Last week we had a promise from Galatians 3:13 and 14. 29:27 Galatians 3:13 and 14. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law. of the spirit through faith. Brothers and sisters, remember this 29:48 verse that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. That is in Deuteronomy 28. You read about the curses and blessings. And God has redeemed us from all that. Not only that, from generational curses. What 30:07 some of the charismatic preachers preach, they say you have to get rid of your generational curses and they pray for that and they write books on that and make millions of that. This verse says clearly, show them this, 30:25 that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law and from all the curses, generational curses included, so that you might receive the promise of the spirit through faith. Then we will 30:42 go to this vers, this week's verse, which is a command from Colossians chapter 4:E 2. Today we are going to listen to a message that uh dear brother um Ian Robson whose birthday was yesterday he's not with us this year 31:38 and in his memory we want to play this message and let's listen to that carefully then after that we will sing a Um this let us those of you who are 32:05 seated here have the assurance that you've been washed in the blood of Jesus. He shed for you on the cross. Not just believing, but that you have repented of your sins. That there was a time in 32:24 your life that you repented of your past sin and made a complete turnaround. Put things right with God. Put things right with others. 32:42 Ask for forgiveness where you had to. And that today, not just one day long back, but even today that you're walking in the light as you and I have been reminded. If we walk in the light, we 33:01 have fellowship with him. And the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all unrighteousness. That's so important that today what we heard the world has crept into the church. The church today 33:20 walks hand in hand. But thankfully we have sought to uphold a pure testimony for the Lord in CFC for 47 years. But the church is like the jungle that 33:37 you know grows, encroaches without us even doing anything. But we have watchmen, shepherds, not masons who plaster up cracks, 33:55 but shepherds who are shepherds after God's own heart, who watch out for the wolves. And uh but with all our watching with all our whatever we do like Jude says there some who creep in the church unnoticed 34:14 they are marked out for condemnation and destruction they don't take the warnings seriously the last breaking of bread we heard so powerfully from brother Charles and That's so clear just 34:36 where we are when it comes to being part of the family of God, being part of the body of Christ. That's what we've sought to build in these 47 years. We don't build a name for ourselves. The church goes on and we thank the Lord 34:55 for godly elders. The Lord has given us shepherds after his own heart. But I want to encourage all of you here. Make sure that you're here because you have repented not just once long ago, but you will 35:14 live in a continual repentance every day. And then when you are to put things right, you put things right and you walk in the light. Not just on Sundays and not just once a month but every breaking of bread. Then whatever we 35:34 do and whatever we hear will really add value to our life and walk with the Lord. Otherwise it's just you're listening to another message. And I don't have a message to give you, 35:51 but I have something that has blessed and challenged my heart so much. The Lord's supper and the breaking of bread. It's not just that we remember the death of the Lord till he comes as 36:09 we are told as often as we do it. But it's a love feast. It's a love feast. whether you recognize it or not. And there are two beautiful truths 36:25 the Holy Spirit reveals to us. We have heard it so often through the years that we see how intensely Jesus loves us. See how intensely Jesus loves you and Jesus loves me. 36:45 Do not lose sight of it. I'm afraid we can allow what we have heard through the years to boil down to rules and regulations and a culture, a CFC culture that we adapt ourselves to, 37:03 we fit into and we get a seat in the church, we get a seat in CFC. But I hope you found life after joining this church like we did 37:21 more than 47 years ago when we were tired of uh all that was going on in the denominational church where people didn't want to hear the truth. They didn't want the whole council of God. They didn't want the baptism of the Holy Spirit. He is the 37:41 one. If he's not there, then we're just having we are just having meetings. We are hearing messages and we become a congregation right from day one. But thank the Lord, it's never been like that. What happened 47 years ago, the 37:59 church was born of the Holy Spirit. We had to pay a price for that. Not just once but all through our lives in the church from many sides from family from relatives 38:18 from uh unbelieving relatives friends there's a price to be paid but we were gripped with something and it was a love of Christ that brought us together and once that goes out of your life and 38:36 mine. Then like what we heard in that clip from brother Zach, they begin to walk hand in hand. You're a stranger. Jesus said, "My sheep hear my voice and they follow me." He says, "A stranger they will not follow." 38:56 They do not know the voice of strangers. You read that in in John 10. They know his voice. You know the voice of the shepherd. I hope you know the voice of the shepherd. You hear the shepherd's voice. If you don't, possibly 39:14 you're a stranger and you've somehow got into CFC and you because we don't have any uh restrictions. We open the breaking of bread to those who 39:33 are born again and baptized in water that you feel you qualify. I want to say this to you love my dear brothers and sisters. See where you stand today. Today in relation to the Lord whether you love him like you loved him at the beginning. 39:51 I I keep crying out to the Lord. Lord when I think back how I loved you what I was what I was willing to give up. Nothing mattered to me. I quit my job. I was content to sleep on a mat on a pillow in an office that paid me 200 40:10 rupees and cuz I loved the Lord and uh gave up my ambition to become an officer on the railways and because I loved him and he did something so great for me that no religion that I 40:29 tried to follow did for me. So if you are following CFC as a religion, it has not changed your life, it has not made a difference, then you're sadly in the wrong place and you need to really repent and turn to the Lord. So I think there are two 40:49 beautiful truths the Holy Spirit reveals to us. how intensely Jesus loves those who love him, who are willing to give up everything for him. And we read that in one of them in Luke 22. 41:08 Luke 22 and verses 14- 20 it says there when the hour had come Luke 22:14 he reclined at the table and the 41:25 apostles with him and he said to them I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. I have earnestly desired. He looked forward to that meal. He 41:42 looked forward to that time. Not with all the ones who professed to be his disciples. The 70 70 plus people who left him, but just 12. But even one of them there was a traitor. But he says, "I earnestly 42:01 desire to eat this Passover with you before I suffer for And he said, "If I say to you, I shall never again eat it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God." And when he had taken a cup and given thanks, he said, "Take this and 42:18 share it among yourselves. For I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine from now on until the kingdom of God comes." And when he had taken some bread and given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body which is 42:34 given for you. Do this in remembrance of me." In the same way, he took the cup after they eaten, saying, "This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood, but behold, the hand of the one who 42:51 betraying me is with mine on the table." They began to discuss among themselves which one of them it might be. I like that the humility that they were willing to think Lord is it I in one place. He said Lord is it me? Is it I? 43:11 And Jesus had kept it so discreet they didn't even know what Judas was up to. They didn't even know that he was pulfering from the from the money box. And he professed he put on an act for three and a half years that nobody knew 43:29 except Jesus. Jesus saw through him. So you can do put on act and act for three and a three and a half years or even oh 30 years or 40 years and nobody knows but then one day it'll be revealed. 43:48 But I like what I like that foot. He says, "I've earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer." And then the second time that we read in John chapter 13, 44:04 John a very beautiful word there. I often think of it. John 13 verse1 it says John 11:12. And I encourage you to read, not just read, but meditate on it. 44:22 And uh John 11 where Jesus uh raised Lazarus from the dead, a family that he was close to. And then John 12 and uh 13 where he celebrates the feast of the Passover. Verse one. Jesus 44:39 knowing that his hour had come that he would depart out of this world to the father. Having loved his own, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end. And if you have a margin there, it says to the uttermost. 44:58 Oh, eternally. He loved them to the uttermost. Somebody said from the guttermost to the uttermost. I know he picked me up from the gutter and he's loved me and loved me to the uttermost. 45:16 I've known that love for more than 54 years. From the guttermost to the uttermost, that's how he loves us. Whatever your life had been, if he's picked you up from the gutter, picked you up from the street, he's brought you out from the 45:35 world, he loves you intensely. Don't lose sight of that, my dear brothers and sisters. And that's what we are reminded about in the breaking of bread, that he loves us intensely. 45:53 And we see that demonstrated so wonderfully there in what happened in that upper room, the last supper as it's called. And that's what we celebrate as we break bread 46:09 together. We love because he first loved us. And in John chapter 12 verse 3, Jesus knowing that the father had given all things 46:31 into his hands, come forth from God was going back to God. And uh he you know you know I'm not going to read that where he laid aside his garments and took a basin and washed his disciples uh feet 46:50 and uh sorry that's uh 13 but John chapter 12 John chapter 12 uh it tells us there Jesus there for 6 days before the Passover over. 47:07 Did I say John 12:3? No, I I read from 13, isn't it? He loved loved us to the uttermost. But John chapter 12, I want you to see this. Jesus, therefore, 6 days before the Passover, 6 days before this meal, came to Bethany where Lazarus 47:25 was, whom Jesus had raised from the dead, they made him a supper there. This is a private meal. You know, Martha again was serving. They made him a supper there. Lazarus, Martha and Mary, this was their home. 47:42 They owned it. Somebody said that they owned the whole village of Bethany. I don't know about that. And uh so there must have been quite well to do. But Jesus loved them as it says there. He loved being in their home. 48:01 And uh Mary the youngest the sister youngest sister took a pound of very costly perfume of pure nard anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped his feet with her hair and the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume. 48:19 But Judas's scariot one of his disciples was intending to betray him said why was this perfume not sold for 300? He knew the cost of it and given gener that's the US wage. It says if you have a margin equivalent to 11 months wages 48:37 only one year's wages you can calculate what that is. It was very costly. So he said that not because he was concerned for the poor but because he was a thief and had and had kept the money box and he used to pill for what was put into 48:54 it. And Jesus said, "Let her alone so that she may keep it for the day of my burial. For you always have the poor with you, but you do not always have me." And uh she anointed the feet of Jesus with this 49:13 one. It says that she took a pound of pure nad you know costly perfume anointed his feet and wiped it with her hair and in Mark chapter 14 I'm not getting into the theology of whether the two anointings three 49:32 anointings but I wanted to say something that has blessed my heart in Mark chapter routine says while he was in Bethany verse three at the home of Simon the leper and 49:52 reclining at the table now this is the same village where Lazarus Martha and Mary was while he was in in Bethany at the home of Simon the leper he's obviously healed of his leprosy reclining at the table there came a woman with an alabaster while a very 50:10 costly perfume of pure nard and she broke the vial and poured it over his head. But some were indignantly remarked to one another, why is this perfume being wasted for this perfume might have been sold for over 300 dra the money given to 50:29 the poor. And you know who said that? And Jesus said verse 6, let her alone. Why do you bother her? She has done a good deed to me for you always have the poor with you and whenever whenever you wish, you can do good to them. But you 50:44 do not always have me. She has done what she could. She has anointed my body beforehand for the burial. She has done what she could. I like that word. She has done what she could. And uh 51:04 some say I was doing a little study on this and I quite agree with it that it's the same Mary who anointed his feet with one pound of this pure nard perfume. 51:23 And in Mark 14 and Matthew 26, you can look at it sometime. It's it's the same. It's it's a woman doesn't give her name but who brought this alabaster box 51:42 of perfume where earlier she had given just she had taken one pound of it to anoint the feet of Jesus. Now she breaks it and pours it on his head. And we are told that the whole house was filled with the 52:01 fragrance, with the perfume. In Luke chapter 7, you read, we're not doing a Bible study, but I'm just trying to help you to see just what what these women did. 52:24 Luke chapter 7. This is another woman who is a sinner. The woman we are told in John 12 is Mary. In Mark 14, there's no name. It's but she's not a sinner. It's just a woman who came with 52:44 her alabaster box of perfume. Matthew 26 is the same woman just before Jesus's dead two days. 6 days earlier she anointed his feet and two days before the p before his 53:00 death, two days before the Passover, she brought the whole vial of alabaster perfume, broke it and poured it over his head. And here in Luke chapter 7, this 53:17 is another woman who was a debtor who came and we not going to take time to read it, but you can look at it and meditate and ask the Lord to give you revelation. That's what I asked him. I don't get into theological discussions 53:33 about this, but it blessed my heart the message that comes through of what these women there did. And the Pharisee there says one of the Pharisees requesting him to dine with him. And he entered the Pharisees house and reclined at the 53:48 table. And there was a woman in the city was a sinner. And when she learned that she was reclining at the table in the Pharisees house, she brought an alabaster vial of perfume. standing behind him at his feet weeping. She 54:04 began to wet his feet with her tears, kept wiping them with the hair of her head and kissing his feet and anointing them with a perfume. And um you know the Pharisee, interestingly, he had the same name as Simon the leper was healed. Simon the 54:23 Pharisee. He read there because Jesus spoke to him directly. And uh Jesus answered, Simon, I have something to say to you. And he replied, say teacher. The money lender had two debtors, one owing 500 NRA, the other 50. When they were unable to repay, he 54:41 graciously forgave them both. So which one of them will love him more? was Simon the Pharisee had the right answer like we all can have the right answer. He said I suppose the one whom he forgave when he said you have judged correctly. 54:58 Do you see this woman I entered your house you gave me no water for my feet but she wet my feet with her tears wiped them with her hair. You gave me no kiss but she since the time I came and has not ceased to kiss my feet. You did not 55:14 anoint my head with oil, but she anointed my feet with perfume. For this reason, I say to you, her sins which are many have been forgiven. For she loved much, but he who was forgiven little loves little. Then he said to her, "Your 55:29 sins have been forgiven." Those who are reclining at the table with him began to say, "Who is this man who even forgives sins?" And he said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you. go in peace. 55:45 I hope you see get the message there. What Mary did in her home when she took the pound of ointment and anointed the feet of Jesus, wiped the feet of Jesus with her hair. 56:03 It was an expression of love. What was done? And the same Mary who felt that she must give everything not just one pound. And she brought that same alabaster box, 56:19 broke it and poured it on his head. And I I was looking up that that to that is it was very very costly perfume. This spikenard this oil of spikenard a very costly perfume. 56:38 And Mary and Martha and Lazarus probably were quite well off that they that Mary probably saved up enough money to to buy that box of perfume of pure spike n. And 56:55 this woman and this other woman in in Luke chapter 7 was a prostitute that with her earnings she bought this costly perfume either otherwise he couldn't buy it. And Jesus was willing to let that you go to the Old Testament it says that 57:14 a prostitute's earnings could not be given to the Lord. But Jesus allowed this woman was a sinner because she repented. She saw how much it was an expression of love. She didn't feel guilty that what she had earned 57:31 through her sinful life and she broke it at the feet of Jesus in repentance washed his feet with her hair with her tears and anointed it with this perfume. All this both these women 57:49 what they did was an expression of love. Mary later, two days before the Passover, she brought that same box of spine spike nut where she she put taken out one pound and broke the whole thing 58:05 and poured it over the head of Jesus. I hope you get the message. Nothing is of value, my brothers and sisters, if it's not broken. However costly may be, 58:23 however costly we may, if we give everything also, but if you're not broken, giving up my job on the railways and coming out to serve him was not enough. I had to be broken. 58:40 In many many many many instances through my life and following the Lord and the Lord broke me right now to this very day broken then whatever I give to him is of value and I want to say that that's what we 59:00 are remembering as we break bread together have we allowed the lord to break us and all that he allows into our lives. The trials, the temptations, what happens in the office, what happens at the home with growing children 59:19 and the problems that can come with growing children with a big family and you know we can get so upset. We can think God is punishing us. But no, my child, I want you to yield to me. Allow me to break you. Then what you 59:39 give to me is of value. And that is a picture that what is not broken. Whether it was a Mary was not she was a sinner. She recognized that. But she was not a prostitute. The woman in Luke 7 was a prostitute. 59:58 But she was broken in repentance for her sin and she wanted to give everything. And so she broke that vial of perfume and poured it on his feet. So we must be broken, my brothers and sisters. 1:00:18 Otherwise, it's a meaningless uh whatever we doing now, breaking the bread and passing the cup, it's meaningless. If you're not allowing yourself, I'm not allowing myself to be broken. In many ways, the Lord breaks us. It can 1:00:37 be tragic sometimes. It can be the loss one dearest to us. But it's broken people that God wants to build his church, broken people, broken husband, 1:00:55 a broken wife. Stop blaming each other. You're not going to have each other for long. This is the promise that God gives us when he said, "Let there be light." The same light is shown in your heart and mind. It says in 2 Corinthians 4:3, "If our gospel is veiled, it is 1:02:29 veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the God of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, even unbelieving believers." blinded the minds of the unbelieving, so they might not see the light of the gospel of the 1:02:46 glory of Christ. Read it for yourself. The light of the gospel of the glory of Christ. Has the gospel done that for you and me be shown in your heart and mine? Have I seen the light of the gospel of the 1:03:06 glory of Christ who the image of God that I can know him as my father. And then like Jesus said, if we obey his commandments, he will reveal himself to us. 1:03:22 In John 14, if we obey his commandments, he says the father and him will come and make home with us just like he came to this home and together with the holy spirit. I hope you see it. It blesses my heart. 1:03:41 It's done so much to my life to see the glory of Christ who the image of God. But we do not preach ourselves. When we see the glory of Christ, we stop preaching ourselves. 1:03:59 But Christ Jesus is Lord and ourselves as your bond servants for Jesus' sake. For God who said, here's this word, let it be burned into your spirit, my brothers and sisters, as God has done in mine. God who said light shall shine out 1:04:18 of darkness is the one who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the not the knowledge of God but to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. That's what the light has done. Has God 1:04:39 been able to do that for you? I want to ask you, I want you to ask yourself, has God been able to do that for you with all the problems and trials and difficulties that you have have that you stop complaining, stop blaming, 1:04:57 whether it's your wife, whether it's your husband, whether it's your children, whether it's your boss, but yield and let God's light shine in you. And uh it says there who was shone in our hearts to give the 1:05:16 light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. And here's this word. We have this treasure in earth and vessels just like that that box of spiken that Mary brought and broke it. 1:05:34 And the house was full of the fragrance that came from that perfume. And I want you to see that fragrance Jesus carried. Not just you know to see the picture of it you know his six days earlier 1:05:53 Mary anointed his feet costly perfume and I I like perfume I use it not not to show thing but you know uh you know sometimes some some perfumes can be on 1:06:11 your clothes for days together you know when somebody passes by you get a beautiful smell, a beautiful scent, an exquisite perfume. And what comes to me? It's not the perfume we wear. Does my life 1:06:29 does my life give off that fragrance? And it'll not give off a fragrance. No matter if I use the best perfume, the most costly perfume in the world, it's if I'm broken. If I'm willing to be broken. We have this treasure in earth and vessels so 1:06:48 that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves. And there we have it. We're afflicted in every way but not crushed. Perplexed but not despairing. Persecuted but not forsaken. 1:07:05 Struck down but not destroyed. Why? Because we always carry about in the body the dying of Jesus so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body and we who live are constantly 1:07:23 being delivered over to death for Jesus' sake so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. Death works in us but life in you. That's the life we are called to live. 1:07:41 We who live are constantly, not just, you know, one day, two days, once a month, constantly being delivered over to death for Jesus' sake. And the place where it happens the most is in the home. And the next place is the workspot. And 1:08:00 the next place is in the church. constantly being delivered to death for Jesus' sake so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. And the next place is with our family. The next place is with our 1:08:17 relatives unbelieving or believing. It doesn't stop my brothers and sisters. And Jesus said of this this woman who was Mary, she has done what she could. 1:08:33 She's done what she could. She broke it to her. Nothing was of value. And that's how it must be for us. And that's why he said, "Truly I say to you, wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be 1:08:50 spoken of in memory of her." And that's why the Holy Spirit, I believe, has hid her name there in in Mark 14 and Matthew chapter 26. But I believe it was Mary that we read of in John chapter 12. That is what my understanding I feel that the 1:09:09 the Lord has revealed to me. But he said what wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be spoken of in memory of her. And what happened in that upper room, there was a perfume that not only 1:09:25 came from Jesus is his head was anointed earlier with this very costly perfume. That perfume lingered on and then 2 days before he died, 2 days before the Passover, his feet was anointed with the 1:09:42 same perfume. this very costly perfume. The vial that contained that pound of ointment that Mary used is broken now and poured out on the feet of Jesus. And she wiped his feet with her hair. 1:10:00 And that that is an expression of love, my brothers and sisters. That is an expression the love that Jesus has for you and me. He loves us intensely. I've begun to see that and it has 1:10:17 changed my whole attitude to life. But I've had to go through breakings, severe breakings for that. But it's helped me even though our faith can take a battery helped me to see how much he loves me, how much he wants me 1:10:37 for himself. We I shared in the last meeting we see the picture of the church the bride leaning upon her bridegroom both of them leaning on one one another that's the picture of the church that's 1:10:54 the picture of you and me that we lean on our bridegroom as we love him and he loves us so much and I hope that we that the cross apart from 1:11:14 us being forgiven, apart from Jesus forgiving us our sins, dying for us our sins and shedding his blood, apart of from him taking our place and paying the penalty for our sin. I hope from today, from today you will see 1:11:36 that the cross is an expression of the intense love he has for you and for me. Intense love. God so loved the world. It's not just an an empty abstract. It was at one time. God so loved Put your name there. 1:11:55 He gave his only begotten son and not just to believe in him but to surrender to him. And one last word 2 Corinthians in chapter 2 verse 14. This is my word I turn to I I 1:12:14 am reminded many times a favorite word of mine. I think of uh I I think of uh Vicki when I when I that was what I put on her tombstone and that it says in 2 Corinthians 1:12:34 chapter 2:14 thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ and the actual rendering of that thanks be to God who 1:12:50 triumphs o us over us in Christ. He triumphs over us in Christ. The picture there I understand what I read long ago is this Roman general marching there prisoners through the streets of Rome in chains. 1:13:09 You know they were the victors. And that's the picture that Paul had in his mind when he wrote that through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Thanks be to God who always triumphs over us in Christ through every trial, through 1:13:25 every problem, through every difficulty, you're having it tough in your home, having tough children. God is wanting to triumph over you, my brother, my sister. He wants to triumph over you. Yield. Give up your sword. 1:13:44 Stop fighting. Stop blaming each other. At least from today, decide you're going to do that. Give up your sword. Let him triumph over you. You'll not be sorry. You'll not be the 1:14:03 loser. And it manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of him in every place. The exquisite perfume. And that's what I am reminded of the wife that the Lord gave me for 50 years. An exquisite perfume 1:14:28 that came from her life. He never retaliated, never fought back. I was the one but I had to lay down my arms at one time when God brought me through various circumstances through my children 1:14:47 growing up in the home and blame. You can blame them. They go through different stages. But then God had to break me, break me, break me till I laid down my arms, till I gave up my sword. And I thank God for a wife like that. 1:15:10 I pray your sisters will seek to be one like that, be a fragrance of Christ to God, an exquisite perfume to God. I can rightly say that of her. And I want it to be said of me when 1:15:29 before Jesus comes, if he calls me home. And how does that happen? If I allow him to be broken, uh allow me him to break me. If I allow him to triumph over me in every situation, and it says there, we are a fragrance of Christ to God among 1:15:48 those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. to the one an aroma from death to death to the other an aroma from life to life and who is adequate for these things who is adequate we read that and you say 1:16:06 brother I it's not possible you don't know what kind of wife I have you say brother Yin not possible you don't know the kind of husband I have you don't know what I'm going through you don't know what I'm going through with my children I want to Hey, 1:16:23 we have gone through it and all we can do is yield. Let Jesus triumph over you. Our adequacy comes from God. 2 Corinthians 3:5. Another favorite verse from mine. Our adequacy comes from God who makes us 1:16:42 adequate through the Holy Spirit. makes us adequate as servants of the new covenant, not of the letter, not of the CFC code of conduct, not of CFC culture, makes us adequate by the Holy Spirit. Because further down, we don't have time 1:17:00 to read it. The Holy Spirit we turn, whenever a man turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. He veils towards the glory of Christ and it says the Lord is a spirit. We have no there's no ambiguity there. The Lord is a spirit. And where the spirit of the Lord 1:17:18 is, there's liberty. So whenever we turn to him, the Holy Spirit, the veil is taken away. I see the glory of Jesus. I'm changed. I'm changed. One degree of glory to 1:17:35 another. It goes on day by day as I yield to him. And I'm constantly being delivered over to death. I see that some of you sitting here have heard this but you hear it again and again and this word will stand 1:17:53 when you stand on the day before the judgment seat of Christ. I don't say this to condemn anybody here. There's hope for the last one. But let there be a beginning as we move into another year of anniversary 47 1:18:10 years. And if you've been here for many many years and you have not allowed the the Lord to triumph over you, will you decide? Lord, I give up my sword. I lay down my arms. It's not easy. As a strong man, as an angry man, 1:18:34 there came a time I had to cry out to God. And God heard my prayer. I'm an angry man. I was a domin doineering man. 1:18:49 When the time came, I laid down my arms. I began to yield. I wish I done it earlier, but I thank the Lord that I did it better late than never. So those years of a married life were 1:19:06 blessed. Not just blessed but glorious. And I end with that my brothers and sisters. I've taken time to share that. This is not a message. It's what God has worked in my life. Whenever a man turns to the Lord, not to CFC, not to the 1:19:26 elders, get help. By all means, get help. Perhaps you desperately need help. But then turn to the Lord, the Holy Spirit. He takes the veil away. He reveals to you what I just shared very briefly to you. It shows you the glory 1:19:43 of Christ. Light has shone in your heart. But have you is it the light of the gospel? The glory of Christ you've seen. Oh, it's just message after message. I pray that this breaking of bread will be different. Will be begin a new chapter in your life 1:20:07 as I want it to begin a new chapter in my life as I go on for the days that God keeps me on earth. Shall we bow our heads and pray? There's no condemnation for those who have heard this word. 1:20:26 Like Jesus said to that woman caught in the very act of adultery when he said, "Where are your accusers? Did no one accuse you? No one condemn you?" She said, "No one, Lord. They all walked 1:20:46 out. At least they had the humility to do that." And he said to her, "Neither do I condemn you. There was anyone who could condemn her. It was Jesus. But he said, "Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more." And maybe this is a word for 1:21:04 somebody here. Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more. Lay down your arms, my brother, my sister. Whether it's with your husband, whether 1:21:23 it's with your wife, whether with your children, whatever you're going through, let Jesus triumph over you. Make me a captive, Lord, and I shall be free. 1:21:40 Make me a captive, Lord, and I shall be free. If you can yield to him now and break bread meaningfully 1:21:59 because this is what the breaking of bread is. There'll be a fragrance that will come from your life from today. A fragrance of Christ wherever you go. Like when they left that upper room, there was a physical fragrance there 1:22:15 which was on Jesus. But much much more than that, there'll be a fragrance of the life of Jesus that you have yielded to. Wherever you go, whichever home you visit, whoever you talk, you leave back a fragrance just like an exquisite 1:22:32 perfume. May that be so, my dear brothers and sisters. Father, I pray you would do that in my heart. Continue to do it in my heart and in all of us who have heard your word today in Jesus name. Amen.
