0:00 Jesus sat down in the temple and taught the people. We follow his example. There's a little word in the book of Jude. Where he says, Jude by the way was the 0:17 brother of Jesus Christ. But when he introduces himself I mean, if you were the brother of Jesus, wouldn't you like to let everybody know that you were his younger brother and you grew up with him in Nazareth? 0:35 Sort of put a hint in somewhere. He doesn't do that. Jude, a born servant of Jesus Christ. That's what he was. He was in a relationship with Jesus which far transcended his earthly relationship. He didn't know Jesus after 0:53 the flesh anymore. It's one of the conditions of discipleship by the way. That you hate your father, mother, brother, sister. Not that we don't care for them, but we don't make that fleshly bond more important than our spiritual 1:09 relationship. But he says here I was verse three, I was making every effort to write to you about our common salvation. In other words, what Jude originally had in his mind was to write something like the book of Romans. 1:28 You know, explanation of salvation. It's very difficult to know the dates in which all these books were written. I mean, there's a lot of speculation when you read history. But remember, they never had a New Testament like we have. 1:44 And we may say, well, what's the need to write Romans again when But remember, in those days the people didn't know what Paul wrote over there and how much it was circulated. And so, Jude had a burden to write about salvation. 2:02 And obviously the Holy Spirit prompted him not to do that because the Holy Spirit knew that Paul was writing on that. But he says, "Then I felt the necessity." To me there's a great lesson there that when I think of doing something 2:18 or writing something to someone or writing a letter to be listening to the Holy Spirit and say, "Lord, is that what you want me to speak about or write about?" Very often I face that when I'm going to speak in a meeting. 2:33 Uh I feel the necessity to speak on something and the Holy Spirit says, "No, not that." So that's what he felt at that time that he wanted to speak on salvation and then suddenly he felt an urge to write to you appealing 2:47 that you contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. You know, our theme, as I said yesterday, was standing true to God in a day of compromise. And we are living in that day of compromise 3:05 at this time. And we were speaking about how Noah stood true to God and Moses stood true to God. But here he's speaking about the faith that was delivered to the saints and how there's a lot of conflict around that faith. People trying to compromise it, 3:24 change it, change the gospel message, change the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints. And Jude is inspired by the Holy Spirit to tell people to stand up for it. Contend earnestly, fight for it. We must be willing to fight 3:42 for the faith that is delivered to the saints. So there are certain aspects of this new covenant faith which I I like to share with you. Things that were not known or emphasized in the old covenant. And I find a great need 4:00 in Christendom today to earnestly contend for the new covenant faith that was delivered to the saints. Jesus when he took the cup, you remember, on the last supper. It's the first time he used the word new covenant. He never used it in his entire 4:17 life. But he says, "This is my blood of the new covenant." And there he was pointing out there was a completely new agreement that God was writing with man. And this is what George uh Paul Jude is saying. Fight for it. Don't allow these 4:36 preachers to take God's people back to the old covenant. And a lot of it is happening today with the prosperity gospel. Taking people back to the old covenant to Deuteronomy 28 and to Malachi 3, pay your tithes or otherwise God will curse you. And many 4:51 things back to the Old Testament. And Jude is saying in the end of the first century, contend earnestly for the faith delivered to the saints. So, there are a few things that were on my mind in relation to what came through in the new covenant 5:05 which is not known in the new old covenant. First of all, is knowing God as our Father. Jesus came to earth not only to die for our sins. We are told in John's Gospel chapter 1 that 5:24 verse 18, "No one has seen God at any time." And the only begotten Son of God who is in the bosom of the Father, he has explained him. It's one of the great ministries that Jesus fulfilled. 5:43 Explaining God as a Father. We were considering earlier today about how there's a way there was a veil between the holy place and the most holy place in the tabernacle. God dwelt in the most holy place and nobody knew what he was like. 6:01 All the Jews knew him was a great and terrible and mighty God to be feared, etc. And the Pharisees in their preaching portrayed God as a severe judge or we would say like a policeman who was on your tail flashing his lights waiting 6:18 to catch you if you tripped up anywhere. And Jesus rent that veil and showed us that God was a loving father. And I fear that many many Christians still do not know him as a father. 6:37 They still do know him as God or I'm sorry to say at the other extreme some people know him as a buddy who's not very strict about concerned about how they behave, but he's a father. And many things that Jesus said was to 6:55 reveal to his disciples that they didn't have to be afraid of God. They could come to him. They He said, "If you earthly uh parents know how to give good things to your children, how much more will your heavenly father give good things to 7:11 those who ask him?" He tried to remove from their minds the fear that God would not give them good things. There are so many Christians like I was saying earlier in the question-answer time how many people think that God is a spoilsport 7:23 and he'll mess up our life if we give everything to him. Why is it most Christians do not surrender 100% of their life to God and say, "Lord, I want everything of your will for my life." Because they are afraid that God will spoil their life in some 7:37 way. They don't know him as a loving father. It's very very important that we are rooted and grounded in the fact that God is a loving father. To me, that is the foundation of the Christian life. And I I know that because there were 7:51 many years in my life when I knew him theoretically as a father. But it was like a father who lived in a distant country and who sent me letters, not one who was near me. You know, there's a difference between you can be a You can have a father who 8:03 lives in a far country and you've never seen him. He's just sent letters to you. And I think a lot of Christians know him like that. But to have a father who's right in your home, who cares for you, who's interested in you, who will never withhold any good 8:15 thing from you. This is the way we must know God as a father, and we must contend earnestly for this in our own life. And this is the God we have to share to others. No one has seen God, even in the world around us. People haven't seen God. 8:30 And people looking at our lives must see something of this in our life, that we have a loving father. I've often felt that if people could see every detail of my life, all the private details of my life, and um so many things 8:48 uh that I've faced in my life in all the 55 years I've been a believer, the difficulties, trials, and financial problems, and many other things, and see how I've come through it all. At the end of as they examine my life, they should be 9:04 able to say, "There's absolutely no explanation for this, except that he has a loving father in heaven." That should be our testimony. That if people could examine, know every detail of your life, your private life, every little detail, they should be able 9:19 to say, "There's absolutely no explanation for this, except that he's got a loving father in heaven. Otherwise, he could not have made it through in a triumphant way like this." And when we think of God as a loving father, it is not just 9:34 that um he loves us. A good father not only loves, but he disciplines. And that's the aspect which I wanted to emphasize. In Hebrews chapter 12, it says here, verse six, whom the Lord loves, 9:56 he disciplines. And he scourges every son whom he receives. It is for discipline that you endure. God deals with you as with sons. So, when we think of the love of God, it's manifested not only in providing 10:15 our need, but also in disciplining us when we go astray or when we slip up somewhere. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline? So, when we think of revealing, of knowing God as a father, contending for the fact that God 10:32 is our loving father, if you are without discipline, verse eight, of which all have become illegitimate children. Now, I want to say that to you very strongly. I know times in my life when I've slipped up oh, so slightly, 10:50 maybe in some word I spoke to someone which is a little unkind or something I wrote to someone or in some way I slipped up or a bitter thought or something. And I found the Lord has disciplined me physically. And I've asked the Lord, "Lord, why is 11:10 that?" And then the Lord points out some particular incident which is so trivial and so small. And I wept with joy that God would discipline me. He wants me to be so perfect 11:27 that even for a small thing like that, he would discipline me. And I said, "Lord, please wrap me up in this jealous love that you have for me that even when I slip up slightly, you'll discipline me and bring me back in line. 11:42 Because I see so many other Christians who do things that are 10 times worse than that, and they never seem to be disciplined." And I have a feeling it's because God sees they got offended the last time he disciplined them. 11:57 They got so upset. And they never took it properly and God says, "Okay, you go your way." I believe God does that. That if God disciplines you for something and you don't take it in the right way, he just let you go. It's a very sad thing. And I've said, 12:11 "Lord, never do that with me. Please discipline me. Because I really want to come to that place where one day I shall there will not even be a spot or a wrinkle in me. I'll be like Christ completely." If you have a passion for that, I believe God will 12:27 discipline you. There is a kindness in God and a severity in God. And if you know God as a father, it's like that. And if you're a good father, you have disciplined your children. I had four sons and I disciplined every 12:41 one of them. And that's why they're following the Lord today. I remember when my first grandson was born, and I went back to India after seeing him, the brothers in asked me, "Brother Zach, how does it feel like to be a 12:55 grandfather?" I said, "When I see that sweet little boy, I said, 'How can anybody ever punish him? He's so sweet and so good.'" Then I knew God was not a grandfather. He's a father. 13:13 He doesn't treat me like that. Uh so they asked me, "What will you do when your son picks up your grandson and wants to spank him? What's discipline him?" I said, "I think I'll go for a walk or something and come come back cuz I can't bear to see him 13:27 punished. That's how grandfathers are. Every grandfather's like that. And I said, "When he'll come and sit on my lap, this little boy, and say, 'Grandpa, Daddy hit me.'" I said, "I haven't changed my convictions, so I say, 'Son, that's good 13:40 for you.'" I mean, that's what God teaches, that that's the way you'll grow up in a good way. But I never do it myself. So, I see that God, if you If God is a father and he disciplines, he cares for us. And so, it says here, if you're If 13:55 you're without discipline in your in your life, you're not even a son. One proof that I'm a son of God, somebody would How do you know you're a son of God? Many people say, "Well, I received Jesus into my life so many years ago." 14:07 I'll tell you one proof I have that I'm a son of God, that I'm not an illegitimate child. That when I slip up, my father disciplines me. Can you say that? Can you say that when you slip up somewhere and you say something wrong, you hurt somebody, your 14:22 father does something to you? Gives you a bad time, troubles you in your conscience till you set it right, till you go and apologize to that person? Maybe gives you a little fever or some little difficulty that comes along your 14:33 way, which is a discipline, then you're a son, and not an illegitimate child. I fear that a lot of Christians don't know God as a father like this. They only think of uh that verse which says, "If you are evil know how to give good gifts to your 14:50 children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give good things to those who ask him?" That's one side of him. That's a one-sided picture of our Father which many people have. They don't know this other side, which is equally 15:02 God is a father. When we think of the love of Jesus for us, when I was young, people ask me, "How do you know that Jesus loves you?" I said, "Well, he died for me on the cross." I mean, isn't that love? But as I've grown in the Lord and as 15:19 I've become more mature, I have two reasons. How do you know Jesus loves you? And I say, "He died for me on the cross and he reproves me and disciplines me." Revelation 3:19. Do you know this verse? 15:37 Jesus says, "Those whom I love I reprove and discipline." Does God love you? What is the proof that you have that God loves you? Tell me the last time Jesus reproved you 15:54 and disciplined you. I can think of many times in my life when the Lord has reproved me, corrected me inwardly, rebuked me. That's how I know he loves me. Small little things which would wouldn't 16:14 even disturb most other Christians. But he will do that only if he sees that you have a passionate desire to be perfect. If you don't have a passionate desire to be perfect, he just let you go. And sometimes I have to weep and say, 16:31 "Lord, never let me go. Please don't let me go. Hold me to the highest standard. I want to get 100% in every subject." Allow him to discipline you. That is how we contend for this faith 16:48 that our God is a loving father who cares for us, who loves us, and who will discipline us, reprove us. And the stronger, the more he loves us, the more he will correct us and discipline us. Jesus called 17:08 his betrayer, Judas Iscariot. Do you know what he called him? In the Garden of Gethsemane, do you remember? Friend. Friend. What if he call the Pharisees? You vipers, you generation of vipers. 17:27 Do you know what he called his closest co-worker, Peter? Satan Get behind me, Satan. How do you understand this? Judas is called friend. The Pharisees are called vipers. And Peter is called Satan. Have you understood? 17:46 Is this the Jesus whom you know? Who loves you so much that he can use the strongest rebuke that he'd give to anybody and you will turn round to him like Peter and say, "Lord, to whom shall we go? What you have spoken are the words of 18:04 eternal life. I want to cling to you." This is the proper relationship that a real disciple of Jesus has with his heavenly Father and with Jesus. He loves the rod that corrects him. 18:21 Is this the faith you hold? I treasure this so much. In the Old Testament, it says in the Psalm, "If the righteous man smite you, it's like oil upon my head." That God smiting me is like his 18:40 anointing me. It's It's wonderful. To me, it's a mark of God's anointing me that he smites me when I when I It's not without cause. It's when I slip up. He wants to correct me. He wants to hold me to the highest. And I want to urge all of you, my 18:56 brothers and sisters, have a passion in your life. And ask Jesus and the Father to hold you to the highest at any cost. Lord, take me through anything. Give me sickness, give me poverty, strike me financially with illness or 19:13 anything. Discipline me, but hold me to the highest. I don't want to have any regret when I stand before you in eternity about the way I lived here on this earth. This is the faith I contend for. God is a loving father. 19:28 I have a Jesus who proves his love for me by reproving me and disciplining me. And I want to say to you that, you know, we talk about hearing God's voice speaking to us. That if you have never heard the Lord rebuking you strongly, 19:45 I want to tell you you probably never heard the Lord speaking to you at all. You're imagining that the Lord spoke to you. If the Lord really speaks to you, he will you will hear some strong words from him at times. I hear them frequently, I'll tell 20:00 you. Many times, sometimes more than once a day. And I I weep with joy every time I hear it because I know it's It's my father holding me in a very jealous love. So, this is the father we know, one whom we are not afraid of. 20:19 You know, there are two types of when we talk about the fear of God. It says in 1 Peter in chapter 1 when we talk about our God is our father, many people don't associate fear of God with fatherhood. But here it says I mean, the early Christians knew God as 20:37 the father and Peter writes to them in 1 Peter 1:17. If you address as father the one who impartially judges according to each man's work. 20:55 That means when God looks at you, even if you're a son, if you're wrong, you're wrong. Just because you're a son doesn't make it right. He's impartial in his judgment. And you address him as father, the one who impartially judges according 21:15 to each man's work, then conduct yourself in fear. You see the connection between knowing him as a father and fearing, having a a fear of God during your entire time of your stay on 21:35 this earth. That's a command for me. If you know God is your father, you must conduct I must conduct myself in fear during my entire lifetime on earth every single day. We talk about the grace of God, but when you look at that classic 21:52 example of of purity in the Old Testament in the life of Joseph, you know that sexual sin is almost the number one temptation for men right from the time of their youth. And Joseph was a a strong, healthy, 22:11 masculine 20-year-old young man. And here he was being tempted. He wasn't running after any woman, a woman was running after him. And wanted to sleep with him. You read that in Genesis, chapter 39. 22:30 And what are the things that Joseph never had which we have? He had no Bible, no fellowship, no meetings, no church, and no parents nearby. His parents were all in another country. He was a recognized leader among all 22:51 those working workers there. Nothing to lose. His master's wife wants to sleep with him. The only thing he told her was How can I commit this great evil against God? 23:09 I want to see you to see that verse, all of you men especially. Genesis in chapter 39. It's a classic example right in the beginning of one who stood against sexual sin. 23:28 And it's very interesting when it comes immediately after Genesis chapter 38 where Joseph's own brother Judah commits sin with his daughter-in-law. Sexual sin, that's Genesis 38. 23:47 And here is in Genesis 39 his younger brother Joseph standing up and saying when Potiphar's wife tempted him, this is his answer. It says here that there was nobody in the house when he was in the room when he was 24:06 being tempted. And um he says in verse nine, the last part, how can I do this great evil and sin against God? What was it that protected him at that moment from sin? 24:24 Grace was not there. Grace came through Jesus Christ. Sin shall not have dominion over you because you're under grace. Joseph was not under grace. How is it this sin did not have dominion over him? When you don't have grace, when you 24:40 don't have the Bible when you have no understanding of Calvary or the love of Jesus or anything, one thing still kept him the fear of God. And I've come to see through many, many years the tragedy with so many Christians is 24:55 they know about the grace of God and the mercy of God, but they don't know about the fear of God. See, the early Jews had one big advantage when they became disciples of Jesus. For years and years and years they were drilled into the fear of God, and then 25:08 they learned about the grace of God, so they could understand it properly. The tragedy with today's Christians is they had no hardly anything about the fear of God, and they straight away learn about the grace of God, and then they misunderstand it. 25:21 Then they the grace the grace they understand becomes a license to sin. So, what protected Joseph was only this. I know nobody's here, but I know God is here. He was so conscious of God's presence, even though he was far away from his 25:38 parents, the little bit he had heard from his God-fearing father Jacob remained in his mind. That there is a God in heaven who's watching you all the time. Remember that. So, he was more afraid of that, God watching him, 25:54 than the people who were not there to catch him. You know, we can see this in situations in our home, for example, when a husband and wife putting a husband and wife are having a dispute and a quarrel and raising their voices, 26:08 and suddenly you hear the doorbell ring, and somebody walks in. You see how the dispute stops immediately? A brother from the church has come to visit. And then everything is very pleasant and nice and you're conversating with each 26:25 other until he goes away. And when he goes away, you go into round two of the dispute. Why is that? Because once he's gone away, it's only Jesus in the house. Who cares for him? 26:42 Till now it was a brother in the house. Oh, we couldn't fight in his presence. But once he's gone, it's only Jesus here. We don't really fear the Lord. If you feared God, you'd be more afraid of Jesus' presence in the house 27:00 than of that visiting brother. It wouldn't make any difference if he's there. What does it matter what he thinks about you? What does the Lord think about you? I mean, that's a practical way to find out whether we fear God or not. 27:12 When nobody knows how you are speaking or to each other at home or how you're handling your finances. Do I respect my father in heaven so much that I conduct myself in fear? Contend earnestly 27:31 for this faith that's been delivered a father who teaches us reverence for him. Then I want to move on to another thing. Another aspect of our new covenant faith. Turn with me to Acts of the Apostles in chapter 24. And that's the matter of keeping a 27:54 blameless conscience before God and before men. Here Paul is standing before King Felix and he's giving his testimony. And he says, "I have a hope 28:16 which these men also cherish." Verse 15. Acts 24:15. "That there will certainly be two resurrections. There's going to be a resurrection of the righteous and there's going to be a resurrection of the wicked." Now, you got to read this very 28:36 carefully. In view of this, that means because I know there're going to be two resurrections, and I want to be in the resurrection of the righteous and not in the resurrection of the wicked. What do I do? He doesn't say the answer which most 28:56 people would give today. Well, I accepted Jesus 20 years ago, so I'm okay. That's not what he says. I want to be in the resurrection of the righteous. Therefore, I do my best to maintain 24/7 a conscience. 29:16 A blameless conscience. That's without offense before God and before men. I want to ask you, my brothers and sisters, is that the faith you hold to? That was the faith that was delivered to the saints. Is that the faith you believe in that in 29:35 order to be in the resurrection of the righteous, you seek do your very best to keep your conscience free of blame 24/7 before God and before men? 29:54 I think there are very few Christians who believe that. This is what it means by standing true to God in a day of compromise. Otherwise, we have to say Paul's theology was all wrong. He did not know that once you accept 30:09 Christ, you're okay. You don't have to worry too much about keeping your conscience always blameless 24/7. Who can ever do that? Before God and before men. I ask people this simple question. If you're walking barefoot in a thorny 30:27 field and a thorn gets into your foot, how long do you take to pull it out? Supposing 1 minute later another thorn got into your foot, how long would you take to pull it out? You wouldn't even wait 1 second. Do you keep your conscience like that? 30:49 Jesus said, "Our conscience is like our eye." He said, "If your eye is clear, your whole body is full of light." So, guard your conscience like you keep your eyes. If a speck of dust, one speck of dust gets into your eye, 31:05 what do you do? Even if you're doing very important work, you stop your work and wash out your eye because it's a constant irritation. Why did Jesus compare the conscience to the eye? Because of all the parts of our body, 31:22 the eye is the most sensitive. You can touch any part of your body, it doesn't hurt. But, if you accidentally touch your eye, it hurts. Just a touch. And Jesus said, "Keep your conscience like that." He said that in Luke chapter 11. 31:46 "The lamp of your body is your eye. When your eye is clear, healthy, your whole body is full of light. But, when it is bad, your body is full of darkness. Watch out 32:05 that the light in you does not become darkness." He's speaking about the eye of our spirit. And that's our conscience. Just like your physical eye is the means through which light comes into your body, the conscience is the eye through which 32:25 the light of God comes into your spirit. And if you neglect your conscience, you're more foolish than a man who neglects your eyes. Why has God made our eyes 32:42 in such a way that they're being bathed many hundreds of times in a day? You know the tears that come through your eye and come into your nose. It's a washing. There's no part of your body that's being cleansed as much as 32:55 your eyes. And Jesus compared that to the conscience. This is the faith that's delivered to the saints. I want to be in the resurrection of the righteous. And therefore, I do my best. He doesn't say I leave it to God. Acts 33:10 24:16. I do my best always to keep my conscience clear before God and before men. What does that mean in practical terms? If you want to bring it down to practical things. That means if I have a a thought, there 33:29 are some sins that are only before God. Sins in the thought and attitude. If I have a a bitter thought against someone or a lustful thought against someone or a dirty look or an a wrong attitude. I don't wait. As soon as I'm aware of 33:48 it, as soon as I'm aware a thorn got into my foot or a speck of dust got into my eye, I immediately turn to God in repentance and say, "Lord, I'm sorry. I slipped up there. Please forgive me." Immediately. Or say in a moment of weakness, you 34:09 suddenly lost your temper at someone. Maybe your partner at home, your spouse, or anyone. You got angry and you know it was wrong. The only righteous anger is that which concerns the glory of God. 34:27 Any anger that concerns somebody hurting you is always sinful anger. And you know it was wrong. How do you immediately pull out that thorn? How do you immediately get rid of that speck from your desk? There's only one way. 34:41 You immediately go to God and say, "Lord, I'm sorry. I slipped up. I lost my temper there. I don't want to justify myself. I sinned." Jesus told the Pharisees, "You are the ones who justify yourself always. I don't want to be in that category. 34:58 I sinned, Lord. Forgive me." And here's the more difficult part. To ask forgiveness from the person you got angry with. "I'm sorry. That was my fault. I I should I'm lost my temper. I'm sorry. Please forgive me." Do you know how difficult it is to say 35:17 that? Why do those words come so It's become so difficult to come out of our mouths. It's only pride. What does it mean to keep my conscience always blameless before God and before men? I believe that many of us would have got 35:34 victory over anger long, long ago if we had followed the simple rule of immediately asking forgiveness from God and from the person you hurt immediately. You say, "What if I lose my temper again at the same person 1 hour later?" Ask 35:53 again. If a thorn got into your foot 1 hour later, you pull it out again. You do that and I'll tell you you'll be cured pretty quickly of your anger. It's because we don't do that that many people live for years defeated by their anger and the devil 36:11 says, "This is your temperament. Your dad had it. Your mom had it. You'll live with it all your life." It's a lie of the devil. When the Bible says in Ephesians 4:31, "Put away all anger." I'm It means what it says. And I decided I was an angry person. 36:26 I'll tell you even after I was converted. I used to get angry at home and angry in different places. And I said, "Lord, this is not the will of God." I want to get rid of it in my life and I don't care how long it takes. And I 36:38 fought it and fought it and fought it till it went out of my life completely. And I said, "Lord, I want to live a life where 365 days of a year I'll never raise my voice at my wife and never get angry at all." And if somebody in the church office 36:51 does something wrong, I'm not going to lose my temper. Never. I correct him graciously, but not lose my temper. I want to control my temper. It's possible. Ask God for the power of the Holy Spirit. It'll completely change your 37:06 life. When God sees you're very sensitive to sin like this, it's amazing what revelation he'll give into your life. You know, it says when your eye is clear, your whole body is full of light. And when I when we keep our conscience 37:19 clear like this, God gives us such revelation of Christ and his word into us that is unimaginable. I mean, I've seen amazing things in the scripture. Since the same scripture that I studied for so many years, I begin to see 37:32 amazing things in my life when I keep my conscience clear. I said, "How is that?" Because I'm getting rid of the specs from my eye. And the light is coming flooding into my spirit. There's so many things which are here in 37:47 scripture. I've heard people tell me, "Brother Zac, I read that same verse so many times. I never saw it till you showed it to me." Well, I never saw it myself, I said. Till I began to keep my conscience clear. You If your eyes are hazy, you can't 38:00 read what's written in the scripture. And when your conscience is not clear, you don't get revelation on scripture. So, contend earnestly for this faith. Proclaim it in your churches. That we must keep our conscience 24/7 38:16 clear before God and before men. Why? Because I want to be in the resurrection of the righteous. Read that again. If Acts 24 15 and 16, there will certainly be a resurrection of the righteous 38:34 and a resurrection of the wicked. And because I want to be in the resurrection of the righteous in view of this, I do my best. You see the connection? To keep my conscience blameless 24/7 before God and before men. 38:53 This is the faith that was delivered to the saints. The Apostle Paul knew what he was talking about. And in this connection, it's not only a question of asking forgiveness. We also need to forgive. That's another part of 39:12 the teaching of Jesus which is tremendously ignored in our time. Jesus said, you know the Lord's Prayer. And we considered it earlier today. Six requests. Our Father who art in heaven, number one, hallowed be thy name. Second, thy 39:28 kingdom come. Third, thy will be done. Fourth, give us this daily our daily bread. Fifth, forgive us our debts as we have forgiven others, our debtors. And sixth, lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. And out of these six requests, he says, 39:47 "Okay, thine is the kingdom, power, and glory. Amen." And then, he takes one of these six requests, just one of the six, and underlines it. He says, "Out of all these six requests, I want to underline one especially." Matthew 6:14. 40:05 If you forgive men their transgressions, your heavenly Father will forgive you. And if you don't forgive men, your heavenly Father will not forgive your transgressions. This is the faith delivered to the saints. That your father will not forgive your 40:23 sins if you don't forgive others. Now, he's not talking about God here. If he said God will not forgive you, then it's a message to unbelievers. But when he says your father, he's talking to believers. He's telling a believer, 40:40 "Your father, God is your father, but he will not forgive your sins if you don't forgive somebody else." And if you die in that condition, you're going to go to hell. Can you believe that you can go to heaven without your sins forgiven? 40:58 Anybody believes that? Or anybody believes there's a second chance after we die? What will happen to me if I die without forgiving somebody? I don't know what you believe. I believe my father will not forgive me. Because I believe that heaven and earth 41:16 will pass away, but God's word will not pass away. And I want to be in the resurrection of the righteous. Now, I know that's not popular preaching. I know most preachers won't tell you that because most preachers don't read 41:29 the scripture carefully and they will not say anything that hurts people. And that's why so many people do go to hell. I'll tell you the true story of a very well-known preacher who was in India, who'd come as a He was an Indian from 41:42 South Africa who'd come to India as a missionary at the age of 30. And he'd labored for 20 years. And this happened in 1980. He was a very well-known preacher and singer. And uh we were a small little church in Bangalore those days. 41:59 And he had somehow heard one of my messages. And though he was a very well-known speaker, he came to our church. And um he he was so responsive to the message of discipleship that we preached. And 2 years later, 42:16 he was sick and dying in a hospital. And he called me over he was in he was in another town and I went across to that town and visited him in the hospital bed. And he said, "Brother Zach, I want to tell you something." He He was an older man than me. He was 42:33 at at that time itself he was around 50, but he was dying. And he said, "You know, when I came here to this country as a missionary 20 years ago, I came with great sincerity to serve the Lord. But so many pastors in this country told 42:47 all types of lies against me. And so much of evil and I had so much bitterness against all these preachers and pastors who had spoken lies and spoken evil about me. And I felt I was I was right in holding that attitude until 43:06 I came to your church 2 years ago. And when I came to your church, that is the first time in my life I heard that if you don't forgive others, God will not forgive you. I'd never heard that anywhere. And that I'd be lost eternally if I 43:22 didn't forgive others. And I knew I hadn't forgiven so many people. I thought I was right in not forgiving them. But I took your words seriously. And I want to say to you, I've called you to my I'm dying in a few days I'll 43:36 I'll be dead, but I wanted to tell you this that your words saved me. I've given every one of them and I'm ready to meet my savior. And he died. Boy, was I thankful that I preached the truth to him. That his blood will not be on my hands. 43:55 And nobody's blood will be on my hands who's come to our church. We proclaim the truth. I don't care how unpopular it makes me. I don't care how many people say it's heresy. That in the day of judgment I remember I had to tell one brother in our church 44:09 who was newly come and he was not used not used to the strong preaching we have in our church. And he told somebody, "Brother Zac preaches so hard." And I called him and I said, "Brother," I put my arm around him and I said, 44:22 "Hey, uh you may not appreciate today what you hear from me. You may think it's hard, but I tell you one thing, in the day when you stand before Jesus Christ and I stand there with you, you will turn around and thank me 44:41 for what you heard. When you see the fate of so many other Christians who were fooled by their pastors and deceived by them. The difference I said is I don't want your money. I want to save your soul. Those guys are only interested in collecting money from 44:57 their congregation. They don't tell them the truth. They won't tell them what offends them cuz they may lose their congregation. I'm not afraid of losing my congregation. I'm interested in saving their souls. Contend for the faith that's been 45:11 delivered to the saints. Is it in your Bible or not? Jesus emphasized this with a parable. Turn with me to Matthew chapter 18. Matthew chapter 18. I'm just helping you to contend earnestly for the faith which is once for all delivered to the saints by Jesus 45:31 and the Holy Spirit. And it probably is a needed message for some people sitting right here. Some of you who think you're wonderful believers and you haven't forgiven somebody yet. Maybe somebody who did some wrong to you 45:43 or cheated you years ago. And you got this little grudge against him in your heart. Listen to this story. Peter came, Matthew 18:21, asked him, "Lord, how long shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Shall I forgive him seven times? 46:00 I've heard the Jews said that you must forgive your brothers three times and Peter thought wow, I'm a new covenant guy so I'll forgive them seven times and he thought Jesus is going to pat him on the back and say great. And Jesus said 46:11 nothing doing. Not seven times but up to 70 * 7 which means infinitely. And then he told this story and listen to the story very carefully. There was a king who wanted to settle accounts with his slaves verse 23 and there was a man 46:28 brought to him verse 24 who owed him 10,000 talents and in the margin of my Bible it says that is 10 million dollars. Okay. He owed him 10 million dollars. He's a slave. Where in the world is he going to earn 10 million dollars? 46:45 But the Lord commanded him to be sold along with his wife and children and the slave fell down prostrated himself verse 26 and said have patience with me, I will repay you everything. And the Lord of the slave felt compassion 47:02 and released him verse 27 and forgave him 10 million dollars. And that slave went out verse 28 and found another fellow slave who owed him a hundred denarii. Now a denarii is 47:20 you know the one day's wage. So a hundred denarii is about three months wages and three months wages can be quite a bit of laborers wages for three months. I don't know what it is but anyways it's a certain amount of money but it's it's 47:33 a drop in the bucket compared to 10 million dollars. Okay, he owed him so many dollars maybe thousand dollars perhaps okay. That's a bit of money but that man said the same thing to him have patience with me. I will repay you exactly the same words 47:51 that he had told the king but he was unwilling to forgive him. Unwilling to release him. He threw him in prison until he paid back that money. And the other fellow slaves saw this, verse 31. And they went and reported to the Lord 48:11 what had happened. And this is the part I want you to see. The Lord summoned him and said to him, "You wicked slave. What does God call a believer who's been forgiven so many sins and who will not forgive another? A 48:30 small little thing which that person did against him. Small compared to how much God's forgiven him. He says, "You're not a son of mine. You're a wicked person." That's the word he used. "You wicked person. I forgave you all that massive debt 48:52 that you committed against me for so many years. Shouldn't you have had mercy on your fellow believer? Or that other person, that fellow human being? Just as I had mercy on you?" And his lord was moved with anger. And handed him over to the torturers 49:11 until he should repay all the 10 million dollars that he owed. In other words, he unforgave. Have you heard of unforgiveness? Not our unforgiving attitude, but God unforgiving the forgiveness he gave us. Have you ever heard a preacher tell you 49:31 about God unforgiving the forgiveness he gave you? You know, they say, "Well, it says in Hebrews 8:12, God says, I will not remember your sins and iniquities." 49:49 He doesn't say I've forgotten it. There's no verse in the Bible which says God's forgotten our sins. If I can remember the sins I did 50 years ago, how in the world can God have forgotten it? I want to tell you something. 50:04 God has not forgotten our sins. He says in Hebrews 8:12, I choose not to remember it when I see you. Read it carefully. I will not remember. My will is not to remember. That's what he means. He doesn't say I've forgotten. 50:20 It is impossible for forget if I myself have not forgotten. If God's forgotten all the sins I committed, then I have to say my memory is better than God's cuz I remember all the sins I most of the sins I committed. Remember this. Don't think he's 50:35 forgotten. And this helps me in one way that when we forgive others, we don't have to forget what they did. Some people torture themselves. Oh, I still remember what he did against me. You'll always remember it because you 50:46 don't have a control over your memory. God doesn't ask you to forget it. He asks you to to choose not to remember when you meet that person. That's how we forgive. And so, here is the example that God hasn't forgotten. This 10 million sins 51:03 that were committed, God says I put it all back on you. I remember every one of those sins you committed. And because you didn't forgive this other person, I put the whole lot Do you know that according to this parable, 51:18 if you don't forgive somebody, some sin that they committed against you, it is a real sin. They did something evil. Every sin that you committed from the day you were born is till today is put back on you. 51:34 It's called unforgiveness. What was once cleansed in the blood of Christ is put back on you. And I'll tell you why I say that. Verse 35. So shall my heavenly father do to you." He's talking to Peter. 51:55 Remember, Peter is the one who asked him the question. He's not talking to some Pharisee or some Jew. Peter Peter, listen. My heavenly father will do this to you. You're my closest co-worker. If you don't forgive your brother from 52:10 your heart. Content for the faith which has been delivered to the saints. Keep your conscience clear. Ask for forgiveness. And forgive others as soon as they have done something against you. Don't wait till they ask for 52:31 forgiveness. That is You have to wait for them to ask for forgiveness in order to build fellowship with them. But with most cases, you have no fellowship with them. You forgive them just like Jesus on the cross. They didn't ask him to forgive them. He 52:47 says, "Father, forgive them." The people who called him prince of devils, Beelzebub, they didn't ask for forgiveness. They didn't even acknowledge their sin. He said, "Whoever has spoken a word against the son of man, Matthew chapter 52:57 12, is forgiven." We must have an attitude where as soon as we hear that somebody said or did something against us, it's for they're forgiven. I haven't even met them, but somebody told me, "Hey, brother Zac, do you know 53:11 that this fellow said this against you?" I said, "Lord, he's forgiven." Do you have that attitude as soon as you hear that someone did or said something against you behind your back, you say, "He's forgiven." That was Jesus' attitude. 53:24 And that's the best attitude to have. That's how we keep our conscience clear. And we are ready for the resurrection of the righteous. Now, another thing I want you to notice here in verse 34 is the lord is moved with anger and handed him over 53:38 to the torturers. This was not just prison. It was in prison he was tortured and the torturers are the demons. That means God allows demons to harass one who was his child. What for? Not because he committed adultery or 53:57 stole money or it's just because he didn't forgive somebody. Handed over to the demons. So shall my heavenly father do to you. I repeat this because most people don't read these words carefully. 54:15 And remember what Jesus said, "Heaven and earth will pass away but my words will not pass away." And that is why I say to all of you, my dear brothers and sisters, we must always live in a deep consciousness of how much God 54:29 has forgiven us. That is the thing which has helped me the most to forgive others. As a servant of the Lord, I've been serving the Lord 50 years now. And you can imagine that as a servant of the Lord, I've been the target not only 54:43 of Satan but a lot of people who don't like what I preach. Many people in India just don't like what I preach. Particularly Christian leaders and they spread stories about me and all types of evil things and I say, "Lord, I forgive." 55:00 I've got nothing against anyone in the whole world. I keep my heart clear. I want to be in the resurrection of the righteous. I want to keep my conscience clear 24/7 because not just to be in the resurrection of the righteous because that's the way I 55:14 can have a clear fellowship with my father. That's the way my eye is clear so that the light of God can come into me that I can get revelation whenever I read the scripture that the Bible is not a boring book like some people say. I'm 55:28 getting revelation. How can it be boring when you're getting revelation on it? It's wonderful. A lot of people It's because people are blind that they find the Bible is boring. It's heavy. Oh, I have to read the Bible every day. 55:43 Why is it like that? Because you don't your eye is not clear. That's the problem. It's like a blind man trying to read the Bible. He says it's a such a strain. It is a strain when your eye is not clear. Try clearing up your eye and see if 55:55 there's a difference. Make a world of difference when you find exciting things in scripture and God speaking to you. Say, "Wow, I want to get to the scriptures every day. I want to hear something. What is God saying to me?" 56:06 Keep your conscience clear. This is the faith once for all delivered to the saints. Let's hold on to it. There's one more thing I want to say before I finish today. And that is the importance of the family. It's very, very important in these days. 56:25 The family is under attack by Satan. And we have to preserve our families. Turn with me to Ephesians in chapter This is another aspect of new covenant. Do you know that in the old covenant you could die without forgiving another 56:44 and still go to heaven into God's presence, but not today. Did you know that? To whom more is given, more is required. Maybe before before I go to this family, I will matter, I'll just show you one verse in the Old Testament. 56:58 Turn with me to 1 Kings and chapter 2. This is back to the old subject of forgiveness. I want you to show this before I move on to show you the difference between old covenant and new covenant. 1 Kings in chapter 2, we read here about 57:17 David just about to die. 1 Kings 2 verse 1, David's time to dry die drew near and he charged Solomon his son. I'm going the way of all the earth. And he tells him some very good things. Keep the charge of the Lord your God, 57:32 walk in his ways, keep his statutes, his commandments, so that the Lord may carry out his promise which you. And if he had stopped at verse four, that it'd have been wonderful. But he didn't stop at verse four. See what he says after that. 57:48 You know what Joab did. Now, I don't want to go on into all that. And you know that other person uh Shimei, verse eight. You know this guy Shimei. Shimei was a relative of Saul who when Absalom chased David out of the throne, 58:07 Shimei said, "Now is my chance to curse him." And he went after and uh You read that in 2 Samuel chapter 15, 16, etc. where he went after David and cursed him and threw stones at him and said, "You wicked fellow, God's now punishing you." 58:21 etc. He said all that. And a few days later, Absalom was killed and David came back to the throne. Then Shimei got scared. And Shimei came running back to uh David and said, "Oh, I'm sorry for all that I said. Please forgive me." And 58:34 David said, "Shimei, I will not kill you. Don't worry. Go in peace." Now, as he's dying, he tells Solomon, even though he externally told Shimei, "I've forgiven you." He kept it in his heart. 58:53 And in his death bed, a few seconds before he dies, he remembers it. And he tells Solomon, "You know that guy Shimei, how he cursed me with a violent curse? And uh he came down to me at the Jordan. And unfortunately, I swore to him that I 59:08 wouldn't put him to death. But Solomon, you didn't make that promise. So, you can kill him. It was I who made that promise. So, make sure that you don't let his Make sure his 59:25 gray hair goes down to Sheol with blood. Wow. Is this a man after God's own heart speaking? And the next word, then David slept. What a way to die. Now, let me ask you. 59:45 Is David in heaven or not? Tell me. He was under the old covenant. You could die with such bitterness in your heart against somebody who hurt you, but not in the new covenant. 1:00:03 There is a world of difference to whom more is given, more is required. Contend for the faith delivered to the saints. In Ephesians chapter 5, family life. You never read about much about family life in the old covenant because that 1:00:20 was not important. How Moses lived with his wife, we don't know. How the prophets lived with their wives, we don't know. The prophets, their children, whether they followed the Lord, we don't know. 1:00:39 We know that Samuel's sons, Samuel, one of the greatest prophets in the Old Testament, we read in 1 Samuel chapter 8, his sons didn't follow the Lord at all. Do you know if Samuel were in the New Testament, he could didn't qualify to be 1:00:52 an elder in the church? Imagine Samuel the prophet. And I'd have to sit him brother Samuel, you can't be you're not fit to be an elder in the church, sorry. And he was one of the greatest prophets in the Old Testament because his his sons took bribes. 1:01:07 And he made them judges. Nepotism from Samuel? Unbelievable. But in the new covenant, the standard is so high. It says an elder cannot be an elder, if he uh doesn't bring up his children properly. 1:01:27 And wives and husbands, their relationship is so important in the new covenant. There's nothing mentioned about this type of relationship in the old covenant. It says the relationship between husband and wife, it's like the relationship between 1:01:39 Christ and the church. You see why the devil is out to bring divorce? In Malachi, one of the last things God says is I hate divorce. Let me show you that. I'll show you two verses in Malachi, put them together and see what it means. 1:01:58 Malachi and chapter 2, He speaks here about the relationship between husband and wife. And he says, "Take heed that you don't deal treacherously, verse 1:02:16 15, with the wife of your youth. You've dealt treacherously, verse 14." He's speaking about husband-wife relationships all the time here. And "Take heed that you don't deal treacherously with your life." Again and again in verse 15, and verse 14, and 1:02:34 verse 15, and verse 16. And then he says, uh in Malachi 3, "I am the Lord, and I do not change." He hasn't changed. He hates divorce, he hated it then, and he hates it now. And you can see that 1:02:55 the devil is come to bring to make divorce so common among Christians that it's almost accepted as normal. But God hates it. Jesus said, "From the beginning it was not so." God did not permit man and woman to divorce. 1:03:14 But it's come right into the church. There are pastors who are divorced, they accepted it, they conduct the marriages of people who are divorced. I said, "I'll never do it in my life." I wouldn't go against the word I won't 1:03:27 um conduct something which God hates. But it's come right into the church. And so, we have to preserve our marriage relationship very carefully in our time because it is under attack. And you see that in Ephesians chapter 5 1:03:45 and it says in verse 22 to 33 about husband-wife relationships. And that whole section from 5:22 to 6:9 is dealing with home relationships, husband-wife, parents-children, and in those days they had servants in the house as well, master-servant. It's 1:04:01 entirely about the Christian home. And have you noticed this? It's the only place in scripture where we are taught about our warfare with Satan. And it comes immediately after the section on the Christian home. 1:04:21 He talks about the Christian home and he says, "Now, verse 10, chapter 6, verse 10, be strong in the Lord the power of His might. Put on the full armor of God." Remember, he's talking about the Christian home because our struggle is not against 1:04:35 flesh and blood, against the rulers and powers and principalities who are determined to make sure that husband and wife break up, that fathers don't bring up their children in the fear of the Lord like mentioned in chapter 6, verse 1:04:45 1. And the verse 4, and the children become rebellious against their parents, and that masters and servants fight at home, etc., etc., etc. The devil is against this. So, put on the whole armor of God and stand firm. It's very significant to me that in the 1:05:00 one big section on the Christian home in the New Testament is immediately followed by a warning about Satan attacking. And you can see that happening all over the world today. We need to our families against the attack of Satan. 1:05:16 And the strength the weapon given to us is from is in Ephesians 5:18. Be filled with the Holy Spirit. There's only one verse in all the epistles, only one place in all the epistles where we are told to be filled with the Holy Spirit. 1:05:34 Only one. And that's here, immediately before the section on the Christian home. So, how do we see the section on the Christian home? Before the section on the Christian home, we are told to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Immediately 1:05:47 after the section on the Christian home, we are told to stand against the devil. Isn't that significant? That the only place in the Bible where it says be filled with the Holy Spirit as a command is before the section on the Christian 1:05:59 home. And the only place in the New Testament where it it speaks about spiritual warfare is immediately after the Christian home. This is the unit which is under attack. This is the place where we need to be filled with the Holy Spirit. 1:06:12 It's not to be speaking in tongues primarily. It's to love your wife as Christ loved the church. That's why you need to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Do you think it's easy to love your life as wife as Christ loved the church? 1:06:25 I've struggled all my life to do it. I've got a very good wife. But I don't believe I have attained to loving her as Christ loved the church. And if you are honest, every husband here will admit it. And there's only one way to do it. 1:06:38 Be filled with the Holy Spirit and work on it. Lord, I will not stop until I have loved my wife exactly like you loved the church. And I don't want to lower that standard and say I already do it. If any husband dares to tell me that, I'd say, you have 1:06:54 no idea of how Christ loved you. That's why you say it's so likely that you love your wife like Christ loved the church. You don't have a clue about how how much Christ loved you. And the sad thing is there are so many Christian husbands who are not even 1:07:07 attempting to proceed in that direction. When I see when some some people sometimes uh some couples come to me in my church and say, "Brother Zac, please pray for us. We've been married 15 years ago. Today's our wedding anniversary." I said, "Do 1:07:23 you love each other 15 times as much as you did on your wedding day?" At least you should be. It's your 15th wedding anniversary. Are you moving towards loving your wife as Christ loved the church? Are you serious about it? 1:07:37 Content for the faith delivered to the saints. Stand true to God in the day of compromise. And wives, do you seek to submit to your husbands as Christ as as the church is to Christ? Do you seek to do that? And can you say 1:07:52 that the only area where I disobey my husband is where I see he's violating the law of God. There you're permitted because above your husband there is an authority, and that's Christ himself. But other than that, do you really seek? You really are you 1:08:09 working towards it? If not, I I'm so amazed. I preached for so many years on this subject, and yet I find even in some of our churches where people have heard me preach on this again and again and again and again, I find husbands and 1:08:25 wives still yelling and shouting at each other, and they seem to have a clear conscience. I just can't understand it. How dead can your conscience be that you can do such a thing and it doesn't even bother you? Don't you think the devil's done a 1:08:38 fantastic work of making us drift away from the faith that's been delivered to the saints, from the new covenant life that Jesus shed his blood for? He said, "This is the blood of the new covenant." When you drink the cup, 1:08:56 are you saying, "Lord, I want this new covenant life?" This is what we proclaim in our church. This is what I proclaimed in our church back home for 40 years. And this is what we proclaim in this church here. There are many other things, but 1:09:12 I think that's enough for the time being. Jude was concerned that we should contend earnestly for the faith which is once for all delivered to the saints which the devil is trying to rob the church of, lower the standards in all these areas. 1:09:30 And if you have any responsibility in a church, my brother or sister, stand for the truth and even if you don't have a responsibility, pray that God will make you faithful as a brother or a sister to encourage others to live up the stand 1:09:43 to up to the standard that Jesus proclaimed. There's not a single verse. There's not a single thing I spoke today for which I did not show you scripture. Everything I spoke today, every single word, I backed up with scripture so that 1:09:58 your faith does not depend on Zac Poonen's cleverness, but on the word of God, the word of Jesus Christ, the word of the Holy Spirit. May God have mercy on us. Let's pray. Dear brother or sister, take a few moments 1:10:15 in silence to think if there's anybody whom you have not forgiven. Let's start there. At this moment, is there anyone that comes to your mind and you don't have to dig up your heart. If it doesn't come to your mind in a half a minute, forget it. 1:10:34 If you If there is someone you have not forgiven, it'll come to your mind immediately. There may be one, two, three. By an act of your will, say to Jesus right now, "Lord, I forgive that person." Right now, I say it before you, 1:10:51 seriously. And I forgive that other person. And I forgive that other person. Name them silently before God. Mean it. And I tell you in Jesus' name, God will accept you right now. Lord, I'm sorry. I never knew how 1:11:10 serious this was. But I've understood it today. My eye has been blind. I don't get revelation on your word. I want you to clear up my eyes today. I want to forgive every person, Lord. 1:11:30 Remind me right now. And if there's anyone else that comes to my mind later, Lord, I'll forgive them immediately. Forgiveness is an act of your will. You don't have to meet that person. You don't have to visit him. You don't 1:11:42 have to go and do anything to him, but you're to forgive him in your will. It's an act of your will from your heart. Maybe somebody hurt one of your children. That can be even more painful. Forgive. Forgive. And then the next step 1:12:01 ask yourself whether you need to ask somebody's forgiveness. Say, Lord, at the first opportunity I'm going to ask that person's forgiveness. And I mean it. I've hurt this person. I've hurt that other person. And I've come to bring an 1:12:16 offering before you. And I remember your word says, "Leave your offering there and go and settle matters with that person and come back again." Lord, I've not taken that word seriously. But I'm going to take it seriously now. 1:12:29 God, my father, you've been so good to me. Help me to be good to others. You've forgiven me so much. Help me to forgive others. And be to be quick to humble myself to ask forgiveness from all whom I've hurt. Help me, Lord, 1:12:45 from this moment to keep my conscience always clear, to do my best to keep it clear 24/7. I believe it's possible if it was possible for Paul, it's possible for me. If it is possible for other brothers, it's possible for me. 1:13:04 And your Holy Spirit will help me. And then go to your home relationship. Lord, I want to take my home relationship very seriously from today. My relationship with my wife and my husband is sacred. It's the most sacred of earthly 1:13:21 relationships. And I want to preserve it. I want to strive to love my wife as Christ loved the church. Help me, Lord, to press on to that goal. And wives, you say, "Lord, I want to submit to my wife to my husband under the Lord. 1:13:41 Help me, Lord, to have a spirit of submission that we can be an exemplary home that you can point out to the devil. And where you can say to Satan, "Satan, go and have a look at that home and see what my spirit has worked in 1:13:56 that family there." Help me, Lord, to bring up my children in the fear of God. Forgive me where I failed and help me, Lord, in the days to come to do the best of what I can. I know that you overlook the times of ignorance, 1:14:12 but you're commanding me to repent now. Dear brothers and sisters, what I have shared with you is the way to health, perfect health. It'll revolutionize and change your life completely if you take it seriously and live in this light all your days. May 1:14:30 God help us. Heavenly Father, thank you that the light in your word is so clear, there's no mistaking it. And we don't want the devil to take away the seed that you've sown in our hearts today. We don't want to be led astray by a 1:14:45 false gospel. We want to not only hear these things, but we want to contend earnestly with all of our heart for this faith that you have delivered to the saints once and for all.
