0:00 [Music] All right, good evening everyone. My name is Emmanuel. Um, so a few things that blessed me this week. The first is just as the strength of a three is in not in the external. It is the part of 0:19 my life that no one can see that will determine if I will be rooted and fruitful in Christ. 1st Samuel 16:7. The second is that it takes years of consistency in simple obedience to the Lord and the Holy Spirit that will 0:35 determine if I would remain rooted in Christ. Just as it takes years of consistency and discipline of exercise that makes an athletes build muscle. And I think Brazak actually encouraged us that I must go to the spiritual gym 0:51 regularly. 10 years of immediate obedience to the Lord for me is better than 10 youth conferences attended. The thought is that my attitude to the commandments and directions of the Lord should be one of joy and thankfulness 1:07 because for every commandment that the Lord gives me, he has also given me the Holy Spirit to keep the commandments. The fourth is that there is nothing worth living for on earth. The only life worth living for is one that is lived 1:21 for the glory of God, fixing my eyes fully on him. And as such, I must seek that which pleases God and that which is precious in his sight, which is a gentle and quiet and humble spirit, and utterly detest that which he eats, which is seen 1:38 in my inner life. 2 Corinthians 5:14-15. The fifth is that the person that God uses to bear fruits unto his name and glory is a man whose art is completely is fully yielded, fully humble, holy yet 1:56 teachable. And then the last is to be rooted in Christ just means to be rooted in submission. And submission is a good thing to learn in the days of my youths. And all right, thank you so much. So in this conference reminds me of how God's correction 2:15 though painful in the moment in the moment is truly fruitful. It's not about whether the correction was fully accurate how but how we respond. Even if we are misunderstood we are called to humble ourselves like Jesus who was 2:31 misunderstood yet never defended himself. I was especially moved by David's humility when he was exposed, corrected, and even punished. He did not blame others or make excuses. He accepted it with a soft heart. That's the kind of heart I want. Not easily 2:49 offended, but deeply rooted in in this truth. Time is short when we are young. We chase many things, but most of those things will fade. The only life that matter is said the Lord always before me and live for his glory. 3:05 I was also struck by the story in John chapter 5 where the man lay helpless for 38 long years. He kept trying and waiting and Jesus saw him knew his condition and healed him. That story encourages me to not to give up. Even 3:22 when I fall back again, Jesus sees, he knows and he can lift me up. And finally, I have been I have seen that all true restoration from sin sin to purity comes from seeking God with all my heart, says Jeremiah 29:13. 3:39 I do not want to study for knowledge alone, but let God's word fill my heart and cleanse my impurities. God's grace is sufficient, and if we walk with the Holy Spirit, we will not only stand in the storm, we will bear fruit for his 3:55 glory. I also want to sincerely thank all the elders and brothers and sisters who labored. I'm very grateful for all efforts that was put in. It's been a great blessing to me. Thank you. Hi, my name is Natalie Stall. Um, good to be 4:12 here again. Thank you church family. It was truly a gift to be among you all again the last two weekends. I was privileged to be here earlier to help and was gripped and touched by a true investing and building I saw of God's 4:23 kingdom. The examples I saw and sacrifices being made, a willingness and eagerness giving with no personal gain, but for God's glory encouraged me to go back home and serve in that way with a love and a compassion and care for God's 4:36 family. May our gardens be watered as you have watered us this week. It has been a good week, but a very challenging week. I'm thankful for the prophetic words we have been given in pointing us to Jesus and to follow him wholeheartedly and 4:49 live a life that is pleasing to him, set apart from this world around us and the opinions of men. I've been challenged this week, especially in allowing myself to be fully broken, emptied, and then filled with God's Holy Spirit so that he 5:02 can use me in his kingdom and make me a blessing. A couple of verses that have been left on my heart. 1 Peter 2:21-23. If you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to 5:16 follow his steps, who committed no sin, nor was any deceit found in him. While being reviled, he did not revile in return. While suffering, he uttered no threats, but kept entrusting himself to the one to him who judges righteously. 5:31 this phrase but kept entrusting himself to him in the circumstances I face unanswered questions uncertainties ahead misunderstandings to entrust myself to the one who in his perfect love has made his way for me who has chosen me called 5:45 me to himself and as his disciple his bride and who will work out his perfect plan for my life and for his glory to rest in his promise and know that his plans to give me a future and a hope cannot cannot be hindered the Lord will 5:58 accomplish his purpose for me the verse I go home with is Acts 20:24. I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus to testify solemnly of 6:11 the gospel of the grace of God. Thank you. Uh first of all I want to say thank God for giving me opportunity to be here and I want to say thank you all from RLCF's church from the youngest to the oldest elders from RLCF and NCTCF elders 6:29 for teaching us answering our questions playing games with us being living examples which we can follow. Uh I would like to share from last session which brother Wenheim said I felt it spoke to me directly. The best gift which I can 6:47 give to my wife are pure eyes. I would like to share two verses. 2 Timothy 21-22. If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensils. Uh you will be a special utensils for 7:05 honorable use. Your life will be clean and you will be ready for the master to use you for every good work. Also Psalm 119 verse 37. Turn my eyes away from looking at what is worthless and revive 7:21 me in your ways. Second thing I want to share is which Jeremy spoke is to take correction and discipline seriously. Correction and discipline is a mark of God's tremendous love for me. Always I want to say thank you Lord for 7:38 disciplining me and not giving up on me. I would like to share uh Hebrews 12:6 for whom the Lord loves he disciplines. Also Psalm 141 verse5 may the righteous strike me with mercy and discipline me. 7:56 It is oil for for the head. And also Proverbs 3:11-12. My son, do not reject the discipline of the Lord or Lord his rebuke. For whom the Lord loves, he disciplines. Just as father discipline the son in whom he 8:14 delights. Thank you. Yeah. Uh I want to thank God for um the whole conference. So I was challenged to seek the Lord wholeheartedly. I just would like to mention uh three statements mentioned by uh three elders. 8:33 So uh first of all I I was encouraged by what brotherh brother Olu mentioned in his uh message where he said like God wants to walk uh walk with an imperfect like me. That statement has amazed me. So I was encouraged that I should be 8:50 always ready to forgive, understand, love other brothers and sisters in the church. And secondly, brother Santos during his sharing time, he mentioned God could have easily given upon us if he wants to. But if he's still working 9:04 in us, it is not because of what we are something. It is solely because of his mercy. And I should be merciful and forgiving others just like God has forgiven me. And thirdly, I wanted to mention what brother Jeremy has 9:17 mentioned in uh his article sharing. He said that difficulties aren't necessarily a means for the fruitfulness. One example given by brother Jeremy is that about the seeds that fell in the rocky soil have an affliction but they fail to bear the 9:31 fruit finally. On the other hand, Paul mentions about his sufferings as momentary u momentary light afflictions which will produce eternal weight of glory. So uh overall I was challenged to seek the Lord, to love others, and to be 9:48 in submission to elders and authorities and to submit to correction and I was also challenged to increase my faith in the Lord and to grow in the humility. Hello everyone, my name is Haley Hail. Um this is my first singles conference 10:01 that I've ever been to and it has been an absolute blessing to fellowship with all of you. Some things that really blessed me from this conference was um that correction is a wondrous invitation to become more like Christ. 10:18 And that Jesus could use Peter much because he could be corrected much. In Hebrews 13:17, it also says, "Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls." And so we shouldn't have to take their 10:33 corrections in a condemning in condemning way because God has appointed them to help us. And lastly, from an article that we read together titled Humility by Andrew Murray, there was a quote from it that says, "Every seeker after holiness needs 10:51 to be on his or her guard, lest unconsciously what has been started in the spirit be perfected in flesh and pride creep in where its presence is least expected." Thank you. Praise the Lord, brothers and sisters. Um, first of 11:08 all, like I'd like to thank all the RLCF and NCCF elders uh for pouring their hearts out for us during this disciplehip gathering and and everyone behind the scenes, the sisters for preparing food for us and for also making this conference possible. Theme 11:22 of the conference was rooted in Christ and fruitful in your single years. But the Zach started off by explaining what a firmly rooted tree really was. He started about uh talked about when we go outside after after a storm we see big 11:35 trees just fallen on the road and we wonder how such big trees have fallen and uh he mentioned that roots really matter. He also mentioned that how those roots signify inner life and those are the things that really matter. Uh what 11:49 people really think of us doesn't matter and uh what's on the outside doesn't matter. What god thinks of me is the that mattered the most. Another thing that brother AJ said was if God opens a door nobody can close it and and if God 12:04 closes the door nobody can and if God close the door nobody can open and that really blessed me and helped me remember that uh God always has a perfect plan for me and also to always remember that God is in control. And lastly God kept speaking through me 12:21 through what brother Olu said. He said uh your life will quickly pass away and the end is near and to always remember to uh number my days and to always realize how weak I am and uh yeah may God bless his testimony. I was 12:34 encouraged by what was shared by brother AJ about clinging to Jesus in John 20:16 when Mary realized it was Jesus she clung to him and didn't want to let him go. As the conference ends, the fears can come into our hearts about our 12:49 circumstances, our trials, and even being fearful that the never- ending cycle of getting up and falling will be the same. But as we were told, we should not be fearful of any circumstance. I want to keep my eyes on Jesus and cling 13:01 to him. I want to always be in his presence and see him in every see him in everything and see him everywhere I go. I think having Jesus close to me and setting him before my eyes can be my weapon against my own flesh. Seeing how 13:17 wonderful his presence is in my life will make sin lose its power. I want him to be near to me even in the small mundane things of life and see him doing these very things. I also want to see him when he corrects me through others 13:30 he placed over me. I want to set Jesus in front of me always. Acts chapter 2 vers 25. I saw the Lord in my presence for he is at my right hand so that I will not be shaken. Thank you. Hello everyone. Um so I've been blessed um 13:46 encouraged and challenged by all the messages um and the one-on-one conversations that I've had during this conference. Um few things that stood out to me are um the first thing is bearing the fruit of praise um during the year 13:58 of drought. Um usually my usual response for um all the trials that I go through is um discouragement or complaint. Um but my attitude um I was reminded that my attitude should be of a price. Uh like how Stephen responded in Acts 7:54 14:13 and 55. Um I pray and hope that I will not um cease to bear the fruit of praise during my trials. Um um the second thing is um as Jeremiah 29:7 says um but seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile and pray to the Lord 14:29 on its behalf for in its welfare you will find your welfare. Um for me the exile might be like being part of a difficult team or a difficult having a difficult manager. Um I wish I had known this a couple of years ago where um I 14:42 was actually part of a very difficult team. um uh but this um actually reminded me that I should remember to pray um for them whenever I face such situations in the future. Um and the third thing is um I've also been um 14:55 praying to God recently that um I wanted to know what it means to have like a continuous fellowship with God. Uh because when Jesus was praying in the garden of Gethsemane, he prayed to God to take that cup away because he don't 15:07 want to lose that fellowship with the heavenly father. Um so uh brother Olu mentioned about um uh John 8:29 in this message which says the one who sent me is with me now. The father has never left me alone for I always do what 15:22 pleases him. So if I always do what pleases my father um I can be sure that um my fellowship with God cannot be broken. Um and lastly um uh it's honor the Lord by studying the word of the Lord. Um as it says in Ezra 7:10. Um 15:38 though I was born and raised as a Christian um I struggled a lot with studying the word cons consistently uh but God has been working in me um and um trying to uh teach me to eagerly study. Yeah. Yeah. Um his word u uh and also I I 15:55 always encouraged by Philippians 2:13 which says for God is working in you giving you the desire and power to do what pleases him. Um I'm finally thankful to God and all the elders and everyone in this church for pouring out 16:06 your love, time, effort and praying for all of us for this conference. Thank you. Something that blessed me was uh from the article that we read about brokenness. Um the article actually compared the life of a worm, a life worm 16:18 versus a snake. A snake always hisses and bites back when you attack it uh which shows its unyielding self justifies always and wants its own way. a worm uh when you squash it, it does not defend itself uh which is a mark of 16:31 brokenness. And when the Lord takes you through breaking experience, Jeremy uh uh mentioned this one statement, strengthen your lookup muscle. Uh which is what I want to do. The solution is not me striving u but rather going to 16:43 the Lord when I when he's taking me through brokenness. Um and one thing that from Hebrews 12:2, uh we do this by fixing our eyes on Jesus the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Uh, I know the Lord has initiated um the 16:58 faith and now he's perfect. And how is he going to perfect? James 1 3:4 knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance and endurance have its perfect results so that you may be perfect, complete, lacking nothing. So the 17:10 testing uh leads to perfection. So I need to endure. Um allow the Lord to continue breaking me u through circumstances. And because of all this, I can quote Romans 8:28 with joy. Uh why? because Romans 8:29 because he is 17:23 conforming to his image and I don't want to settle for anything less than uh obtaining the abundant life of Christ. Um yeah, that is something that blessed me. So first I would just want to start off by saying thank you to every one of 17:36 the elders, every one of the uh the people that have contributed some effort into this conference. I um super grateful for every ounce of uh work I've seen, even the stuff I haven't seen that have gone to this conference. So, I'm 17:49 super grateful for everything that you guys have poured into us. Um, but this conference awakened something new within me. Um, it cleared up confusion within me that helped me and helps me to see clearly who the father and Jesus truly 18:01 are. I look back and see how I was before the conference and it just blows my mind. I believe once I return back home, things really won't be the same because there are many things I learned that have changed my perspective 18:13 dramatically. It was it was as if I was holding on to an idea of how God should be versus who he actually is. And I learned from many of the elders, brothers and sisters alike, bits and pieces of his character that I may have 18:26 known before or may have become even more clearly to me now. And I pray that as we wrap everything up now, we can take what we learned and take what we what truly spoke to each and every one of us. Um whether it was the first 18:39 message or the last message, but whatever truly spoke to each and every one of us. I pray that we can take it and run with it. We can be faithful with it. That so that we can be faithful with so much more in in the future as we grow 18:51 in Christ. Not just not just what we hear today, but we can take what we hear today and be faithful with it and learn more things in the future that we can be faithful with as well. But I wanted to leave off with um a verse I shared last 19:04 year in the testimonies and a verse that still impacts me today. John uh 14:26 um it says um but when the father sends send sends the advocate my representative that is the 19:23 holy spirit he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you so that I don't have to worry about if I forgot something or whether or not something has slipped my mind for he will bring it back to my remembrance 19:35 at just the right time. Thank you each and every one of you guys. Thank you to everybody for everything. This conference um I was able to experience so much encouragement, correction, conviction, support and closeness and grief, 19:52 laughter and joy. What pierced through me and blessed me the most this conference was the true understanding of what humility means and the gift such a posture offers. When I think of climbing up a high mountain and the end goal being meeting 20:10 becoming more like Jesus, I imagine that I want to lay down every weight that easily entangles me. And one of the heaviest weight is my view of self. And if I'm able to lay that down, think less of myself as humility really offers, I'm 20:28 able to climb up this mountain with the help of the Holy Spirit. Another thing that really encouraged me was the importance of how I respond to correction. I was really encouraged by uh Peter as he wrote in 1 Peter 5:6, "Therefore 20:48 humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God so that he may exalt you at the appropriate time." Brother Jeremy shared that he was the most Peter was the most corrected. He never gave up. You will reap the life of Christ if you will not 21:00 grow weary of correction. Do not faint when reproved and corrected. That was a big encouragement for me. And lastly, and lastly, the vision of Jesus eclipsed the unworthiness the woman had who poured perfume over Jesus. I do not 21:18 need to be weighed down by my unworthiness. But I can be cap captivated by the beauty of Jesus. And that automatically helps me to think less of myself. I have seven more seconds. So I want to give one more verse. Um Proverbs 13:1 says, 21:36 "Intelligent children listen to their parents, but foolish children do their own thing." So I hope that um as a wise child that I desire for my father's discipline, not as a disregard, but because he loves me. Thank you. Um yeah, I was also very uh 21:55 encouraged by this conference and I would like to thank everybody who uh especially those work behind the scenes and those who were preparing the sermons. Um just wanted to thank you very much for this time. And uh something that stood out to me was uh 22:09 one of Santo's messages. One of the 12 points that he brought was um the secret to freedom from all insecurities is to know God as your father personally. So um if I love God as my father personally, I don't need to be in 22:22 insecure in who I am because of the love he has for me. And then a verse that also encouraged me that got brought up was uh John 17:23 says uh I in them and you in me that they may be be perfected in unity so that the world may know that you sent me 22:40 and love them even as you loved me. And that just encouraged me that God loves me just as much as he loved Jesus. And um that he will do for me what he did for Jesus. And uh last thing, one of the articles um something that stuck out was 22:55 a phrase that says it is self who is shy and self-conscious. And I know that um I will struggle with self-conscious sometimes. And um it just needs God's grace to overcome that. Thank you. I was nervous to speak, but the Lord encouraged me that it is 23:13 through the word of our testimony that we overcome Satan and that it's God's will that through the church, the manifold wisdom of God is to be displayed to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. So, this time of 23:26 sharing is an opportunity to glorify God and to display his wisdom through that which he has spoken to me. And so, I want to have boldness to speak for his glory. One thing that I've often struggled with when I think about the future is feeling 23:41 inadequate. Feeling that I'm not good enough to accomplish God's purpose for my life. Whether it is in the ministry that God has prepared for me or in marriage as I think about being a husband and a father one day. And that 23:54 feeling is actually biblical. 2 Corinthians 3 says that we're not adequate in ourselves to serve God in the new covenant, but that our adequacy is from God. The Lord encouraged me about that from Genesis 26. It says there from verse 3 onward that 24:12 God spoke to Isaac and told him basically that he's going to do all that he had promised to Abraham because verse 5 it says in the margin, Abraham listened to my voice. So because Abraham listened to the voice of God, God could accomplish all of his purpose 24:31 for Abraham's life. That is the one thing that's needful for me as well. Like Jesus said to Mary in Luke 10. So yes, I am not adequate in myself, but with God, I am adequate. And the one thing that is needful is for me to stay 24:47 close to him and carefully listen to his voice. Then all of his purpose for my life will be accomplished. Thank you. Coming into this conference, the Lord has had been really opening my eyes to areas of pride and self-centerness in my 25:02 life. And I came into the conference feeling very discouraged and disqued in my heart. Yet through all my hard and stormy heart, the Lord has been so patient and faithful and has really encouraged and lifted me up through this 25:15 conference. One thing that really stood out to me and encouraged me was from one of the articles that talked about humility. The Lord really opened my eyes to see humility in a new way. Not so much as a temporary attitude that I 25:28 strive for, but a permanent lifestyle of setting the Lord continually before me. A humility that does not come from anything in myself, but entirely from being completely occupied with God in his glory. I saw that there are so many 25:42 areas in my life where God is not completely first and where I saw myself hesitating to open the door of those rooms in my heart to him. Some truths that spoke to me in this area said said that Jesus lost nothing by giving 25:57 everything up to God and that Jesus kept entrusting himself to his father and that Jesus had one and that the life this life that Jesus had was one of perfect peace and joy. I am reminded of brother Zach's encouragement that our 26:11 hidden life is what will determine whether or not we stand in the day of the storm. And I just want to share Matthew 11:29. Learn from me for I am gentle and humble in heart. Um I pray that by God's grace 26:31 I will press on to perfection in the humility of the lamb of God in my hidden life. Thank you. Uh most of what I have is u quotes from the articles and that are also part of my testimony. So Paul uses language which seems to indicate a 26:46 blameless life before God and man. When I find uh godly leaders that I that have a godly life and and follow them, I can have a godly life. My elders at my local church exemplify godliness. Another point that encouraged me from the 27:01 articles is to pray with other godly people. And we on our part have only to get into a right relationship with him and we shall see his power being demonstrated in our hearts and lives and service. Uh this can be very costly. 27:17 It is always self who gets irritable and envious. This is why we need to deny ourselves. Another point in the articles is to call upon the name of the Lord Jesus and to walk in the light of God. The following question uh challenged me. Does he 27:36 preach the word in season? Does he preach the word and is he ready in season and out of season? It is conscientiousness arising from the sense of God's presence. The wish to please him. The fear of offending him. We can 27:52 apply this in every word we speak and in our money dealings. If we could actually see what God is doing in the lives of the very people whom we often criticize and condemn, we would be utterly astonished. The more we walk with God, the closer our union with 28:08 him, the more deeply we partake of his nature, the more we will proh possess his gentleness and compassion of spirit. Uh the the helps me focus on my own need or the following helps me focus on my own need. spiritual immaturity is always swift and 28:27 sharp in judgment and thanks that God is too um lenient. Uh good evening everyone. Um I've been so blessed with this conference so far and I wanted to thank everyone who helped set this thing up. Um I've been convicted so much in 28:40 the things for the past few days. But here's some things that blessed me. The first one was in the article we read about humility and it's that humility is not manifest in our prayers but in our dealings with other people. So for me 28:51 it's not measured in the amount of times I can sneak in. I'm a sinner in my prayers, but when someone insults me, for example, it's how I react or if I retaliate or not. Um, another thing was that humility is not a feeling, but it's 29:04 a spirit that's constant. Um, another thing I've been blessed with is God's faithfulness. Yesterday in our songs, we sang the goodness of God, and I can testify honestly that his goodness really has chased me down. No matter how 29:14 much I've tried to wrigle away or in my own unbelief, he will not let me go. And one evidence is that he brought me safely here. Um, and I know that according to Romans 5'8 that Christ saved me when I was a sinner and that 29:25 he's a good father. And that's from Matthew 7. And I'm encouraged that after he shown me these amazing things that if I really turn to him for refuge from my old ways of life, he will not let me go and he will not he will hold me fast. 29:37 That he is my shepherd because if he's shown me so much um when I didn't want to serve him, how much more now that I want to give my life completely for him. Um, finally what Mr. said that it's a liberating thought that I can't do 29:49 anything of eternal value. Um so I don't have to strive like I can't go home and just grip my teeth and try to do everything on my own but I really have to seek for the Holy Spirit to overcome. Um one line from a song we sang 29:59 yesterday blessed me. Um once was painful trying and now it's perfect trust. Thank you. Coming into this conference, I I felt pretty good about my Christian walk. Obviously, I wasn't perfect, but I felt like as long as I 30:12 was trying or trying my best to live a godly life, I was on the right track. After listening to the messages of the elders and reading the articles, it became very evident that I relied heavily on myself trying to run this 30:24 Christian race on my own strength. I was satisfied with trying to live a pretty good Christian life rather than depending on Jesus to lead me to a complete life of victory. As God began to show me just how self-dependent I 30:36 was, I started to compare myself to others and get discouraged. I would look at how much other people around me had grown spiritually while I had squandered opportunities. A part of me was inspired by others devotion and passion to run 30:48 this race. But in the back of the mind, in the back of my mind, there was a voice that said, "You are so behind. You are so far behind spiritually, it is impossible for you." Through brother Audrey's message and the new song that I 31:01 learned we sang last night, when God ran, I realized just how much God wants me to get back up and run this race. It's It's really awesome the way God works because on that one slide of the song, um it ended with a statement about 31:15 how I only saw God run once and it kind of left with like a brief like cliffhanger before going to the next slide. And in my mind, since I didn't know the song, I thought like, oh, maybe it's something like like Jesus ran from 31:26 temptation. So maybe it's like something like that. But when the next slide talked about how he runs after me, it just hit me. The voice that says no hope is of Satan who wants to keep me down in discouragement. The voice that says, 31:39 "Come back. I love you," is from Jesus. Part of the statement in my head that it's impossible for me, is true. It is absolutely impossible for me to live a life pleasing to God when I rely on my own strength. But when I helplessly 31:51 depend on him to guide me, it is not only possible, but it becomes a joyful rest. I pray that through God's strength in relying on his Holy Spirit, I can live a life pleasing to him, not only for the next couple weeks, but for the 32:03 rest of my life. Amen. Good evening. I'd first like to thank everyone here for their support of this gathering. A recurring topic that I am reflecting on is so and spiritual and recognizing that it can be a millimeter difference 32:19 between the two. The word of God separates spiritual and soish. Hebrews 4:12. For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit of both joints and marrow and able to judge 32:38 the thoughts and intention of the heart. I learned here that it's a dangerous thing if I say I am a tree rooted in Christ. I interpret that being like a tree could be so. A branch though is connected to other branches as we heard and branches have 32:55 no ma have no names and branches are in submission. The moment I stray from the Bible, there's a chance I'll be solish. And during our Q&A time, I heard that a sooulish relationship can never last the test of time. So, I shouldn't be 33:13 discouraged if I reach out to an old friend or extended family member and do not hear back or if I realize that most of the relationships that do last are the spiritually based ones. Thank you. All right. Uh sometime in my life u I 33:28 catch myself struggling with dwelling on the my past and worrying about my future. In this conference I was blessed because I was reminded that Satan was defeated and he don't have no power over me because Jesus 33:46 defeat had defeated him on the cross for me. I was also taught if I am rooted in God's word and God's plan for my life more it will help me to not worry about what Satan says to me or about me. I 34:05 pray this that I remember Jesus is everything to me and myself is nothing to help me remember I am nothing. I wrote down Luke n Luke 9:23 and it says, "If he says to them all, if any man come 34:24 after me, let him deny his himself and take up his cross daily and follow me." And then I said, "If I am worried, this verse helps me." Colossians 3:2, it says, "Set your affections on things 34:42 above and nots on this earth." Thank you. Hi everybody. Um big thanks to me too for hosting me and having me here. Um to God be the glory for that. One of the elders came up to me um the second day of the conference and asked how it 34:59 was going for me and I told him I felt like I was being burned alive by the Holy Spirit like I was a piece of charcoal turning into a diamond. Here the mirror was held up right to my face and I realized I was a double-minded 35:12 woman. Then came the hike. Sitting among my fellow brothers and sisters, the sword was piercing deeper and deeper into my heart. Songs and hymns were being sung, but they only echoed in my mind. Questions flooded my mind. How can 35:28 I burn my idols to the ground? Sacrifice my will for God's. Then all of a sudden, I look up and I see and hear the laughter of children splashing in the river singing, "The fruit of the spirit's not a coconut." I realized I 35:41 had a choice to make. Allow Satan to drown me in my own filth, or accept I am helpless without Christ. understand that I am the clay and he is the potter and run the race set before me. So I ran I ran down to that river with the kids and 35:58 chose to be happy in the Lord and march onward towards the cross and know God is refining us in his fire day by day. I wanted to share a hymn that um means a lot to me. And since we are up in the mountains, sometimes on the mount where 36:13 the sun shines so bright, God leads his dear children along. Sometimes in the valley, in the darkness of night, God leads his dear children along. Some through the waters, some through the flood, some through the fire, but all 36:28 through the blood. Some through great sorrow, but God will give a song in the night season all of the day long. Thank you. Yeah, I thank God for allowing me to attend this conference. I also thank all the all those who have organized and 36:41 spoke in the conference. In the last few days, I was encouraged to have faith that God will accomplish his wonderful plans for me. He will lead me to a life of victory from sin to be like Jesus and build a godly family that glorifies God. 36:55 All his promises are true and by believing he will make them true in me no matter what my circumstances or how my feelings are today. In this context, I heard in the sermons that God made Joseph as a second pharaoh in Egypt 37:08 after two full years in jail. In the pilgrimage progress, Christian could escape the doubting castle by the key of the promise of God. What God did for Jesus, he will do for me. I'm also encouraged by how God has raised up 37:22 godly families and in seeing how free and active the children are here at RCF. In the coming days, I want to persevere in faith to receive all that God has for me. I believe that God will help me to do this. Amen. Yeah. Hey everybody. Um 37:38 yeah, probably my main takeaway from uh this conference would be realizing more deeply just how much I need Jesus and the Holy Spirit's power and to be broken and dependent on him and his strength. I heard so many challenging things this 37:51 week and I think the Lord has shown me just how much I need his help in all the areas that I struggle in because I can't overcome struggles without with sin on my own. One thing I was challenged by was in one of the articles called 38:02 brokenness where it talks about being broken and dying to self. There's a paragraph that I'd like to read. Uh it says, "And as we look honestly at our Christian lives, we can see how much of this self there is in each of us. It 38:15 is often self who tries to live the Christian life. The mere fact that we use the word try indicates that it is a self who has a responsibility. Yes, this is a challenging this is a challenge for me to just yield my life 38:28 to Christ completely and trust that he will finish the work that he started and that he can keep me from stumbling and make me stay in the presence of his glory blameless and with great joy. And so I want to live out the verse in 38:39 Proverbs 3:5 where it says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your understanding." So thank you church. Good evening church family. Um, thank you for hosting us and thank you for investing in our lives. Um, it's 38:50 an eternal blessing. One of the articles from the booklet that spoke to me about how being broken is both God's work and ours. And one of the other messages was about how my spiritual growth is directly related to my attitude toward correction. I praise 39:08 and thank God for this year's messages and articles. It has stripped away every excuse that I have used so far to like not overcome. Whether it be I don't know if God loves me enough or I don't know if this is for me. It's stripped it all 39:22 away for me and it's replaced it with praise and a deeper vision to seek God and his glory. Having learned the true meaning of humility in the light of his glory, it's changed everything for me. I'm also deeply encouraged to hear 39:37 about the woman in the book of Luke and how her unworthiness took her closer to Jes drew her closer to Jesus. This year I am convicted and assured that Christian life is a one of power. Like brother AJ shared, no matter how many 39:52 bridges we've burnt in the past, we have a key to life. I thank God for defeating Satan and may I continue loving the truth and glorify God with everything in my life. Amen. Hello everyone. Uh my name is DK and just so happy and 40:08 grateful to be here and I thank all the elders and the other singles and really just all the work that was done in the background. And one thing that I've taken away from this conference is the gift of correction and humility. Before 40:20 I came to this conference, I believe that I was fairly humble and on a good track. I soon realized that I was not humble. From the messages and the conversation, I found that pride is a follic that makes us thinks humility but 40:32 it lacks fresh fragrance. I understood the depth of my pride when I corrected when I was corrected in a small way by the Lord. I felt the urge to justify and to place blame on others and not myself. But this was wrong. I was wrong. From 40:45 the message, I found that correction is a gift and knowing and getting closer to Jesus is a treasure. Through correction, I know I can grow closer to the Lord. For it says those he loves he rebukes. Hebrews 12:6. Correction is not a sign 40:58 that God is done with me but a confirmation that he seeks to fill me. Correction is a blessing. It should be faith with joy, not despair. My hope is in Jesus who can save me from my pride and fill me with the Holy Spirit. Thank 41:10 you all. This was a great encouragement. I think if uh Moses were living in the new covenant, he would put me to shame as a Christian. He had such a burning desire to see the Lord, but he was not allowed to because he was under the old 41:24 covenant. Now, in the new covenant, the spirit has promised to reveal Jesus to me, as it says in John 16:14. Yet, this is not as burning of a passion in my life as it was in Moses's. The outlook for me after this conference is that I 41:38 want to truly cherish the true blessing of the new covenant. That my birthright is to actually and literally see Jesus's reactions to the temptations I face because he faced the exact same ones as me. I want to have a burning desire that 41:52 the the spirit should show me Jesus's life as a 19-year-old, the heart of a true servant that he had every day of his life and how he treated all his family is more important than himself in practical ways. Jesus could have come 42:04 down from heaven as an adult to solely die on the cross, but he came as a baby because he wanted to make sure that I had an example to follow. So, I am calling Jesus's 33 years of denying himself a waste if I do not bother to 42:16 ask the spirit to show me how he lived. Truly the mystery of godliness is in Christ revealed in the flesh as it says in 1 Timothy 3 3:16 and as it has been said I cannot live and see thy face Lord so let me die and see thy face. Hi 42:32 family. It's so good to be here again. Um so many things have blessed me from this conference and I'm truly so grateful to be here again. Um thank you so much to everyone who made this possible. One of the main things I'm 42:43 coming away with is to truly love humility and to truly love correction and discipline. I'm finding that the true that these two truly go hand in hand. And Jesus has really convicted me of the lack I have in this area and 42:54 shown me that I have not been loving correction, but instead fearing it. I was really blessed this morning with the example in the Bible that Brother Jeremy brought out this morning of the centurion and the woman. Both mourned 43:04 and both were sad, but one mourned their circumstance and the other mourned their sin. I'm encouraged going forward to truly seek God for this kind of humility, to love correction, and to mourn sin when Jesus reveals it, either 43:16 to me personally or through some godly authority in my life. Going home, I want more than ever to always keep Jesus before me. And as Psalm 16:8 promises, to set the Lord before me always, and because he is at my right hand, I will 43:29 not be shaken. Thanks. Hello everyone. Um, my time here has been probably one of the most spiritual beneficial times of my entire life. So, I'm thankful for all the incredible people who made this possible and who took me into their 43:44 homes. Um, I'm very thankful for all the elders and it's incredible to have spiritual authority and fathers who invest time in my life and clear my doubts. I'm very thankful for them and for all the brothers and sisters who 43:55 I've shared fellowship with. I'm very thankful and it's an encouragement to be able to run this race alongside with you. Um what I got out of this conference and what stood out to me uh was um Uncle Olu uh and what he shared 44:09 on the fact that time is running out and it's easy for me to think that I'm young and I have I have my whole life ahead of me but um no moment should be taken for granted and I must set the Lord continually before me. And then also 44:25 what Uncle Jeremy shared today on that faith comes from loving correction. And so I have to change my attitude towards that. And as Uncle Sil said, I have to see it as an exciting invitation to become more like Christ. In closing, u 44:39 sorry, in closing, I would like to read the verse Jude 1 24. Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to make you stand in the presence of his glory, blameless with joy, great joy. And as we just sang, Jesus knows all 44:54 about our struggles. He will guide me and all of us till the day is done. Amen. Thank you all. Yeah, I just want to thank you all the elders that and the brothers and sisters that made this possible. The conference has been very 45:07 encouraging to me. Uh what really stuck out to me was in one of the articles from the this conference, the second the second sentence of the paragraph last paragraph on page eight. The question is, can the world really see 45:25 the humility of Jesus in me? This qu question really stuck out to me because I want to strive to to come to the point that when I meet someone while walking down the street or wherever it may be that they can see the humility of Jesus 45:45 in me by the way that I deal with them and the other people around me and that it's not by my own strength but by the strength uh by but by but through Christ who strengthens me and I just thank you. Hello church. Um so nice to meet 46:04 everybody. All of you have been a blessing to me from the smallest to the greatest way. Thank you for all the labor that you have done in work and in prayers for this gathering. Um my hope for this gathering was to get rooted and 46:17 anchored in the fear of God. I didn't grow up fearing God. However, I heard always that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom as it says in Proverbs 1:7. So I really cannot acquire wisdom and understanding unless I am 46:30 rooted in the fear of God. In Dallas church we have been going over through proverbs and I have been really convicted as to how much I have been missing out. Proverbs chapter 1 27 28 and 29 verse says when your dread comes 46:45 like a storm and your calamity comes like a whirlwind when distress and anguish come upon you then they will call on me but I will not answer. They will seek me diligently but they will not find me because they hated knowledge 46:58 and did not choose the fear of the Lord. Notice how fearing God is a choice. I tried to find what it really means to me. And um I like how it says in the article that was sh shared with us. It says that the love of God constrains us 47:12 to obey his commands but the fear of God makes us conscience to obey them. A verse that was shared and blessed me was from Nemiah 5 and 15. It says because of my fear of God I did not act that way but because of my conscience I did not 47:29 act that way. Um there is another line in that article that challenged me was let the fear of God or the conscience regulate our daily communion and walk. Let a sense of responsibility toward God and our fellow men be ever on edge. I 47:45 really hope and pray that all of us will be firmly rooted in the fear of God. Hello. Um I wanted to share some of my reflections on the article that we read on humility which gave me some new light and also confirmed some things for me 48:01 and that being that humility does not come from looking at my own sinfulness but looking at Jesus and I found that in my life whenever I look within it just brings condemnation and it usually manifests in a few ways like not wanting 48:16 to go to church not wanting to share and just being quiet and sort of sit in the back uh and also just being gloomy. This was especially the case when I was uh going through a habitual sin that I was struggling with. Then one day I came 48:32 across Micah 6 7-8 which says that will the Lord be delighted with thousands of rams or with 10,000 rivers of oil? Shall I present my firstborn for my acts of rebellion, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? 48:51 He has told you, oh man, what is good? And what does the Lord require of you except to be just and to love kindness and to walk humbly with your God. So this kind of just simplified things for me that I don't have to pay for my own 49:05 sins by hanging my head down and being gloomy and just sort of mulling over it, but just look to him and turn to him. And when I did that, that burden was lifted off and he end, you know, ended up giving me some victory there. So, uh, 49:19 also a big thank you and God bless you to everybody who helped, uh, set this up and had us in our in, uh, their homes. Thank you. Uh, so I want to start from the context of Hebrews 12 6 to8 uh, which says that without discipline, we 49:33 are like illegitimate children and not sons and whomever who whomever God loves, he disciplines. So this disciplines can this this discipline can come from the season of drought we were seeing in session one. Uh this can be 49:46 anything like uh through like tough jobs, situations, hard authorities, relationships. He he allows us to go through this uh season for a reason. So I would like to share something from through the Bible. I was blessed few 49:59 months ago from the book of Habacook. So God shows the prophet that he's going to allow Judah to be captured by the Babylonians. that God himself was going to raise up to allow Judah to go under captivity. So, Habacook did not 50:11 understand what uh he just heard. So, in chapter Habacook chapter 1 uh verse 5, it says that uh for I am accomplishing a work in your days or you would not believe even if you were told. So God accomplished his purpose even in 50:29 subjection to the Chaldians. Right from the time of judges until their captivity to Babylon, for 700 years there was a great idol worship in Israel. Many prophets tried to warn about it for 700 years but they did not repent. But 50:42 through captivity uh he did accomplish in 70 years what he could not do in 700 years. So through the captivity the Jews learned to depend completely on God. They never worshiped an idol for for the last 2,500 years. That is still today. 50:56 Sometimes God's best answer is not deliverance but go through the discipline. Sometimes the season of drought can be tough but at the end of the tunnel there is always the purpose of God which he's trying to accomplish. 51:07 So as we heard in the morning uh in acts chapter 26 18 uh if we get a word of correction or discipline it is to turn us from darkness to light. Uh so the book of Habacook starts uh by the prophet questioning God and ends with 51:20 him praising God after seeing the sovereignity of God and the reward of living a life of faith. I want to end my testimony with Habacook 3:1 17 and 18. Even if the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the wines. If 51:35 the yield of the olive fails and the and the fields produce no food. Even if the flock disappears from the fold and there is no cattle in the stalls. Yet I will triumph in the Lord. I will rejoice in the God of my salvation. May this be 51:50 true in our lives. Amen. Consider how all lack of love, all indifference to feelings and weaknesses of others, all sharp and hasty utterances and judgments which are often excused under the plea of being straightforward and honest, all 52:05 manifestations of temper, touchiness, and irritation. All feelings of bitterness and estrangement, all have their root in nothing but pride. A pride that ever seeks man's honor and personal advancement. This paragraph comes out of an article 52:20 called humility by Andrew Murray Murray which we read over the throughout the last week there. Um the humility of Jesus is something I want to wholeheartedly think after. And everything in the paragraph from lack of love to feelings of bitterness and 52:35 estrangement was like it's like knives poking into me saying you'll never make it. Um, but praise be to God that Jesus's walk on earth was recorded again and again, that I may read of his humility to learn more of it, and that I 52:51 have the Holy Spirit to perfect the humility in me. Something that um also really blessed me uh as we were on the hike was seeing Brother Santosh as he was playing with the children in the in the water. Um, and the thought came to my mind that he 53:11 is a wonderful spiritual father. And then it wasn't long after that the verse Matthew 7:11 also came to mind that says um, if ye then being evil know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your 53:30 father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? and being able to tie that with seeking humility blessed me so much. Thank you all. So, um, from the first time that I got saved, I knew it was a very important 53:46 thing to hear the voice of God, or else I could be deceived, uh, just trying to look in the word. Uh, in John 10:27, it says that his sheep hear his voice. So, I knew I had to hear his voice or I couldn't be a sheep. Um, so I went years 54:02 seeking how to hear his voice and asking him for help and prayer. And um, eventually he did teach me. He revealed um, he gave me revelation. And one of the first things he taught me was how to abide in him. That was one of the things 54:15 that I worried about. And he taught me through John 15, the whole chapter. And and before the Bible was more boring. And I was looking for like it said of the Pharisees, look, you look for life in the scriptures. And but I then found 54:29 my life in him and like in first Peter 2, I started craving his word and I tasted that he was good through the things that he shared with me and the promises that came true. Um that said, when he tells me certain things, I found 54:46 a pattern later on as he expected me to get stronger. It led to initial confusion. Um, I would see that like in Matthew chapter 4 when Jesus was te uh tested after hearing what God told him about him being his son that the devil 55:02 said if you're the son of God this if you're the son of God that I found the real temptation under all of those was to doubt what God had said. And I found a lot of circumstances and people trying to do the same for me. But I was more 55:15 encouraged lately that um trying to take what circumstances look like and doubting what God says. never glorifies him. Um, and that uh it's not good to be like um Balum or or Lot and use uh worldly wisdom to try and find the best 55:33 for myself. That's just pain relief. Um that's all. Just never doubt what God says. That's all. Good evening everyone. Firstly, I want to express my thanks to everyone who helped to put the conference together and serve behind the 55:46 scenes. It's been a real time of blessing and refreshment to me. I want to share how the Lord helped me and gave me victory in the middle of the praise time last night just as we were starting the first few songs I was struggling 56:00 with and having some like internally pressuring and and burdensome thoughts and because I was thinking about those things I was sinking into into discouragement and being focused on myself and even thinking about others in 56:16 a way that wasn't was kind of judgmental And even as as we're singing, I'm realizing that I need to battle these thoughts and try to worship the Lord, but I was trying to lean on my own strength and just kind of push them 56:29 aside or stop thinking about it. And it wasn't working. And the Lord was prompting me that that I needed to look to him and lean on him. So, I was kind of doing that, but it was like I was going back and forth and I was still 56:43 struggling. And this continued through the first several songs. And then I think it was after the first several songs, there was a brief time where brother Sanders was was leading us in in in prayer. And during that time, the 56:55 Lord brought that verse in Isaiah which says that those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength and mount up with wings like eagles to my mind. And I just in that moment, I just started sort of calling out to him to lift me up. And 57:10 all and almost immediately all those thoughts and all those burdens just just just went away. And for the rest of the praise time, I was really able to enter into enter into worship and even battle. If those thoughts come, I had the strength to 57:25 overcome them in that moment. So, I was really blessed by that and grateful for all the worship times. Thank you all. I just wanted to say thank you to everybody um both the elders and all the people that have hosted us and put uh 57:38 help put on um this conference year after year. Um it's been such a great blessing to me. Uh this week I've heard so many great words um so on so many great topics especially about humility and keeping a clear conscience. I just 57:52 wanted to share two things that have encouraged and convicted me. The first is uh in Matthew 7:26 which says, "Everyone who hears these words of mine and does not act on them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the 58:03 sand." I want to take these truths home and actually put them into my life and not just um put them on the back burner. Um, but on the flip side of that, when I think about all that I've heard this week, it's easy to think that it can get 58:17 overwhelming and um it can be like, "What if I fail? What if all these things just go to waste?" And um I don't remember them in the time of temptation. Um but then I remembered a verse in 2 Corinthians 6 that says, "Today is the 58:32 day of salvation." Um, and that's such a great encouragement to me because I can see that um when I when I really need um the word of the Lord, he will um he will take me and he will um give me victory because that's in his will for me. Um I 58:49 don't have to wait even a second to hold take hold of his incredible grace and mercy. Amen. Hello everyone. Thank you for having us. It has been a blessing to be here. I learned so much but I pray that this will not all remain just head 59:03 knowledge for me as I thank God for this opportunity to share what he has been speaking to me that being it doesn't matter how much I hear these rich truths I need to apply it in my life with the help of the holy spirit who the father 59:16 promises to give to those that ask I'm encouraged to keep asking one truth that was reemphasized to me again and again is to keep entrusting myself to the father as Jesus did when others reviled him I struggle with the entitlement 59:29 attitude of why must I not fight back or defend myself. But this has been an my invitation into Christlikkeness to not revile back or justify myself but to have a heart of purity and rest. Another is a prayer that I'm encouraged to pray. 59:45 It was shared by an elder during the Q&A. When I'm taken down with emotions and feelings of sadness or discouragement, I can pray this prayer the psalmist prayed. Make the soul of your servant joyful. For to you, Lord, I 59:57 lift up my soul. Psalm 86:4. Thank you. So, Ulu said something that stuck with me, and that is that we are all going to die one day and to have a fruitful life, live a life that pleases God every day. Most of us, most of the time, I think of 1:00:11 pleasing God in more of a broad sense, like have I pleased him this month or have I pleased him this year. But I really like how he said that every day I should try to please him. It gave me a good perspective on just trying to 1:00:22 please God in the little things day by day. A couple things from the conference that especially stood out to me. Uh, one thing was how brother Olu shared that the only thing that makes life worthwhile is constantly setting the 1:00:33 Lord before me. Uh, do what we can while God gives us opportunity in life. And that that reminded me of Ecclesiastes 9:10, which says, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might." And in James 4:14, it says, "For what is 1:00:48 your life? It is it is even a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. Uh God wants me to do everything to him. Uh God wants me to do everything to him, little things and big things. And lately it's known in my mind 1:01:01 how fast the years are just passing by. And another thing Olu shared was how you know we're going to leave everything behind. Family, money, possessions, friends, everybody. So if I'm putting my hope in these things, I'll get 1:01:12 disappointed one day because all these things are going to get shaken. And that reminded me of Hebrews uh 12:28 which said which says therefore since we are receiving a kingdom which can't be shaken let us have grace by which we may 1:01:25 serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. And then one one other thing that really stood out to me was what Santos shared how it says God's divine nature is the most valuable thing in the world. And that's something I really 1:01:37 want to remember when whenever temptations and desires for other things come in and how it's it's been on my mind a lot the last few months how it's God's will for me always to have rivers of living water flowing and many of the 1:01:49 things I heard in this conference have really encouraged me a lot in that and I want I want all those things to become a reality in the next year. Thank you. [Music]
