Zac Poonen - Preparation for the Lord’s Table
Speaker: Zac Poonen Title: Preparation for the Lord’s Table Date: 10/04/2026 Our Goal as Christians is this: To be an exact reflection of Jesus, the Son of God (Romans 8:29) We do this individually by growing in purity in our personal lives (1 John 3:2-3) We do this corporately by becoming fully functioning members of a local Church (Ephesians 4:11-16)
Summary
Preparation for partaking in the Lord's Table requires both personal purity and corporate functioning as members of the local church. Christians are called to grow in holiness and become exact reflections of Jesus individually, while simultaneously maturing as fully functioning members of the body of Christ in their local assembly.
