0:00 [Music] Shall we begin with a short prayer? Our heavenly father, we praise and thank you for such amazing love. And Lord Jesus, thank you for your great love 0:18 that you died for us. Thank you Lord that you are present with us. We pray that your spirit will speak to each one of us and help us in our daily life to live lives that are pleasing to you. We ask it in your name, Lord Jesus. Amen. 0:38 It seems like just yesterday I was there in RLCF and now I'm miles and miles away. We praise and thank God for technology when we can be together in the Lord's presence. 0:54 Just a couple of days before we left to come here, something happened which made a great impact in my life because it started making me think of some serious things. I'll tell you what 1:13 happened. About 4:00 a.m. in the morning, I woke up hearing the wailing sound of the fire truck, the fire extinguishing truck so close by. So I woke up and then I went to our kitchen, cottage kitchen to see 1:32 if I had left the gas on or something was there in my house, in my cottage. And everything was okay. Then I looked out of the cottage window and I could see these fire trucks just driving past and those of you who know Satosh Megan's 1:50 house from the cottage we can see the adjacent town birthered. I could get a good view of that town and way in the distance I could hear see a small fire like a campfire or something. So I thought maybe it's just that these fire 2:09 trucks are going for that. And within minutes the whole house was a blaze. In the distance in the skyline I could see the three-story building going up in flames. And I thought so quickly this fire has become has become a large fire 2:29 and hope it won't spread to the other buildings. The buildings were just next to each other. And I prayed. I said, "Lord, keep everyone safe." Usually in in Lavland in the nights, there's such a strong wind can go in any direction. And 2:46 I thought it's so possible for other buildings to get burnt up or the fire might some spark may fly over to where we are living. There's lot of dry grass and all that. I thought I hope everybody is safe in this area. So I said a short 3:03 prayer and watched the whole thing. And all the fire trucks went into play and within 2 hours the whole house was put out. The fire was put out. Everybody was safe. Afterwards I heard that uh 3:19 newspaper lady delivery lady. She saw a small fire in the attic of this house and she informed 911 and she woke up the inmates and everybody was safe. That's what I heard afterwards. So talking thinking of that and I was 3:37 the first time I was seeing a whole house ablaze. We've seen forest fires and pictures and all that but just right before my eyes I could see in the distance this house catching fire and I was awake went back to bed I was awake. 3:52 I didn't want to wake up anybody else but I was thinking of fires and uh some things came to my mind and I want to just talk about that. I thought of some people, some godly people who are affected by fire. The first person who 4:11 came to my mind was DL Moody. If you haven't heard of him, he was a very godly evangelist and he lived in Chicago. Maybe you can look up internet and read about him. He had a very poor childhood and he 4:31 struggled a lot. His father died when he was very young. He had a twin brother and they became very poor and all the creditors came and took away most of their things because the father died suddenly. And then he went to work with 4:47 an uncle as a shoe salesman. And when he was there a Sunday school teacher brought him to the Lord and he had a real experience of coming to the Lord. And from then he became serious about his Christian life. And the Sunday 5:05 school teacher told him give your life to Christ. He can do a better he can do better with your life than you can. I don't know whether it was his words or the Sunday school teachers word but that kept ringing in his heart. And so he went to church and 5:23 then he got a real burden to witness and to tell others about the love of Jesus and about salvation. So he started a small Sunday school among the poor children in that in Chicago and he gathered lot of them and he taught them and sometimes he had 5:43 meetings for the parents also. So it grew and grew. people were there was an anointing in his life from the early days and people came in and crowds of people would come to hear him preach and one day one night I think it was 6:00 a big fire started it was I think it's called the famous Chicago fire I don't know a lot of houses were burnt down and um Moody's place where he had these meetings all got burnt And that later made a great impact on 6:19 his life. He said these poor people I hardly finished speaking to them. I told them about the Lord but I didn't give them the invitation how you can come to the Lord and that was a burning in his heart. He said there was a fire lit in 6:35 his heart after that. That fire outside may lit a fire the fire of the Holy Spirit in his heart and he began and from that day there was a power in his ministry. He he he said he went through the streets of New York and 6:54 places and suddenly he felt the power of the Holy Spirit fall upon him and he it felt he felt like heaven had opened and he was in direct contact with God with heaven and flooding of the Holy Spirit 7:11 into his heart and he was more powerful as a speaker and brought millions to Christ poor gave gave the gospel to millions of people went to different countries, England and other countries and preached and he was really God used 7:28 him to bring revival and people remembered him and then that passion to save souls was so much in him and that was one fire uh person who fire influenced that person that is DL Moody. Then I 7:46 thought of another godly man who had a close encounter with fire. That is we all know about John Wesley. He there was a day I think one night his whole house caught fire and his parents 8:04 I think there were nine children. They had many children. The parents got all the children out and they forgot that little John Wesley was sleeping in bed and just before before it was too late they managed to get him out and they 8:21 called him the fire brand plucked out of the fire. That was his nickname. And we know how God used him. If he had died in that fire, what a tragic loss it would have been to the to the Lord's work. God used him to bless so many people and the 8:40 revival after revival in England because of John Wesley. Then I thought of many martyrs who who died in the fire. They were burnt alive for translating the Bible for standing true to the Lord. Many women who were tied to the stake 8:59 and burnt alive. And I thought, "Oh Lord, I have to stand next to these people. When I see these people, I'll say, Lord, what have I done for you? These people were so bold and they stood for you and they faced death, tragic 9:15 deaths like this. And sometimes they gave a bold testimony before the fire put out their lives. Read of one, one saint after another who died for the Lord. And in in India in our country 9:32 very recently there was a man who died for the Lord. His name was Graham Stains. That impacted me a lot because his wife Mrs. Stains had come to one of our meetings in CFC when we used to meet in our church that was before her 9:49 marriage before she met Graham. So that was like a personal loss to me and we know how it happened. He was working in a remote part of India where there were strong anti-Christian feelings and people in a frenzy. They were out to 10:08 attack Christians and he went for a camp like you have your youth camp. He went for a camp, church camp and he parked his van. It was very hot. So he and his two sons went for the camp. His wife and daughter were in their home. I mean in the some 10:27 distance away. So he and his sons camped in the camp in that van and these people who hated Christians, they came with gasoline t I mean barrels of gasoline, they came and poured it around the van and set 10:45 fire. And poor Graham tried to open the door but they wouldn't let him open the door. They jammed the door and he died in that in that fire hugging on to his sons. When they pulled out the corpses, he and his sons were hugging each other. 11:03 That was the way he died and gave his life for the Lord's sake. And his wife gave her testimony. She said, "I forgive those people them and let them realize that the Lord forgives them." And I heard later one of the people or some of 11:20 the people who tried to set fire who set fire to that van got converted and accepted the Lord. I hope it's true. We are still praying for the rest of the people. That is the glorious testimony and that all those things came flashing 11:36 to my mind when I thought of that birthed fire and you know then I thought there'll be a day coming not very uh much in the future maybe sooner than we expect there'll be a day coming when the whole world will be destroyed by 11:56 fire there's this verse in 2 Peter 3:10 Peter 3 10 where Peter says the day of the Lord will come like a thief. Heavens will pass away like with a roar. Heavenly bodies will be burnt up and dissolved 12:15 and earth and all these things will be dissolved. So what kind of people should we be? This is the thinking. If you look at all the things that we value so much in our earth, earthly life 12:33 um maybe our small cell phones, mobile phones, our computers, all the gadgets we have, photographs we have and kitchen gadgets so useful to us, our lovely clothes which we like to take care of. 12:51 I after that I thought Lord let me look at all these objects as things which are reserved for the fire cuz your word says everything is reserved for the fire. Let me not get attached to anything. Lord, even the things which I value most, 13:09 which I love most. All that I want, which I can keep, is the godly nature which I can have by dying to myself and being wholehearted and living for the Lord, taking up the cross and the virtues which 13:28 divine nature which the Lord give me gives me Christlikeness. That's all I can take. And my children and my loved ones if I if they belong to the Lord and those to whom I have given the gospel, those for whom I've prayed, interceded 13:46 for, they are the only ones that that will escape that fire. And Lord, help me to have a real perspective. Help me to see as things as you see them. Look at everything like everything is reserved for fire. This is not going 14:04 to last. Everything is going to be burnt up. Only those who belong to the Lord and those whom we have prayed for and worked for, those are the ones we can take with us to the Lord to the new earth and new heaven. 14:24 So that put a seriousness in my life. So I said, "Lord, help me to look at everything hereafter as things which are reserved for the fire." Then I thought of another verse in 1 Corinthians 14:42 chapter 3 12- 15. We look at later. It says there Christ is the foundation. If anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver and precious stones, wood, hair or straw, we can build with 15:00 either of these. Each one's work will become manifest for the day will disclose it because it will be re it will be revealed by fire. That means fire will test each person's work. It's not like whole world is destroyed. The next is we 15:20 ourselves the fire will test us and reveal what's the quality of our work. Now I thought what is who will build with wood, hay and stubble. I mean anybody who want to build will use more. But that's how God looks at the work which we are doing. 15:39 Whatever we do, if it's for the applause of people or to get appreciation from people or people to notice or speak about us or to impress people, all that is going to be work burnt up. That'll be 15:55 like we are building with wood, hay and straw. It's not going to last. What's going to last is what we have done with gold, silver, precious stones which will stand the test of fire. What whenever we whatever we do with our 16:17 job, our families, working for our children, everything the Lord is going to test our motives. Why are we doing this? Am I doing this for my children to get a good name that I'm a fantastic mother and 16:35 I've been a good uh taking care of my children? Is it for a good name? What's the motive? Or is it Lord I want my children also to be in your kingdom? I want to put true values, godly values in you, in my children also. I want every 16:53 brother, every sister whom I come across to see that what is most important in my life is the precious things. Lord, you're more precious than gold, silver, and you're going to make me 17:11 uh my work also last like that. Whatever we've done with a selfish motive is all going to be burnt up. So let's not look at the cheap way of doing things, our work, shortcuts, cutting the corners. 17:29 But Lord, every day Lord, I want to please you. I want to make you happy. I want this burden always in my heart that my children and all my siblings, all those who I I'm coming in contact with, let them be. Let them also pass through 17:48 this test of fire and be in your kingdom. Then another thing which spoke to me was how the fire tests, purifies and cleanses us. It burns up our impurities. 18:03 There's this verse in Malachi 3:2. Who can endure the day of his coming? Malachi 3:2. Who can endure the day of his coming? Who can stand when he appears? That means the Lord. Here also Malachi is speaking about the second 18:22 coming. He's like a refiner fire. Refiner's fire. He will sit as a refiner and purify purifier of silver. Purify them like gold and silver. They will bring offerings in righteousness to the Lord. 18:40 So the Lord refineses us. uses fires the fire of testing to refine us so that we are the all the impurities in us are burnt up. You know when gold is put in a cruc crucible and the fire is put in the fire 18:59 it melted and purified to such an extent till Christ's image till it becomes so clear and Christ's image is seen in us he'll test us he just won't test us beyond a certain limit 19:19 knows the temperature control is in his hand that knob is in his hand. The time control is in his hand. How much of testing and how much of trial we can stand, he won't go beyond a certain amount. Like in Job says, the Lord tells 19:37 to the sea, thus far and not beyond. It stops at a certain point. So in every trial, the Lord says, thus far and not beyond. He knows how much we can bear, but he puts us through fire of testing. And when you and till Christ his image 19:55 is seen in our life till we are transformed he tests us. Now when we go through different trials, family trials, job situations, uh husbands facing job in uncertainties, children's sicknesses, challenges with children, whatever our 20:13 trouble is, whatever challenges we face, challenges from our relatives, unconverted relatives, whatever it is, it will only be to burn up the impurities in our life and till Christ's image is seen. You remember the story of 20:30 uh Daniel's three friends Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednob. How they were put in the fire because they stood true to the Lord. And when they put in the fire, that's a lesson example lesson for us. The only thing that thing that got burnt was the ropes 20:50 that tied tied them tied their hands. That was the only thing that got burnt. There's not even a smell of fire on their bodies. So when the fire of testing the Lord brings in our life, the only things that will get burnt are the 21:05 bondages we are slave to. Whatever we are bound to, whatever we are slave of, the Lord will just burn up that. That's the hope I I got when I thought of that. Lord, the things that are binding me to this earth, the things which are 21:22 hindering me from fellowshipping with you, just burn up those things through the trials that you allow in my life. And you know when they were in the fire, we know who was with them. The Lord was with them. When we go through the fire, 21:37 the Lord is with us. He's standing with us and encouraging us. What a glorious privilege when we are tested to have the Lord's presence with us to see Jesus with us and to see how he went through 21:53 fire of testing and um suffering and faced death for our sake. He went through it for our sake and he's with us in our time of testing. So praise God that for the fire which he allows. Don't let's not be alarmed and 22:13 say surprised why is this allowed in my life? Why only for me? Why why aren't the others going through what I'm going through? Dear sisters, there's a purpose for each things that each thing that God allows in our life. You know when Isaiah 22:30 if we read in Isaiah 6:6 Isaiah was the Lord called him and he was started speaking woe is this wo is that wo is this place this person until he saw his own condition. He said woe is me for I'm 22:48 a person of unclean lips. I spoken so much unclean things that displeased you. Woe is me. That's the statement the Lord wants us when he shows us our true condition. You know what he does? An 23:05 angel brought a cola living coal of fire and touched Isaiah's lips and said, "This has touched you. You're clean now." In Deuteronomy says, Deuteronomy 4:24, there's a verse where says, "Our God is a consuming fire. 23:24 He sends the fire just to consume all the rotten things in our life. And after that the Lord anointed Isaiah and gave him a word so powerful. After that the fire touched his lips and I said, "Lord, 23:41 I see so much of things which displease you coming out of my mouth. And as I come closer and closer to you, I see why did I say that? Maybe I shouldn't have said it in that way. Maybe I should have kept quiet and things come in my life 23:58 and then I get hope from Isaiah. Lord, please touch my lips so that it'll become pure. My speech will become pure. My speech will be pleasing to you. So I praise and thank God for the fire which which burns up our impurities. 24:16 For the children of Israel, fire was a um the Lord sent a uh guided them to a pillar of fire. In the daytime, it was a cloud to shelter them from the heat. But at night, it was a pillar of fire. Kept away all the wild animals and all the 24:36 dangerous insects and mosquitoes or whatever it is, kept away and kept them warm, protected them. And the Lord led his children through that pillar of cry and protected them in um in Ze Zechariah 2:5. There's a beautiful verse. 24:56 It says Zechariah 2:5 which we can claim. I will be to her. Notice it's this her that means we all sisters can take it. He's speaking about Jeru about Israel but take it for ourselves. I'll be to her a wall of fire 25:15 all around and I'll be the glory in her midst. I said, Lord, if I have you as a wall of fire to protect me and no harm will come to me. You will see to it that no harm come to me and you'll be 25:33 the glory in my midst. I take that promise and dear sisters let's take that promise whenever we faced through different situations you know when Job was tested such a tremendous testing he lost everything except 25:51 um his own life sickness his family his wealth everything God uh he uh he realized I mean that was through Satan but he realized that there were three fences around him, fence around his wealth, a 26:07 fence around his family and his wife, his life. So the Lord has put fences around us. I've heard that in certain places when there's a fire spreading. I don't know if it's true, but they they 26:23 advise that you take a fire and put a let it spread around your perimeter like a circle around you where you're standing. then it won't come close to you. I don't know if it's true, but that's the picture. The Lord has put a 26:40 fiery fence around us. No harm can come. And he says, "Thus far and no more. I won't let you let you get hurt." And even if we have to go through fire like the like the marts, it's our privilege. Go through some persecution for the 26:57 Lord's sake. Whatever it is, when we are faced through trial and persecution, we can look back at the example of our godly sisters and brothers who went through persecution and say, "Lord, let me be as one of them. Let me be in that 27:13 sacred number." So that's the promise we can have. And um another pro idea I mean the Lord talked me about fire was in Moses case you know how he saw the burning bush mo Moses was living a like a backsliden 27:32 life living away from his people taking care of sheep and then he saw this burning bush the angels in the burning bush the bush was burning but it wasn't get burnt it was an amazing sight that he couldn't never forget it. For years 27:50 later, he said the Lord who spoke to me in the burning bush. He could remember that that instance when the Lord spoke to him and the Lord said I am I'm the eternal God, present and future. I'm forever I am the eternal God and I'm calling you first 28:08 doing to do something very important. I have brought a great calling for you. That was a commission the Lord gave him to call Moses. And then um Mo Moses had an experience of another big fire when he went to Mount Si. The Lord asked him to go up 28:28 that mountain and that mountain was like a volcano spewing out fire and thunder and lightning. But he was not afraid. He went up because he saw God was in the fire. people who the children of Israel were around it and they were afraid. 28:45 Even an animal who touched went near the mountain would be stoned. People were afraid. But Moses wasn't afraid and he went up and the Lord gave him his commandments. If you read in uh Hebrews 12, it says about that. Hebrews 12:8 29:03 18 it says about the mount si was a blazing fire and darkness and gloom and tempest and sound of trumpet and a voice which made the hearers beg that no more messages be given. They couldn't bear and endure 29:22 what what they heard. Even if a beast touched the mountain, it had to be stoned. That was Mount Horeb. But he in the book of Hebrews we read there's another mountain a few weeks ago Santos was my son Santosh was speaking 29:37 about that the the children of Israel when they went to Ore there was fear in their hearts it was a fearful mountain but for us there's a another mountain we come to Mount Zion that we read in Hebrews 12 now we come to the city of 29:54 the living God mount Zion the heavenly Jerusalem there are innumerable able angels in festal gathering, the assembly of the righteous people enrolled there and the spirits of righteous made perfect. Praise God for that calling he 30:11 has given us to come not to a fearful mountain, Mount Horeb, but to the Mount Zion where there's comfort, where there's peace, where we live with people who are made righteous by the blood of the Lord, the lamp, and we can live 30:27 forever and ever with the Lord and behold his glory. Praise God. It takes away the fearfulness and the fire of the mount Horeb and give us that um that hope that we can live forever and ever with the Lord. And 30:47 another thing which I thought of when I uh the Lord was speaking to me was uh about fire was this verse. If you read in Jude 23, Jude has only one chapter. 31:03 If you read read in Jude 23, it says about um to find that verse. It says about um snatching people from the fire, having mercy on them and 31:22 snatching people from the fire. That reminded me about intercession. Last week the sunil was speaking about that about interceding when we when we uh pray for our loved ones who are still 31:41 not come to the lord and don't know anything about the lord or maybe who are working against the lord. God has given us the privilege to intercede for them. Don't blame them. Don't be bitter towards them. But he said, "Be careful. Don't get caught up 31:59 in their backsliding. Don't get caught up in their backbiting and hatred and bitterness. Be careful that your garments don't catch fire, but snatch them out of the fire. That is the power of intercession." When we look at 32:15 uh others who have backsliden and not taken the Christian life seriously, we should not stand back and say, "Oh, poor things and good for me. I'm not in that company." No, it's a time for us to 32:30 weep and pray and intercede for them. In Isaiah 62 6 and 7 there are some beautiful verses. I have set God has set us as watchmen 32:50 all day and night. And it says verse 7, give him no rest. Give God no rest until he establishes Jerusalem or my home or those people and make it a praise on the earth. Give God 33:08 no rest and take no rest yourself until he has established that person whom we are praying for. That is the power of intercession. the privilege we have and there's a uh beautiful example of that in Zechariah 33:28 in Zechariah 3 it says um Zechariah and Joshua Joshua was the high priest they were standing before the Lord and Satan came and said to the Lord 33:46 look at this high priest Joshua he's got filthy garments friends that mean there's something wrong in his life. He was accusing the high priest to God and Zechariah said and God and the angel said take off those filthy garments and 34:04 put a clean garment on him. You read that in Zechariah 3 and I'm just going through it fast because our time is running out but when you get time you read but Zechariah he joined in that intercession with the angel said he said 34:21 put a clean turban also on him not just his garments crown him crown him with that godliness not just his clothes that is the power of intercession you know there was a missionary who came to India his name was John Hyde. If you look up, you can 34:39 read about him. I read a book and it was so moving. The Lord called him from a young age to India as a missionary. And you know there are so many religions in India, so many traditions, so much of things which people are bound to and 34:57 they never are able to give up. It's so difficult to give up all those systems which our people are trapped in. And God called him and he went there to Punjab and he saw the bondages of the people and you know he started praying. God 35:16 gave him a burden to pray for our people in India and his nickname was praying hide. He would weep and pray. Lord open the hearts of these people to hear your word. They're bound. so many traditions I don't know the language and there were 35:35 two three languages in that place udu and Hindi and Punjabi he said which language should I learn lord to speak to tell these people about your love he was so burdened for the souls of and he would weep and pray and that burden in 35:53 tears the lord used and brought a great revival in that part of India he would And sometimes you know he would stand up to go to the pulpit to speak and he before he went he would have been weeping and praying for hours sometimes 36:12 going without food many times fasting. He go to the pulpit and say just two words, heavenly father. And the power of God would fall on him and the congregation and the people would start weeping and crying out there for the to 36:29 the lord confessing their sins. just two words heavenly father and he'd say it in the Indian language uru such a power was there because he prayed before the lord and that whenever I read of that I think 36:48 this man he came from some other country to our country and he had such a burden for souls and even now there's a result of his work and his prayer and he died very because he spent his life praying for 37:05 our people, crying out to God and he knew he I believe he had a stammer. Even D Moody his grammar was very poor. He had a stammer but till God used him just his tears and his cry brought people to the Lord. And that brings me to the most 37:23 important thing which I want to share with you today. That is the fire of the Holy Spirit. You know there were two promises the Lord said in Matthew about when Jesus comes he'll save us from our sins. One and second is he'll baptize us 37:42 in the Holy Spirit. Now when we think of the baptism of the spirit even after we are born again we tempted to think it's just like the icing on top of the cake. No dear sisters it's not an icing on the cake. It's something somebody far greater than 38:01 that is the power we need to live our daily lives. We cannot do without the Holy Spirit. Even if we say we are born again maybe 10 years back or even yesterday not enough. We need the power in our daily life to live lives that are 38:19 pleasing to God to that the Lord can have full satisfaction of our life. Our life will be fully spent. So don't think of it like an optional thing. Say Lord, I need your power. I need your power every day. He says that the 38:38 fire must be continually burning in the in the temple and in the tabernacle. That was God's law. There should always be a fire. And the what does the fire do? The fire burns up my self life. When I place myself on the alt altar of God 38:56 and say Lord here I am. I place myself on your altar it burns up my self life. All the things which I want for myself. My desire for things for myself. Make a good name for myself. Applause of people. Anything of self. Lord I want it 39:15 to all to be burnt up by the fire of your Holy Spirit. We cannot do without the fire power fire power fire power power fire power fire power fire power fire of the Holy Spirit. We need his power to empower us, to guide us, to 39:27 strengthen us, take away all fear from us. We can live this life with boldness only when we have the power of the Holy Spirit. And the Lord said to the disciples, you wait till the Holy Spirit comes upon you and you're baptized in 39:44 the spirit. Well, Lord, I wait every day at your in your presence. I want the power of the Holy Spirit. And the Lord said after that you'll be my witnesses. Not that you'll speak and be a witness for you, give you a testimony. No, just your life 40:04 will be my witness. When they see you, they should see Christ likeness. They should see the this is not that person. It's Christ. The words are from Christ. Everything about us should be Christ 40:21 only and Christ forever. And the Holy Spirit only the Holy Spirit can make us like that. You know the devil is so quick to fling fiery darts at us and try to burn us. But the Holy Spirit will protect us. You know, we have the 40:41 armor of God. What is the most important armor that we need is the clothing of humility. If they have any bit of pride in us, which comes out, oh, I'm a Christian. I belong to the Lord. I'm in a good church. Any little bit of pride 40:58 in us, then the fiery dart will surely find a place in us. But if we are clothed in humility and all the armor of God, prayer and word of word of God and righteousness everything and prepared to share the gospel with 41:16 others but clothed with righteous with the humility the fiery darts won't affect God will see to it that those fiery darts are wanted. There's a there are wrong types of fires also. Sometimes the people can make an artificial fire. 41:32 Oh, I have the Holy Spirit and tried to show off. You know, I heard of a man who uh who from India, he came to a Bible school in America and it was a Pentecostal Bible school but he was not a Pentecostal but he wanted to get the 41:48 uh scholarship of that college. So he came and then they were all praying for the baptism of sp holy of the spirit and praying and all that and he started praying continuously in Indian language one of our Indian languages and he 42:05 fooled everybody said oh this brother has got the baptism of the spirit he's speaking in tongues he fooled them that was a fake just to get to you think God won't see through that people in America got fooled and In the Bible school, 42:21 people got good. But God doesn't get fooled with that fake things, that artificial things and blabbering, we want the genuine thing. And another fake fire is um if we have vengeance towards someone, if we have jealousy in Song of 42:37 Solomon uh chapter 8 verse 6, it says jealousy is a fire. It's a strong fire. So let's not have any fake fires, fires of jealousy, of vengeance. You know when the disciples were walking with Jesus 42:57 and some Samaritans didn't want to receive Jesus, they said, "Lord, shall we send pray for fire to come out and burn them?" And Jesus said, "No, that's not the way. Vengeance is not the way." I know God used a Samaritan woman to 43:12 bring salvation to the whole Samaritan village to that whole community. The way is not vengeance. The way to retaliate to people to who people who do harm to us is not vengeance but by prayer and by love. So our time is getting up. I'm 43:31 sorry I have to conclude but in closing I want to read this beautiful hymn which we sing very often as a summary. Burn fire of God. You know I I still 43:49 have it the RLCF choir singing that burn fire of God my ransom soul possessing pure fire thou art and I would dwell in thee light of my life God that fire is a light of my life true 44:08 source of every blessing grant all my days one holy flame to be Lord let my whole life be just one holy flame for you. Burn fire of God, thy grace and glory in knowing my cleansed heart shall all be 44:26 fire within. Love all constraining tenderness overflowing. One kindling passion other lives to win. Burn fire of God, thy cloven tongue bestowing, baptizing me with heavenly energy, 44:44 touched with live coals from of thine altar glowing. My purged lips shall speak alone of thee. Burn fire of God with sevenfold refining till mirrored from my deep 45:02 thine eye shall see in purest gold thy perfect image shining thy Christ revealed in clear irradiancy burn fire of God by thine own love transcending let all I hold be thine and 45:20 thine alone heart mind and will a sacrifice ascending consumed by fire from out thy fiery throne. So God's fire is not something we are going to be afraid of but something we 45:36 welcome and want to live by it and be consumed by that fire. There's no competition in that fire that each one of us say Lord I want to be yours. I want my life to be a living 45:53 sacrifice to you. Please accept it. Show your approval like you did in Elijah's time. You showed your approval by sending the fire from heaven. Show your show your approval in my life by that heavenly fire. May God bless each one of us. Shall we 46:11 close in prayer? Our heavenly father, it's with thirst that we come to you, Lord. We pray that you'll send that fire in our lives, Lord. Each one of us need that fire of the Holy Spirit. It won't burn us up, but it'll burn only the 46:28 impurities in our life. Help us to live lives that are pleasing to you in these last days so that we won't have any regret about anything we've said or done. Lord, we see so much imperfection in in us, but we don't look at 46:44 ourselves. Lord, we look at you and we surrender our lives to you, Lord, that you'll take us in your hands and change us and cleanse us, empower us and make us different from being ordinary human beings. Help us to be heavenly minded, 47:01 Lord. Help us to be worthy to be your children so that you won't be ashamed of us. You'll be proud of us, Lord. Thank you Lord that your love is so great Lord Jesus that you died for us and you do anything for us and you already sent the 47:16 Holy Spirit for us another comforter a helper and he's with us all the time we do praise and thank you for everything we ask this in Jesus precious name amen 47:29 [Music]
