The central message is that humanity is separated from God by sin, and good deeds cannot atone for it. The only solution is the perfect sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who lived a sinless life and died for our sins, paying the penalty. Through His resurrection, God not only forgives us (justification) but also offers to live with us to help us live righteously, ultimately defeating death and the devil.
