[singing] And as we worship, build [singing] your throne. Come Lord Jesus [music] and take your [singing] place. [music] as we remain standing. Shall we bow our 23:16 heads in prayer? Let's quieten our spirits in the presence of 23:35 the Lord and think of all the goodness that we have received from him in 2025. One year is gone and another has dawned. 23:58 We have entered into a new year. Some of us may be feeling that it hasn't gone so well with us, with me. 24:14 I let down the Lord. Is there any hope for me in 2026? The Lord says, "Do not call to mind things of the 24:35 past." Or ponder former things. Behold, I will do something new. Now it will spring forth. 24:52 Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. The people whom I formed for myself will 25:15 declare my praise. The Lord says further, "You who have been born by me from birth and have been carried from the womb, even to your old age, 25:35 I shall be the same. And even to your graying ears, I shall bear you. I have done it and I shall carry you 25:50 and I shall bear you and I shall deliver you says the Lord. Let's think upon these promises that God has given to us. He who has promised is faithful 26:12 and he will carry out what he has promised. Let's come to him with thankful heart for all that he has done for us in the past year. He has taken care of us. He has provided 26:30 for us. He has sustained us. He has preserved us. kept us from harm, danger, accidents. He has been good to us despite our 26:48 unfaithfulness and wavering. Our heavenly father, we bless your holy name this morning. Thank you that you are worthy of praise, 27:07 worthy of all honor, >> worthy of all glory. >> Lord, we want to praise you. We want to enthrone you upon the praises of your people. Dear brothers and sisters, take this opportunity to join in praising the 27:24 Lord, thanking him and blessing him for all his faithfulness and goodness and mercy, loving kindness. Thank you, Father, that you never left us. You said, "I'll never leave you nor forsake you. Thank you, Lord Jesus, that we can 27:41 rest assured that you are with us even when we don't feel your presence. Lord Jesus, we bless your holy name. Thank you, bless you, worship you, dear Lord. take your rightful place in our midst. And we pray that you'll be 27:59 exalted and glorified even this morning. And we pray, Father, that you will feed us with heavenly manner. Word that comes from your mouth. Word that encourages us, strengthens us, 28:19 and builds us up. We pray that you will bless the word. Anoint our brother who ministers your word. We pray that you will give us words of life that we may taste of it 28:37 and be blessed and go from here blessed. Lord Jesus, thank you. Thank you for this time. Bless you and worship you in Jesus name. Amen. Amen. Please take your seats. 28:55 We will look at our memory verses. Last week we had a command from 1 Corinthians 16:14. 1 Corinthians 16:14. Let all that you be let all that you do 29:14 be done in love. That was a command. And this week we have a promise from Deuteronomy chapter 30 11. This commandment is 29:37 not too difficult for you nor is it out of reach. Let's say that again. Deuteronomy chapter 30 11. This commandment 29:56 is not too difficult for you nor is it out of reach. Yeah. Dear brothers and sisters, this morning we have come with expectancy 30:13 to listen to what God has to speak to us. Words of encouragement, words of rebuke and correction and comfort. We need that every day and more so 30:29 in the first Sunday of the new year. And we have requested our dear brother Zach to share encouraging word this morning a new year message 30:46 and uh we are so glad that he agreed to be with us this morning and we welcome you brother Zach. Let's give him a good hand and welcome him. over to you. 31:09 Sorry for the technical glitch. Until it gets rectified, we will just look into God's word briefly. Would you turn with me to the book of Isaiah chapter 43? 31:27 Isaiah chapter 43. The Lord says here, but now thus says the Lord your creator and he who formed you. 31:46 Do not fear for I have redeemed you. I have called you by name. You are mine. So it's very important to know that the Lord 32:03 calls us by name, not generally. He calls you and me by name. It also says in the Bible that God knows the name of every star in the sky. God has named them. We don't know. We 32:22 know just a few of them. But God knows each and every one of them. That millions or billions they say stars are there in space. But the Lord says I have called you by 32:39 name. You think you are of no consequence. God does not care for you among the 8.3 billion people on planet Earth. Who am 32:56 I? I'm just one of them. We may think like that. Some of us may think like that. I am a nobody. I am nothing. But God didn't create nobodyies. I hope you know that. 33:13 When God created man, he created man in his own image, not in the image of a chimpanzee or gorilla which are akin to humans. 33:28 But God created us in his own image. In his image, he created us male and female. And he says, "I know you. I called you by name. You are mine. And when God has placed us on this 33:48 earth, he knows that we go through many difficult circumstances and situations. It says when you pass through the waters, I will be with you. Sometimes God takes us through deep 34:06 waters as if we are going to drown in it. But the Lord says when you're going through that, I'm with you. And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. 34:26 You'll not be drowned. I'll be with you to help you to pull you up out of that clay miry clay or whatever you are sinking into that sinful habit of yours 34:44 which you've been fighting for to get victory over so many years. that again and again you find being battered and hammered and the devil says no you cannot get victory 35:02 over this you have done too many evil things there's no hope for you but the Lord never gives up on anybody 35:20 even on Judah's the very last day he called him friend. If only Judas had gone to the cross, history would have been different. God is a God of longsuffering. 35:39 He is gracious. He's merciful. He is kind. And even when we didn't deserve his love, his goodness, and his mercy, the Bible says, even when we were at 35:58 sinners, God demonstrated his love towards us in that he sent Jesus Christ to die for us in our place so that we could be redeemed and become his children. And he says when you walk through the 36:15 fire you will not be scorched. No we go through water. We go through deep crisis in our life. We go through fiery trials in our life. We may have gone through in 2025. 36:34 Some of us may have had a very bad year. But the Lord has not given up on you. Remember that the Lord never gives up on anybody. The Lord loved us when we didn't deserve 36:54 that. That's why we have hope. Don't you think that God is like a policeman always trying to catch you by your throat every time you slip up? 37:09 We being evil fathers don't do that with our children. How much more will your heavenly father love you and 37:26 take care of you? He says in verse four, you are precious in my sight, my child. You are honored and I love you. See, despite our condition, 37:44 the Lord says you are precious in my sight. That's why the Bible says God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that anyone who believes in him 38:02 in come to him in repentance and faith shall not perish but have everlasting life. So because we are precious, God the Father sent Jesus to die for us on the cross. 38:21 And he says, "Since you're honored and I love you, I will give other men in place and other people in exchange for your life. Do not fear for I am with you." God keeps on saying especially if you 38:41 read Isaiah the book of Isaiah you see number of times God telling his people don't fear don't be afraid because we have a tendency all of us human beings we are very prone to fear 38:59 we read in the newspaper some things and we get disturbed We watch on TV things that are happening which Jesus predicted 2,000 years ago. 39:17 Those things are taking place right before our eyes and we tend to be filled with fear and anxiety and worries and cares of this world. But the Lord keeps on saying, "Do not fear, do not be 39:35 afraid, do not be anxious, for I am with you." And we would all like to feel the physical presence of God. If only God was standing next to me and I could hold his hand, then I will not fear. But the 39:52 Lord says, "Trust me, I'm there with you. You may not see me, but I'm there with you. Behold, I am with you always, even till the end of the ages. Jesus said the almost the last word just before he ascended to heaven. 40:11 And he says in verse seven, "Everyone who is called by my name whom I have created for my glory, remember you and I are created for God's glory. Not for ours, 40:29 not for our glory, but for God's glory." And he says, "I have formed you even I have made you." So do not call to mind former things 40:47 or ponder things of the past. However bad it has gone with you in the past. Forget about that. The B the Lord says, "Behold, I will do something new and now it will spring forth." We will continue to hear 41:06 brothers. Is it ready? Okay. Yeah. I want to ask you all a question. All of you sitting here. Do you know that there's a chapter in the Bible on love? You know which that chapter is? It's one 41:26 Corinthians chapter 13. Many of you know that there's a chapter. The full chapter is about love and it says love is the greatest and u if you don't have that love you're just a noisy gong and in that chapter there are many 41:44 qualities of love mentioned and many of you read the chapter can you tell me what is the first quality there you know what it is I hope you know it 1 Corinthians 13 the first quality of love mentioned 42:03 in that chapter. Okay, I'll read it to you. Please turn in your Bibles. It's one Corinthians chapter 13 and verse 4. Love is patient. Have you got patience? And that is tested in situations like 42:26 this. Whether you get worked up and upset, irritated with somebody, blame somebody or blame the devil. I don't even blame the devil. I say the problem is as long as we are on earth, everything is 42:44 imperfect. So sometimes connections are not perfect. Uh I have learned I I didn't learn patience overnight. I went through many situations where I was impatient. But gradually I worked out my salvation and I believe I've now come to the place 43:02 where I've learned to be patient no matter what happens because I believe that God is in control of everything. That's one of the most important things you must remember throughout this year. I don't know what all situations you 43:17 will face or I will face in this coming year but if you can remember one thing that your heavenly father is in control of everything small things big things whether it's some big calamity that hits 43:34 your house or your family and it's a test of whether we are growing spiritually or not. Love is patient. And it also says in James chapter 1, you can turn with me 43:51 to James chapter 1 and verse 4. in anyway the King James version it says let patience have its perfect result 44:09 so that you will be perfect and complete lacking in nothing. So I learned from that that God allows so many circumstances small and big even just like this interruption that we've had for the last 45 minutes to teach us 44:27 to be patient. The world is not going to collapse if something doesn't happen when we expect it. But if we learn in all types of in your office you'll find some situation where you can get irritated and upset with somebody who doesn't do the work 44:45 immediately or as soon as you expect it. And the same thing can happen in the home between husband and wife. And if you look back all of you married people you look back over your past life and see how many times you got sort of 45:02 impatient and upset with your marriage partner. impatient and upset with the children. Let's pray that this year will be different that right from the very first beginning and right from this meeting onwards and when you go home then you say Lord 45:19 please help me to learn this one truth that you are in control of everything. You know Jesus taught us to pray our father who art in heaven. Please remember those those four words five words. Our father who art in 45:38 heaven. Five or six words. There are two facts there. One is that God is our father. And the second is that he's ruling this universe from heaven. If you don't begin there, it's as if the Lord is saying don't pray because it's a 45:56 waste of time praying. If you don't believe number one that you're talking to your father who loves you immensely and if you don't believe that he is in heaven controlling this whole universe. If you can't believe these two things, 46:11 it's pointless praying. That's why Jesus said when you pray, even if you don't repeat those words, please remember these two amazing truths. You're talking to your heavenly father who loves you immensely more than anybody, more than 46:25 your parents and more than anybody else in the world. And secondly, you're talking to your father who is in heaven who not only controls this earth but controls the whole universe. Now both of these things if you believe 46:41 then only begin to pray. So often we pray without believing these two things that we have a loving father who is almighty. So at least this this year as we enter into the year please begin with this 46:58 faith that I'm whenever I pray I'm talking to my own father in heaven my own daddy who is almighty and some of you may have not had good fathers so you don't understand the love of a father but your heavenly father loves you immensely. Jesus, the God says 47:18 in Isaiah 49:15, "Can a mother forget her sucking child? Even if she may forget, but I will not forget you." It's very important. Jesus also when he came to earth, he said, "If one of your children asks you for some food, will 47:38 you say no? How much more your heavenly father will give good things to those who ask him?" So Jesus compared the love of a earthly father with our heavenly father's love. Now that may be a very simple truth but I 47:56 have found even after I'm a believe I've been a believer now 66 years but I still want to find my security in the fact that I am a father who will not refuse anything that is good for me because so often the devil keeps telling you God's 48:11 not going to give that to you. You don't deserve it. Well, for that matter, none of us deserve anything. But God's already given us the greatest gift of forgiveness of sins. He's given us salvation, made us his children, and why 48:24 won't he give us everything else? So that's very very important to keep that in mind when we begin our prayer. I want you to turn now to Hebrews in chapter 3. Turn in your Bibles please to 48:43 Hebrews chapter 3. We are told here about the Israelites who came out of Egypt but who did not enter into the promised land. In Hebrews chapter 3 it says in verse 15, Hebrews 3:15, "Today if you hear his 49:03 voice, don't harden your heart. Remember those who in the wilderness provoked him." verse 16 those who came out of Egypt and only two people entered into the land that is Joshua and Caleb. Then it says in chapter 4:1, "Let us fear now 49:21 while a promise enter remains of us entering into God's rest, some of you should come short of it." When the children of Israel were taken out of Egypt, it is a picture of our salvation. They put their faith in the blood of a lamb which they put 49:41 outside the door which is symbolic for us of the blood of Christ. And then they went through the water in the Red Sea which is symbolic of baptism. And then when they came out the other side a pillar of cloud came down upon 49:57 them which is a picture of the Holy Spirit. But with all this what all did they have? The blood symbolic of the blood of Christ going through the Red Sea symbolic of baptism. And thirdly the whole cloud from above symbol symb symbolizing the 50:12 Holy Spirit. exactly what we have when we are born again. In spite of that, we know the story that 600,000 men did not enter the land. So that is a picture of how it is with so many Christians today. They've accepted Christ. They've baptized in 50:30 water. They are born again. But they don't seem to come into a life of victory. One part of that victory is patience, particularly in our homes. So it says here there is a promise that God will help you to enter that land that 50:47 life of rest and that's what it says here in chapter 4:1 let us fear lest when a promise is given to us that we don't enter into it and chapter 4 11 let us be diligent to enter that rest so that no one will fail 51:05 I spoke to you about patience that is a life of rest where whatever happens around me, we must believe that God is in control. It's I believe you're going to have face that even more and more as we approach the end of time. The 51:20 world is going to get worse and worse and worse and worse. Jesus said it'll be like the days of Noah and people are going to hate one another and particularly it's not going to be easy to be a Christian in the last days. 51:34 It's very very important dear brothers in every situation to look up to your heavenly father and say my father who is in heaven runs this universe and even in the little things that happen in your home say lord please give me the power of 51:52 your holy spirit to be patient here things that happen in your office things that happen in your place of work when things don't go exactly as you expect them to Say, "Lord, please help me to trust in you. You're in control of 52:09 everything." And here is a a promise that has helped me through all my 66 years of being a Christian. And it'll help you too. Turn with me to 1 Corinthians in chapter 10 and verse 13. 1 Corinthians chapter 10 and verse 13. 52:29 Here it says in the middle of that verse, God is faithful. It's a promise that we have quoted many, many times in this church. And he will never allow you to be tempted beyond your ability. 52:46 Now we've heard it but I want everybody here some of you have heard it well maybe you have entered into it but there I believe there are many sitting here who have not entered into the reality of believing that throughout this year 2026 53:02 I will never can you say this that throughout this year I will never face a situation which is too much for me. Can you believe that? Can you start this year with this confession? 53:21 I have a father who loves me, who rules this universe from heaven, and he's my own father. And he's promised me here in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that I will never face a situation 53:37 at any time in this year in my life regarding my health or regarding my family or my children or my finances or anything that will be too much for me. 53:56 But God will give me grace to be a victor to go through that situation triumphantly. That is the confession of faith. You know there's a law in the New Testament where Jesus said according to your faith 54:15 be it unto you. Let me give you an example of this. There there's a there's a story in the Old Testament, sorry, in the Gospels where two blind men came to Jesus and uh 54:35 he he asked them a question. He said, "I can heal you. Do you believe that I can do this for you?" before he healed them. And I have often thought of this situation that supposeding the one blind man goes into the room first and uh and 54:54 he says, "Lord, I I'm totally blind. I've been blind all my life, but I believe you can open at least one eye." And the Lord says to him, "According to your faith, be it unto you." One eye is opened and he comes out. And he's 55:08 extremely thankful because he was blind. Imagine how thankful a blind man is because he's got one eye open. Now the second blind man goes into the room and Jesus says, "Do you believe I can open both your eyes?" He says, "Yes, I believe." And he 55:22 comes out with both eyes open. Why did one person get more than the other? Because of this principle, according to your faith, it will be unto you. And this is what makes the difference between one believer and another. Why do 55:39 you find some believers accomplishing a lot more for the Lord than you do? Why do you find some believers having overcoming many problems in their home unlike you? The principle is this. Do you believe that your father in heaven 55:56 can solve every problem? Do you believe as in that promise that we read, he will not allow you to be tempted beyond your ability. I have claimed that promise numerous times and it's helped me again and again then again in all types of 56:13 situations in financial difficulties in difficulties with people and all these things Lord I don't know what people are planning to hurt me or harm me but I I believe nothing will come to me that is too much for me so I I want to repeat 56:30 that because for many of you people you don't realize what all is coming for you to you this year, but you must believe that it God will help you to overcome. Turn with me to Romans chapter 8. These promises of God are very, very 56:45 important. And if you write them down or listen to this message later on, you can claim these promises. Romans chapter 8, he talks about even in his day, there was even the danger of being put to death. 57:01 Romans chapter 8 and verse 35. Please get familiar with these promises. Romans 8:35. Who will separate us from the love of Christ? 57:21 Do you sometimes doubt that something will separate you from the love of Christ? Never doubt it, my brother, sister. Throughout this year, please remember what I'm saying now. Right from the beginning till the end of the year, 57:36 Christ is going to love you and he's you he will not allow you to be separated. You don't separate yourself by unbelief. Faith is the hand by which we hold on to the Lord. If you lose faith, your grip on the Lord is gone. 57:56 So in every situation, [clears throat] look up and say, "My father, you love me and you're in heaven and you run this universe and this problem I'm facing now, you can take care of it. Who can separate me from the love of Christ?" 58:11 Romans 8:35. Will tribulation tribulation means other people coming and troubling you? Maybe in your office, maybe your relatives that cannot separate you from the love of Christ. What about distress? Problems that you face in life cannot 58:28 separate you from the love. Persecution. Maybe persecution in your office. Maybe your boss is a troublesome person or or your neighbor or your some family member who's troubling you. It cannot separate you from the love of 58:42 Christ. Famine, nakedness, that means not enough food to eat, Christ will not forsake you. Not enough clothes to wear, Christ will not forsake you. in danger or if even if people try to kill you, Christ will not forsake you. It's a 58:56 tremendous verse. Romans 8:35, keep it in mind and say to yourself, who can separate me from the love of Christ? All these problems I'm facing will not separate me. But verse 37, Romans 8:37 is a wonderful verse for you to remember 59:13 by heart. All of you must remember this verse by heart. In everything, in all these things, we conquer overwhelmingly through him who loved us. We are more than conquerors because of God's love 59:31 for us. I hope you will keep this in mind throughout this year, my brothers and sisters. We don't want anyone in this church to face a situation in this in this year where you get gloomy and put your hand on head on your hands and 59:44 say, "Oh, how terrible. What's going to happen next?" I'll tell you what's going to happen next. God is going to come and help you. So don't ever sit down and say what's going to happen next. I'll tell you right now, God will come and help you. 59:55 He loves you. So who can separate me from the love of Christ? In all these things, we will conquer. And not only conquer, but overwhelmingly conquer. Now Paul wrote this after many, many years of experience. And he says, I'm convinced that nothing 1:00:10 can separate me from the love of Christ. That's very very important for every one of you to be not just to believe it but to be gripped with it. Nothing will separate me from the love of Christ. I don't mind repeating it any number of 1:00:28 times. God will not allow me to be tempted beyond my ability. Every situation I'm going to face this year is going to be within my ability. He will not allow you to run short of money. That's a tremendous promise. 1:00:47 See, I've trusted the Lord for my financial needs for the last 60 years. 6 years. I've never received a salary or looked to any man for money. I trusted God to provide my needs. All of you have got 1:01:06 jobs and secure income. I've never had one like that the last 60 years. But God is taking care of me because I trusted him. Because I believed one promise, a well-known promise in Matthew 6:33. If you seek the kingdom of God first, 1:01:24 all the other things will be added to you. I can tell you from my own experience, my wife can I can tell you you if you honor God, it's amazing how he will honor you. And you'll have an experience to tell your children one day 1:01:41 of how God did miracles for you. The miracles are not just what you read in the Bible. You'll experience them in your life. I could tell you numerous things that we've experienced as miracles in our life. And you must have 1:01:53 that experience too, brother, brothers and sisters. And I'll give you one more bit of advice. And that is when you experience some miracle in your life, make a note of it somewhere in some notebook or if you have a computer, open a folder and 1:02:11 write it down there just in a few sentences. The details of the miracle God did for you in some situation. Maybe a healing, maybe a financial provision, maybe some situation in your marriage, maybe some problem with your relatives. 1:02:27 Just write down in three or four sentences with the date and the details what God did for you. And then again something happens another day. And if you keep on doing that, I told people this. One day when your children are grown up, 1:02:45 give them a copy of that book or that folder, print it out from the computer. All the things that God did for you in the last 20, 30 years and give that to your children as a printed book. That'll be a second Bible for them of living 1:03:02 experiences that God did in your life. I've encouraged people everywhere to do this. God is a miracle working God. I've some of the things you know many years ago people asked me to write down a little bit of the experiences I had and 1:03:16 that's what I wrote in my book called the day of small beginnings. You can go to the CFC website and I would encourage you to read it. The day of small beginnings is a is full of many incidents in my life which where I found 1:03:30 God's provision but I had to write bring it out from my memory. It was very difficult. That's when I urge people to write down as soon as you experience something. Even in a few words, write it down somewhere and accumulate it over the years so that you 1:03:47 have a record of the miracles God did for you that you can share with your children. One day when they leave leave your home to get married, you can give them that book of 40 50 pages that they can read and see how this is how God 1:04:01 worked for my gr my parents and I believe this God will help me. It's a tremendous gift you can give to your children so that they realize that it's not only in the days of the Bible that God did miracles but in your lifetime he 1:04:13 did it too. So let's have some experience like that that we can pass on to others. God is sovereign. He's in charge of this universe and we look up to him and say our father who art in heaven. Okay, I want to say one more 1:04:29 thing which I never forget to say and that is one of the things the lord taught us in that prayer is [snorts] that he will forgive us. Listen to this. He will forgive you in exactly the same way that you forgive somebody else. 1:04:48 Okay, that's a law. All of us have experienced people harming us. Even a 10-year-old child will say, "Somebody has harmed me." As we grow up in this world, many many people harm us. What should you do? Do what Jesus did on 1:05:09 the cross. As soon as he was crucified and the cross was put into that hole in the ground, the very first words he said was, "Father, forgive them." You say the same thing. Nobody's going to hurt you more than they hurt Jesus on 1:05:27 the cross. Father, forgive them. Please develop the habit throughout this year of forgiving people as soon as they hurt you. Whether with words or with actions, if people hurt you, forgive them 1:05:46 immediately and speak it out. Father, I forgiven them and help me not to remember it anymore. And when I see him next time, let me not remember. Ah, this is the guy who hurt me. I'm not saying we should not be careful with crooks and people who try 1:06:04 to cheat us. Be careful. And if somebody's cheated you, be careful next time. But don't hold a grudge against people because that'll destroy you. I hope all of you sitting here today right now, if you have a grudge in your 1:06:18 heart against anybody right now, I would urge you to get rid of it before you leave this hall. Before you leave this hall, you say, "Lord, I forgive that person. I forgive my mother-in-law. I forgive my brother-in-law. I forgive the 1:06:31 fellow who cheated me. I forgive the boss in the office who harassed me. Maybe somebody in CFC who you felt hurt you. Forgive him. Forgive her. It's very, very important. My life has been supremely happy because I have forgiven everybody. 1:06:49 Everybody who's ever hurt me in my life, I've stood before God and said, "Lord, I have forgiven them." And that's made my life not only happy, it's made me healthy. By God's grace, he's kept me healthy. My wife and I have been married 57 years. 1:07:08 We never been to a hospital even one single day with a sickness. Whenever we get sick, we forgive everybody and pray and trust in the Lord and he takes care of us. God is a good God. He can heal your sicknesses. But if you don't forgive others, 1:07:26 you got a grudge against somebody, you will be sick. I'll tell you, you'll be sick. Many sicknesses are because they got a grudge against someone. They haven't forgiven somebody. I'm not saying that is the root cause of all 1:07:38 sicknesses. There are many sicknesses which may never be cured. I am not talking about that. But there are many sicknesses which can be cured if you forgive people and you don't have a grudge against anybody. We read that Paul had a sickness that 1:07:57 the Lord never healed him from. So sometimes that happens but that is with a purpose. When the Lord Paul he had some type of sickness and he said Lord please remove this. And the Lord said no I have to keep that with you to keep you 1:08:10 humble. So sometimes God gives a sickness to his servants to keep them humble. That's another thing. But generally speaking, it's God's will to heal us. But forgiveness is a very very important part of that. And the second 1:08:25 thing I want to say is if you have hurt somebody, you must ask his forgiveness. Otherwise, God will not listen to your prayer. Now these are things I've said numerous times, but there are probably people sitting here who need to hear it again 1:08:39 strongly. Two things. First of all, anyone in the world who has hurt you, forgive them right now before you leave this hall today. Secondly, if you have hurt somebody, please decide right now that you're 1:08:59 going to ask that person's forgiveness by phoning him up or writing a letter or speaking directly where you and ask forgiveness. And many of you husbands need to ask forgiveness from your wives. Many of you wives need to ask 1:09:14 forgiveness from your husbands. Perhaps you have to ask forgiveness from your children. I have asked forgiveness from my children. Sometimes we have hurt our children unnecessarily. Sometimes we have punished them wrongly. 1:09:29 Then we must ask forgiveness from them. And children, you must also learn, all of you children, learn to ask forgiveness from your daddy and mommy when you have done anything wrong. You know, it's a tremendous power that comes 1:09:45 into our life when we forgive others. So what have I been basically telling you in this session? Trust God, your loving father who loves you. Our father, our father who art in heaven, who runs this universe. 1:10:02 And whatever circumstance he ever allows you to face in this coming year, he it will never be too much for you. There will be a solution there. You pray to God and say, "Lord, you will not allow me to be tested beyond my ability. You 1:10:19 find some solution for the situation I'm facing." Now, maybe some of you are facing a problem right now. Say, "Lord, I want you to solve that problem. I want to trust you today." And the Lord will say to you, according to your faith, 1:10:33 be it unto you. Sometimes we wish God had said, "According to my power, it'll be done." No, it will be done according to his power. But it's according to your faith. If you when God's got a huge amount of blessing to give you, you go 1:10:50 to him with a little teaspoon. That's all you'll get. You'll get one teaspoon. Somebody else goes with a huge bucket, he gets much more. It depends on faith is like that according to your faith be it unto you. So I want to encourage you 1:11:04 my brothers with these simple principles that I've shared with you today. Please remember you can face the every day in this new year with tremendous boldness saying my God will help me to go through and when something does not work out as 1:11:20 soon as I expect it learn to be patient. It's a great lesson the Lord has taught us by the delay that we had for 45 minutes in this morning in this meeting. Patience, patience and never to get worked up and irritated. My God is in 1:11:37 control. God is in control. That's what I felt. Okay. If the meeting is delayed or if I'm not supposed to speak, somebody else will speak. That's perfectly okay. It won't disturb me one bit because my God is in control. My 1:11:49 father is in control of everything. And if he opens up the way like he did for me to speak, okay, then I will speak. But I will never let anything that happens, whether it's a small thing like this of the audio in the meeting or some 1:12:04 big thing outside in the world, I will never let it upset my heart. Never, never, never. In my younger days, it did disturb me because nobody taught me what I'm teaching you today. Now you folks don't have the same excuse 1:12:18 that I had that I never had a spiritual father on earth to teach me some of these things I'm teaching you today. So I used to get disturbed. I used to get upset. I used to get discouraged and I didn't know the answer. But you have 1:12:30 someone to teach you all these things. Today I've taught you. And my dear brothers and sisters, you don't have to live the rest of this year discouraged or blooming. You I believe God can help you to be a rejoicing Christian anxious 1:12:44 for nothing. Let us pray. Please think of something particular that God spoke to you today and say, "Lord, please help me to hold on to that and not lose it. And Lord, help me to forgive anyone whom I have to forgive 1:13:02 and help me to ask forgiveness from anyone whom I have to ask forgiveness from. So, heavenly father, we pray for all the dear brothers and sisters who are seated seated here. I pray that every one of them will receive some 1:13:19 clear word from you that will remain in their hearts forever. That will change the their attitude throughout this year to be one of overcoming in every situation and that they can also teach that to their children to be overcomers from a young 1:13:36 age. Thank you for today Lord despite all the interruptions we believe you have spoken to our hearts and you will lead us from one degree of glory to another. We thank you in Jesus name. Amen. >> Dear brothers and sisters, it's such a 1:13:54 joy for us to see you all. Um our patience was tested very severely when there was delay in that and but God is in control as we just 1:14:11 heard and throughout this year I know God may allow testings to come to test our patience but we can remember this word we were already warned about it and we are going to have faith faith faith in the Lord who is in control of every 1:14:31 situation. First of all, I want to thank all of you dear brothers and sisters for your goodness and love shown to my our son Sto Santosh and his family when they were there. [clears throat] So much love. 1:14:50 I have no words to thank you. And when I saw the pictures of their happy time, how I wish that I could be there. They sent lot of pictures and I was so happy that they are there. But in my heart I was feeling like I wish I too could have 1:15:10 been there. But God willing my turn may come. But thank you all for that. For your goodness to him, to them all. Even the children enjoyed it so much and Megan was saying that she might even 1:15:28 shift and move to India. So I said if you move I'll also come. [clears throat] But it's not so easy. It's not so easy now as we grow older. But we have faith. We have faith in our Lord who's holding us. You know, as we grow older, some old 1:15:48 older people need a stick to lean on. And God has been that stick for us, that rod, that staff to for we can hold on to him. And he's leading us each day. I praise and 1:16:05 thank God for that. And also I want to thank all the dear sisters and brothers who greeted us for the new year and for my birthday. You know I wrote down all the names. I read through all that. Then I wrote down 1:16:22 all the names and I said I'm going to pray for these sisters and all the others whom haven't who whose names are not there but they in my heart. I'm going to pray for them regularly. So that's a work God has given me to do 1:16:39 even though I'm not there. So praise and thank God for everything. And I was um the Lord gave me a uh I want to thank God for what we heard to have faith in the Lord to have faith 1:16:59 that he will take care of us and do mighty things for us. Then in that connection, the Lord gave me also a promise. In Zechariah 4:6, I was reading a few days ago. Not by might, not by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord. Even though 1:17:18 you're weak and you're few. And I thought, Lord, I'm weak, but you will succeed. I have faith for that because the Lord said, it's not by might. It is not by any strength which I have which is so weak. Even my faith is 1:17:35 so weak. But it's by my spirit the Lord says and I hold on to that promise. And I thank God in this year God has given us so many in the past year so many blessings. I think of many of the answers to prayer 1:17:53 that lot of brothers and sisters received. one dear sister you know Konama who had almost a fatal accident head injury and it's like a miracle the Lord is healing 1:18:08 her and restoring her very few people have complete recovery after serious accident like that one brother in my family one of my brothers is totally healed another answer to 1:18:26 prayer in the last here was that one person who was very upset with me and for many years um was not on talking terms with me but we were praying and the Lord so 1:18:43 wonderfully made it possible to it was no fault of mine but so wonderfully the Lord opened away then restored peace and God answered the prayer like that I can think of so many answers to prayer that the Lord has given in the past year 1:19:00 and I have faith that the Lord will continue to do mighty things for us. Dear brothers and sisters, we are so fortunate to sit in a church like CFC where we hear sound 1:19:17 teaching and words of faith. We don't look at each other's weaknesses but we think that together we are an army and we are going to stand for the Lord and the Lord is leading us and taking care of us. In the home situations 1:19:36 with children and with loved ones sometimes there might be a break of fellowship like a small wall which is building. God has shown us don't let those walls be built at all. Instead of wall let us 1:19:56 make a bridge that connects us. And we hear that in the church and sometimes the walls become really so like I was telling about this person with whom this uh problem I had. [clears throat] 1:20:13 It was such a hard wall, but God allowed some cracks to come into that wall like the walls of Jericho and it came crashing down. I rejoice and thank God for all the encouragement that Lord is giving us when we to show us that he's 1:20:32 in control and he'll help us and the government is on his shoulders and he'll take us safely through. We can trust in him. Thank God for the word that we just heard to have patient patience and let patience have a perfect work. Be perfect 1:20:50 in patience and to have faith not to lose faith at all in this year. I want to hold those two things faith and patience in this year. God bless you dear brothers and sisters. I feel so happy to see you all so clear. Wish I 1:21:10 could be there too, but God bless you. Amen.
