There is no one else like you. 22:40 [Music] Let's remain in the spirit 23:08 of praise and thanksgiving, spirit of gratefulness. Bowing our heads in prayer. He deserves all our attention. Let's keep our mind from all 23:36 distractions. Let's keep our mind and spirit in quietness before our Lord. We have come 23:57 here to his presence that we diligently seek him in our spirits and hearts and make a throne for him through our 24:15 praises. He's our redeemer. He should be the one who thrills our heart. Song which says all that thrills my soul is Jesus. Let that be true in 24:34 our hearts. Scripture says Jesus although he existed in the form of God did not regard equality with God. Philippians chapter 24:53 2 but emptied himself taking the form of a bond servant and being made in the likeness of men. We keep hearing these words. Let it not become familiar. Let's realize 25:13 the the reality of that God becoming man, humbling himself, which he didn't have to do, but he did it. He loved us, so he did it. 25:31 Being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason, God highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name which is above every 25:50 name. So that at the name of Jesus, every knee will bow and those who are in heaven, on earth, and under the earth. and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God 26:07 the Father. Let it be true in our midst. Let our tongue confess that he is the Lord Almighty. He loved us with an everlasting love. He humbled himself which he didn't have to do. He took the 26:24 pain and humility to humble himself. He is our Lord in our midst. He is the king on the throne. He has made a way for us. Let's give him thanks and praise which he deserves. Jesus, thank you. Thank you Jesus. Father, thank you for your 26:44 tremendous love. Father, thank you father for your love. Thank you Jesus. Thank you for sending Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord. You are building your church. You love us Lord. Thank you Lord. your desire for our love, Lord, from our poor heart. 27:03 Thank you. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Father. We praise you. All praise and glory and honor, worship, adoration belongs to you, oh father. Oh Lord Jesus, thank you. Thank you, Lord. Thank you. Open our eyes and ears to see the 27:21 reality of it, Lord. Praise you. Praise you. Thou art worthy, Lord. All heaven bow down before you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you very much. Dear father, thank you. Thank you for giving us breath today. Giving us another day to 27:40 live in reality of heaven. And Lord, fill our hearts with your spirit. Open our eyes and ears of our hearts so that we will live for you. Lord, thank you for another opportunity to repent and trust you and live for you. Thank you 27:59 for gathering us together. Lord, be thou be thou exalted and magnified in our midst. Lord, we want to see you glorified through the words which we hear the anointed words. Lord, we pray that you anoint your servant. Lord, you 28:14 bless your words to our heart so that your word can pierce through and open our hearts to get close to you. Lord, come to the reality of heaven and live a worthwhile and meaningful life, Lord, before you. 28:33 Have mercy on each one of us, Lord. Thank you, Father. Thank you. We commit ourselves, Lord. We want to see you glorified. We want to hear your voice. Thank you. You love us more than us. You are eager to help us, Lord. Thank you 28:48 very much. We bless you and thank you. We ask you, Father, in Jesus name. Amen. Amen. Please be seated. We look into our memory verse. Last week, we had a promise from Matthew 29:06 24. Please repeat after me. Matthew chapter 24:13. The one who endures to the end will be saved. Amazing. And uh this week we have 29:26 a command from Romans 12:9. Please repeat after me. Romans 12:9. Let love be without hypocrisy. Abore what is 29:43 evil. Cling to what is good. The Lord is willing to help us to keep his commandment. Let's repeat that. Romans 12:9. Let love be without hypocrisy. Abore what is 30:03 evil. Cling to what is good. May the Lord help us. And uh we're happy to uh hear God's word shared by brother Charles. Brother Charles, over to you. Thank you. 30:32 Would you turn your Bibles with me to the book of the letter of the Apostle Paul to the church at Corenth in chapter 6. In chapter 30:55 6, he writes to the church at Corenth and in this one particular chapter, he reminds them six times about the things that knew but 31:13 they have probably forgotten. Verse two, he says, "Don't you know that the saints will judge the world?" And verse three again, he says, 31:29 "Don't you know that we shall judge angels?" And verse 9 again, don't you know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? and verse 15 and 16 and 19. Don't you 31:49 know that your bodies are members of Christ? Or do you not know the one who joins himself to an immoral person is one body with her? And verse 19, don't you know that your body 32:08 is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you whom you have from God and that you are not your own? So in these 1920 verses, six times the apostle Paul 32:26 reminds the church at Corenth, don't you know? See, there were so many things that these Corinthians knew and had. For instance, you turn to chapter one, he says when he 32:46 begins his letter, he thanks God in verse four, always concerning you, I thank my God for the grace of God which was given you in Christ. and he appreciates them for all that God has blessed them with. 33:04 He says in everything you were enriched in him in all speech and all knowledge even as the testimony concerning Christ was confirmed in you that you are not lacking in any gift and so on and so forth. 33:23 He says he he appreciates them for all that they have received. But still he says in verse in chapter 6, don't you know about this? Don't you know about that? That one day you are going to judge the world. One day 33:41 you believers in Christ, you are going to judge even angels. And he is telling them if you are going to judge the world one day, how is it that you are taking each other to 33:59 court? Don't you have one wise person amongst you who can wisely determine your case? Instead, you go before heathen people for judgment. He is rebuking them because he's telling 34:19 them one day you fellows you are going to judge this world when Christ comes and sets up his kingdom here on this earth and you are going to judge angels. He's reminding them of those 34:34 things. And what did they have? They didn't know their inheritance. They didn't know their calling. And Paul had to severely warn them. He spent about 1 and a half years in Corenth to establish 34:54 that church and followed by frequent visits and subsequent [Music] um uh help or encouragement through the 35:08 letters to the Corinthians 1 and two. And many times he says, "I keep praying for you until the Lord establishes you." And so on and so forth. He had them in his 35:27 heart. The church of Corinth. But unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the most carnal churches that we ever read in the New Testament. They had quarrels. They had 35:47 divisions, factions, they had court cases, they had immorality and so many things. And he feels sometimes he felt like God will humble 36:04 me before you. He says, "Not because anything that Paul did, but after having preached so many sermons and encouraged them over the years, yet he didn't find any fruit in 36:24 them. And they were it says in chapter 3 chapter 3 verse one he says I could not speak to you as to spiritual men. You were not 36:43 spiritual. You were men of flesh and you were babes in Christ. He says, "And I gave you milk and not solid food, and there are still fleshly things in you, jealousy, strife, walk, you are 37:02 walking like mere men, etc." He says, and then he says in 6:15 we read, "Don't you know that your bodies are the members of 37:20 Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of sin?" When we use our bodies to do sin rather than giving our bodies to the Lord as living sacrifice, we are making 37:38 it members of sin. Who is who is the uh author of sin is Satan. We make ourselves part of him. So he says, don't you know that you are part of Christ's body? 37:57 You know it says that Christ is the we read about that in 11th chapter Christ is the head and the church is his body and we are all members of Christ's body. 38:13 So when I sin and give part of my body I making it sinful thereby bringing disgrace to the Lord. Because my body is supposed to be like 38:30 it says in verse 16, don't you know that your body I mean verse 19 is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you whom you have from God and that you are not your own. 38:48 Brothers and sisters, I am talking to those of you who have genuinely repented of your sins once upon a time and have confessed your sins to the Lord and have been born again and you are walking in the light. Not that one 39:05 day you made a decision and then you are living like you lived in the past. I'm not talking to such people. I'm talking to those who are serious Christians who have repented of their sins once and are living in continual repentance every day 39:25 and are walking in the light or are sensitive to the prompings of the Holy Spirit. Every day you're obeying the Lord and following him and are being taught the word of God to be his disciples. I am talking to such people. 39:44 Don't you know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and that the Holy Spirit whom God has given you dwells in you and that you are not your own. You have been bought with a 40:01 price. You're not your own. Remember that I am not my own. I don't I can't say I can do whatever I like because this is my body. I can speak however I want because this is my 40:18 tongue. I can look at whatever I want to look because this is my eyes. No, you are a thief. Your body is not yours. My body is not mine. My eyes are not mine. My tongue is not mine. My mind is not mine. 40:37 It's Christ's. He has bought it with a price, with his precious blood, not with silver and gold. He has made me a member of his body and I belong to Christ and he belongs to me. And because I 40:55 am Christ's body and you are, we are living in this world with our feet down here on this earth, but our mind we are exalted in 41:12 Colossians 3, set your mind upon the things that are above and not on the things of this earth like the Living Bible says you must have as little interest in the things of this world as a dead person 41:32 has. So we are in a sense dead to sin and to this world. Paul says I have died. My life is hidden with Christ in God. And the life that I live in the 41:50 flesh, I live by the faith of the son of God who loved me and gave himself up for me. Galatians 2:20. So this was how the apostle Paul lived. And he knew that he no longer belonged to himself because Jesus has 42:08 bought him with a price matchless price not with perishable things like silver and gold or precious stones or any such things. Jesus said that what will a man gain if 42:25 he gains the whole world and loses his soul. So your soul and my soul are more precious to God than this entire earth. Jesus said 42:41 that. And when my body belongs to the Lord, I become part of Christ's body. And the church is called the body of Christ. Christ is the head and we are members of one another. 43:00 And in chapter 12 verse 18 of the same book in chapter 12 verse 18 it says God has placed the members each one of them in the body of Christ just as he 43:18 desired. God has put us in his body that is in the church just as he desired. See God has put some people as eyes, some people as ears, some people as tongue, some people as hands and feet to do so 43:37 many uh things in the church and the leg should not coveret the the function of some other member in the body and say no I am not going to walk I'm going 43:55 to sit on the head and things like that and different members in our body are fighting with each other. What will happen to such a person? He will not be able to function anymore. So things will go haywire. 44:17 So each one in whatever place God has put us according to this verse he has placed the members each one of them in the body just as he desired. See Paul says 44:37 if every part of me became eyes or became hand then where will the other members be and how will I look just imagine your 44:51 all eyes from head to foot what a ghastly sight it will be or if we are full of hands all over the body. We are only hands hands hands front, back, left, right, 45:11 center. And how will it look? So God has so neatly and wisely and beautifully arranged the body covering the bones with flesh and 45:27 skin and beauty. He has made us in his image. It says God is not all eyes. God is not all hands. God has made us in his image and we belong to him. 45:46 And this verse says that God has placed us in the body and 12:27 we read in the same chapter that you are Christ's body and individually members of it and God has given in the church 46:05 different functions function of of an apostle prophet evangelist teacher teacher and healing helps tongues, interpretation of tongues, so on and so forth for 46:25 equipping of the saints, for the building up of the body of Christ. So that nobody can take the glory to himself and say I did it. It's a body ministry. The apostle preaches, establishes churches. 46:43 The prophets speak, encourage them. Evangelists bring new souls. Teachers teach them. And any needs of the church members are met by those who have the gift of healing. And 47:02 uh unknown tongues. The Lord gives tongues and tongues interpreted in order to edify and build up the church. So these are all to equip the body of Christ. 47:16 And we see um in chapter 5 of verse 30 also we read and that is in Ephesians we read the same thing that we are members of his body. So remember my dear brothers and sisters, we are part of Christ's body. 47:36 We are not independent of ourselves because we have come to Christ and we have said Lord I surrender myself to you from head to foot. I am yours. Cleanse me, wash me, fill me with the Holy Spirit. And when we do 47:53 that, we are part of Christ's body. And in Ephesians chapter 2:4, it says, Ephesians 2 verse 4, God being rich in mercy, because of 48:14 his great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, God made us alive together with Christ by grace. 48:29 You've been saved and God raised us up. I want you to look at this verse carefully. Verse six of chapter 2 of 48:43 Ephesians. God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Christ where not on the chairs 49:02 here even though we are sitting on the chairs it says he made us sit together with Christ in the heavenly places. Do you believe that your feet are here? 49:22 And where are you spiritually speaking? According to this verse, God has raised you up together with Christ and seated us with Christ in the heavenly 49:41 places because you and I are part of his body. So if Christ is in the heavenly places seated at the right hand of the father and we call ourselves body of Christ, members of 50:00 Christ's body, where are we as far as God is concerned? We are seated together with him in the heavenly places. And this truth needs to 50:18 be established in us. We need to believe that. My dear brothers and sisters, don't think that you're of this world. You are not. We'll come to that later. And go back to chapter one of the 50:36 same book, Ephesians chapter 1. Verse 20 onwards, God brought about in Christ when he raised him from the dead 50:55 and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places. Again we read here that Christ is seated in the heavenly places at the right hand of the majesty and far where far above all 51:15 rule of this world and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named not only in this age but also in the one to 51:34 come. So where has God raised Jesus up? According to this verse, it says he has raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly 51:51 places far above all rules and authorities. All the kings and queens and presidents and prime ministers of all the nations in this world far above them far above all power and dominion 52:09 and every name that is named not only in this age but also in the age to come. And what has he done? He has put all things. All things means all things. Nothing is 52:26 excluded. He has put all things in subjection under his feet. You remember this is God speaking, 52:41 God writing to us that he has put all these authorities that you see today and that you see in the future. All those powers, principalities, authorities, dominions, kingdom, 52:59 everything has been put under the feet of Jesus. He has put all things in subjection under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, which is his body, that's you and me, the fullness of him who fills all in 53:18 all. So according to this verse, my dear brothers and sisters, you and I are lifted up in the spiritual realm and are made to sit with Christ in God. Your life is hidden with Christ in God. It says in Colossians 53:36 3. So that means our feet are here on this earth. But our affections, our mind should be in heaven. We'll come to that. Go to the book of 53:54 Colossians chapter 3. Colossians chapter [Music] 3 verse one onwards. If then you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above. If there is a big if, 54:14 my brothers and sisters, if you have been raised up together with Christ by repentance and faith, keep seeking the things above where Christ is seated at the right hand of God because you are also seated there. Keep seeking the things that are 54:32 above. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on this earth. Don't be, you know, all the time like these chickens, you know, all the time they go to the dung hill and keep scratching and 54:49 pecking, eating. Don't be like that. Says, "Let your eyes be lifted up." Like when Nebuchadnezzar lifted up his eyes to the heavens, it says his sense returned and he became a normal human 55:09 being. So most of us are like Nebuchadnezzar, like animals in this earth looking at what I can get, what I can uh grab. No, all these my our minds 55:25 are occupied with these earthly things. And here it says, set your minds on the things above, not on the things of this earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ um in 55:41 God. And when Christ who is our life is revealed, then you will also be revealed with him in glory. So consider therefore the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire and greed which amounts to 56:00 idolatry. For it is on account of these things that the wroth of God will come. So my dear brothers and sisters, these verses are very important for us to keep in mind that you are no 56:17 longer of this world. You have been redeemed. Redeemed from the kingdom of darkness and placed into the kingdom of his dear son, the Lord Jesus Christ. And you have been redeemed from the clutches of Satan, from the bondage 56:35 of sin, and have been set free. Stand therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has set you free. And Paul says in Philippians 3:20, he 56:51 says, "Our citizenship is in heaven." Do we believe that we are so concerned about getting citizenship of so and so country? People are crazy about getting 57:10 green card and PR of some other country. They want to leave this place and go somewhere else. Wherever you go, my dear brother and sister, the flesh is the same. The world is the same. Temptation is 57:28 universal. Flesh is universal. And you cannot run away from these two. Wherever you go, you'll be tempted like you are temp being tempted in this country. Don't think that by going to America or some other western countries your temptation will be lesser 57:47 and you'll become holier. It's just the opposite. So be content with what God has given you. And seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these other things 58:05 that you need, not what you want. All these other things that you need, God will make sure that you get them. That is God's promise. And you look at the example how Jesus 58:23 lived when he was on this earth. He came to earth to demonstrate how man can live. Not as men of the flesh, nor as 58:43 animals, but as subjects of the kingdom of God, who have come into this world for a season, for a purpose, and after 59:00 that we are off. I hope you know that all the kings and the queens and the dictators in the past who thought that they were they knew everything and they had everything and 59:15 nobody could shake them. Where are they today? Do you see any king, any queen, any dictator who is living for more than 150 years 59:33 Every one of them are resting there. They say in peace. I don't know whether they're really in peace or they are in pieces. But they are there somewhere disappeared from the horizon. But God has placed us here with 59:53 a purpose, my dear brothers and sisters. And Jesus has come to demonstrate to us as to how we should live on this earth. He lived as a man like you and me. Took flesh and blood, was tempted in 1:00:10 all points like you and me, but at without sin. And he got the validation certificate from God the father that this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased. Even when he had not preached 1:00:30 one sermon not did one miracle. God approved of him because that is the way the way he lived. Please the Lord for 30 years on this earth. He did mundane things 1:00:48 like worldly I mean uh occupation like carpenter. He did it faithfully as unto the Lord. Everything that he did he did it as unto the Lord and the Lord was happy about it and the Lord validated 1:01:06 certified and approved of his life. And then he says, "Come and follow me." Before that he never said that to anybody. Only after he was anointed, baptized and anointed and then he ventured into the 1:01:25 ministry, public ministry, then he said, "Come and follow me to his disciples." And he's calling us to do the same today. And I want you to read this verse in 1:01:44 John's Gospel chapter 1. How did Jesus live? John's Gospel chapter 1 verse 18. It says, "No one has seen God at any 1:02:10 time, the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the father. He has explained it." You read that verse slowly then you will 1:02:29 understand. No man has seen God at any time but the only begotten God or the only begotten son who 1:02:46 is in the bosom of the father. Where was Jesus at the time when he was telling this? You know that he was on this earth but yet at it is written of him 1:03:04 that he was in the bosom of the father when he was on this earth. How do you connect that? It's not he was in the bosom of the father before he came to this 1:03:21 earth. But when he is here on this earth in the midst of the people in the world and in the midst of his disciples, he says the only begotten son 1:03:38 of God who is in the bosom of the father. How he can be on this earth here and also at the same time in the bosom of the father. The same thing you read in chapter 3. Chapter 1:03:56 3 verse 13. It doesn't come out clear in this NASB, but in the King James version it is very clear. It says, "And no one has ascended into heaven but he who descended from heaven." That is Jesus 1:04:16 who ascended to heaven and who descended from heaven. And even the son of man, it stops here in NASB, but in the King James version it says, even the son of man who 1:04:33 is in heaven. This is Jesus speaking. This is red letter edition. This is Jesus's words. Jesus is speaking here that no one has ascended into heaven but he who descended from heaven even the son of 1:04:51 man who is in heaven. But where was he when he spoke about these words? He was here on this earth very much here on this planet earth with his disciples. But he says he is the son of man who is 1:05:11 in heaven in the bosom of his father. So can you and I live like this? If it was not possible, it wouldn't have been written here. Because it is possible, we too can 1:05:30 live like Jesus lived. We read that very clearly in 1 John 3 about Jesus that we can also live and walk like him on this earth as he lived on this 1:05:48 earth. So if he was able to live on this earth with his mind set on the things above and being in the bosom of the father and living in heaven, being heavenly minded, brothers and sisters, there is no excuse as to why we should 1:06:06 not coveret and come to that kind of life. We know we have struggle here, struggles, we have problems, we have difficulties, we have sufferings. But Jesus also faced the same thing. He was not, you know, living 1:06:25 in the air kind of thing with the untouched by the feeling of our infirmities. It says very clearly in Hebrews 4:15 and 16, Jesus also was tempted like you and me in all points but at without 1:06:42 sin. So if he lived and faced all that we face and yet he lived without sin, we can live like him. If it was not possible, Jesus wouldn't have said 1:06:59 follow me. He would only have had to say admire me or look at me but he said follow me. So because it is possible for us to 1:07:17 live like that that being in the world we do what we are supposed to do then again our mind goes back to the things above things of heaven and Peter says in 1 Peter 1:07:36 2:1 Peter 2:1 Peter says makes it very clear and I want to read that from the message bible in the message paraphrase it says 1:07:53 friends this world is not your home we sing in that song Jim's song this world is not my home I'm just a passing through my treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue so here it says friends this world is 1:08:13 not your home. So don't make yourself comfortable or cozy in it. Don't make yourself comfortable in this world. You are here for a few more years and then you're off. We are 1:08:30 all here for a few more years and we are all off one day. And don't feel comfortable in this world and don't feel cozy in this world. Don't indulge your ego at the expense of your 1:08:47 soul. You see, it's because of our ego we get into problems with one another. Because I'm right, you're wrong. My way is the way and yours is not the way. And so many things like that. Because of our 1:09:06 ego, we get into problems and we lose our reward. My dear brothers and sisters, let the word of God quicken you. If you have not given your life to 1:09:25 the Lord, repent because there are not many days left for us. We are at the close of time and things are fast winding up and one of these days we will see the 1:09:44 Lord come in the clouds and only those who are ready, those who have repented of their sins and those who are walking in the light every day denying their self and taking up the cross are the ones who are going 1:10:03 to be lifted up and taken up from this world. Are you ready for this? Time is short, my dear brothers and sisters. Take your Christian life seriously. Don't go 1:10:20 on taking God's mercy for granted and his grace in vain. Because the time will come when mercy will seize, grace will also cease. 1:10:42 Esau, it says he sought for repentance with tears, but he couldn't find it. There's a time when the Lord is near. call upon him. And there can be time when he's not 1:11:01 near. Even if you call upon him like Esau called, you may not find mercy. God may be far away. He may turn a deaf ear to you 1:11:19 because at the accepted time you didn't listen and you kept on postponing it and there is an expiry on every item in this world on every human being on this 1:11:38 earth. So the earth, this world and all that it contains one day will back up and those who do the will of God shall abide forever. It says one last word in 1 1:11:58 Thessalonians 4:14. 1 Thessalonians 4:14. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, God will bring with him those who have fallen 1:12:17 asleep in Jesus. Even if we die before the Lord comes and those of us who have gone ahead of us, God is able to bring them back to life. 1:12:37 It says, "Because Jesus died and rose again by the power of God, even so God, the same God who raised Jesus up from the dead, will bring us back with him, all those who have fallen asleep." My dear 1:12:55 brothers and sisters, take God's word seriously at least from henceforth and ask the Lord to be merciful and to help you. He said, "Call upon me. I will help you 1:13:14 and you will be helped indeed." Shall we bow our heads in prayer? Our father, we thank you and praise you for your word and we pray Lord that you will put your fear into our hearts that we will not sin against 1:13:32 you. Lord Jesus, we pray that you will help us to put an end to all our casual living and taking things for granted and your mercy and grace for granted. Oh Lord, help us to live 1:13:51 as those who have the fear of God in their hearts that we might not sin against you. Oh Lord, keep us from the evil one. Keep us from temptations that are too strong for us. Give us grace to overcome 1:14:10 each and every temptation and trials that we may come forth triumphant Lord Jesus that you'll be pleased with us that you will be glorified in and through our lives. We thank you for this 1:14:27 time once again in Jesus name. Amen. Amen. We'll sing a song now. Then afterwards we'll hear brother Dench. [Music] 1:15:20 Hello. check with [Music] you. Let's let's sing this [Music] song. I'm but a strangeanger 1:15:42 here. This world is not my home. I'm just a soldier. And heaven is my home. Danger and sorrow 1:15:58 stand around me on every hand. But heaven is my father land. Heaven is my [Music] home, my glorious home. 1:16:18 and all my days are numbered. I soon shall leave this place for I have run my 1:16:31 race and then I'll stand before his face. What though the tempest raised is not my hope. Lord is my 1:16:50 pilgrimage and heaven is my home. This was cold winry blind shall very soon pass and I shall reach my home at night. [Music] 1:17:10 Heaven is my home, my glorious home, and all my days are numbered 1:17:24 here. I shall leave this place for I run my race and then I stand before his feet. For I'll murder 1:17:43 not this world is not my home. Whatever my earthly love for heaven is my home and I shall surely 1:17:58 stand there at my Lord's right hand. For heaven is my father. Heaven is my home. My glor is and all my days are 1:18:24 numbered. I soon shall leave this place for I'll have run my race and then I stand before his face. 1:18:39 [Music] Brother Charles was reminding us about 1:19:11 the time, you know, in Revelation chapter 2 verse 21. If you could just turn to it. Revelation chapter 2 21 says, "I gave her time to 1:19:32 repent and she does not want to repent of her immorality." The Lord is uh writing through his apostle about a woman called Jezebel. So the Lord gave time to repent. So we should not think that I've 1:19:51 repented the beginning of my Christian life. We should walk and repent till we become like Christ. And if you look at read these letters in uh to the churches in revelation, we can see the Lord looks at the church 1:20:08 churches in a different way than we see or we look. He don't look from thousand ft above. He looks in detail you know uh brother Charles was mentioning about Corinthians in the first uh chapter you don't need to turn there the verse 5 6 1:20:27 and all if you read they had all all speech all knowledge and all gift and later it says they were zealous for spiritual gifts that means if you attend a Sunday meeting in Corinth you're going to be very much impressed 1:20:47 The word is powerful and uh message is good, singing is good. I don't think we will reach anywhere near. They were all exercising many of them were exercising their spiritual gifts. But if the Paul apostle Paul had knowledge what is happening 1:21:05 inside and there were people living in immorality and uh they had boasting and uh as we heard there were court cases. So I I wonder you know the elders in the church they didn't see all these 1:21:23 things they didn't feel like offending people. So it's a great uh warning. It's uh the the way the Lord looks at the church and our own lives. It's not the way men looks at and we going to give answer for our hidden 1:21:41 motives. Not our actions but the motives that should put a a godly fear in our heart. And uh you know uh one mark of uh a heavenly man you know anything anything spiritual which valid or which is 1:21:58 precious even uh any revelation that we have about heavenly things it has a reflection on our lives. If I have a revelation of God, if I know the knowledge, if I have the knowledge of God and there is also the 1:22:16 sensitivity to sin that grows in parallel. So I'll be more careful with my attitudes. And if I love God and that reflects in loving my brother who I can see, the Bible says, how can I say that I love God if I cannot love the brother 1:22:33 whom I see. So every truth, every heavenly divine truth has uh reflection in our day-to-day life on earth. Let's look at these verses in Philippians 3:20. It says uh our citizenship 1:22:53 citizenship is in heaven from which we eagerly wait for a savior the lord Jesus Christ. So it's a shows a longing recognizing this is not my home and I wait for the Lord for his return. And similar verse in Ephesians 1:23:11 chapter 6 verse 20 if you can turn quickly to that verse. Ephesians chapter 6:20 for which I am an ambassador in chains that in proclaiming it that's the gospel I may speak boldly as I write or 1:23:30 to speak. So Paul he's himself as an ambassador in chains. So these both these letters Philippines and Ephasians he wrote from prison and our citizenship is tested in most unlikely places brothers and 1:23:48 sisters not yes we are tested in everywhere even here we are tested but uh it's it's in the most unlikely places our citizenship is proved and uh another verse in 1 John 3:3 if we can turn There here we see a man with a heavenly 1:24:14 hope. We know that when he appears we shall be like him because we shall see him just as he is pure. And everyone who has this hope fixed on him purifies himself just as he 1:24:32 is pure. So the one who has a heavenly hope in his daily life, he repents. He see unlikeness in his speech, unlikeness to Christ in his speech, in his attitude, in his motives. He cleanses himself. And uh that is one mark we can 1:24:52 really know where we are in the right path. brothers and sisters. Otherwise, we end up fooling ourselves hearing this truth, understanding in our head. And uh so the the attitude of a man who has a heavenly vision is that he he has an 1:25:12 active battle with sin in his heart. He has not uh given up. And second uh you know in the time of storm we read about this apostle when he was in prison he was not in self-pity there he was not thinking after serving you all these 1:25:30 years Lord why I am in this prison why you are not allowing all these things but he still is hoping that he's going to speak the promise he's going to share the gospel that's why he say I'm an ambassador in chain and uh please pray 1:25:45 for me that I may speak God's mysteries god's uh truth in in a powerful way. So it's a it's a wonderful hope a heavenly hope we have and uh we should know by no means we should feel loose heart or get discouraged when god exposes our sin in 1:26:05 our heart through different circumstances because I even in Corinthians we know the condition of Corinthians church but uh you know Paul is writing them does Zach shared a message about this so I'm so encouraged when I listen to it even to the church 1:26:21 of Corin Paul is writing run in such a way that you will win. So that means if you your condition is even like the church of Corinth maybe you have an outward testimony but it's inside it's it's it's 1:26:38 smelly but even you can have hope you can run in such a way that you will be able to win. So we were singing that song, you are great. You're you do miracles so great. So we must not forget that God is a God of miracle. He has 1:26:57 power to change. There is no hopeless case here. Everyone everyone the most miserable, utterly failed person, God can change him and transform him to a a heavenly minded man. So I want to conclude by turning into the Psalm uh 1:27:15 Psalm 73. Psalm 73 verse uh 25. I've shared this before but I like to share again. Psalm 73:2. I I want to have that attitude of 1:27:32 this man who wrote ASF. Says, "Whom have I in heaven but you? And beside you, I desire nothing on earth." We were singing that song even this morning. Whom have I in heaven but you and beside you, I desire nothing on 1:27:50 earth. So, he's a heavenly minded man. But, uh, how was he when he started? Was he here came from heaven without facing any difficulties and then he continued in that heavenly mindedness? Now he was an ordinary man. Look at the beginning of that chapter 1:28:10 you know verse uh 73 sorry chapter 73 from verse 3 to 12 10 verses. For I was envious of the arrogant in verse 3. I saw the prosperity of the wicked and they're not in trouble. Verse 1:28:29 five, six, their pride is their necklace. He's he's worried about the things around him, the people around him, his neighbors or the people who troubled them. So his eyes is fixed on the people around him. You know, I heard 1:28:46 brother Zach is mentioning the the most uh happiest people are those who judge themselves and the I believe the most miserable life that we can live is to judge other people. So that's what he's doing in the first 10 verses from verse 1:29:02 3 to 12. He is wearing the court of a judge. He's sitting in the throne. He's not allowing God to do his duty. But then this man in verse 13 it says in vain I have kept my heart pure. There is 1:29:20 self-pity. Oh why I'm in all this trouble. I kept all these sacrifices. it's in, you know, it's in vain. And then this man, he said, uh, verse 17, I came to the sanctuary of God. He came to the presence of the 1:29:37 Lord. That means he in his heart, God had been merciful to him. He could see the Lord and he gave up this court of judge and he gave the place to the Lord, the rightful place which he deserve and he became a worshshiper. He said the 1:29:55 Lord, he could see everything in uh through God's eyes. He said verse 18, you set them in slippery places. You cast them down to destruction. How they are destroyed in a moment and even he could see his own heart 1:30:13 embittered. In verse uh 21, I was senseless and arrogant. The path to become a heavenly man is through I think God will allow us to see our own foolishness. That's what apostle Paul Paul could say that there is no nothing 1:30:32 good dwells in my flesh. It was not a word that apostle Paul ced that it was his own revelation. There is nothing good and dwells in my heart. I can never ever look down on any human being but I have the same flesh as we heard. But 1:30:51 then the Lord is precious. It says Lord whom have I in heaven but you and beside you I desire nothing on earth. So brothers and sisters the the gospel is powerful. It is uh the word of God is powerful. He has power. He has ability 1:31:06 to transform a heart which is committed to him. So the only thing what we need to make sure that we are honest we we entrust him we commit our life to him and uh let's let's surrender our lives aresh as we heard this morning even if 1:31:24 you have never allowed the lord to give him as a rightful place to be the lord of our lives to offer our bodies it is the body the body god has given to us is to mean to be the temple of the holy spirit and he brought us with a Christ 1:31:40 we have to we need to glorify God in our body. So let's s offer ourselves and ask the Lord and trust the Lord that he will do a great miracle in our lives. He will transform us each one of us our children young people. Let's commit ourselves and 1:31:57 pray. Our gracious heavenly father we believe that you your word is powerful and it is you are the one who's speaking to us in these last days. Thank you for warning us. Thank you for speaking to us. Thank you for giving us times like 1:32:14 this, Lord. We heard your voice this morning and we want to respond in faith and we offer ourselves completely Lord and help us to be patient with you as you work in our lives. Help us not to be embittered. Help us to give up all 1:32:32 bitterness, all selfish ambitions, Lord, and to give us that desire to please you alone Lord. Help us to complete the plan which you have for each one of us. We believe you are a God who give good gifts to your children. So we ask Lord to give us Lord 1:32:48 from above. A gift which will last for eternity Lord to guide us in your ways Lord. We commit oursself aresh this morning. Thank you father for hearing. In Jesus precious and mighty name we pray. Amen. Amen. We will have announcements 1:33:05 now.
