0:03 Now, can you please take a seat? So, let's begin our next session. We thank God for the first session and for the word of God that we received. And this session is unique in a way, right? 0:24 So, now we get a chance to ask questions. I looked up how many times Jesus spoke in response to a question. Like we heard If you read the Bible carefully, there's a lot of uh passages 0:41 uh where Jesus spoke in response to a question from someone. Like what is the greatest commandment? Or who is my neighbor? Should I pay taxes to the Caesar? What else? Um how many times should I forgive? Uh how can I mean, what does it mean to 0:58 be born again? Can I a man go back to his mother's womb? Things like that. I mean, how many times and what does the rich young ruler come comes to Jesus? He comes with the right question to the right right person. What should I do to 1:15 inherit eternal life? Likewise, there are some things these are very genuine questions many of us go through. And uh we are serious about walking in the way of the Lord, definitely there will be some things will be puzzling. Uh 1:29 we are perplexed. We may not know. Uh thank God first of all, we have the Holy Spirit. We can go and ask and wait on the Lord. But God also has given some brothers in our church like with the gift of teaching. And we have someone 1:46 like that, Brother Santosh. We have seen uh his life and his teaching and his anointing anointing of God upon him. And I was personally blessed many times with his question and answers. Especially, I would say last year uh last year exactly 2:02 1 year ago when we had the conference. There were so many questions. I I have listed all of them for him. Some of them were very tough, and he answered so well, and I give all glory to God first of all because God has given him that 2:15 wisdom and discernment and um and the anointing to answer these questions. And now I'm excited again for this session. There are about 21 questions submitted. Uh Santosh, I shared the document with you. I And um he's going to answer 2:31 >> [clears throat] >> according to the time we have. So, let's uh as he's answering, also remember to pray for him um as he speaks the word speaks the word of God. I and we can make it more interactive. Uh hopefully, if he 2:46 finishes all the questions, if we still have time, maybe I will give some opportunity for you to ask questions here. Uh maybe you can take a mic and ask the questions, but it depends on how much time we have. So, let's all pray, 3:00 and then let's give the time to brother Santosh. Heavenly Father, thank you for the rich spiritual food you have already provided uh that what we received today. We are so thankful and thankful for the times of fellowship. Um thank you for the work 3:15 you are doing in each one of our lives, adults and children included. And thank you for the way you are building a church, and thank you for this opportunity you have given to us to come together in a special way in this 3:26 conference. Thank you for bringing brother Santosh into our midst and many others from different places. Uh Father, as we look forward to hear from you uh for the answers for these questions, I pray that you would use brother 3:40 Santosh, anoint him, continue to anoint him with your Holy Spirit, give him the wisdom, grace, and strength he needs to answer these questions exactly the way you intend to be answered, that it will satisfy the hearts of the questioner, 3:54 and also challenges us. It also encourages us, comforts us, and also makes us to go back to you and to read the word of God more and to seek you for discernment for understanding of the word of God. Holy Spirit God, you have written the 4:10 scripture. Unless you open our eyes, we cannot understand. Please help us. We look on to you. Thank you. We commit this time and our dear brother Santosh into your hands. In Jesus mighty name I pray. Amen. Brother Santosh, please. 4:41 >> Yeah, amen. I often say during Q&A sessions that God is not interested in answering our questions. He wants us to know him. 5:00 And if you read the Gospels carefully, you see that quite often, in fact, I would think just off the top of my head, more often than not, Jesus didn't answer the actual question 5:19 that people asked. More often than not, he said, "I'm not going to answer your question." Sometimes he said, "I'll I'll answer your question if you answer my question." And they couldn't answer that, so he said, "I'm not going to answer 5:36 your question." And I say that because there is a tendency in us to expect that I deserve an answer. God, you owe it to me to explain to me why this is happening in my life. No, he doesn't. He's God. 5:55 Can the clay say to the potter, "Why have you made me like this?" Bible says, "No." Lord, you've allowed these circumstances in my life. Now, please understand I'm not trying to be super spiritual here. Uh it's okay to ask God, 6:12 Lord, um um give me some clarity. Give me some peace. That's That's what you can ask for. I remember some years ago, I was I found myself answering the asking the question, 6:29 "Why me, Lord?" And the Lord said, "I want you to change that to say, 'Why not me, Lord?'" What's the difference between "Why me, Lord?" and "Why not me, Lord?" You want somebody who's willing to 6:48 exemplify Christ through suffering, through your supernatural peace. "Here am I, send me into that trial." That's what God is looking for. Not for people who are just looking to squirm 7:06 their way out of a tight mess. And please understand I'm not teaching asceticism, where we choose suffering and we choose pain. But if the Lord says, "I want to send you as my witness to be a part of my kingdom and to represent me 7:24 to people who need somebody to represent them, can I send you? Whom shall I send?" And may the Lord say, "Why not me, Lord?" That changed for me, where instead of when I went through difficult times after that, instead of saying, "Ah, why 7:42 me?" and you sit on a pity pot, feel sorry for yourself, it changes your perspective. You look up and say, "Lord, you're accomplishing something through this. If you chose me, you could have chosen anybody. If you chose me to be the one to go 7:58 through this, if you chose our family to be the one to go through this, if you chose our church to be the one to go through this so that around the world people could hear about what this church is going through and rejoice 8:15 at how we have kept our faith and our hope and our rejoicing in hope. Why not me, Lord? But I also was saying that God is not His goal is not to answer our questions. 8:33 Uh the reason I say that, if you would turn with me to 1 Corinthians chapter 8, if God was to answer all our questions, he would probably end up being our 8:52 enemy. If God was to simply answer all our questions, he would probably end up being our enemy. And if I put it that way, you say, "Okay, thanks. I don't need to have my questions answered because I don't want God to be my enemy." 1 Corinthians 8 9:11 verse 1, the latter part says this, "Knowledge makes arrogant." If God explains to me and gives me the answer that I want, he gives me the knowledge about this situation, it will make me arrogant. And what does 9:29 it say that God does to arrogant people? He's opposed to them. James 4:6, 1 Peter 5, God is opposed to the arrogant. So, God says, "You want me to answer all your questions? You're going to become arrogant because you know all the 9:45 answers now, and I'll have to be your enemy. But love builds up. Love edifies. So, your our prayer should be in the midst of all the questions we have, Lord, "I don't necessarily want 10:03 knowledge because I'll probably end up being your enemy because I'll become arrogant. Knowledge makes arrogant like gravity will pull you down. That's a physical law. Knowledge will make you arrogant. That's a spiritual law. 10:18 So, when you see that it's important for us to dig into our motives for why we ask the questions we ask. Nothing wrong with asking the questions. The disciples ask questions, the Pharisees ask questions, etc. But we must examine our motives for 10:36 these questions. What What is my purpose in asking these questions? Is it that I can love God more? Then you'll be built up. But if it's so that I have some kind of answer that I feel like I deserve have the right to know. 10:51 Why would you treat me like this? Or why why is the world like this? It'll make me arrogant and God will be my enemy. So, now when we go through circumstances in life, we don't have to always In fact, I would say just get out of the 11:08 habit of saying God, you owe me an explanation. Tell me why is this happening? And say Lord, no, instead of that, let me love you more. I want to know you. This is eternal life. John 17:3, that we might know God. So, when you go through a trial, when 11:27 you go through a circumstance, you have a choice. You can know the answer or you can know God. You know the answer, you'll probably get that little weight off of your shoulder right now. Like I know the answer. Okay, God, you showed me what 11:42 you're going to do through this purpose through this situation. I got the answer. And then there's knowing God. When you know God, and the more you know God, the less you need to know the answer. God is enough. You're like, Lord, I don't need to know 11:59 the answer. I know you. What did Paul say? I know whom I have believed. And because I know him, I know that he is able to keep what I have entrusted to him until the very end. My wife, my marriage, my children, my home, 12:17 my future. I know him, and that's why I leave it with him. He's able to keep it. See what a different life it is than I need to know, Lord, explain this and explain that. So, I'll start Q&A's with that. Shall we end now? 12:35 >> [laughter] >> No. Let's Let's see if we can answer some of these questions in the spirit of knowing God. That's That's the heart. The first question on here is, "How can I have a printout and then a a more live version, but I think it's the same. How 12:51 can I get victory in the area of unbelief? How can I experience a life that is mentioned in Romans 4:20 through 21? Let's Let's turn there. Romans 4. And these are good questions, by the way. I I Please understand if I'm not I 13:09 hope I wasn't trying to shame or embarrass anybody. I think the questions are good. So, let's explore these questions and seek the Lord to know him and his heart through these answers. Romans 4. It's speaking about Abraham. 13:25 Uh the the question mentioned verses 20 and 21. Let's read the beginning of that sentence in verse 19. Without becoming faith weak faith, he contemplated his own body now as good as dead, since he was about 100 years old, and 13:40 the deadness of Sarah's womb. So, he looked at the circumstance and said, "This This is hopeless. My body's as good as dead. Her body is completely dead, cuz she's 90 years old and can't have children anymore. That's what that means. Yet, verse 20, with 13:57 respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief, but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully assured that what God has promised, he was able to perform. So, the question mentioned Romans 4:20 14:13 and 21. And I actually think in reading the verse, the answer is right there. So, the question was, "How can I get victory in the area of unbelief? Where I'm I'm doubting God. How can I come to this life that Abraham had where 14:30 as it says here, and I've even spoken on this. It's been a tremendous encouragement to me, this verse. That what it says that he did not waver in unbelief, but grew strong in faith. What I see there is that as the fulfillment, the the outward fulfillment 14:49 of the promise took time, his faith got stronger. In the In the world, if you promise something to somebody, like we're going to have ice cream. 15:06 But then you you make them wait for it. The longer you have to wait for it, according to the world, this is unbelief. The longer you wait, the more you become uncertain about it. Oh, it's been It's been a year. I don't think 15:21 it's going to happen. Or it's been It's been an hour since I asked Dad for the ice cream, or Mom. Now it's been 2 hours. Now it's been 10 hours. It's been 1 day. It's been a month. It's never going to happen. That's how it is in the world. 15:36 Faith, according to this verse, that the longer it waits, the more confident it is that God is going to to fulfill it. So, we have a choice. When God delays the answer for something you're praying about that he has promised, 15:56 if it takes a little longer, you have the choice at that point. It's a fork in the road. The path of unbelief says, "Ah, it's been a long time. I think it's it's not going to happen." Faith says, "Okay. The fact that this is 16:11 now taking a little longer means that I have time for my faith to grow." So, either your unbelief can grow, your your you can grow in your distrust of God because now you have to wait another week or another year or another 10 16:27 years. Your distrust of God can grow. That's what unbelief is. Or your trust in God can grow. That's up to you. You choose. You choose to say, "Lord, it's been so long. I I I'm starting to doubt you, Lord." Or you can refuse that and say, "Lord, 16:47 like Abraham, he did not waver in unbelief, but grew strong in God faith." And how did he do that? I see two things here. First of all, he gave glory to God. That's the end of verse 20. Um >> [clears throat] 17:05 >> He gave glory to God. And goes back to a little bit of what I was saying earlier. Anytime you go through a trying circumstance, something that shape that is shaking you, simply I want to give you the glory right now. 17:19 I'm I'm I'm going through uh pain. I'm going through darkness. I'm going through uncertainty. Um and I'm going through all this I I don't see, but simply I want to give you glory. I glorify your name. I bless you. Start singing praise in the middle of 17:37 that storm. In the middle of that prison cell like Paul and Silas, start singing. They every I I Paul and Silas probably thought, "Man, we're probably going to die tomorrow." I don't They didn't know that God was going to 17:50 cause an earthquake and set them free from the prison cell, but they just decided, "Let's praise God. Why not?" Give glory to God. So, when the when the promise delays, when you look at the hopelessness of the situation and how long it's taking, 18:04 start by giving glory to God. Say, "Lord, I give you the glory. I honor you. I praise you." Praise has a wonderful way of defeating unbelief. You start singing. Turn on the the song and start dancing if you want. And lift 18:21 your hands to him. Lift up your head and you it it destroys the devil who wants to get you to hunker down and put your head down and have the sad mournful look like that everybody knows you're going through a hard time. 18:35 Psalm 34, I often think about this verse. My children were joking with me on the ride here that I tend to get to the first three questions in an hour and then I have to go through the last 20 in in 15 minutes. So, I'll try not to 18:54 do that. Psalm 34. >> [laughter] >> Um in verse six. Uh uh oh, let's read verse four. 19:12 I sought the Lord and he answered me, delivered me from all my fears. So, here's somebody who's got fear that's coming in. All kinds of things are going to happen. Verse six. This poor man, this afflicted man is the right word there. This person who's 19:27 going through affliction cried. And he had troubles in the end of verse six. And um he need to be rescued. Verse seven. And in the midst of all of this, what do you see? Why is it that he starts by saying, "I will bless the Lord at all times. His 19:46 praise shall continually be in my midst." Why? Verse five for me is the key verse there. When they were going through this affliction and fear and trouble, they could have looked down at the problems around them. They could have looked at others who 20:04 they couldn't trust anymore. They could have looked at themselves and seen their own capability, but instead they looked to him, it says. Verse five. They looked to him. And as a result, their faces were radiant. And their faces were not ashamed. So, 20:23 they showed up on Sunday morning and they'd been through the hardest week, perhaps, Monday through Saturday. But instead of looking at the problem and looking at others and looking at themselves, they looked to him and the 20:35 brightness and the glory of God and the joy that comes from being in his presence reflected on their face and they showed up on Sunday morning and you couldn't tell what they were going through. I pray for such a life where people have no idea what I'm going 20:50 through on the inside because I'm looking to him. Not because EVEN GOD HAS GOT ME OUT OF THE CIRCUMSTANCE, but in the midst of the trial I'm looking to him and his radiance is reflecting off of me now and everybody was like, "Oh, Santos must be 21:03 having a pretty good life." And they don't know. God doesn't have to answer my problems. He wants me to look to him. And the problems one day will go away. We know that. Our afflictions are momentary and light, we're told. 21:20 They're earning for us an eternal weight of glory. So, in the midst of your trial, look up to him and your face will be radiant. So, to me that's glorifying God. And then the latter part of Romans 4, it says in verse 21, 21:32 "Be fully assured that what God has promised, he will perform." Two things. Look to him. Start glorifying God. Lift your head up. Straighten up like Jesus said. He said that when you go through trial, when you go through the final trial, the 21:49 great tribulation, in the midst of all of that, straighten up. Lift up your head. Your redemption is near. Jesus said, I think it's Luke 21. And here he says, "Glorify God and be fully assured." That's a choice you must make. You say, "Lord, I believe it 22:05 that what you have promised, you're going to perform." That's the answer that I would say to that question. Number two, can you speak a little bit about the balance between dependence on the Holy Spirit or being led by the Spirit or walking by the 22:21 Spirit and denying your will and carrying the cross? I may be wrong, but it seems like in the beginning of your Christian life you deny your will more and then the Lord leads you by your spirit the more you yield your will to him. 22:33 Otherwise you can just make excuses that the Holy Spirit didn't help me in this situation and so I got angry or became impatient. I also understand that it is the Lord that gives us the desire and ability to do his will. Can you give us 22:44 a practical example of what it looks like to be dependent on the Holy Spirit and denying your will? I think this is a topic that really deserves um more attention and more uh uh sharing, I think. And I was going to speak in the evening about we we heard 23:02 in the morning about from God that the true work of God begins with him. And the next phrase in that was through God. And I had planned to speak about God accom- everything that we do for God being done through the power of the Holy 23:15 Spirit. So hopefully I will address all of the points in this question. Um thank you for the question cuz that gives me some sense of how what to share on in the evening meeting. So let's uh let's look at that in the evening. 23:29 Uh number three, question number three, how do I know what field of study and career path God wants me to pursue? Yeah, that's a good question. Uh I'm sure many of you wonder about that. Um Uh let's turn to Proverbs chapter 3. 23:53 How to know what is what is what what is the calling uh and the field of study? Now, I would say it begins with what you have an interest or an aptitude in. You say, "Well, I like this this field." Now, it can't be like you want to be the play for the US 24:07 national team soccer because that's what every kid wants to do or football or you want to play for the um Is it the What is the football team around here anyway? >> [laughter] >> Yeah, we I mean you've got about 20 different answers here, I'm sure. 24:23 Uh but yeah, so but think about what what what do you what field interests you? If it's medicine or engineering or art or teaching or whatever it might be, service. And see if if that is a field that uh has an opportunity for jobs that you'll 24:43 be able to get a job in that. And then you could look at that as as pursuing education in that field. And it could be anything. God gives us all different talents. And so um the key is to work hard in whatever area the Lord calls you 24:57 to. And as you do that, I also say get some advice from earthly counselors like your parents or elders in the church for practical advice or other uh read up articles about whether a particular field is good and what is it 25:13 going to look like. Um I mean these days I It used to be that some years ago computer science was a fairly safe field to go into. Nowadays not so much. And uh AI has taken over a lot of those programming jobs. So we don't know 25:27 uh what what things are going to look like in the future, but you can research a little bit about that. So do that, but in addition to that or primarily look at this verse in Proverbs 3:5. Let this be the attitude of your heart. 25:41 Trust in the Lord with all your heart. So in the midst of all this uncertainty, I don't know what's going to happen all that. Say, "Lord, I trust you completely." And really mean it. Lord, I trust you. And somebody says, "Hey, what 25:58 are you going to do in life? What's your future?" And if you're a young person says, "Well, I'm thinking about this, but I want you to know I trust the Lord. I really do. He's never going to fail me. He's going to take care of me." Oh, 26:09 what a wonderful thing it would be for your peers to hear. Wow. That's somebody I wish I had his kind of confidence. And you really mean it. You're not faking it. You say, "I don't know. I I'd like to go into this field 26:21 and I'm starting to take some courses here and investigate that. So I'm doing the due diligence, but I trust the Lord completely. And don't lean on your own understanding." That means don't don't only you know don't trust yourself. 26:35 And you say well I I I can do this and I can do that and I can plan my my my college and I'll finish by this and I'll get that job and all that. It's okay to plan but don't lean on that. Don't put your confidence in that. That's what 26:47 leaning means. Don't lean on your own plans and your own ideas. Don't let that be what you're counting on. Let it be God. It's one or the other. Trust in the Lord. Lean on the Lord. And don't lean on your own understanding. And then it says in all 27:01 your ways acknowledge him. You say you say okay I've applied for this college or I wrote this exam and I I'm going to take this class, okay? But as I do that I say Lord I think this is what I want to do. But I want to acknowledge you first. I 27:17 want you to be glorified. I want you to be honored by my life. And if you approve of it, Lord, let this go through. Acknowledge him and he will direct your paths. And I I got a picture of this verse some time ago of me I'm about to step 27:34 somewhere. I'm about to take that job or if you're not married you're going to marry that person or you're going to to buy this house or you're going to buy that car or you're going to move to this town and and you're you're about to place your foot 27:47 somewhere. But as you're about to you don't go there with confidence. Yeah, I'm going to do this. I planned it up. You're saying Lord I acknowledge you. I look up to you. And I say I think this is where I want to go. But Lord I acknowledge you. And 28:00 then he says no actually I want you to put your foot here. Here are where the footsteps of Jesus are for you. He will direct your steps. He will move your leg. Yeah, put it there. Now my next step I'm about I think I made the 28:14 plans. I think that that's where I should go. Lord I acknowledge you. What should I do, Lord? He will direct your steps. I I seek to live this, dear family. I really do. I mean it. With whether it's my personal life or our marriage and our 28:30 home, decisions in the church. We say Lord we make There's another verse that brother Surin and I were talking about yesterday, Proverbs 16, similar in a similar vein. The mind of man, Proverbs 16:9, the mind 28:48 of man plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps. So, it's nothing wrong with planning it, but let the Lord direct it. And you'll see that that's that's that's reality. And I also want to say something here that I hope you can relate to, and that is 29:07 in the world they say, "Well, okay, go with your gut." You ever heard that phrase, "Go with your gut"? Which is There's some level of intuition that all of us have which kind of says, "Yeah, this probably the right thing to do." 29:19 Now, that's in the world. I do believe that the principle applies spiritually. Go with your spiritual gut. And for that, I use the word the verse in John 7. John 7 verse 29:38 38. John 7:38, it speaks about the Holy Spirit. It says that verse 39 shows that he was speaking about the spirit. And verse 38 it says that he who believes in me, as the scripture said, from his gut from his belly, that's what the King 29:56 James says, from his innermost being, will flow rivers of living water. So, I'm I'm I I see there that the the Holy Spirit comes and finds his home in my gut, which means as a as a Christian, as a spirit-filled Christian, I actually 30:11 get to have a real gut feeling that's trustworthy. A real sense in my gut. If I'm really spirit-filled, if I'm seeking to be continually filled with the Holy Spirit, and I'm led by the spirit, then I have within me someone, the Holy Spirit 30:26 himself, who's in my gut, who's giving me this sense of, "Yeah, that's a good direction to head. That's a good job to pick, or that's a good path to explore." In addition to that, it's good to seek counsel from godly men, especially if 30:40 you have elders in the local church. Uh seek their input in the in the in the counsel of many, there is wisdom, the proverb says. So, you start with that gut feeling, and so let's say you you you end up with two job opportunities. 30:55 Well, I could take this job or that job. And I say, "Well, Lord, from from the perspective of um um what would I I could I could still be here and live and be a part of this local church, and I could still be involved in the church and still put 31:09 your kingdom first in all things. I I I kind of feel like this would be a better one. That's my gut feeling as a spiritual person." And then I would say, "Go with that." Just go with that that gut feeling, pray about it, ask seek 31:22 counsel from the others, and and be willing to receive that counsel. Don't just get counsel for the sake of saying, "Well, I asked them, but I did what I wanted to do anyway." Really take their counsel, and then sense this is the 31:32 right thing to do. And then you say, "Lord, I hold it loosely. I'm coming in front of this door, and I'm I'm I'm expecting I'm going to try the knob and see is this the door you want me to My gut feeling says this is the way you ought to take, and I try it. 31:48 Nope, it's locked. Lord, what should I do? I thought this was what you wanted me to do. Okay. God may say, "Wait. Wait a little bit. Okay. Let [clears throat] me try it again in a couple days." Or and at some point the Lord may say, "No, 32:01 it's time to try the next door down." And you find that that door is open. So, the Lord will direct your steps very clear. I mean, that verse in Proverbs 3 verses 5 and 6 is a promise. He will. You believe it, he will, right? You 32:16 could say, "Santosh, isn't it kind of imagination to think that he will actually open the door?" No, that's not. For me, it's the word of God. And I'll take God's word literally and believe that he will. And I can testify 32:27 that to the extent that I've done that, I've seen the Lord guide me supernaturally. How I ended up in Colorado. I mean, if if I knew some of the things that would happen when after I moved to Colorado, I may not have chosen to move 32:40 to Colorado. And yet God kept me in the dark and just allowed me to just trust his hand in leading. And there were some uncertainties and all of that, but I just moved forward and today I look back and see that was exactly what God wanted me to do. 32:56 And where he wanted me to be. So, I hope that that will encourage you to um to know and the the question was specifically about study and career path. So, if you have a a field of interest, certainly explore it if you think that there will there's a viable 33:13 option for providing for yourself and your family with that kind of a job, then sure. So, why not? But hold it loosely. Let the Lord give it to you or take it away. Um and you'll see the Lord do that, okay? >> [clears throat] 33:28 >> Number four is I understand why we need to commit to the local church. And that's good. I'm glad you understand that. Um whoever asked the question. But I'm wondering if this is a pattern mentioned anywhere in the new covenant. 33:44 Yes, of course it is. Um we see um um if if it wasn't, we wouldn't teach it. That that certainly we don't I often say that uh I think we are the best church that I know of. The sister network of churches. I don't 34:03 say that comparing myself to others. I just simply say that if we weren't if I knew of a better church, that's where I would be. Plain and simple. I I'm not I'm I'm just saying that of the churches that I know, the churches 34:14 that we're a part of are the best ones. I'm not ashamed to say that. I would be I think we would all be pretending to be false false false humility. We would have false humility says, "Well, we're not the best." Well, I said, "If we're not the best, then 34:27 where is it? I want to be there." So, perfectly okay to say, "As far as I know, this is where God wants me to be. This is the best church for me. Maybe best for somebody else is some other church." Sure, why not? But this is is 34:39 church for me because this is where I certainly believe I can grow the most spiritually and where but also what I say is that one of the reasons why I believe it is the best church for me is this. Is that I examine everything in God's word in 34:56 the New Testament and I see is this church practicing that and preaching it. Everything in the New Testament. We don't cut out anything and say well that's for that culture at that time. You have to know what was going on in 35:07 Corinth. Why did Paul write first Corinthians? I don't need any of that. It's in God's word. That's enough for me. And everything in God's word that's taught in the New Testament we seek to practice and preach. And anything that we're doing you ought 35:24 to be able to come and say to us why are you doing that? Is it Is it there in the New Testament? Why do you require that? Now there may be certain ways of doing like we meet at 10:30. Okay. Some churches might meet in the afternoon. Okay. For some churches 35:39 it might be more convenient to meet on a different day of the week. I think it's good to meet on Sunday. We're told that the early church did meet on the first day of the week. But if it had to be a Saturday sure, why not? 35:49 Nothing specific about that. There's no command in the New Testament that says it has to be on the first day of the week. But there is a command in the in the New Testament that says that women should cover their heads when they pray or 35:59 prophesy and a man should not. There is a command in the scriptures that says that we should rejoice always. There are commands in the scripture that show us that that leadership in the church is through elders and there's no such thing as paid 36:12 salaried pastors. So those are the things we stand for and you ought to be able to ask us in the church is like hey that practice you have that you preach, where is it in God's word? And we must be able to show it. So the same with this importance of 36:29 committing to the local church. Let's turn first Corinthians to first Corinthians chapter 10. The church is described as the body, the body of Christ and that's a very intentional analogy that the Holy Spirit gives us and so you 36:44 look when it says you are a body he he didn't say you are a car or a cart or a tree or something else. He uses that analogy of the body so that when we look at the body we can get the true picture of the church. The body of Christ. He didn't say it's 37:03 the tree of Christ or the stone of Christ or the house we are called a house to some extent but that picture of the body is what we're given. And so we that analogy is intentional where we can look at the body and just say okay, he 37:18 called it a body because of how the body operates as a picture of how the church should operate. So here in in in 1 Corinthians chapter 10 you read for example in verse here he's talking about um the breaking of bread. And why do we break bread? 37:38 What are we testifying to? If it were simply part of the universal body of Christ which is saints gone on before and saints across the world all over the world. If the breaking of bread was simply a testifying of me being a part of the universal body 37:56 of Christ then I find a piece of bread and some grape juice and privately I find a little corner and I say Lord, I'm a part of your body. I don't care about all the other people but you and I Lord bread and a cup. Now I've never heard of anybody practicing 38:10 it like that just by themselves. Even the most uh worldly denominations of Christendom say the breaking of bread must be done with others of the of the believers. Others of the church, right? So clearly we are saying yes, there is this it is 38:28 Christ's body and Christ's blood in the cup but I'm doing that with you. I'm not just doing that at home saying yes Lord while I'm doing this I know there's my brother in China and South America in Brazil and um in Zimbabwe and France and 38:45 uh Australia we're all part of your body taking it. No, I'm I'm gathering with a group of people. There is the communal the the the doing it together aspect of the breaking of bread, which is what Paul is talking about here. And in that context 39:00 he says, "Is not the cup of blessing which we bless a sharing in the blood of Christ? Is not the bread which we break a sharing in the body of Christ?" So, he clearly shows that when we break bread and we take the cup, we're 39:14 indicating a commitment to the body of Christ. "Since there is one bread, we who are many are one body, for we all partake of the one bread." Here he's s- speaking about the the the church. He's writing to a local church that expressing 39:33 their commitment to Christ in the sharing of the bread and the cup with each other. So, that's the one thing you hear. And then in chapter 12, if you if you go on further, Corinthians First Corinthians is one of the books that 39:47 really speaks about some of these practical aspects of membership or of church life. And here in First Corinthians 12, it says in verse 22, "It is much truer that the members of the body which seem to be weaker are 40:07 necessary. And those members, verse 23, of the body which we deem less honorable, on these we bestow more abundant honor. And our less presentable members become much more presentable, whereas our more presentable members 40:21 have no need of it. But here we This is the part I wanted to get to, the middle of verse 24. But God has so composed the body giving more abundant honor to that member which lacked. And notice he's using the word member, 40:35 members of the body. So, when we in our in our church in Colorado, for example, when we talk when visitors come after a few months of them coming, we say, "We do believe in membership." And just because many of the churches in 40:47 the world uh falsely practice that, false membership, like they just want you to make sure you don't go to somebody else because they care about your money and they want you to make sure you give your money here and they can keep track of 40:59 that. That's how it is sadly for many churches where membership is practiced. To swing to the opposite extreme and completely throw out membership altogether is exactly what the devil wants us to do. In the same way that you say, "Well, is 41:13 there such a thing as being filled baptized in the Holy Spirit? Well, look at all those charismatic churches where they bark like dogs and roll on the ground and do a bunch of crazy things. That I don't want that, so I reject it altogether." 41:25 Well, the best way, one of the most effective ways that the devil has robbed Christians of their inheritance is by getting them to be taken up with one of the two extremes. So, be wary of that with everything. If something is really true and valuable, 41:41 you can be absolutely certain that the devil's going to counterfeit it on both sides, the extreme as well as the rejection of it altogether. And that's true about membership. There is the extreme. You've probably met or know or have come 41:54 from churches where the membership is very strict and they they put you under the ban if you leave the church and you're excommunicated and you're cut off from your family and there's heavy-handed cultic author- cultish 42:05 authority enforced from above. And so, some people come out of those churches and say, "Well, yeah, I don't I see what membership was." And you reject it altogether and say, "Well, I don't need to be a member at all. I'm just a 42:17 member of Christ's body." But here you see the narrow way where there's true membership. He says, "Here's what membership looks like." He God has given more abundant honor to that member which lacks, so that there may be no division in the body, 42:34 but that the members, speaking about the church, using the body as a picture, the members may have the same care for one another. And so, in answer to the question about what is it important to have a local church? I say, "Well, you need somewhere 42:49 where you are expressing your care." That is a command in the word of God. First Corinthians 12 verse 25. So, if you say, "Well, I'm a part of the universal body of Christ and I care for my brother in in Brazil and Argentina." 43:06 I say, "Well, how?" I send them some money every now and then. Is that care? Are you a caring father if you live on the other side of the country and send your children money every now and then? What did first What did we read in 1 43:20 John? 1 John uh I may not be able to find it, but I know it's there somewhere in chapter 3 maybe. How can you say you love God when you hate the brother whom you see? Do you remember where that is? 4:20? Yeah. If someone says, "I love God and 43:40 hates his brother, he is a liar for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen." So, we prove our love for God whom we cannot see by the brother whom I can see. So, it's a deception to say, "Well, 43:55 I'm a part of the body of Christ and I don't need I don't need to be connected with anybody. I don't want to see you these people because I can't stand being around them. I just want to sit at home and watch online and and get my and just stay 44:06 within my comfort zone." That's not the church. Every member, let's go back to 1 Corinthians 12. Verse 25 again. But that the members may have the same care for one another. And then he gets even more specific. 44:26 He says, "And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it." That can only happen in a local church. If a member of an I'm sure there are God's children all over this town alone in other churches. Quite likely. Why 44:41 not? But if that that brother of mine who's part of the body of Christ in that other church even 5 miles away is suffering in some way, there's no way for me to suffer with him. I cannot obey verse 26. Because he's over there. I'm over here 44:57 in my house just watching the the YouTube live stream. And if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. So, these verses of the different ones that I showed you show me very plainly that God has called us to 45:15 be in local expressions of the body Christ. We don't say we're the only church. God has his children everywhere. I just said that. But God wants It is God's will for every one of us to be committed to a local expression of the body of Christ. That's 45:30 the phrase we like to use. It's just an expression of the body of Christ. It is not the body of Christ. It's an expression of it. The body is another wonderful example where Think of a local church like this hand that can move independently without the 45:43 arm moving at all. And the church may do do this, pick up that, and and all that, but it's connected. And or maybe but at the same time me as a finger can move independently off that. But when the hand moves, when the arm 45:56 moves, all the fingers move with it. There is a sense of independence but unity in movement. It's a beautiful picture of You're still accountable to Christ. This finger is moving in on its own without the hand moving because the head is saying move. 46:14 And that applies to your your individual life, your marriage, your home where the church doesn't have authority in your home and in in your marriage. We can us as elders we can give you counsel and wisdom, warning if you're living in 46:26 sin, if your sinful life privately is overflowing into bad speech in when you're around others. We We see that there's some concern in your life. We'll We'll speak into it. But when the church moves as a whole under the direction of the Holy Spirit 46:42 and led by the elders whom God has ordained in the church, every member of that church moves with it. If this finger was to stay on its own, you know it's not connected to the hand. That's the body. And the reason the finger is able to 46:55 hear from the brain is because it is connected through the hand. So, it's wonderful. I could go on about that that connection to the head and how God has ordained it. That's what he's talking about in chapter 12. That is 47:09 ordained through the body. Philippians 2, I think it is or it says that the the church is built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone. I'll show you that verse very quickly if 47:24 I move on. 47:47 Thought it was in Philippians 3:2. Let me know where it is. 48:07 2:20 Oh, Ephesians. Yes. Yeah, that's right. Not Philippians. I was in Philip Yeah, Ephesians 2:20. Having been built This is the church. So, verse 19. So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow 48:26 citizens with the saints and are of God's household. Here he used the picture of the house. Having been built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. See how God uses elders and apostles and prophets. Christ Jesus himself being the 48:42 cornerstone. So, he is the most important of all. So, that's some on the church. The next question is um um about understandings uh okay, like I have switching over to the 48:57 This has been nicely organized into some um categories. Let me look at this here. Um How do you not stay discouraged in the waiting before God answers, especially when we don't know if his 49:16 answer is no. Example, waiting for a spouse, having him address a situation at work with a co-worker, or waiting for healing for a loved one. I think I talked about that already in one of the previous, where you give glory to God 49:28 and believe, be assured that God is going to finish what he promised. So, um praising him in the midst of that waiting, and really say, "Lord, give me true faith." See, this we've talked about how Abraham uh in the world, the longer you wait, 49:45 the more discouraged you get, and you feel like it's never going to happen. If you're truly growing in faith, if you're a believer, that's the right word of that I used of the word believer, the longer you wait, it's given more time 49:57 for your faith to grow. And how does faith come? Romans 10:17, faith comes from hearing hearing the word of Christ. So, in that middle of that waiting, instead of feeding yourself on the world's thoughts, instead of feeding yourself on 50:11 your own thoughts of unbelief, say, "Holy Spirit, speak to me. Lord Jesus, let me hear your voice." If you truly hear the voice of Christ, you will get faith. Romans 10:17, you must know that verse. Faith comes from hearing the word of 50:27 Christ. So, in the midst of that, don't listen to social media, don't listen to the doctors, don't listen Yeah, you can take that into consideration, but at the end of it all, you quiet all the other voices, including your own, and you say, 50:39 "Lord, I want to hear your voice." And in through the storm, you'll hear a still, small voice saying, "This is the way. Walk in it." You'll hear the voice of Christ. Romans 10:17, it says faith will come. So, that's how you will have faith. 50:57 Uh how to overcome pride and be humble. Yeah, um uh humility but the one of the best examples I've seen of humility is in Philippians chapter 2. Humility is not in speech or in way of walking. If I If I walk with my head 51:17 down like this and just very soft-spoken, that's not humility. It could easily be the worst form of pride man of masquerading as humility. Humility is in the way you think. Remember that. It's all in your thoughts. It will manifest in your 51:35 speech and in your conduct, sure, but it starts in your thoughts and your attitudes because it says um in verse um five, have this attitude which was also in Christ Jesus. And verse two, be of the same mind. 51:54 This is how we become one in the church. What is that? Be of the same mind verse two, Philippians 2:2, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. And what is that? What is the one mind we're all supposed to have? Is it all we all agree on this 52:06 doctrine and that doctrine? No. We all want to be humble. This is the basis of unity in the church. This is the basis of unity in your marriage. It's the basis of unity in your home. We all We both, husband and wife, want to 52:20 be humble. Every member of this church, we want to be humble. Verse three, do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind. You see that? It's It's the way you think. With humility of mind, regard each 52:35 other, one another, as more important than yourselves. Do not look out for your own personal interests, but for the interests of others. And have this attitude because Jesus had that attitude. That's what he says in verse five. 52:49 You know, Jesus walked in the When you walked in the door this morning, did you think that you are the least important person in this room? Just think about that for a moment. You walked in. Just think about the attitude 53:02 and the way you walked in, your thoughts about yourself. Did you actually think that I am the least important person here in this room right now? Everybody here is more important than me. Not more spiritual, not anything else, 53:15 just more important. You know that Jesus walked in this room, he actually would think every one of us was more important than him. That's what they're saying here. That's Jesus had that attitude. If Jesus was to walk in that door, he he'd be 53:30 thinking, all the all of you are more important than me. The son of God, THE KING OF KINGS, HE WALKS in and he says, yeah, you're more important. You you you get first, whatever. And it's not just artificial, yeah, go in line first, brother, that sort of 53:45 thing. IS HE ACTUALLY THOUGHT THAT? THINK ABOUT WHAT A WONDERFUL marriage you'd have, husbands and wives, if every time you're together, you're like, honey, you're more important than me. And you actually mean it. Children, you're more important. 53:59 Brothers, sisters, you all are more important than me. My my my interests come last. After all of you have fulfilled all your interests, I can go. That's the attitude Jesus had, and that's humility. And if you walk that way and you say, 54:14 Lord, I realized there was at least five people I thought I was more important than that. Okay, that's a start. Let's go down. And you read those verses that he went down. He he he was equal with God. He said, nope, I'll step down. 54:29 He came um um to came as a man, then he took the form of a bond servant, and then he humbled himself to the point of death, and not just any death, the worst death. They reserved crucifixion for the absolute worst 54:48 criminals in that day. It was a painful way to die. Think about that, he just lowered, lowered, lowered. Oh, can I go a little bit lower? Sure. Haven't you gone low enough? Jesus. Jesus says, well, Father, is there any lower I can go? Death? Okay, 55:03 sure. I don't think we fully understand what it meant for Jesus to suffer death. He's God. Death is not even in his vocabulary. He didn't can't comprehend death, but he was willing to go experience death for us so that he could render 55:19 him powerless who held the power of us in in in fear of death. And then And then the Father says, "But actually, not just any death, like just die. That's bad enough, Jesus, but I want you to be crucified. And everybody to think, 55:33 'Yeah, see those three criminals there. I know what he did. I know what he did. I can imagine what the one in the middle did. He had to have been really bad for them to crucify him.'" Jesus says, "Yes." See how he thought of everybody as more 55:45 important? This is the way of humility. Um How do I stop feeling so spiritually dry in my life? Yeah, the secret is very simply to seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit. A spiritual person will never feel dry. Now, I want to be 56:01 the word feeling here is used. And I'm always careful when I use the word feeling cuz feelings come and go. There are times when I feel spiritually dry, and I just have to wake up and just say, "Well, am I actually spiritually 56:14 dry or not? Lord, you tell me." I'm not going to let my feelings dictate to me whether I am actually spiritually dry or not. You tell me, Lord. Have you filled me with the Holy Spirit? Why not? Can you fill me, Lord, now with 56:25 the Holy Spirit? And then whether my mouth is dry, my body is dry, my emotions are dry, it doesn't matter. My spirit is alive. So, be careful of those feelings. And you know, when it I've I'm sometimes asked similarly, "Well, I feel like I've left my first 56:40 love." Well, let's not use that word feeling in this context because feelings are emotions. That's in the soul. What's the reality? How do I know have I left my first love? Whether I feel like it or not, how can I know whether I have left 56:55 my first love? Jesus told us in John chapter 14. How do I know whether I am spiritually dry or not? How do I know whether I have left my first love or not? I don't want just the feeling because guess what? You know what would be worse? 57:12 Is feeling like you're spiritually alive, but actually not being. Is that worse? Because then you're really deceived. I feel great. Why? Because the music was really good today. And yeah, my I got a PROMOTION AT MY JOB. 57:24 EVERYTHING IS GREAT. I'M SPIRITUALLY ALIVE. YOU MAY NOT BE. What you are is emotionally excited. And you were stirred up by the fact that you they picked your favorite songs to sing today. But spiritually you're dry. You don't 57:40 even know it. And so the soul can be and can lead us astray. That's why be very careful about the music you listen to. Because those can give you a false sense of your spiritual condition. I I've fallen prey to that myself. As one who 57:54 loves music and leads music, I'm wary of it. And especially modern music distorts the emotions and gets you feeling all taken up with the presence of God and you really don't have the presence of God. The proof of that is how you live right 58:06 after you walk out of that meeting. You don't have the humility of Christ. So, how do I know whether I really am I'm dry, I'm really alive, spiritually fresh? How do I know I really love God, have my first love? He says, John 14:15, 58:22 "If you love me, it's very simple, you're obeying me." The greatest proof of your love of God, in fact the only proof of your love of God, is that you obey him. Whether you feel like it or not. The feelings can come and go, but you 58:35 obeyed God today. He He He convicted you about how you spoke to your spouse and so you went and apologized and set it right and you said, "Lord, fill me with your Holy Spirit so that I won't speak like that to her anymore." You were 58:47 convicted about how you used your eyes with lust in a particular situation and you didn't just kind of shrug it off. You said, "Lord, that's adultery. I don't want to look that way." You were convicted about how you had a 58:57 little bit of jealousy when somebody else was honored and you thought, "Well, why couldn't I have been honored?" You judged yourself and you obeyed me and refused that. If you obeyed God, God says, "I know you love me. You're obeying me. 59:11 That's it. Let the feelings come and go. So, judge your love of God simply by your obedience of him. And you say, "Well, Santos, I'm trying." I keep failing. He says, "Okay, good. Keep reading. I'll ask the Father and he'll give you the Holy Spirit to help 59:26 you." You want to obey? You want to prove your love for God by obeying him? He says, "I know you can't do it on your own. So, ask me for the Holy Spirit." And I I love this that before he asks us to ask for the Holy Spirit, which he does, 59:41 many times God says, "Ask for the Holy Spirit." And don't believe the lie of false preachers who say, "You don't have to ask for the baptism of the Holy Spirit." That is antichrist. I'll play Say it simply. If anybody's 59:53 ever told you that you don't have to ask for the baptism of the Holy Spirit, that is the spirit of the antichrist because Christ said, "You must ask." Luke 11, Matthew chapter 7. You read it many times. So, but before he says you 1:00:06 must ask, he says, "I will ask." I love that. He says, "You're going to ask, right? Make sure you do. But just know when you come to ask, I've already asked for you." "I will ask the Father and he will give you the Holy Spirit and I will baptize 1:00:21 you in the Holy Spirit." Um Okay. Uh how do I you know You talked a lot about doing God's will. How do I know what God's will in my life is? I'm scared I'm just going off of my own feelings and missing God's plan in my life. Yeah, um 1:00:40 I'll say a few verses about the will of God very briefly and you can meditate on them. Romans 12 verse two. Thank God that there is an answer for everything in the word of God. If you seek to know God and know him through his word and through the person 1:00:56 of Jesus, you will find an answer for every question in the word of God. Romans 12, it says first of all, "Don't be conformed." No, verse one. "Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, present your bodies as a living and 1:01:09 holy sacrifice acceptable to God. This is true worship. This is your spiritual service of worship. So, give your body Well, we're seeking about how to know what God's will is. Present your body first of all. Say, "Lord, my body is a living sacrifice." 1:01:24 Which means what? It sounds all fine and dandy. You know, you can write a song about give me to be a holy sacrifice for you and all that. You can kind of just feel nice and emotional. But then God takes you through a trial 1:01:38 and have you actually pictured your life on the altar and somebody lighting a match to it and setting it on flame? That's what you actually said when you said a living and holy sacrifice. God said, "You asked me to do it. You sang 1:01:51 so beautifully on Sunday morning about you being a holy sacrifice. Make me thy fuel of flame of God." But then when I actually lit the flame to it, you panicked and said, "Lord, why?" He says, "I'm actually going to do it. 1:02:03 Okay, Lord, I trust you. My body is a living sacrifice." This is worship. It's pleasing to the Lord. And don't be conformed to the world. Turn off that social media. Quit the doom scrolling. Open your Bible. And be but be transformed by the 1:02:22 renewing of your mind. So that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. So, the reason that you probably don't know God's will is because you're busy getting all this information from the 1:02:36 world. Whether it's fake news or real news. None of it's real news. This is the only real news that exists. You know that. Or social media, or friends, co-workers, AI this, AI that. It's going to be some other AI I that is going to come. It's 1:02:52 always I. The I is behind it, whatever it is. I refuses to bow. There's going to be some other I that will come until Jesus comes and he will be done with all the I's. And it will be only him who remains. So, uh 1:03:09 whether it's AI or your I, it let it let it die. But, um don't be conformed to the world. Transform. Let your mind be renewed. Every day say, "Lord, give me that new mind. I don't want to be shaped." Now, please understand, I use AI for my work. 1:03:28 I have to, and it's very useful. Use it in moderation. Be wise. But, just know there's a kingdom coming that is far greater than all of this. You don't have to panic about what you see in the world. But, don't be trans- 1:03:40 don't be conformed to the world. No, if if you you should know that if the world is operating a certain way, you're going to be different. You're supposed TO BE DIFFERENT. YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO DRESS A little differently. Your speech is supposed to sound a 1:03:54 little bit different because you're not being conformed to the world. And that's happening by your mind being renewed. And that's changing you, and that's how you will prove what the will of God is. What does this look like practically? 1:04:07 And I love this uh another practical advice we're given 1 Thessalonians chapter 5. I give you a few instructions of how 1:04:27 you can prove the will of God is. Just make this part of your life. 1 Corinthians chapter 5, verse 11. Encourage somebody today. Do you want to know what God's will is? Very plainly here. Find somebody to encourage. Doesn't say preach a sermon. 1:04:45 Doesn't say lead the singing or be an elder in a church. Just encourage somebody. Sit down and spend time with them. Find somebody that looks like they could need encouragement. Talk to them for even 10 minutes. You've That's the will of God. See, 1:05:00 because he's going to say later on in verse uh the end of verse 18, "This is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." The last line of verse 18. I just backed up the whole sentence say, "Let's look at what all What is this?" 1:05:13 What he said before, verse 11. Find somebody to encourage. Verse 12. Appreciate your elders. Appreciate your elders, those who labor among you. And um esteem them very highly in love because 1:05:33 of their work. I hope you're doing that. I hope you esteem your elders, whichever local church God has placed you in. Esteem means you you hold them in high regard. You're not sitting there sending them critical emails and criticizing their 1:05:46 work, backbiting, slandering them behind their back, having secret meetings to like, "Oh, the elders like this, like that." Esteem them. It's God's will for you. Three, >> [clears throat] >> um live in peace with everybody, the end 1:06:01 of verse 13. Make sure that at least as it lies with you, Romans 12 says, live in peace with anybody. If you need to set something right with somebody, you need to need to return some money that you stole or borrowed, return it. Live at peace with 1:06:13 everybody. Verse That's the end of verse 13. Four, if there's unruly, admonish them. Especially children, if your children are unruly, admonish them. Teach them. Don't let their bad behavior If you see they're speaking disrespectfully to elders, 1:06:30 don't just shrug it, "Oh, that's just how they are." No, they're growing up in a society where they're being taught that it doesn't matter how they speak. Admonish them. And in the same time, encourage the fainthearted and help the weak. Be 1:06:41 patient with everyone. Do it with patience. Five, never repay evil for evil. Always seek after that which is good for one another. If somebody does some harm to you, don't repay that evil. You know how people repay evil for evil? 1:06:58 I don't think we would ever somebody does evil If somebody punches me, I'm not going to go punch him back. But you know how I will repay that evil? I will make sure and I go tell a bunch of other people about what he did to me. 1:07:08 See that repaying evil for evil? Gossip is as much an evil as the first thing that that the the a lot of other evil that's done. Don't repay evil with evil. Just let it die. So, 1:07:25 16, rejoice always. 17, pray always. Throughout the day, be praying, praying, praying. 18, give thanks always. This is God's will. 1:07:43 It's right there in our Bibles. Is it okay, another question for a Christian to spend money on doing trivial things such as hair implantation? Is that not being faithful in money matters? Or is that being unfaithful in money 1:07:56 matters, I think is the question. Um, you know, the matter of money, we're told, you can read in 1 Timothy 6, that God has given us freely all things to enjoy. And um, if God has given you, as long as you can do it, let's read I'll show you that 1:08:10 verse, verse 17. See, somebody may have the money to do that. You could say, well, I don't know about hair implantation, what exactly that that that what all that involves, or how much the cost is or anything like that. And 1:08:22 the Bible doesn't give us prescription, well, make sure you don't spend more than this. See, that just depends on your income. And if God has blessed you with the ability to afford two cars, and somebody else can only afford one, the 1:08:34 person who has only one shouldn't judge the person who has two. God has blessed him with that. He He may need two. He's answerable to God. Every one of us is answerable to God for how we use our money. We're not answerable to each 1:08:45 other, and we're not living in a communal society where or where it's like socialism. Well, make sure everybody in the church, in fact, somebody wrote to us once in the church. He's like, I I noticed that some of you are This is somebody who was watching us 1:08:58 from online, I think. I noticed that some of you are richer than others. I'm wondering, how did he know that? Maybe like somewhere different color shirts, or I I don't know, but maybe he knows what we do for a living. And I don't 1:09:09 know who this person was. But he says, that's not the church. Like everybody should have the same amount of money. That's socialism. That's not Christianity. And so, don't don't believe that we should all live by the same standard. And if if you have the 1:09:22 freedom to spend money without getting into debt, and being wise about it and recognizing that it's God's money, not yours, even though it sits in your name in the bank account, and even though you the check was given to you, it's God's money 1:09:36 that he allowed you to have. And anything you spend, you do it and say, "Lord, I think I'd like to do this. Like to buy this shirt or like to buy that house or like to buy this car or get the hair implantation or what whatever else 1:09:47 it might be, do it as unto the Lord." But here it says in verse 17, "Instruct those who are rich in this present world." And guess what? Every one of us is rich. You want real poverty. You might think you're poor, but you you go to some of 1:10:02 the other places in the world, including in this country, actually, you can see real poverty. Certainly in other parts of the world. So, we're all rich. And so, all of us, this instruction is for us, don't be conceited. 1:10:15 Don't fix your hope on the uncertainty of riches, but fix your hope on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy. So, he says, "You have the money to do it and you can do it without getting to debt. You talk to your spouse about it, 1:10:31 if you have if you're married, and you pray about it, and you have a clear conscience about buying that thing, go ahead, brother. Go ahead, sister. Why not? Don't let anybody else judge you over whether they should have or shouldn't not. Well, 1:10:42 think of all the starving people around the world. Well, that's really endless. I mean, we should all really give up most of our money if we live by that principle. So, it's hypocritical to criticize, "Well, I'm going to judge you 1:10:53 for your hair implantation, but I'm okay with going out to eat a fancy meal because I love good food." It's So, don't don't let other people judge you for it. He He's given us all things to enjoy. Instruct them to do good, 1:11:07 to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future. And I've seen that some of the people who you could easily criticize for how they spend on what they 1:11:23 use for their family are some of the most generous people. But they do it in secret. Nobody knows that before they bought that second car, they gave a lot of money to somebody else that was really in need. Let God be the judge. So, 1:11:37 um I think it was John Wesley used to say, "Earn as much as you can, save as give save as much as you can, give as much as you can." So, if they offer you a promotion, sure, take it. Why not? At your job. For what? To save and to give. 1:11:53 Um a friend does not send her kids to the water park or swimming pools to hang out fearing exposure to modest clothing. I think that's very wise and perhaps influence of the culture here. I've been wondering if that is an extreme way to 1:12:05 protect the child or something that I should consider doing with my kids. That's a question that only you can answer. I mean, for example, some parents feel that the only way they are comfortable schooling their children is through home 1:12:16 school. Others may feel comfortable sending them to charter schools now where it's a little bit more controlled or private schools or even public schools. I mean, there's nothing in scripture that says that one is right and one is not. You 1:12:29 decide. And that's what Megan and I decided for our children that it was different for each of them, too. Some of them we felt like, "Well, I think they'll be able to manage it." Not not necessarily just that they're more 1:12:39 spiritual or anything, but just their temperament and their interests and things like that. Um so, it's it's like that that if if I do think it's sad that even in our water parks and swimming pools and making a life out of it to talk 1:12:53 about that, too. Sometimes we just like, "Nah, it's not worth going." Um because it's just that even even the young girls now are being are dressing so immodestly, putting temptation in front of uh our children. So, be mindful 1:13:06 of it and you pray about it and seek the Lord and say, "Lord, do you think we should do this? If not, let's just go find a river or something or get in the bathtub." It's from there. But, it's not it's not extreme. I would say that, but 1:13:21 it's not necessarily the right answer, either. It depends. You seek the Lord. You say and and if the Lord gives you freedom to go to the park, be watchful. I mean, talk to your children, I would say. We talk to our boys especially, but 1:13:33 to all our children, whenever we're out in public and really it's getting to the point now where it's acceptable even in the grocery stores for young girls and women to walk around mostly naked. It's just what the society's come to. So, you can almost 1:13:46 can't go anywhere. We can't just lock ourselves up in the in in our in our houses and never go outside, right? So, just recognize that the world is passing away and all that is in it. The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, the boastful pride of 1:13:59 life. It's just going to get worse. And just staying away from the swimming pool, while that might be wise if you feel it is the right thing to do is not the ultimate answer. We must teach our children, "Flee youthful lust. Turn your 1:14:11 eye away. If it's a billboard, if it's a commercial, when you're out in the airport or at a restaurant, if it's a woman that's walking by, turn away. Teach them that." It will lead to uh sin. It will lead to shame. It will lead 1:14:25 to guilt. It will lead to addiction. It will lead to all kinds of bad Have you ever behavior? Turn away. So, teach them that. And protect them as much as you can. So, most importantly, teach your children. And that way because the time's going to 1:14:39 come when suddenly they're going to be like, "Whoa, I didn't realize you could dress like that." Then what are they going to do? Prepare them. Instill in them a fear of God that they know, "Whether dad and mom catch me or not, I don't want to look at 1:14:52 that. I want to turn away." Uh I understand why we need to commit to the local church. Oh, okay, I did that already. How can we maintain genuine unity in the church when believers have different opinions, personalities, and 1:15:06 spiritual convictions without compromising biblical truth? I I think I talked about that, too. Our unity is based on humility. I really believe that if we really go this way of humility, the Holy Spirit will knit us See, you unity is something you can't 1:15:19 produce. If you produce it, going back to the message in the morning, it's not real unity. It'll fade. You may be able to get along with each other for like 5 years, 10 years, maybe 20 years, maybe even 30 years, but at some point it's 1:15:31 going to fade. You're going to somehow something's going to come up and you're going to realize ah, we weren't really one. Oneness comes through humility. The one mind we want to have is the mind of Christ, which is the mind of humility. 1:15:44 And I'll tell you this, two brothers that are constantly trying to go down in humility will be one. A husband and wife that are constantly trying to go down in humility will be one. Two sisters, if you're both in competition to be 1:15:59 uh to treat each others with with uh as more important, you will be one. The Holy Spirit will do that. So, that's the secret of humility. Um I have a friend who recently started reevaluating his faith. Um with the Lord and has taken an interest 1:16:19 in Catholicism, saying that he respects how much reverence there is for God. As someone who did not grow up Catholic or having a knowledge of them, is Catholicism something to be wary of? Um yeah, I think there are some people who 1:16:30 are turning to Catholicism because of the outward appearance of reverence. I'm not here to criticize any denomination or anything like that, but don't be fooled by what looks like reverence on the outside. True reverence 1:16:43 for God is on the inside. It's a way of thinking. It is a fear of God that causes me to turn away from sin. And if if you if the person finds that, you know, reverence is not you sit and you meditate and you think about the 1:16:56 sufferings of Christ and you say some prayers and and all that, that's not reverence. That's outside. Because you you could do that and go right out and sin. But a reverence for God, now if that comes from quietness and 1:17:07 meditation, true meditation, I'm not talking about Eastern meditation, but meditating on God's word, spending time in prayer, meditating on the cross. I meditate on the cross and I get a greater reverence for God. Cuz I realize 1:17:19 what Jesus had to go through for me. It causes me to hate sin more. True reverence for God will cause you to hate sin. And so, whatever denomination that is, I don't care. If what they call reverence for God is causing them to live more 1:17:33 holy lives, where they're more loving, and they're more joyful, pure with their speech and their eyes, humble in how they treat one another, and not arrogant and boastful. Um and trusting Christ fully. That is 1:17:52 one of the problems with the Catholic teaching is that and what Martin Luther had to expose is that justification comes by faith in Christ alone, not in my works. So, if if if somebody I and and again, they could be sitting in that 1:18:06 denomination, but they truly believe in justification by faith in Jesus Christ. Dad spoke on that to the local church here last week. Very important message. I hope you listen to it. Listen to it again. Remember that. In all our pursuit 1:18:19 of holiness, we must never forget that our acceptance before God as much as I'm seeking to be sanctified and become like Christ is purely because Christ called me justified. That's it. God calls me justified because of Christ's righteousness. Never forget 1:18:35 that. No, so that So, I don't know what it means to when it says they've they've gone to Catholicism, if it means that yes, you need to do these works to be accepted before God, that's false teaching. Plain and simple. But so, I don't know how you can have a 1:18:48 reverence for God which somehow leaves you with a sense of I earned my righteousness because of my prayers or my saying this or my doing that. Or teachings that after death, there is a holding place, not what the Bible says 1:19:01 where there's death and then judgment. Period. So, there's a lot of other things that that come along with different denominations, whatever they might be, and um but true reverence is something on the inside. And the proof of that is um 1:19:16 mostly seen in uh hatred for sin. 1 Corinthians 7:7 says one translation states Paul had the gift of singleness. Does that gift mean keep a man from lusting? How does one know if they have that gift? He says he wished all men were 1:19:32 like him in the matter of self-control. Yeah, Paul did say that. He wished all men were like him in that matter of self-control, but it does not say that um does not keep a man from lusting. Because two people that come to my mind 1:19:48 immediately, the two most famous people that had the gift I don't like to use the word gift even though that is used in some translations. I would say the calling. The calling of being single because as a married person I hate to call being 1:20:00 single a gift, which is it's good God calls certain ones um to be single, but that's a calling. God may call certain ones as a calling and you could say yes it's a gift in that sense, but the calling two people that I think of 1:20:12 that come to my mind who God called to be single were Jesus and Paul. Paul the Apostle in the new covenant. Um and I don't know if well, I do know that both of them battled with lust. Had to fight the temptation of lust. Paul says in 1 1:20:27 Corinthians 7, I found all kinds of lusting within me. So Paul, even though he was called he's the one who said I was called to be single, clearly had to fight the battle of lust. Jesus was tempted in all points as we are Hebrews 4 says, yet without 1:20:41 sin. So Jesus was also tempted to lust. Otherwise he couldn't be an example for me who am tempted to lust. For all of us men and women perhaps were tempted to lust, Jesus had to be an example for us. So singleness even if 1:20:53 God calls you to be single, which he does call some, I would say it's exception. A rare exception that God calls some to be single. Um if he does call, it doesn't take away the temptation to lust. That'll still be there. But and again, I don't have the 1:21:09 calling of singleness so I don't know what that's like. I would think and this is just my opinion that God will take away the desire for marriage. The temptation to lust will still be there. I mean even marriage doesn't solve that problem. 1:21:22 Married people lust all the time. So marriage or singleness doesn't take away the temptation to lust. But I think, my opinion is that that desire for marriage is taken away and that is a confirmation that God might have called somebody to 1:21:39 to be single. That that might be calling. So if you find that the desire for marriage is gone and not that it's, you know, unfortunately in the world it's become popular to not want to get married. And I'm not talking about that, but 1:21:49 where it's clear that God you set me apart for a specific ministry, for a specific purpose that that will be fulfilled if I'm not married. Okay. Maybe. I would still suggest that you seek counsel from godly men, from the elders and others who can guide 1:22:06 you specifically in that matter if you feel like you have the calling of being single. Um Uh please clarify one question. Uh David is described in the Bible as a man after God's own heart. But there were many other prophets and people in 1:22:21 the Bible who seemed to live more righteous lives. So, what made David different? Yeah, we actually talked about it there this morning. That he was a man after God's own heart. Why was David specifically called a man after God's? Yeah, I think 1:22:32 God knew that that question was there, so he had me answer it earlier. Can you please help me to understand this Bible verse, Psalm 85: 10 and 11. Okay, let's read that. Psalm 85 verses 10 and 11 say this talks about mercy and justice 1:22:51 meeting. And I believe that's it's referring to Calvary. Uh we all know this that wonderful hymn we sing um There is love um Here's love wide as the ocean. I think in that song it says, God's uh kindness and justice meet 1:23:10 at Calvary. I believe that's what this is referring to. So, it says um Verse Let's read from verse seven. The question mentioned verse 10 and 11. Um Verse seven, "Show us your kindness, oh Lord, and grant us your salvation. I 1:23:29 will hear what God the Lord will say, for he will speak peace to his people, to his godly ones. But let them not turn back to folly. Surely his salvation is near to those who fear him, that glory may dwell in our land." See that? 1:23:45 The purpose here, the reason I wanted to go back and read those verses is because he's talking about God's purpose was that he wants his glory to be in our midst, his presence. He says, like he said, "I want to be your I will be your God. I will walk in 1:23:58 your midst. I will you will be my people. I will be a father to them." God wants to be here. But in order for that to be here, he must uphold his justice. His purity. This must be a pure God cannot walk here where there's impurity 1:24:14 that's allowed to live. Heaven is the purest place. And in order for us to be able to be there with him and to to be in his presence constantly, that that sin must be removed. That's God's justice. That glory may dwell in our land, loving 1:24:29 kindness and truth. Well, some translations say faithfulness. This is the the truth or the faithfulness of God. Loving kindness and truth have met together. That means before that, you know, if you were under the Old Testament, although I 1:24:45 believe God was a very loving God. A lot of people think, "Well, the old covenant God is kind of a mean God." Absolutely not. He didn't change suddenly. He's always been loving and kind. You the Old Testament, David knew it. Your mercies endure 1:25:00 forever. The the we read. And so, God has always been, but we got to see the evidence of it. Previously, we thought, "Well, if I sin, I immediately get punished. Oh, I committed adultery, got stoned. I stole, so something bad happened." It was this 1:25:14 punishment uh mentality. But that was to teach us the fear of the Lord. But when Jesus came and Calvary, we see that God was able to uphold his justice to the highest degree. Which means that if you lusted with your eyes, you 1:25:29 deserve to be stoned to death. Well, how about that? So, he said, you you know, okay, in the Old Testament, if you committed adultery, you were stoned. I'm saying, you lusted with your eyes, not just stoned, you'll go to hell. 1:25:41 Woah. But at the same time, he upholds his loving kindness. and says, "You lusted, didn't you? You should go to hell, right? You agree that's my justice, but I'm going to offer you mercy." That's what he's showing us in this 1:25:55 verse that at Calvary, not only was the wrath of God against sin fully spent, his mercy was also fully poured out. God put all of his wrath against sin on Jesus. All of his anger because it says in 2 1:26:13 Corinthians 5 that he became sin. Jesus didn't have my sin on him. HE BECAME MY SIN. And God hates sin. And the anger of God against sin was unleashed in all its fury on Jesus on Calvary. To show me just how just God is. And God 1:26:31 says, "That sin, Santosh, I know you you just kind of shrugged it off, but it deserves the harshest punishment. And I've got to send it on somebody. I'm going to send it on my own son, Jesus, so that you can go free. So that you can 1:26:46 receive mercy." That's what it's saying here when loving kindness and truth have met together, righteousness the not just righteousness, RIGHTEOUSNESS, THE HOLINESS OF GOD WAS FAR HIGHER THAN we could ever imagine, and peace 1:27:04 have kissed each other. Truth springs from the earth and righteousness looks down from heaven. It's like the truth says, "I'm deserving of of of of punishment." Righteousness looks down from heaven. And at Calvary, it's 1:27:18 this beautiful meeting together. Romans chapter 5 says, "Therefore, you know what? Let's read the last part of verse 4 or chapter 4. 1:27:38 Verse 25. Romans 4:25. He who was delivered over because of our transgression." What is delivered over? Here, have at him? Devil, beat him. Push the crown of thorns on him, spit on him. Kick him, make fun of him. 1:27:57 Pierce his hands with the nails. How about him? Delivered over. God giving up his son for Jesus to his son for the devil to have at him as it were. And can can you imagine what delight Satan had as they saw as he saw the soldiers 1:28:14 beating Jesus, mocking him, and all that. Devil hates God. He rebelled against God. And this was his like, "I get to get back at God." Or so he thought. He who delivered over him over because of our transgressions and was raised 1:28:29 because of our justification. Therefore, since you have been justified by faith, you have peace with God. You see how what it cost God. This is where that the righteousness of God, he cannot lower his standard. He would be not God 1:28:47 if he said, "Oh, you feel bad about your sin, fine. Okay, excused." There's no excusing sin. That would not be a just God if he excused sin. Please know, your sin has not been excused. It has been forgiven, and it cost something for it to be 1:29:01 forgiven. Somebody had to take the punishment. It's not you got the answer wrong, but let's just pretend I'll give you credit for it anyway. No, no, no, no, no. Somebody had to get the right answer and had to take the punishment 1:29:12 for your wrong answer, and that was Jesus Christ. And the full the the punishment for your sin has been fulfilled. I hope that brings you hope. The punishment for your sin has been met. That's why Jesus died. And he's risen now. 1:29:28 So, we have peace with God. That's where those 85:10 says that we have peace. Peace and justice have met. That's a beautiful passage, Psalm 85. Is anger in heaven? I think we know the answer to that. Well, it does talk about God being 1:29:42 angry, but that's a different type of anger. Anger that is self-seeking, anger that defends itself, anger that is how dare you do this to me. That's not in heaven at all because that's not a Christ. But anger against the poor who are taken 1:29:57 advantage of, anger against those who are making money in the name of Jesus Christ, that's in heaven because that's what we saw when heaven came down to earth. When Jesus came to this earth, he brought heaven down and he showed us in 1:30:09 the temple twice, at the beginning of his ministry and at the end, what heaven looked like. God hates those who try to make money in the name of religion. Oh, that more Christians were like that. That's how we know we're getting closer 1:30:21 to heaven. Last question, does God favor men over women? >> [laughter] >> You know, I don't want to laugh at that question. It can seem like that perhaps, but that's not true at all. So, God has God has given a very specific calling to men and a very 1:30:39 specific calling to women. Very, very specific. In fact, I've talked about the fact that women are called to cover their heads in the meetings as the ones who, you know, who sisters, when you cover your head during prayer or 1:30:52 prophesy, prophecy, you're covering us. It says that the glory of man is the woman. And when you cover your head because your your glory is is is represented The glory of woman is the man. That's what I meant to say. Right? 1:31:07 And so, when you cover your glory, which is your hair, you're covering us, all of us. And the glory of man is Christ. That's why men should not have their heads covered because Christ is just a picture. It's just a symbol. That when my head is 1:31:22 uncovered, when I'm praying or prophesy, it's a picture. It's not actually, but it's a picture of Christ. It's a symbol of Christ being magnified in the church. And when women cover their heads when they pray or prophesy, they're covering 1:31:35 all of us, men and women alike. ALL OF MANKIND is being covered. If I gave you a choice between preaching a message or showing the glory of Christ in the church, which would you pick? I know what I would. I'd say, "Lord, let 1:31:48 me choose Let me Let me be a part of the ministry that magnifies the glory of Christ." And he tells you, dear sisters, you can do that by that simple act of covering your head when you pray or prophesy. My glory will be manifest because all 1:32:02 the other glories will be hidden away, the glory of men and women, the glory of all of mankind is hidden when sisters cover their heads during prayer and prophesy prophecy. That's the glory of magnifying that's the ministry of magnifying Christ's 1:32:17 glory in the church. And the devil has twisted it into something like God hates you women like and those oppressive men who want to suppress you and put that thing on your head. We've even had women who come to church, I ain't putting that thing on 1:32:30 my head. I'm not here to tell people what to put on their head or not, but I want the glory of Christ in the church. And oh that we could see it more clearly how God has given us these simple acts, little acts that are small, 1:32:46 a small act of obedience, if we could see what it's doing in the spiritual realm, and the eternal reward that we're going to reap through that. Uh I think it'd be amazing. I just realized that there was another Let me see. 1:33:00 Okay, somebody asked am I convinced Solomon's being in hell? Can you share more about that conviction? I talked this follow-up on today's message. Now, I I'm not the one who decides who's in hell and who's not. That's not me and 1:33:10 it'll never be me. If If Solomon is in heaven, I would rejoice. But what I'm the reason I I'm not afraid ashamed to say that is because there is a part of us that wants to think, "Well, he was a good guy for the most part." 1:33:22 Because I think I'm a good guy for the most part and I want God to overlook the end of my life. You read the end of Solomon's life. To me it sounds exactly like the end of Judas Iscariot's life. If I said that Judas Iscariot was in hell, I don't 1:33:35 think anybody would have any question about that. But we like to think that Solomon, you know, like he shouldn't have married those women and the end of your life is more important than how you begin. That's the bottom line. 1:33:48 And Solomon's not here to defend himself so I can't say one way or the other. I I would love I I I want more of the heart of God. God is not willing that any should perish. Second Peter 3 tells us but that all should be in heaven. All should come to 1:34:02 know of the knowledge of salvation. I wish with all my heart that Solomon was in heaven. And I'm not the one who gets to decide if he is or not. I don't know. But I according to what I read in scripture, there's as much evidence in scripture 1:34:14 that Solomon is in hell as there is that Judas Iscariot is in hell. Both of them started well and both of them ended badly. And God was angry with him you read in Second First Chronicles. God was angry with him. What do you say about somebody who at 1:34:29 the end of his life God is angry with him? Oh yeah, I'm angry with you but sure come to heaven. Not my Bible. Not the God I know. Uh at some points you mentioned in your message today doing even doing God's work with a sincere heart is not enough. 1:34:42 How would you know if it is God's work or yours? How would you differentiate it? I think again if you listen to that message, I hope that I communicated somewhere clearly somewhat clearly but ask God to give you that revelation that it must begin with 1:34:54 God and ultimately it's this. The work of God begins by the power of the Holy Spirit. It's think about how you know like um let's say Joseph and Mary. Let's take a hypothetical situation. They said let's God wants us to produce the 1:35:09 the son of God. Let's try. Let's let's sincerely try to produce the son of God. Would that have been acceptable to God? No. But the Holy Spirit came supernaturally. I hear of people who are trying to form church groups and 1:35:21 they're struggling and we meet and we don't know if is it church and it's like sometimes it's it's it's fragile and I say just seek God for the power of the Holy Spirit. And in the same way that the Holy Spirit came upon Mary and she produced and and 1:35:34 and the Holy Spirit produced in her the son of God, you meet and you study and you spend time in prayer especially more than Bible study spend time IN PRAYER CRY OUT FOR THE POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT SEEK GOD SEEK GOD SEEK GOD. 1:35:48 And if it is God's will for that group to be a local expression of his body, he will do it. That's how he's done it in every place. That's how he'll do it. Our effort cannot produce it. As much as you have the right doctrine and you invite 1:36:05 you pray play pray play the right teachings and you invite you come to the conferences and you you do the right format and you cover your head and you do this and do that. That's not going to produce the church. The Holy Spirit 1:36:17 alone can do it. So, if you haven't heard it enough, I hope you'll hear it much this weekend. Seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Oh, that you would really do that. Brothers, sisters, children, young people, pray. Spend 1:36:30 time. That's my constant prayer throughout the day. Lord, I want a greater anointing. I know you've given me the Holy Spirit. I have an assurance of it, but I want more of your power. I want more authority in my life. I want 1:36:42 more discernment. I want more wisdom. Now, if you're satisfied with the quality of life that you have, then sure, don't seek for the baptism of the Holy Spirit because you're content to live that defeated life. But, I hope 1:36:53 none of you are there. Just because you have a reputation that you're such a holy man or a holy woman, seek for the power of the Holy Spirit. Absolutely. Again, I'll say it, seek for the power of the Holy Spirit. And another question about Solomon in 1:37:05 hell. Um Yes, if Jesus Jesus it says Jesus compared himself to Solomon. He said somebody greater than Solomon is here. He was using an analogy uh that if this Queen of Sheba would come all the way to just hear about some earthly man 1:37:23 named Solomon, who I believe personally that Jesus was implying and he's not even in heaven. How much more you when the son of God himself comes? So, he's using an opposite analogy there. If the Queen of Sheba would come all the way for Solomon 1:37:38 and you have someone greater than Solomon here, why wouldn't you? So, um again, don't take what I said about Solomon too seriously, but I will say this, if there is in you deep down some sense of well, Lord, I've been pretty good. Can you overlook the fact 1:37:56 that I'm compromising right now? I want to tell you in the name of Jesus, I really mean it, you will end up in hell. The end of your life. Jesus said, "He who endures to the end will be saved." And I'm not here to scare you or to somehow convince you 1:38:11 that you're not that you're going to hell tonight or anything like that. But let's live in the fear of the Lord, brothers, sisters. The times are short. Jesus is coming very soon. And when the devil knows that his time is short, he's 1:38:22 going to increase his activity. He's going to increase the deception. And he's going to convince you that somehow you can be like Solomon and get to the presence of the Lord. If that's there in your heart, I WANT TO SHAKE YOU OUT OF 1:38:32 that deception and show you that we must finish well. But we have a God who is able to. He who began the good work is able to finish it. Heavenly Father, I pray that you will help us, Lord, to know your will and to know you 1:38:49 in all these things. We believe you'll help us through your spirit in Jesus' name. Amen. Thank you. >> Thank God for all that we heard. Uh let's give one
