You know, if you read this verse, yes, there is a lawlessness that is increasing around us every day. 1:22:57 The world is going in a different direction. And you can see the sin is rampant everywhere. But Jesus is saying, most people's love will grow cold. 1:23:18 This is something that we have to take heed. But Jesus is also giving us a hope. Yeah, it's not all people, but most people, but there is a remnant. There is a small number of people whose love will not grow cold. So there is a hope that we can see that if I take heed and then take pains to keep myself 1:23:46 in the boundary of love, then my love will not grow cold. So what is this love that we have to, you know, keep it not becoming cold? So, we can read from Matthew chapter 22. 1:24:11 Matthew chapter 22, verse 37. And he said to him, you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. You know, here a Pharisee, one of the lawyer, he is also a lawyer. 1:24:31 He came to Jesus and asked, what is the greatest command in the law? So, and Jesus gives this command. So he asked for a greatest, but Jesus gives two. So one is, we shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 1:24:51 You know, it is about, Jesus has done his work in love and he laid down his life because he loved me to bring me out of my sin. But now in response to that, I have to love him with all my heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 1:25:12 You know, this is the love that I should show towards the Lord. But how do I show? Is it just, I say that, Lord, I love you. Lord, I, you know, we sing many songs. There is nothing wrong in that. But how do I prove that I love the Lord? 1:25:30 You know, we are all familiar with this verse from John 14. John chapter 14, verse 15. If you love me, you will keep my commandments. So, if I say that, Lord, I love you, then I should be keeping his commandments. 1:25:56 So what are those commandments? Just now we saw that. So, loving God supremely. And, you know, we can start from children. Like, you know, children, one commandment God has given. We can read it from Ephesians. Again, this is a familiar verse for each one of us. 1:26:19 And we can turn to Ephesians chapter 5. The commandment is Ephesians chapter 6, verse 1. Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. And this is the boundary that the Lord set for each of us as children. 1:26:46 And I know, Uncle, you may say that, Uncle, it's very hard. Yeah, I know. I've been there as a children. It's difficult to obey our parents. But that is the safety. That is where the Lord's love wants to work in my life as a child. 1:27:02 And it also says that, Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise, so that it may be well with you, and that may live long on the earth, you know, teens, young people. So, shall we consider this word 1:27:19 honoring our parents and living within that boundary where, okay, parents are my boundary. I want to listen to them. I want to obey their instructions. Am I, you know, keeping my attention to their instructions? 1:27:43 You know, sometimes we can look at our conversations with our parents and elderly people. Sometimes, you know, we are very unthankful and words of arrogant. So, that's not God wants us to respect and behave 1:28:04 with our parents. You know. So, in this area, as a young man, as a teen, will I submit to the instructions? Will I live within this boundary where God's love can reach me? And these are the little, little things 1:28:25 that we can pay attention and then the Lord will give you greater understanding later point of time about the different doctrines and all that. But as a child, as a teen, as a youth, so, can I live in this boundary? So, 1:28:39 that is what God is watching over. And, we can read, you know, there is a familiar story about Jacob's daughter, Dina. So, she went out. It says in Genesis 34, 3, 1:28:59 Genesis 34, 1, Now, Dina, the daughter of Leah, whom she had born to Jacob, went out to visit the daughters of the land. You know, sometimes, a parent says, please don't associate with that particular friends of yours or in your college, 1:29:20 be careful or these things or don't friendship go much too close to the opposite sex. So, am I paying close attention to such instructions? You know, what happened to that story? There is a lot of devastation in the family 1:29:36 of Jacob and the whole village where they were living. So, so much of damage just because one daughter want to see the world. daughters of CFC, let's pay close attention to the instructions of our parents and the second 1:29:58 command in that Matthew chapter 22 where Jesus says in verse 39, the second is like it. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. You know, Jesus says you should love 1:30:18 your neighbor as yourself. One is first, my love towards the Lord, Lord Jesus Christ and God, God the Father and my love and my love towards my neighbors. So, who's my neighbor? And often, this we think somebody who's outside our home 1:30:34 but often it relates to the somebody who's outside myself. That is obviously my wife, my close people whom I live with 24 by 7. Am I showing that love towards them? Am I is my love increasing 1:30:55 day by day, year after year? If not, then there is a question. But how do I show love to my wife? And I can read from I would like to read from 1 Peter 3-7. It says, 1:31:18 You husbands in the same way, live with your wives in an understanding way as with someone weaker since she is a woman and show her honor as a fellow heir of grace of life so that your prayers will not be hindered. So, here Paul 1:31:36 is saying your wife is a fellow heir and live with an understanding but more important I was noticed something here show her honor as a fellow heir. So, am I showing that honor that is due unto her or am I just pointing those 1:31:56 weaknesses that he she has and then despising in some way?
