at that third verse as you know in our church we're very keen we know what we're singing 9:38 the broken cisterns that's just vessels but they're broken the things of this earth they're broken there's a lack in them and we tried them haven't we all that sin we tried all of those broken cisterns and they failed us every single earthly 9:54 system you've tried sister you've tried has failed and then when i stooped to drink it fled those pleasures of the earth that seemed so attractive the pleasures of lust the pleasures of the love of money the pleasures of the 10:07 reputation of people the moment we tried to drink of them they mocked us it ended up in dissatisfaction and then i love that last verse i didn't weep for thee until grace opened my blind eyes to receive his loveliness this is what it means to 10:26 be a christian dear friend don't miss it the loveliness of christ this and this alone is what it means to be a follower of jesus you're taken up with him where you can truly say none but christ can satisfy let's sing that chorus again 10:39 now none but christ [Music] joy lord 11:01 jesus lift your voices give him thanks he's worthy to be [Music] worthy to be praised thank you for opening my blind knives this is your loveliness despite my unworthiness and despite how filthy i was 11:21 when you came and mentioned from me and picked me up you took you captivated my eyes with how wonderful you are truly i'm grateful to you truly i mean it more that you would be exalted you will be lifted up and thank you lord have the highest 11:34 place in my life for my thoughts my ambitions and my goals my desires and how the highest place lord help you help me the son of your love in the sight shine over my life so much that all the things of this world turn deep lord turn pray let's let's prayer let's lift up our needs to him he wants to hear from you talk to him dear brother dear sister your friend however you you want to talk to him 13:05 he'll welcome you you don't have to use special words you don't have to use a special way of speaking he wants you to talk to him as you would talk to your own father as you would talk to your dearest friend that's who jesus 13:17 is this is the new covenant no longer do i call you servants but you are my friends you are my brothers you're my sisters talk to him use this time and i and develop a habit of constant prayer constant communication talking to him father we do thank you 13:34 and praise you thank you lord that you have heard our prayers you've heard our praise and we believe it was heard in heaven lord just by our simple faith and the fact that we have come to you with cleansed hearts cleansed hands 13:47 that we've lifted up to you and you receive that praise lord because you see our lives you know that our lives despite our our mistakes despite our failures we long to be pleasing to you that's our one ambition whether in heaven or here on this earth to be 14:00 pleasing to you that's our only ambition lord and we know that those praises are meaningful we look to upload our needs any spiritual needs any who are battling in sin lord uh addicted in any way or uh those sins that beset us 14:14 lord i pray that you will break those bonds in the name of jesus those besetting sins break them in the name of jesus i pray and set them free lord any who are listening to this prayer we need to be set free any relationship 14:26 lord for any marriage that's that's cold or even uh separation coming in lord i pray in the name of jesus that you'll heal that marriage bring unity lord you said that your that the glory we would receive from you was the unity as you and the father were 14:41 one and we claim that unity in the name of jesus for our marriages for our homes for our relationships with our children come lord and bring unity restore the hearts of us as fathers to our children and the children to us 14:53 fathers lord we we come to you in accordance with what you have promised already you said it would be so that that in the last days before you came lord that you would through your holy spirit draw the hearts of our parent of the 15:05 parents to the children so do that preserve our children lord as they grow up in this age lord as the world continues to accelerate towards passing away till it's completely dead i pray lord that their eyes will be open 15:17 to see your loveliness by the example they see in us in our lives by the example and the in our ambitions and goals and the things we're pursuing that they too will want to be your disciples with everything within them touch them lord even now during this 15:31 meeting touch them this week as they're in school whatever they're doing lay your hands on them let them lord come to know you have their eyes open as only you can through your holy spirit and pour out your holy spirit upon them 15:42 as we ask for you to do it upon all of us lord that we might know you more intimately that the love of god may be shed abroad in our hearts a greater passion lord to to show your love to those around us to have boldness lord to speak 15:56 prophetically as you give us opportunity thank you you've heard our prayer pray for our physical and material needs as well lord pray for those who are facing job situations during this time of economic uncertainty lord we look not 16:10 to the things of this earth but we look to you our hope is in you who created all things you own the cattle on a thousand hills you're able to supply every need through christ jesus our god is able to supply every need through christ jesus thank you lord 16:23 we trust you for that we don't look to anything else not even our bank accounts not our job security or how things might be here around us lord we know it's shakeable this everything in this world's shakeable but you are our one unshakeable rock our 16:36 firm foundation you're a tower and the righteous can run into you and are saved and we thank you for that so lord we commit our job situations our material needs also for healing lord for those who are sick we've already prayed but we pray 16:49 again in faith you said that the fervent effective prayer of righteous people can accomplish much and lord we unite together in prayer this morning to lift up to do to you those who are in need physical need or healing lay your hands on them lord you don't 17:04 even need our hands to do it necessarily you do it lord wherever they are if they're at home or somewhere else lay your hands on them and heal them and lord i pray you'll bring an end to this disease that's going around the world 17:14 lord that we can bring freedom we pray for many of our brothers and sisters and your people and even the people of this world in different parts of this country where it's getting significantly worse lord i pray you'll bring an end to it lord and 17:25 stave it off lord jesus for a little while longer we ask for help for our bodies not that we can live for ourselves but that we might further your kingdom that we might while the fields are still ripe for harvest do the work of the 17:37 laborer that you've called us to do on this earth our bodies are for you lord so we know you are for our bodies we praise you for you will do that you will keep us in health thank you thank you lord jesus you've heard our prayer and you will answer 17:50 we trust you you are our father you are our hope thank you in jesus name amen here's a new song we'll learn it's a song of dependence on god for freedom from sin comes not from our own 18:09 strength but from leaning on the lord coming into his light not hiding our sin and when temptation comes leaning on him for grace to stand in faith so that we will not yield sing with us if you know it it's a exalted and the intro chorus goes like this oh to be safe from myself this is the secret to being saved from sin it's being saved from myself to be lost in him and no more i but christ living in me pretense i'm not i'm not praying or singing or looking or crying or smiling to look good to others to look spiritual to others no pretense 26:24 no show and let christ be the gatherer of the spoil the
