8:23 story about song. We're just going to go for whatever. >> Is this monitor on also? Monitor is on. Okay. Children, if you're all here, if you're in the atrium, come on in. A 8:42 couple minutes behind. Children, you can come up on stage. Let's just stay on the first row on the on the and you can come and stand. Uh if a few adults can help them get lined up. You can come and stand and face the face your parents. We're going 8:58 to sing some songs. Uh so you can get up on stage. Just stand in front of the table and let's not touch the table. [music] Children who are uh even little children can come up for the songs but parents just keep an eye on them if they are 9:18 [music] >> [music] [music] 9:47 >> Are you excited? [music] >> [music] [music] >> Xavier, can you see Ryan's uh monitor? 10:13 [music] >> If there are any children [music] still finding their way, come on up. Uh let's see you stand. And um [music] so parents, if you're comfortable with your children being up, please have them 10:33 come. And if you think they might not be able to stay up here for too long, just stay nearby so you can keep an eye on them. And uh it'll be a little chaotic. I recognize that. [music] We're okay with chaos. Um but as much as you parents are able 10:50 to help your children [music] to not be a distraction to others. [music] >> Okay, children, can I have you be quiet for a moment? Everybody quiet. If you can hear my voice clap once, you can 11:09 hear my voice clap twice. Three times. Always works. You know who I learned that from? [music] Mr. Josh Magcguire who's walking in. He taught me how to get people's attention. It's a military thing, I think. Okay, children, I want 11:23 you to do something very quietly. Slowly turn around and see who's behind you. If they are shorter than you, let them come in front. Turn around. If there's somebody behind you and they're shorter than you, have them come in front. If 11:39 they're shorter, if they're taller than you, then it's okay. Stay where [music] you are. All right, I think we're all set. Um, okay children, let's just sing this chorus to start to warm up our voices. I want you all to sing loud. 11:49 [music] So, um, sing from your heart. Jesus [singing] son [music] for [singing] the Bible tells [music] me so little [singing] 12:06 ones to him belong. They are [singing and music] weak but he is strong. Yes, [singing and music] Jesus loves me. [music] Yes, Jesus [singing] 12:26 loves me. [music] >> Yes, Jesus [singing] loves me. The Bible [singing] tells me. [music] >> Okay, I'm gonna sing a new one. Maybe 12:44 you could turn up my mic a little. Uh, and I don't know if I'm hearing in my monitor yet. Maybe you can just help me with that back there. Check, check, check, check. Is my mic on? [music] Okay. Still not hearing myself 13:02 as clearly. Oh, there we go. Okay. Okay, children. Here's one. You'll see the words up on there on that screen if you're not sure about it. Most of the RLCF folks or if you've been here for a few conferences, we will you'll know 13:12 [music] these songs. So, here's one we're going to sing now. In the chorus, we're going to have the uh the boys will sing. If you [music] skip to the chorus slide, it says, "Because your love is better, better than life." The boys will 13:26 sing that first. Are we able to pull up that slide? [music] Because your love is better. Better than life. There we go. Okay. [music] So, the boys will sing because your love is better than life. And then the girls will follow and 13:38 brother Ryan and [music] brother Allan will help you sing. So you follow there lead and then that's just for that first line. And in the second line, second chorus, [music] we'll sing. And in your name, if you could go to that slide, and 13:50 in your name I lift up. Lift up my hands. [music] And we're all going to lift our hands together when we sing that. Here we go. Let's let's sing. As long [music] as I live. This is from Psalm 63. As long as I [singing] live, 14:01 as long [music] as I live, I will praise you. I will [singing] praise you. As long as [music] I live, as long as I live, I will praise you. I'll sing it again. As long as I live, I [music] will praise you. As long as [singing] I live, 14:17 as long as I live, I [music] will praise you. I will praise [singing] you. As long as [music] I live, as long as I live, I will praise you. Because your love is better, boys. [music] Because your love [singing] is better. 14:35 Here we go, girls. Cuz [music] your love is better, better than [singing] life. >> Your love is better than life. My lips [singing and music] will glorify you. As long as [music and singing] I live, 14:51 as long as I live, I will love you. I will love you. [music] As long as I [singing] live, as long as I live, I will love you. [music] Sing it again. As long as I live, I will love you. As long as I live, [singing] as long as [music] I live, I will love you. 15:10 I will love [singing] you. As long as [music] I live, as long as I live, I will love up love you. In your [singing] name, I lift up. In your name, [music] I lift up. All right, we can't sing about lifting up my hands and 15:26 not actually lifting our hands. So, children, let's lift our hands up. I know this is something a lot of adults struggle with, but it's good for you to learn at a young age it's okay to lift your hands because God said so. And then 15:37 when you get to be our age, you'll have no problem lifting your hands high. Let's lift it high. Lift up all your children. Let's lift our hands and let's sing. And in your name I lift up. In your [music] name [singing] I lift up. 15:50 Lift up my hands. In your name [music and singing] in your name I lift up my hands. >> [music] >> My lips [singing] will glorify you. As [music] long as I live, [singing] as long as I live, I will serve you. I will 16:10 serve you. As long as I live, [music and singing] as long as I live, I will serve you. [music] And in your name, I lift up. And in your [singing] name, I lift up. Lift up my hands. Lift up my hands. In [music and singing] 16:27 your name I'll lift up my hands. My lips will glory by [singing and music] you. As long as I live. As [singing] long as I live, I [music] will serve you. I will serve you. As long as I [singing] live. 16:44 As long as I live, I will serve. [music] I will love you. I will [singing] love you. I will praise you. I will praise [music] you. >> Sometime I want you children [music] to go back and find your Bible and look up 17:04 Psalm 63. Read it in your own Bible and you'll know this is [music] exactly what's there God told us to do. Here's another one. This is from Matthew 18. You know, we believe Jesus is here. Children, I know if you realize [music] 17:16 that Jesus is here in this room. you listen carefully and you maybe even close your eyes. Jesus [music] said, "If two of you," and there's way more than two of us here. He said, "If even two or three of you are gathered in [music] my 17:30 name, you gather truly in the name of Jesus, I'll come." And when at least two of us, and there was more than that, decided we were going to gather in Jesus' name today. [music] Jesus said, "I'm going to come to this meeting." 17:41 That's the best meeting you can ever go to is one where Jesus [music] is. That's what this next song sings. tells us about Matthew 18:20. Where two [music] or three are [singing] gathered in my name together in [music] my name, there I 17:59 [singing] am. Where two [music] or three [singing] are gathered in my name, where [music and singing] I am, there I am in the [singing and music] midst of 18:18 >> very simple chorus. RLCF children, I want you to sing extra loud so your neighbors can learn [music] it and children. Let's sing loud. Where two or three [singing and music] are gathered in my name, together in [singing] my name, there I 18:36 am. Where [music] two or [singing] three are gathered in [music] my name, there [singing] I am. There I am in the [music and singing] midst 18:53 of them. Okay, here's another [music] one. This is from 1 John 4. Children, we are teaching you some songs [music] that may not be as familiar to you, but hopefully you'll learn them. You'll go back and sing them at [music] home. This is from 19:11 1 John 4:1 19. You know, one of the questions one of you asked, I'm [music] so glad you asked it. Maybe you'll hear the answer also. Um, why do why do we love God? I think that's a question somebody asked. Here's an answer. It's right there in the 19:27 Bible. 1 John 4:1 19 and verse [music] 10. We love him because he first loved us. [music] As much as we know we hear about loving God, we know that the reason we love him is because [music] he first loved us. So, let's sing this 19:42 together. And here is also going to be a little echo. [music] So brother Olu and I will sing we love him with the boys and then the girls will follow with an echo we love him. So here's what it sounds like. We the boys will sing we 19:53 love [music] him and then the girls will respond with we love him. It's the same note because he first [music] loved us and then the second line we love [singing] him. Girls will follow we love him because he first [music] 20:10 loved us. And this is love [music and singing] that he loved us and sent his [music] son. Here's the echo again. We love [singing] him because [music] he 20:28 love Okay, very simple [music] chorus. First John 4. Let's sing it together. We love him. >> We love [singing] him. >> We love [music] him because he first loved us. >> [music] >> We love [singing] him. We love him 20:46 because he first [singing] loved us. And this is love [music] that he loved us and sent his son. [music] We love [singing] him. >> We love him >> because he first 21:05 love [music] us. How about we sing it to [music] him? We love you. And let's lift our hands together as we sing. I'm just going to have the boys and the girls sing. Can we do that, boys? You don't need us adults helping. Sing loud. The boys will start 21:20 with we love you. And the girls will follow. I'd love to listen to you. You children tell the Lord that you love him. Lift up your hands. All children, let's all lift our hands together to him and say, "Lord Jesus, we love you." 21:32 Let's sing this together. We love >> [music] >> We love you. [music] 21:59 [music] [music] Beautiful. Let's sing it all together. [music] Wonderful. Thank you, children. We love you. [singing] 22:15 We love you because you first [music] love God. >> We love you. >> We love you because [singing] you first [music] love God. 22:31 And this is [singing] love that you love [singing] your [music] son. We love you. We love you [music and singing] because you first love. [music] 22:51 >> Beautiful. Okay. Hopefully you'll sing those songs when you go back. Let's sing a [music] fun one. God's not dead. Let's clap and sing. God's not dead. No, he is [singing] alive. God's [music] not dead. No, he's alive. God's not dead. No, he 23:08 [singing and music] is alive. I feel him in my hands. I feel him in my feet. I [music] feel him in my heart. I feel him in my soul. I feel him. [singing and music] One more time. God's not dead. God's not dead. No, he's alive. God's not dead. 23:26 No, he's alive. [music] God's not dead. No, he is alive. I feel him in my head. I feel him in my feet. I feel him in my heart. I feel him in my soul. [music] [singing] All over. One more time. God, God's not dead. No, he [music] is 23:46 [singing] alive. God's not dead. No, he is alive. God's not dead. No, he is [music and singing] alive. I feel him in my hands. Feel him in my feet. Feel him in my heart. Feel him in my soul. Feel him [singing] all over [music] 24:04 me. How about fruit of the spirit? Who wants to do that? Oh, I think a few of you. All right, let's do that. Okay, you got to um stay close for [music] this one because you got to find your grapes later on. So, let's do how about we'll 24:20 do banana. What are the fruit of the spirit? Children, can we say together? The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, I think we have some four or five year olds here who know the fruit of the spirit. I don't think I knew that at 24:37 four years old. That's wonderful. It's wonderful that we have a song that helps [music] us to remember it. So, we'll do the fruit of the spirit is those that's what we know. But it's not a banana. It's not a coconut. It's not a 24:47 watermelon. And it's not a grape. Let's just do those four. What's the banana? What shape are we doing for banana? Everybody show me what a banana looks like. Okay. What does a coconut look like? Yeah. Look. Look on top of your 24:57 neck. There it is. Right there. Good fat coconut sitting there. A watermelon. Show us what a melon looks like. Right there in front of you. And show me my grape clusters. Where are my grape clusters? So for grapes, we're going to 25:08 hug somebody near you. [music] Whether you know them or [singing] not, they're your friends. They're children of God. Let's do this. The fruit of the spirit's not a banana. [music] The fruit of the [singing] spirit's not 25:23 a banana. [music] If you want to be a banana, you might as well [singing and music] hear it. You can't be a fruit of the spirit. Fruit is love, joy, [music] peace, grace, goodness, faithfulness, gent, [singing] joy, peace, grace, [music] goodness, 25:41 gent [music] coconut. Ready? The fruit of the [singing] spirit's not a coconut. The fruit of the [music] spirit's not a coconut. [singing] If you want to be a coconut, [music] 26:00 you might as well hear it. You can't be the fruit of the spirit. [music] The fruit is love, joy, peace, grace, kindness, goodness, gent, gent, and self control. Love, joy, peace, [music] patience, goodness, goodness, faithfulness, 26:14 gentleness, and self control. Where are my watermelons? The fruit of the spirit [music] is not a watermelon. The fruit of the [singing] spirit's not a watermelon. If you want to be a [singing] watermelon, [music] 26:33 you might as well hear it. You can't be the fruit, not the spirit. The fruit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, [music] gentleness, [singing] and selfcontrol. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, 26:45 goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, [singing] and selfont control. [music] All right, last one. Grapes. You ready? The fruit of the [music and singing] spirit is not a grave. The fruit of the spirit's not [singing and music] a grave. 27:03 If you want to be a grave, you might as well [singing and music] hear it. You can't be the fruit of the spirit. The good is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, [music] and selfcont control. 27:18 Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gent is love, [music and singing] joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. Love, joy, peace, patience, [music and singing] kindness, goodness, 27:32 faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. [music] >> Yes. Good job, children. All right, now you want to spread out. We're going to do wrapped up tied up. Get some space because you don't want to knock out the person next to you. So, 27:50 spread out. Just stay away from the microphones. Get some space on the ground. Spread out. Get some space. Make sure you got enough room to really express yourself and your love for the Lord. Here we go. Wrapped up, tied 28:04 [music] up, tangled up in Jesus. [singing] Wrapped up, tied up, tangled up in [music] Jesus. Wrapped up, tied up, tangled up in Jesus. Upright, downright, li right, [music] upright, down right, living right, upright, down right, living right to God. All right, hold on, 29:10 hold on, hold on, hold on. I don't know if you guys are watching your parents. They're itching to do it with you. They are like just ready to jump out of their seat. So, parents, adults, you can stand up. Let's do this with the children as 29:22 well. How about that? I can see so many faces. They're like, "Can I be up there with them?" You sure can. Here we go. Wrapped up, tied up, tangled up in Jesus. [singing] Wrapped up, tied [music] up, tangled up in Jesus. Wrapped up, tied up, tangled 29:41 [singing] up in Jesus. [music] >> All right, let's stay standing, children. How many disciples did Jesus call to help him? There were 12 31:11 disciples and now he has that many more. There were 12 disciples. [singing] Jesus called to [music] help him. Simon, Peter, Andrew, James, his brother John, [singing] Philip, Thomas, [music] Matthew James the son of Alus, 31:30 Simon, Judas, and Bartholomew. [singing and music] Let's take it a little bit higher. And there were some disciples. Jesus called to help him. [music] Simon, Peter, Andrew, James, his brother John, Philip, Thomas, Matthew, 31:47 James the son of [singing] Alus, that Simon, Judas, and Bartholomew. [singing] Jesus calls us to. Jesus [music] calls us to. We are his disciples. [singing] I am one. Are you Jesus calls us to 32:04 Jesus calls us to We are his disciples. [music] We his work must do. Jesus calls us to Jesus calls us to. We are his disciples. Learn [singing] what are you? Jesus calls [music] us to Jesus calls 32:21 [singing] us to we are his disciples. We his work must do. I don't know parents for you uh parents who are here if you think about the awesome responsibility it is to raise up these children to train them in the way that they should go it's an impossible 32:41 task except that we receive power from God and except we receive faith from God to know that the things we do now will matter 40 years from now will matter in eternity if we don't have that kind of faith then we're wasting our time then 32:56 it's hopeless but thank God that we can't have faith he has promised [music] that he loves these little children. I love this song. It's the same melody that we just sang. Sewing in the morning, sewing seeds of kindness, 33:08 sewing in the noon time and the dewy eve. Whatever whether it's morning, noon, or night, we're waiting for the harvest and we shall come. I hope, dear parents, that even as you watch your children up here or you think about the 33:21 children that you had or children that you will have, children that you have now, we shall come rejoicing. Let's sing this song in faith and believe that God is going to watch over our children. God's going to give us grace to be godly 33:34 parents. No matter what it's been like in the past, we believe [music] it will be according to God's will in the days [snorts] to come. He will help us. [music] And we shall come rejoicing, bringing these sheeps with us when we 33:46 come. Seowing in [singing] the morning, sowing seeds of kindness, [music] sowing in the noon time. And do we waiting [singing] for the harvest and the time of reaping. [music] We shall come [singing] rejoicing, 34:05 bringing in the sheep, bringing in the [singing] sheep, bringing in the she. We [music] shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheep, bringing [singing] in the she, bringing in the she. We shall come rejoicing, [music and singing] 34:24 bringing in the she, swinging in the sunshine, [singing and music] sewing in the shadows, fearing neither clouds nor [music] winter should increase. By and by the harvest and the labor [singing] 34:42 ended, [music] we shall come rejoicing, bringing in the she bringing in the she bringing in the she. We shall come rejoicing, [singing and music] bringing in the she bringing in the she. Bringing [music and singing] in the 35:01 sheep. We shall come rejoicing. Bringing in the sheep, [music] going forth with weeping, singing for the master. [singing and music] Though the loss sustained, our spirit often grieves. When our weeping's [singing] 35:19 over, he will fill [music] us welcome. We shall come rejoicing, [singing] bringing in the she, bringing in [music] the she, bringing in the she. We shall come rejoicing, [singing] bringing in the she [music] 35:37 bringing in the she bringing in the she. We shall come rejoicing [music and singing] bringing in the she. >> Good job, children. Well done. You can go back to your seats. And again, we'd like to keep the first 35:55 three or four rows for the children. Uh if they can take those first three or four rows. children, we'd like you to stay up here in this middle section. If you're six years and older, six years and older, we can sit in these first 36:08 three rows, three or four rows. Um, you can share seats. You don't need a lot of space. Okay, 37:14 are you all seated children? So since you sang for us, I'm going to sing a song for you children. Only one verse. Listen carefully. 37:30 Jesus loves me, this I know. Though my hair is white as snow, though my sight is growing dim, still he bids me. Trust in him. Yes, Jesus loves 37:48 me. Join me. Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me. The Bible tells >> those of you who are young and those of 38:04 us who are old, he loves us all. Remember that even when your hair is white as snow, he will still love you. And even when your sight is growing dim [clears throat] so we have some questions here and I'll 38:23 try and answer them one by one. The first question is very interesting. Brother Zach, can you tell us a riddle, please? You know what a riddle is? It's a tricky question. 38:42 Okay, here's a riddle. When I'm young, I'm very tall. When I grow old, I become very short. Anybody know the answer? >> A candle 39:00 >> or >> a pencil? Right. You're all very clever. Okay. You want another question? The more you take away from me, the more you take away from me, the bigger I 39:19 become. >> A hole. Okay. [laughter] The more you take away from me, the bigger I become. Okay, one last one. I have a neck but no head. 39:36 I wear a cap but no hair. A bottle. Okay, you're all far clever than me. You [laughter] Okay, I You know more riddles than I do. Okay, now we'll go to these other 39:51 questions which are al very important. What is your favorite number? me. So, please keep quiet. 40:13 [screaming] It's not 86. 86 is my age. That's not my favorite number. My favorite number is the number seven. Why? Because there are seven days in a week. And you read that in the Bible. First 40:32 page, God created six days. Seven day was a day of rest. And there are seven colors in the rainbow. And uh seven is the perfect number. So 7 is my favorite number. Okay. [clears throat] I used to preach with seven points. Too 40:51 long now. So I make it three. And then what is my favorite color? Uh almost all my shirts are some type of blue and almost all my p tr trousers are also some type of blue. You know why? 41:07 because I was in the Navy for many years and the Navy they always wear blue. Okay, you'll learn a lot of things about me today. What did Jesus do when he was a kid? You know, from the time Jesus was a 41:25 baby, he grew up. He did the same things that all of you children did except one thing. You children sometimes disobey your parents. Jesus never disobeyed his parents. He 41:43 always obeyed his parents. And whatever they said, Jesus, stop what you're doing now, he stopped it. Go and help your younger brother. Help him with something. You know, Jesus had four younger brothers and two younger 42:03 sisters. He was the eldest of seven children and he lived in a very poor home. I think all the five boys would sleep in one room on the floor. They were not rich enough to have CS and beds and all that and the two sisters would be in 42:23 another room probably with the mother and it was a small house because his father his earthly father was a carpenter. carpenters. I know poor carpenters in India. I know the type of houses they live in. Very small, very poor. 42:39 And so what did he do? He helped his mother and father when they were doing some work. Jesus, can you go and pick that up? He would pick that up and bring it to the mother. That's what he did when he was a kid. He helped his mother 42:54 in whatever possible way. A great example because when Jesus said, "Follow me." That's an example for all children also older people. I have to follow him in the way an older person must follow Jesus and you must follow Jesus the way 43:10 he was when he was young. He obeyed daddy and mommy. When daddy the I mean that was his earthly daddy and mommy Joseph and Mary. When they said Jesus do this he didn't say why. Do you say why? Don't say it. Jesus never said it. He 43:28 said, "Okay, okay, Mom. I'll do that. And uh go and help your brothers and sisters." He would do that. Go to the well, bring some water. He'd go and bring it. Okay, Jesus, the floor is a bit dirty. Sweep it up. He would do 43:45 it. So, that's the answer. What did Jesus do as a kid? He was always obeying his daddy and mommy. Even though there was an earthly daddy and mommy, he was a small boy. He grew up just like others. He was almighty God. Came in the form of a small baby and 44:04 grew up to be an example. If he, you know, God could have sent Jesus to earth as a big man. Didn't God make Adam like a big man? Adam was not a baby. When God made Adam, he was a big man. And God could have made another clay model on 44:22 earth and sent Jesus into that clay. Jesus would have come out as a man but then he won't be an example to all of you children. You see children will say we can't follow Jesus. He came as a man. That's why he came as a baby. He came as a 44:38 little child so that he can be an example for you children. How to obey your parents? How to respect them. And the other thing Jesus had four brothers and two sisters and he never fought with them once. Wow. 44:56 Imagine having four brothers and two sisters are always teasing you and he never fought back with them. Isn't that a good example to follow that when now your ch your brothers and sisters tease you or trouble you, you never fight back with them. But I'm sure 45:13 Jesus had a lot of fun with them playing games and joking and laughing and all that. He was a normal child, but he never did anything harm to others. And I'm sure he played with all the other children in uh the neighborhood. And if 45:29 they made fun of him, [clears throat] he never made fun of them. And they didn't sit and speak evil of oh see how uncle that uncle is or see how that auntie is. They never made fun of others. A lot of children make fun of others. must never 45:48 never make fun of other people. So those are some of the things. Okay, next question. Uh why does Jesus love me even though I am a sinner? Okay, I'll answer that question. Why do your daddy and mommy love you even when 46:08 you're so bad sometimes? You're not all good all the time, are you? Aren't you bad sometimes? Don't you disobey your parents sometimes? Don't you fight sometimes? Do you think your daddy and mommy one day will say you won't get any food 46:26 today because you fought or I won't give you your ice cream today. All the others will have ice cream, but you won't have ice cream because you fought with somebody. Your daddy and mommy are like not like that. They love you. And Jesus loves you 46:43 much, much more. You know why? Because he wants you to become good. That's why he loves you even when you're bad. And that's why your daddy and mommy also love you when you're bad. Because they want you to become good. They want 47:00 you to play with your brothers and sisters and love them and not fight with them. That teaches us how God loves sinful people because he wants us to become better. He doesn't want us to remain sinful because because you know listen 47:16 to are you all the children all listening to me or not? >> Yes or no? >> Thank you. Some of you are listening. Are you all listening? >> Some more are listening. Are you all listening? >> Oh, good. Now you're all listening. 47:31 Okay. Jesus loves you because he wants you to become better. A better boy, a better girl. Remember that. Okay. Next question. If I want to turn to God to be saved, you know what 47:48 it means to be saved? To be saved is to be saved from everything that is bad, wrong. For example, if you fall into a ditch, a dirty ditch, and you say, "Mommy, save me." What do you mean? Pull me out of this dirty ditch and clean me up. That's what it 48:08 means to be saved. Lord, I am falling into so many bad habits. I tell lies. I fight with my brothers, sisters. I disobey my parents. Save me from this dirty ditch. And Jesus will help you so that you don't fight with your brother, sister, 48:26 and you'll obey your parents and you'll try to follow Jesus example. That's why he saves you. So the question is where do I start? You start by you know what is the first commandment for children? Obey your parents. Absolutely right. 48:45 Start there. When you go to school they first teach you ABC bat cat BT cat. Okay. Start with obey your parents. That is the ABC. Okay. How do I know God is in 49:03 my heart? That God has forgiven me. I'm born again and in the right path. See, because Jesus loves little children. And uh I love little children. That's why when you were singing and doing all those things, I also wanted to join you. 49:22 I couldn't jump as high as you, but I tried all the other things because Jesus loves little children. And I'm sure if Jesus were here, he'd be doing all the things that you did. He loves you. And that's uh I read in the 49:35 Bible that Jesus loves little children. And when you ask him to come into heart, it's a very good thing because he came to earth to come and dwell in people's hearts. And so you think he'll say no. If when you ask him when he's come for that 49:50 purpose, he will not say no. Anything good that you ask him, he will always give it to you. Sometimes he says, "Wait." For example, you children, have you seen a $100 bill? 50:10 A $100 is a very expensive bill. Supposing you go and say to your daddy and mommy, "Give me a $100 bill." Will they give it to you? No. Why? Because you will don't know how to use it. So there are certain things Jesus will 50:28 not give you. He'll your daddy and mommy will see you wait till you grow up. When you grow up one day I'll give it to you. And that's what Jesus says also. There are some things you have to wait later on he'll give it to you. Some things 50:41 he'll never give it to you. Supposing a little three-year-old says, "Give me that knife." Will he give it to him? No. He may hurt himself. later on if he needs to use it, God will give it like that. There are certain things which if 50:55 you take it, it'll harm you. If you give a three-year-old or a two-year-old a knife, they'll hurt themselves. That's how God doesn't give certain things. Or I can use an example. You children, let me please answer this question. 51:13 When you travel with your parents in a car, have you seen a traffic light? How many lights are there? >> Three. Red. >> Yellow. >> Green. What does red mean? >> Stop. 51:32 >> Yellow means >> wait. Wait. Get ready. Green means >> go. Okay. So when you ask Jesus for something, a prayer, there are three lights. Sometimes it is red. No, it's not good for you because you'll have a accident 51:51 in your life if I give it to you. It'll ruin you, spoil you. Or yellow. Wait, you're not old enough to get that. Wait till you're 15 years old, then I'll give it to you. You're only five now. You're only 10. Or sometime you'll say, "Wait, 52:07 you're 21. Wait till you get married, then I'll give it to you." That's a yellow light. Green light is, "Yeah, sure. I'll give it to you right now. So, are these traffic lights always working? Always they're working. It's not always 52:22 green, but it's always working. So, God answers every prayer. Sometimes red, sometimes yellow, sometimes green. So, if God doesn't answer your prayer, if God says no, don't say he didn't answer my prayer. He answered my prayer. The answer was no. 52:41 Don't ever say the traffic lights are not working. They're always working. Just because it's red, you can't say it's not working. Just because God says no, don't say he didn't answer your prayer. He did answer your prayer. The answer was red. 52:55 No. So don't ever say in future, God did not answer my prayer. He always answered. What are the answers? Tell me the answers. No, wait or yes? No, wait or yes. And why does 53:14 the red If you if you disobey the red light and drive, what will happen? >> Accident. And when God says no, there's a reason. If he had said yes, you would have an accident. It's because 53:30 he loves you that he says no to your prayers. Okay? So that's why so God how to know whether I'm born again. Jesus says if you anyone who comes to me I'll never cast out. That's how I believed that. I 53:49 wish I had believed it when I was 5 years old but I believed it really when I was 19. So I wasted so many years of my life. But if you if you just believe John 6:37 if you come to me I'll never cast you out. Believe that he's a child. When you 54:05 come to Jesus, he will never say, "I won't receive you." In fact, on earth, most of the time, he loved little children. I think if Jesus were here, he would have probably joined you on the stage and jumped and danced with you. Do you 54:21 believe that? >> Yes. Jesus was like that. He loved little children. So remember that if you ask him, he'll come. Don't feel you're waiting for feeling. Feeling is not always uh Okay, let me ask you children a question. Are 54:40 you listening? >> Do your daddy and mommy love you? >> Yes. [cheering] Can you show it to me? >> How can you show it? You just know in your heart, right? You I can't see it. I can't see that Jesus is your love, but you know it in 54:57 your heart. That's how you can know that Jesus loves you, too. That's how I know Jesus loves me. I know it's my heart. Okay. How can I be sure that I'll meet Jesus? Uh, okay. Another question was, I asked Jesus to come into my heart, but 55:14 nothing happened. The next day, I fought with my brother. I love these children. They are absolutely honest. You know, grown-up people are not so honest. They pretend they're very holy from the day one. The child says, "I 55:29 asked Jesus. Next day I fought with my brother. You know what you should do when you fight with your brother? You speak to Jesus and say, "Lord Jesus, I'm sorry you came into my heart, but I hurt you. I hurt you by fighting with my 55:44 brother. I don't want to hurt you again. So please help me not to fight with my brother." That's what you should do. And you know what Jesus will say? Forgiven. Forget it. Not only forgiven, but forget it. Let's move on. Wonderful. Jesus is 56:02 so good. He'll forgive you things that even your daddy and mommy don't forgive you. He's so good. Okay. But I'll tell you why you fight with your brother. Because when you receive Jesus, even for grown-up people like us, we don't become perfect the day 56:20 Christ comes into heart. When Christ is born into our heart, when Christ comes into heart is like a little baby being born. Can a little baby change his diapers? No. Can a little baby walk? No. Can a little baby talk? No. But 56:38 it'll grow up. It'll learn everything. In the same way, as you grow up, you'll stop fighting with your brother. You'll stop fighting with your sister. Little by little, in every area, you'll start obeying your daddy and mommy. It's a 56:50 growth. Just like you grow taller and taller and taller, you will start obeying God more and more and more and more. Okay. The next next question is, how can I sure that I meet Jesus when I die? Supposing your daddy and mommy give you 57:10 a promise. Tomorrow lunchtime, I'll get you some ice cream. Will they do it or not? >> Yes. How are you so sure? Because you know that your daddy and mommy love you. They don't tell lies. Jesus does not tell a lie. If you can 57:28 believe your daddy and mommy who are not perfect. Why can't you believe Jesus? When you die, you will go straight up to be with him. How do we know that God is real and that he's infinite? It's like asking, "How do you know that 57:46 you love your dad and mom? Do you love your dad and mom? You can't show it to me, but you have it in your heart and you know it. Let me ask you another thing. Do you know whether you're alive or dead? Are you Are you dead? 58:02 [laughter] >> How do you know you're alive? You just know it. There's no way to explain it. So I say, I know that God is alive. I know he's real. We know in our heart. And if he is God, it must be one who made this universe. He's infinite and 58:17 he's all powerful. And um about the trinity, if Jesus is God, how does he have a father? No, he doesn't have a father like you have a father. Jesus was not born from the father like you. These are just three names for God 58:36 is one. But it's very difficult for us to understand. Some of you older children who are in school who have do you know the difference between addition and multiplication? >> Yes. What? Okay. Those who know addition 58:54 and multiplication tell me how much is 1 + 1 + 1. >> Three. Okay. Now answer this one. 1 multiplied 1 multiplied by 1. >> One. How is that? How can three ones be one? One multiplied by one multiplied by one is 59:13 >> one. >> So God is father, son and holy spirit. But they are >> one. You understood it now. If we can understand it in a simple thing like mathematics, imagine almighty god. One day we'll see it is absolutely true. 59:33 Okay. Um why did Jesus come in the as a baby and not as a king? Because he came as a child so that he can be an example for all of you. If he came as a grown-up man, he cannot be example for children. That's why. Okay. If God is loving, why 59:48 does he hurt us? Aha. Do your children do your parents ever punish you for something? >> Do they love you? >> Uh-huh. They love you and they punish you because they want you to know that 1:00:08 something you did was bad. And if they just tell you, you don't understand. So they give you a little spanking and that spanking you'll remember more than their words. The Bible says that and that's why they do it. Then you 1:00:24 remember it better than if they just told you. So sometimes God allows us to be hurt for our good and something a little more difficult to understand. Older children you'll understand. Do you do you know what an operation in a 1:00:39 theater in a hospital is? Where they a surgeon will cut open a person's stomach and take out some sickness disease thing inside and throw it out and stitch the stomach. Have you heard of that? But can you imagine if you see a doctor 1:00:55 taking a knife and tearing open your mother mommy's stomach, you'll say, "Hey, he hates my mommy." No, he's pulling out a baby from inside. Your little brother came from there. Was that good or bad? Good. But he used a knife to cut your 1:01:13 mummy open. So some things God does, we can't understand. But it is always for our good. And when you're grown up, you'll understand it. It hurts. You ask your mommy, "Did it hurt when the knife came through the m?" Yes, it did hurt. She was happy. Got a 1:01:33 baby there. Okay. Um if Jesus faced everything we face and knows how hard it is, why does he still allow us to face it? You know, when we face something hard, we become strong. That's how people go to the gymnasiums 1:01:51 and do exercise and become strong. Those who don't do any exercise, they become fat and they become useless. They can't even walk after some time. They do some type of exercise to keep keep themselves fit. You know, when I 1:02:08 get older, I'm 86 and I'm older and I can't do things that I did when I was young, but I still walk on a treadmill every day so that I can keep my legs moving so that I don't become useless and hopeless just sitting down not able 1:02:22 to get up etc. So, we need to do something to keep ourselves fit. So, that's why um he allows us to face some hard things which are not easy. Okay. Uh why does Jesus say he's coming but 1:02:40 it's taking forever? What is he what is he waiting for? Okay, I'll tell you. There is an answer for it in the Bible. The answer is in second Peter chapter 3 because there are some people still not accepted him as their savior. 1:02:58 Listen, supposing your brother or sister has not yet accepted Jesus as savior and he comes today. You go to heaven and your brother goes to hell. Will you be happy? >> So Jesus says his brother's not come to yet to Christ. I'll wait till next year 1:03:16 and next year Jesus come by time your brother is also come to Christ. Now you isn't don't you think it was good that Jesus waited? >> Yes. >> Yes. In the same way there are many people in the world God knows exactly whom to wait for. One day he will come. 1:03:30 Everything in the Bible there is a very simple answer. Uh sometimes we don't understand it but when you think about it we get the answer. Okay. He's not waiting forever. One day he'll come. How did Satan became the devil? I'll tell 1:03:44 you. By pride. He became proud and he became the devil. He didn't become the devil by killing somebody or fighting with someone. No, he didn't become the devil by killing someone. He didn't become the devil by stealing. He became the devil by pride. 1:04:02 Do you know what pride is? To try and think I'm better than everybody else and trying to make people think that I'm the smartest child and trying to push other ch by saying something that will make other child feel small 1:04:16 bad. That is the heart of the devil to show off. I can sing better than you. I can speak better than you. That is the spirit of the devil to show that you are better than somebody else. If you are better, be thankful. Jesus was better 1:04:34 than everybody else. But he never tried to show off. So showing off is a poison from the devil. Don't try to show off to other children also. I'm better. My house is better than yours. My car is better than yours. It's all of the 1:04:49 devil. If you got a better car or a better house, your parents got a better car or a better house, be thankful, but don't boast about it. Boasting is from the devil. It came through the devil became, he was an angel who became the devil 1:05:03 because of pride. Have you understood it? P R I D E. Be very That's the greatest sin of all. Okay. Uh why doesn't God get rid of Satan? I'm 1:05:20 sure God is using Satan for a purpose because he wants to test people. Do you do you children have tests in your school? In India, they have tests every month in the schools and the test is to see whether you understood something and if 1:05:39 you fail in the test, you know that you haven't understood it. So they give you another test next month because they want you to pass but otherwise you'll never know whether you've understood anything. So the devil God allows the devil to remain to test us to 1:05:56 make us strong. It's the same principle as people going to the gymnasium resistance makes them strong. The devil God allows the devil to resist you so you become strong. Okay. Uh why is sin so attractive? How 1:06:14 can I not sin? See, only if something is attractive, you'll be tempted. You won't be tempted by garbage. So God has to test you whether you'll be attracted to something which is wrong but attractive or to God 1:06:32 who is pure. So God makes it attractive to show whether you love God more than everything even the attractive things in the world. How can I not sin? I keep falling and feel I can never do anything right. I'll tell you the only way to overcome sin 1:06:49 and to do what is right is by asking Jesus to help you. Even we older people I have to pray and every day almost I pray I think every day Lord Jesus help me. I do not fall and want to fall into any sin in my thought, attitude, word, 1:07:07 motive, anything. I I want to pure today but I can't do it without your help. So even at my age I need Jesus to help me. You ask Jesus to help you. He'll help you never to sin. U I feel I keep falling and I feel I can never do 1:07:22 anything right. Don't believe that. Believe that with Jesus help you do the right thing. You can obey your daddy and mommy. With Jesus help even if you don't feel like it sometimes you say Lord I'm sorry I didn't obey daddy and mommy 1:07:35 there but you help me. I want to obey daddy and mommy in future. Okay. Is science real with facts and evidence or the Bible with stories? Yeah, there are many things in science that are real. But I can't trust science 100%. 1:07:54 But many things science have investigated and found it is true. But when it comes to the Bible, I've read the Bible for 67 years. I read it from cover to cover and I know it is 100% it is true. I don't I didn't understand lot of it when 1:08:13 I started out reading but today I understand more. It's like saying when I was in the kindergarten I could not multiply 10 by 10 into 6 is 60. I could not do it in the kindergarten. But now I know now I know a lot more than multiplication. So as you grow you 1:08:29 become more and more. In some way when you read the Bible more and more and more, it's like going from one standard to the next standard to the next grade, next grade. Each grade every year, you should know more of the Bible if you 1:08:40 read it. But you never go to school, you'll never go to the next grade, right? You go to the next grade if you pass in one grade. So you must read the Bible regularly and then you will know more and more. Uh did everyone descend from Adam and 1:08:57 Eve? Yes, every human being came from Adam and Eve. But then at a certain time, God destroyed all the human race and there was only Noah and his family. So they all came from Noah also. All the others were destroyed. But originally 1:09:12 from Adam and Eve. Uh God did not make any other people. How do I understand things like evolution and denosis? Evol. Evolution is garbage. You know what garbage is? Where do you put the garbage? In the 1:09:28 trash can. So this theory of evolution. Trash can. That means man came from the monkey. What a disgraceful thing. I can't imagine anybody thinking supposing you were taught that you came from a monkey. Would you like that? It's not 1:09:43 true. God made the monkeys separately and he made man separately. They may look alike. That doesn't man make a difference. So because man is why do men people say that? It just shows how foolish man is that he thinks he came 1:09:59 from a monkey. And what about dinosaurs? Now I don't know much about dinosaurs. I mean there are they say there are bones and all. I don't know whether it's all true about the bones and all but certain animals who are who were very big and probably 1:10:14 needed a lot of food to survive. Maybe they died. Maybe they did. I don't know whether dinosaurs were inside Noah's ark. But if they were, they probably didn't get enough food to eat and they died. There must be some reason like 1:10:27 that. I don't waste my time about because it's not going to help me to become a better Christian. Anything that's not going to help me to be a better Christian, if I don't know the answer, I say, "Okay, it's not important." Okay. How can I hear God 1:10:40 speak to me in your heart? And the more you obey God, the more you'll be able to hear God speaking in your heart. And the first thing I told you, are you listening? >> The first thing that children have to do is obey daddy and mommy. Then God will 1:10:59 teach you more. That's how you hear God speak more and more and more. If you don't obey daddy and mommy, you will not hear God at all. How do I know if the voice in my mouth is my mind is my own idea or God speaking or the devil speaking? I'll 1:11:15 tell you. Read the Bible and until you've read the whole Bible, ask your daddy and mommy if they know Jesus. They'll tell you. And some some people there daddy and mommy may not know Jesus. We come across many people like that in India. Then I 1:11:32 say go to someone who knows Jesus. Some uncle or auntie who knows Jesus. Ask them. So when we don't know something just like something in school you don't know what do you do ask your teacher or ask your dad and mom what is 1:11:50 the answer to that. So when you don't know whether this is from God ask an older person who really knows the Lord. Okay. If you don't read the Bible is it bad? It's like saying if you don't go to school is it bad? You'll never learn anything. 1:12:09 You'll be a foolish child. You'll be 20 years old. You won't get a job. So it's good to go to school and learn. You won't be able to read. You won't be able to speak properly. So many good things by learning to read and speak in 1:12:24 which you go to school and later on when you grow up you can get a job and you can earn some money to take care of yourself. So in the same way reading the Bible helps us to grow spiritually. It's like to me another example is 1:12:37 eating food. If you don't eat food, what will happen? You'll become weak and sick and die. Spiritually, if you don't read the Bible inwardly, you will die. That means you won't be able to hear the voice of God. So, you read the Bible 1:12:54 regularly, you'll be alive inwardly and you'll be hear able to hear God speaking. I've heard God speaking to my heart many times because I read the Bible every single day. To the best of my knowledge, I've read the Bible every single day for 67 years. 1:13:14 So, it's become very clear to me. Have you read the whole Bible? Yes, I've read the whole Bible number of times. But I want everything. I'm more interested in obeying everything in the Bible. And whatever I know I have tried to obey by 1:13:29 God's grace and if there is something which I have not yet obeyed God will show me. Which is your favorite book in the Bible and why? It's very difficult to say because at different times, you know, when I was young, maybe some of the gospels and the 1:13:49 stories of Jesus were very good for me. But as I've grown up and then other books are interesting, I was interested in the book of Revelation to see what all is going to happen in heaven. But then now as I become an elder of many 1:14:05 churches, I've had to read some of the other books in the Bible like Corinthians and Ephesians and Galatians because I want to know how to help these churches. So at different stages in your life, different books of the Bible and 1:14:20 different chapters in the Bible will be precious to you. Okay. How can I find joy in reading it? You know if you ask Jesus to speak to you and read the passages parts of the Bible which are easy to read the gospels the 1:14:37 new testament and say lord speak to me and if something is difficult you know which has grown more older people can understand leave it for the time being and say I will read it later on. Okay. [clears throat] What is the best Bible verse I can 1:14:56 memorize as a little kid? One of the favorite verses that everybody likes to memorize is God so loved the world. John 3:16 that he gave his only son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. There's some wonderful verses like 1:15:15 that which your parents can tell you which as you grow up there'll be other verses that are worse. For example, for a grown-up person, a good verse is Matthew 6:33. Be anxious for nothing. If you seek the kingdom of God first and his 1:15:31 righteousness, all the other things will be added to you. For grown-up people, that's a good verse. At different stages of your life, different verses are good for you. How can I learn about God if I'm too young to read? Well, ask your 1:15:44 dad and mom to read to you or to read from some Bible story book. Next question. When Jesus taught us to pray, do we have to pray exactly those words? No. If you read that passage in Matthew 6, he did not say repeat these 1:16:00 words. No. He said when you pray, Matthew 6 uh he he was giving us a pattern how to pray. He said pray then Matthew 6:9 in this way. He didn't say repeat this. He 1:16:20 didn't say it every day repeat our father who art in heaven hallowed be thine. No in this way. And what does in this way mean that when you pray? First pray to glorify God. Thy kingdom come. Thy name be praised. Thy will be done. Then come to your 1:16:39 needs. Lord give me my bread. Forgive me my sins as I forgive others. So the main thing and we learn in that prayer is first of all put God first and put your needs second. Lord I want to seek your kingdom first. Help me to be a good boy 1:16:56 and girl. Help me to obey my parents then think of your needs. Help me in my school and keep me healthy and all that. Uh when I read the Bible, sometimes the verses 1:17:15 confuse me. That confuses me alto too. As you grow up and more and more, you'll learn more and more. It'll confuse you less. How can I find joy in reading the Bible? As you read it more and more and you understand more and more, you find 1:17:31 sometimes the Bible gives you a verse that solves a problem. Many verses in the Bible have solved problems in my life and saved me from many errors protected me from wrong steps in my life. I'll give you one example. 1:17:51 Many years ago when I was before I got married in India, I was living with my parents. So my parents were quite old and I had the habit of reading one chapter every day and I had gone somewhere to preach and uh 1:18:09 I suddenly got a message from my dad saying I'm sick and uh there was nobody else at home. I was the oldest son and the doctor says I've got to have an operation immediately so please come back. I had just gone somewhere to have a Christian camp 1:18:29 meeting for some young people. And the day I reached there, I got this message from my dad. You know, I traveled by train. It was 3 days to go, three days to come back. My dad said, "Come back immediately. I'm I'm in operator. I have 1:18:42 to go to the operation theater." So I said, "Lord, I prayed everything. You must pray first." I said, "Lord Jesus, I've come here to speak to these young people. How can I go away?" Now that day my I had the habit of reading 1:18:56 the Bible. That day my reading was Deuteronomy chapter 1 and uh it was around October 26th or something that I was that conference is going on and I was read Lord when shall I go back to help my dad she's having an operation so 1:19:12 she says it's urgent. So I read there in Deuteronomy chapter 1 that it was the verse three it was the first day of the 11th month. Okay 1st of November 11th month the Lord said verse 1:19:29 7 turn and set your journey and go. Okay I'm not saying you God always speaks like that but that day he did. So I said okay I'm going to book my ticket for the 1st of November. And I booked my ticket for the 1st of November and took the train. I went I 1:19:46 finally reached home about one week after my dad had sent me the message and he said it was an urgent operation. So when I reached home, you know what happened? My dad said because you said you're not coming immediately, I decided 1:20:01 to the doctor had told me I had cancer and I must be operated immediately. But because you didn't come immediately, I asked another specialist for an opinion. Gave my x-rays and all. And that specialist looked at and said, "You 1:20:17 don't have cancer. You don't need an operation." So my dad said, "Thank you for not coming when I called you." Wasn't that good that I didn't rush back, but I asked God to guide me. So I'm not saying that every time God will 1:20:31 guide you, but that time I was really seeking God. I said, "Lord, how can I leave these young people? do I have to preach to them? And God said, "Don't worry." He guided me that way. He doesn't always guide. So don't look at 1:20:42 look into the Bible and just do whatever the Bible says uh by as if that isn't guidance for you. So sometimes people take that in a foolish way and uh do whatever they want and they find some verse in the Bible to do it. Now in my 1:20:56 case, I was not finding some words just to do what I want. I was really seeking guidance. What shall I do? So sometimes he leads like that. Most of the time God leads me by a witness in my spirit. Let me tell you that also. 1:21:10 Okay. What kind of music should I listen to? You can listen to music that calms your soul and that you enjoy listening to. But if they have got words which all words which are not good for children to listen to, listen to your dad and mom 1:21:30 and don't listen to such songs. Some songs the birds are not good at all. If it is just music and some music is so jumpy and all that is not so good, you be careful and uh ask your parents. They'll guide you in the type of music. 1:21:47 I personally prefer music that is calm, relaxing and particularly hymns and even the tunes of hymns. I've got some very good tunes in so that those are very relaxing when you're tired or sitting alone doing nothing. And if it's just 1:22:06 the tune, you can remember the hymns and it comes back to your mind. Those are the best songs to listen to. Okay. How can I learn good habits without having to be told many times by my parents? I'll tell you. You begin by listening to 1:22:19 your parents. Like in school you first listen to your teachers who tell you cat is cat BT is bat and like that you read the after someday you can read your own books but in the beginning you have to be taught. So in the same way initially 1:22:36 your parents will teach you good habits gradually if you follow them you learn to do good on your own without somebody always having to tell you. Okay. If we are always this is an interesting question. Are you listening 1:22:52 >> everybody? >> If we are always supposed to honor our parents, why did Jesus call his mother in the marriage at Kaa? Woman, what do I have to do with you? That is the first time that Jesus had 1:23:10 left his home and he was 30 years old. He he would have still called his mother mother. But he was trying to tell his mother Mary, it is a new relationship now. From now on, I'm not going to be here as your son. 1:23:29 I'm here as your savior and your lord. Because Jesus was born as a son, but he's the lord of heaven and earth. And he was more Mary's his mother Mary's savior and his mother Mary's Lord. So he had to make that clear when he became 30 1:23:46 years old that now on I'm not going to be your son at home obeying you. I have to go and serve my heavenly father and do the work I came to earth to do to be a savior. And so a woman to teach her now the relationship between you and me 1:24:03 is not mother and son. But did that mean Jesus did not care for her when Jesus was hanging on the cross with all that pain? He thought of his mother standing there. Joseph, Mary's husband has died. My 1:24:22 mother is old. She was probably 50 years old by then. And who's going to take care of her? I'm the eldest son. So he cared for his mother and he told John, John you take care of her as my mother as my mother as your mother and mother that is 1:24:42 your son from now on. So you see he cared for his mother even when he was dying. What a wonderful example as a son but he had to make clear to her when he started his ministry that from now on I'm not going to listen to you. Okay, 1:24:55 next question. What should I do if I have the same fear and anxiety coming to my mind every day? You must pray. The Bible says when you're anxious, pray. Tell the Lord about it. Cast it on the Lord. It's like if you know, supposing 1:25:10 you're carrying a very heavy bag when you're traveling somewhere. You want won't you ask your dad and mom, "Dad, can you lift this? Is too heavy for me?" Exactly the same way. If you find something is burdening your mind, 1:25:24 say Lord Jesus, hey are you listening or you playing with each other, listen to me. Are you you tell the Lord, Lord, this is too much for me in my mind. I want to put it to you. Okay? So do that. Okay? How 1:25:42 uh put cast it on the Lord. How do I stay encouraged and cheerful when I feel like everything is going wrong? There's a beautiful verse in Romans 8:28. God will make everything work together for your good. Not individually, but all 1:25:55 put together he'll for your good. Have you seen a jigsaw puzzle? Yes. 100 pieces, thousand pieces, one jigsaw puzzle. They each of them look so ugly, but when you put it all together, it's such a beautiful picture. So life is 1:26:12 like a jigsaw puzzle. All these little little things that happen in your life, they look so bad and awkward. I can't understand what this means. But when God puts it all together in your life, one day you'll see in heaven everything was perfect. 1:26:25 Even that ugly-looking piece had a beautiful part to play in this full picture. Remember that. So remember that illustration. Uh, how do I stay encouraged, cheerful when I feel 1:26:45 okay when everything's going wrong? Okay. What should I do when I'm being targeted or bothered? This is some girl, some young girl is asking this question, I think. So what should I do when I feel some man in the church is trying to 1:27:04 touch me or come near to me and targeting me or bothering me or trying to be too friendly to me. You should go and talk to your daddy and mommy immediately and tell them who that man is to protect you because even in the 1:27:23 church some evil men can come. Do you know that among Jesus 12 people there was a crook? Do you know that one bad man what was his name? >> Judas his scariot. But he was sitting in the midst of the 12 but he was a very evil man. So even 1:27:42 in a even if Jesus had one even of 12 people you have a church of 12 people that one of them could be evil. That doesn't mean it's a bad church. Jesus church was a very good church but there was one evil man there. teaching us that 1:27:55 in the best church there can be evil people. So don't trust everybody in your church that they're all good. They are not good. 90% of them may be good in a good church but sometimes there are some bad people sneak in. The devil sends them 1:28:10 just to greet you. We've had problems like that in our churches. But you must go if first is to tell your parents. And if you're older, if your parents are not there, you can tell the elders in the church. But if you do that, 1:28:24 other girls can be protected from that evil man troubling them. And particularly nowadays, there's a lot of this going on. So you girls as you grow up, please be careful that you don't allow older men to come and touch you or 1:28:40 hug you in a bad way who are not your dad and mom or your brother or something like that. Be careful and report it immediately to your parents. very very important. Uh how do I share the gospel with my non-Christian friends? I'll tell you the 1:28:59 best thing you can do for your non-Christian friends is help them and talk to them in a friendly way without giving the gospel. Just love them and help them in some way. When they're doing something, go to help them and uh 1:29:12 talk to them nicely. You don't have to give them the gospel. Just talk to them nicely. Be friendly and one day you'll be able to give them the gospel. So don't immediately have to preach to them. Okay. Then this is another question. 1:29:26 What is the difference between paradise and heaven? Paradise is in the olden days paradise was somewhere else and paradise was taken up to the third heaven when Jesus rose up from the dead and paradise is in heaven today. And 1:29:41 it's basically the same thing. Do people with mental issues go to heaven? Yeah. Anybody can go to heaven who's trusts in the Lord in their heart. Sometimes people with mental issues, they trust Jesus in their heart. Maybe they're not 1:29:55 able to speak well or think well, but in their heart they can trust Jesus and they will be in God's kingdom. Everybody is saved by faith in Jesus. And sometimes we don't know whether these people with mental issues have faith or 1:30:09 not. God knows. But God loves everybody. He loves that person with a mental issue just as much as he loves anybody else. And people with mental issues can also go to heaven. What about a good person who never knew the Lord? 1:30:23 I leave the judgment of those people in God's hands. Cuz God will never punish somebody for something he did not know. But you know, let me put it in a little complicated way. I think of it like this. God knows the hearts of everybody. 1:30:42 And God knows that if that man had heard the gospel, what would his answer have been? So like that God knows whether this guy is fit for heaven or not. That's how he accepts them. But I can't know it because I don't know people's 1:30:57 hearts. So there will nobody will go to hell who deserves to go to heaven. That you can be sure of any religion anywhere. God, if God sends a man to hell, the man deserves to go there. Are there any animals in heaven? No, that's 1:31:13 pretty clear. Uh, and any things you read about horses and all and that in Revelation, it's all picture language. Another question is how do you die with Christ? Die with Christ means I act, I mean not act inwardly acknowledge that Christ has put 1:31:32 my old nature to death. So when somebody comes and treats you badly, think if I'm a dead person, what will I do? Supposing you go and hit a dead person, will he hit you back? Answer me. 1:31:51 >> No. So to act to be dead is if this person comes and hits me, I'm not going to hit him back. If this person comes and calls me a devil, I'm not going to fight back. That is how I die with Christ. Okay. The next question is, 1:32:07 I believe that Jesus is Christ and I feel born again. I have surrendered my life to God. I have a strong desire to do only his will and I hate everything that tempts me and I'm trying my best to be like Jesus. Am I ready to get 1:32:20 baptized? That's a very good question. According to these answers, you got all the right answers. But sometimes uh our answers can be very immature. It's good to grow up till you're come to a certain level of maturity. So even a 1:32:36 three-year-old may have these right desires. And I believe a child can be born again even at the age of three. I met one old lady 83 years old is a fine missionary who told me that she accepted the Lord when she was three years old 1:32:50 and she had a call to be a missionary when she was a very young girl and it was fulfilled in her life. I believed it. But if it's better that you wait till you're a little older before you get baptized so that it is a the decision of a mature 1:33:05 person. You know I myself had heard from people who when their when they were just very young the parents said okay you've accepted the Lord come on get baptized and when they are later on when they about 20 years old they come to me 1:33:18 and say brother Zach my parents sort of pushed me into take baptism but I I hadn't I hadn't thought it all through and I don't feel know whether I was really born again at that time now I feel I'm really born again and I've had 1:33:32 to baptize them a second time actually the first time because the first one They didn't consider it to but their parents were very zealous. My child must be baptized baptized I don't know just to get honor with the other people in 1:33:44 the church or some foolish stupid thing like that. There are foolish stupid parents who want honor more than what is good for their children. Now I'm not saying we should wait too long. I waited till all my children were 17 years old 1:33:58 before they got baptized. That is my choice. I'm not telling you what age you should get your children baptized. But I waited till they personally they they heard the gospel from childhood. They had accepted Christ many times from the 1:34:10 age of three. All four of them. But I said no wait till they have personally taken a decision themselves. The result is they never felt later on that my parents forced me into baptism when I was too young. So I would say I wouldn't 1:34:24 say self you should go to wait till you're 17. But I would certain certainly say until a child is 12, 13 or 15 or 16, it's better to wait because it must not be something later on they feel I wasn't really saved. That's the only reason why 1:34:41 they should be wait no other reason. I'm not but as I told you earlier, you can be born again even when you're three years old. It's a question of not having regret later on that I took baptism early with my parents forcing it or I 1:34:56 know one case in Bangalore where one young chap got baptized because his friends were getting baptized. Oh, this is my best friend. He's getting baptized. I also want to get baptized. He was not fit for it and he backslid 1:35:08 later on. Okay, last question. I know that I am sitting on the throne of my heart, but I want to step down and let Jesus sit on the throne. What a wonderful question. I'm so happy to hear a child writing such a question. I don't 1:35:28 want to sit on the throne of my heart. I want Jesus to sit there. I'll tell you what. Go to Jesus and say, "Lord, I'm really sorry that I sat so long on the throne of my heart and I want you to come there and be the Lord of my 1:35:45 life." And he will accept you that moment and believe it. Receive you. Believe him. Okay, let's bow our heads and thank the Lord for this time. Bow your heads with me. Lord Jesus, 1:36:05 thank you for being with us now. Thank you for helping us know the answers to these questions. Please help us all to follow your example as you were when you were a little boy on earth to obey daddy and mommy 1:36:24 and to read the Bible to seek your help never to fight with anybody not with my brothers or sisters or friends and to read the Bible to grow up to become like you. Help us oh Lord in Jesus name. Amen. 1:36:42 Thank. >> Okay, children, you did great sitting, but you know what's even harder than sitting and listening is speaking. I'd like our children to all stand up and let's give dad a round of thanks for 1:37:00 answering these questions. Thank you. Thank you, Dad. All right, children. You can be seated. You did really well paying attention uh and sitting still as much as you can. Uh so not many announcements. Dinner will be 1:37:19 served at 5:00 in the gym across the the way. Uh we can go outside and spend time playing. I think we've got a couple of cross nets set up. I saw some kids playing soccer on the parking lot. So, uh, we'll meet at just find your way to 1:37:36 the gym at 5:00 for dinner and then we'll be back here a little bit before 6:30. All right. Have fun, children. Thank you.
