0:07 Clap and sing. In my father's house, there are many, many rooms. In my father's house, there are many, many rooms. And I'm going up there now to prepare a place for you, that where I am, there you may also. Let's sing that 0:23 again. In my father's, in my father's house, there are many, many rooms. In my father's house, there are many, many rooms. And I'm going up there now to prepare a place for you. That where I am, there you may also. If I go, if I go 0:42 prepare a place for you, I will come back. Yes, he is. If I go prepare a place for you, I will come back again. And you know I am the way, the truth, the life. Keep my command. That where I am, there you may also be. That where I 1:00 am, there you may also be. Because the truth, the truth will set you free. In the world, you will have trouble. But I leave you my peace that where I am, there you may also be. Remember, you did not choose me. No, I 1:19 have chosen you. Remember, you did not choose me. Oh, I have chosen you. The world will show you hatred. The spirit show you truth. That where I am, there you may also be. That where I am, there 1:36 you may also be. Because the truth, the truth will set you free. In the world, you will have trouble. But I leave you my peace that where I am there you may also be. I come down from the father. Time for me 1:54 to go back up. I come down from the father. Time for me to go back up. One command I leave you. Love as I have love. That where I am there you may also be. That where I am there you may also 2:12 be. Because the truth, the truth will set you free. In the world you will have trouble, but I leave you my peace. That where I am, there you may also be. That's where I am. That where I am, there you may also be. Because the 2:31 truth, the truth will set you free. In the world, you will have trouble. But I leave you my peace that where I am there you may also be. I hope that when you're thinking about tomorrow and the week ahead, the month ahead and the year ahead that the one 5:10 thing you're looking forward to more than anything else is that Jesus might come. He is coming. It might be soon. It is. It is soon. We know that he is coming soon. Thank you, Lord Jesus, that you're coming to take us home. 5:31 >> You are Lord of creation and Lord of my life, Lord of the land and the sea. You are Lord of the heavens before there 5:47 was time. Lord of all lords you will be. We bow down and we worship you Lord. We bow down 6:02 and we worship you Lord. We bow down and we worship you Lord. Lord of all lords you will be. Can we sing that first verse again? You are Lord of creation. You are Lord of 6:21 creation and Lord of my life. Lord of the land and the sea. You were Lord of the heavens before there was time. Lord of all lords. You sing. We bow 6:41 down. We bow down and we worship you, Lord. We bow down and we worship you, Lord. We bow down and we worship you, Lord. 6:59 Lord of all lords who will be. We bow down and we crown you the king. 8:08 King of all kings you will be. King of all kings you will be. Before we spend a few minutes in prayer 8:24 and personal consecration, remember he invites you, dear family, dear brother, dear sister, dear children, because he is our father. He invites you to come boldly into his presence. And when you come there, you see that 8:39 he's seated on the mercy seat. It's a throne of grace where you can find help in time or need. And at the right hand, you see Jesus, your older brother, interceding for you 24/7, night and day. Anytime you go there and see the 8:54 presence of God and see the throne of God, you run there in your time of need, you see Jesus has been praying for you before you even got there. He was praying for that very need that you just faced. that time of need that you just 9:07 faced, he was praying because he knew it was coming. So look to him, pray to him. There is one mediator between God and man, the man Jesus Christ, the son of God and the son of man. He is there at the right hand. He's seated there. Look up, dear 9:23 brother, dear sister, and see Jesus. Let's sing this new hymn. It's an old hymn. It's a new for many of us, perhaps. And we'll pray together. Jesus my savior I pray thee 9:48 let me abide in thy peace >> all that brings rest and Jesus within in me in grace. Let me 10:14 help me thy words. >> Oh, he will help you. Ask him into thy image I pray. Oh, in my flesh there's resistance, 10:39 yet I delight in thy will. >> And in thy grace thou draw me, Savior, to follow thee still. and me, 11:00 holy, help me thy word to oy. >> Let me pull me into thine. 11:19 >> Is this the cry of your heart? Will you be willing to be bent and molded? Laws of thy body I cherish. From sin and death they set free. >> Thy precious love melts my heart. Yes. 11:42 Thank you Lord. >> Sweet and is suffering through me. and me. Help me thy word to Osto 12:09 thy image I pray. Thou art my head and my leader. Sweet is my rest, Lord, in thee. >> All that would burden and remove it, 12:30 Lord. Thank you. Thou dust remove far from me. and me. Hold me. Help me be thy word to all. 12:47 >> Will you help us Lord? We ask you me into thy image I pray. Walking in lights in resisting. 13:09 This is my coant with me. >> Thou it's by this give thy pro. Yes, we shall overcome that I triumpant shall be. Bend me. 13:30 Hold me. Help me thy words to oy. Let me glory into thy name 13:49 I pray. >> Pray with me family. Dear father, we ask we thank you first of all Lord and praise you and exalt you for who you are. You are the king of kings like we sang, the lord of lords, the name that is above every other name. We praise 14:05 you, heavenly father. We praise you, Lord Jesus. Thank you for sending the Holy Spirit who gives us the ability to praise so that it's not just our words, our human efforts or our human ideas to praise you, but it's the praise that 14:17 begins in heaven from you, through you, and to you. Lord, receive all the glory and honor and praise because it's your spirit within us, Lord, who is causing us to sing and causing us to rejoice in you. That's lifting our heads up and 14:29 saying, "I will not look at circumstances. I will not even look at myself, but I will look to you, my savior, my head, my leader. Thank you. Be exalted." Thank you, Lord Jesus. We see you high and lifted up, the lamb slain before the foundations of the 14:43 world for for our behalf. Thank you that we have a redeemer. Thank you that we have propitiation for all of our sins. Somebody who has died in our place so that we don't have to fear death. So that we've been set free from all fear, 14:56 all anxiety, all worry. We don't have to be afraid of anything because you defeated that greatest enemy of all, death. Thank you, Lord, for setting us free also from sin that we don't have to fear the consequences of our sin because 15:08 you took it. So we want to live, Lord, more and more in love with you, more and more freed from that power of sin. Will you send the Holy Spirit, Lord, to set us free more and more? Send grace. Pour out a spirit of grace in our midst. We 15:20 pray because we know if we have grace, we will not be sin will not be master over us. Give us that life more and more, Lord, in increasing measure that not one of us will miss out on this calling. You died and gave us everything, the riches of heaven. Thank 15:35 you, Father, for sending your son, Jesus, so that we could have all of heaven available to us. I pray that we won't waste our lives with the petty things of this earth, with the trifling things here, Lord, that catch our eye. 15:46 Help us to turn our gaze away from them and fix our eyes on you, Lord Jesus, that the things of this earth will really grow dim and completely darken our eyes that we won't be drawn to those things. Give us this life, Lord. We 15:58 pray. Thank you that the Holy Spirit will come and and exalt Jesus and glorify Jesus and make him precious to us and dear to us. Make it so, Lord. Thank you. I pray for any who are in a battle, in a spiritual battle. Maybe 16:11 they've been defeated this week or bound by addiction or other forms of bad habits and sin. Oh Lord, will you come and set them free? Break those bonds that are bound any. We ask in the name of Jesus, loose them completely, we pray 16:23 because you said that you gave the church authority on this earth to bind and it would be bound in the heavenlies and loose and it would be loosed in the heavenlies, Lord. So do that. bind the work of Satan. Bind the work of any uh 16:35 any of the spiritual forces of darkness in any life, in any marriage, in any home or in this church, in any relationship. We bind that work and we resist you, Satan, in the name of Jesus. And bind your work. We know that you're 16:47 afraid of the name of Jesus because he's defeated you on the cross and you're forever defeated. Thank you, Lord, for giving us this victory that we can really live overwhelmingly like conquerors. Make it so, Lord. We commit 16:58 our earthly needs as well to you. Thank you that that if we have sickness, we can ask you to heal us. We're not guaranteed it, but we ask that if it is your will, you would touch any who are sick. Those that are sick, can't be here 17:10 this morning or deal with constant sickness or ailments in their body, will you touch them right now? Even Lord, let your hands, your nail pierced hands be on them and heal them. Let your healing power flow through them. We know that 17:24 you have power today, Lord, seated there. All authority has been given to you in heaven and on earth. And so Lord, we ask if it is your will that you will heal them and l loose them. Our bodies are only for your kingdom and for your 17:34 glory. So Lord, will you give us health that we might serve you until the end of our lives with strength that you give us. Thank you, Father. We trust you for that. Thank you for our earthly jobs as well. The responsibilities you've given 17:47 us here on this earth. We commit that to you, Lord. the the things we have to do this week, whatever it might be, whether it's school for the children or exams or work responsibilities that we have. Lord, we live like we sang in this 17:59 world. We will have tribulation. In this world, we will have uncertainty, but you have overcome the world so we can take courage. Lord, I pray that every one of us will leave today this place with courage that you're giving us through 18:11 the Holy Spirit. You call us, you you call to us and say, "Take courage from me." So we look to you and receive that courage, Lord, that we need for today and for tomorrow and for the days to come. May we increasingly live as bold 18:24 witnesses, powerful witnesses, undaunted, Lord, by the task ahead of us, undaunted by the pressures and the darkness of the world around us. Because your light is in us and the light always overcomes the darkness. Let it be so, 18:37 Lord, that the life of Christ in us this week will be like a light that's shining and piercing the darkness wherever we go. Make it so, Lord, even for our children. So, pour out your spirit. We pray, Lord. And I pray that a spirit of 18:49 unity will be in our midst. Unite our marriages. I pray for every marriage in this room and those listening to this prayer. Unite husbands and wives in deeper unity. Lord, you said that we would be one as you and the father are 19:01 one, Lord Jesus. And that's our goal. And that's if if it if you hadn't said it, we couldn't ask for it. But you said it. You promised it. And so we ask you that you will do that increasingly transform us. Help us to be that grain 19:13 of wheat that falls into the ground. and dies so that we can experience true unity and bear fruit in our marriages. Make our homes one, Lord, that we'll be knit together, parents with children. Restore the hearts of our children to 19:24 us, parents and the parents to the children. And pray that you'll de knit deeper unity in this church as well, brothers and sisters and children. Knit together not with human love, Lord, or human affection, but the knitting of the 19:36 Holy Spirit. Thank you, Father. You have begun that good work. It's your It was your idea, Lord, to build your church, and we're just a part of it. And we give ourselves fully to you, knowing that you who started that work will complete it. 19:49 And the gates of hell will never prevail against this church that you're building. Help us, Lord. Thank you. Thank you, Lord. And we pray that you will break us, melt us, and like we sang, mold us into your image. Help us 20:01 to obey your word. You You know how weak we are, how of how easy it is to fall, how easy it is for disobey. You're a sympathizing high priest. You came in flesh like ours that we would know this and we know a friend who can sympathize 20:15 with us even in those moments when we fall and and don't obey. So we like we sang Lord break us, melt us, help us to obey your word and conform us into your image. We pray in Jesus name. Amen. Sing from your heart. He will help you 20:38 to obey. >> Help me thy word to oy me into thy name 20:57 I pray. >> Here's another old hymn. We've sung it before. It's been a little while though, but it talks about the treasure that God has in heaven. And that is Jesus Christ. He is the treasure of heaven. But he also has a treasure here on earth and 21:11 that is you, his saints here on this earth. Part of the body of Christ, the one body of Christ. Let's sing. You'll remember the tune. God in heaven treasure riches may count. 21:31 >> Have a deep eternal pleasure. Christ the son, he loveth well. God is here on earth a treasure 21:45 none by he Christ may go deep and fat of pleasure Christ revealed in >> oh you are precious in his sight you are 22:02 his treasure God in tongues of fire descending chosen vessels Thus to fail with the treasure never ending, never spent unfailing. 22:21 Still God's own hand the vessel filling from the glory far above. longing hearts forever 22:38 still with the riches of his love. >> Dust the warned and tried and temped 22:52 glorious calling say is thine. that the Lord might find the empty living rest in Christ the 23:07 vessels of the world is rising vessels weak and poor and bearing wealth God's heart is rising 23:23 glory from Christ blessed I don't know if you missed what we just sang. I want us to look at those words again. Thus, though warned at the beginning of verse three, and tried and tempted, dear saint, a glorious calling is thine. This treasure is hidden in an 23:42 earthn vessel. Let the Lord find you empty. Let him empty you of everything that is yours and that you're holding on to. Something of self, some idea, some ambition, some goal, some desire. Let him empty you off it and you'll find 23:56 that he will fill you and you will be like the branch in Christ the vine and a a vessel that's despised in the world a vessel that a vessel that's weak and poor and base but bearing wealth is prizing prizing that means receiving 24:14 getting as the prize glory from Christ's blessed face that is our prize Christ's blessed face let's sing that verse again The Lord and tried and temped. Glorious 24:30 crawling saint is thine. Let the Lord but find the empty living wretching Christ of mine. castles of the world despising 24:49 castles and poor and bearing wealth. God's heart is rising glory from Christ. >> Before we sing this next verse, I want 25:07 us to meditate on the words before we sing it. If that's really the desire of your heart, the prize that is Christ's face, then you'll say, "Oh, that I might be emptier, lowlier, mean." That means down, low, thought of as nothing, unnoticed, 25:25 and unknown. And to God a vessel holier, filled with Christ and Christ alone, not of earth, nothing of earth to cloud the glory. Don't let anything of this earth cloud the glory that he wants to give you. The glory of Christ's face. Nothing of self 25:43 to dim the light of Christ. Has the light of Christ which is shining bright been dimmed in your life, brother, sister, child, because of a love for something on this earth? Remove it. Ask the Holy Spirit to remove it. Set it 25:56 aside forever. Telling forth his wondrous story empty to be filled with him. Let's sing that last verse. Oh to be but empty or lier 26:12 noticed and unknown and to God of yes holier filled with Christ and Christ alone. God of earth to cloud the glory. God of 26:32 cell to lie to tear, >> telling forth his wondous story empty to be filled with. >> What a wonderful life truly this is. And 26:53 that you might have faith. Faith for this life. Faith that will withstand whatever you're facing. This is the victory that overcomes the world, our faith. Are you looking to be an overcomer this week, brother, sister, child? Ask God that the word of Christ 27:09 come to you this morning and receive faith. Oh, for a faith that will not shrink, though press by. Sing of it that will not 27:27 >> that will not tremble on the brink of any earthly. Oh your heart. He will give you this faith that will not 27:45 hurt nor complain beneath the chasting ground. But in the hour of grave for pain will 28:04 lean upon it. A faith that shines more bright and clear. Let's raise 28:23 without that when in danger no fear in dark. Yes. No doubt at all. No doubt that hears unmoved 28:45 the world's dread from nor the storm won't smile that sees our trousers. hearts be 29:12 a faith that keeps the barrel away till life's last hour is till the end. And with the pure 29:31 and every looms of the Let's sing that verse again. A faith that keeps the narrow way. A faith that keeps the narrow 29:48 way till life's last hour is gone. And with a pure and heavenly way 30:04 loops of a dying bed. Lord, give me such a faithlessness and then whatever 30:23 may come. I'll taste here the hall of eternal home. >> What a wonderful promise. Heaven here on 30:46 earth. Make it so, Lord, we ask. Amen.
