0:07 like us to begin with prayer. And uh as we pray, let's not just make it a ritual. Let's really seek the Lord desperately. As the deer pants for the water, so my soul longs after you. 0:26 I hope that we are all constantly living in that state of longing for the Lord. So let's pray. Heavenly Father, we come to you. We live in a world, Lord, that is constantly pressing at us, trying to offer us false pleasure, false 0:47 satisfaction, whether it's sinful pleasure or [clears throat] anything else that would promote self, anything that's not of you. But thank you, Lord, that we have come to know you. We have found you whom our 1:04 soul so long has craved. Hallelujah. We have found you. Thank you Lord that you allowed us to be found by you. And now I pray Lord that we will never thirst for the things of this world at 1:22 all. Free us, Lord, more and more from those things that which we we could not have been freed before we saw you, before we met you. And we thirst for you, Lord. I thirst for you. Even as I sit here this morning longing for a fresh outpouring of your 1:40 Holy Spirit, an outpouring that allows us to be full of heavenly energy, not human energy, but heavenly energy, no matter what our body or our soul feels like. I long for that, Lord. Pour out your Holy Spirit. 1:56 Let there be a a reverence, a joy, uh an overflowing anointing in our midst this morning. come and touch every heart. Let not even one person has nothing to do with me or anyone else, Lord, but your Holy Spirit coming and 2:15 standing in front of us and convicting us of sin and righteousness and judgment. Oh, Holy Spirit, I want that. I want a deeper conviction in my heart. A conviction that is strong so that I will not waver. I will not grow tired or 2:30 weary and lose heart. So pour out a Holy Spirit that sustains us throughout everything that we go through. Thank you, Lord Jesus. You came and lived here on this earth and were tempted in all points as we are. Yet you never sinned. 2:46 You never slowed down. You never grew tired or weary. You never gave up because you were leaning on your father at all times. And Lord, we come to you as branches that are completely, utterly helpless. It's good for nothing except that we 3:04 remain in the vine. So Lord, secure that connection in the vine more today through your word, through the outpouring of your Holy Spirit. Let us truly be as branches in the vine. And let us see that apart from you, we can 3:19 do nothing, absolutely nothing. But with you, we can do all things through you, Lord Jesus, who gives us strength. Thank you. And that's how we shall move forward another day full of your strength. Where people see us and they 3:35 know we're going through deep trials, but they see a power. They see a joy. They see something supernatural in us. Lord, that's what we want to testify to the world. Not that we can clean up our lives a little bit more. Not that we can 3:47 make ourselves a little bit better in our human strength and meet some standard, but Lord, that we're so utterly helpless. Whether you allow us to come to that point through failure and loss and disappointment, crushing, 4:00 whatever it might be, Lord, we want your life and your life alone so that what's left in us is none of self and all of thee. Move us a little further on this journey, Lord. Less of self today. Help us to leave this place with a little bit 4:15 less of self and to be determined every day to be changed into your image. Less of self, more of you, Lord. Less of self, more of you. I'm committed to that. I lay an alt I I build an altar before you this morning and I say if 4:28 there's anything of self that I've still been holding back, show it to me, Lord, that I can put it on the altar, whatever the cost. I don't want to hold anything back from you who held nothing back for me. Thank you. I was your enemy once and 4:43 now I'm seated at your table. I never want to lose sight of that, Lord. Help me never to be changed by the shifting things of this earth. The ups and downs from the reality that this sinner was once doomed and hopeless is sitting at 5:01 your table full of hope and joy. Thank you Lord. Captivate us aresh with that vision through your Holy Spirit, through your word. Bring your word alive. Your word is living. It's active. It's sharp like a sword. And Lord, let it come and 5:16 divide between the soul and the spirit. Let it do the work that you want to accomplish through it in our lives today. I believe it shall be so. And the word that you send will accomplish that for which you sent it. You're sending 5:31 your word today, Lord, with a purpose, and it's going to be fulfilled. We believe it in Jesus name. Amen. Amen. [clears throat] I'd like to begin with turning to James chapter 1. James chapter 1, 5:48 we'll read in verse 17. James 1:1 17 says, "Every," well, let's read verse 16. "Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren." And what he's talking about right before that is 6:06 how sin comes into the world. Let's not blame the devil for sin. Do not be deceived. In verse 13, he says, "Don't say I'm being tempted by God." And if you read verse 14, he's saying, "Don't even say that the devil made me 6:25 do it." Verse 14 says, "Each one is tempted when he's carried away and enticed by his own lust." The devil may have offered me that, but ultimately what switched the light on 6:43 for sin as it were or turned off the light into darkness was my own lust. And in my will, I yielded to that. Each one is tempted when he's carried away and enticed by his own lust. And that's how sin is formed. Don't be 7:02 deceived. But then he goes on to say, "Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the father of lights with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. There is no shadow of turning." That's 7:19 the literal word here. We sing that in that wonderful hymn. There is no shadow of turning with thee. That's a phrase that's on my heart this morning. The God we serve and the God we believe in is one in whom there's even the shadow 7:36 doesn't shift. Time goes on has gone on and before there was even time he is. He identified himself with this name I am. That means not I was not I here I'm in 7:54 the present or I'm in the future. I am past present and future I am. This is the God we serve. And as we memorized in our memory verse this for this past week, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead, Romans 8:11, 8:12 will also give this same life. Romans 8:1, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to our mortal bodies. So our mortal bodies that every today you're one day closer to death than you were yesterday. 8:32 As good a day as you had yesterday, today the reality is you're just one step closer to death. Tomorrow you'll be even one more step closer to death. That's our mortal bodies. Mortal means dying. Some of you children probably maybe I don't know if 8:50 you knew what that word meant even though you memorized it. Mortal just means dying. That is one thing that's true about every human, every creature on this earth. We are dying. But the same father of lights above with whom there is no variation or shifting 9:09 shadow says, I raised Christ Jesus from the dead to prove to you that I can give you this same life that is no variation or shifting shadow. 9:26 will also give life to your dying bodies so that you too can have the same life. What is it that makes God who he is? That there's no no shadow of turning with him. Um it's not his identity as God because that's something 9:45 nobody else will ever have. God is God. There is only one God manifest in three persons. The father, the son, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the holy spirit. He is only one and even though we speak about partaking of his divine nature, we are 10:02 we will never be God. He will always and only be God. But it's not his identity as God that makes his life not varying that there's no shadow of turning. It's not because he's God in identity. It's because of his nature. 10:21 God's nature is such that it does not shift at all. It doesn't change. It hasn't changed for infinite years past or infinite years to come. It's never changed. Now, you think about your life and how a little thing, finding out some 10:39 little news or some other circumstance or some relationship could cause some shift in you. Happens to us all the time. Even this week, I've had situations like that, good and what I think is bad or or hurtful or whatever. Those little things 10:56 that come up tend to bring a variation in me, a shifting. Oh, my day. I had a bad day, bro, because this or I'm not feeling that great right now because of that. And if you experience that, I hope what we've been meditating on this past week 11:15 that this life that he promises to give me in that he raised Christ Jesus from the dead. Why did he raise Christ Jesus from the dead? To give life to you and me, to our mortal bodies. And you can say our mortal souls as well. are souls 11:33 that are easily carried away by things and people and situations and good news and hard news and what's going on in the world around us. We who are mortal in that sense God says I raised Christ Jesus from the dead in that such 11:50 powerful event with such power so that I can give you this life will give life to our mortal bodies to our changing bodies. He wants to do that. That gives me hope that tomorrow if I get a little bit more 12:07 of this life, not by earning it, not by living a good enough standard, but simply by falling on my face and crying out to God in my hopelessness and my helplessness and say, "Father, give me this life." He says, "I'll give it to 12:22 you." Jesus said in John chapter 5, if you'll turn there with me. 12:57 John 5, you know, Jesus said in twice in this passage, verse 19, I say to you, the son can do nothing of himself un is unless it is something he sees the father doing. He says it again verse 30. I can do nothing 13:16 of my own initiative. Look at the son of God almighty God here on this earth in flesh saying I can do nothing. This is the secret. When we come to that place of I can do nothing and I receive everything. Then we experience this life. And that's 13:32 why he says in verse 26 or 25, truly truly I say to you, an hour is coming and now is when the dead will hear the voice of the son of God. Not the dying, not those who are doing okay. It's the dead. Those who have for whom their 13:51 ability to do anything or live any life that's pleasing to God is completely gone. There's zero left. Not one, not 10%, 0% left. Those are the ones who will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear it will live. 14:11 For just as the Father has life in himself, even so he gave to the Son also to have life in himself, and he gave him authority to execute judgment because he is the son of God. And in the same way that the father gave 14:32 life to the son, now he gives it to us. This is how we have life. Um, and then I didn't read I didn't say the rest of that verse in Romans 8:1. He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to our mortal bodies. 14:48 How? Through the spirit. And that's why it's so important as you hear often in this church that we must seek to continually be filled with the Holy Spirit. If I'm I don't have a continual burning desire to be filled with the Holy Spirit, then I might say 15:05 I'm a Christian. I might talk about wonderful things. I can have a good intellectual understanding of God and even preach about God, but I won't have this life. Which means when somebody rubs me the wrong way, I'm going to 15:17 react. You know, you can't irritate God enough where he'd finally just kind of lose it with you where you poke him and poke him and poke him and poke him and poke him. Finally, he just said, "I had enough." You You ever expect God to react like that? No. 15:32 Never. In a billion, trillion, quadrillion years, you could never poke God enough to the point where suddenly he's finally had enough with you. Yet, we know how we are. Dads, husbands, moms, wives, older siblings, you your sibling needles 15:52 you and pokes you and finally you said, "Oh, I had it. I I could put up with it for a month. Now it's too much." And if you if that ever happens or somebody can say something that could shift you in some way, I hope that will cause us to fall 16:09 on our face and say, "Lord, fill me with your Holy Spirit. fulfill Romans 8:11 in me. Give me this mortal Santosh, this dying Santosh who reacts this way or reacts that way. Give me this life that you said you would pour out your 16:25 Holy Spirit. That's why he wants to pour out his Holy Spirit. If you turn with me to Ecclesiastes chapter 7, one of the reasons that this unshifting nature of God is on my heart is because I see the opposite of that in my own 16:44 flesh, in my mortal body, but also as I observe the lives of others around me. And there are many I see who ease up in the second half of their life, if you will. Ecclesiastes chapter 7. A couple weeks ago, we were listening to the story of a 17:04 man named Thomas Kelly. And in that story, we heard about that second half of your life. Now, it's not second half in terms of quantity, but it's second half in terms of devotion. You can say where many of us, many Christians, I think, come to God 17:22 with a a devotion and a passion and they're they see their sinfulness and they're grieved over it and they say, "Lord, I want to love you." And they come and they want to love God. And that's that first half. They're excited. 17:35 The Christian life is new and fresh and they've got this love, this first love, if you will, the first half of love. But along the way, this starts to wne a little bit. It starts to taper off. I'm not talking about human passion and 17:53 human zeal. I'm talking about a burning desire to grow and to press on to perfection where spiritually I'm accelerating, not slowing down. And yet in our flesh, in our human nature, that's that tendency that the longer you have to do something, the 18:12 slower it's going to get. If you run a marathon, you know, if I was to run a marathon today, I can guarantee that the 20th mile would be one of the slowest and the 26th would be the slowest of all because that's my human tendency. Now, some 18:29 people can train where they they know how to run fast, but let's say you make it a 100 miles. Now, let's say you make it 500 miles. If a human being was to run that race, it's just going to be like, "Okay, I've reached my limit." For some of us, it 18:46 might be 5 miles. For some of us, it might be one mile. But we all have that limit. And even the the human being who can run the furthest, whoever that is, at some point they're going to reach that limit where no, I can't go any 18:58 further. But do you expect God to get to that limit? Never. God could run a billion miles, right, children? If you if you ask God, can you run a marathon? Can you run a billion miles? You say, "Yeah, sure. I'm already there and here 19:10 at the same time." And this God offers us that life spiritually, not physically. I I don't know if any of us will ever be able to run 100 miles. It's not important. But spiritually, can God give us this life that the longer it takes, if if you were to live 19:27 on this life on this earth for 200 years? If you were to live on this earth for 200 years, that life would never be changing. It would be the same, would be unshakable. And God has ordained, none of us, I think, will live till 200. But God has 19:46 ordained a certain amount of time for each of us here on this earth, beginning and end. And within that time frame, he longs to pour out this life into us so that what we're left at the end of it, whenever our mortal bodies finally come 20:02 to an end, whether it's Jesus coming and we being taken up with him and the other saints who have gone on before, or that we die before that, what matters is that by the time we see him face to face, when our mortal bodies finally collapse 20:17 and give up, we have his life in us. This is so different from the message that is go that is preached in a lot of Christianom which is simply you get to go to heaven. What good would it be if I get to go to heaven and I still don't have this 20:34 unchanging life in me? And that's not the gospel at all. It's a false gospel that God's not going to change you here on this earth but somehow you're just going to go to heaven unchanged. Oh, heaven would be misery for me if I 20:50 was not changed. Listen to this please carefully children also. If God was unable to change me and then he takes me to heaven unchanged, it would be hell for me because I'm not 21:08 changed. Everybody God is there. He has the eternal life. He is the unchanging God. But here I am changing. Which means even in heaven I can change. I can be in bad moods. It's not heaven the place that frees me 21:26 from being who I am from having bad moods and frees me from sin. It's that God has brought heaven in here that he's given life to my mortal bodies to my mortal body through the Holy Spirit. So that now you put me in hell and I have 21:42 the life of God. What do you think will happen if God was to actually go into hell? If God was actually to go into hell, that would become heaven. Why? Not because of the fire around it and the burning and all of that is because of 21:55 his eternal life. He brings his unchanging life wherever he goes. Now you and I brothers, sisters, children are about to go into changing circumstances. It might feel like hell sometimes with your coworker or your neighbor or something else. How 22:14 is it that we're going to overcome overwhelmingly like our memory verse for this week is because God is giving us his life. So the first half I was talking about for many Christians is full of energy and excitement and then 22:28 over time it just starts to get a little bit too heavy, a little tiring. What will the second half of your life be like? Brothers and sisters and children. I think many of us are in that second half. Many of us have been 22:42 Christians for many years, walked with God, and now we're in that critical phase of what is it going to be like when you're going through the everyday circumstances of life. It just feels like routine. Day by day, a new trial, 22:57 another week, some good weeks, some hard weeks. in that second half of life where the excitement of initially coming to Christ has worn off. That emotional excitement that you had when you first met Christ, that's worn off now. Now is 23:12 the test of what your second half will be like. Jesus told the church in Ephesus, "You've left your first love. Now you're in the second half and you're just going through the motions. You're not in this out of deep passionate love 23:29 for me. And this is what the Lord wants to call us back to to return to our first love. In Ecclesiastes 7, it says in verse 8, the end of a matter is better than its beginning. And this is a word of hope for me. It's a promise. The end of the 23:47 matter. Do you have hope, dear brothers, dear sisters, that the end of your life will be better than the beginning? And I'm talking about your spiritual life. Sure, we all started out a mess. We all made a bungle of things. But the 23:59 beginning of your Christian life, as wonderful as that was, as amazing as it is that God brought you to his life, the end is going to be better. Do you have hope for that? I hope you do. And are you are you experiencing that in 24:13 increasing measure that each day is a little bit better? Each day is a little bit better. Each day is a little bit better. Because we're moving towards this destination where the end is going to be better than the beginning. That is 24:25 the hope I have because God is giving me this unchanging life. At the end of my life, at the beginning of my Christian life, everything was brand new. I was excited and I had hope and I thought this is going to be a wonderful life 24:41 following Jesus. And then I actually started to live this life and it got a little bit difficult at times. It got a little bit heavy at times. Circumstances around me were hard. People abandoned me because of my love for Christ. Uh I went 24:53 through suffering. I went through disappointments, whatever it is that I had to go through, but through it all, God was leading me towards his eternal life that has no change. I believe Paul experienced this. If you turn with me to 1 Corinthians chapter 9, 25:14 can you imagine what it was like for the Apostle Paul or Saul as he was called at that time on the road to Damascus when he saw Jesus and as it were he's he got blind first but then his eyes were opened he was filled with the Holy Spirit and he's 25:29 like this is Jesus this is the one I have found like we sing that song I have found him whom I my soul was craving Deep down, I believe Paul had a craving. Saul had a craving. I I want it's craving, craving, craving, craving. And 25:44 finally, he saw Jesus. And he says, "Aha, hallelujah. I have found him." But it got better for Paul. Yes, he faced trials. He faced hardships. It says he was floating around in the deep sea for 24 hours, a night and a day, because he was out 26:01 there serving Christ. And the Christ whom he was serving seemed to have abandoned him, at least from the worldly perspective. He got beatings many times, imprisoned and taunted and and and tortured and beaten. And then on top of 26:16 that, he says, I've got the burden of these churches. I go to this church and find their backsliden and somebody else loves money. And I find I go to there and there's other problems. Two brothers can't get along. They're fighting or two 26:28 sisters are jealous of each other. And that's the burden on top of everything else that Paul is dealing. But he says, "But in all these things we I am overwhelmingly conquering." Why, Paul? Because it's not me trying to make it 26:42 through this trial. It is me receiving God's life. 1 Corinthians chapter 9, he says in verse 23, I do all things for the sake of the gospel so that I may become a fellow partaker of it. What does that mean, 27:00 Paul? What are you doing? He says, do you not know? Verse 24, that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize. Run in such a way that you may win. Everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. They then do 27:19 it to make to receive a perishable wreath. But we an imperishable. Therefore, I run in such a way as not without aim. I box in such a way as not beating the air. But I discipline my body and make it my slave so that after 27:35 I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified. You see the passion in Paul? He's running to win. He's running to lay hold of that eternal life. Running to receive this eternal life. He says similar words in Philippians 27:51 chapter 3. Philippians 3 verse 8 or verse 7. Whatever things were gained to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ. More than that, I count 28:11 all things to be lost in view of the surpassing value of receiving eternal life, knowing Christ Jesus, my Lord. This was the most important thing for Paul. He I didn't He didn't want a ministry. He didn't want a reputation. 28:26 He didn't want anything else except I want eternal life. I want to know Christ Jesus my Lord in such a way that I would receive this life, this unshakable life for whom I have suffered the loss of all things and count them but rubbish so 28:41 that I may gain Christ and may be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith, so that I may know 28:54 him and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings. being conformed to his death in order that I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already obtained it or have already become 29:08 perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which I was also laid hold of by Christ Jesus. Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet. But one thing I do, forgetting what lies behind and reaching 29:25 forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. This was Paul's motivation. You know this verse in Matthew chapter 6 verse 33. I've been meditating on this 29:46 verse a little bit and I've wondered why is it that so many Christians who start out well who had a passion for the Lord and even preach to others at some point something goes wrong and they they lose sight of it and they've been taken up 30:01 with earthly things. They're blinded by it. The love of money or the love of reputation, the love of ministry even. And I've wondered and I I don't seek to judge others but I seek to learn from their bad example for myself and watch 30:14 out for it who warned about Deus who having loved this present world abandoned me. Think about Paul pressing on. He's like I want more more of your life more of your life. More unshakable life Lord. And here's Deeus who's kind 30:30 of coming along but at some point he's like nah it's okay. I think I just got to go back. loved this present world, loved something that would fade. If it could happen to somebody who was walking with Paul as his coworker, 30:47 I mean, I I think that there couldn't be any greater calling than that to walk with Paul as a coworker. Here's Paul pressing on. I I I don't have laid, but I'm running to win. I haven't laid a hold of it yet, but I'm pressing on. I'm 31:00 pressing on. I'm running faster. And here's somebody who's seeing this man running faster. But he's at some point he just grows tired. The second half of Deeus's life was worse than the first. Whatever it was that first half of Deus 31:18 life that caused him to come and become a co-orker with Paul and he forsook everything and was serving with Paul. At some point he just grew tired. He's like, "Ah, I've had enough of this. I can't handle it anymore." Quite likely 31:29 Paul had to discipline him or correct him about something. Deeus loved his reputation too much, loved himself too much. He said, "Nah, Paul, I can't follow you." And walked away, but he loved this present world. Something 31:45 about the present. He wasn't taken up with eternity. He lost sight of it. What a sad story. And I've been thinking about that. How does that happen? How will that happen to me? I don't want it to, but I want to be watchful. I want to 31:58 learn from the lesson of others. Matthew 6:33 we read, "Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be added to you." And in this verse, I found an answer. At least it's helped me and I thought I 32:12 would share that with you. So you say, "Yes, Lord, I'm seeking first your kingdom and your righteousness." And the question the Lord asked me was Santosh, what are you seeking second? For many Christians, they say, "I'm going to put 32:26 you first, Lord. I'll go to Sunday meeting the first day of the week. I'm going to show up. I'm going to do my dues, pay my 10%. Even if you say it's advance and you know sometimes people ask me this question the 10% should it be pre-tax or 32:41 after tax somebody who loves themselves and thinking what what is God really going to is he going to ask me oh you gave it before tax so no it's not worthy. Is that really the God you serve? These are people who are calculating with God. 32:57 Say, 'Lord, I'll give you first. You say, "Seek first my kingdom and my and my righteousness. So, I'm going to show up on Sunday morning. That's the first thing I'm going to do. I'm going to give you that." Or, "First thing in the day, 33:09 I'm going to read my Bible. That's the first thing I'm going to do." It's a very good thing to do, children. The problem is, what do you do after that? You say, "Well, Lord, I've given you the first 10 minutes of this day. Now, will 33:20 you bless the rest of my day because I want to live for myself. I want to have a little bit more money. I want a little bit more of this and a little bit more of that. I'm going to give you what? Okay, you want half an hour? Sure, I'll 33:29 give you half an hour. Just let me have the rest. And it's those who have this seek first his kingdom and seek second yourself mentality for whom the second half eventually fades. And God is going to be a very boring God 33:47 if you give him first and keep second for yourself. Seek first his kingdom. And really the message here is seek his kingdom. Period. That's it. Let's turn to 1 Timothy chapter 6. If you are seeking something after you 34:08 seek God, something for yourself. And oh brothers, sisters, children, God has been digging into the depths of my heart to show me. Yes, Santosh. I see that I I'm first and I'm second and I'm third. But you know what I found seventh in 34:23 your life was some love of self something for yourself. Initially it was yourself fully and then you came to know me. Now you put me first. But I see that something else was second. Then you I I got second and I got third place and I 34:38 got fourth place. I've got the first four places in your life. But it's no wonder because you love yourself. Fifth, that at some point the shaking, the the trial gets so hard that you finally give up. Dear brothers, dear sisters, dear 34:56 children, any time that I find that I can be shaken and that my response to that shaking is something uncristlike, like Amy Carmichael said, if that drop of bitter water finally comes up, then I know that I was not seeking 35:16 Christ through and through. I was seeking first his kingdom, but somewhere along the line, second, third, fourth, maybe 10th or 100th. And God is so determined to shake us and shake us and allow the shaking to come into our lives so that we get to the 35:31 root of anything of self that still remains. I thought of it like this that maybe there's a cup of a drop of bitterness in my cup close to the top. It's near the top. You shake it a little bit, bitterness comes out. Now that was 35:46 few years ago. Now you God has given you a little bit more of his life and that bitterness that self-seeking has dropped down a little bit. And can you allow God to shake you? Are you willing to let God shake you and shake you and shake you 35:59 and shake you so that finally you get to that drop that's a few layers below? And when it finally comes out after a month of shaking or 6 months of shaking, then we have understood the promise of God. Before we go to 1 Timothy 6, I want 36:15 to show you a verse in Hebrews 12. A verse that used to scare me, but now I see it as a promise. Hebrews chapter 12. 36:36 Hebrews 12 verse 26. In the middle of verse 26, he says, "Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heaven." Verse 27. This expression, "Yet once more," denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken as of created 36:55 things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Yet once more, I will shake Santos. This week, I'm going to shake him again. and you say, "Lord, I've been shaken last week and like that that was like a hard week for me." He says, "I'm going 37:13 to do it again this week." Let me ask you, children, if you're following in your Bible, or even if you're not, is that a promise or a command or a statement? What do you think it is? Anybody know? It's the secret is in the 37:29 first part of that verse. What does it say? It is a I'm not sure yet. It is a promise. He says, "Shonto, I want to give you a promise for this week." Here we are, September 6th, 2026. He says, "Lord, give me a promise, something that'll 37:46 take me through this week." He says, "Here's my promise. I'm going to shake you." Does that shock you? Say, "Lord, no, that's not the promise I was looking for, Lord. I was something like, oh, um, though a thousand fall by my side and 37:59 10,000 on the other side, ah, I will not be shaken." Yeah, okay. There may be a time for that. But today perhaps the promise that God wants to give you is I'm going to shake you Santosh because I see that a few layers deep is something 38:10 that can still be shaken. I want to give you an unshakable life. I want to bring you to the place where a million can fall by the wayside but you will not be shaken. But in order for me to get you there, I must shake you now. Brothers, 38:23 sisters, children, God is shaking us so that nothing of the shakable remains in us. Yet he his voice shook the earth then but now he has promised. When they heard it yet once more I will shake not 38:42 only the heaven or the earth. They panicked and they ran and they dared not even touch Mount Si and they said Moses you go. We don't want to go anywhere near this God who says he will shake heaven and earth. Back then he shook and they panicked and 38:56 they ran and they didn't come to know him. But today when he says I will shake, he we our response will say you're going to shake it for my good and I'm going to come into this fire consuming fire verse 29 I'm going to come into this consuming fire in even 39:13 though initially I might think Lord what is this week going to look like if you tell me that you're going to shake I mean last week was hard enough you mean this week is going to be worse more shaking Lord last week it was only two 39:25 days of shaking this week it's going to be four and the week after that it's going to be every day of shaking. But he says, "Stosh, will you hold on to me?" It's a promise cuz I'm going to free you from anything that can be shaken. 39:37 Therefore, verse 28, since we are receiving a life, a kingdom which cannot be shaken. Let us show gratitude. Let us say, "Thank you, Lord, that I'm alive today, September 6th. That you haven't given up hope on me. That you promised to shake 39:55 me." I'm going to say, "Thank you, Lord, for the shaking that's ahead of me this week." Let us show gratitude by which may we may offer to God an acceptable service. Oh, do you can you see the delight in God's heart when he promises 40:09 to you, "I'm going to shake you." And you don't respond like the Israelites did. You respond with gratitude. You say, "Thank you, Lord, that you're going to shake me this week." and we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe because 40:23 he is a consuming fire. Let's go to 1 Timothy 6 now. 1 Timothy 6:9, "Those who want to get 40:40 rich fall into temptation and a snare, and many foolish and harmful desires, which plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is the root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it, have 40:58 wandered away from the faith and have pierced themselves with many griefs. But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold 41:13 of the eternal life to which you were called. Take hold of it. This unshakable. Whenever you see eternal, read unshakable. It's not the quantity of life. It's not time bound. The characteristic of eternal life is not its time. It has 41:30 nothing to do with time. It's irrelevant of time. It's a quality of life where even if you were to live for a short period of time like Jesus lived for 33 years on this on this earth, what he had within him was eternal life. Death could 41:46 not conquer that eternal life. So you see eternal life has nothing to do with the number of years. You don't have eternal life doesn't make you live a little bit longer. It's you could only live for 33 years and have eternal life 42:00 like Jesus did. You could live for 90 years and have it. It's not quantity. It's that quality. It cannot be shaken. Somebody could live for one day and have it. One year and have it. Maybe I only have one more year left on my on this 42:15 earth. I don't know. I may not even have tomorrow. I don't know. But say I say, "Lord, by the time I reach the end of this short life that I have on this earth, I want to receive your eternal life. Lay hold of eternal life." He 42:27 says, "To which you were called." And this is verse 12. And you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. Have you you know this is a a command. And do you know what that good confession is? Lay hold take hold of the 42:44 eternal life to which you were called and you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. What is that confession? Thankfully, we're told in the next few verses it's the same confession that Jesus made. Verse 13. 42:58 I charge you in the presence of God who gives life to all, who gives this unshakable life to all things and of Christ Jesus who testified the good confession before Pontius Pilate. There we're told what it is. What was that good 43:13 confession? Let's turn to John chapter 18. This whenever you read something like that, the good confession before Pontius Pilate, if you don't know what that is, you say, "Okay, let me look it up. Pontious Pilot. Where did that happen? 43:28 Thankfully, we have internet tools and Bible search tools that you can find out where Jesus interacted with Pontius Pilate. John chapter 18. Here's his good confession. Here's Pontius Pilate. I want you to get a picture of the scene here. Pontius 43:42 Pilate standing with all his authority put on his great robes. He's sitting on his throne. And he says to him, "Don't you know I have the authority to uh harm you? I can put you to death and all these things." He says in chapter 19 43:55 verse 10, "Do you not know that I have authority to release you and I have authority to crucify you?" And in the midst of this, and here's Pilate looking like he has authority. Maybe he has some fancy robe on and he's got his judges attire on. He says, "I 44:12 can send you to death right now, you." And on the other side is Jesus, beaten, blood streaming down his face. His beard is half pulled out. He's got a crown of thorns on his head and they've whipped him and there's just blood pouring out 44:26 of his body. There's there's a trail of blood walking into the courthouse. Who has authority in that situation? Jesus says in verse 11 of chapter 19, you don't have authority over me. 44:42 My father who is shaking me right now has allowed you to shake me. That's all pilot. You have no authority over me. That's the same thing you can tell the devil. Pilot is a picture of the devil. The devil's coming at you to shake you 44:56 this week. You don't have to be afraid of him. You can look the devil and say, "Devil, yeah, I know you're going to shake me. You're going to allow circumstances to come that will harass me, but you don't have authority over 45:06 me. Whatever you're doing to me, God has granted you permission to do it because he has promised to shake me and to leave me with an unshakable life." What was the confession? John 18, the previous chapter, Pilate says to him, 45:23 "I'm not a Jew, am I? Your own nation and the chief priests delivered you to me. What have you done?" John 18:35. And Jesus said, "Let me tell you this confession. My kingdom is not of this world." Jesus said in John 6:33, "Seek first his 45:39 kingdom, and what shall you seek second?" What did Jesus seek second? He sought the father's kingdom first and then after that no your father's kingdom second my kingdom you you look a hundth you look a thousandth you look a 45:56 millionth you'll not find my kingdom I'm not interested in anything in this earth my kingdom is not of this world if my kingdom were of this world when things got really bad and the beating got so harsh and it was extreme pain where 46:12 blood was coming out of my por wars, I would have called down angels to defend me. But the reason I'm not looking to get out of this situation by some easy fix is because my kingdom is not of this world. And that has brought me hope. 46:26 That is my confession. Peter tells us to give a confession of the hope that is within you. Dear brothers, dear sisters, I hope you'll go into this week with a confession of the hope with that is within you where you can say to the 46:38 devil or any agent that he sends, my kingdom is not of this world. I want the unshakable kingdom. I want the unshakable life. Doesn't matter what happens, what doesn't happen, what I get, what I don't get. I my kingdom is 46:53 not of this world. God is giving me an unshakable kingdom. And if our eyes are fixed on seeing that, then anything that the devil brings in front of our way to tempt us or anything that God allows to be taken out from our lives won't deter 47:10 us from our joy and our hope in the kingdom that is to come, the unshakable kingdom. Everything of this earth, family, everything of this earth is passing away. John 1 John 2 says the world is passing away and everything that is in it. If 47:27 something was taken away from you recently or something will be taken away from you this week you it shouldn't be a surprise the world is passing away. It was going to be taken away at some point. It will either be taken away from 47:40 you at the end of your life or at some point before that. The money did you suffer some financial loss? Did you get a demotion in work? Well, at the end of your life, your job's going to be taken away. Period. Did they lay you off from 47:55 your job? Okay, it's going to be taken away. Period. Seek the unshakable kingdom. And if you seek for that which you cannot lose, remember the Jim Elliot saying, "He is no fool who gives on this earth what he cannot keep to gain that 48:14 which he cannot lose." He is no fool who gives. Say, "Lord, you can take it away." What he cannot keep anyway. When the Lord allows something to be taken away from you, you say, "Lord, you can take it because I I couldn't keep it anyway. 48:29 [laughter] Maybe I could have kept it another week, another month, but at some point it was going to be taken away from you. So, I don't want it. Lord, you can take it away from me today. You could have taken it away from me yesterday. my job, my 48:40 this thing that I want, that other desire that I have, earthly desire. He's no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain the unshakable kingdom which nobody can take from you. He cannot lose it. The kingdom that we are being given, 48:58 brothers, sisters, children, the life that we have been giving cannot be stolen. NOBODY CAN TAKE that away from me. I I don't expect that at some point I I follow Jesus and I get his life, his unshakable life and at some point 49:11 somebody can take that FROM ME. NO, THAT'S THE LIFE HE GIVES US IN EXCHANGE. He says, "I ask you to give this up now. I ask you to give that thing up now. That pleasure, that opportunity, that desire for something here on this earth. 49:25 I'm asking you to give it up, Santo, so that I can give you something that nobody can take from you." And Pilate thought he could take it. Caiaphas and Annus thought they could take it. Judas thought he could take it. The whole 49:38 world, all of people around him thought they could take it from Jesus. But he they couldn't. They had no authority over him. This is the life. My kingdom is not of this world. Turn with me to First Kings chapter 6. I mentioned Deus in passing. We're not 49:55 told much about why Deeus fell away. I personally believe that it's because he was corrected by Paul. Paul was a was a stern man. He he his allegiance was to the kingdom of God and to nothing else. And Deeus, as close as he was to Paul, 50:11 at some point got offended and said, "Nah, I think I can find some." And I I've said this before, I'll say it again. What do you think Deus did? Did he go and start a business? Did he go and become some sinful wretch and 50:23 adulterer and all that? No. I'm quite sure Deeus started another church. said, "Yeah, we we'll also serve Jesus Christ." Paul's got his church. I've got mine, too. Where do you think Deus is today? First Kings chapter 6 50:43 verse 38. Solomon is an example of somebody who started out his life well. first half of his life was amazing, excellent. And God had even chosen him over David to build the temple. Solomon started 51:02 amazingly honoring God. You read his prayer. You'll see some of that here. Had such wisdom. He and God said, "Ask for anything." And he says, "I want wisdom." And God commends him. You didn't ask for wealth. You didn't ask 51:15 for success over your enemies and all that. You asked for wisdom. Oh, I'M GOING TO GIVE IT TO YOU. HE WAS A MAN who was started his life amazingly. John and then first kings 6 he spent seven years first kings 6:38 in the 11th year in the month of bull 51:35 which is the eighth month the house was finished throughout all its parts and according to all its plans. If you've been following the reading plan a few weeks ago, we were going through that. We saw the detail and the he called all 51:45 these experts and he got wood from here and gold from there and he gave of his own as well and he planned it so perfectly and it took seven years. Seven years is a long time. Uh I joke with Xander. It's his birthday today. I tell him I joke with him that 52:03 he's going to be seven. He's actually much older than that. Seven is a long time. But all that's almost his entire life. Some of you children are not even seven years. Seven years. That's a long period of time actually. 52:16 And he day by day, seven years, Lord, I've been serving you, serving you, serving you, serving you, serving you. God says, "I am pleased." And then Solomon says, "Okay, Lord, are you happy now? Let me do what I really wanted to get to. I want to build my own 52:31 house." Chapter 7:1. It's sad that there's a chapter division between the two. So, he was 7 years in building it. Now Solomon was building his own house 13 years. And you can say Solomon could say, "What was so wrong with me building my own house? 52:45 I gave God I mean look at the house. I finished it. I waited until I finished God's house before I started building my own." And there was the problem. Solomon's heart was divided. I don't know at what point. At some point in those seven years, at 53:03 some point in those seven years, this day by day building God's house, building God's house, building God's house, building God's house, building God's house, it's just like, ah, what's in it for me? Started to creep in 53:15 and you know, it's like, okay, God's house and building the church, man. We're talking about building the church. It's been seven years. Yeah, it's good, but what about me? I want to build a house for myself, right? I said, okay. 53:27 And at some point in the back of his mind starts to creep in a little thought. Let's finish this and oh I as I was building this I had some idea about how I can make my house also good. Now Solomon was building his own house 13 53:42 years and he finished all his house. He sought first God's kingdom and he sought second himself. Now I don't even think it matters that he was double the amount of time almost that he built his own house. But that'll happen. You'll give 53:57 God 10% and you'll keep 90%. And then you'll say, "No, okay, let me give God 40%." Man, everybody says, "Man, he's one of our best donors. He gives 40%." And they don't know that deep down within he's holding back 60% for 54:13 himself. That's what happened to Ananas and Safh. They kept back a little bit. I think it could have even been 5%. We're not told exactly. They said, "Everybody else is giving 100% 100%. Seek first and seek second and seek 54:28 third and seek a hundth and seek a millionth. God's kingdom. That's what we're here. God's kingdom alone." And along comes somebody says, "Let me just keep back 1%. I'm going to give 99%." And God says, "I can't have that in my 54:43 church at all." This is how the early church was built where a little bit of holding back for myself meant immediate death. Now, thank God that it's not like that today, but you think that's a different God. The God who pronounced 54:58 judgment on Ananas seconds after he brought his offering and on his wife Safia seconds after she came. Do you think he's changed now? He says, "Yeah, you know, my standards have changed. I'm willing to accept 75% now because I see the church, the whole 55:16 bunch of half-hearted, backsliden people. So, I used to be 100% and I killed Ananas and Safia for it. I've lowered my standards now. Is Is that the God we serve and believe in? Absolutely not. He's the same yesterday, today, and 55:29 forever. His standards are still 100%. It's just that he's a little bit more patient, long-suffering, but he's saying, "I promise you something better. If you give me 100%, see what you will get in exchange. See the unshakable life 55:45 you will have in exchange. Don't hold back even that little bit. Now, maybe nobody knows that you're holding it back, but you know, God knows. Prophets will know like Peter did. Ananas and Safire kept it to the two of them and says, "Nobody will ever find 56:01 out, right?" And the God we believe, he's a loving God. He's not going to judge us for just the 1% we held back. Oh, he did. So, giving God everything. Now you see he built his own house and now he's continuing on with life and he goes in 56:17 chapter 8 verse 22 you read about Solomon first kings 8 Solomon stood before the altar of the Lord and here he is now standing in front of the altar of the Lord and he's his heart is divided the rest of the people don't know David 56:33 his father is long dead and gone he was a man after God's own heart David with all his flaws even the man who committed adultery with a woman and killed her husband and then married her. This man when he was exposed, he repented, but he 56:45 was a man after God's own heart. And here's Solomon. We don't read that he killed anybody or and and took that person's wife. But here's Solomon now standing before the altar of the Lord saying, "Lord, look at that wonderful 56:57 house that I've given you." And nobody but Solomon and God know that his heart is divided. A little bit of the love of self has come in. He's seeking his own. And he says, "Oh Lord, the God of Israel, there is no God like you." Look 57:12 at the pious prayer. That the undescerning Jews thought, "Man, godly Solomon, that he is." Turn over another chapter. Chapter nine, verse chapter 9, verse one. Now it came 57:31 about when Solomon had finished building the house of the Lord and his house, three crucial words. Oh, that the testimony of Solomon had finished with when Solomon had finished building the house of the Lord. End of story. There wasn't time. He gave 57:48 everything to God so that there was no time to build his own house. Dear family, is there room in your heart for your own house? That's the question the Lord's been asking me. No matter how small it is, that's the area if you give 58:03 if you leave 1% that is the 1% that the devil will find a foothold in. Jesus said John 14:30, "The prince of this world is coming and he has nothing in me." Can you let's keep a finger in first kings 9. I want you to see this verse in John. I use 58:21 that verse as a test often in any circumstance. When my people at work tell me that they like my work or people at work tell me that they don't like my work. When people are praise me to my face or curse me behind my back, it doesn't matter. I 58:36 say, Lord, let it be this. John 14:30, the last part of that verse, the ruler of the world is coming and he has zero in me because I've given a 100 to the Lord. There's zero in me. me. There's nothing of me. I'm not trying to defend 58:52 myself. I'm not trying to get a reputation. I'm not trying to prove that I'm such a holy person or that I was misunderstood or anything like that. He There's zero in me. I'm not seeking to build my kingdom at all. back in first kings chapter nine 59:13 when when Solomon had finished building the house of the Lord and his house and all that he wanted to do and the Lord appeared to him and says Solomon I I see the language I see you standing in front of the congregation with your hands up 59:25 high and saying Lord let's talk oh what a wonderful house I built and the Lord says listen I've heard your prayer and I've consecrated this house this you built this house for me I consecrated that house. But I want to give you a 59:38 warning. Verse six, if you or your sons indeed turn away from following me and do not keep my commandments, what was the commandment? You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, with all 59:53 your strength, all and my statutes which I have set before you, and you go and serve other gods and worship them. Then I will cut off from Israel from the land which I have given them and the house which I have consecrated for a name I will cast it 1:00:08 out of my sight. You will find not only your own house will fall away that work God's house will also be destroyed. And sure enough Solomon's temple was destroyed. God wanted that temple to be preserved. God wants your labor for his 1:00:24 kingdom to be preserved. But the only way it will is if he is foremost. If he is everything. First Kings 10. Let's go on to the next chapter. The queen of Sheba comes and look at that. She's [clears throat] uh verse 4. First Kings 10:4. The Queen 1:00:40 of Sheba perceived all the wisdom of Solomon and the house that he had built, the food of his table, the seating of his servants, the attendant of his waiters and their attire, his cupbearers. And what did Solomon say? He 1:00:52 says, "Look at how the God how God has blessed me, Queen of Sheba." And this is the message that's going on in Christendom today in the prosperity gospel. Honor God and he will honor you with some earthly thing. Oh, God is 1st 1:01:04 Samuel 2:30. We know that them that honor me, I will honor. But my quest, the question the Lord's been asking me is Santo, are you seeking that honor? You're saying, Lord, I'll honor you, but you also honor me. Give me a good good 1:01:17 life. Bless me. Bless my family. Help me to be successful in my job. I honored you, Lord. So now honor me. Are you seeking that honor? That's seeking second. And she sees this and he I'm sure he said, "Yeah, this is God's blessing. 1:01:37 God's blessing, but it's my house. Is God has blessed me, but it's my house." And verse 18, First Kings 10:18, the king made a great throne of ivory. This is speaking about his own house. And overlaid it with refined gold. There 1:01:54 was six steps to the throne and a round top to the throne at its rear and arms on each side of the seat and two lions standing beside the arms etc etc. So verse 23 King Solomon became greater than all the kings of the earth in 1:02:13 riches and in wisdom. And all the earth was seeking the presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom which God had put in his heart. And what would Solomon say? He says, "Look at this wonderful house I have. God has blessed me." 1:02:29 Now, chapter 11 verse one, Solomon loved many foreign women. How did that come in? How did this love for other things of this world come in? He left a little room. You could say, "What was Now, obviously, by the time we 1:02:45 get to chapter 11:1, it's it's over. He's married those other women. He's going to be worshiping idols in a matter of days. He's going to be sacrificing to idols. How did it get to that point? At one point somewhere along the way, he a 1:02:58 little bit of the love of self came in and his entire life was destroyed. He It goes on, he he married, this is how bad it's gotten now. The man who said, "Lord, I I want to build a kingdom for you." He built God's house. 1:03:12 And here's the man who built God's house. Now it said of him, he loved the daughter of Pharaoh, the Moabitete women, Ammonite, Sedonian, Hittite women, from the nations concerning which the Lord had said to the sons of Israel, "You shall not 1:03:24 associate with them." Verse three, he had 700 wives, princesses, and 300 concupines. And his wives turned his heart away. For when Solomon was old, his wives turned his heart away after other gods, and his heart was not wholly 1:03:38 devoted to the Lord his God, as the heart of David his father had been. Solomon went after Asterith, the goddess. He's worshiping a female god. After building God's house, the second half of his life, the goddess of the 1:03:52 Sidonians, and after Milcom, the detestable idol of the Ammonites. Solomon did what was evil in the sight of the Lord. The man who built God's house did evil in the sight of the Lord and did not follow the Lord fully as David 1:04:09 his father had done. Then Solomon built a high place for Chemosh, the detest. It's just getting worse. The idol of Moab on the mountain, which is east of Jerusalem, and from Molech, the detestable idol of the sons of Ammon. Thus also he did for all his 1:04:26 foreign wives who burnt incense and sacrificed to their gods. Now the Lord was angry with Solomon. Verse 14, raised up an adversary to destroy. God became his enemy. Is it possible to build the house of God 1:04:45 and to invest in it? And then after all of that, God becomes your enemy. For the first half of your life, you're serving God wholeheartedly, building his church. The second half of your life, God becomes your enemy. It starts with 1%. 1:04:58 Brothers, sisters, is there a 1% in your heart that you're looking for something for yourself? A reputation, a name, success, God to take care of all your needs. Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness. Actually, the literal 1:05:11 word there is seek only his kingdom and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS. AND GOD WILL ADD. You don't have to seek it at all. You don't have to seek the job. You don't have to seek the success. God will add it. Oh, do you think that God will be a 1:05:25 debter to anybody who gives himself 100% to him or herself, children, young people, you have a life ahead of you. Oh, that you will give God 100%. and he will add exactly what you need. I'll close with this. If you turn to 1:05:39 Job, Job was going through a trial. He was going through a shaking. You have heard of the endurance of Job. James reminds us if you turn to the book of Job. Job made it in all these things. God didn't he didn't dishonor God. God was a 1:05:56 little bit angry with him. And then Job repented. But in the midst of this trial, in the midst of this shaking, I see a little bit of what kept Job going through. Now, he's not our example. Jesus Christ is. But we can learn some 1:06:09 things from Job. James reminds us of that. We can take the good parts of Job and say, "Lord, let me live by that." Here are some of the good parts of Job. Job 23 verse 8. Do you ever feel like this, family? Behold, I go forward, but 1:06:24 he's not there. I I I I don't seem to see God here. there. I feel like he's I don't see him. And I go backward, but I cannot perceive him. I thought, okay, he wasn't there. So, I went the other way. Nope, he's not there either. I can't 1:06:37 perceive him. When he acts on the left, I cannot behold him. He turns on the right, I cannot see him. It's just all the way around. I'm just like, Lord, I'm a little perplexed here. What is going on? Why is it seems like every 360 1:06:51 degrees I turn, it seems like shaking, shaking, shaking, shaking. No matter which way I turn, more shaking. Another day, more shaking. That's what Job's feeling like. And look at what he says, though. He knows. [snorts] 1:07:05 You know what? I see the contrast between verse 89 and verse 10. I don't know, but he knows. I don't know. And often you may say, Lord, I want to know. And he says, I'm not going to tell you. One thing I'll give you is the promise. 1:07:19 I'm going to shake you. I'm going to shake you until only what's unshakable remains. I don't know, but he knows. He knows the way I take. And when he has tried me, I shall come forth as gold. I love the Living Bible paraphrase of this 1:07:34 verse. He knows every detail of what is happening to me. Oh, brothers, I maybe there's somebody that needs to hear that promise today. He knows every detail. Even your husband doesn't know. Your wife doesn't know. Your parents don't 1:07:48 know. Your children don't know. Your brothers and sisters don't know. BUT HE KNOWS. OH, your father knows every little detail of how you felt yesterday, how you feel today, how you're going to feel in a few days when that trial 1:08:01 comes. He knows it in intimate detail. And when he has tried you, when he has shaken you, you're going to come forth as pure gold, unshakable. Turn back a few pages to chapter 19. Job chapter 19. It's a wonderful promise for you to take 1:08:22 to this week and take to your life going forward. Job 19:2. As for me, I love that phrase. I don't care about you. I don't care about somebody else. They maybe they feel like they have a right to feel agrieved or in a bad mood. What? But for me, as for me, 1:08:38 make this your goal, brothers, sisters, today and from now onward. As for me, I know that my redeemer lives. I don't know what's going on in my life. I don't know why. I don't even know the reasons why. But I know he lives. 1:08:55 And at the last, at the last, when all is said and done, at the last, he will take his stand on the earth. This redeemer who's on my side, who has promised to 1:09:13 shake everything that can be shaken so that only the unshakable can remain. This redeemer, he lives. He knows every detail of what is happening to me. And at the end of it all, he will take a stand. Will you take your stand with him, 1:09:28 brother, sister, child? Oh, that that will be the case. God and all those who were fully his will take their stand at the end. That's where I want to be. I don't care what goes on in between. The meanderings and the back and forth and the forward, 1:09:43 backward, right, left. I don't understand. I'm getting pulled this way and that way. And all of this is happening. But at the last, he will take a stand and I will take my stand with him and say, "Lord, I persevered until 1:09:55 the end. Those who endure to the end will be saved." Jesus said, "Heavenly Father, I pray that you will speak courage into our heart today. That every one of us will hear you saying, "Take courage, my son. Take courage, my 1:10:08 daughter. I'm giving you courage to go forward into this week, to go forward into this month, to go forward into the year ahead and the time that's left here on this earth. Take courage from me because at the last I will take my stand 1:10:21 and all that you will stand with me, having endured in faith until the end. Make it so, Lord. I pray that not my words, but your words will go into our heart and that we will receive faith. Thank you. Pour out your spirit upon us, 1:10:35 Lord. a spirit of faith, a spirit of wisdom and understanding, a spirit of revelation.
