Brother Raindra will come and translate into We have spoken till now about the 30:25 overcoming life and the reason we spent three sessions on that is because that is how we can build fellowship. The final goal of God is not just we 30:46 live an individual overcoming life. He wants us all to come together and build fellowship. That is much more difficult 31:05 than living an overcoming life. because living an overcoming life I have to deal only with myself and if I decide I'm going to die 31:22 to myself every day and I'm determined to set the Lord in front of me always and And I've decided to sacrifice 31:39 everything for the Lord. And I destroy every idol in my life. I seek God to be filled with the Holy Spirit. I come to an overcoming 31:59 life. But when I want to build fellowship then I have to work with another person that is much more difficult than working with myself because even though he's a 32:19 brother in Christ he may irritate me in some way or he may not have the same view as me in some matter. Not in a major 32:37 matter. Major things we may be agreed but small things can bring little friction. It's very difficult for two people even among believers to become one. And yet that was the prayer of Jesus 33:02 Christ. Many times he prayed. See John chapter 17. Throughout his life Jesus told his disciples, you must take up the cross every day and follow me. But he never told them about becoming 33:27 one. All the three and a half years told them you mustn't get angry. You mustn't lust with your eyes. You must always speak the truth. Love your enemies. When you pray, don't let people 33:45 know about it. When you fast, don't let people know about it. Don't be anxious. Don't love money. Don't judge others. Be careful with the words you speak. Obey my 34:03 commandments. Love me more than anybody else. All concerns me personally, right? For three and a half years. That's all he said. Then on the last 34:20 day in the last 10 minutes, the last 10 minutes of his three and a half year ministry, just before he went to the cross, he gathered those 11 34:44 disciples and he said, "Now I'm going to Pray John chapter 17. Now he's praying to the father. The 11 disciples are listening. John wrote 35:00 this 65 years after he heard this prayer. Matthew never wrote about this. He was 35:18 there. But John remembered it for 65 years. It made a deep impression on him. That this is what my Lord prayed. Father, I have glorified 35:39 you. I have revealed yourself to them. They know you're the father. I'm not in the world now. Please keep these people. Make them holy. John 17:17. Don't take them out of the world. 36:01 Verse 15. Take them from evil. As you sent me, verse 18, I'm also sending them. And I also pray for others who will believe in them through them through 36:19 them. Verse 20 verses again about personal life. And then suddenly he prays. I am praying verse 21 that they 36:35 all may be one just as you and I are one. in three and a half years of ministry. He never said that even once before he went to the 36:54 cross. Even in this prayer for 20 verses he doesn't talk about it. And then suddenly in the last six verses they may be one verse 22 They may be one as we are 37:14 one. Verse 23, they may be perfect in unity. They may behold my glory so that the world may know that you sent me. So there was a tremendous burden. 37:36 The last thing that Jesus prayed was that they should become one. As the father was in heaven and he on earth were one. How did the father in heaven and 37:58 Jesus on earth become one? What is the secret? only one secret. We need to understand that John 6:38, he said, "I came from heaven never 38:19 to do my own will but the will of him who sent me." How is he became one with the father? Whenever the father said something, even if Jesus did not like 38:38 it, he did it. We may say that Jesus always liked what the father wanted. I'm not so sure. For 38:54 example, when he was a eight-year-old boy and his father told him, "Obey Joseph and Mary." You tell me. Many of you have got 39:12 six, seven, eight year old children. Do they like to obey you in everything? 365 days of the year. I've never seen a child like that 39:29 in the world because we are asking them to do something. They want want to do something else. They don't want to commit murder or adultery or anything like that. I'm not talking about like that. Not sinful things. 39:52 They want to go and play when you want them to do something else. Haven't we all had that experience? All parents have this experience. You tell your children to do 40:10 something. They say, "Mommy, wait. I've got something else to do." What is that other thing? It's not some sinful thing. Maybe there's some playing some video games or outside game or some other some other book they're reading. Nothing 40:31 sinful, but they don't want to do what you tell them to do. It's not easy for an 8-year-old to obey father and mother even for one day completely. To get a child to obey you 40:48 100% for 24 hours is very difficult. And Jesus, the father told Jesus to obey Joseph and Mary for 30 years. Joseph may have died earlier, but 41:07 he had to obey Mary for 30 years. That was not easy. But he said, "Father, I'll obey you." He wasn't obeying Joseph and Mary. He was obeying the father in heaven. That's what made it easy for 41:32 him. My father has told me to obey Joseph Mary. I'll do it. That became his habit throughout his life. My father has allowed these people to call me Bilybo, prince of devils. Okay, I'll accept 41:56 it. You know, David once said in 2 Samuel 15, "This man Shimi is cursing me. God has allowed him to curse me. I accept it." If David could say that, Jesus could 42:14 also say much easily. God has allowed these people to call me prince of devils. Okay? It's not easy when somebody calls you a devil. Spit on 42:34 you. Jesus said, "Father, you allowed that man to spit on me. Okay, I'll accept it. That is how he became one with the father. And any brother or sister who lives like that seeking to do the will 42:54 of God will become one with the father. And when your will is one with the father's, when your will is one with the father's will, The whole power of God will be 43:14 supporting you in your life, in your ministry, in your health, in your finances, in everything in life. You have aligned yourself with the 43:34 will of God. It's like you know in the railway track you see these railway tracks one line is exactly parallel to the other line so the train runs 44:00 smoothly. If one of those lines is even 1 in or 2 in away few centimeters of this way. The train will be derailed right 44:18 there. That is the picture I get. If God's will is like this and my I align myself absolutely straight with his will, God's plan for my life will run 44:37 smoothly like a train. Any difficulty there will be no frustration, no accidents, nothing Everything that happens, God will make 44:56 it work for his good and for my good. Just like keep your will parallel to his. That's the secret. God's plan will run smoothly. 45:16 Those are the people whom God can use the most in this world. Jesus was perfect in that. As we seek to become like that, God's plan will move smoothly in our life. You get another brother like 45:40 that. That's like one more compartment added in the train. that is also going in the same way and another one another one all together that is the fellowship in a church nobody's got a desire to go 45:59 another direction. So that's very difficult because we are all so strong willed. When you come to a conference like this, yes, I'm going to be dedicated. I'm going to really live for God. We say, but within one day something 46:22 happens in the home and there is a clash or something happens in the church and there's a misunderstanding. And your fellowship with somebody is broken. If you want to know how 46:38 difficult it is for two people to become one, go and ask any married couple in the whole world. It's not easy. If they are honest with you, they will tell you it is a very 46:57 difficult thing. But that is what Jesus came to do. His prayer is they must be one like you and I are one. So that is why each of us must seek to live an individual overcoming life. So an overcoming life is where you love 47:21 Jesus more than anything and anyone in the world and where you never want to do your own will in anything where you have no idol where you're willing to sacrifice 47:40 everything for the sake of Christ and his church and God brings you in fellowship with one more person like that. That is the best type of person to get married to. Someone who's got also the same 48:01 desire to deny herself and follow the Lord. It's not easy to find. If you are like that then God will help you to find someone like that and then he will add one more family to 48:20 you who also have the same desire and then another and then another and that becomes a church like a family. We don't want to you know have meetings and get 500 people together and start a church. That is how some people start a 48:40 church. In 40 years, we never started one CFC church like that. We've always started with two or three or four or five in a small. Some of you don't know the history of Hyderabad. We struggled here 49:03 for I think 20 years. We could do nothing. because we didn't get the right people. Everything was a failure. I never came here for any 49:21 public meetings till the year 2000. That was God's plan. I think 2000 I came for the first public meeting. It was not organized by CFC. 49:40 CFC, some other brother organized it. Then little by little, God began to build something here. But it was because God found a few people who are willing to deny themselves. I did not build a church 50:02 here. I tried many years. I failed. Jesus built his church. That is how he built the church in Bangalore and that is how he built the church [Music] everywhere. Some people think I built the church in Bangalore. Jesus built 50:26 it. 1975 he started before that in 7273 I tried failed. That is like Ishmael. God said you can't do 50:42 it. I said yes Lord I cannot build your church. I will never try to do it. Then God did it. And all these other places where there are churches today you don't know. I will tell you 51:02 the truth. I did not plant or build a church even in one of those places. You say, "Oh, that is brother Zach is trying to is very humble." So he says that I'm not trying to be humble. I'm 51:23 telling you the truth. Jesus gathered people and built a church. I just went and helped them some other place Jesus built his church and he told me to go and help them that's all 51:46 all places here or Australia or America anywhere or Dubai anywhere particularly in Tamilad Kerala Kerala Karnataka I did not build 52:04 it. God has to find one or two people and he has to gather them together and build a church. Some of those people remain humble. If they remain humble, God keeps 52:23 on blessing their work. Some of them after some time become proud that also I've seen in some CFC churches they say ah I am the one whom God has used 52:42 here then I can see that I can see that church spiritually going down CFC church CFC going down they can't see it I can see it clearly and I warn 53:00 them. I warn the elders things are not going well. Some of them listen to me. Some of them say, "No, brother Zach, everything is going well." Okay, I don't say anything. Because Jesus said, "He who 53:21 has ears to hear, let him hear. It's very difficult to remain humble after God has blessed you. If God has not blessed you, it's very easy to be humble. When your life is a mess and 53:41 you're defeated by sin, it's very easy to be humble because you're so frequently falling. You get angry so often. You have jealousy and strife and murmuring so 53:59 often. And so you say, "Lord, I'm a sinner. I'm humble." That is the humility of the sinner. What type of humility did Jesus have? Jesus said, "Learn from me for I 54:17 am humble." That is another type of humility. That is the humility of a holy man. The humility of one who has never sinned. That is another type of humility from the humility of the sinner. The sinner who's standing in the 54:40 corner of the temple saying, "Lord, be merciful to me a sinner." He's humble. That's good. Or the thief on the cross, he says, "I'm guilty. Have mercy on me." That's good. We must all learn that 54:59 first. But we mustn't remain there. Jesus did not say, "Learn humility from that thief on the cross all your life. Learned that in the beginning. or the tax collector who was saying Lord be merciful to me a sinner. No learn humility from him in 55:22 the beginning. After that Jesus said I am humble. Learn from me. What type of humility is that? The humility of a man who was living in victory over sin every single 55:39 moment of every single day. Have you learned that where God is blessing you mightily in your life, in your family, your children are following the Lord. 55:59 God is blessing your ministry. God is blessing your church. And still you are the humblest person in that church. You still feel that the only thing you are fit for is to wash people's feet. That's all. Where do we find people like 56:19 that? Those are the only people who can build the church. And I pray that God will raise up brothers and sisters like that in Andra Andrades. God needs such people. 56:39 I often say, "Lord, I'm 76 years old. I've been working with CFC churches for more than 40 years. died when he was 57:02 67 and Peter also around that age. Apart from John, all the other apostles died before they were 70 years old. John lived till about 95 or 57:20 something. God decides that. But no, no apostle lives forever. And do you know what happened to the churches after the apostles died? I'll give you one example. In the first 57:39 century, the most spiritual church was the church in Ephesus. How do you know the way a teacher teaches his students? Master, the standard of 58:01 education. By that you can know the quality of the students. For example, if a teacher is teaching geometry, this is not second standard. This may be fifth or sixth standard. 58:21 or a teacher is teaching calculus. This is probably 12th standard or firstderee college maybe. So you listening to the subject 58:38 you say oh this is a higher level of students. So you read Corinthians. Yeah these are all kindergarten class. But you read Ephesians, these are very high 58:59 level. See what level he's teaching. That was the blessed church in those days. One reason Paul was there for three years more than he was in any other place. Paul was a man who was always 59:23 traveling. But for some reason, he stayed three years in Ephesus. He stayed one and a half years in Corinth. But in Corinth, the result was not so good. Even though he stayed one and a half 59:42 years. Yeah. We know from Acts chapter 18 that he stayed one and a half years in Corinth. When you read in Acts 20, first of all, Acts 1:00:06 18:14, uh, verse 11, sorry, Acts 18:11, Paul settled in Corinth for one and a half years, but they still remained in kindergarten. But in Ephesus, Acts 1:00:25 20 verse 17, he called the elders in Ephesus and he said to them, you know, verse 31 that for three years, day and night, 1:00:41 I preached to you with tears. He never stayed that long in any place. And there the result was very good. You can see by how he writes Ephesians. 1:01:02 But the elders there became puffed up. Oh, we are the best church. Paul stayed, you know, Paul stayed here for three years more than anywhere else. We are special in God's 1:01:24 eyes. And whenever anybody gets ideas like this, I am a special brother. I a special sister. Immediately they start going down. That's what happened. So Paul tells them 1:01:45 Paul was a prophet. He could look into the future because God showed him what is going to happen in the future. God sometimes shows it to some of his servants. He says, "Paul, I'm going to 1:02:05 show you what's going to happen here." And he told those people what God showed him. He said, "I'm telling you what's going to happen after I leave. I've been here 3 years. Very good 1:02:23 church. But after I leave, verse 29, savage wolves will come in and tear apart all the sheep here. Not one wolf, many wolves. Agents of 1:02:44 Satan waiting outside the door. Why can't they come in now? Why couldn't they come for three years? Because the man of God, Paul, is there. The devil was afraid of him. 1:03:03 He once said, "Jesus I know and Paul I know, but all these other fellows are useless." You read that in Acts 19. The devil recognized Paul just like he recognized Jesus. 1:03:21 But so he the devil told his agents, "You wait. You have no chance in this church as long as Paul is sitting here. But he's not going to be there forever. He'll have to go because he's got responsibility in 1:03:41 other churches also or he will die. Then Satan told his agents then you can go because these other elders will not be able to stand like Paul. You can just wipe them out. 1:04:01 That's what he said. The wolves will come in. Why couldn't they come in for those three years? Because Paul was sitting there. One man kept all the wolves of the devil away for three years. But the moment he was gone, the 1:04:21 wolves came right in. And not only they destroyed the sheep. The wolves attacked the elders also. Those elders were weak like women. They were not 1:04:41 strong in the Lord. And he says, you know what is going to happen? Verse 30. You five of you elders sitting here. You also will start saying perverse things. You will lose your 1:05:05 unity. Now you're all united. Paul says because I'm here, you respect me. You're afraid of me. So you're all united. But once I go, This unity that five of you 1:05:23 have is the devil's going to come and pull it apart. He will whisper something in your ear against the other brother. And he will whisper something in her his ear against this brother. And that brother, the devil will whisper something in his wife's 1:05:43 ear. And the wife will go and tell the husband. And that foolish elder will listen to his wife and he will have a problem with the other elders after some 1:06:00 time. You will draw away verse 30 disciples after yourself and you five will start your own groups. And it happened and the church was 1:06:21 destroyed. Today you go to Ephesus. Today they're all Muslims there. Now it's in Turkey. There's no church. Even at the end of the first century, the church was falling apart. Revelation chapter 2, Paul, the Lord 1:06:42 says, "I will drecognize you as a church because you left your love for me. You left your first love. You don't love one another. You don't love me." It's a very difficult thing to 1:07:01 build a church. You know how difficult it is to build unity between husband and wife. All of you married people know that you are you won't divorce your husband or 1:07:20 wife. I'm sure you love each other. You serve each other. But you fight and you quarrel. Okay, that's all right. But you don't even ask forgiveness from one another. That's 1:07:41 terrible. See, wherever I go in different homes, there are small children there, seven, eight, nine years old, maybe two or three children. I asked them a question. 1:07:59 Do your children fight with each other? Children are honest. They don't tell lies. Not in this matter. Every home they have told me, "Yes, uncle, we fight with each other." I say, "I have great hope for 1:08:23 you because you're honest. If you had s no uncle, we don't fight. If you had said that, I had said you're liars. I I have no hope for you. But because you're 1:08:40 honest, there's hope for you. There's always hope for honest people. But I also tell them when you fight in five minutes, you have forgiven each other and become friends. Right? They say yes. I said that is the 1:09:01 difference between children and older people. You fight in five minutes you become friends. Husband and wife fight five days they won't talk to each other. Because they are old. They are not like children. And some brothers 1:09:20 fight five years they will not. That is the problem. That's why Jesus said you must become like little children. There are some disagreements. It doesn't matter. But in five minutes everything is settled. Isn't it wonderful if we can 1:09:43 have a church like that? Not that you never fall. As soon as you fall, you apologize. Say, "I'm sorry. It is my fault. Please forgive me." Very 1:10:02 difficult to say that because we are so proud. How shall we build fellowship to all married people who newly married people? I always give this advice. Sometimes they ask me, "Brother J, can you give me one sentence advice for 1:10:21 married people?" Sure. Be quick to ask forgiveness from each other. And be quick to forgive one another. All of you young people who are 1:10:39 not yet married, practice it now. Practice You know how to ask forgiveness. That's another thing I must tell you. How do you ask forgiveness from somebody? This is how many people 1:11:00 ask. If I have hurt you, please forgive me. That is not the way to ask. That is saying, "I don't think I've hurt you, but if you are so stupid to think I've hurt 1:11:19 you, then please forgive me." Is that the way to ask forgiveness? If I have hurt you, I don't believe it. But if you're so stupid to think like that, forgive me. 1:11:37 you're actually not asking forgiveness. You're just insulting the other person. So never use the word if. If is used when we are proud. You know how you must say 1:11:56 it. I'm sorry. I hurt you. Please forgive me. Okay. Hey, how shall we do it now? How shall we set it 1:12:11 right? That is a mature way of doing it. You know what it means to behave like God? Do you know there's a verse in the Bible about a man who behaves like God? Second Thessalonians 1:12:32 2, it's talking about the Antichrist. The Antichrist. 2 Thessalonians 2:4. [Music] He opposes and exalts himself above 1:12:49 every god or object of worship so that he takes his seat in the temple of God displaying himself as God. This is 1:13:08 Antichrist. He displays himself as God. Okay. Now turn to 1 John 2 verse 18. Children, it is the last 1:13:28 hour. And you heard that antichrist is coming. That is the one who sits in the temple as God. But even now there are many small small antichrists. They were with 1:13:46 us. Verse 20 19. But they went out from us. These small antichrist were sitting in our church. And they left. What is the spirit of the antichrist? To behave like 1:14:04 God. Now there are many ways to behave like God. When a pastor tells you, you cannot find the will of God without asking me. I will tell you what the will of God is. That is spirit of 1:14:23 antichrist because he's behaving like God. You have to consult me. Why do I have to consult him? Is he God or something? No. You can find God's will yourself. You don't have to come to me or to somebody else. that is one way people behave like 1:14:44 God or when a pastor says give me your money there's only one person in the universe who can say give me your money that is God but the pastor says give me he is behaving like 1:15:03 god or when somebody tries to control your Listen to me. If you don't obey me, you'll be cursed. Who's this talking? God. People talk like 1:15:22 that. Don't listen to such people. Spirit of the antichrist. He may call himself pastor or anything. Don't be afraid of them. You've got the Holy Spirit. Listen to God. You can consult with older people, 1:15:42 but don't have to be a slave to anybody. Sometimes people come to consult me about something. I can I can spend one hour giving them advice. And when they going away, you know what I tell 1:16:00 them? Now, one more thing. Don't do what I say. You go home, pray to God and say, "Lord, is this right advice I got or you wanted me to do something [Music] 1:16:18 else? I want you to be connected with God. If God tells you to do it, do it." And there are some brothers who don't do what I say. I say, "I'm quite happy. I'm glad you're listening to God. See, I'm afraid of those who respect me 1:16:38 so much. I'm more afraid to give advice to people who respect me because I'm afraid they'll do what I say. That's why I never make any marriage proposal to anyone because they will next week 1:16:56 itself they say God has told me I do it. So I never tell. I'm afraid to tell them. Even if I think two people are good for each other, I'll tell another brother, please go and tell them because then they will be honest to 1:17:17 say whether they feel free or not. Don't be afraid of a man who tries to control you. These are the ways people behave like God. And one more way When a person never 1:17:35 apologizes, he is behaving like God. As long as we live on this earth, we will all make mistakes. I want to give you a good bit of advice. Don't act like God. That is the 1:19:13 spirit of the antichrist. Be quick to ask forgiveness even from people younger than you. And never use the word if. Say I made a mistake. 1:19:34 And never think in any problem that all the fault is on the other side. In all problems that at least some fault is on one side, some fault on the other side. You see very clearly the other person's 1:19:55 fault very clear and you don't see your fault at all and the other person sees your fault very clearly and he doesn't see his fault. How will they become one? You know the difference between a 1:20:15 bathroom mirror and a driving mirror? Bathroom, driving. What is the difference? You tell me. In bathroom mirror, whose face do you [Music] see? Your own 1:20:33 face in driving mirror, somebody else. What type of mirror you looking at? You change all your driving mirrors to bathroom mirrors. Leave the driving mirror in the 1:20:55 scooter and the car. There it is. Okay. It will save you from accidents. But spiritually don't have any driving mirrors only bathroom mirrors. In other words, this is the mirror 1:21:13 Bible. It says that James chapter one uh verse 25. If a man looks into the perfect law of liberty, it's like a man who looks into 1:21:33 a mirror. Yeah. In verse 23 onwards, but he can look into the mirror and forget what he's like, what does he see in the mirror? 1:21:53 His his face and that is called the law of liberty 25. So God's word is a law of liberty. mirror in which verse 23 I see my face when I see my face I see the dirt 1:22:15 in my face not in his face. So when you read the word of God let me ask you is this a driving mirror or a bathroom mirror? When you read the word of 1:22:34 God, say, "Ah, I this is I must give this verse to my wife or this is for my husband." Or when you listen to the preaching in the 1:22:52 church and you hear a word and you think, "Glad my wife is listening to that. Or you think I'm glad my husband is listening to what brother Zach is saying. It's for you. See Jesus said, 1:23:15 Hebrews 10. Verse five. Do you know what Jesus said when he came into the world? Hebrews 10 verse 5. when he comes into the world, he said, "Father, you don't want 1:23:33 any sacrifice and offering but I have come and in the volume of the book which is the Bible. It is written about 1:23:49 me, not about Peter or James or John. I have come into the world. And when I open the book, it's written about me. I want to do your will, oh God. And now you have prepared a body for 1:24:11 me. Verse five, to do your will. You've given me a body. And as I look into the word, it is written there about me. What a wonderful word. If Jesus lived like that, why 1:24:30 can't we live like that? This word is not for her, for him or for the elder. It is for me. Read the Bible the way Jesus read it. You've given me a body. I read the 1:24:52 book. It is for me. I have come to do your will, oh God. If you do that and your other person does that and the other person does that, you'll become 1:25:09 one. Not judge one another. judge yourself. Last verse, one Peter 4. This is how we build fellowship. Verse 1:25:27 17. The time has come for judgment to begin in the household of God. And it must begin with us first. The household of God is the church. In the church, what should we 1:25:46 do? Judge ourselves first. For many years, I used to have this verse in front of my table. The happiest people in the world are those who judge themselves always 1:26:05 and never judge others. who judge themselves always but never judge others. They are the happiest people in the world because they are part of the 1:26:24 household of God. I don't have that verse in front of me now because it is in my head now. I had it in front of my table for nearly 25 years. It's in my head. The happiest people in the world 1:26:43 are those who judge themselves always. Never judge others. Lord, show me where I am wrong. Show me anything in my life that is making you sad. Show me anything in my life, Lord, 1:27:04 that is making you sad. Pray that prayer every day, you will have wonderful fellowship with your husband and wife and you'll have wonderful fellowship in your church. But if you read, you know, 1:27:23 particularly preachers, you can read the Bible to find messages for other people. No, the word of God is like a two-edged sword. It says in Hebrews 4, two 1:27:41 edges, let the first edge cut you, then you can use it to cut. If it has not cut you, you should not use it to cut anybody. You judge the love of money in yourself and then preach about the love 1:28:00 of money. You judge the dirty thoughts in your mind first and then talk about it to others. You judge the anger in your own life and then talk about anger in others. Let the one edge of the sword cut you 1:28:23 first because you see yourself in the mirror first. That is the household of God. And if we all live like that, there'll be a wonderful home that you 1:28:40 build and a wonderful church you'll build. This is the secret of fellowship in your home and in the church. Let's pray. There are many things you have heard today. Pray that it'll be true in your 1:29:00 life. Heavenly Father, help us to honor you. We please you in all things. We want to be individuals and families and churches that please you. Thank you for this 1:29:19 day. Take care of everyone tonight.
