0:02 [music] [music] Thank you. [music] 0:25 Okay. And I just go swipe like that. Okay. >> [music] >> Thank you very much. Thank you very much. [music] Okay, let's stand and we can sing a 1:07 chorus to begin [music] this. Spirit of the living God fall fresh on us. We've [music] been hearing theme of the conference, a spiritfilled family life, a spiritfilled personal life. That's what we're longing for. [music] 1:25 Spirit [singing] of the living God, fall on [singing] us. Spirit [singing and music] 1:42 of the living God, [music] fall [singing] aresh on us. [singing] [music] Break us. 2:00 [music] Melt [singing] us. Hold us. [singing] Feel [music] us. Spirit [singing] of the living [music] 2:18 God. >> [music] >> All aression on [singing] us. [music] Spirit [singing] of the living [music and singing] God. Fallon [music] 2:39 me on [singing] me. [music] Spirit [singing] of the living God, [music and singing] fall [music] on me. [singing] Brave 3:02 me [music] [singing] [music] [singing] spirit of the living [singing] 3:21 God fall on me. [music] >> I thank thee [singing and music] all preious Savior 3:41 [singing and music] for all thou has given me. [singing] For [music] blessings so rich and countless, as fast [music] as the [singing] rolling sea, 4:01 [music] thy care and thy [singing] love and falling. So [singing] great are they, Lord, for [music] me. So [singing] great are they, Lord, for 4:18 [music] me. I [singing] thank you for days full [music] of sunshine, for [singing] trials of deepest night. [music] I thank [singing] thee my preious 4:37 [music] savior for thou [singing] guide as all [music] things arise. I faith [singing] oh preious savior [music] for hardships [singing] upon my [music] 4:56 way. I learn [singing] from my trials and burdens [music] to humbly [singing] thy will oy. Thou fillst [singing] my heart with 5:15 gladness and [singing] all things are joy to me. [music] And [singing] all things are joy to me. [music] I [singing] thank thee for days full 5:33 [music] of sunshine, for [singing] trials of [music] deepest night. [singing] [music] I thank thee my preious [singing] savior for thou guidest all things [music and singing] 5:53 arise. My [singing] life in thy hands is resting. [singing] Oh Savior, I thank thee so. [singing] [music] 6:09 Thou gladest my [singing] Lord in all. Yes, you do. That comes as lies way I go. [singing] [music] I thank thee that all thou saidest [music] 6:28 is [singing] only the best for me is [music] only the best [singing] for you. Yes. Thank you Lord. [music] I thank thee for days full [singing] of sunshine, 6:47 for trials of [music] deepest night. [singing] I thank [music] thee my preious savior [singing] for thou guide us all [music] things are 7:05 right. [singing] You know, if you really believe what we [music] just sang, there's a wonderful example we have in a lady named Annie Johnson Flint. Wrote some wonderful poems and hymns. [music] And yet she suffered for almost her 7:24 entire life in deep pain, physical pain um and eventually died still suffering. And yet her her hymns remind us of God's faithfulness that he will never allow us to be tempted more than we're able to bear, but with every temptation and trial we 7:43 face will provide a way of escape. His grace is [music] sufficient for us. He giveth [singing] more grace when the burdens grow. He [singing] sendeth for strength. When 8:03 the labors increase [singing] [music] to add affliction, he added [singing] his mercy [music] to [singing] multiply 8:18 trials. His multiplied peace. [music] His [singing] love has no limit. His grace has no measure, his power no boundary [singing] known unto men. 8:37 For [singing] out of his infinite riches [music] in Jesus, [singing] he giveth and giveth and giveth [singing] again. When we have exhausted 8:57 [singing and music] our store of endurance, [music] when [singing] our strength has failed and the day is half [music] done. When we reach the [singing and music] end of our 9:14 resources, our father's forgiving [singing and music] is only begun. His [singing] love has no limit. His [music] grace has no measure. [singing] 9:32 His power no boundary known [music] unto men. Pour out [singing] of his [music] infinite riches in Jesus. He giveth [singing] 9:50 and giveth and giveth again. Fear [music and singing] not that thy need shall exceed his proision. [singing] Our God ever [singing] years his 10:07 resources [music] to share. [singing] Lean hard on thee [music] are everlasting unfailing. [music] The Father's [singing] both thee and thy love will appear. 10:26 [music] His [singing] love has no limit. His grace has [music] no measure. His power no boundary [singing] known [music] unto men. For [singing] out of his infinite 10:45 [music] riches in [singing] Jesus he giveth and giveth. [music] He giveth and giveth. He giveth and giveth and giveth 11:02 again. >> Another wonderful hymn. In the second verse, if you're able to pull up that slide, uh in the middle of that verse, we'll say was we sing the protection of his child and treasure. That's you, dear brother, 11:22 dear sister, dear child. your protection protecting you in whatever you might face ahead. Protecting you. He has protected you in all the things past. That protection is a charge that he put on himself. The protection of his child 11:39 and treasure [music] is a charge that on himself he laid this hymn day by day. And with each passing [music] treasure, each passing moment, do we have that hymn? Day by [singing and music] day and with 11:59 each passing moment strength I find to [singing and music] meet my trials here. >> Sing from all your hearts. Trusting in [singing] my father's wise bestow. I have no cause for [singing] worry or 12:19 fear. [music] He whose heart is kind [singing] beyond all measure gives [music] unto each day what he deems [singing] best. [music] Lovingly 12:36 is part of [singing] pain and pleasure. Mingling [music] with peace and rest. Every day [singing and music] the Lord himself is near me 12:54 with a special mercy for each child. [singing] All my cares fame would [singing] bear and cheer [music] me. He whose name [singing] is counselor and power. 13:13 The [singing and music] protection of his child and treure is a [singing and music] char and on himself he live as thy days thy [singing] strength shall [music] be in measure 13:31 is a pledge [singing] to be made. [music] will be [singing] there in every tribulation. [music] So to trust thy [singing] promises, oh Lord, [music] 13:51 that I lose not [singing] faith, sweet consolation, suffered [music and singing] me within thy holy word. Help me Lord [singing] when toil [music] and trouble me 14:10 [singing] to take [music] as from a father's hand. >> One by one [singing] the days of moments [music] fleeting till with Christ [singing] the Lord I 14:29 stand. There's another old hymn we'll sing. Actually, almost all ones we sing are old hymns. [music] I love these. But here's one that says, "Little is much when God is in it." 14:47 Think about it, dear brothers, sisters, even children. It's not what the world thinks of as big and great. In fact, everything that the world says is big and great. God detests. It's an abomination to him. So don't chase after 15:01 what the world is impressed by. Little is much if God is in it. And listen, even for you children, there is a crown waiting for you. Jesus Christ wants [music] you to reach the end of your life as we heard even in this last 15:15 session. Living a a useful life as a crown that he planned for for you to wear. A crown that he won. Not anything that you deserved or earned. a crown that he won when [music] he finished the work on Calvary, but he wants to give it 15:30 to you. There's a crown and you can win it if you go in Jesus name. >> In the harst field now [singing] ripened, there's a 15:47 work for [music] all to do. Hearken the [singing] voice of [music] God is calling to the [singing] harvest calling you. Little is much when [singing] God is it. Labor [music] 16:06 not for wealth or faith. There's a crown and you can win it [singing and music] if you go in Jesus name. In the mad rush of [singing] the 16:25 Broadway, [music] in the hurry and the strife, tell of Jesus [singing] love and mercy. [music] Give to them the word of life. Little is much [singing] 16:42 when [music] God is in it. Labor not for [music] wealth or fame. There is a crown and [singing] you can win it [music] if you go in Jesus name. Does the place [singing] 17:03 [music] you're called to labor seem so small and [music] little to know? It is great [singing] if God is in it. [music] And do not forget his own little [singing and music] 17:21 when God is in it. They were not for well for [music] fame. There's a crown [singing] and you can win if [music] you go [singing] in Jesus name. >> Are you laid [singing] 17:42 aside from service? [music] Body worn from toil and care. You can still be in the battle [singing and music] in the sacred place of prayer. [singing] Let us watch 18:01 when God is in it. Lay your not for wealth or faith. [singing] There's a crown and you can win if you [singing and music] go in Jesus name. >> [music] 18:19 >> When the conflict here is [singing] ended and our race on earth [singing] is run, [music] he will sing if we are faithful. Welcome home [singing] [music] my child. Well done. 18:39 Little is much [singing] when God is in. Labor not for [singing] wealth or faith. [music] There's a crown [singing] and you can win it [music] if you go. >> Oh, [singing] do you believe it? Let's 18:56 sing it again. Little is much [music] when God is [singing] in it. Labor not for wealth or faith. [singing] There's a crown and you can [music] win it if you go in [singing] Jesus name. 19:15 [music] >> Savior [music] [singing] thy in love [music] thou gavest me thee. 19:31 Nor should [singing] I ought withhold dear Lord from thee. In [singing] love my soul would bow [singing] my heart [music] 19:50 fulfill it. [singing] Come offering [music] bring me now [singing] something for thee. >> Let [singing] 20:07 the bless mercy sing pleading [singing] [music] for me. My fear [singing] stop Jesus 20:24 [music] to thee. Help [singing] me be the cross to bear. My wonderous love [singing] declare [music] some song to raise or pray 20:44 some [singing] for thee. [music] Give [singing] [music] me a faithful heart like to thee, [singing] that [music] each departing 21:04 day, henceforth [singing] they may see [music] some work of [music] love beun, some [singing] need of kindness [music] 21:20 done. Some wonder [music and singing] for thee. [singing and music] All that I am and have [singing] 21:38 thy gift so free [music] in [singing] joy and grace [music] through life [singing] dear Lord for thee. [music] And when [singing] 21:57 thy face I see, my ransom soul shall be through [singing] all eternity [music] [singing] somee. [music] And when my [singing] face I see 22:23 my ransom [music] soul shall [singing] be through all eternity [music] something [singing] for [music] thee. >> Amen. Please be seated. 23:25 >> [clears throat] >> One of the most important things in the Christian life is to know what God is really like. We have from the beginning heard that 23:49 the Christian life salvation is to obtain eternal life. The wages of sin is death. Romans 6:23. But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. We know it is a gift. So we come to the Lord and confess our sin. Acknowledge that we are 24:07 sinners. believe that Christ died for our sins on the cross and took the punishment for all our sin past, present and future on the cross. It becomes ours when we repent and confess, not when we confess. When we repent and confess, very 24:24 important. I feel that many Christians have not understood the importance of repentance. I spoke a little bit about it yesterday. Repentance is an about turn. Once I was facing the world, my self-life, making money, living for myself and God 24:40 was behind me and repentance is turning right around and when I faced God, all those things I was living for have become behind me. I want to ask you, was your repentance like that? The things you lived for, 24:57 have they all come behind you now? or are you turned only 90 degrees with one eye on what you're living for, another eye on God. This is how most Christians live and they keep walking and they don't make any progress towards God because 25:12 they turned only 90°. If you want to make progress towards God, picture this in your mind. I was spend living my life for myself and all the things that the world wanted. And I repented instead of turning right around to face God and everything that he 25:30 wants. I turn 90 degrees and I go to church and I read the Bible and I pray and I do every single thing and I wonder why I'm not pray making progress towards God. Because you turned 90 degrees instead of 180 degrees. I want to encourage you during this 25:51 conference to ask God to show you where you need to turn a little more towards the Lord. Where repentance is not just 50% but 100%. And the devil will always tell you, you'll miss out on so many things. You will not. You're already missing out on 26:11 the best things in life by turning only 90 degrees. That's why your life is so frustrating. That's why you have so many complaints. And that's why you still yell at your wife or yell at your husband. All that will disappear if you turn to 100 count 26:27 180 degrees towards God. I'm telling you by my experience, it's a wonderful life. And the devil always says you won't be happy you turn 180 degrees towards God. You have to enjoy some things in this life. You have to watch some of those programs 26:45 that are not so clean on the internet. You have to spend a lot more time on the internet than reading the Bible. That's what the devil says. You got to spend a lot more time on the internet than reading the Bible and reading the reading books about 27:04 spiritual things. Books about spiritual things are boring. Look how interesting the internet is. Uhhuh. Why is the internet so interesting? And why are the things of God so boring? 27:22 It's a work of the devil. He's changed the taste of things in our mouth and made us think that things which are harmful for us are interesting. And you know whenever somebody wants to poison someone, he 27:38 will not put the poison in a bitter cup, it'll be a sweetest possible drink into which your enemy will put poison. So it is in the sweetest possible thing that the devil put some poison in to destroy you. But the bitter cup which God gives, 28:01 there's no poison in it. That's the wonderful thing. God may sometimes take us through some difficult or bitter experiences but there'll be no poison in it. It'll sanctify us and make us better. Jesus came to explain God as I said in 28:18 our last session to explain that the father in heaven loves you more than anyone else. So when we speak about I've got eternal life. What is eternal life? Turn with me to John chapter 17. Nobody explained that this definition of 28:37 eternal life when I got converted and I never heard it for all the years I was in those different churches that I went to. I had to find it out for myself. If someone were to ask you what is eternal life, my guess is that 90% of you will say it 28:55 is to live forever. That's not eternal life. People who go to hell live forever. Do they have eternal life? No. The demons live forever. Do they have 29:12 eternal life? The definition of eternal, don't get it from the dictionary. Get it from the Bible. There are a lot of things which are defined in the dictionary which are not the way we get it from the Bible. many things. 29:27 You can't learn humility from looking up the definition of humility in the dictionary. Jesus said, "Learn from me, for I am humble in heart." Matthew 11:29. So if you want to learn humility, you cannot get it from the dictionary. 29:46 You get it by looking unto Jesus. So eternal life, John 17 verse three. Here is the Bible dictionary which explains what eternal life is. My dictionary is the Bible. I want to know what eternal life is. I 30:05 turn to the Bible and look at a concordance and find out where is eternal life. Oh, John 17:3. And Jesus defines it. This is eternal life. That they may know you, the only true God. Know you means to 30:21 know how holy you are, how good you are, how humble you are and demonstrated in the life of Jesus whom you have sent. No one has seen God at any time. But now there is no excuse because Christ has come to earth and we have a 30:40 Bible that has described the earthly life of Jesus. And God wants to show that to us more and more and more. Eternal life is not living forever. Eternal life is knowing God more and 30:59 more and more. So I can possess more of eternal life every day. Some people think I accepted Christ. I got eternal life. Did you get any more after another year? No. I got it on the day I got converted. That's a wrong definition of eternal 31:15 life. Knowing God is a progressive thing. And believe me, as I've come to know God more and more, this has changed my life. It's knowing God that changes our life. It's knowing God that has changed my attitude to other people. 31:33 It's knowing God that has made it very easy for me to forgive people. Do you find it difficult to forgive people? We spoke about forgiveness last night. You find it difficult some particular person how in the world can I forgive? 31:48 I'll tell you if you know God through Jesus Christ you'll find it's the easiest thing in the world to forgive the worst thing that anybody did to you. It's because you don't know God. Make it the pursuit of your life to know 32:04 God. Lord, I want to know you better. You know what Paul prayed? Lord that I may know him and the power of his resurrection and be conformed to his likeness. That's what we should pray. Lord, I want to know you better. I want to know you 32:23 better. In in the Old Testament, husband and wife relationships called knowing. The man knew his wife, but that is only a physical relationship. But that is the type of it's a picture 32:44 the physical relationship of man with a woman is a picture of the relationship God wants to have with us in our spirit. The closest physical relationship on earth is not father and son. It's a husband and wife. You know that. But 33:02 that physical rel relationship which drives a man and woman to be together, to get married and to enjoy that relationship frequently is a picture of the type of spiritual relationship God wants to have with me. Not physically, but in my spirit. God is a 33:21 spirit. And I'm when I become a Christian, I'm married to Jesus Christ. He's my husband and I his bride and I can have as intimate a relationship with Christ in my spirit as 33:39 any husband and wife can have in their body. And as much as a husband and wife enjoy their time together in the body, I enjoy my time union with Christ in the spirit. Do you have that type of enjoyment in your spirit relationship with Christ as 33:55 a husband and wife have in their body? If not, you're missing the most important thing in the Christian life. You sit back and say, "I'm going to heaven." That's like a wife who says, "I got a big palace that my rich husband has 34:07 provided for me as a home." That's not what I'm looking for. I'll tell you honestly, I am not looking forward to go to heaven. You does that surprise you? I'm looking forward to being with Jesus Christ wherever he is. if he's going to 34:26 live on earth for the next 10 million years, I say, I want to be there. I don't want to I don't want to be in heaven. I even told the Lord this. I said, Lord, I'd be happy to be with you in hell if you are there because hell will not be 34:40 hell anymore for me. To me, heaven is the presence of Jesus Christ. And that is why I have begun to experience heaven even now. It's a wonderful life, the Christian life. Imagine experiencing heaven on earth. It's not the golden streets and 34:58 the mansions. I have zero. God is my witness. I say before him, I have zero interest in golden streets and palatial mansions. What will I do with a 14-bedroom mansion in heaven? You can have it. I don't want it. I want to be with Jesus wherever he is. 35:16 I want to walk with him every single moment of all eternity. And I'll tell you something, every moment of that eternity, I will learn something new about Christ because he's infinite. And in the few years that I've known him 35:32 on earth, it's been so exciting for me to know this wonderful savior, to know him personally as an intimate friend to whom I can talk to him. First thing I do in the morning every day before I get out of bed is talk to my 35:50 beloved savior and friend. Do you do that? It'll make a difference for your day. It'll make a difference the way you treat your wife or your husband or your children or anyone. The way you treat difficult people in the office. If you 36:09 begin your day, as soon as you wake up, say heavenly father or dad. I call him dad because there's a Hebrew word called aba which is translated into English as dad. 36:27 And it says in Romans 8:16, the spirit of God fills us and cries out abba calls out daddy. One mark of being filled with the Holy Spirit, one mark is I look up to heaven and say, "Dad, 36:45 no person in the Old Testament, even John the Baptist could not call God. I can, you can. He's my father." Jesus said when you pray say our father who art in heaven 37:04 dad our father who loves me more than anyone loves in the world who cares for me more than he cares for the birds. He provides food for every one of the millions of sparrows in the world. The only thing he'll provide for me, his 37:24 child, I don't have any fear that he will take care of me till the end of my life. And that's what we are called to prove on the earth. You you may not be called to full-time Christian service like I was called 60 37:42 years ago, but I have proved in these 60 years that God takes care of me without my ever depending on any human being, without ever receiving a salary or anything. It's unbelievable. That's how the apostles lived. That's how Jesus 37:57 lived for the last three and a half years of his life. There are many things about the life of Jesus that he wants to show us because he wants to make that your life. You know, when we receive Christ into our heart, he comes in the presence of the Holy 38:15 Spirit and the purpose is to communicate to us more and more of the life of Jesus as we walk with him. But to experience more and more and more of that, you must ask the Holy Spirit to show you how Jesus lived on earth and 38:34 how Jesus reacted to the different circumstances. When he says follow me, think of it like this. There is no situation in your life, it doesn't matter what your complicated situation is, no matter what difficult, how difficult your family is, how difficult 38:51 your boss is, whatever sickness you may have, it makes absolutely zero difference. The Lord says if you follow him, he who follows me will have the light of life. The Lord will give me light for every situation I face on earth. And 39:09 I've already experienced that for 67 years. And it's become brighter and brighter. Do you know that the light that God gives you is to become brighter and brighter and brighter? We are never supposed to backslide. The light you 39:24 have today should become brighter by next year. Just like your children grow taller every year. The light in your life must become brighter, never become dim. That is the reason why God wants us to be filled with the Holy Spirit. The 39:40 Holy Spirit has come to bring to us the life of Jesus. So eternal life is not length of life. It is quality of life. It's the quality of life that God has not living for eternity. As I told you, the devil is living has got living for 39:58 eternity. Demons live for eternity. People who go to hell live for eternity. That is not eternal life. It's not quantity. We measure everything on earth by quantity. with God. It is quality. Quality that matters more than quantity. 40:13 Like in a church, even in a church, many preachers assess a church by size. How many people in your church? 100. Oh, has it become 500 now? Oh, you're a blessed man. Not at all. If they have the other 400 who added were all backsliden 40:28 people. That's not a better church. It's a worse church. Jesus had only 12. You ask Jesus, "How many people in your church?" 12. And one is a crook. What sort of church is that? And that was the finest church that they had on earth 40:41 which turned the world upside down for 2,000 years. 11 people Jesus had that turned the world upside down and the effect has lasted 2,000 years later. What a I'd rather have people like that than say my church has got 100 people or 40:56 200 people or we've got so many 100 churches or 200 churches means nothing. What is the quality of the people in it? the not the number of people, the quality. It's better to have one child who's wholehearted than 10 backsliden 41:12 children. It's better to have a church with 11 people who are wholehearted disciples like Jesus had than a whole lot of people sitting there who fight with each other at home and quarrel and love money and all that type of stuff. What kind of 41:25 church is that? And that's how most churches are. And that's why God wants to have a pure testimony in every place where people are willing to sacrifice. Sacrifice is one of the principles that Jesus demonstrated in his life. His 41:42 entire life was a life of sacrifice. I ask people this question, you know, Bible quiz. Here's a Bible quiz. Let me know how many of you if you heard if you heard me ask you this before, you know the answer. But all the others here 42:00 there are four gospels that you know what is the last verse in the last gospel and what does it teach us the last verse in the last gospel and what do you learn from that I will read it to you John 21 verse 25 42:21 after writing all that was written about Jesus life in four wonderful gospels what is the Last thing the Holy Spirit says. The last thing you've read all the four gospels. You think you know everything about the life of Jesus. You do not know. 42:37 The last verse says there are many other things which Jesus did which if those were written in detail I suppose even the world will not contain be able to contain the books 42:55 that are written about all the other things that Jesus did and I read that a longing comes in my heart I want to know those other things that Jesus did when you read the four gospels aren't excited at the things that you read that Jesus 43:10 did. Can you imagine if you could know about all the other things that Jesus did which are not written in the four gospels? I was excited when I read that verse. I said, "Lord, I want to know those other things. I've read through the gospels, 43:25 four gospels, so many times, perhaps a hundred times. And I know everything that Jesus did. I know how many people he raised from the dead. And I know how he brought Lazarus out of the grave and everything I know. But there's still so much more that he 43:42 did. Is it possible for me to know if there is so much information there that he says the world cannot contain the number of books? It's an amazing verse. I want to ask you all, how many of you have meditated on this last verse of the 43:57 last gospel? Because when you meditate, not just read and forget. Many people read and forget. I don't know how many of you knew what that last verse when I asked you that question today. How many of you ever 44:15 thought of it that there are many many millions of other things that Jesus did which are not written here? And when you read that, do you have a longing to know? I have a tremendous longing to know because I'll tell you 44:31 why because I want to pattern my life after that. I want to know how Jesus lived at home. I want to know he was a he was a he was a carpenter. He was not employed by somebody else. He he ran his own shop. I don't know what 44:47 what type of things he was making. If he was making stools and benches and tables I want to know how did he deal with customers? How did he deal with a customer who cheated it? How did he deal with a customer who didn't pay the bill? 45:03 And supposing one once he was making a table and there was a slight crack in the table and he put some putty in it and polished it up and so that you couldn't even make out there was a crack. Would he tell the customer who 45:14 came that there's a crack there and tell him you don't you you can pay less for that table because there's a crack here which I've covered up. I learned something from that. That is how I must treat customers. I must be 45:25 absolutely honest. Well, sir, in this table there was a slight crack here. So, I put fill it up with potty. That's what Jesus would have said. And uh you you can pay less for it. Are there Christians who do business like that? Who are righteous down to the 45:44 last dot? They are the bless most blessed people on earth. There are many things that Jesus did. How did Jesus respond when as a young boy he was playing whatever was the equivalent of baseball in those days? All games are a bat and a ball, whether 46:03 it's cricket or baseball or anything. And there must have been some type of game there that Jesus went to play with other boys. And when it came to his time to bat, the most important time, his mother calls him from home. Jesus, come 46:16 here. What do you do? What does a 12-year-old child do when it's his turn to bat and his mother calls? You can teach your children what Jesus did. He dropped his bat and went to see his mother. Mommy, what do you want? 46:35 And all the other boys would have teased him. And he goes home and his mother says, "Jesus, go and get some water from the well. They don't have taps those days. The water's run out. Can you go and take this bucket and go and get some 46:47 water from the well?" And Jesus goes and does that, brings the bucket. 12-year-old boy. And he comes back. By the time he comes back, his turn for batting is over. And all the other boys are mad at him. Because of you, we lost 46:59 the lost the match. You mama's boy running away. When mama calls you, you should have been here. Told mama to wait. Not Jesus. Jesus would not tell Mama to wait. He'd drop his bat and go. 47:17 Why do I say that? Because that's how I want to live and that's how I want my teach my children to live to obey their parents. And that's why it went so well with Jesus life because he the little things. These are the little things. You say, you say, 47:35 "Brother Zack, where did you read that?" I read it in John 21:2. I'll tell you many other things I learned in John 21:25. lots of things that the Lord showed me. And you say, "How did he show it to you?" I'll tell you. There's no partiality. What he did for 47:54 me, he'll do for you. The answer to John 21:25. How to discover it is revealed in John 16. That's how I discovered it. And you can discover it, too. It's in your Bible, too. how to discover the things that Jesus did which I want to know because I want 48:13 to live like that. John 16 verse 12 I have many more things to say to you but you cannot bear them now. Really Lord, you mean there are things 48:34 not written in the four gospels which you want to tell me? And the Lord says yes. I want to ask you, have you heard anything from Jesus which is not written in the four gospels? Or is your knowledge of what Jesus teaching limited to the four gospels? 48:50 Not mine. I went to John 16:12 and he told his disciples, I cannot tell you certain things because you don't have the Holy Spirit. Next verse, when the Holy Spirit has come, he will tell you all those things which I cannot tell 49:07 you now because you cannot understand them without the Holy Spirit. Do you know that when you get the Holy Spirit in you, he'll give you revelation on the things which the average human being, any human being cannot understand 49:23 with his natural ability. If you try to understand the Bible and Jesus with your mind, you will get less than 1% of the knowledge of Jesus. 99% of the knowledge of Jesus comes through the Holy Spirit revealing to you things which are not written here. The 49:42 spirit is here and it's from the scripture he'll show you things which you can't read with and understand with your mind. I'm not talking about things outside the Bible. I'm talking about things in the Bible which you can't see 49:55 it. Let me show you a passage here before I go further. 2 Corinthians 3. You probably hear things from me which you probably never hear in any other church because that's one of the things the 50:15 Lord taught me when he called me to serve him. He said, "I want you to read the Bible and I want you to hear what other Christians are preaching. Read their books." I read many Christian preachers. I've listened to many Christian 50:32 preachers in my life. And the Lord said, "Now read the Bible carefully and find out the things that others are not preaching. And I want you to preach them." So that's my calling. My calling is to preach the things that other Christians 50:47 are not preaching but which are in the which what the Holy Spirit wants us to know. It's something like you know uh supposing there's a a a picture a painting a drawing uh without not without any color and you tell your 51:02 child I want you to color this. See this this is the picture of what it should look like maybe a painting of a scenery or some flower garden or something and here's the outline of that. Now use these color pencils and put exactly the 51:16 same color here on this side. Make it look exactly like that picture. And you know how children are, they'll go outside the border and they'll forget to fill up some gaps. That's how a lot of Christian preaching is today. So many 51:31 things which are not taught by most preachers. That's what the Lord told me. Read the Bible and see the things which are there which you've learned by revelation of the Holy Spirit and then listen to what other people are 51:41 preaching and teach what others are not teaching. Why should I teach? I mean if a child has already filled up one part of that painting, I don't have to go and color that again. I look at all the other parts which the child did not fill 51:52 up and I have to teach that. That's why a lot of things I teach are not taught by others. Those are things which in the Bible but which are not obvious. Okay, here it is. 2 Corinthians 3. I need this handkerchief. 52:11 Verse 15. To this day, when they read Moses, there's a veil. Here's my handkerchief. I put it over the Bible and I try to read it. I get a few faint words here and there. This is how reading the Bible without the Holy Spirit's power. You get a few 52:30 things here and there. Ah, my sins can be forgiven if I forgive strain and I hardly get anything. Do you find it like that when you read the Bible that you hardly get anything out of it? There's a veil over it. But when the veil is taken away, 52:48 when you turn to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Which Lord? Verse 17, the Holy Spirit. This is the only place in the Bible in the go in the New Testament where the 53:05 Holy Spirit is called Lord. In every other place is Jesus Christ is Lord. But here the Holy Spirit is called Lord. He is the Lord. And when a person turns to this Lord, 53:22 this veil is taken away. And wow. I see something there that I never saw till now. I'll tell you, it's amazing what the Lord began to open my eyes to when I was baptized in the Holy Spirit 51 years ago. I had been seeking God many, many years 53:41 because I was so defeated in my life, so discouraged and defeated. And I said, "Lord, I know there's an answer to this in the Bible." And the answer is to be filled with the Holy Spirit. And I don't want a shallow experience. 53:55 I grew up in a brethren assembly when I was first born again 67 years ago. And I'm very thankful for them because they emphasized the study of the Bible. And I was very thankful. I didn't know the Bible. And I began to study it. I was 54:08 with them for eight years. Studied the Bible. Studied the Bible. And but it was all academic knowledge, head knowledge. In the brethren assembly, there was zero emphasis on the Holy Spirit and power. If anybody talk about the Holy Spirit, 54:21 it was almost like he was considered a heretic, false teaching. So I didn't know what to do because I saw in the Bible that Jesus spoke about the baptism of the Holy Spirit. And I said, "Lord, there's something I don't I seem to have missing because the Bible 54:36 seems so dry so often." Do you find the Bible dry? I don't find it. But I did find it in the beginning. Academic knowledge. It was lighting. It's like studying some complicated physics book or something like that. Heavy stuff. 54:51 And somebody told me, "Brother Zach, you need to go to the Pentecostals. They are the ones who talk about the Holy Spirit." I said, "Okay." I don't know who the Pentecostals are. I was a new believer and I said, "Take me there." 55:05 So, one brother who happened to know somebody in the Pentecostal church took me there to a Pentecostal pastor. I'm giving you my testimony. I'm not criticizing anybody. I'm giving you my testimony, the honest truth. I was about 55:19 23 years old. I was in the Navy. So, I went along to this pastor's house. This man took me there and I said,"I want to be filled with the Holy Spirit. I want to be baptized in the Holy Spirit and fire like John the Baptist said Jesus would 55:35 do it." And he said, "Okay, kneel down here with me." I said, "Sure." And this is the honest truth what he told me. He said, "Keep saying hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, keep on saying it and after some time, maybe 55:51 an hour or so, your tongue will trip. and suddenly you'll begin to utter some other syllables and that is speaking in tongues and you will be filled with the Holy Spirit. I said, "No, thank you sir. That is not the way the apostles got the fullness of 56:08 the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost and that sounds to me counterfeit. I don't want it. I'm not looking for speaking in tongues. I'm looking to be filled with the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ. That will make me more like 56:21 Christ in my life." But the Pentecostal that man anyway was only interested in he thought speaking in tongues is fullness of the Holy Spirit. I said no. So I said goodbye to the Pentecostals. I love them but I never went back to a 56:37 Pentecostal church again. I went home. I was in the naval base. I had a room to myself. I said Lord why do I have to I went here. I went there. I don't get the real thing. Now you tell me how to be anointed with the Holy Spirit and power. 56:51 And you know what the Lord told me? Look at how Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit. And I looked there and I read that Jesus went to John the Baptist to be baptized. 57:09 And you know that story or most of you know it. If you don't know it, turn with me. Matthew chapter 3. Jesus went to be baptized. John Matthew 57:26 chapter 3 and Jesus, you know, baptism, by the word, the baptism, that's another thing. Today, they talk about child baptism. That's because we don't know the word baptism, what it means. First of all, the bapt baptize is not an 57:44 English word. That's why we don't know the meaning. Baptize is a Greek word which is imported into the Indian language into the English language and nobody knows what it meant. You know in the year 1611 King James of England authorized the 58:03 Bible to be translated. That's what is known as the King James version. The first most well-known version of the Bible is the King James version is called King James version because in the year 1611 King James said okay I 58:15 authorize you to translate. Till then the Bible could not be translated. A lot of people were killed for trying to translate the Bible. But then finally the king authorized it in England and there came out the first authorized. 58:26 It's called the authorized version or the King James version. But King James said to all the leaders of the church when you translate the Bible please don't translate something that'll disturb church traditions. because England had just broken away 58:44 from the Roman Catholic Church and become Protestant and he didn't want any complications and he said don't disturb church traditions when you translate the Bible be careful in other words don't put something there which will create some problem in the 58:59 church so here were these honest god-fearing translators they came to this word which is very early in the gospel of Matthew Matthew chapter 3 that John the Baptist baptized people. The Greek word is baptizo. Baptto. Baptiso. 59:18 And they knew Greek very well. Baptiso means immersed. They should have translated it. And John the Baptist immersed people in the water. And Jesus was immersed in the water. And and Jesus will immerse you in the Holy Spirit. But they said we dare 59:37 not translate it as immersed because in the Anglican churches there children were sprinkled. There was no immersion there at all. And they they were scared. King James had told them, "Don't you dare shake church traditions. Don't talk about 59:56 immersion or any such thing." So what to do? They they couldn't tell a lie. They couldn't translate it as Jesus will sprinkle you. How can they he said winkle that's not the right translation that would be dishonesty they were 1:00:10 god-fearing people so they did a very clever thing they in invented they added on this word the Greek word baptizo into the English language and called it baptized which nobody knew the meaning what it meant because it was a new word 1:00:27 and people got this King James version and they read about they were baptized oh what's that oh I presume assume that's what they do to children in the church. That is how they talk about child baptism. Baptism means immersion. 1:00:46 That's the only thing. There is no such thing as a sprinkling baptism. That's garbage. They did it to save their necks so that King James doesn't hang them for translating it as immersed. But now we know what it means. He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit 1:01:04 means he'll immerse you in the Holy Spirit. You'll be drenched with the Holy Spirit from top to bottom. The Holy Spirit will make you like Christ. Matthew 3:11. So I said, "Lord, I want this." And then I saw how Jesus was anointed. 1:01:23 It says when Jesus was baptized or immersed verse Matthew 3:16 he was immersed in the water and as he came up from the water he Jesus John the Baptist didn't sprinkle water on Jesus' head he immersed him and then as he came 1:01:41 up from the water the heavens are open and the spirit of God came upon him and anointed him and the Lord showed me from Romans 6 you know what immersion means means immersion means you're allowing your old self to be dead and buried and a new person 1:02:01 rising from the dead. Immersion in water. The bapt real baptism in water is saying I want my old self to be dead and buried and I want to come out as a new person in Christ. That is the meaning of baptism. 1:02:20 Many of you who were baptized probably did not know that's your testimony. And then the spirit of God came upon Jesus and the Lord spoke to me. You don't have to go in here and there to seek for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. 1:02:34 If you allow me to lead you into situations where you have to die to yourself and allow people to put you down and you accept it, I will raise you up and I 1:02:51 will anoint you. So I decided that's the way I want to go. I choose to die with Christ. In every situation, to my own choice, to my own will, to everything that I want, I die with Christ. The Lord has promised to 1:03:09 raise me up. I will not submit to that death if I think I'm going to be buried there. See, every person who submits to water baptism believes that the guy will lift him up. I would not submit to an enemy baptizing me. He'll put me down in 1:03:24 the water and leave me there. And so I I don't believe the Lord will leave me there if I die to myself. He will lift me up and anoint me. And what the Lord said to me that day, I remember it so clearly. 1963 because I was fed up with seeking 1:03:38 baptism and Holy Spirit in the Pentecostal church. I came home and the Lord said, "This is how Jesus was anointed. Submit to other people putting you to death inwardly. Accept it. I will raise you up and the power of the spirit will 1:03:54 come upon you. And the Lord said to me, "The day you decide not to walk this way, my spirit will depart from you." I was scared. Ah, Lord, I never want to go away. This is the way of the cross. This is what 1:04:12 Jesus meant when he said, "If you want to follow me, Luke 9:23, take up your cross every day and follow me. I need to be filled with the Holy Spirit every day. And this is the way. Every day go down and say, "Lord, I'm willing to accept death to myself in 1:04:31 every situation. When I'm tempted to do something, tempted to look at something which is sinful, tempted to speak something that is sinful, die." Do dead men look at anything? No. Do men say anything? No. Die. I will raise you up and put my words 1:04:50 into your mouth. Because you refuse to speak those angry words, I'll put my words into your mouth. Because you refuse to gossip with your tongue, I'll put my words on your tongue. You know why many people don't have the 1:05:02 anointing of the Holy Spirit when they speak? They are using their tongue for gossip, backbiting, rebuking, telling lies, and getting angry with people. Why in the world should God put his word on your tongue? Never. You'll have a counterfeit message. 1:05:20 Die to choosing your own words and God will put his words on your tongue. There's a price to be paid. You can't corrupt the word of God by mixing it with your gossip and your backbiting and your anger and your bitterness and say, 1:05:35 "Lord, now put your word on my tongue." He will not do it. It'll be a corrupt word that comes out of your mouth. It'll be a corrupt message that you preach to other people. Die. This is why from that day onwards I 1:05:51 have preached death to self. And my favorite verse has been 2 Corinthians chapter 4. It's not a favorite verse for many Christians. It is for me. 2 Corinthians chapter 4 1:06:10 and verse 10. Always. Always means 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks of the year. Always carrying about in my body the dying of Jesus. What is this dying of Jesus? It's 1:06:29 not the physical crucifixion of Christ. I I've never been crucified physically. I don't think will ever be crucified because they've got rid of those type of punishments nowadays. But it's that inward dying of Jesus. What did Jesus 1:06:42 die to inwardly? If I understand that and I accept it, the life of Jesus will be manifested in my body. Wow. Just think of that little expression at the end of verse 10. The life of Jesus 1:06:59 being manifested through my eyes, through my tongue, through my hands. The life of Jesus coming forth. Wow. Lord, there's nothing else I want. 24 hours a day. I want the life of Jesus to come forth from me, especially from 1:07:18 my tongue. Not just when I'm in the pulpit, when I'm at home, when I speak to my wife. When I speak to people who are angry with me and who yell at me, I want the life of Jesus to come forth from my 1:07:34 tongue. What is the secret, Lord? The Lord says, you got to die. What is this dying of Jesus? And then I began to try to understand what is this? And the Lord said, allow others to push you down. This is 1:07:52 baptism. Allow others to put you to death. Don't resist it. Don't resist the person who's putting you to death. Accept it quietly. I will raise you up and my spirit will come upon you. And I tell you, I've experienced it. 1:08:11 It's easy for me to preach now. Many people find it a big struggle to preach. I was never a public speaker in my younger days. I was the most shy, the most reserved, the quietest boy in my class. 1:08:30 People laughed at me when they heard that I was joining the military. They This is Zach, you're going to defend our nation, you timid old young fellow. That's what I was. But when God fills you with the spirit, you become another 1:08:45 person. You're changed into another man. But you have to accept the dying of Jesus 24 hours a day. Lord, I die to myself. In other words, you know, the dying of Jesus. 1:09:04 Let me read this in Luke 9:23. If you're not familiar, this is one of my favorite verses. 2 Corinthians 4:10. I read it to you. Luke 9:23. If anyone that's important anyone is your name there. 1:09:22 Yes. Anyone means you anyone wishes to come after me? Don't you want to come after Jesus? Is anybody here who doesn't want to follow Jesus? If you don't want to follow Jesus, I have no message for you. But if any anyone 1:09:41 maybe you're the worst prostitute demonp possessed like Mary Magdalene, you can be the first in the kingdom of God. Anyone wants to come after me. My brothers and sisters, I believe all of you have taken the trouble, spent the 1:09:59 money to travel here and come here and taken the trouble to come because you want to go after Jesus. I believe that everyone sitting here even the younger ones even those who have made a miserable failure of their life you've 1:10:12 come here because you want to become a better person you want to follow Jesus I really believe that even if other people around you don't believe it I believe it otherwise you wouldn't be here listening to me so you qualify you wish to come after 1:10:28 him okay then here's the answer for you must deny yourself number One, deny yourself means you must say no to the voice of self that speaks up from you. And the voice of self is always clamoring inside you to do this, do that, say 1:10:48 this, say that. When he speaks to you like this, say this back to him. When your husband speaks like this, you tell him like this. When your wife speaks like this, you speak to her like this. Say no to that voice. Put it to death. Immerse it. 1:11:05 Think of baptism. This voice is coming up within me to speak to your wife like that. Speak to your husband like that. Speak to that person like that. Bury it. Take a baptism there. Immerse that voice. Immerse that person 1:11:20 and take up the cross. That is death. That is the dying of Jesus. And follow me. What will be the result? 2 Corinthians 4:10. always 24/7 carrying about in this body this attitude of the dying of Jesus because 1:11:39 Jesus died to himself all the time. He denied himself all the time and I'll prove that to you from how Jesus lived in John chapter 6. I won't teach you anything which is not in the scripture. John chapter 6 and verse 1:11:58 38. I call this the autobiography of Jesus. We have four biographies of Jesus. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. You know what a biography is? The story of man written by somebody else. Autobiography is the story of man written by himself. 1:12:15 Is there an autobiography for Jesus somewhere? A description of his life written by himself. People say no. I say there is. It's in John chapter 6 and verse 38. What did Jesus do in his entire 33 and a 1:12:33 half years? Here it is in one verse. A one-s sentence autobiography of Jesus Christ. I came from heaven and Lord what did you do for 33 and a half years on earth? Give me an autobiography. In one sentence he describes his entire life on 1:12:50 earth. I never did my own will but I always did the will of my father. In one sentence he described what he did for 33 and a half years. That is the life of Jesus. He never did his own will but always the will of his father. Did he 1:13:09 have a will of his own? Yes. Otherwise there's no virtue in saying I never did my own will. A beggar saying I gave up all my wealth. There's nothing great about that. If a millionaire says it, it's something. If Jesus did not have a will of his own, to 1:13:25 say, "I gave up my one will means nothing." He had a very strong will of his own. He never did it. He always said, "Not my will." Even on the last day of his life on earth in Gethsemane, what was the great struggle going on? 1:13:39 Not my will, but thine. To the most painful decision that he ever had to take in his whole life. Till then for 33 and a half years whenever he said no to his own will it was easy. When the high priest and the others questioned 1:13:59 him there was a desire to desire to answer back and the father said keep quiet. He kept quiet. He didn't reply and they pestered him. Why don't you say no? He kept quiet. 1:14:17 He died to himself. The desire to defend oneself, he died. He never did his own will. And in Gethsemane when he was facing the greatest struggle of his life, the greatest struggle of Jesus' life was when he came near to the cross. 1:14:35 Not the physical pain of the cross. He was not afraid of that. Not not even physical death. He was not afraid of the shame, ridicule, mocking, all that was okay. But one thing, when you hang on that cross, first three hours it'll be okay. It'll 1:14:51 be just pain. The pain of hanging on the cross. But the last three hours, your father will cut off his connection with you, the connection that you've had for all eternity. Now, that doesn't sound terrible to us. 1:15:09 I'll tell you why. Because even Christians many time in their life their connection with God is broken because of some sin and they are quite happy. For example, let me give you an example. You haven't forgiven somebody. Your 1:15:23 connection with God is broken but you don't know it. But you're quite happy. Haven't some of you lived with an unforgiving unforgiving attitud. But do you know that all those years your connection with God is not as good 1:15:35 as it should have been? Your Bible knowledge remained the same. You went to church and everything. You didn't commit some gross sin. You didn't commit adultery. But your connection with God was not what it could have been if you 1:15:46 had forgiven that person. A little bit of that connection, it's like the 110 volts in your electricity came down to 10 volts. I didn't disturb you. It didn't disturb you that the lights were not working because it is not 110 1:16:03 volts anymore. That is the condition of most Christians. They don't realize what they lose for the time which they have not forgiven somebody or because they answer back to their wife in the same angry tone that the wife spoke to them or reply to 1:16:21 somebody else or do a slight little unrighteousness in money matters. They don't realize they've lost something of the life of God. They paid a price for that lie they have told. And the price they paid is a little bit of the life of 1:16:34 God is gone. A little bit of the fellowship has gone. has gone down. The voltage has come down and they seem to live comfortably with it. Jesus could not. He did not want the fellowship of the father to be broken even slightly. That 1:16:50 which he enjoyed for all eternity. To be cut off from his father was the most terrible punishment you could give to Jesus. And he came near it. It pained him. Pained him. Oh father, what you and I have enjoyed together for 1:17:07 eternity. It's much so great. There's no way to express it in human terms. A billionaire losing his billions, a trillionaire losing his trillions is nothing. No way to explain this. A man with perfect health becoming a sick person cannot 1:17:23 explain it. Even that is not a good explanation. There is no human explanation that can explain what it means to that the fellowship that Jesus had with his father for all eternity to be broken. And he struggled there. And 1:17:41 I can imagine I used to I pictured this in my mind many years ago when I sought you know when I read the scriptures I say Lord make this real to me that the Holy Spirit make it real to me. the things which are not written in the 1:17:52 scripture which you said the world will not contain the books show me something about it what went through Jesus' mind in Gethsemane it's not written in the scripture and I pictured it something like this that the father telling Jesus you have 1:18:09 lived for 33 and a half years on earth never committed a single sin in thought word deed attitude motive perfect life you have pleased me perfectly You can come straight up to heaven from Gethsemane. You qualify. But 1:18:28 if you do that, I was praying. But that this is what the Lord showed me. The father telling Jesus, if you do that, Zach will go to hell. Zach is going to be born another 2,000 years later, but he'll go to hell. And Jesus knows the future. His 1:18:51 will go to hell. Okay, father. I'll go to the cross. I cannot tell you what it did to me. 1:19:18 The day I saw it, I said, "Lord, I will never never live for myself again for the rest of my life on earth. I'm not interested in money, honor, comfort, 1:19:36 anything. As you gave yourself for me, I give myself to you in a more meaningful way than [snorts] I've ever done in the past." It changed the direction of my life. [snorts] I was always a Christian from the time I was born again. 1:19:55 But I understood that day what it meant to take up the cross. So many people talk so glibly about taking up the cross, dying to self. That day I understood what it cost Jesus to save my soul. I could no longer sing. 1:20:17 about the cross lightly were the whole realm of nature mine that were an offering far too small. Love so amazing, so divine demands my soul, my life, my all. 1:20:36 Or many people think of the physical suffering on the cross. I used to see those movies when I was a little child of you know movies made of Jesus and whenever I saw Jesus being crucified I would weep every single time but it was 1:20:50 the physical suffering but the day the Lord showed me how Jesus said if Zach has to go to hell then I'll go to the cross it changed my life completely you've heard me say that you can put your name there but it won't mean the 1:21:09 name him. It won't mean the same until you seek God desperately and say, "Lord, reveal it in my heart what it meant for you and where would I be if you had not gone that way." It'll change your 1:21:26 attitude to sin completely. You will never raise your voice in anger against anybody after that. You'll be finished with that because that's what took Jesus to the cross. You'll never love money after that. You will never be 1:21:44 unrighteous in any area after that. You will never fight with another believer for anything after that. You will stand for righteousness. You will never lust after a woman after that. You'll be loyal and true to your wife. Even in your thoughts from 1:22:00 that day onwards, your entire life will change. If you can see Jesus, the things that are not written in the gospels, the dying of Jesus, if you bear it, the life of Jesus will come forth from you. You cannot produce 1:22:19 the life of Jesus. You accept the dying of Jesus, he will produce the life of Jesus in you. This is called the exchanged life where I exchange my rotten, corrupt, Adamic life for the Christ life. I can only testify to it. I cannot give 1:22:38 it to you. I can tell you how I found it. And I can tell you that God will do the same for you if you seek him diligently. Hebrews chapter 11 and verse 1:22:57 6. When you come to God, this is faith. What is faith? Hebrews 11:6. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. Hebrews 11:6. We all talk about faith, but we don't know what 1:23:17 faith really is. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. But when you come to God, this is what faith is. You must believe that he is that God exists. There is a God up there. He's not non-existent. There is a real God more real than any 1:23:36 human being I know. More real than my brothers and sisters and my wife and your husband or parents or anybody more real than that. There is a God. The reality of that God many even believers don't have. There is a God who's more real than any person you know 1:23:51 on the earth. And you must believe that he's a rewarder of those who seek him diligently. That's what the King James version says. And that's where I love the King James version translation. He's a rewarder of those who seek him diligently. He is a 1:24:08 rewarder. This is faith. Faith is to believe that if I seek God diligently, he will reward me. And I seek God to be filled with the Holy Spirit, he will fill me with the Holy Spirit. If I seek him diligently, if I seek him half-heartedly, I'll get 1:24:24 nothing. And if you got nothing, you did not seek him diligently. This word cannot fail. You cannot say God did not reward you even though you s sought him diligently. You did not seek him diligently. If you did, he would have rewarded you 1:24:40 with the fullness of his holy spirit so that rivers of living water would have been flowing through you without any effort. You know, you know the difference between a hand pump and a river. We have hand pumps in the villages in 1:24:52 India because there are no there's no water supply in the v in the houses. So in some places the government puts up pumps connected to some underwater uh pool or something and you have to pump and pump and pump and water comes 1:25:06 out. That was my Christian life for many years. Even preaching the word boy it was a struggle. Pump and pump and pump and pump and pump and I could say something. Many of you preach the word. Be honest. There are many preachers sitting here. 1:25:25 How do you preach? You pump and pump and pump and pump and pump and something comes out. It's not supposed to be like that. You think Jesus did like that? You think Jesus pumped and pumped and pumped and pump finally got some words out of his 1:25:39 mouth? It was a river that came out of Jesus' life. If you seek him diligently, he will do the same for you. These are the things not written in the 1:25:53 four gospels which Jesus can do. I'll for this session anyway I'll conclude with John chapter 16. John chapter 16. >> [snorts] 1:26:13 >> How to find out the things which are not written in the four gospels which the world cannot contain. What all Jesus did. What a statement that is. The world cannot contain if it is written down all the things that Jesus did. And I say I want to know it. 1:26:31 Lord, I'm passionate to know that. I'm not so passionate to read the news or to go to the internet and find out how the war is going on and what the price of oil is and what the economy is like. Yeah, I read it one sentence 1:26:48 finished, but I'm not passionate to know that. I'm passionate to know the things that were not revealed in the four gospels. The things that Jesus did and said and thought, is it possible for me to know? The Lord says yes, he's a 1:27:02 rewarder of those who diligently seek him. John 16. [snorts] Verse 12 is a similar word. I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot understand them now because you don't have the Holy Spirit. But when the spirit of truth is come, 1:27:22 he will guide you into all the truth. This here's something the Holy Spirit will do. That last verse of John's gospel you read things which are not written in the gospels here it is the Holy Spirit last part of verse 14 the 1:27:36 Holy Spirit will take of those things of mine which are not written in the gospels and he will show them to you wow that's where I got the answer to the last verse of John's gospel the things which are not written in the gospels 1:27:52 when the Holy Spirit has come he'll take of the things of mind things of mind But I don't need the Holy Spirit to read what's written in the Gospels. That Jesus raised the dead. Even a heathen can read it and say that Jesus raised up 1:28:05 Lazarus from the dead after 3 days. You don't need the Holy Spirit for that. That Jesus healed the sick. Jesus cleansed the lepers. You don't need the Holy Spirit to know all that. Any unconverted non-Christian can know 1:28:18 that. But the things which are not written, John 21:25, those things only the Holy Spirit will show you which are not written here. He will take of mine. Take of mind means the things in my life which I lived for 33 and a half 1:28:31 years on earth. He will take those things the Holy Spirit and disclose. Disclose is not tell you. There's a difference between telling you something and disclosing something. Disclosing is hey this is a secret. Don't tell anybody else. This is just 1:28:48 between me and you. That's called disclosing. Something that is hidden like the confidential secrets of a nation are disclosed by some top officials to somebody. The Holy Spirit will disclose them to you. I read that 1:29:05 and say, Lord, I want it. Even even if other Christians don't want it, I want it. And I don't want it because I want to preach about it. That is seeking honor. I want it for my life. I want to say that to you dear brothers and 1:29:18 sisters. Don't seek it because you want to go and preach that to somebody else. That is seeking honor. You will not get it. You say, "Oh, I would like to say some of those things which brother does Zach disclose certain things. I'd like to 1:29:31 talk about that. You'll ruin yourself seeking your honor. Don't seek honor for yourself. You'll get nothing from God. You'll get a lot from the devil if you seek your own honor. When you come to the Lord, death to self. A man who's buried under 1:29:51 water. What is he seeking? Dead. I've understood the way of the cross like this. What does it mean? Jesus, take out the cross and follow me. I picture a dead man here. Tell me, what is he seeking? How much honor is he seeking for himself? 1:30:08 Completely dead. Not like children playing dead and pretending to be dead. No, no, no. really dead. What is he seeking? Any honor? Zero. The Lord says, "Be like that. Seek zero honor for yourself." Uh 1:30:28 how will he react to somebody who says, "You're an idiot. You're a good for-no person." No change of expression. Fantastic, isn't it? That is taking up the cross. Somebody else comes along say, "Oh, you're a great prophet. You're the 1:30:45 greatest man of God I have ever met." No change of expression. That is dying to self. Have you got there? You can get there if you want to. If you seek for it. Seek and you will find. He's a rewarder of those who 1:31:04 diligently seek him. You've been seeking for money. You've been seeking for power. You've been seeking to become a great preacher. Forget all that. Seek to die from today onwards and you you'll get far more than you seek. You'll get the resurrection life 1:31:19 of Jesus Christ. Amen. Let's pray. Heavenly Father, help us we pray to seek for the things that are eternal of eternal value. Everyone here change our lives Lord. Change the direction of our lives. Help us to live for you 100% and 1:31:38 not just play the fool with Christian words. Help us we pray in Jesus name. Amen. As I was listening, I was I was thinking 1:32:15 that the things that brother Zach has experienced and revelation that he's received that each of us have to experience it for him for for each of ourselves. It's not something that um one can give to another. 1:32:34 If you're hungry, no matter how much I eat, I can never satisfy your hunger. You have to eat for yourself. And I was thinking just as the Lord revealed all these things to brother Zach, I said, "Lord, I want for myself also these things to be 1:32:52 revealed." And just like a physically blind person can't see things that are physical, I can't see anything that's spiritual. These things must the Lord must open the eyes of my heart. And there's a beautiful promise in John chapter 9. 1:33:11 John chapter 9:39. And Jesus said, "For judgment I came into the world, so those who do not see may see." Those who do not see may see. And I said, "Lord, I also I can I can see physically, 1:33:29 but there's many things spiritually that I don't see. I get a taste of it in meetings like this, but I want to experience it for myself." Lord, I pray that Lord that you would open my eyes that this word that you spoke here in John 9:39, 1:33:47 you came into the world that those who do not see spiritually may see that you'll reveal those to me. And so, may the Lord do that for each one of us. We've come here. We desire to see these things. May the 1:34:02 Lord open our eyes to see them. There are a couple of announcements that I'd like to make. Um, so we heard about baptism and many of you uh are here. Jesus said, "Go into the world and make disciples and 1:34:21 baptize them." And I know that there's an interest in some to get baptized. So, if you want to get baptized, you can meet with us, uh, the elders of the local church here at RLCF. If you're interested in getting baptized and, uh, 1:34:40 we can speak with you and, uh, and, um, if you want to get baptized, you can talk to us about that. Uh, so you can meet us even right after this meeting, you can uh, come and meet one of us and speak to us about that. if 1:34:58 you're interested in taking baptism. Uh another announcement and this is for those uh especially those who are in the atrium uh if you're in the atrium and you can hear me um we we want to uh want you to know that during the time where the meeting is 1:35:18 happening here um that the time over there is also very important. So if you can refrain from speaking and conversation during the meetings um that will be that's very important because we want to make sure that those of you who 1:35:35 are sitting there are also able to hear what's being spoken here. So if you're sitting out in the atrium uh please refrain from speaking during the times of the meetings. And lastly, uh, children who are six years and 1:35:53 older, we want you to come and sit in the front for the next session. So, in the next session, children who are six years and older, please come and sit in the front. The next session is going to be for the children, the Q&A. And so, we want you 1:36:11 to be to come in the front. Please um parents help them to bring their Bibles and a pencil and paper to write notes. So uh parents of the children uh just help them by bringing their Bible and a notebook and a pencil so that they can 1:36:28 take notes uh for the next session. So we'll have time in the next 26 minutes or so. At 1 p.m. we'll stop collecting the questions. So any children who haven't asked your questions, you have a uh up till 1:00 to put your questions in 1:36:45 the box. And we'll be uh eating now shortly. So uh let us pray and then we'll go and eat our meal. Heavenly Father, thank you. you've spoken to us. 1:37:03 And I pray, Lord, these words that we've heard, I pray that you would write them in the tablets of our heart so that you'd give us a desire and also the ability to fulfill these things. We pray that you would open the eyes of our hearts, 1:37:19 every single one from the youngest child to the oldest. I pray Lord that you'd open our hearts to see you in our hearts, Lord. I pray Lord that you would become that hidden treasure for which we would sell everything Lord to purchase. 1:37:35 You would be the pearl of great price that there would be no price that we would not pay to have you. I pray that you'd do this. I know this is a miracle but I believe that you can do this miracle in each of 1:37:49 our lives. We ask in Jesus name. Amen.
