0:07 Let's not just sing ritually even if you know the words. Let's sing to Jesus who's here in our midst. He's the King of kings, [music] the Lord of lords. He deserves all the glory and honor and praise. So, close your eyes if that's what it 0:21 takes. Lift your eyes up and see the Lord Jesus Christ seated on his throne, exalted above all. The angels in heaven praise [music] him. The saints who have gone on before praise him and that's all they're going to do for all eternity. 0:36 That's all we'll do for all eternity. It says they sang a new song which no one knew except those whom the lamb had taught it to. [music] And as you walk closer with Jesus, he'll teach you a new song. He'll teach you, give you a spirit of praise. 0:53 Let there be a [music] spirit of praise in our midst this morning. Dear brother, sister, >> [music] >> child, friend, there's no reason to be downcast. Put your hope in God. He has triumphed. He's overcome. He's on the throne. He's in 1:06 control [music] of everything that you might be going through right now, have ever gone through, or will ever go through [music] cuz he is God. He is fully in control. And he loves you. He really does. He is he he's the definition of love. He 1:22 is love. >> [music] >> So, praise him. Give him glory. Give him the honor. [music] Exalt his Come. Let's lift our voices to >> Come, >> [music] >> people of the risen [singing] king, who delight to bring him praise. 1:42 Come all [singing] and tune your hearts [music] to sing to the morning star of grace. But [singing and music] follow us 2:56 through all our days with the certain hope of [music and singing] peace. Yes, rejoice. Rejoice, rejoice, >> [music] >> let every tongue >> [singing] >> rejoice. One heart, >> [music] >> one voice, >> [singing] 3:15 >> oh church of Christ, [music] rejoice. Young [music] and old [singing] from everywhere, women and men of the faith. Come those [music] with full >> [singing] >> or empty hands 3:34 for the riches of his grace. Over [music and singing] all the world his people sing, so sure we hear [music and singing] them call the truth that Christ from >> [music] >> every age our God [singing] is all. 3:53 >> Yes, rejoice in Him. >> Rejoice, [music] rejoice, [singing] let every tongue rejoice. [singing] One heart, one voice, O church of [music and singing] Christ, rejoice. >> Sing it again, rejoice. 4:12 >> Rejoice, rejoice, [music] let every [singing] tongue rejoice. One heart, one voice, [music and singing] O church of Christ, rejoice. >> [music] 4:36 >> We rejoice in Him because He is God, He [music] is Lord, but He's done He's done marvelous wonders for us. This is the year [music] of jubilee. This is the day of jubilee. Today, if you hear His voice, don't harden your 4:47 heart. Don't harden your heart. He's calling for you. He's calling to set you free from everything of this earth, from love [music] of self, from love of pleasure, from the love of the things that are passing away, to give you a love of the 5:01 things that are eternal. >> [music] >> The things of heaven. Let's proclaim it. >> I was so full, [music] but still so poor, >> [singing] >> still empty as I grasped for more. Then I received the glorious Christ. >> [music and singing] 5:20 >> He's now my portion, grace, and life. >> Oh, proclaim it. >> Christ has proclaimed [music] the jubilee, >> [singing] >> this age of [music] grace for you and me. Return to Him, [singing] be filled [music] and free, here in the 5:39 church, our family. Intending good, [music] but failing [singing] still, I stay pursuing against my will. >> [music] >> But Christ will redeem, enliven [singing] me, >> [music] 5:58 >> replace my bonds with liberty. >> Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord. >> Christ has proclaimed the jubilee, [music and singing] this age of grace for you and me. Return to Him, be [music and singing] filled and free, 6:16 here in the church, our family. >> [music] >> I wandered [singing] far and found no [music] home. If not my feet, my heart did roam. But I have found my family, [music] 6:35 Christ and the church, a place for me. Christ has [music] proclaimed the jubilee, [singing] this age of grace for you and me. Return [music] to Him, be filled and [singing] free, here in the church, our 6:54 family. >> [singing] >> Well, let us proclaim [music] the jubilee, announce good news that captivates [music] free. >> [singing] >> Trumpet salvation to all men, God [music] is our portion, [singing] 7:13 what a gain. [singing and music] Return to him, be filled and free here in the church, our family. [music and singing] 7:49 Return to him, be filled and free here [music] in the church, our family. Here [singing] in the church, our family. >> Isn't it amazing he calls one from a family, two from a city? [music] 8:08 One from a city, two from a family. And many of us [music] who come from different backgrounds, different cultures, different places in the world, he's called into his family. [music] And not just us, people from all over the 8:20 world. He is drawing his people together, a remnant. He said, "I will remove from your midst >> [music] >> midst your proud exalting ones. And I will leave behind a lowly >> [music] >> remnant." Think about that word remnant, those who 8:36 are left behind. If you feel like one who's left behind in life, forgotten often in circumstances, you are the one God is looking for. Not many wise, not many rich, not many capable, but the foolish things of this world. 8:56 The afflicted. If you're going through affliction today, dear friend, [music] God sees you. He's near you because of your affliction. Cuz that affliction he has intended to bring you to a place of need where you realize you can do nothing 9:13 outside of him. Jesus said, "I am the vine, >> [music] >> you are the branches. Apart from me, you can do nothing." Open our eyes, Lord Jesus, to see that, >> [music] >> that we can do nothing. Everything we thought we did without 9:30 you, we're going to see at the end of time was worth zero. It'll all be burned up. Everything that we did in life outside of you will be burned up. Open our eyes to see it, Lord, I pray. So that we'll no longer invest in the 9:43 things that will burn up, but the things that are of you. Thank you. Draw near to us, Lord, as we draw near [music] to you. You said you would. I'm going to spend a few [music] minutes in prayer. Dear friends, brothers, sisters, young 9:59 people, children, God wants to hear you talk to him because he's your father. He didn't want you to just listen to somebody else pray, but he wants you to talk to him. That's what prayer [music] is, is talking to him, your God, the one who created you before 10:15 when you were in your mother's womb, he formed you. And he knew you before you were in your before [music] the foundations of the world, he chose you then in Christ, and made a plan [music] for your life, and that plan is not 10:29 over. Maybe you messed it up. Maybe you've wandered away. Maybe you're defeated. Maybe you're discouraged about something that's not [music] the way you wish it would be. Oh, don't give up hope. This is not the end. There is hope while you're in the land 10:45 of the living. Today is the day of salvation. Reach out to him in faith. >> [music] >> Whatever you're going through, is it a spiritual battle? Is it an emotional battle? A relationship >> [music] >> that's grown cold? A physical trial you're going through? 11:00 Trust him. Before we pray, [music] let's sing this song, Afflicted Saints. Many are the afflictions of the [music] righteous, of the godly, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. The Lord delivers her out of them all. 11:19 >> [music] >> This is our hope, dear brothers, sisters, young people, and children, dear friends. >> Afflicted [music] saints, to [singing] Christ only your savior's grace 11:38 >> [music] >> only here his [music] faithful [singing] word you can believe >> [music and singing] >> that days your strength shall be. [music] 12:01 >> [music] >> So keep your faith >> [singing] [music] >> though fears be strong and if >> [music] >> the conflict >> [singing] >> should be [music] long the Lord will make Yes, he will. The 12:21 tempter >> [music] >> flee >> [singing] >> that as your days your [singing] strength shall be. >> [music] >> So sing with joy afflicted [music and singing] one 12:39 the battle's fierce >> [music] >> but the victory's [singing] won. God [music] shall supply >> [singing] >> all that >> [music] >> you need. Yes, [singing] as your days >> [music] >> your strength 12:59 shall be. >> Before [music] we move on Nope, I didn't mean that. Deuteronomy 33. I want to read this to you. That's where that phrase comes from. Deuteronomy 33 verse 25. If you have a Bible you can look at it with me 13:19 so that you see it in God's word. You know it's not just something a songwriter wrote. It's written over 200 years ago. this this hymn. But the promise is in the last part of verse 25. And according to your days, so will your 13:41 leisurely walk be. Some translations say your strength. Verse 26, "There is none like the God of Jeshurun who rides the heavens to your help and through the skies in his majesty. Oh, look up and see the God. There is no 13:57 God like him." Every other so-called God of this world, the god of money, the god of comfort, the god of pleasure, the god of success, the god of retirement, the god of ease, the god of popularity, all of those are not gods at all. There 14:15 is none like our God. And he is the one who says, "As your days, so shall your strength be." Think about that, dear friends. What are we singing here? What are we What is the Lord promised? If you were to go through a hundred more 14:30 years of the affliction you're going through, he will give you strength to match it. Oh, trust him. We're not looking to get out of a tight spot anymore because he's giving us grace. Oh, he will heal. He will restore. He will take He will bring you 14:44 out of that trial. He will deliver you. But he's going to give you strength in the midst of that trial, dear friend. That's what we're The promise is. If the trial should continue for another day, so will his strength. If the trial 14:57 should continue for another week, so will his strength. If the trial should continue for another month, for another year, for another 10, 20 years, so shall his strength. His strength is enough. His grace is enough. Take courage, friend. Take courage, 15:11 brothers, sisters, children, young people. You have a a life that's You have days ahead of you yet. But don't look at the days ahead. Look at the strength that's ahead. Look at the grace that's [music] ahead. So, >> sing [music] 15:28 with joy, afflicted [singing] one. The battle's [singing] fierce, but the victory's [music] won. God shall supply all that [music and singing] >> will. Hallelujah. >> you need. 15:47 Yes, as [singing] your [music] days, your strength shall be. >> [music] >> Through [music and singing] persecution, rage and flame, >> [singing] >> still [music] trust 16:07 in your Redeemer's name. In >> [singing and music] >> fiery trials, you shall see that as your days, [music and singing] your strength shall be. So, sing 16:27 >> [music] >> with joy, >> [singing] >> afflicted one. The battle's fierce, >> [music] >> but the victory's won. >> [singing] >> God shall supply all [music] that you 16:47 need. Yes, as your [singing and music] days, your strength shall be. When called >> [singing] >> to bear your >> [music] >> weighty cross, or sore affliction, >> [music] 17:07 >> pain, or loss, [singing] or deep distress, or poverty, >> [music] >> On >> [singing] >> earth, still as your days, your [music] strength shall be. So sing. So sing 17:25 [music and singing] with joy, afflicted one. The battle's [music] fierce, [singing] but the victory's won. God shall supply >> [singing] >> all that you >> [music] 17:44 >> need. Yes, as your days, [singing] your strength shall >> Let's [music] lift our hands to him and sing so. >> So sing [singing] with joy, afflicted one. The battle's fierce, [singing] 18:02 but the victory's [music] won. God shall supply all that >> [music and singing] >> you need. Yes, as your [singing] days, your strength shall be. Yes, >> [music] >> as your 18:22 >> [singing] >> days, >> [music] >> your strength shall be. >> [music] >> What more can he say than to you he has said, "You who for refuge to him have fled?" How firm a foundation we have in his 18:41 promises, in his mighty word. Heavenly Father, we commit our lives to you afresh, having sung in faith, having sung with joy in the midst of whatever we might be going through, Lord. We sing with joy. We exalt your name, 18:55 and I know that brings you great delight to see your children trusting you even in the midst of trial, trusting you in the midst of the darkness, dark trusting you in the midst of not knowing what's ahead, trusting you in the midst of 19:09 pain, physical pain, emotional pain, suffering loss and disappointment. Thank 19:48 you, Lord, that you defeated Satan all those years ago on the cross permanently. And we walk in that victory even today. He has no power over us. And you're a sympathizing high 20:27 priest like nobody else could ever be. So, Lord, I pray come near to those who need that that nearness from you. And touch them, Lord, if it is your will you will you touch their bodies even right now and bring healing in the name of 20:40 Jesus. There is power in the name of Jesus. At the name of Jesus every demon flees. At the name of Jesus sickness departs. And we trust you, Lord. We yield and we lean we accept your will whatever that might look like, but we 20:51 know we can ask for our needs. So we ask that you will heal those that need healing. Thank you. Thank you, Lord, that we can commit our earthly needs to you. All You own the cattle on a thousand hills. So it's no problem for 21:03 us for you to supply everything that we need here on this earth. You've allowed us to live here on this earth for a little while here only that we might trust you, not lean on riches, not lean on our accomplishments, not lean on our 21:15 intellect, but to lean on you, to acknowledge you in all our ways, knowing that you will direct our paths. So, we humble ourselves. We trust in you with all of our all of us, Lord. And we don't lean on our own understanding. We don't We don't walk by 21:30 sight, but we walk by faith. In the midst of that dark tunnel, in the midst of the fog, you we know we have your hand. That is our faith, Lord, that you will never leave us or forsake us. Thank you for the hope. We look up and see 21:43 Jesus Christ seated there at the right hand of the Father, interceding for us constantly. While we're asleep, while while we were asleep last night, you were up all night interceding for us for the day that was coming, and for the 21:56 week that's coming, and for the month ahead, and for the years ahead. Thank you, Lord. You've never left us. Even though you went back up to heaven, you didn't leave us at all. You've never left us. You've carried us through. You 22:06 brought us this far, and you didn't bring us this far to leave us here halfway. You're going to take us home. We thank you, Lord. You're going to take us home.
