0:00 [Music] and prepare our hearts to to sing the Lord's praise this morning. We're going to sing a song called Ancient of Days and it's a title that the prophet Daniel 0:17 uses in his book and all of us have read the book of Daniel. It's uh he's prophesying about so many chaotic things that are about to unfold. And this is while um Judah was in captivity under different kings. And while all this 0:33 chaos is going around um his view of God, his vision of God or the title that he chose was ancient of days. A title that means that God was there before any other king ruled. The Lord is forever sovereign. Nothing that happens on the 0:50 earth or in our lives, no fear or anxiety about the future changes who he is and his sovereignty and how he's completely in control. And this morning, I take encouragement from that title, ancient of days, the immovable God who's 1:05 seated on his throne. There's no threat to his power or to his reign. The hosts of hell have no have nothing on him. They they have no threat to utter god because he's the ancient of days. He's completely in control. He's omnipotent 1:19 this morning. And if you have any fear, any anxiety of the future, anything that's happened in your life or is happening or is about to happen that causes you even the slightest bit of fear this morning, as we praise God, as 1:32 we call him the ancient of days, as we bring him blessing, honor, and glory this morning, may those fears go away. And may our view of God, the ancient of days, be clear this morning. Thank you, Father. We know Lord as we speak and as 1:45 we praise your name that you are seated on the highest throne Lord of heaven. That there's no threat to your power Lord and your reign in our lives Lord. You hold our tomorrows. Our future is secure in your hand Lord. We have 1:58 nothing to fear. Thank you that you have drawn us. You've sought us and you and you've bought us Lord and you've brought us this morning, Lord, to your table to sing your praises. And Lord, we're eager to do that, Lord, just as you are eager 2:09 to be with us. We're eager to sing your praises and to build you a throne in our midst, Lord. a throne of praise. May so be Lord in Jesus name. >> Amen. >> Amen. >> Blessing and honor, glory and power be 2:26 unto the ancient of days. From every nation, all of creation bow before the ancient of days. Everyone in heaven and earth shall 2:46 declare your glory. Every knee shall bow at your throne. In worship you be exalted, oh God. And your kingdom shall not pass away. Oh ancient of days. 3:05 Blessing and honor. >> Blessing and honor. Glory and power be unto the ancient of days from every nation. All of creation 3:25 bow before the ancient of days. Every tongue in heaven and earth shall declare your glory. Every knee shall bow at your throne. 3:39 In worship you will be exalted, oh God, and your kingdom shall not pass away. Oh ancient of days. Your kingdom shall reign over all the 3:58 earth. Sing to the ancient of days. For none can compare to your matchless words. Sing to the ancient of days. [Music] 4:16 Every tongue in heaven and earth shall declare your glory. Every knee shall bow at your throne. in worship. You'll be exalted, oh God, and your kingdom shall not pass away, 4:36 oh ancient of days. We'll sing in that chorus again, but every tongue in heaven and earth shall declare his glory. But let every tongue hear in our midst and those listening online, even the children. Some of you might I want to just be silent this 4:52 morning, but every tongue in heaven and earth declares his glory. Let's do that as well throughout the six songs that we're going to sing or more. Let every tongue in our midst be sure to sing of his glory. Let's sing that chorus again. 5:05 Every tongue in heaven and earth shall declare your glory. Every knee shall bow at your throne in worship. You will be exalted, oh God, 5:20 and your kingdom shall not pass away. for ancient days. >> I praise you for your faithfulness so 5:42 and for your father's love that never fails. Who am I? The king of love my shepher is who am I 6:00 that used to call me friend lower than the angels for a son to suffer death for only you alone. My one high priest, my only staff with 6:26 fires and my came before the throne. Oh, you know all my ways. 6:41 Yes. Your love for me and yours when I came. [Music] 6:55 Oh, I love you more and more. Praise you for your faithfulness, Lord, and for your father's 7:12 love that never lose. Who am I? The king of my shepher is. Who am I that you should call me friend? 7:31 Lord than the angels for our time to suffer death for only you alone are my one high priest my only sacriice 7:52 and my ever before the throne You know all my ways. 8:06 Yet your love for me and when I hear all his. Oh, I love you more and more. 8:28 Praise you for your faithfulness, oh Lord. >> Though he knows all our ways, even our ways this past week, maybe maybe we failed him this past week. Maybe there 8:47 was a lack of faith. There was a there was a spirit of Lord Lord I'm done with this. I've tried so long Lord so many times I failed and I failed you. Maybe maybe that's how you're that's how you walked in this morning. But though he 9:01 knows all our ways yet his love for us endures. And when we think of all these things may we love him more and more. And may that be seen in song. I was reading through a few verses from Song of Solomon and and remember those words 9:17 were written by an earthly bride to an earthly bridegroom. It was written to Solomon the bridegroom. I was thinking there are such high words of praise and so high that we use them today to sing our praise to Jesus. And I was thinking 9:30 if a bride, as we heard last week, if if the queen of the south came and admired Solomon's wisdom, and if the bride in Song of Solomon admired Solomon's beauty and how he was arrayed, how much more should we, someone greater than Solomon, 9:44 someone who's far greater than Solomon than we can even imagine is here. He is our bridegroom. How much more should my words, should my songs of praise be sung every single day. I was reading a sing of Jeremiah chapter 2 and and the Lord reminding the 10:01 nation of Israel. He says, "I remember the devotion of your youth when you loved me as a bride loves her bridegroom and how you followed me in the wilderness in a lamb that was not sown." And I was hoping, Lord, may it never be 10:14 that it was in the past that I loved you as a bride. that my songs of praise to you as a bride sings to a bridegroom is something that happened when I was newly born again but it's not true anymore may it be true brothers and sisters if it's 10:27 not let's ask for the Holy Spirit that he reveals more of Christ to us that our words and our songs of praise will be as a bride sings to a bridegroom room we're going to sing a few choruses this morning and let's think of our 10:40 bridegroom let's put away all distracting thoughts this wonderful savior that we have the rock the fortress of our lives, our bridegroom. Let our eyes be fixed on him just as that bride's eyes were on her bridegroom. And let's sing these songs 10:54 to him. >> Praise the name of Jesus. [Music] Praise the name of Jesus. He's my rock. 11:17 He's my fortune. He's my deliverer. In him will I trust. Praise the name of Jesus. 11:33 [Music] Praise the name of Jesus. [Music] Praise the name of Jesus. Now he lives in heaven to keep me. He is all together 15:21 love. He is his wonderful savior alone. Thank you, oh my father, for giving 15:39 us your son and leave your spirit till the work on earth is done. Jesus is our redeemer. 16:06 Jesus, God's own son, preious lamb of God, Messiah, holy [Music] 16:24 one. Thank you, oh my father, for giving us your son and leading 18:36 your spirit till the work on earth is done. leading your spirit till 18:54 the work on earth it's done. >> And this morning I I know all of us would give everything that we have if we could just have one day with Jesus physically present in our midst. But in 19:11 John 16 Jesus said it is better. It is to our advantage. It is to our benefit that Jesus goes away so that the Holy Spirit so that he can send the helper. Something more blessed is available to us. The helper is in our midst. We live 19:26 in this age where the comforter has come and he's here in our midst. And if there's anything that's that's still holding us back that that we're afraid of looking into the future, any sin that's that keeps getting an advantage 19:42 over us, if the devil keeps winning small victories over us, we can be free this morning. We can be free today because the comforter has come. He's in our midst and he will reveal more of Jesus to us and he will ensure that we 19:56 will be overcomers just like Jesus was. So let's sing the song. Let's sing that we are free. We are trading our shackles for a glorious song. Let's sing. [Music] >> So long I had searched for life's meaning [Music] 20:14 and slave by the world and my grief. At the door of the prison was open by love. For the ransom was paid. I was 20:32 free. I'm free from the fear of tomorrow. I'm free from the guilt of the past. 20:48 For I traded my shackles for a glorious song. I'm free. Praise the Lord. Free at last. I'm free from the guilt that I carry. 21:09 From that dull empty life, I'm set free. For I met Jesus, he made me complete. He forgot. 21:24 Who shall I be? I'm free from the fear of tomorrow. I'm free from the guilt of the past. 21:42 For I trade in my shackles for a glorious song. I'm free. Praise the Lord. Free at last. I'm free from the fear of tomorrow. 22:03 I'm free from the guilt of the past. for a trade in my shackles. For a glorious song, I'm free. Praise the Lord. Free at 22:21 last. [Music] I then shall live 22:36 as one who's been forgiven. >> I'll walk with joy to know my debts are paid. I know my name 22:58 is clear before thy father. I am his child and I am not afraid. So gravely hardened 23:19 I'll forive my brother the love I gladly will. I then shall live 23:40 as one who learned compassion. I've been so loved that I risk loing too. I know how fear 24:00 builds walls instead of bridges. [Music] I'll dare to see [Music] another point of view. 24:16 And when relationships demand commitment, then I'll be there to care and follow the truth. 24:35 Your kingom come around as rule and in me. Your power and gloryy let them shine through me. Your hallow name. 24:58 May I bear with honor and may your liveing kingom come in the bread of life. 25:17 Oh, may I share with honor and may you feed a hungry world through me. >> Even as we praised you, Lord, even as we 25:36 thanked you for all that you've done for us and in our lives, this last song that we sang, Lord, may that be true. As you have done for us, may we do unto others, Lord. As you have forgiven us, may we forgive others. As 25:49 you have shown mercy to us, Lord, may we be merciful to others, Lord. And as you give us the bread of life, may we be eager, Lord, to share with others, to feed a hungry world, Lord. Help us, Lord. Give us your eyes to see, Lord, 26:01 even in our midst the needs around us, Lord, and to be eager, Lord, to to give of ourselves just as you gave of yourself for us, Lord. Thank you, Lord Jesus, that you paid the ultimate sacrifice. Thank you that we are stood 26:14 here Lord in front of your father's throne as his children Lord sons and daughters because of what you did for us Lord and what you continue to do for us Lord as we sang you are our advocate before the throne even now Lord you 26:26 intercede for us Lord even our failings now even though you see them Lord as we confess them Lord you intercede for us thank you Lord Jesus we'll be eternally grateful Lord we'll only learn more and more of you and how wonderful and 26:39 beautiful you are when we stand before you Lord when we see your praise and our song will be eternal. Lord, our song of praise, our song of thanks, our song of adoration, Lord, will be eternal. Be in our midst, Lord. We we are eager to hear 26:51 your words. The words that you have specially prepared, Lord, for each of us, for every brother, sister, and child, Lord, in Jesus name. Amen. [Music]
