would have been like a river and your righteousness like the waves of the sea." 0:54 Now the first thing we need to see there is that God desires peace in our lives. 1:18 And that is what is missing everywhere in the world. Whenever you have anxiety or fear, it means there is no peace in your heart. 1:48 So peace means no anxiety, no fear. Now most of us would say such a life is impossible in this world. 2:12 As long as we live in this world, we will be anxious and worried about so many things. And we will also be afraid of so many things. Whenever Jesus came to people, he always said, fear not, don't be afraid. 2:34 What does it mean when it says your peace will be like a river? A river is something that you cannot stop. 3:02 There are many things you can stop in the world, but you can't stop a river. Even a very fast truck coming down the road, if you put a wall in front of it, it will crash against it and stop. 3:22 But if you put a wall in front of a river, the river will just go over the wall and go right flowing on. Because you cannot stop a river. 3:46 Look at all the rivers that have been flowing in the world. Thousands of rivers for so many years. Look at the godavari over here. How many years it has been flowing, it never became dry. 4:11 However much the sun may shine on it, it just keeps on flowing. When the Lord says, I will make your peace like that, it is a peace that will never run dry. And nothing will be able to stop it, it will just keep on flowing. 4:37 That is the type of peace God wants you to have in your heart. And that is the type of peace God wants you to have in your home. Now in the world, we can understand if husband and wife are fighting and quarreling frequently. 5:05 But when we say we are born again and we have left the world. Why are these born again husband and wife also fighting and quarreling? There is no peace in their heart, there is no peace in their home. 5:36 And of course we know in the world there is no peace. There are always wars and murders and terrorists and so many things. And the sad thing is, in many churches also there is no peace. 5:58 There are people fighting with each other in the church. People going to court against one another in the church. And usually all these court cases are about earthly property. 6:19 There is no peace. There is no peace. And do you know to whom God says there is no peace? See, Isaiah again in verse 57, chapter 57, and verse 19. 7:01 The Lord says, "Peace, peace to those who are far away and to those who are near, says the Lord, and I will heal him." 7:22 See, that is a prophecy which is quoted in the New Testament as referring to the Gentiles and the Jews. That means the Jews were near, the Gentiles were far, and the Lord says, "Peace to both of them." 7:45 And that is why that verse is quoted in Ephesians 2:17. But in contrast to that, it talks about the wicked. And it says in verse 21, "There is no peace, says my God, for the wicked." 8:09 So, there is a contrast. God says, "Those whom I call, they have peace." Those who reject my call and are wicked, there is no peace. 8:30 So, what do we learn from that? When there is no peace in my heart, It is because there is some wickedness in my heart. That's what it says here. There is no peace only for the wicked. 8:50 I say, "I am a good man, I am a righteous man, righteous woman." Then, why is there no peace in my heart? Why is there no peace in my home? 9:11 Why is there no peace in my church? Let's face the word of God. There is some wickedness. Something is wrong. But you may say, "I don't feel anything wrong, I am feeling all right." 9:34 It's like sometimes when you go to a doctor and he takes a scan and he says, "You got a cancer inside." But you say, "No, I feel all right." The doctor says, "You may feel all right, but the scan says, you got a cancer." 9:53 And if you don't treat it, you will die. So, when there is a lack of peace in our heart, it is a sign there is something wrong. 10:15 God says, "I will give you peace like a river." He says in Isaiah 48:18, "If you listen to me, your peace will be like a river." When you don't listen to me, then the peace goes away. 10:42 So, first of all, we need to understand this very clearly. What is the will of God? Peace in my heart. Peace in my home. Peace in my church. 11:03 I must never be happy with anything less than this. A lack of peace is always a sign something is wrong. The river has become dry. 11:25 God says, "Your peace will be like a river." It will never be dry. Why has it become dry? There is no peace. For the wicked. So, I must say that to myself. God says, "There is no peace for the wicked." 11:58 I may not be a wicked person. I may be a good person. But there is a little bit of wickedness in my heart. The cancer is not over the whole body, just one small part. If you leave it in the small part, gradually it will cover the whole body. 12:24 That is why, if the Lord says, "I will give you peace like a river." You must say, "Lord, I always want this river to be flowing in my life." I never, never wanted to become dry in my heart. Jesus said, "If you believe in me, rivers of living water will flow from me." 12:50 That means not only I have peace in my heart, but I will be giving peace to other people. The river is flowing out to other people. Is your life like that? 13:14 I want you to listen carefully in these two, three days. And listen to this word. If you had heard, "Listen to my commandments," your peace would have been like a river. And you have to say, "Lord, my peace is not like a river because I have not listened to your commandments." 13:40 You know, when the angel came to the shepherds, when Jesus was born. You know what they said to the shepherds in Luke chapter 2? It says, "There were shepherds, verse 8, looking after the flock." 14:06 Luke chapter 2, verse 8. The shepherds were in the fields looking after their flock at night. An angel of the Lord came before them and they were afraid. 14:31 They were terribly frightened. And the first word of the angel was, "Don't be afraid." Those were some of Jesus' favorite words, "Don't be afraid." The two things Jesus kept saying, "Don't be anxious, don't be afraid." 14:55 Whenever he saw the disciples, he always said, "Don't be afraid." The angel came and said, "Don't be afraid." Because I am bringing you, verse 10, a good news. 15:18 Good news for all people. And verse 14, this good news is, "Peace on earth among all men with whom God is pleased." Did you read that? If God is pleased with you, he says, "You'll have peace." 15:55 See, peace among all those men with whom God is happy. So what does that mean? I don't have peace. Something in my life God is not happy. Then I must ask God and say, "Lord, what is it in my life that you are not happy with?" 16:17 Your will is that peace should be like a peaceful river in my life. But I feel all dry. Let me tell you something, God, it is not God's will that your life should ever be dry even one day in your life. 16:49 When you see a river flowing, you'll always see on the side of the banks, the grass and the tree are all green and fresh. If you go to a desert where there is no river, you'll find everything is brown and dry. 17:21 So, if you feel that your life is dry, it's because that river is not flowing through you. And God has brought you here so that you can have this peace flowing like a river in your life. 17:53 Listen to the word of the angel, don't be afraid. God wants to be happy with you and he wants to give you peace. So, let's come to every meeting with this faith. You know, sometimes we come to a meeting without any faith. 18:18 I want to ask you, how did you come to this meeting? Did you believe that God will do something for you in this meeting? Or you come to this meeting and say, I don't know whether God will do anything. 18:39 Then I'll tell you, nothing will happen even if you listen to God's word. See this one example. Matthew chapter 9. We read once that Jesus was going through one place and two blind men followed him. 19:00 Matthew 9:27. No, actually Jesus was going to somebody's house. He was only passing on the road. And these two blind men said, son of David, have mercy on us. 19:21 So, Jesus went past them and went into the house where he was going. And it says here, the blind man came into the house with him. That's quite bold to go into a house where they have not even invited you. 19:45 They were so eager to get Jesus to do something for them. They wanted their eyes to be open. And he asked them a question. Do you believe that I am able to do this for you? Verse 28. 20:06 It's like my asking you, do you believe God will do something for you in this meeting today? And you say, well, I don't know. Maybe. I'm not sure. Supposing these blind men, the Lord asked him, do you believe I can open your eyes? They say, we're not sure. Maybe. I don't know. They will remain blind all their life. 20:42 I said, we believe you'll do something. You know, you must come to every meeting saying, Lord, you're going to do something in my life in this meeting. I'm not going to just listen to a man. I'm not going to just listen to a man. I'm going to listen to you speaking through the man. 21:07 Because Jesus is here. I believe he's here. Many years ago, I told the Lord, Lord, I will never stand in a meeting and preach if you're not standing with me. If I stand alone in a meeting, I cannot help anybody. 21:40 If it is only my brain telling you something, it will never help you. I go to every meeting and saying, Lord, tell me what I should say. I want you to stand with me in every meeting that I speak. 22:07 And if you don't stand with me, I don't want to stand there and speak anything. And when you tell me to stop, I stop. Because I know one thing. My words cannot give you God's blessing. 22:30 Impossible. My words can only give you some knowledge. You know, I can teach mathematics here, or I can teach the Bible here. It's like just knowledge. But to get God's blessing. 22:51 Jesus, we have to hear what Jesus has to say. And His words will always bring peace. So, I want you to turn with me to Colossians in chapter 3. 23:12 Colossians chapter 3. Here it says in verse 15. Colossians 3.15. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which you are called in one body. 23:43 Now, in the English Bible margin, it says, let the peace of Christ be like a referee, like a football game referee in your heart. In the English Bible, the margin of God is called, the God of God is called, the referee. 24:01 You know, every football game, there has to be a referee. When does he blow the whistle? When somebody did something wrong. 24:23 Maybe he pulled somebody's shirt. Or he kicked somebody. Or he touched the ball with his hands. It's a foul. The whistle means, stop the game. If you played football, you know that. 24:45 Or if you watched a football game. The referee blows the whistle. Whatever you do after that is not counted. So, I think one fellow does not care for the whistle and goes and kicks the ball into the goal. 25:10 The referee says, come back. That's not a goal. There is a foul here. It must be set right. Then only we can go with the game. So, why does it say here, the peace of Christ is the referee? 25:34 Do you know what it means? When you lose the peace in your heart, the referee is blown a whistle. You must stop. That means he is saying, something is wrong in your life. 25:59 It's your conscience the Holy Spirit speaks through. I'll give you an example. Supposing in your office, you are signing some form to make, to get some money. 26:20 And in order to get some more money, you write some false statements in that form. See, for example, you travel somewhere and they give, the company gives you a travel allowance. 26:41 Or the ticket fare. But you put more than what you paid in the train. And as you're going to sign that form, the referee blows a whistle in your heart. 27:04 There's no peace there. But you say, keep quiet, I'm going to sign it. I can make some money here. Some Christians do that. And it never goes well in their life. 27:27 Because they did not listen to the whistle of the referee. Or supposing one day, you're very angry with your wife and you shouted at her. Or you shouted at your husband. 27:50 And the referee has blown a whistle in your heart. Foul. Bring the ball back here. That means, go and ask forgiveness from your wife or your husband. Do you do it? 28:15 No, you say, I'm not going to listen to the referee. It will not go well in your life. The peace of Christ is a referee. Always listen to it. 28:38 Whatever he says. Anytime he blows the whistle. I don't have peace about something. It can happen in so many situations. For example, I remember my son, 28:59 when he finished college, he applied for a job. And he got a job in a very good company. They selected him. But they said, but they told him, you have to work seven days a week. 29:24 And we'll give you a good salary. So he wrote that to me. I did not like that. Working seven days a week, no time for God. I did not tell him anything. 29:44 Because I wanted him to take the decision himself. And he applied in another company. They also selected him. Half the pay. But there he gets Saturday, 30:04 Saturday, Sunday off. So I was waiting to see, which one will he select. Big salary. Can't go for Sunday meeting anywhere. Half the salary. 30:24 I can go for Sunday meeting. I never said anything. Because I want him to take the decision. So one day he wrote to me. Dad, I've decided to take that lower job with half the salary. 30:46 Because I told the other company, I have to go to church on Sunday. I don't want your double salary. He honoured God. I was very happy. 31:07 I told him, that is exactly what I wanted you to choose. But I wanted you to choose it yourself. I was very happy. I don't want you to choose it yourself. I don't want you to choose it yourself. I don't want you to choose it yourself. 31:16 I don't want you to choose it yourself. I don't want you to choose it yourself. I don't want you to choose it yourself. I don't want you to choose it yourself. I don't want you to choose it yourself. God honored you. Because when he got that job Sunday, he had no peace about working on his Sunday. 32:15 Lot of money. Lot of money. Lot of money. Lot of money. But no peace. The referee has blown a whistle. I am glad he listened to the whistle. So, I am telling you something. God is always interested in the future for your good. 32:39 That is why he blows the whistle. It's not because he doesn't want you to make money. But he wants you to honor him. So, that he can give you something better than money. 33:05 Do you know that money is not the best thing in the world? God's peace is far better than that. So, God always looks into the future. And he sees what is good for you. And sometimes we don't realize that. 33:30 You know, just like our children don't realize what, when we tell them to do something, they don't understand that it is good for them. At all ages, the children don't realize daddy and mommy love us and want the best for us. 33:53 Even when they are two years old. They take a knife. And you take the knife out of their hand. And they cry. They say, oh, daddy doesn't love me. He doesn't give me the knife. Mommy took away the knife. 34:14 Why? Because you love that child. You know, it can hurt itself accidentally with that knife. And then the child grows up. And six years old. Now you take him to school. 34:34 And you know how first day in school, all children cry. Daddy, mommy go away from the gate of the school. They are crying. Mommy doesn't love me. He's leaving me with all these strange children. I don't know who they are. 34:53 What do you do? You go and bring your child back up and say, don't go to school. It's all right. They don't understand. That's good for them. They will understand many years later. 35:13 They say, look at all the children in the slums. They play play in the mud the whole day. They don't go to school. Why don't you allow me to be like that? Do you force me to go to school? Children don't understand what's good for them. 35:33 And then that little girl grows up. Now it's eighteen years old. And mommy says, you've got to dress properly now. And don't be so friendly with the boys in the college. And you should not stay out late in the evening. 35:55 You must come back home by certain time. And what does your eighteen-year-old girl say? No! I'm free. I'm all right. I can take care of myself. You know they can get into a lot of problems. Particularly nowadays, you see, it's very dangerous for young girls to be out in the street after a certain time. 36:24 That's why we tell them, come home before a certain time. But they are so foolish, they don't understand. So, whether they are two years old or six years old or eighteen years old, they don't understand that daddy and mommy desire the best for you. 36:52 But they don't listen. All of you have experienced children like that. All people with children experience that. The children don't understand that parents are desiring their best for them. In the same way, we don't understand that God is desiring the best for us. 37:20 When he tells you certain things, for example, if somebody hurt you, forgive him. But you say, he did such a big harm to me, how can I forgive him? God says, forgive him. 37:42 See how I forgive, Jesus says, how I forgive all the people who hurt me and killed me. They haven't done that to you. Why can't you forgive them? I forgive you so much, so many things you did against me. 38:02 We don't realize that forgiveness is for our good. When you don't forgive somebody, you don't have peace in your mind. You can't even sleep properly at night. Because you are tossing around thinking about that person. 38:25 It's for your good. It's for your good. Every commandment is for your good. Every commandment is for your good. What did we read in Isaiah 48:18? If you had only listened to my commandments, your peace would have been like a river. 38:44 Whatever! Jesus told a story about a son who told his father, give me my share of my property, I'm going away. You know that story in Luke 15. 39:16 That's from verse 11 onwards. But you know the story well. It's a very well-known story. He had only two sons. And the younger one said, give me my share of the property. Now, father loved his son. 39:38 He knew this twenty-year-old boy does not know how to handle so much money. See, we know the father was a very rich man because he had many servants in his house. You read in that story that he had many servants. 40:05 That means he must have been a very rich man. A lot of property and a lot of money. Even if he had two crores, the younger boy says, give me my share, he gets one crore. But the father knows this twenty-year-old boy with one crore, he will destroy himself. 40:29 It's not good for him. He must have told the son, that's not good for you, son. Don't listen to me, stay here. But you know how a lot of young people are? They say, Daddy, you don't know. 40:52 I know how to take care of myself. Give me my share, I'm going. I'm going. And the father says, okay, take it. He knows this child will go and ruin himself. And after a few years, just like the father said, he's wasted all his money. 41:17 All his friends took his money. And finally he is so poor that he is looking after pigs. And he doesn't even have money to get food. He wants to eat what the pigs are eating. How did that happen? The father could have told him when he came back, if you had listened to me, he would not have reached that level. 41:49 Your peace would have been like a river in this house. We have to learn something from that. When we don't listen to our heavenly father. And we take his gifts and spend it on ourselves. 42:12 You will finally end up where the pigs are. Just like that prodigal son took the father's money and spent it all on himself. He lost his peace. 42:32 He lost his joy. He lost everything. Many of God's children are also like that. We receive God's gifts. We use it for ourselves. Listen to this. Who is the prodigal son? 42:55 The one who takes God's gifts and uses it for himself. Like this boy took one crore and went away and spent it all on himself. There are many gifts God has given us. 43:16 He has given us health. I say, Lord, I want to use my health to serve you. I don't want to use my health just to make more and more money for myself. I want to earn my living and take care of myself. 43:37 So that I don't become a beggar. But I want to use my health for you. God has given us free time. Do you get free time? How do you spend your free time? 44:04 Watching television. Many people say, I don't have time to read the Bible, brother. You don't have 15 minutes to read the Bible. And you have two hours to watch some useless thing on television. 44:24 Time. You waste on something useless. God has given us money. 44:44 You can say, it's all for me. Nothing for God. That is the prodigal son. God gives us something and we think it's all for me. Those are the people who have no peace in their life. Anxiety. 45:05 Fear. Quarrels in their home. Fights and quarrels in their home. The Lord says, if you listen to my commandments. No peace in your life and in your home would have been like a river. 45:25 We must believe that is God's will for every one of us. Heaven is a place of perfect peace. Nobody fights with anybody there. Nobody is worried or anxious about anything. 45:47 If you think right now, for example, in heaven. Peter, Paul, so many people are there. And the angels, Michael and Gabriel are all there. Many godly men are there. And they look down on this earth. 46:09 And the devil is doing so many wicked things on this earth. You think they are worried in heaven? Oh, the devil is doing so many things. What is going to happen? What's going to happen? What's going to happen? 46:30 They are not worried. When we see something on the earth, we are worried. Why is it in heaven when they see all these things happening on the earth, they are not worried? Because they know God is in control of everything. 46:54 When you believe that God is in control of everything, you will have perfect peace in your heart. Whatever may happen in the world. Let me turn you to Psalm 46. 47:16 If you read Psalm 46. At the top of the Psalm, it is written, "This is a Psalm of the Sons of Korah." Is it written there? Yeah. You see in the top of your Telugu Bible, it is written there, "A Psalm of the Sons of Korah." 47:42 Did you read that? So, when you read something like that, you must ask yourself, "Who are these sons of Korah?" So, I will show you something. Turn to Numbers chapter 16. Numbers 16. 48:02 There we read of a man called Korah. He was a relative of Moses. Moses was from the tribe of Levi and it says here, Korah was also from the tribe of Levi. 48:22 And he was thinking, "Why should Moses be the leader? Why can't I also be a leader? I am also a Levite." You know, sometimes that happens in a church. 48:42 Why is that brother an elder? I can also be an elder. If he can preach, I can also preach. That is the spirit of Korah. God has appointed one man to Moses to be the leader. And you rebel against him. 49:06 I have seen that happen in many churches. God makes a man an apostle or a prophet or an elder. And somebody does not like that. And he wants to rebel against them. 49:29 So, Korah came to Moses. Usually, these people don't come alone. They gather other people with them. So, he gathered Detan, Abiram and On. Three people. Four people mentioned in verse 1. 49:56 Korah, Detan, Abiram and On. They went to Moses, verse 2. And they gathered 250 other leaders. And they came to Moses and Aaron in verse 3. 50:17 And they said, you think you are only holy? The whole congregation is holy. Then why do you exalt yourself above all the others? What did Moses do? Did Moses start fighting with them? 50:37 A man of God does not fight. Just see what Moses did. It says, he fell on his face to the ground. And he said, Korah, I will not fight with you. Tomorrow, verse 5, the Lord will show whom he chose and whom he did not choose. 51:10 I am not going to say, I am the leader. The Lord will show you tomorrow. So, the next day, we read here that out of the four people, only three of them came. 51:32 You read about them in verse 24. Korah, Detan and Abiram. What happened to the fourth fellow called On? By the next morning, he got some sense. He said, I am not going to rebel against God's man. And because of that, he saved his family. 51:48 He told Korah, please forgive me. I am not coming with you people. You can go and rebel against Moses. I will not rebel against God's man. You can go and rebel against Moses. I will not rebel against God's man. You can go and rebel against Moses. 51:50 I will not rebel against God's man. He said, I am not going to rebel against God's man. He said, I am not going to rebel against God's man. He said, I am not going to rebel against God's man. He said, I am not going to rebel against God's man. 51:57 He said, I am not going to rebel against God's man. So, out of the four, only three were left. And they were standing with their families. And Moses said, I am not going to rebel against God's man. He said, I am not going to rebel against God's man. 52:06 He said, I am not going to rebel against God's man. He said, I am not going to rebel against God's man. He said, I am not going to rebel against God's man. He said, I am not going to rebel against God's man. He said, I am not going to rebel against God's man. 52:11 He said, I am not going to rebel against God's man. He said, I am not going to rebel against God's man. He said, I am not going to rebel against God's man. He said, I am not going to rebel against God's man. So, out of the four, only three were left. 52:21 And they were standing with their families. And Moses said, all of you, verse 27, get away from the dwellings of Korah, Detan and Abiram. And these three families were standing, verse 27, with their wives and their sons and their little ones. 52:50 Who were the sons? The sons of Korah. They were standing there. Sons of Detan, sons of Abiram. And the sons of Korah also. 53:11 And then what happened? We read, when Moses finished speaking, verse 32, the earth opened its mouth and swallowed all of them, the household and all the men who belong to Korah with their possessions. But, now I will show you something in Numbers chapter 26. 53:47 We must read the Bible carefully. Here it says, about Numbers 26, verse 9. The Detan and Abiram were the ones who contended against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah when they contended against the Lord. 54:11 And the earth, verse 10, opened its mouth and swallowed up all Korah and his company. And 250 men, they all became a warning. 54:32 They died. They died. They died. They died. They died. They died. They died. They died. Now, listen, here is the good news. Verse 11, but the sons of Korah did not die. 54:53 How did that happen? Now picture this. Moses is standing there. Korah and his family all standing here, wife and children, sons. Maybe the sons were 20 years old, 25 years old. 55:14 And Moses said, get away from the tent of Korah. And these sons, they looked up to their father. He said, Daddy, we are not going to stand with you in rebellion against God's man. 55:35 And they ran away from their father and stood with Moses. That's why they did not die. Last minute, they got some sense. It's a very dangerous thing to stand against a man of God. 55:58 Even if your father and mother are standing against a man of God, you as a son or daughter say, Daddy, Mommy, I will not stand with you against a man of God. Maybe some of your parents are standing against a man of God. 56:23 How many of you have the boldness of the sons of Korah to say, Daddy, I will not stand against a man of God? So they saw the earth swallowing up their parents. 56:46 Praise the Lord, we are saved. And then they had children. And those sons of Korah wrote Psalm 46. If those sons of Korah had not stood against their father, there would be no Psalm 46 in the Bible. 57:07 What happened? Last minute, while they were standing with their father, they heard the referee blow a whistle in their heart. Don't stand with your father. 57:33 Stand with God's man. They quickly ran away. If they had waited five minutes, they would be in hell today. They would have had no children. There would be no sons of Korah. There would be no Psalm 46. 57:56 There would be no Psalm 42, which says, as the deer pants for the water, so my heart pants after you, O God. Have you read these Psalms? These are all wonderful Psalms. You know the other Psalm 84? 58:18 Which says, the bird and the swallow has found a nest for itself in your house, O God. You know that verse? Psalm 84. It's better to be a doorkeeper in God's house than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. 58:40 Psalm 84 verse 10. Which is the tents of wickedness? That is his father, Korah, that tent. 59:05 Do you understand this? It's written on top, the Psalm of the sons of Korah. Now we understand Psalm 84 a little better. And what is he saying? I would rather stand with God's man in the house of God than stand in the tents of wickedness here. 59:26 Because he listened to the referee. So I want to say to all of you, listen to the Holy Spirit's voice in your heart. When you lose your peace about something, you don't feel at peace to do something. 59:55 Listen to it. Always stand with God's man. Even if you have to stand against your relatives. Then you will also be able to write some Psalms in your life. 1:00:16 But children also will be able to praise God. When you refuse to stand in the tents of wickedness. Look at the Psalm that the sons of Korah wrote in 46. Now you understand what happened. How they were saved from that earth swallowing up their parents. 1:00:44 Now read Psalm 46 and you will really understand its meaning. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. God, my parents have gone into hell. But you helped me in this trouble. 1:01:08 And so we will not fear, verse 2. Even if the mountains slip into the heart of the sea and the earth changes. You know when God is speaking to you, by peace in your heart if you obey. 1:03:44 When you are choosing the way of disobedience, there will be a lack of peace. Romans chapter 8. How to find the will of God in a difficult situation. You know, supposing you come on a road and then the road is going in two directions. 1:04:06 Which one shall you take? Shall I marry this girl or this girl? Or this boy or this boy? Shall I take this job or this job? How to find out? 1:04:28 Romans 8:6 The mind that is set on the spirit is life and peace. Peace. That is how we know the mind of the Holy Spirit. 1:04:49 When I think of one direction. This person. I will marry. There is no peace in my heart. It is not the will of God. This person. My son had a choice in two days. This one, a lot of money. And then you think of this other girl. And then you think of this other girl. And then you think of this other girl. She is not so pretty. 1:05:59 But she is a God-fearing girl. She will do you good all the days of your life. And God gives you peace. Choose that. You know, like I told you. My son had a choice in two jobs. 1:06:21 This one, a lot of money. No time to go to church. No peace. I don't want it. This one, less money. But I can have Sunday off to go to church. I'll choose it. Peace in the heart. That is how you can find the will of God. 1:06:43 Because the mind of the spirit is peace. Now have you understood Isaiah 48:18? If you had listened to me, peace would have been so smooth like a river. Peacefully flowing down. 1:07:07 That's Psalm 23. Psalm 23. It says. The Lord is my shepherd. And if the Lord is my shepherd, where does he lead me? Verse 2. He leads me beside peaceful water. 1:07:28 A river of peace. That's where the Lord always leads his people.
