because the Bible says as many as I love rebuke if I don't hear a rebuke from the Lord then that's an indication that I'm 46:04 probably out of the list of God so we love to hear words of rebuke at the same time we should love to hear words of comfort and encouragement 46:22 also so let's listen to God's word this morning with openness of heart and mind as the Lord speaks to us through his servant I call upon brother Zach to share the word thank 47:08 you praise the lord it's so good to see all of you and as Charles just said this is probably the last time that we meet in this year because we're not going to have another service before the 47:25 1st of Jan so the first thing that we need to do when we come to the end of the year is to look back and then look forward and when we look back there 47:43 are the first thing that we need to think of when we go back look back is not the places we have failed we come to that later but to try and think 47:58 of what all God has done for us in this year see it's God who has ordained that the Earth spins on its own axis in 24 hours and a few 48:16 minutes that's not our plan it was God's plan so morning and evening you read right in Genesis chapter 1 it was God's plan so the period of one day is something God has designed that's why when we wake up in the 48:34 morning you've heard me quote Isaiah 50:4 if you don't know it you must remember it sometime Isaiah 50:4 that it is God who wakes me up if you're a child of God it's God who wakes me up in the 48:52 morning I like to think of that we see I woke up but to say God woke me up and when he W wakes me up that verse says he wakes up my year in my heart to listen it's not just that My Eyes Are Open that's good sometimes in the middle 49:11 of the night I wake up I try to hear God speaking something to my heart now let me recommend that to you throughout this year that you get into the habit of you know there's a there's a saying in 49:31 English that you you SE an action you keep on sewing an action it becomes a habit if you do it every time it's like brushing your teeth started with you forget when you were a kid but you keep on doing it now you don't have to be 49:48 reminded it's the same thing everything you SE an action it'll become a habit and you s a habit it'll become your character so if you keep doing this this year in the coming year every day and you wake up in the morning to say God woke me up and 50:07 according to Isaiah 50:4 he's woken up my heart to hear what he has to say every day God has something to say to us please remember that throughout this new 50:23 year we have 36 6 days this year going to 365 days next year but every day see even that the earth going around the Sun in 365 and the quarter days also planned by God so the one year is not something man 50:41 has decided God has decided that we go through a whole year 365 and a quarter days and it's a good time to evaluate our life in the past year it's good put every day to evaluate how it was in the day before you go to 51:01 bed to repent of anything that you did during the day to forgive everyone who hurt you during the day and to ask God to forgive you where you didn't trust him during the day when some attack came or some Panic came and 51:21 uh every year to evaluate yourself at the end of the year Lord have I made a progress just like with your children did they get promoted to the next class or are they still sitting in the same class failing in some subject and if it is 51:40 failing in the same subject that they've been failing year after year you send your child for special tution so you need to evaluate yourself at the end of the year to see is there some particular area where you're feeling again and again and 52:00 again maybe in your speech very often the way you speak to your wife or husband or the way you correcting the children is correct is right but the way you correct your children that could be different ways we can do it so there are many areas where we 52:18 could evaluate ourselves and search our hearts is one of the great prayers the Old Testament search me oh God and no my heart the last verse was Psalm 139 if you don't know that let's turn to that 52:35 verse it's a good verse to think of at the end of every day and the end of every year Psalm 139 verse 23 and 24 search me oh God why not I search myself why not I myself look into my 52:54 heart yeah that's good you know says judge yourself evaluate yourself but you cannot see yourself as clearly as God sees it's like you look in a mirror for example and you see certain amount your face 53:14 dirt but if you go in front of an x-ray that goes deeper sees inside so the same way there's a difference between my searching my life and we can evaluate and say certain things I did wrong the way I spoke 53:33 certain ways to your husband or your wife was wrong good but that's only like a mirror ask God to give you an ex where it goes deeper and it's not just the words that you 53:51 spoke but the thoughts that you thought the attit attitudes you had towards other members in your own home or to other people and more serious of all the motive with which you did or said certain 54:09 things you know the clever you are the more you can be very subtle in saying hurting things that sound very nice clever people can say very hurting things in a very nice 54:27 way there God says he's not going to be fooled by that he sees the motive you have often heard me say there are five areas we sin in our actions in our words in our thoughts in our attitudes to people and fifthly in the 54:46 motive with which we do even a good thing the motive can be bad for the very best thing you do think of a thing like preaching you can get up and preach or get up been sing and the back of my mind is people are admiring me boy I like all 55:05 these hundreds of people admiring the way I sing or the way I preach it's sin you can stand up here and sin when you sing can sit here and sin when you preach and nobody knows it except you yourself and God and the devil so to evaluate ourselves in God's 55:24 light not just the mirror that shows the outside but the X-ray that shows the inside is a wonderful way to end the year and say Lord I want to I want to pass in these subjects I've been failing in like you tell your child hey you're 55:37 failing in geography or you're failing in science you better improve on that do some extra exercise there and what is the area you find yourself failing in in the last one year evaluate yourself and say Lord I don't want to sit in the same 55:52 class year after year after year failing failing failing in the same subject isn't that what you would tell your children and that's what the holy spirit is telling you lovingly why do you tell your children to study hard in some 56:06 subject they're failing because you want them to pass it's you're not hating them look at all those children out in the slums the parents don't care whether they pass or fail in any subject they don't even go to school many of them 56:20 you're not a parent like that you want your children to do well well I want to tell you God is a parent like that he wants you to do well and that's why he asks you which sub subject are you failing in again and again and again 56:34 just like you would ask your child are you failing in mathematics again and again and again let's get some extra work done on that so you ask yourself which is the area where you're always failing and if you're in doubt ask your 56:50 wife ask your husband ask a close friend of yours who will tell you the truth most people outside our home are careful they don't want to offend us they won't tell us the truth the people who will tell you the truth are your closest relatives and 57:09 secondly your enemies your enemies will tell you a lot of truths about yourself but enemies sometimes mix up their own wrong attitudes also so you can't believe everything an enemy says they only say things to condemn you but the 57:21 people in your home your wife and your husband they don't hate you they will tell you darling the way you speak or the way you do certain things the way you rebuke the children that's not the way we should do it listen to 57:36 it there may be right or wrong but no harm in evaluating you know people say if a doctor says um you have a 1% possibility of cancer do you want me to give you a free 57:51 examination or an MRI or what whatever other way they search for cancer or do you want to ignore it and say it's only 1% it's free free will you take that test everyone here will take that test even though the doctor said there's only 58:09 1% chance so think back over your life in the past year and say just 1% you slipped up in some area but ask check whether it is a habit or just a one-time failure if it's a onetime failure it's okay it's 58:28 over gone but if it's a habit even if it's a very small thing it's good to say Lord I want a complete examination it's always God's examinations are always free and they're very thorough and the wonderful thing about God the holy spirit is tell you 58:43 the truth he tells you the truth because he loves you he wants you to be free from that sickness now those who don't see the seriousness of cancer will never uh take a doctor's word seriously you go to some Village uneducated old woman in some 58:59 Village and the doctor says you got cancer she sleeps peacefully cancer what's that like a little cough or something yeah it'll go but you tell an educated person in a city that you got cancer the person won't sleep that night 59:14 that's the difference how does that uneducated old woman sleep peacefully even though her cancer is worse than yours ignorance ignorance that is exactly how like that uneducated old woman in the village sleeps peacefully it's possible please listen 59:30 to me carefully it's possible that some of you sleep peacefully many times in the last year slept peacefully many times the last year even though you did something seriously wrong even though there was some serious sin in your 59:45 words during the day or your thought life or your attitudes and actions but you slept peacefully you are exactly like that uneducated woman in that Village cancer oh it's okay 1:00:04 asleep dear brother sister get a spiritual education and see that bad thoughts are sin a bad attitude towards anybody to your mother-in-law it's a sin I don't care how evil your 1:00:22 mother-in-law is you have a bad attitude you are just as evil as her why you criticizing her you are just as evil when you have such an attitude towards her she may not even be converted God will be merciful to her but you claim to 1:00:36 be converted you claim to come to CFC wow let's take that seriously that a wrong attitude towards another human being is wrong is not proper in me and the more you hear I've often said to people CFC do you realize that every 1:00:55 time you come here and you come in here and here and here and you then you become a committed member of this church and your name is on the list your responsibility has increased [Music] tremendously I compare it to a company 1:01:09 sending two people to their headquarters in Delhi with a lot of money which has to be taken in cash over there to the company to be given there and one man has given 1,000 rupees you got to go and give this in the head office in the company in Delhi and 1:01:26 another person is given 100,000 rupees go and give this in the main office in Delhi who's going to be more careful one who's got 100,000 rupees even you got 1,000 rupees you don't want to lose it 1,000 rupees is not a small 1:01:42 amount but the more you receive the more your responsibility some of those people who sit in the dead churches are getting 1,000 rupes or probably 10 rupees worth of God's knowledge here you sit you're getting a 100,000 1:01:58 rupees or a million rupees perhaps of the knowledge of God whose responsibil is greater when these two people go at the other end do you think the manager there is going to ask them for the same amount no you had 100,000 rupees answer for 1:02:15 that this guy only had 100 rupees okay he doesn't have to answer for much that is why I've said If a person who's not serious about obeying God I myself would blessed you know there are people from many other countries who have written to me say I'm so blessed by listening to 1:03:08 the brothers who speak in CFC Bangalore who are those brothers who speak here these four Elders who sit here they are the ones they're listening to in other countries they write to me I'm absolutely thrilled years ago they used to tell me 1:03:25 that they'll were blessed struggle is not with flesh and blood Ephesians 6:12 because we have to concentrate all our energy verse 12 to fight against evil rulers and powers in The Heavenly places the world forces of Darkness 1:20:03 spiritual forces of wickedness they never did that in the Old Testament nobody not even Elijah or Moses fought against these Heavenly Powers satanic Powers they were fighting the ammonites and moabites and amorites and so many ites there were he they 1:20:20 fought against them and they Lord help me to overcome this enemy and that enemy and the am enemy the Assyrians and the Babylonians they were fighting always with human beings that is old Covenant don't get back to the old Covenant today 1:20:33 our fight is against evil forces in the heavenlies do you know that there are demons in the heavenlies God dwells in the third heaven what we see around us what called we call the universe is the first Heaven between this first Heaven and the Third 1:20:46 Heaven There is a second heaven that's what the demons are the demons were cast out from God's presence in the third heaven to the second heaven they're there they're not in hell no demon is in Hell they'll be they'll be in the lake 1:20:56 of FR finally but right now they are there that's why they're called evil forces in the heavenlies and that's why they attack us that's why so difficult to break through to pray to God because there's this second heaven with all 1:21:09 these demonic forces that's why we got to persist in prayer that's why not easy to pray it's easy to do something on this Earth but not easy to get through there why is God allowed it to be there so that it become strong when you go to 1:21:21 a uh a gym a gymnasium where they do exercise every instrument there is something that will test your muscle hands legs everything is tough God has made it tough so that we become strong I mean if they in the gym if they 1:21:38 kept little things that any child can lift up you we won't get any muscle will you if you get the little books there you pick up and that's exercise you're not going to get any muscle with that there's tough things they there in the gym that will 1:21:48 strengthen your muscle God's made your prayer life tough you become strong and if you don't pray that type of prayer you'll never become strong you won't be able to help your children you won't be able to help your family so 1:22:03 fight the battle but if you want to fight this battle against these evil forces are hindering you you have to make one decision I will not fight with human beings I will never fight with my wife I'll will never fight with my husband I 1:22:17 will not fight with my neighbor I will not fight with anybody I will fight only with Satan and many times the Lord has told me when people have tried to irritate me and try to get me into a fight avoid it keep your strength to 1:22:33 fight against demons and I've done that and what is the result let me give you my testimony I have never seen till today a single demon-possessed person where the demon did not go out when commanded in the name of Jesus 1:22:52 Christ to get out and I've never had to speak to a demon-possessed person twice every demon that has been cast out in my Ministry in my life with one command in the name of Jesus Christ get 1:23:11 out they don't even take 5 Seconds to go and the Lord said you get into battle with human beings you'll never be able to do that you'll be arguing with human and getting the victory with them trying to prove that you're right and they're 1:23:28 wrong forget it people have come to my house to argue with me about different things I say no even about the Bible I say listen if you want to know the reason why we teach something I'm willing to explain it to you but if your whole aim is to argue 1:23:45 and prove that I'm wrong brother please believe what you like I don't believe in argument I want to live in love I'm willing to explain anything I'm willing to sit 2 hours and explain it to you but I will not struggle with flesh and blood 1:23:59 I want to recommend that to you you'll have power over Satan coming into your home attacking your children even if apart from demon possession even attacking your home in so many years the devil's attacking all of our homes did 1:24:12 you know that sure if you're a whole the more wholehearted you are the more he will send senior Devils to attack you the devil attack every Christian home everybody who comes to CFC seeking to be live a Godly person the devil will 1:24:30 attack you that is God's 1:24:45 overcome stop fighting with human beings our struggle is not never against flesh and blood you'll be tremendously tempted to win an argument brother don't win an argument with human beings and make the devil overcome 1:25:03 you if you speak words of rebuke speak it to the devil and not to human beings see Revelation in chapter 12 Revelation CH 12 our calling is to be a testimony for 1:25:29 Christ there are two things the devil does and we must have no part in either of those two things Revelation 12 the devil has been given two titles here number one verse 9 middle of verse 9 Revelation 12:9 he is the deceiver of 1:25:48 the whole world nobody is escapes deception he deceives his own children and he deceives God's children see the world is divided into God's children and God's children he accuses to whom does he accuse he accuses them before God do you know that every time you have a dirty you do something wrong I mean the devil justes cannot see your 1:27:02 thoughts so he cannot accuse you but if he sees you staring at some filthy picture he'll know what you're thinking and he'll accuse you to God but otherwise if you're just lying down there he doesn't know what's going on in 1:27:12 your thoughts but anything that you do wrong when you for example at home you have a little fight with your wife with words the devil is there God you see this these people are supposed to be believing not just believers they say C 1:27:25 ofc Believers God did you see that you see the way he's speaking to his wife God you see the way the wife is replying to him are these your children accusing accusing accusing and it's a silly misunderstanding which I caused in that 1:27:41 home just to kick up this fight they don't realize that I caused that little misunderstanding I did something there to bring that little trouble there and they didn't realize it was me they thought he the wife thought it was the 1:27:52 husband who did it the husband thinks is the wife who did it it was the devil who did it you recognize that the devil says yeah these people go to CFC they still haven't recognized that I am the one who causes all this problem in their 1:28:05 home know it from today he accuses them before God 24 hours a day did you read that he's a full-time worker have you had a full-time workers the Devil is a full-time worker day and night and his job is 1:28:25 accuse accuse accuse and when he finds some human being also accusing someone the devil says sure I'll help you I'll give you more material and when he finds a child of God accusing he says sure I'll tell you 1:28:44 some more I'll tell you some more about that person and if he finds a CFC person accusing he say wow that's great I got this one also and he'll give you more and more information in your head to accuse accuse and clever clever arguments to 1:29:00 accuse and you think it is your own smartness you think it is your own smartness where did you get all those brilliant ideas to accuse that person with to win that argument you didn't realize that was Satan the cleverest of created beings 1:29:18 gave you those thoughts to destroy your relationship with that brother with that sister with your husband with your wife open your eyes and see it's written clearly in the Bible he's the accuser of the Brethren and it says here he's been 1:29:33 thrown down from heaven he's not yet thrown down one day he's going to be thrown down how shall we overcome him that's also written here in the next verse read the next verse those who want to overcome the spirit of accusation by the blood of the Lamb of 1:29:50 God you come to Jesus and say Lord I'm sorry sorry for all the times I've held hands with Satan and accused others every time you accuse others the devil accuse day and night and the way to overcome is Lord first of all cleanse me Lord from the spirit of accusation I believe all of us have fallen to it sometime or the other ask the Lord today to cleanse you 1:30:52 forgive you put his blood that precious blood he shed on the cross to cleanse you from this accusing Spirit don't say but he did this or but she did this or said this forget it Jesus mouth was shut as far as 1:31:13 accusation goes when the worst crime that ever could anybody could do they crucified the Son of God on the cross the first words that came out of his mouth was father forgive them don't talk about following Jesus if 1:31:32 you cannot say that you say people treated you badly have they crucified you yet have they nailed you to a cross yet no Jesus has set an example father forgive them learn that 1:31:49 language father forgive them and law father here I'm shedding my blood that blood to forgive them my blood was a symbol of Life the Bible says in Leviticus 17 the life of the flesh is in the blood Leviticus 17 I think it's verse 11 1:32:09 so when Jesus poured out his blood he was pouring out his life so he was saying I'm giving my life to get your sins forgiven I say Lord give me that spirit that when people accuse me I want 1:32:26 to cover them with the blood of Jesus the blood of Jesus I want to overcome Satan by the blood of the lamb and I never want to have that spirit in my heart because Jesus shed his blood to deliver me from this satanic Spirit of 1:32:42 accusing and blaming I don't want to do it Temptation will come die die that's why Jesus said take up your cross sometimes people ask me what does it mean to take up the cross I say the best way I have tried to understand it 1:32:58 for the last more than 50 years since God began to open my eyes to it is think of a dead man how will a dead man react how will a dead man speak that is the way of that means take up the cross you tell that devil that dead man there you're a evil 1:33:17 person you're a good for nothing person I've never seen anybody so bad as you if he died with a smile on his lips she still have the smile on his lips it doesn't change that is the meaning of taking up the cross that's how the Lord explained it 1:33:32 to me to take up the cross means to act like a dead man whatever you do you say hurting words to him no reaction whatever you do he will not react you cannot hurt a dead 1:33:51 man if somebody can hurt you i' say you you haven't died you haven't died with Christ Paul said I'm crucified with Christ I no longer live but supposing you praise him oh brother you're such a godly man you are a great man you are such a holy man no change of expression then you're really 1:34:27 dead and somebody Praises you to the skies and you don't get puffed up that is the meaning of taking up the cross recognizing that I I the great big capital I is crucified with Christ that's how I 1:34:45 overcome the by the blood of the Lamb means by the spirit with which Jesus shed his blood which is that way of the Cross that's the only way I can overcome Satan do you know that Jesus could not overcome Satan by casting out demons no know you and the guy was casting out demons in Jesus 1:35:15 name such power in the name of Jesus that someone who doesn't even know the Lord uses that name and the de demons are scared so don't think that's a great great thing don't think something cosing out cosing out demons is the greatest 1:35:26 thing in the Christian Life it's not the greatest thing in the Christian life is to overcome sin in your flesh they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb taking up the cross and dying and secondly by the word of their testimony to 1:35:45 Satan giving testimony in the church is one thing but here is talking about overcome Satan by the word of their testimony to him Satan you were defeated on the cross how many of you have told the devil that you know the devil doesn't like to 1:36:01 hear it you were defeated on the cross whenever I tell someone to accept Christ as their savior the next thing I tell them tell the devil Satan you are defeated on the cross you have no right over me I always tell people to say that 1:36:17 some years ago somebody brought one young lady to our house one sister brought and my wife and I were sitting there and uh she wanted to accept Christ that other sister said she brought her there and I said to this young 1:36:32 lady ask Jesus to come into your heart and I said now tell the devil you were defeated on the cross and you know what she said she turned it to me and changed her face and said I was not defeated on the cross oh so she had a 1:36:50 demon she heard what I said the demon heard what I said so when a demon speaks to me I speak to the demon I stopped speaking to the woman I said you demon get out of her right now in the name of Jesus Christ left now I told her now tell the 1:37:08 devil you were defeated on the cross immediately she said Satan you were defeated on the cross and her face was lit up I saw that difference in 5 seconds I saw that day one thing which I never forget 1:37:24 the devil does not like to be reminded that he was defeated on the cross how many of you have told the devil to his face you were defeated on the cross by my savior if you have never said it say it get into the habit of saying 1:37:40 it it'll make you bold Satan you were defeated by my savior on calvary's Hill you got no right to touch me you got no right to touch my children you got no right to come into my home you were defeated on the cross the word of Our Testimony about the 1:37:57 blood of the Lamb read that verse properly but the blood of the lamb and the word of that testimony about the blood of the Lamb have you given that testimony to Satan you were defeated by my savior on the cross when he died on the cross your 1:38:13 power was taken away if Satan is like a snake as far as I am concerned he's a paralyzed snake he's not been destroyed yet one day the Lord will destroy him in the Lake of Fire but now he cannot touch 1:38:31 me looks frightening a paralyzed snake looks pretty frightening it's alive but it's paralyzed you see the devil like that I want to tell you all in Jesus name if you have surrendered your life to Christ and made him Lord of your life that's 1:38:49 condition and don't assume that you've done it if you've surrendered the best of your knowledge given everything everything in your life to Christ the devil cannot have power over you and it says here about the word of the cross the blood of the Lamb the word 1:39:05 of their testimony and I want to paraphrase that they were willing to die to themselves that's the last part of that verse 11 they did not love their life when faced with death to self you know when when that happens 1:39:24 when somebody speaks some rude lie about you to your face and you feel like replying you love your life you will reply but you do not love your life you're willing to die verse 11 when faced with death to 1:39:47 self they did not love their life they allowed it to be slain and they overc Satan verse 11 that is how you overcome Satan Jesus overcame Satan not by casting out demons but dying on the cross Satan Lo lost his power that's the way he's shown for us I 1:40:05 want to say to you my brothers and sisters let this coming year be year of victory over Satan because we are heading towards the end of the age let this coming year be a year where you overcome Satan all the time and the ways 1:40:17 described here don't accuse others don't hold hands with the devil leave it leave the devil to do do that he's got plenty of people joining him accusing others you don't join that crowd you say Lord I'm going to keep quiet when put Satan himself down this is what we want to do in the coming year to be Overcomers let me read Revelation and chapter Revelation chapter 21 1:41:56 verse seven beautiful word you know what the overcome comes very often in the Book of Revelation Chapter 2 and chapter 3 he who overcomes he overcomes he overcomes seven times wonderful blessings to those who overcome so all 1:42:08 I've been telling you today is how to overcome overcome your own sinful lusts and overcome the devil and finally it says here in verse 7 he who overcomes will inherit all things and I will be my his God and he'll be my son now today most people 1:42:25 you ask them how shall I be a Son of God you say just believe in Jesus yeah that's true but believe is a means very different believe means I commit myself to Jesus it's like a wife like a woman committing herself to her 1:42:42 husband at the wedding time here's the wedding Altar and the man says will you give this will you give yourself completely to this man you forsake your father and mother and going to go be with this man for the rest of your life 1:42:57 he says yes that's a marriage that is the type of commitment when it says believe in me it means believe in me like this like that woman gives herself to that man Jesus says give yourself to me like do you believe in me like 1:43:12 this you will inherit all things and you will be my son you won't be a baby you'll be a grown-up son he who overcomes will inherit everything I want to be in that crowd don't you want to be in that crowd I pray that CFC will be a 1:43:29 church full of Overcomers will'll fight the battle from today onwards never to accuse anybody never to seek anything for themselves that Jesus Christ may be glorified we need to have a heavenly 1:43:48 vision about everything let's pray that God will give us that look down from heaven at things on earth have the Heavenly Viewpoint to everything let us now bow our heads in prayer think for a everybody who has hurt me right now is there can you think of somebody right now in your mind whom you've got a grudge against 1:45:28 somebody you're thinking again and again about the way that person treated you or your children or somebody in your family and cheated you in some way maybe robbed you of money or whatever it is I have one word to give you in Jesus name 1:45:43 forgive because Jesus has forgiven you much more than that that's why I say it Jesus says forgive that person as I have forgiven you done it all those people you said Lord I forgive this person that person the other person I've forgiven now you can 1:46:01 pray Lord please help me to be an overcomer the coming year to overcome My Flesh and to overcome Satan to be willing to take up the cross and follow you the same message we have preached in CFC for 50 years we preach it again 1:46:16 today Heavenly Father we pray you'll encourage everybody here we're going to face a life of victory in the coming coming days through death to Victory even though the cross is a very gloomy thing yet out of it came a resurrection so out of the death we face 1:46:34 in ourselves as we accept your the cross in our life
