When you pray but cannot get your answer through and when you get discouraged and don't know what to do in that second 7:24 slide, cease to beg and plead but hallelujah's raise. The point of this hymn is that we have two 7:42 wings, prayer and praise. Many baffled birds in vain will wave one wing. Drooping prayers they pray, but rarely shout and sing round and round. If you have only one wing, you're just going to go in circles. These earthbound birds go 7:58 in a maze, stretching not the wings of praise. Some neglect to pray, and they only shout around like the beaten brass or symbols, so they sound. So often the reason that we're discouraged or anxious, it's because our view is restricted. We're like birds that should be flying, seated in the heavenlies, having that 10,000 ft 8:32 perspective of the things of this earth where everything, even the shiniest thing and the biggest thing on earth seems small compared to heaven. But because we're bound to this earth, restricted in the way, stand a hundred 8:44 hindrances that will dismay. There you fret and fuss and flurry, but go up high. Vision changes as you fly. So exercise your faith, oh Christian. Pray and praise. We shall have the best revivals these last days. 9:03 Glide a loft and spread the message glad and strong. How wonderful it is that you freed us from the penalty of sin, the power of sin you're freeing us from, and one day we shall be freed from the presence of sin altogether. What a wonderful thing, Lord. That's the 14:41 greatest thing. If you did nothing else for us, no earthly blessing, no material blessing, that would be enough, more than enough, Lord, because you've given us eternal life. Will you heal and restore and unite more than you have before yet, Lord, every marriage here 17:27 and those listening online, that we as husbands and wives will be more closely knit in true love, in heavenly love, in love that you and the father have, Lord Jesus, in love that you have for the church, your body. Not us dads, not us moms, but you, Lord Jesus, are truly on the throne in our homes. and knit our church together, Lord, this church body, through these homes that are on fire for you, where 18:57 you alone are the Lord of all, that through that life in secret day by day throughout the week, Lord, when we gather here as you've called us together to be a a living expression, a local expression of your body, that we will 19:11 exemplify that through that unity that we experience that you have as well. also knit our hearts together even in this church, brothers and sisters and children, not with an earthly club attachment, Lord, but with a spiritual 19:23 unity, a knitting that your Holy Spirit does. Thank you, Lord. You'll do that. Pray for our material needs. We commit those that are in need of healing, those that aren't here today because of sickness or others that deal with 19:34 constant pain in their body. Lord, will you come and touch them? We ask in the name of Jesus, lay your hands on them, Lord Jesus. You are the healer. You are the one who made our bodies fearfully and wonderfully. You knit us together, 19:48 Lord. You made our bodies exactly the way you wanted to, Lord. And even though we're affected by a world that's has sickness in it because of sin, we commit our lives to you, Lord, and commit our bodies to you. And ask you, we know we 20:00 can ask you for that because you bore our sicknesses as well as our sins. So Lord, if it is your will, will you touch everyone that's in need of a healing touch from you today? whatever it might be, an ailment, an ache, Lord, in in 20:13 their body. I pray that you will touch and heal them. Lord, we believe that this is a prayer of faith that you've heard because we're agreeing today today and asking in your name and according to your will. For others that deal with uh 20:24 emotional hurt, pain, sorrow, loss, Lord, any thank you that you were here once as a human being and you understood loss. You understood sorrow. You were a man of sorrows, Lord. and you know what that's like for us to go through times 20:38 of loss and pain and emotional hurt. Lord, I pray that you'll bring healing for there there as well. Thank you that the Holy Spirit is called a comforter. Oh comforter, will you come and bring the comfort of heaven, not an earthly 20:50 comfort, not a false comfort that leaves us discouraged or temporary, but an an a comfort that's the comfort of heaven that's eternal that will draw us closer to you that doesn't that keeps us full of faith for what you're doing in our 21:04 lives. Thank you, Holy Spirit. Come and fill our hearts with that comfort. Everyone that's in need today, thank you, Lord. You'll do that. We commit our material needs to you as well as we go through the week studying in schools or 21:16 working in jobs and or working in the home. Lord, these are responsibilities you've given us. So Lord, will you change the way we work this week and the way we study this week that we will see you Lord as the ultimate examiner, the ultimate boss, the ultimate manager, Lord, and you are 21:43 our father.
