The promise of the father is now ready 1:13 to fall. Watching on the tower all exorts to prepare and the church responds are people who will answer the call. And this is not a phase which is passing. It's the start of an age that is to 1:31 come. Where is the wise man and the scoffer before the face of Jesus they are? My tongue will be the pen of a ready rider. What can nothing can separate you brother, sister, child? If you felt distant from the love of God, if you felt distant from the care of God in the circumstance that you've gone 6:32 through this last week or are going through, remember nothing nothing can separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus. He gave Jesus which is everything he could give. And if he could give, if he gave everything that 6:44 he could give, what is the little things that you need from him today? He will do it. Our God is able to supply all your needs according to his riches in Christ Jesus. Let's pray and commit our lives to him and surrender to him. Aresh our 7:01 lives. If there's been complaining on your tongue this last week, if there's been a spirit of grumbling or unrest or anxiety or fear, worry, unbelief, all of these things are a dishonor to the name of God because it it it says 7:16 that he isn't really who he says he is. And yet he is king of kings and lord of lords and the supreme god who has risen over everything and ex above everything above all rulers and authorities and powers. He has all the dominion all the 7:33 power. So if there's been a complaining and unrest or a peace or a doubt or a worry he says take courage do not worry. I care even about the little bird, the birds, the littlest of the birds, the sparrows and the swallows. I provide for 7:51 them. I clothe the liies. How much more you who are my children, whom I gave my only son for, hear your father speaking to you this morning. Words of comfort, words of encouragement, words of hope. Be done with complaining and unrest and 8:06 unbelief and fear and anxiety and worry. And look forward. Lift your vision up. Dear friend, dear brother, dear sister, dear child. Lift your head up. Your redemption draws near. Heavenly Father, pray with me. Family. Heavenly Father, 8:18 we commit our lives to you. Aresh. We lay our lives on the altar. Lord, if there's been any complaining, if there's been any unrest, it's simply because we've held back something for ourselves and thought it was ours when we belong 8:29 to you. Doubly belong to you. Because we are created for your good pleasure. And you purchased us Aresh after we went astray with your precious blood. not not gold or silver, not cheap things like that, but the precious blood of Jesus. 8:43 And for us who believe, you are precious, Lord, because of what all you went through for our sake. And I pray Lord, not just now when we're comfortable and we're singing and we're together Lord, but in those times of loneliness, when we're walking through 8:55 the valley of the shadow of death perhaps, or in the presence of our enemies, Lord, and we feel the pressure around us, our lusts and the devil and all his hosts pressuring us and attacking us, Lord, right there, Lord, I 9:06 pray that we will proclaim who you are, that you are precious to us, and that we can sit with you at the table that you prepare right there in the presence of our enemies. that we can see your rod and your staff comforting us and guiding 9:19 us and leading us step by step in every circumstance. Make it so. Heavenly Father, I pray. Thank you. Open our eyes to see it, Lord. We can't do it on our own. We cannot ever work up enough faith to trust you more. May give us this 9:32 faith, Lord. That that will change our lives. Open the eyes of our heart to see the love which is in you, Lord, in Christ Jesus, your love for us, and give us faith, Lord. I pray true faith that will overcome the world. This is the 9:44 only way we can overcome. We believe it. Thank you, Father. Pray for any who are in a spiritual battle today. Maybe sin has had a a foothold in their life or in their marriage or in their home. Anybody I pray listening to this prayer in the 9:56 name of Jesus, will you loose them? Those that need to be loosed and bind the work of Satan and any of his hosts in any life. We resist you, Satan, in the name of Jesus. And bind your work because we know you're afraid of the 10:07 name of Jesus. And at the name of Jesus, every demon, every evil force must flee and has fled even as we have proclaimed it right now. Thank you, Lord. You have overcome Satan. That we can live in complete rest. That that greatest enemy 10:21 of ours, Lord, the evil one, has been defeated, permanently defeated. We don't have to try to defeat him again. We just have to walk in the victory that you've already won for us. Give us such a faith, Lord. Thank you. Thank you that 10:31 you've defeated so defeated Satan. And so Lord, I pray that we will live as overcomers. That there will never be in any of us any sin that besets us and help us to set it aside. And the entanglements of this world, Lord, we 10:43 set it aside. Set us more and more free from sin and from uh the things of this world. Lord, preserve us in humility. Help us to go to decrease a little bit more today to truly decrease as you decrease, Lord. Not a false humility as 10:56 the world tells us, but the humility of Christ, Lord. The humility of Christ that is full of zeal for your father's house. the humility of Christ that treats others, everyone as more important than ourselves. Help us, Lord, 11:08 that we will be such a church that we will have such marriages. We will have such relationships in our home and in this church in our interactions with each other. It'll be from true humility. Thank you, Lord. You're building your 11:19 church and the gates of hell will never never be able to prevail against that. Make it so that this gathering of people here at RLCF is part of your church, Lord. that every one of us individually has made that decision to follow Jesus. 11:32 Never to turn back, never to go back to the old ways of life, the old ways of thinking. Set us more free today, Lord, from the things of this earth and more taken up with the things of heaven and your kingdom. Make it so, Lord, we 11:44 believe you shall. Thank you. Pray for every marriage, Lord. If there's any any marriage here that's growing cold or some conflict or strife or a lack of peace and above all a lack of unity, oneness as you and the father are one. 11:57 Lord Jesus, you promised that to us is almost too good to be true. But you said it, Lord. And we're going to You said it and we're going to say amen to that. That you'll give us unity in our marriages as you and the father are one. 12:07 Unity in our homes with our children. Restoring the hearts of parents to the children and children to their parents and building unity, Lord, in our in this church as well among us families. Make us one, Lord. We don't want to be 10 or 12:19 20 or 100 or more. We want to be one. That's our goal. You do that through the Holy Spirit knitting our hearts together in true fellowship. Thank you, Lord. You're doing that and you will finish the work that you started it. You've 12:30 You're the one that brought us to this place, Lord. You're the one that called us to this body, to this local expression of your body. We know it. We've come here and answer to your call and we will follow you. And what a 12:40 wonderful thing, Lord, that you are building up this as a little testimony, a little example of what Christlikeness looks like. May we always remain in low thoughts. Lord, I pray for our earthly needs as well. For those who need 12:51 healing, a touch of healing from you, some who can't be here or others who deal with constant pain in their bodies. I pray, Lord, right now because you are a healing God. You've proved that from the beginning of time. Lord, you're a 13:03 God who restores and heals. So, if it is your will, Lord, lay hands on those that need a touch from you this this morning and need that touch or deal with pain. Lord, lay hands on them. We pray your nailpierced hands, Lord. Lay it on them, 13:15 on their bodies, and let your healing power flow through them right now even, Lord, and give us faith to believe that you will answer our prayer. Show us your will, Lord, so that we might know how to pray according to your will. And thank 13:27 you that above all, whether you actually heal our physical bodies or not, which are decaying anyway, we know that your grace is sufficient. So above all, we ask for grace. Help us to remain humble and receive grace from you, Lord, at 13:40 help in time of need. So that whatever we go through, whether you heal our bodies or not, we shall live overwhelmingly as conquerors here on this earth. Thank you, Lord. You'll do that for our job situations. Likewise, our jobs are from you, Lord. Even if we 13:54 work hard to get to the point where we are, it's it's nothing without you. You're the one that given us the ability to know how to do our jobs. and we simply have these jobs Lord so that we can provide for our families so that we 14:04 don't have to beg or borrow or remain in debt to anybody or steal from anyone. Thank you Lord that you will give us a way by which we can live such a life providing for our own families. Help us to live simply Lord not to seek for the 14:15 comforts and the luxuries of this of the the rest of this world. Lord not to have the love of money in anywhere. Lord help us to examine our hearts to free our character completely from the love of money or from covetousness and greed. 14:28 Help us Lord in a world that's constantly moving towards greed and covetousness to be freed from the love of money. Set us free Lord because it's a hindrance to your kingdom. Help us Lord. Set us free and give us the ability for those that need job uh a job 14:43 job situations Lord or other problems they're facing their jobs looking for jobs. I pray Lord you will provide according to their need. Each of us we trust you Lord. And I pray knit our hearts together. Be here Lord even the 14:55 rest of our time together in this meeting. Be exalted. be glorified. Let Jesus be more lifted up here in this place than he's ever been. Do that Holy Spirit. You alone can do it. You come to glorify Jesus and you come to convict us 15:08 of sin and righteousness and judgment. We believe you'll do that. That Jesus will become more precious to us, more exalted, more lifted up. Thank you, Father, in Jesus name. Amen. There's a wonderful old hymn by Madame Guon. 15:26 She says that first line, I have tried you by long experience and no grief can long abide near you. If you get closer to Jesus, you won't have grief lasting for very long. [Music] And so she says in verse two, all scenes 15:42 alike, engaging proof, that means I'm not impressed by the things of this earth, whether things went well according to my day, whether my boss is happy with me or I have a little bit more money or anything like that. Because the only thing that impresses me 15:54 is sacred love, the love of God. Is it true, dear brother, dear sister, even dear children, that the only thing that impresses you is sacred love? That God loves you and then everything else is the same. Wherever they dwell, they 16:09 dwell in thee in heaven, on earth, or on the sea. Verse three says, to me, it doesn't remain. I'm I'm not looking for a place or a time. My country is in any climate. I have no allegiance to any country here on this earth. I can be 16:23 calm and free from care on any shore since God is there. Verse 8, she says, we're not going to sing all. There's like 12 verses, I think. We'll just sing five of them um or six of them. In uh this one she says, 16:39 "No frowns of men can hurtful proof if somebody looks at you or is angry with you. Somebody says something evil about you or curses you. It can't hurt you if you're on fire with heavenly love. Invite the Holy Spirit to come and set 16:56 your heart a fresh with the blaze of heaven and with his heavenly love. And even though men and evil and devils condemn you, no gloomy days can come from them." We'll sing the rest of that verse. So let's go to his embrace in the 17:10 last verse. Oh then to his embrace repair. Run to his embrace. My soul, you're not a stranger there. There love divine shall be my guard and peace and safety my reward. 17:26 Oh, thou my long exterior sty [Music] whom no grief can long. My love 17:46 of sweet consent. [Music] I pass my pillars on earth. All seems like engaging 18:06 proof. True souls impressed with s love. And they dwell in dwell in me 18:24 in heaven and earth. For on earth she remains to be remains nor time. 18:41 My country is in every part. I can be calm and free from care 18:56 on any shore since God is near. Would I be cast where thou art not? 19:12 That word indeed a dreadful heart. A regions notable I call secure of finding 19:31 God in all of earthful to souls on fire with heavenly 19:49 Oh no man and devil both condemn [Music] arise from Lord Lord [Music] 20:08 into his embrace we pray my soul thou are no strangeanger there. 20:23 There love divine shall be my God and peace and safy my reward. I hope the words of that song we sang 20:43 will ring out in your heart this week and in the days to come. Go back and read those words off and meditate on them. There are some other wonderful verses that she wrote which are real encouragement. Here's a new song maybe 20:55 new to some of you. It's actually a very old old song over 100 years old I think. Talks about the fellowship that's forming not by our liking each other or even agreeing on the same doctrine but bound together by the head. our devotion 21:10 to Christ, our simple, pure devotion to Christ and his kingdom. Teaching, obeying, and teaching all that he taught. That's what binds us together. Let's sing of it. What a fellow fellowship is forming. Bound together 21:28 by the head. Taken out from lands and people to be formed as one new bread. Not alone for sinners dying, but together 21:46 into one. scattered children from all nations, one as father and the son. Now the church shall be established. 22:04 Christ's own body here on earth and stubble are quite useless. Fire will try the building's worth. Only gold and precious jewels 22:22 in this building will remain. Where he leads us, we will follow and the spirit's one escape. Let us run the race before us. Jesus 22:43 steps, we there will find and we'll also find the others who a single heart and mind cast aside each andress 22:59 and the sin that doesn't stare fulfill the love of Jesus others burdens gladly bear. Tell me why we should not be extremely happy. Is there a reason that you have? Can you think of even one reason why you should be gloomy today? Why you should be downcast? Why you should be a little bit 24:28 discouraged even? We have a living hope that we can see by faith. And the only reason you may still be discouraged or downcast today is because you're not seeing the living hope by faith. Ask God to open the eyes like we prayed already. 24:42 Do you open the eyes of your heart to see this living hope uh uh by and the one that is fixed there where Jesus is seated at the right hand of the father we read in Hebrews 6. So let's clap and sing. Tell me why we 24:58 should not be extremely happy. We're a living hope that we by faith can see. Miss the battles, wars, and trials in the vision of the glory that forever more shall be. 25:18 Be courageous. Yes. Be bold and do not for the sufferings last for a little while. and compare unto the glory manifest to his soul who battles faithfully his 25:36 love. So be crucified with Christ in these temptations. Then the glory that he has shall be our own songs of praise for joyous expectation. 25:53 We shall praise him soon in our eternal home. Be exceeding glad. Remember it is written. Count it joy in all temptations that you see. 26:09 It will life great abundance. Just believe endure and you'll have victory. Hallelujah. We are filled with jubilation. Hallelujah. Praise and honor to his 26:27 name. Unto us he's g such a great salvation. Yes, he sets us free from all our sin and shame.
