If there's [music] ever trouble coming up with reasons to praise and thank God, 5:42 let's just think of the cross. Let's just survey the wondrous crosses [music] we're going to sing now and how he's shed those drops of blood in Gethsemane and how all the way through [music] Calvary Jesus suffered and died and bled 5:55 for us so that that [music] distance that we had created by our sin might be covered that we [music] might come to the father not to God our creator but God our father. Let's survey the wondrous [music] cross this morning and 6:08 let's give him praise. And [singing] I serve [music] the one [singing and music] cross on which [singing] 6:27 the prince [music] of glory died. [music] My [singing] rich came. [music] I can [singing and music] 6:46 lose and [music] for content [singing] all [music] I [singing] pray for [music] more 7:07 that [music] I [singing] your bones saving [music and singing] the death of [music and singing] Christ my God. [music] All [singing] 7:29 the [music] great things that [music and singing] I s [music] [singing] [music] [music] 7:57 Promise [singing] is [music] [singing] sweet. Sorrow [music] [singing] and love may [music] go [singing] 8:17 down [music] to such love. >> [singing and music] >> and sorrow. [singing] All [music] those 8:36 so rich [music] I [singing] [music] of [music and singing] nature [music] 8:59 that were a great [music] so far [singing] to small [music] [singing] soy. [music] [singing] >> [music and singing] 9:23 >> demons [singing] my [music] soul my heart my own [music] love [singing] so amazing [music] so [singing] 9:44 divine [music] >> [singing] >> Deep my soul my [singing and music] [music and singing] >> may it be father that we never forget 10:04 Gethsemane Lord we never forget Calvary where Jesus bled for us Lord where [music] he suffered Lord where he groaned on the tree because of the vain things that charm us Lord the vain things [music] that charm charm me, 10:17 Lord. As we sang, we sang it as a prayer, Lord. We we want to sacrifice all the vain things that charm us, [music] Lord, through his blood. Help us, Lord Jesus, to live faithful to you. Help us to always [music] live in the 10:29 memory, Lord, of of what you did for us in Gethsemane, of what you did for us in Calvary. Lord, help us to take sins seriously, Lord. Even [music] the small ones, Lord, even the little foxes, the bitter thoughts, Lord, the gossip, um 10:41 [music] any small things that torment us, Lord. Help us not to not to be charmed by those vain things, Lord. And help [music] us to remember. Give us your Holy Spirit, Lord. We pray, Lord Jesus, just as you remain pure, we can 10:53 be pure as well. [music] Help us, Lord, even as we remember what you did for us, the great price you paid for us, Lord, on Calvary. Every [music] time we think of the cross, Lord, remind us. Give us a new revelation, Lord, of what you 11:04 suffered, how [music] that separation from the father, Lord, broke you, how you groaned on that tree, Lord. Help [music] us, Lord, to take sin seriously. Amen. My [singing] worth [music] is not in what I own, 11:23 [music] not [singing] in the strength of flesh and bone, but [singing] in the [music] costly words of love [singing] at the cross. [music] My worth [singing] 11:44 is not in scale or [music] in [singing] win or lose in [music] pride or shame. But [singing] in the blood of Christ the flow 12:01 at the cross. [music and singing] I [music and singing] rejoice in my redeemer. British [music] treasure, wellspring [singing] of my soul. I [music and singing] 12:22 will trust in him no other. My [music and singing] soul is satisfied in him alone. [singing] As summer of flowers, we [music and singing] fade and die. Thank you [singing and music] and beauty 12:42 hurry. [singing] But life eternal [music] calls to us at the cross. [music] I [music and singing] will not boast in 13:00 wild or [singing] human wisdom [music] speed. But I [music and singing] will boast in knowing Christ at the cross. [music and singing] I [music and singing] rejoice in my 13:24 redeemer. greatest treasure [music] wells free [singing] of my soul. I [music and singing] will trust in him the other. My soul is satisfied 13:41 in him alone. [music and singing] Two wonders here [music and singing] that I confess my [singing] worth and my unworthiness. [music] My value fixed my risome [music] 14:03 [singing] at the cross. I [singing] rejoice [music] in my redeemer. Greatest treasure [singing and music] will spring of my soul. I will [music] trust in him. No 14:24 [singing] other my soul is satisfied [music and singing] in him alone. I [singing] rejoice in my redeemer. Greatest treasure [music] 14:41 wells spring [singing] of my soul. I [singing] will trust in him no other. [music] My soul [singing] is satisfied in him alone. [music] >> In Ruth 4:14, the women said to Naomi, 15:02 "Blessed be [music] the Lord who has not left you this day without a redeemer. And may his name [music] be renowned in Israel." And that redeemer is a small R. It's talking about Boaz and how he [music] redeemed Ruth. But we have a 15:15 capital R redeemer this day. Jesus whom we just sang about [music] who gave everything for us more than Boaz could ever [music] have given Ruth our savior has given for us. And it's in this redeemer that we boast [music] this 15:29 morning as we just sang. And if there's anything else that we've placed our confidence in, young people, children, if you placed your confidence in your talents, your [music] abilities, even your parents, even good things, let's 15:41 switch our focus this morning to [music] our rock and our redeemer, Jesus, capital R, redeemer. Capital [music] R, rock. And let's sing to him. [music] >> Oh Lord, [singing] my rock and my [music] redeemer. >> [singing] 16:01 >> greatest treasure of my longing [music] soul. [singing] My Lord, like you [music] there is no other [singing] [music] true delight 16:19 is found in you alone. [singing] [music] Your grace [singing] wells too deep to [music] fathom. Your love [singing] exceeds [music] the heavens 16:37 reach. Your truth [music and singing] I found of perfect wisdom. My highest [singing and music] good and my unending need. Oh Lord, [singing and music] 16:58 my rock and my redeemer, strong defender [singing and music] of my weary heart. My sword [singing and music] 17:14 to fight the good deceiver [music] and my shield [music] against [singing] his hatful. My song [music and singing] when enies 17:32 surround me. [music] In my place, you [singing] suffer and die. [music] You ro [singing] 18:33 the grave [music] and death our coner. [singing] You broke [music] my bones so of sin [singing] and shros. You rose [singing and music] 18:48 the grave and death are coner. You broke [singing] [music] my bonds of sin and shame. Oh [singing] Lord, [music] my rock and 19:06 my redeemer. [music] May all [singing] my days bring gloryy [music] to [singing] your name. May all my days bring gloryy [singing] to [music] 19:24 your name. >> May our eyes be fixed on Jesus who is at the right hand of the [music] father. He's not on the cross anymore. He's risen. He's ascended and he's seated at [music] the right hand of the father. If there's any fiery darts of the en enemy 19:41 that seem too [music] hard for you to overcome, that have that have beat you down over and over. If you feel that you have a ruined life, we have a wonderful [music] savior, redeemer, whose grace is sufficient in every one of our trials, 19:55 [music] even the darkest ones, even in the darkest nights. Let's look to him. In Christ alone, our [music] hope is found. In Christ [singing] alone, my hope is [music] found. 20:12 He is my [singing] light, my strength, my soul. [music] His [singing] corner soul is solid ground [music] firm through the fiercest round and so [music] what [singing] heights of love. 20:34 What depths [music] of peace? When [singing] fears are still, when striving [music] sees, my comforter, [singing] my all in it all. [music] Here in the [singing] love of Christ 20:53 I stand [music] in Christ [singing] the Lord who to [music] flesh fullness [singing] of God in helpless [music] way. 21:11 His gift [singing] of love and righteousness [music and singing] stormed by the ones he came to save [music] till [singing] on that cross as Jesus [music] died. 21:30 The ra [singing] was satisfied [music] for every sin [singing] on him was laid. Here in [singing and music] the death of Christ I [music] in the ground [singing] 21:54 his body laid. Light of the world by darkness [music] slay and bursting forth in glorious [singing and music] name. Up from the grave he [music] rose 22:13 [singing] again. And as he stands in victory, [singing] [music] since Christ has lost his grip on me, for I [music and singing] am his 22:31 and he is mine. [music] [singing] with the precious blood of Christ. [music] No guilt and love, [singing] no [music] fear in death. 22:49 This is the power of Christ in me. [music] A [singing] life for to find a way. Jesus [music and singing] commands my destiny. [music] 23:08 Power of hell. [singing] No ste [music and singing] me from his hand till he [music] returns or [singing] calls me home. 23:26 Here in [music] the power of Christ, [singing] no sin, no power, no [music] power of hell. [singing] No sche can ever [singing] block me from [music] his hand 23:44 till he returns or calls [music and singing] me home. Here in the power of Christ [music] I'll [singing] stand. [music]
