Transcript 0:00 [Music] it's good to quiet our hearts I know we're all excited to see each other and it's wonderful to rejoice and be joyful in the Lord's presence but it's good also it speaks in the Book of Revelation about a half hour moment of silence and 0:19 I often wondered what was going on during that time have you ever been silent for half an hour I don't think I have but we're going to do that in heaven I think maybe many times and during those times of Silence what will 0:34 go through your mind we're still here on this Earth and we have Earthly cares we have Earthly responsibilities we have things that have happened this past week or this morning even things that we think are going to happen in the next 0:46 few days that can crowd out crowd our minds and keep us preoccupied with the things of this earth and the Holy Spirit says come up higher that's the call you here in Revelation 4 and revelation 22 come up high higher let's spend a moment 1:02 or so in silence before the Lord we often lift our hands to him and we don't fully understand what that means I don't at least but the Bible says to lift our hands and sometimes that's a little awkward or feels uncomfortable but I want to encourage 1:17 you brothers sisters and children especially you've done this before with your eyes closed and your mind meditating on the Lord ask him to reveal himself to you it's not imagination it's not coming up with your own idea of God 1:31 but the Holy Spirit who knows all things about God searches the depths of God will reveal himself to you will reveal God to you if you are sincere and cry out to him if you ask him to fill you aresh with his Spirit God will reveal 1:46 himself to you let's lift our hands together close your eyes don't think about anybody else around you or anything else and just between you and God make an altar where you say Lord I am yours you've redeemed me you purchased Me with Your Precious Blood I 2:02 am fully yours and as I lift my hands to you this morning I say I am still yours as much yours as when you died on the cross and gave up everything for my sake as much yours heavenly father when you forsook your own son I'm yours you 2:17 purchase me with your blood Lord Jesus I belong to you forgive me for how I have used any part of this life that you gave me for myself and I never want to live for myself anymore I want to live wholly yours that's why I'm lifting my hands to 2:31 you this morning and saying You Are God Alone there is none like you I praise you and exalt you with my hands lifted searches and groans within us with groanings too deep for words and as we truly seek to praise God in a way that's worthy of Heaven worthy 6:20 of him it's only his holy spirit that can do it within us the praise that begins in heaven flows through Us by his Holy Spirit and returns back to him for from him through him and to him are all things to him be the glory forever amen 6:34 and as we sing this next hymn let's pray that the Lord will pour out his spirit aresh in our midst and within us that every single one of us from the youngest to the oldest will know the power of the spirit within us Lord I am 6:48 fond earnestly long into thy likeness to grow thirsting for more more and deeper 7:03 commun yearning thy love more fully to go open the wells of Grace and salv pour the rich strings in our heart she had a need she had an emptiness that that she knew only God could fill and I hope you have that sense of emptiness and vacuum without the power of the 10:06 spirit without Christ himself within you pray that more of his spirit will be poured out within you pray that Christ will be more magnified there will be less of Self in your heart in your life in your interactions in your marriage 10:18 with your children in your workplace or on the streets and other people that you interact with less of you and more of Christ if that's the longing of your heart pray to him Heavenly Father we come to you and give you thanks and 10:28 praise and Glory and Honor we exalt your name we magnify your name we make it big Lord because your name is much bigger than we could ever imagine and we exalt your name together because your word says so but we have every reason for it 10:41 you've manifested yourself so wonderfully rich in Mercy and Grace towards us thank you thank you Lord we never want to grow s we never want to grow tired of saying thank you because that's what we'll do for all eternity 10:52 we'll get there when we see you face to face we'll realize how even the Gratitude we expressed for you here on this Earth is so small compared to how much you are worth how valuable you are how deserving of Glory and Honor and 11:05 praise you are Lord I pray that our praise and the honor and the worthiness we give you is not just by our words here on Sunday morning but how we live on Monday and on Tuesday and Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday how we are in 11:18 our thoughts and our affections our Ambitions our goals those things that nobody else can see how we treat each other our attitudes towards others that there you might be Lord there you might be king of kings make it so Lord so be 11:31 exalted aresh let this time that we are here together be a step forward another way of opening your yourself to us Lord in a fresh way in a new way in a way that dims the things of this Earth that everything on this Earth including my 11:45 own self will grow darker and I'll want less of it and I'll hate my own life and my own self and hate the things of this world that I might love you more thank you make that make that true Lord for every single one of us all those 11:58 listening to this prayer Lord we pray for those who are in a spiritual battle those in whose life the devil has a foothold where there's Pride or selfish ambition or anything of this world Lord where the devil has a foothold I pray 12:10 that you will loose them in the name of Jesus and bind the work of Satan in anyone's life I pray you'll do that Lord if there are any who are discouraged that you lift them up Lord that their heads will be lifted up their shoulders 12:21 will be lifted up their hands will be strengthened their knees will be strengthened Lord that they might run after you they might see the glory of our calling and see that you finished the work Satan's a defeated enemy thank 12:32 you Lord you will do that so I pray that any who have been defeated Lord this in in in whose life sin is a foothold where sin has entangled them of in this past week set them free Lord we pray that we might walk in newness of life and 12:45 freedom for which you called us we pray for our marriages I pray you'll knit the hearts of husbands and wives together we know the devil wants to bring division there we pray against it we stand against it be the wall of fire around 12:56 our homes Lord we pray be the glory in our midst that what holds us together as a family is your glory oh that you will knit the hearts of husbands and wives together knit the hearts of parents and children together Lord if there's any a 13:08 strange relationship or a coldness Lord I pray that you'll knit the hearts of our children back to us parents and us to our parents as well Lord us to our children as well do that Lord that we will be a testimony to the world of 13:20 Godly homes Godly marriages Godly children that are growing up to Love You Lord For Whom Jesus is everything they're not living for the things of this Earth use that Lord let your Aroma be in us in our marriages in our homes 13:33 in our children as well as they interact with people around them thank you Lord only by your Holy Spirit can we do this so I pray you'll pour out your spirit we need the anointing and the power of your Holy Spirit like they received on the 13:44 day of Pentecost The Same Spirit longs to move in us we know it Lord and even if the world is fading away we can be renewed From Grace to Grace from strength to strength from Faith to Faith Lift us up Lord to a deeper experience 13:57 with you this week we've ever had and we believe we will have the best week we've ever had in our life it's possible Lord we claim it by the name of Jesus Lord we ask not for Earthly things we don't want Health we don't want wealth we want your 14:10 spirit we want knowledge of you we want eternal life thank you Lord that you long to give us that that we can ask freely without that you that you will give it to us freely Lord you won't scold us you will give it to us 14:22 liberally if we believe you and trust you we trust you also for our Earthly needs Lord we recognize that the jobs you've given us the means by which we live on this earth on which you've placed us you own the cattle on a 14:34 thousand hills you are the one that meets our needs I pray that you will do that AR fresh this week our eyes are on you Lord not our employers not our bank accounts our eyes are on you you are the our provider you alone our our provider 14:46 and we thank you you will do that thank you Lord I pray for those that need healing some in our midst that aren't here today are sick others who deal with constant pain or other forms of sickness others whose bodies are slowly getting 14:57 weaker Lord I pray that that you will come and strengthen our bodies for as much as you want us to live on this Earth we don't want to live a day longer or a day shorter Lord we want to fulfill the purpose for which you placed us here 15:08 on this Earth so strengthen our bodies that we might live for you that we might further your kingdom that we might do the work for which you placed us here on this Earth and finish the course of our lives so bring healing Lord we pray for 15:19 those that need healing touch their bodies and heal them Lord you our bodies are for you and so we know that you are for our bodies you will strengthen us and heal us Lord you the same Jesus who walked here on this Earth and healed any 15:31 who came to you in faith trusting you you are able Lord we believe that you are willing and you are able we thank you Lord I pray that we will live lives free of worry how often we even as Christians Lord forget that we have a 15:44 God who rules the universe and that God is our father oh that we this next week will be a a week free of worry and anxiety not even a moment of it Lord that's that's you asked us you said that we don't have to worry at all that we 15:58 could cast all our cares on you and I pray Lord that we will live lives as children of you Lord knowing that we are children of a great God who rules the universe who's planned our lives from beginning to end who knows the end from 16:11 the beginning and we commit Our Lives aresh to you Lord and I pray that the proof of that will be seen in how we live our lives here on this Earth Lord may we be still and know that you are God you will be exalted among the 16:25 Nations you will be exalted in this church you will will be exalted in our homes you will be exalted in our marriages you will be exalted in my life because I am still I'm not fighting I'm not trying to climb up higher I'm 16:41 still know that you are God we pray these things in the name of Jesus because we know that you hear us when we ask in his name and anything we ask in his name you will do father we thank you becoming more attractive to 24:36 you as you walk with Christ but less attractive because they're fading away it's dying it's fading away it's it's on its last legs everything in this world the world and all that is in it it's dying it's passing away and if anyone loves 24:52 the world the love of the father is not in him the lust of the flesh the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life all the things that the world glories in is passing away and even though we live among it live in the midst of the world 25:07 and partake of it as much as we need to for our sustenance only that we might further the kingdom of God and fulfill his purpose here on this Earth let's fix our vision on heaven and Jesus himself who is heaven who's coming soon to call 25:22 us home to the end now time is Earth for Harvest ripens soon the first fruits will be 25:44 ready will Jesus gather first in the clouds are can he come the har Start begin then our time on Earth is 26:08 over and to rest me
