Is he precious to you more than anything of this earth? Lord, you are more costly than you. Yes, you are, Lord. 9:39 Lord, you are more beautiful than time. Nothing I desire compares with you. Lord, you are more precious than silver. 10:07 Lord, you are more costly than gold. Lord, you are more beautiful than diamonds. Nothing I desire compares with you. 10:42 Your eyes upon Jesus. Look full in his wonderful way. All the things of this earth. And the things of this earth grow strangely. 11:08 In the light of his glory and grace. Amen. You may be seated. Let's pray and give thanks to him. 11:28 If you really meant what we just prayed, that you want the things of this earth to grow dim. Oh, how it will set you free. There will be joy. In his presence is joy forever. At his right hand is pleasures eternal. Pleasure is forevermore. 11:46 This is what it means to dwell in the presence of the Lord. This is what it means for the lights, the dim lights of this earth to completely disappear and vanish. In the light of his glory and grace. As you behold his face, you're blinded to the things of this earth. 12:02 Oh, dear brothers, dear sisters, dear children. I hope that was the prayer of your heart as we just sang. If you really mean it, God will start to turn off those lights. Maybe he'll take some things away from you. He'll ask you to give up some things to prove that you really have turned your eyes to him. 12:20 Bring your life to him afresh today and lay it on the altar. Lay it all. Let him do with you as he wishes. Have thine own way, Lord. Have thine own way. You are the potter. I am the clay. I am just clay, Lord. I have no right to say or to say, why were you doing this to me? 12:38 But thank you, Lord, that your plans for us are for our welfare. You're going to fashion us into a vessel fit for honor, for your glory, that you will be pleased with. We're created for your pleasure. So, Father, we come and we give ourselves to you knowing that that's the best thing we could ask. 12:54 Even if we were selfish. Even for our own interests. That would be the best thing because your plans are for our welfare. But it's not for our sakes, Lord, but for your sake. It's your church, Lord, that you're building. 13:06 You are the head. You're the captain. You're in charge. Your Holy Spirit is the one that's leading. And you are the one that's building the church, not us, Lord. And we're just here to say, show us your will that we might walk in it. 13:16 Thank you, Lord, that you will sustain the righteous. You will help us. You're on our side against the devil. We proclaim today that you're seated on the throne. You've defeated death and the grave. You've conquered all sin. 13:28 We proclaim it, Lord Jesus, in a world that's not sure about it. Even in a Christendom that is not sure about it by their lives. We proclaim it, we proclaim it. We believe it, Lord. And we ask you to prove it in our lives this week. 13:39 That you are triumphant. That we are more than conquerors because of you, Lord Jesus. You weren't just the only conqueror. You're conquering through us. And the God of peace shall soon crush Satan under our feet as well. 13:52 Lord, do that, we pray. Be exalted. Let your glory reign in my life. Let your glory reign in our marriages. Let your glory reign in our homes. Let your glory reign in your church, Lord. That's what we want. Your majesty, abundant. 14:06 No darkness at all. No place for sin. No place for selfishness or grumbling or complaining or bitterness or unforgiveness. Father, we ask you, Lord, to fill our lives with more of your glory today than we've ever experienced. 14:19 And in order for that, Lord, we will decrease. We'll go further down. We'll think less about ourselves and more of you. And see you high and lifted up, Lord. We believe that you, when you're lifted up, will draw others to yourself. 14:32 You said you would, Lord, so do that. Build your church. The church against which the gates of hell will not prevail. Father, we pray that you will, we pray for those that, we lift up our spiritual needs to you, Lord. For any who are in a spiritual bondage. 14:45 Maybe this week, the devil had a foothold in their lives, in their thought life, or with their eyes, or their tongue. Or unbelief and fear and worry. All these things that are dishonoring to you. Lord, we pray you stand against that. 14:59 You've not given us the spirit. That's the spirit of the antichrist. That's the spirit of the devil. All fear is of the devil. Lord, we want to have nothing to do with it. Lord, we pray for, that you will come and let your Holy Spirit reign in every one of us. 15:12 If there are any who are bound in any way, in any sin. Break those bonds in the name of Jesus, we pray. Give them faith, Lord. We lift them up to you. You said that you would even hear our faith on behalf of others. And we intercede for them. 15:25 Any listening to this prayer. Any sitting here or watching online. Or will hear this later on. Lord, we pray that you will come and do the work for which you came to do on this earth. To destroy the works of Satan. To set free the captives. 15:37 To open blind eyes. Those who are spiritually blind. Those who are limping spiritually. That they might be healed and might run after you. So do that, Lord, we pray. Thank you. Thank you that you're a God who's alive. You're a hearing God. 15:51 You're a speaking God. You're a seeing God. You're a working God. You're not an idol, Lord. We thank you that you're seated on the throne. And you will work on our behalf for our good. We commit our physical needs to you. 16:04 Many who are sick in our midst. And even now, Lord, who are not here today. Or those who deal with constant pain. Lord Jesus, we ask you until you give us an answer. Lord, until you make it clear to us. And so we lift up those who are sick, even right now. 16:17 Lay your hands on them right at this moment. Lord Jesus, we don't need your physical hands anymore. Because you're there seated at the throne. And all authority has been given to you in heaven and on earth. And that authority, on the basis of that authority, Lord, 16:29 we lift up these, your sons and daughters, your children to you. That you might lay your hands on them of fresh and heal them, Lord. You are a healing God. And so bring healing. Let your healing power flow through any who are sick. 16:41 Any who deal with constant pain, Lord. In their body, in their skin, in their intestines. Or wherever it might be. Their heart. In our parts of their body. Lord Jesus, heal them, we pray. Completely. I pray even for children who are sick, Lord. 16:55 You children who are listening. You pray. And ask Jesus to heal you. If you deal with pain and sickness. Oh, He loves to hear you. Pray. Pray to Him, children. Pray to Him. He'll hear you. He will heal you. You don't really even need anybody else to pray for you. 17:09 But you can pray. He loves to hear you. Listen. He loves to hear you. Pray. He will listen to you. Father, we lift them up to you. Thank you that you've given us the authority here on this earth to lift up these children of yours. 17:19 So heal them, Lord, we pray. Let your healing power flow through them. For material needs, Lord, job situations, these are small things for you, the great God. And yet you care about them. And you said that we don't have to worry. 17:31 We don't have to even think about what clothes we will wear or how tomorrow we'll have enough. But you taught us not to worry, Lord. And you rebuked your disciples when they worried or they were full of fear. So, Lord Jesus, we want there to be no unbelief, no fear, no worry in our lives at all. 17:45 And we believe you will take care of us. You will meet our needs today and in the days to come until your return, Lord Jesus. We trust you completely. We don't trust. We refuse to trust in the things of this earth. We refuse to trust in how much money there is in the bank account or is not there in the bank account. 18:01 We refuse to trust in our jobs. We refuse to trust in our health because all of that is from you. Thank you, Lord. Thank you for your mercies that are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness, Lord. You proved yourself. 18:13 You've never failed anybody who trusted you and you're never going to. And we want to prove that, Lord Jesus, by our lives. Be exalted. Thank you. Thank you you will do that, Lord. We pray for relationships. We pray for marriages. 18:25 Oh, Lord, we know how the devil wants to come and bring division between husbands and wives. Bring divorce so rampant in the world and even in Christendom. We stand against it, Lord. We pray for unity in our homes, between husbands and wives. 18:38 Unity between parents and children. Knit our hearts together, Lord, in our homes first of all. And then in this church, Lord, where you've called us to be a living, local expression of your body. Knit our hearts together. 18:48 We can't do it, Lord, by our own strength. We refuse to do it. We refuse to try to do that or build a club. We want your body, Lord, a work that you are doing. Knitting our hearts together in true fellowship that comes by walking in the light as you are in the light. 19:03 As we are united with you, Lord Jesus, unite us with each other. Do that work. Finish it, Lord, the work that you've started. You've started a good work of unity among us. I pray you'll establish it and use it, Lord, as a witness to the world. 19:17 Bringing us from different cultures, different backgrounds, different countries, different experiences, different social statuses, Lord. All of those mean nothing but that we are one in Christ. Thank you. Thank you, Lord. 19:28 We seek to be your disciples. We want to run after you faster than we have run yet, Lord Jesus. You're coming as soon. We want to be ready. We believe you will help us. Thank you. In Jesus' name. Amen. What a wonderful thing to trust. 19:47 A loving God, a loving Father. Here's a very, very old hymn. There's a lot of words in it, so I'd like us to read it together so you understand what we're about to sing and then we can sing it together. Anna Waring wrote this song many years ago. 20:02 Father, I know that you've portioned out all of my life for me. Do you know that? God has planned every little bit of your life for you. He's portioned it out. Today, He's portioned out your life. It means He's planned it. 20:16 He's planned grace for you. And the changes that are going to come, she says, I'm not afraid to see them. But I ask you for a present mind, a mind that's living in the present, intent on pleasing you. This is a life that's pleasing to you. 20:33 She says, I ask you for a love that's thoughtful through constantly watching the needs of others. To meet the glad with joyful smiles. Have you thought about that? When you see somebody that's happy, no matter what you're going through, you can be happy as well. 20:50 With a joyful smile. And to wipe the weeping eyes. And a heart that's at leisure from itself. That means that you're not so self-focused. You're only thinking about yourself and what you're going through and what you've been through. 21:05 Or how you're feeling today. A heart at leisure from itself. Take a break from yourself, is what she's saying. Take a break from thinking about yourself. To soothe and sympathize others. She goes on to say, I wouldn't have a restless heart. 21:21 A restless will that always wants to do this and do that and do the other thing. To do some great thing. Or to know some secret thing. But to be treated as a child, like David wrote in that psalm. As a weaned child on my mother's breast. 21:35 Think about how a child that's leaning on its mother's breast is just at rest. Not worried about what's going on in the world around it. This is how God wants us to be. As a child that's weaned. Weaned child. Treated as a child. 21:51 Guided where I go. And so I ask you for strength every day. You'll never deny any that asks. Oh, will you trust that word today? God will never deny you if you ask Him in faith. And a mind that can blend outward life while keeping at your side. 22:10 You know, we're called to live in the world. He hasn't taken us out of the world. We have jobs to do. We have games to play. We have needs to meet in our homes. But all the while keeping at His side. Content to fill a little space if God is glorified. 22:25 If God calls you just to fill a little space in the church. You think, well, I don't know what my purpose is. It's a little space. Fill it. God will be glorified. And so in a service which His will appoints. There is no bonds for me. 22:42 For my inmost heart is taught the truth that makes thy children free. The truth shall set you free, Jesus said. And this life of self-renouncing love. This is the true life of freedom. A life of self-renouncing love. There's a few other verses. 23:01 You can look it up sometime online. Father, I know that all my life is portioned out for me. And the changes that are sure to come, I do not fear to see. 23:28 Father, I ask Thee for a present mind intent on pleasing me. I ask Thee for a thoughtful love through constant watching wise. 23:49 To meet the glad with joyful smiles and to wipe the weakly eyes. And a heart at leisure from itself to soothe and set but eyes. 24:10 I would not have a restless will that hurries to and fro. Seeking for some great thing to do or secret thing to know. I would be treated as a child and guided where I go. 24:38 So I ask Thee for the daily strength to none that asks Thee nigh. And a mind to blend with outward light while keeping at Thee side. 25:00 Content to fill a little space if Thou be glorified. In a service which Thy will appoints, there are no bonds for Thee. 25:21 For my inner heart is taught the truth that makes Thy children free. And a life of self-renouncing love is a life of liberty. 25:42 For my inner heart is a life of liberty. I hope we'll think about these words this week. Meditate on it. Maybe read the words again so that we don't quickly forget what we sang just now. How deep the Father's love for us. 26:04 How vast beyond all measure. That He should give His holy Son. And make a wretch His treasure. 26:24 How great the pain of searing loss. The Father turns His face away. As wounds which bar the chosen one. Bring many sons to glory. 26:49 Behold the man upon the cross. My sin upon His shoulder. Ashamed I hear my mocking voice. 27:11 Call out among the scoffers. It was my sin that held Him there. Until it was accomplished. It is finished. This dying breath has brought me life. 27:36 I know that it is finished. I will not boast in anything. No gifts, no power, no wisdom. But I will boast in Jesus Christ. 28:01 His death and resurrection. Why should I gain from His reward? I cannot give an answer. But this I know with all my heart. 28:26 His wounds have paid my wrath. But this I know with all my heart. His wounds have paid my wrath. But this I know with all my heart. 28:51 His wounds have paid my wrath. But this I know with all my heart. But this I know with all my heart. Praise you, Lord Jesus. Praise you, Lord Jesus. Praise you, Lord Jesus. His wounds have paid my wrath. The sands of time are sinking 29:21 The dawn of heaven's grace The summer morn I've sighed for The fair sweet morn I'll wake Dark, dark hath been the midnight 29:44 But, oh it's coming Eyes at hand And glory, glory dwelling In Emmanuel's hand Before we sing this next verse, listen to the words 30:05 With mercy and with judgment He wove your web of time And yes, the dews of sorrows were lustered by His love That means they were brightened by His love You know the dews of your sorrow can be brightened by His love if you have faith 30:21 And so bless the hand that guides Bless the heart that has planned your life with great glory When throned where glory dwelleth in Emmanuel's land We're not waiting to enter Emmanuel's land We're walking in Emmanuel's land even now 30:36 Verse, the next verse goes He says, oh I am my beloved and my beloved is mine He brings a poor vile sinner He doesn't just say live in the servant's quarters He says, come into my house of wine And so I stand upon His merit 30:51 I know no other stand That's the only reason I stand here boldly today Because it's the merit of Jesus Christ And even when I get there where glory dwelleth In heaven I will stand on His merit alone Last verse we'll sing says 31:06 The bride eyes not her garment Don't look at your garment He, if you let Him He will help you purify your garment Keep it spotless But don't look at it Look at your bridegroom's face Don't gaze at the glory even But on your King of grace 31:24 If He gives you a crown Don't gaze on that But gaze on His pierced hand Because the Lamb alone is all the glory Of Emmanuel's land Verse 2 With mercy and with justice My time of time He woes 31:47 And I, the dews of sorrow Were lusted by His power I'll bless the head that guided I'll bless the heart that planned 32:10 Where throne, where glory dwelleth In Emmanuel's land Oh, I am mighty loved And my beloved's mind 32:34 He brings a poor, mild sinner Into His house of pride I stand upon His merit I know no other stand 32:58 Not in Emmanuel's land I know no other stand I know no other stand I know no other stand I know no other stand I know no other stand 33:19 I know no other stand I know no other stand I know no other stand I know no other stand And I know no other stand 33:39 I know no other stand I know no other stand I know no other stand I know no other stand I know no other stand I know no other stand I know no other stand I know no other stand 33:59 I know no other stand I know no other stand 34:27 I know no other stand I know no other stand I know no other stand I know no other stand Thank you.
