0:00 We are continuing our study on how we can live on this earth and 0:30 in such a way that we have no regret in eternity. We are different from the animals in the sense that our future lies in eternity and not on this earth. 0:57 Most, even most human beings, when they think of the future, they mostly think of only their future on this earth. That means they save up for the future, and their future is only on this earth. 1:18 But that is the mark of a man who has understood the truth of scripture, that our life on this earth is a very short period. And we can say our entire life on earth is like a probation where God is testing us to see where we shall be in eternity. 1:56 And that is why we have promises in scripture concerning rewards for those who are faithful. And Jesus told parables about people who are faithful with what God gave to them. 2:20 He told a parables about someone who was given ten servants who were given one talent each. I want to just turn to that in Luke chapter 19. 2:44 What was Jesus trying to emphasize in this parables? He says here in Luke chapter 19, verse 12, about a certain noble man who went to a distant country to receive a kingdom and then return. 3:05 We know that is a picture of Christ who is gone. One day the kingdoms of earth will come to him and then he will return. And he called ten of his servants. 3:34 And he gave them one mina each. And they all got equal amount. You know there is another parable in Matthew 25, Where God gave, where the parable the person gave different amounts to three of his servants. 3:58 And there the message is something else. One servant got five pounds, another got two pounds, another got one pound. And that teaches another truth that God has given us all different gifts. 4:27 Some people are given more gifts, some people are given less gifts. I mean we see that in Christendom today. Just like Paul for example, he had many many gifts. And even today we find certain servants of God who have got certain unique gifts and some others who don't seem to have much. 4:55 And if God has given you more, he will expect more from you. To the one whom God had given five talents or pounds, he expected at least five more. 5:16 So you don't have to envy somebody who has got more gifts than you. If you've got less, God is gonna expect less from you. 5:37 If you've got less, God is gonna expect less from you. A person who has more opportunity to serve God, God will expect more from him. But that's not what we are looking at now. The difference in this parable is that everybody got the same amount. 5:59 That parable, as I said, relates to the gifts God has given us which is tremendously different. And that we can easily understand because when you look around, we see each person in the church has got different level of gifts. 6:27 Different level of opportunities. But here he speaks about ten servants, all of them have got exactly the same amount. And yet one of them, in verse 16, comes back with ten minas. 6:54 And another person, verse 18, could make only five out of that one. And another person, he didn't do anything with the one he had. 7:24 What is the area where all of us are equal? It's not gifts because we are different in gifts. But there's one area where God gives all of us exactly the same. 7:47 And that is what he is emphasizing in this parable. And that is what he is emphasizing in this parable. All of us are given exactly 24 hours every day. Nobody gets more, nobody gets less. 8:13 Exactly the same for everyone. Exactly the same for everyone. But what some believers do with the 24 hours is fantastically different from what other believers do with their 24 hours. Some believers just play the fool, waste their time and do nothing. 8:46 They're like the person who took this one mina and just buried it and did nothing with it. And there are others who are gripped by the fact that life is very short. They're not always kneeling down and praying, no. 9:16 No, but they realized that I have one life and I must complete what God wants me to do with this life. They don't have time to fool around and do a lot of things that other believers do. 9:38 There are many lawful things that they could do but they don't do all of them because they don't have time for it. They are gripped by the fact that God laid hold of them with a purpose. And they always are gripped by that. 9:58 And they say like the apostle Paul. There's only one thing I do in life. I press toward the mark for the price of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. The sad thing is very few believers can say there is only one thing I do in life. 10:32 A lot of believers are dabbling around in so many things. The other ones who with their one mina they may produce two minas perhaps. But those who are gripped by the calling of God upon their life they will produce the maximum like this one man produced ten. 10:54 And you don't have to be converted very early in life to do that. The apostle Paul was converted only when he was about thirty years old. 11:14 And he died when he was about sixty-seven. Many of us are saved in our teenage years. And we have been believers for a longer period than Paul was a believer on earth. 11:37 I've been a believer for a longer period than Paul was a believer on earth. But I am ashamed when I compare myself with what Paul accomplished in his life. 11:57 And Paul and I are going to stand together in eternity in heaven. Paul and I are going to stand together in eternity in heaven. Do you think we are going to be equally happy with the life we lived on earth? I mean Paul would be so satisfied when he looks back over his life. 12:27 He will say well for thirty years I had no light I went along the wrong path. He will say well for thirty years I had no light I went along the wrong path. He will say well for thirty years I had no light I went along the wrong path. 12:39 But once I understood the truth. But once I understood the truth. There was no more half-heartedness in me. Till the end of my life I pursued one thing. I realized that Jesus laid hold of me with a purpose. And I wanted to lay hold of that purpose completely before I left the earth. 13:09 Say Philippians in chapter 3. He says here in verse 13. One thing I do. There is only one thing he decided to do in life. 13:35 And what was that? He says in the last part of verse 12. I want to lay hold of that for which Christ laid hold of me. I want to lay hold of that for which Christ laid hold of me. 13:58 That means on the Damascus road Jesus laid hold of Paul. And he said Lord why have you laid hold of me? And little by little by little over the period of many years God revealed to him why he had laid hold of him. 14:22 And he never forced Paul to do that. Every day Paul had a choice to do what God wanted him to do or do his own will. He could have gone back to Tarsus and been a Christian businessman and served the Lord and supported God's work with money. 14:53 But that would be a good thing. I mean what's wrong in being a Christian businessman and supporting the Lord's work? And he could have been a good member of the church in Tarsus. 15:17 He could have lived a good holy life. But that was not God's plan for Paul. But that was not God's plan for Paul. God's plan for Paul was a very difficult path. And as he thought about that path that God laid hold of him he knew that it would involve a lot of suffering. 15:42 And the whole path that God has prepared Paul's plan for Paul, when he knew that he was in his own hands, I couldn't do it to him. See we live in an age where Christians are taught that God is only interested in making life very comfortable for you. 15:59 You know God's interested in giving you a better house. And God's interested in giving you a better car perhaps. And good health. Live a comfortable life. 16:20 And then teach your children also to live that same comfortable life. And that's what we are hearing on television nowadays. I tell you Christians are being brainwashed to miss the perfect will of God for their lives. The devil has deceived people. 16:52 Let me read to you the type of life that Paul lived. The greatest servant of God in that century. How did God allow his servant to be treated? How did God allow his servant to be treated? 17:15 2 Corinthians chapter 11. He says there are many people boasting that they are servants of God. Nowadays people boast that. I have preached the gospel in 85 countries. 17:38 I have preached to so many million people over television. So many hundreds of thousands of people have raised their hands and signed decision cards. I have done so many miracles through my ministry. 18:01 These are the empty boasts of today's preachers. Paul says in 2 Corinthians 11. Since verse 18. 18:21 Since many boast according to the flesh I will also boast. He says I am speaking in foolishness. Verse 21. He says I am speaking in foolishness. Verse 21. He says I am speaking in foolishness. Verse 21. He says I am speaking in foolishness. 18:29 Verse 21. He says I am speaking in foolishness. Verse 21. He says I am speaking in foolishness. Verse 21. He says I am speaking in foolishness. Verse 21. He says I am speaking in foolishness. Verse 21. He says I am speaking in foolishness. 18:38 Verse 21. He says I am speaking in foolishness. Verse 21. You know what Paul did? He had raised the dead. He had done fantastic miracles. Handkerchiefs from his body. Delivered people from demons. He planted churches all across the Mediterranean. 19:02 But he doesn't mention one of those things. But he doesn't mention one of those things. He doesn't mention the thousands of people who heard his message or who received Christ. He says I will tell you what I am, how I have served the Lord. 19:20 Verse 23. I have been in prison more than all of you and the others. Verse 23. I have been beaten so many times that I cannot even count it. 19:44 And I was beaten five times with 39 lashes. Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I was shipwrecked. 20:06 We say Lord is this how you treat your greatest servants? We say Lord is this how you treat your greatest servants? This was not some cheap TV evangelist collecting money from people in order to build a big mansion for himself. 20:27 This was a servant of the living God. Look how God allowed him to be treated. 24 hours he was in the sea because the ship was wrecked. Verse 26. 20:47 I have been in dangers from rivers, robbers, countrymen, gentiles, wilderness in the sea. All types of dangers. I have been through many sleepless nights. 21:13 Verse 27. I have been hungry and thirsty and often without food. See these are two different things. Sometimes he fasted because he chose to go without food. 21:34 Food was available but he fasted. At other times he wanted to eat but there was no food available. He didn't have enough money to buy food. He didn't have enough money to buy food. 21:55 Say Lord is this how you treat your greatest servants? It says further in verse 27 sometimes he didn't have a blanket to cover himself from the cold. I tell you I feel I am like a tourist compared to Paul. 22:21 I am constantly humbled before God when I read this passage. I live in a world where I see preachers and servants of God boasting about all types of things. They stand on platforms and television screens exactly like film stars. 22:53 Boasting about all types of things. Very emotional effective speakers. And if I watch them too much I will get deceived. 23:19 So I get back to passages like this and read them again and again. I say Lord I don't want to be deceived by that. This is what it means to serve God. And this keeps me on my face before God. If I want to live a life without regret in eternity. 23:45 I must not be fooled by the false gospel that is being preached today. And I have to ask myself to a life of suffering. To a life of self-denial. 24:07 To have the opportunity to live comfortably and to give it up for the sake of the gospel. That is the true gospel. If you listen to that you will have no regret in eternity. 24:27 But if you respond to the false gospel with which you are being flooded day and night. You may not believe me. But I tell you in Jesus name. You will regret all through eternity. 24:48 He who has ears to hear let him hear. God has got a plan for our life. And that plan is not a plan where we are to live comfortably and make the most of this world. 25:12 And that plan is not a plan where we are to live comfortably and make the most of this world. And that plan is not a plan where we are to live comfortably and make the most of this world. And that plan is not a plan where we are to live comfortably and make the most of this world. 25:19 And that plan is not a plan where we are to live comfortably and make the most of this world. And that plan is not a plan where we are to live comfortably and make the most of this world. And that plan is not a plan where we are to live comfortably and make the most of this world. 25:28 And that plan is not a plan where we are to live comfortably and make the most of this world. And that plan is not a plan where we are to live comfortably and make the most of this world. And that plan is not a plan where we are to live comfortably. 25:31 And take up his cross and die to himself. And die to all those desires in the flesh which want, which call us to live comfortably. And die to all those desires in the flesh which want, which call us to live comfortably. 25:53 Paul need not have chosen this type of life. He need not have done that. He could have chosen a more comfortable way. You don't have to live this type of life to go to heaven. The Lord never said to go to heaven you must be beaten 200 times on your back and be imprisoned so many times. 26:17 No, no, no. He need not have chosen this way. But he knew what Jesus had done for him. He knew that Jesus came from heaven and gave everything for him. 26:38 And his gratitude to Jesus was not going to be just empty words of praise and singing on Sunday morning once a week. His gratitude to Jesus was going to be shown in a lifetime, a lifetime of devotion and sacrifice. 27:03 Where he had the opportunity to live a comfortable Christian life and he would deny it. Where he had the opportunity to be a big dignitary in the church because of his scholarly knowledge of the Bible. 27:30 But he gave it up. He didn't want a position. He didn't want any honor. He didn't want a position. He didn't want any honor. He was treated like the scum of the earth. They called him a false prophet and heretic and false teacher and all types of bad names they gave him. 27:55 He could have been a rich man. You know, the very fact that he grew up in Tarsus indicates that he came from a very rich family because it's only the rich Jewish businessman who went to Tarsus. 28:15 He could have gone back there and lived with his family fortune and been a good Christian. 28:36 But how could he express his gratitude to Jesus Christ with that type of Christianity. There is another passage of scripture which I read often to deliver me from the deception of today's Christendom. 28:59 You know, we are all capable of being brainwashed if we listen or watch something very frequently. You know, we all have such a capability that our mind changes, our thoughts changes. If we read certain types of literature, the same type of literature, after a few years your mind will be brainwashed to think like that. 29:24 That's how the communists get a hold of people's minds. And when I see a lot of things that are being shown on Christian television today, I know that if I keep watching that, watching that, watching that, watching that, watching that day after day after day, 29:48 my mind will be brainwashed into a type of Christianity which is not found in the Bible. So, to save myself, I get back to scripture. And not just those few verses that if you trust the Lord, you can claim this thing and that thing and the other thing in the world. 30:14 I read passages like we just read in 2 Corinthians 11. And another passage I read is 1 Corinthians chapter 4. Again, Paul, this is the greatest servant of God describing his life. 30:41 How is this great servant of God? How did he live? Thank God he was honest to tell us how he lived. He did not have that false humility which said, no, no, no, I won't tell anybody how I lived. He was inspired by the Holy Spirit to tell us something of the sacrifices he made. 31:15 1 Corinthians 4 verse 10. He is comparing himself with the Corinthian Christians who lived a very comfortable Christian life. They were carnal and defeated by sin. But they believed in a prosperous Christianity. 31:38 And so he says, we are fools for Christ's sake but you are all very prudent in Christ. How were they clever in Christ? They were clever to get the best in this world and the best in heaven. 32:04 The fools are those who suffer in this world and seek glory in heaven. The clever people are, they say, hey, you don't have to live like that man. 32:24 You can have the best in this world and the best in heaven too. That's what makes people carnal like the Corinthians. That's what leaves them like babes spiritually. They don't become spiritual giants like Paul. 32:48 Those are the people who love regret all through eternal ages. They are the people about whom it is described in chapter 3 verse 15. That when their work is tested in the final day. 33:10 Their entire life will be burnt up even though they may be saved and spend their eternity in heaven. The Bible says that they can live in their life. But their whole life's work and their life will fall asleep. Imagine that. 33:24 Your sins are forgiven. But God says you wasted your life, my son. Your sins are all forgiven, my daughter. But you wasted your life listening to that counterfeit gospel. My daughter, you have wasted your life listening to that counterfeit gospel. 33:44 You tried to get the best in both worlds and it doesn't work that way. You were fooled by those preachers who preached that to you because you didn't read my word. 34:04 Those TV preachers were your heroes and not the apostle Paul. This is my hero. This is the man I want to follow who said follow me as I follow Christ. And I don't see anyone today in all these famous preachers who is even 1% of this man, the apostle Paul. 34:34 I'm not impressed by all these fellows. But this is the man. He said we are fools for Christ. He said we are fools for Christ. He said we are fools for Christ. But you fellows are very clever, aren't you? He's being sarcastic. 34:40 We are weak but you are strong. We are weak but you are strong. Were they strong? They were strong in the world but they were weak spiritually. He said you are all very distant. They were strong in the world but they were weak spiritually. 34:44 He said you are all very distinguished in this world. But in this world we are without any honor. He said we are fools for Christ. He said we are fools for Christ. He said we are fools for Christ. He said we are fools for Christ. 34:53 He said we are fools for Christ. He is being sarcastic. We are weak but you are strong. Were they strong? They were strong in the world but they were weak spiritually. He said you are all very distinguished in this world but in this world we are without any honor. 35:14 Do you think the greatest servant of God is the one who is most distinguished in this world? So many preachers and Christian servants of God they are seeking for honor in this world. 35:34 They want titles. They want degrees. They want awards. And when they get some worldly award they think that's a great honor. Do you think Jesus would have got a Nobel Peace Prize if he was living on earth today? 35:59 Do you think Paul would have got it? Do you think Paul would have got it? Paul was a troublemaker wherever he went. That would be a revival and a riot in every city he went to. 36:20 Because he was not there to please men and he never wanted any awards from man. He wasn't hanging around with the big dignitaries and the chief minister and the president when he went to different countries. Jesus also wasn't hanging around with such people. 36:41 That is all today's Christendom. Shallow, backslidden, carnal, twenty-first century Christianity. That seeks honor from worldly people. So he says you fellows are all distinguished but we are without honor. 37:03 To this hour, verse 11, we are hungry and thirsty and poor clothed. You wouldn't have been impressed by Paul's suit of clothes when he stood up to speak somewhere. 37:25 That is all today's preachers. Who spend hundreds of thousands of rupees on their clothes and their suits and all that. To impress people. Where do they get their money from? 37:46 Collecting it from poor people. Fooling them that God will bless you if you give me money so that I can buy this suit. Deceivers of the first order. Thieves, robbers who come into God's house. 38:07 To take money from simple poor believers. Paul didn't belong to that category. He worked with his hands and earned his own living. So that he would not be a burden to other people. And he didn't have money to buy all those expensive suits. 38:34 He was poorly clothed. Roughly treated and homeless. Didn't he believe that if you have faith you can claim anything? Like we are taught today. I pray that the Holy Spirit will open your eyes to see the truth. 38:58 He says we toil working with our own hands. When people cursed him he didn't curse back. It says we bless those who curse back. He says we bless those who curse us. 39:18 When we are persecuted for the faith we endure it. Verse 13. When we are slandered. When people tell false stories about us. We just keep quiet and we conciliate. God's greatest servants are slandered. 39:48 The carnal Corinthians are honored. And those who were living in the world. Those who are living in the world. They have got praise. Paul was slandered as a false prophet. Paul was slandered as a false prophet. As a heretic and false teacher. 40:05 Every servant of God in the Old Testament and the New Testament was slandered as a false teacher and a heretic. Jesus Christ was slandered like that. Paul was slandered like that. 40:25 Paul was slandered like that. These were the greatest men in the eyes of God. But we are so afraid of such names being given to us. You know Jesus once said that if they have called the head of the house Beelzebub, how much more they will call you the members of the family? येशु कहता है यदि घराने के सिर को उन्होंने बिलजिबॉल ये शैतान का है तो तुम्हारे साथ क्या नहीं करेंगे? 41:46 Don't be fooled by this Christianity which brings you the honor of this world. तुम इस मसीह के साथ, इस मसीहत के साथ, फस्ना जाओ. जो कहता है कि मसीह बनना, आराम से जीना है. He says we are slandered. Paulus कहता है हमें बदनाम किया गया है. 41:59 And we have become, verse 13, as the scum of this world, the dregs of all things until now. God has made us, verse 9, exhibited us apostles as last of all on this earth. 42:23 The greatest apostles were last. Paul was last in the eyes of the world. There was only one person underneath him. 42:44 That was Jesus himself. He was despised and rejected of all men. Today, people say they are following this Jesus who was despised and rejected of all men. And they are God honor. 43:07 They must be following another Jesus. You read Isaiah 53, the real Jesus was despised and rejected by all men. See, it's very important for us to see that true Christianity has never been accepted by this world. 43:30 Because true Christianity says deny yourself. Give up your right to live for yourself. Give up the love of money. 43:52 When was the last time you heard a message which says the love of money is the root of all evil? I've been a believer for 47 years. I can't think of one time I heard a preacher get up and preach a whole message on the love of money is the root of all evil. 44:13 That's in 1 Timothy 6:10. Jesus said in Luke 16:13 If you love God, you cannot love money. Have you ever heard anybody preach that? 44:35 Have you heard any of your television preachers preach that? I preached it. I preached it numerous times. And they called me a false preacher. It doesn't bother me because the one who is going to judge me in the final day is not any of these people. 44:56 I'm trying to open your eyes to see the truth. If you want to live a life without regret in eternity, I'll give you a little bit of advice. 45:17 Read the scriptures. Some time ago, when I, you know, in order to understand what was being preached all over India on Christian television, I watched and watched and watched and watched so many programs for many hours. 45:38 And you know what I discovered? Even I was getting brainwashed. I said, Lord, please help me. I said, I've got to read the scriptures. 45:58 Okay, I've absorbed what all these preachers have told me now. I've understood, I'm supposed to have faith to become prosperous and rich and healthy and strong and all this. I'm supposed to have a better car than the one I have now. 46:15 I'm supposed to have faith to have a better house. Okay, Lord, let me come now to you what you said. And I put all this out of my mind. And I went to Matthew chapter 5. And I went to Matthew chapter 5. And I began to read and meditate on what my Savior said in Matthew 5, 6 and 7. 46:35 And I went to Matthew chapter 5. And I began to read and meditate on what my Savior said in Matthew 5, 6 and 7. And you know what I did? I took a notebook. I wanted to be delivered from this brainwashing. 46:57 I wanted to be delivered from this brainwashing. I took a notebook. I took a notebook. I took a notebook. And I started. And I studied just four Gospels. Matthew Mark, Luke and John. And I wrote down every subject that Jesus spoke about. 47:23 And if he spoke about it a second time, I'd put that reference. He spoke on that a second time. There was a Bible study. The subjects that Jesus spoke on. I didn't get it from any book. I just read it here and wrote it and made my own notes. 47:47 I discovered. The first thing that Jesus preached. Matthew 4, 17. Repent. That is the word you hardly ever hear today. 48:10 Repent. Turn from your sin. Turn from your lusting with your eyes. Turn from your internet pornography. Give up your jealousy. Give up your love of money. Give up your anger. 48:31 Give up your unforgiving attitude to that other person. Give up your pride. Give up your selfish way of living. Repent. Repent. I said, Lord, make me a preacher of repentance. 48:53 That's what John the Baptist preached. That's what Jesus preached. That's what Peter preached on the day of Pentecost. He preached on the day of Pentecost. Acts 20. Paul said, "Wherever I go, I preach repentance." He said, "Wherever I go, I preach repentance." 49:11 He said, "Where I'm going, I'm going to pray." He said, "Where I'm going, I'm going to pray." We are being fooled by another gospel today. And then Jesus said, "Follow me." Matthew 4:19. That's the other thing he said. And then Jesus said, "Follow me." 49:21 Matthew 4:19. That's the other thing he said. Follow me. Follow me. Follow me. Follow me. Follow me. That's what we got to preach. Follow Jesus' example. Live like he lived. He did not live in a grand style. He didn't have a place to even lay his head. 49:33 Follow him. And then I went through the Sermon on the Mount. Oh, what a different message it was from what I was hearing from today's preacher. And then I went through the Sermon on the Mount. Oh, what a different message it was from what I was hearing from today's preacher. 49:50 And then I went through the Sermon on the Mount. Oh, what a different message it was from what I was hearing from today's preacher. Here it spoke about purity. Here it spoke about humility. 50:11 He was not speaking about better houses and better land. He was talking about riches in heaven. He was talking about serving others, blessing them. He was talking about being persecuted for his name's sake. 50:31 He was talking about overcoming anger to such an extent that you never get angry. Never lusting once with your eyes to a thought of a woman. Never telling lies are yes is always yes. 50:52 I said, Lord, this is so different from what I am hearing. And I made a study of all the Gospels to see all that Jesus said. And it protected me from the false gospel I was listening. 51:14 He who has years to hear, let him hear. If you want to know the truth, do what I did. Take your Bible and study what Jesus preached. And you will find it is a completely different Gospel from what you are hearing nowadays. 51:39 And then you go into the Epistles, you will find that's what the Apostles preached. Because they wanted to prepare people for eternity. The Bible says in Ephesians in chapter 2. 52:05 Ephesians chapter 2, we read these words. Ephesians chapter 2, we read these words. It talks about, first of all, we are saved by grace through faith, not of works in verse 8. There is no place for works in our being forgiven and justified. 52:33 All your works are like filthy rags no matter how much you do. Forgiveness of sins and being justified by God is a free gift. 52:57 That's the foundation of the Christian life. Zero works. Zero works. Simply receiving by faith. That all that Jesus did for me on the cross. That he died for me. A wretch like me. That he shed his blood. And I come to him and say, Lord, with empty hands I receive your forgiveness. 53:33 And I become a child of God. That is the foundation. But how many people are there in the world who just lay a foundation and don't build anything more? Would you ever lay a foundation and not build a house on it? But many of you, that's exactly what you have done in your Christian life. 54:05 You have laid the foundation. You have accepted Christ. You have been baptized in water. You are baptized in the Holy Spirit. That's the foundation. What about the superstructure? In the foundation, there are no works. It says, by grace are you saved through faith, not a works. 54:20 But in the superstructure, there are to be plenty of works. That's in verse 10. 54:46 In the foundation, it says, not as a result of works. No works. No works. No works in the foundation. No works. No works in the foundation. No works. No works in the foundation. No works in the foundation. No works in the foundation. 54:59 No works in the foundation. No works in the foundation. No works in the foundation. No works in the foundation. No works in the foundation. No works in the foundation. No works in the foundation. But in the superstructure. 55:07 No works in the foundation. No works in the foundation. No works in the foundation. No works in the foundation. No works in the foundation. No works in the foundation. No works in the foundation. No works in the foundation. 55:15 No works in the foundation. But in the superstructure. Many people have confused the superstructure with the foundation. Many people have confused the superstructure with the foundation. Many people have confused the superstructure with the foundation. 55:20 Many people have confused the superstructure with the foundation. Many people have confused the superstructure with the foundation. Many people have confused the superstructure with the foundation. Many people have confused the superstructure with the foundation. 55:24 Many people have confused the superstructure with the foundation. Many people have confused the superstructure with the foundation. Many people have confused the superstructure with the foundation. Many people have confused the superstructure with the foundation. 55:28 Many people have confused the superstructure with the foundation. And their Christian life is no works in the foundation and no works in the superstructure also. It doesn't matter what we do or what we don't do. There is a lot of difference between foundation and superstructure. 55:45 There is a lot of difference between foundation and superstructure. In a foundation you don't put doors and windows and all that. Nobody is so crazy to put a door in a foundation. No works. No works. Solid granite stones and concrete. 56:05 That's the foundation. But when it comes to the superstructure. We have doors, windows, so many things. We know that even in a building there is a difference between foundation and superstructure. 56:27 Jesus spoke about a foolish man who laid a foundation and never completed the building. Here is the superstructure. A plan that God made long ago for you to fulfill and walk in it. 56:47 Do you know that long before you were born God made a plan for your life? And God wants you to fulfill that before you leave this earth. And God wants you to fulfill that before you leave this earth. 57:11 At the end of Jesus' life he could say, Father, John 17:4, I have finished the work you gave me to do. The Apostle Paul said in 2 Timothy 4, I have finished my course. 57:33 I know I got saved very late in life when I was 30 years old. Paul says, I am 67 now, I am about to die. But I have finished my course. But I have finished my course. The plan God had for me to fulfill. 57:54 I finished it. I know it meant suffering, being beaten, shipwrecked and all, but I finished my course. What about you, my brother? If you keep listening to all this trash, this false gospel, you will never finish your course. I will tell you that. 58:15 But if you listen to the gospel written in the scriptures. Of taking up the cross, denying yourself, hating this world, hating this world, hating this world, and hating money, and earthly glory, then you will complete your course. 58:48 God has got a plan for your life. When I was a young 21-year-old Christian, I had just taken baptism. I was a naval officer here in Bombay. God gripped me with one truth. 59:09 I have got a plan for your life. I said, Lord, please help me to fulfill it. That was 46 years ago. 59:30 And I said, Lord, there's only one thing I want to do on this earth. I want to fulfill that plan. I don't care what it costs me. I don't care what people say about me. Today, I can look back with great satisfaction. 59:53 That I have not wasted my life. Dear brother, sister. What about you? Time is going on. One of these days, Christ will come. I hope you would have finished the course God appointed for you before you leave this earth. 1:00:16 I ask that before you take it, you will complete it. How much you have in your bank account won't matter that day. How big a house you lived in won't count for anything. Whether you drove a scooter or a car won't make any difference in that day. 1:00:41 What honors you got in the world fit for the trash can. The only thing that will matter in that day is, did you fulfill the plan God made for you before you were born. If you have wasted many years of your past life, you can't do anything about it now. 1:01:08 But you can do something from today onwards. Say Lord of the rest of my life I give to you. Let's pray. Spar our heads before God. Dear brother, sister. Do you want to live a life where you have no regrets in eternity? 1:01:30 Take your life seriously from today. You don't have to listen to my words. But please listen to the new testament. Read that and follow it. 1:01:50 That is the light and you will not be deceived. Heavenly Father. In the midst of deception, help us to see your light. To walk in Jesus' footsteps. We pray in Jesus' name. 1:02:11 Amen.
