0:07 as we prepare our hearts to sing the Lord's praise to to think of all the good goodness the Lord has shown us even this past week thought I'll read two verses if you've come here with some sort of burden maybe an anxiety or fear 0:20 of tomorrow or what the the next week brings something that's not in your control somebody shared this with me this uh earlier this week in um in the Bible there's two places where the Lord encourages us to cast our cares on him. 0:38 And the first place is Psalms Psalm 55 and verse 22 says cast your burden on the Lord and he 0:55 will sustain you because he is able. The next verse says, "He will never permit the righteous to be moved." And the second time it's mentioned is 1 Peter chapter 5 in the New Testament and verse 7. Cast all your cares on him because he 1:12 cares for you. And I was so encouraged by that. Two reasons this morning to cast our cares on him. First, because he is able to sustain us. No matter what our problems are, no matter what our fears are, no matter what tomorrow holds, God is able to 1:27 sustain us. And two, he cares about us deeply. And he wants to sustain us. He cares about the smallest detail in even our children's lives. And so this morning, as we come, as we prepare our hearts to sing his praise, let's cast our cares upon him and lean 1:47 on him this morning. Let's sing. I cast all my cares upon you. I lay all my burdens 2:06 down at your feet. anytime. I don't know what to do. I will cast all my cares upon you. I cast all my cares upon you. 2:34 I lay all of my burdens down at your feet. Any time I don't know what to do, I will cast all 2:52 my cares upon you. And anytime I don't know what to do, I will cast all 3:08 my cares upon him. >> As we gather, may your spirit work within us. 3:23 As we gather him, we glorify your name, knowing well that as our hearts begin to worship, we'll be blessed because we came. 3:46 >> We'll be blessed because we came. As we gather, as we gather, may your spirit work within us. 3:59 As we gather, may we glorify your name, knowing well that as our hearts begin to worship, we'll be blessed because we care. 4:22 We'll be blessed because we gave steadfast love his mercies 4:42 to you every Morning. New every morning. Great is thy faithfulness. Oh, great is thy faithfulness. 5:09 Steadfast love of the Lord never cease. His mercies never come to an end. 5:26 They are new every morning. New morning. Great is thy faithfulness, Lord. Great is thy faithfulness. 5:47 They are new every morning. New every morning. Great is thy faithfulness, oh Lord. 6:04 Great is thy faithfulness. Isn't that amazing how our God is in one of the saddest books in the Bible, the book of Lamentations, when Jeremiah laments the the destruction of Jerusalem and his people, in the middle of that 6:23 book, God put one of the most encouraging verses as a sign for us when we go through our darkest trials, our hardest times in life, that our God is our uplifter. He's our encourager. On that morning when you're going through your 6:40 darkest trial, his mercies are still new. His He is still faithful and great is his faithfulness. Once I was straight in sin dark 7:00 and good I see from heaven a loving savior to save a poor lost soul. Oh, what a savior. 7:19 Oh, hallelu. His heart was broken on Calary. His hands were star. His side was r. He gave his life 7:37 for me. his father with all his riches came down from heaven 7:54 and his life to make. Oh, what a sior. Oh, hallelu. His heart was broken on Calvary. 8:14 His hands were nail star. His side was he gave his life for me. In one crossing just wers 8:31 his hands will lead me. I'll join the forest in that city and sing out there forever. Oh my savior 8:51 hallelu. His heart was broken on Calvary. His answer start his life was given. He gave his life blood for even me. 9:10 Oh what a savior. Oh hallelu. His heart was broken on Calvary. His hands were nail scar. His side was given. 9:28 He gave his life for him. When the Lord stopped Abraham from from bringing the knife down on his own son in Genesis 22:14, Abraham called that place the Lord will 9:46 provide. And on that mountain the Lord, the mount of the Lord, it shall be provided. And the Lord said, "I will provide a sacrifice. I will provide a savior." And what a savior he provided. Savior we sing about this morning. And he has 10:03 bridged that gap, that great chasm between us and the Lord. And he's brought us near. What a savior. Let's sing in gratitude this morning. The mystery of the cross I cannot 10:25 comprehend the agonies of Calary. You the perfect holy one trust your son. 10:42 Drink the bitter cup reserved for me. Your blood has washed away my sin. Jesus, thank you. Father's wrath completely satisfied. 11:01 Jesus, thank you. Once your enemy now seated at your table Jesus name you by your perfect sacrifice I've been 11:22 brought here to me you've made a friend pouring out the riches All your glorious grace, 11:37 your mercy and your kindness. Your blood has washed away my sin. Jesus, thank you. Jesus, thank you. Once you 12:01 now see it at your Jesus, mother of my soul, I want to live 12:20 for you, mother of my soul. I want to live for you. Mother of my soul. 12:43 I want to live for you. Your blood has washed away my sin. Jesus, thank you. The father's wrath and the evil is satisfied. 13:02 Jesus, thank you. Once you're ready, now seated at your table. Jesus. Thank you. 13:25 In Romans 8:32, Paul said, "He who did not spare his own son, but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously, freely give us all things?" So if you're in need of grace this morning, if you need mercy, 13:41 if you need to confess a sin that you've been holding on, if you need to leave worldly ways behind you, turn around. How much more with him, with Jesus, our great savior, who we just sang about, will he not give us all things? Let's 13:57 come in faith this morning. Even as we prepare our hearts for the the word, God is able to give us and meet our need this morning spiritually and physically. He giveth more grace when the burdens 14:15 grow. He sendeth more strength when the labors increase. Tonight affliction mercy 14:37 to multiply trials his multip. His love has no limit. And our sus the day is after the end of our 15:45 resources. Our father's forgiving is only his love has no limit. His grace has no measure. 16:04 power known unto him for all my gracious in Jesus be 16:24 and gi and gambies shall exceed his provision. Our God is resources to share. 16:48 Lean heart on the everlasting. My father both and my Lord will appear. His love has no limit. His grace has no 17:12 measure. power of B to riches in Jesus. He g 17:37 him. He giveth and giveth and giveth again. >> Yes, Lord Jesus. We come to you for your infinite wealth, Lord. Your infinite 17:55 grace, your love, Lord, that has no boundary. And we come to you, Lord. What we received last week, Lord, we need more. We need you every hour, Lord. We need a fresh outpouring of your spirit this morning, Lord. We're not satisfied 18:08 with what we have. We're not satisfied with the ground that we've gained. Lord, we want to grow higher. We want to come closer to you, Lord, near your side, Lord Jesus. Conform us to that image, Father, through your spirit, the image 18:20 of your son, that we will be pleasing, Lord, to you just as he was when he was on this earth. Father, you can say of us that you're well pleased. May that be so, Lord. Give us your spirit this morning. We pray. Jesus, I am resting, resting 18:40 in the joy of who thou art. I am finding out the greatness of thy loving heart. Thou has gi me gaze upon me and 18:56 thy beauty fills my soul. For my life transforming power, thou has made me whole. Jesus, I am resting, resting in the joy of who thou art. 19:16 I am finding out the greatness of thy loving heart. Oh, how great thy loving kindness, faster, brighter than the sea. 19:34 Oh, how marvelous thy goodness lavish all the rest of him. No one welcome the graces. 19:49 Know thy certainty of promise and have made it mine. Jesus I am resting resting in the joy of who thou are. 20:05 I am finding out the fullness of thy loving heart. simply trusting thee, Lord Jesus. I behold thee as thou art 20:23 and thy love so pure, so changeless, satisfies my heart satisfies its deepest longings. Need supplies its every need. 20:38 Compass me with blessings. Mine is loving indeed. Never lift thy face upon me as I work and wait for thee. 20:56 Resting neath thy smile, Lord Jesus. Earth's dark shadows sleep. Brightness of my father's glory. Sunshine of my father's face. Keep me ever trusting, resting. Fill me 21:16 with thy grace. Jesus, I am resting, resting in the joy of who thou art. I am finding out the greatness of thy loving heart. 21:35 Jesus, I am resting. resting in the joy of who thou art. I am finding out the greatness of thy loving heart. 21:52 The line we sang, simply trusting thee, Lord Jesus, my beloved. And I got this the scene the picture of of John leaning on his breast and resting neath his smile. Even at the last supper when something terrible was about to happen, John 22:09 leaned on his breast on the breast of his beloved and he rested neath his smile. Father, may we all be in that place of rest, Lord, constantly in our lives, through the ups and downs, Lord, to ever be near you, to restneath thy smile, 22:25 Lord Jesus, to know that you are near. You said, Lord, that um nothing can separate us from your love. Help us, Lord, to be assured again this morning that you are our shepherd. You said, Lord Jesus, that your sheep will hear 22:38 your voice. Lord, if we only listen, if we drown out all the noise in our lives, Lord, all the distractions, if we tune our ears to our good shepherd who loves us, who gave himself for us, who was our savior, and by your blood, 22:55 we've been drawn near, Lord Jesus, and we want to hear you. We want to rest need that smile this morning, even as we sing, Lord, in Jesus name. Shepherd of my soul, I give you full control. 23:15 Wherever you may lead, I will follow. I have made the choice to listen for your voice. 23:30 Wherever you may lead, I will go. Be it in a quiet pasture or by a gentle stream, 23:45 the shepherd of my soul is by my side. Should I face a mighty mountain or a valley dark and dim 24:00 shepherd of my soul, be my God, shepherd of my soul, I give you for control. 24:14 Wherever you may lead, I will follow. I have made the choice to listen for your voice. Wherever you may lead, I 24:31 will go. Be it in a quiet pasture or by a gentle stream, the shepherd of my soul is by my side. 24:49 Should I face a mighty mountain or a valley dark and deep? The shepherd of my soul will be my guide. Amen. Please be seated.
