0:12 I'd like to share the burden that is in my heart especially for the younger [Music] couples because of that uh elder elderly couples don't no need to think that it's not for The primary burden is for the younger 0:35 couples. Um, Genesis chapter 22. Genesis chapter 22. Abraham. The Lord gave a promise to Abraham in 0:53 Mount Mariah. Verse 17. Later part 17 latter part. Your seed shall possess the gate of their enemies. A good 1:20 promise in the Bible. Both in the old covenant and in the new covenant. There are many promises and we need to believe those promises. Especially especially there are many promises in the book of Isaiah. What we see may be completely different 1:53 from what is promised on the Bible about our children. But we do not we do not believe in what we see. We believe in what we do not see. Okay? Promise. God gave a promise to Abraham. your seed or your children shall possess 2:13 the gate of their enemies. In other words, Satan or enemies will not be able to overprovile your children. Your children will not be 2:33 overpowered by world. [Music] They will inherit what God has kept for them. Yes. When did God give this promise? Genesis chapter 12. Not in Genesis 2:51 12. At the mount Moriah. If this promise will have to be fulfilled in you and in me, I want to point out two things. First thing verse 3:11 [Music] 16, because you have done this thing and have not withheld your son, your only son. What does it mean? We should not 3:31 give importance to our children more than God first in our life. The first place is for God. If you love your children more than 3:48 God, this promise is not for you. That's the first thing. Second thing, Genesis 18. Genesis chapter 18 verse 19. Verse 19. What we need to do is verse verse 4:10 19. Verse 19. Please read. For I have chosen him so that he may command his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing righteousness and justice. So that the Lord may bring upon Abraham what he has spoken about 4:30 him. Good verse that we read in verse 19. Abraham. The Lord knew about Abraham. Abraham. God knew this about Abraham that whatever I tell Abraham, he will do it. When I tell him to go to Kenan 4:49 leaving his hometown, he will go. business. When I tell him, hey, don't get involved into the property dispute, leave it to Lord, he will do it. When I tell him that you do not need 5:12 the wealth from Sodom or the goods from Sodom, he will do it. The Lord knew this very well about 5:31 Abraham that he is not a covetous man but he will love me. That is why God could call Abraham his friend. Paradise for paradise. God kept the name as Abraham's 5:49 lap. Paradise. What is the name for paradise? Abraham's lap. Such a wealthy man. He had lot of gold and silver. But he did not possess anything. His eyes were looking 6:08 upon a different place. Lord knew this about him. If I tell him to do something, he will do. If I tell him to send Ismael home, he will do that. If I tell him offer Isaac on the 6:31 altar, he will do that. What a man. The Lord knew this about him. Not just that. Verse 19. Verse 19. He will command that he may command his children. What he will command? Do righteousness and 6:54 justice. Keep the way of the Lord. We read that the way of the Lord doing righteousness and justice. We don't know where he had done that. 7:12 Where he has done that, we do not know. He would have demoed it from his own life. Numbers Deuteronomy. There were no commandments 7:38 to point out to the children. Go to Leviticus or Numbers. All of it was from his own life. He showed or demoed God's righteousness through his life. Two things like I pointed out two things. 7:59 First thing we should not love our children above God. For that I'll mention an example. I mean I mean I mean it I meant it. When I say many I mean it many. There are people who love their 8:20 children above God. That is why this promise is not fulfilled in their lives. 1819. What is chapter 18 verse 18? The second part to it is Genesis 18:e 19. How did Abraham teach the way of the 8:47 Lord doing righteousness and justice through his life? I'd like to show you a few things about that new testament. Let us meditate this old covenant man in the light of the new covenant. Genesis chapter 23. Genesis 9:07 chapter 23. Mother Isaac Sarah died. Isaac's mother Sarah died. Chapter 23. Chapter 23. 127. Sarah was 127 years old. Okay. 9:33 Abraham Abraham may be 10 years elder to Sarah. Abraham. Abraham was a 130 year old man. Sarah died. Now they have to bury 9:50 Sarah. In the place they were living. Verse three. Abraham rose from before his uh debt and spoke to the sons of Heath, saying, "I'm a stranger, a sojourer among you. Give 10:08 me a burial site among you that may that I may bury my dead out of my sight." Verse five, verse six, "Hear us, my lord. You're a mighty prince among us." And they said, they did not refuse. They 10:25 gave the land. [Music] If Sarah was 127 years old, then Isaac was 37 years 10:41 old. Isaac was 37 years old. He wasn't married still. Now they have to bury this body. old man one 37 years old Abraham and 37y old 11:07 his son Isaac they were talking about where to bury okay verse seven verse seven see Abraham so Abraham rose and bowed to the people of the land the sons of See, can you see Abraham's life 11:30 there? 137 years old, old old man. 137 years old. What did he see? He rose and bowed to the 11:52 people again in verse 12. Abraham bowed before the people of the land. The Bible is saying afterwards in Leviticus we read about that you respect the elderly people they 12:13 bow down before the gayheaded man all of that we read that in Leviticus that law is not at written now his dad Abraham demote something to Isaac Yes beloved, this is how we have to 12:32 teach our children. They should see our life respect. Our children should see that we respect elders. Not just elders, we respect everyone. Our children should 12:51 see that especially sisters, wives, we read that sisters or wives give the respect that is due to your husband in Tamil it's beautifully 13:14 written as reverence reverence have reverence towards your husband In the next chapter we read that children should respect their parents. How can we expect this from our children? 13:38 Authorities without demoing this to our children about respecting elderly people, respecting others, respecting everyone. How can we expect that from our children? See a man is demonstrating from his life. Respect all men fear fear 13:57 God. Later we read that respect all men and fear God. Isaac Isaac saw that a 130y old man old man getting up rose up and bowed 14:14 down. Yes beloved in this area we need to be an example to our children speaking without respect the place of 14:33 work in the place where we live our neighborhood maybe in things in church our parents should be an example people to our children. Okay. We read the second thing there also. What happened 14:52 there? No. No. And the the people said take this land for free. They said take it for free of cost. You don't need to pay to bury 15:11 Sarah here. What did Abraham [Music] say? I will give the price of the field and accept it. Verse 13. Verse 13. Later part. I will give the price of the 15:31 field. Accept it from me. That I may bury my debt there. Okay. Okay. Then Ephra answered Abraham, saying, "My Lord, listen to me. A piece 15:50 of land worth 400 sickles of silver." See another thing that his son could see from his dad's life. What would Isaac tell about his 16:14 father? My daddy will not receive anything for free. He will never take advantage of others. Today on the other hand we have children who see their parents like this. So 16:45 the their response would be that if they get something for free, my dad, my parents would be the first one to be receiving. That's not the picture that 17:02 should that we should give our children. Recently I heard of something. A child was [Music] born. Now the the daughter has the wife 17:25 has gone into her parents' house and they're coming back after the delivery. First delivery after the first delivery she's coming back. mother. The boy's mother gold chain. The 17:49 boy's mother's expectation is that when they come back, they should the girl side should give two um poundh gold chain and send it with the baby. shame. It's a shameful 18:13 thing. It's a shame to Christianity and faith. They were demanding that they should send gold with the baby. Then the promise of that they will overcome the enemies is not for us. 18:33 There is covetousness there. The baby is coming with uh you know with the mother she she she should come back with something expectations. Some have this expectation 18:52 and there's a constant demand free. No no no no no. See the man here if when they said take it for free he said no I won't bury if it's free take the 400 shekels of silver then 19:13 I will bury even in this aspect we should be a good example to our children my parents are not behind money. They are not the one who will 19:33 take advantage. My parents will not be expecting would they get it from here, would would they get it from there, mother-in-law, brother-in-law, they will not expect whether things will come from mother-in-law's house, brother-in-law's 19:51 house. uh spirits, demanding spirit, demonic spirits. Such demanding spirit are demonic spirits. Okay. One more thing, one more thing. All of that he demonstrated from his own life. Our children when they grow up, 20:11 they will have to overcome the enemy's gates or they will have to bring Satan under their feet. They will have to overcome the world. Yes. In the principles, we need to give this principle to our children and 20:29 daddy. My parents are not behind money. Okay. One more thing. Another thing. Genesis chapter 20. Genesis chapter 20. See how he demonstrated from his life. Genesis chapter 20. Genesis chapter 20. Verse 11 verse 20:48 11. Abraham Abraham knew very well what sort of place that they were living. Verse 11 verse 11. Abraham knew that there's no fear of God in that place. What this verse was relating to 21:11 sexual immorality? This verse related to sexual immorality. So when there is so much of sexual immorality. Abraham knew that very well. He has gone through that not once but twice. They have 21:36 hijacked Sarah in that situation. How should he bring up his child full of evil sexual immoralities in midst of the place where we live that there is so much of sexual 21:55 immorality? How should I protect my child? The father have taught his child so much. The result of his teaching Genesis chapter 24, we can read the result of his teaching in Genesis chapter 24. Genesis chapter 24. Genesis chapter 24 22:15 verse 63 verse 63. Isaac Isaac went out to meditate in the field toward evening. What a good child he 22:31 was. In the evening time hours, what was he doing in the morning? He would have helped his father's business. Abraham was very strict. Um his company there were about 318 22:51 people. Abraham and Co. Abraham and Co. Abraham and Co. That's that's the name of his company. Abraham and Co. Allen export. They export wool. How many people are working on export? 318 23:19 go when the company was, you know, working so tirelessly. I don't think Abraham's son Isaac could have sat in a corner and eating food. He would have definitely worked and helped his dad. Morning hours full busy with the dad's 23:34 business. Morning hours. He's fully busy with dad's business. What was he doing in the evening? Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. He was meditating on the field. Daddy because he has seen his dad doing that. He see how daddy is busy during 23:55 the daytime. Father Abraham Isaac had seen his father working hard during the daytime with the sheep and the employees and in the 24:15 evening how he would go to meditate about the Lord. Yes beloved, our children should see this from us and the devotion that devotion towards God. Our children should see see in us now whether we are you know we are 24:39 hunger after God's word or whether we are in prayer the children should see that from us like to show a verse from Job and come back Job chapter 15 Job If there is no fear of God, one mark, 25:04 there's one mark of, you know, when there is no fear of God. Job chapter 15. Job 15. Verse four. Verse four, please. Indeed, you do away with the 25:21 reverence and hinder meditation before [Music] God. What will hinder our meditation 25:43 towards God, our prayer towards God, dependence towards God when there is no reverence for God? Quantity quality. I'm not talking about quantity but quality. 12 26:03 hours 10 hours. You know in today's world the they have to work for 10 hours 12 hours and work hard. So I'm not talking about the quantity but the quality. 26:18 Majority majority of the maximum Christians many Christians or majority of Christians have learned to live a life without prayer. There's no prayer. They think that they can somehow 26:44 manage with the knowledge that they have because of the messages that they've heard. They've acquired knowledge but they need strength. Jesus is our example here. When we don't cry out unto the 27:04 Lord for grace and power, we will not be able to receive strength. Quantity the quantity may be less. There should be a constant cry in our innermost being fear of God. When they don't have the fear of 27:26 God, what is the mark that they don't have fear of God? Their pray prayer and meditation will all become less and less and less. Yes, Isaac saw that in his dad. The devotion, the prayer time, 27:44 quiet time. Isaac has learned the devotion to God, his prayer and meditation from his dad Abraham. What is the result? daytime would have been engaged with the father's 28:01 business in the evening went to the field to meditate in the evening contrast in contrast there's another 28:18 character in the Bible mommy mommy On the other hand, there's some some character was contrast to what Isaac 28:36 did. Dina, she would go in the evening to meet the friends to meet the friends in the world. What was his dad doing? What is Jacob doing? He was focusing on his business. Abraham. He was not like 29:02 Abraham. The result was that Dina was went around roaming the the place and she was defiled. So Abraham because he feared God, he 29:21 could teach his children, his child about meditating and praying. He did not let his son join with unbelievers. engaged with evening free [Music] 29:39 time family fellowship business during the day. Yes, work hard but evening when it's free it's about meditating on God and fellowship. Okay, one more thing another thing that Abraham taught from Genesis chapter 22. Genesis chapter 29:59 22, God of provision. He had taught his child that God is a God of provision. Yes. We should teach that to our children. In many situations, our children, God of provision, we should teach our children 30:21 that our God is a God of provision. um and Abraham taught it from his life college final campus. When I see people in the final 30:41 year, they get placed uh during the campus placemental. Good talented children get placed in good companies. There is a situation that our children 31:01 are not placed in a company during campus placement or there may be a situation where they do not get a good job or they may not be able to get into a good college for a good admission. 31:19 age 28, 29 and 30, 31 marriage or they are waiting for marriage but the age is just going on 28 9 30 in all such situations what shall we say see that Abraham taught his 31:40 child verse seven and he said behold the fire and the wood. But where is the lamp for the burnt offering? Verse eight. Abraham said, "God will provide for himself the 32:00 lamb. God will take care. God will take care. We have three more days. We have three more days." Sometimes you know one of my sons would ask to pay the semester fees. 32:18 [Laughter] How many days do you have? Three days. Three days three days. Three days. He will say that it's only three days daddy. Three days. Oh, we have three 32:36 days. Why are you worried? God will provide. Will God provide? Yes, he will. Yes. That is how we need to teach our children in practical 32:55 situations. In this situation, I had just have three more days here. They just had three days. God will take care. Don't be. We are just in the valley. We need to climb the mountain. When we go there, we will find out. Some are sitting in the valley and 33:15 looking for answers. For that, we need to climb up the mountain. That's where the answer will come. That's where God's provision will be. God has already prepared a provision and kept there but it's hidden in his time and in his place it 33:39 will be given. So we should teach our children faith. Oh all that God will take care. Yes. Has God provided? Yes indeed. after 3 days. See how Isaac's faith would have 33:59 been established when all of it was over. There was a ram which got struck. So he would have thought to 34:18 himself and said to himself, "My daddy is set right there in the valley that you would find it that God would provide." See, God has provided now. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. There was no teaching. Everything was demonstration from his life. God of 34:36 provision, from his life, he demonstrated that God is a God of provision. Not just that. One more lesson. One more lesson. Obedience. Obedience. See so much of conversation would have 34:52 happened between the father and son. [Music] Daddy. No. When he had prepared the altar, Isa could have asked, "What are you doing, Dad?" 35:11 See, three days back the Lord told me that I need to sacrifice you. Daddy, what are you saying? Oh, did really God tell you to sacrifice 35:30 me? You would have told to sacrifice a ram or a goat or a oxen. My dear son, my dear son, Lord told it was you that I need a sacrifice. You would have asked, "Is mommy aware of this?" 35:46 I didn't inform my your mom. Daddy, daddy, perhaps you're wrong. All the matter you're right, Daddy, but in this matter, I don't think you're right. You're wrong, Dad. Will anyone sacrifice a 36:04 son? Will God say like that? No. The Lord spoke to me. So, daddy, now I'm going to ask you a question. Daddy, you taught me that through me that our generation will be like the 36:23 stars in the sky. If you kill me, what will happen now? See the reasoning. See the reasoning. The conversation. I I imagine this is how the conversation went on in Mariah. I'm not just uh you know making 36:40 up a story. Hebrews 11. See Hebrews 11. See the conversation between dad and son in Hebrews 11. The Holy Spirit has written it. Hebrews chapter 11. Hebrews 11 verse 17. Verse 37:01 17. By faith Abraham when he was tested offered up Isaac and he who had received the promises was offering up his only begotten son. H 18:19 And it was he to whom it was said in Isaac your descendant shall be called. He 37:20 considered that God is able to raise people even from dead for which he has also received him back as a type. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. This was dad's son conversation out there. 37:38 Isaac Isaac would have asked him the young person, Abraham. Abraham would have told him, "No, no, God who has promised is faithful. He will definitely fulfill 37:57 that. If he is asking me to offer you, sacrifice you, he's able to raise you up from dead and he is faithful to fulfill his promise youngsters. Dad dad's faith is 38:25 okay. All the youngsters are sitting up there in the first floor today. They have so many questions or logical questions or reasoning. 2025 38:41 is what would 2025 is would have done. You do your work. What is this? for 39:05 something 2025 Isaac would have asked his dad like that no now you will make me lie down then you will kill me then I'll be dead then God will raise me then God will make me you know like um like the multitudes of stars should I believe all this 39:24 story I can't do that my son. Then Abraham has sent pleading my son please please come and lie down. Isaac just obeyed obedience. Where did he learn that obedience 39:44 from? He saw that and he learned it from his dad and mom. Especially dear sisters. Especially dear sisters. Isaac had observed how much Sarah obeyed Abraham. She did not fear any 40:07 evil. In all matters, she submitted to the husband. That same spirit is now coming to the son. There are two people. Abraham had two people. Abraham had Isma and Isaac. Spirit that Isaac had the spirit 40:31 of submission came through Sarah spirit. The isma spirit came from Hagar. rebellion and making scoffing others, 40:47 running away from home, all of that from Hagar. If Hagar had that spirit, Ismael will have the same spirit. My Lord, reverence. If Sarah had that spirit, my 41:07 lord, such a reverent spirit towards Abraham, Isaac could definitely get up and lie down. So what a great responsibility we have. What is the promise that we saw in the beginning? Your children shall possess the gate of their enemies. If that has 41:25 to be true, if Satan will have to come under our children's feet. Yes. Yes. Parents, children will have to come into a spirit of submission and obedience. 41:42 The parents should show that. Yes. The husbands should show the spirit of obedience in the place of work. In church they should demonstrate authority wherever there is authority and those who are all submitting to that 42:01 [Music] authority such ones only can exercise authority on others should do we want to exercise authority over our children. My dear son, my dear son, get up and lie down. And he should lie 42:18 down. He has to obey that authority. When can he exercise that authority? Abraham. Abraham had obeyed the higher authority over him. Sarah had submitted to the authority of the husband. Yes, obedience. 42:38 Yes, beloved, obedience is such an important matter. Obedience unto death. This is obedience unto death. But he he was he was he he was not dying. He went to the point of dying. So daddy all of 43:00 this parents demoted to Isaac. Okay. One more thing. One more thing. Sixth thing, you can meditate the Bible, you can get much more light. Genesis chapter 26. Genesis chapter 26. 43:17 Isaac quarrel. Isaac never quarreled. Abraham Genesis chapter 26. Isaac Genesis 26. People of Gar, they were jealous. And 43:44 the well that Isaac dug, they closed it up. Verse 19 was verse 19. Genesis chapter 26 verse uh 19. Genesis 26:e 19. But when Isaac's servant dug in the valley and found there was there a well of 44:03 flowing water, the headsman of Ger quarreled with the hedgeman of Isaac, saying, "The water is ours." So he named the well Isk and the G the headsmen of Ger were wise. If you have a map in your Bible and you 44:33 see where Ga is, it was just a desert to find water or a flowing well is not an easy thing. You should have money and people. If you have that, you can do that. Okay. 44:51 You rich man. Isaac rich man. Isaac was a rich man. He had money and people to work. Okay. So they dig digging a well. The headsman did not come back 45:07 then. They will come and see. Oh. Oh. How many feet have you dug the well? 100 ft. Dig it. Well, the water will come. Now how many feet? 300 ft. 45:26 Dig well, do well, the water will come. They can take advantage of him. They were, you know, watching and then encouraging him. See the moment they found that there is a flowing water, immediately they 45:49 quarreled. The water is ours. You have to vacate this place. Oh, when they began to do the work, they could have come and stopped it. When they began the work, they did not stop. See how crafty and cunning they 46:13 were that they were waiting for the water to come and chase them away. Okay. Daddy, dad spirit that he had. Don't quarrel. Leave. Daddy spirit. Genesis chapter 13. Where do we see the dad 46:29 spirit in Genesis chapter 13? He did not quarrel. Isaac was not even born back then. He would have learned that story about his dad from mother's mother. Uncle Mommy, what is the story about our 46:49 uncle Lot? Oh yes, we had a partition. Uncle Lord chose this place. Mommy, what were we left 47:06 with? Oh, this desert. It's us. Can children learn such stories from us? Or the story is the other way around that Lord took away everything from 47:26 us. Some are telling stories like that. Isaac was not even born back then. Isaac learned all that story from Sarah or dad would have told him. issue. Yeah, there was 47:45 issue. So I left it without quarreling. He chose the sodom and went there. Okay, daddy. Oh, my dad will not quarrel. That's what he learned. For property, for 48:04 business, for whom? for silver, gold, money. My dad will not fight. He will give it up. Yes, our children should have seen that 48:22 teaching. If they do not see that at home, if and they hear so much of teaching in the pullpit, nothing will work out. You should demo it to our children. Be an example. Our lives should be the first 48:41 example for them that they do not despise you. Be an example. We should be examples in all this area to [Music] them. We are not talking with the children. Our children are watching us, 48:59 observing us. Even for small petty things, my dad would argue and fight. We may be staying in a house, maybe a rented house. The electric bill may fluctuate. Some things we may have to 49:19 repair in that house. We we may have a lease or a bond or everything may be written properly. You may be lawful. You and me may be lawful. We may be standing on the right side or we may be lawful. Yes, Holy Spirit. But 49:39 the Holy Spirit will speak to us. Yes, you are right. Profitable. Seek the profitable things. Don't fight with them. Okay. Oh, this may come up to 1,000 rupees 1,500 rupees. You spend it. 49:58 Okay. 300 400 rupees extra. Don't argue with them. You do it. Don't fight with them for 300 rupees, 400 rupees for this paper money. Don't fight for property. Who taught Isaac this new 50:19 covenant truth old man all the new covenant truths. See the old covenant man demoed it to his son. What is the result? They dug the well. They had to spend so 50:39 much but they took away the complete well. Okay. Next. Next. Again they dug another well. They quarreled there as well. He left there as beloved. [Music] um the are all the lessons that Abraham 51:07 taught his child, his children that you need to walk in the way of righteousness and justice and how to follow the Lord. Okay, one more thing. One more thing, another beautiful truth. Hebrews chapter 11. Hebrews 11. Daddy Isaac could have asked his dad 51:30 like this. Dad, why are you always staying in a tent? Why can't we build a house? We are doing big business 51:47 now. We have 318 in our company. You are such a rich man, dad. Why can't we build a house? Why are we always staying in tents? Isaac may have asked him for that he taught. Hebrews chapter 52:05 11. Hebrews 11. So, see the value system that he had passed on to his son. Verse 9. Verse 9. By faith he lived as an alien in the land of promise, as 52:24 in a foreign land, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, fellow hairs of the same promise. [Music] 10 for he was looking for the city which 52:48 has foundations whose architect and builder is God. Praise the Lord. Verse 13. Verse 13. All this dead in faith without receiving the promises but having seen them having welcomed them from a distance. Oh and do do uh read it 53:06 read that verse. And having confessed that they were strangers and exiles on this on the earth all those they died in faith. Jesus taught this verse to 53:25 us. Our kingdom is not of this world. Yes. We may have things on this earth. We may possess we may have things silver, gold, vehicles, own houses. We may have silver, gold or vehicle own house. We don't need to follow Abraham 53:44 literally and stay in a tent. He had everything but he wasn't possessing them. What did he confess? He confessed that he was a stranger and exiled. He was always looking for the 54:03 [Music] city. instead and that's why God when he looked at Abraham's life though you are 54:23 rich you are always looking for the city that was high up there city which has foundation and architect is God so I'm going to name that city based according to your name Abraham's lamp that is how he died on this world 54:42 and lived on this world and the same spirit He showed it to his son. Okay. Now, Hebrews chapter 22. Now, let's turn to Hebrew, sorry, Genesis. Genesis chapter 22. 22 1819. 55:06 I'd like to show 1819 1819 Abraham. I have chosen him so that he may command his children and his household after him to keep the way of 55:24 the Lord by doing righteousness and justice. Okay. There may be so many other things that we have meditated that he would have taught his children. Okay. Number 55:41 one, he was faithful in that only teaching. Not just teaching, he demonstrated from his life. Okay. Then Genesis chapter 22 again Genesis 22. Okay. Now he was slowly turning towards his 56:00 son. God said you know God had to say beloved son which means he had to slowly lean towards Isaac and not towards 56:17 God. God said it's not good. Okay. And when God said leave it on the altar, he proved that as well. Lord, you are first place in my life. I will not give preference to my 56:37 wife or children. This property or earth, earthly things doesn't matter to me. You are primary for me. I will leave myself on the altar. Thanks Lord. Now I know that you fear me. 57:01 And God showed the provision, the sacrifice and coming from the mount verse 17. Then the Lord is promising your seed shall possess the gates of their enemies. Yes, we meditated a few things here and 57:30 there of how Abraham demonstrated this life to his son. teaching faith, teaching obedience, meditating and praying, not quarreling, respecting 57:52 others, not seeking advantage, stumbling block. Let us get light on all these things and may we never be a stumbling block to our children. May God help each one of us. 58:08 Amen. Amen. Thank you, brother Victor. Every time I hear brother Victor, um I see so much wealth in the scripture, so much depth. Uh if we have eyes to see, we can 58:27 see much. Uh the Lord has challenged us and uh spoken to our own hearts, each of our hearts. Uh like Mary preserved many things in her heart. When she saw 58:46 Jesus when he was 12 years old, he she kept all those things to her heart and meditated. We can do that. We may listen and forget. Uh let's not the birds of the air take away what God has spoken to our 59:05 heart. Um I always think about this verse Acts 1:1 where if he had asked uh uh Luke to give a title to the Gospel of Luke we call it Gospel of Luke but 59:20 uh Luke would have given this title. uh he says here the first account I composed theophilus about all that Jesus began to do and teach. So this is what we heard all that 59:38 Abraham taught his own son through his life. Now thankfully we have written in the scriptures we can read it but uh I was so challenged when I heard that see he didn't 59:57 uh he didn't kind of teach with his words like Jesus he lived that life for 30 years he didn't preach his father didn't want him to preach even though he was wellversed with the scripture at the age of 12 but 1:00:15 God wanted him to live for 30 years and then teach all that he has he had lived may the Lord help us that it's a great challenge it's not by our strength see when I hear all that oh Lord how many 1:00:33 times I have messed up in my life uh I have not been a good example to my children so brother Victor started that he was he had a burden to speak to young couple. Well, there is a great hope and there is a joy that there maybe 1:00:51 children are smaller, children are not born. But maybe there is a sense of uh despair among the older couples where children are grown up. Oh, I have not been a good example. Don't have to lose 1:01:07 hope. See, you can be God can do a repair work from the time uh we trust the Lord. Let's turn to the Lord in prayer. Let's commit ourselves our future into your hand. We 1:01:27 can't do anything about the past. But there is a great hope. Those who trust in the Lord will never be put to shame. He He He will do the great work. Let's trust him. As we bow our heads in prayer, we give thanks to the Lord for 1:01:46 the words. So much we can learn. So much we can get faith that uh we can have hope for the remaining life so that our children will grow up. We can grow up to 1:02:03 um win the enemy's land, enemy's gates. Jesus said, "I'll build my church and gates fell will not prevail." When Jesus said that, we can apply that to our own homes. Our homes are a little churches where Jesus can build our homes that 1:02:23 gates of hell will not prevail. He can do that and we can trust him to do it. Father, we thank you, Father, for your word and uh and the hope we have in Christ. And Lord, we turn to you and we trust you. Give us the faith which 1:02:41 Abraham had and which you had, Lord Jesus, in your own heart. Lord give us that faith and give us that power, strength of the Holy Spirit, a guidance of the Holy Spirit so that we will be a better witnesses in the coming days. 1:02:59 Lord, as homes, our homes will be island of peace. Devil may try to remind us about all our past failures. Lord, we nullify it and also we silence that by faith and we pray that you're going to do it do a better job in the coming 1:03:16 days. Lord, we entrust our life into your hand and trust and ask you in Jesus name.
