And it's a reminder to abide in him, knowing that if we don't abide in him, there's [music] no way we can bear fruit. There's no way we can figure out a way to make the [music] Christian life work 6:16 if we don't abide in him. And just this past week, [music] I was uh I was worrying about something two years from now. What would happen then? And the Lord had [music] to rebuke me and say, "Don't worry about 2 years from now. 6:29 Abide in me now." In 1 John 3:5 3:6, it says, "No one who abides in him [music] goes on sinning." So if there's something that's it's bothering you, that's been pulling you down, [music] it's been weighing on you, fear, 6:46 anxiety, depression, you can abide in him this morning. No one who abides in him goes on sinning. It's a call Jesus invited us. Abide in me. I am the vine and you are the branches. May that verse be a reminder to us every 7:03 day. Even though we don't see this world, but the Lord may the Holy Spirit remind us that [music] without him we are nothing, but in him we can bear much fruit. Let's sing. I 13:16 just wanted to read the words again so that it's not just a good tune and a melody. We sang quickly. For my words I take his wisdom and for my works his spirit's power. For my ways his seizeless presence guards and guides 13:33 me every hour. Of my heart he is the portion of my joy. The boundless spring. Savior, sanctifier, healer, glorious Lord and coming king. I was thinking of that quote that I think it was a Charles Spurgeon [music] quote. He said, "The written word is meant to lead you to the living word to Jesus." 16:55 Those words [music] that we just sang that soul though all hell should endeavor to shake this morning. Even if all the host of hell have surrounded us, every enemy that we can fathom and there's voices of accusation and 17:12 [music] condemnation and fear all around us. There's a table [music] that Jesus has prepared right in the middle. And we are welcome. We are seated at that table with Jesus, the living word. And we can feast in the middle, in the 17:30 midst of our enemies. May that be so. [music] Father, I pray that every brother, sister, and child here, Lord, is listening. We'll be seated at that table. Not just here on Sunday morning, Lord, but through the week, though all hell should 17:47 ever should should endeavor to shake us, Lord, that we'll be seated at that table, feasting, resting need thy sheltering room. Open our eyes, Lord. May that be reality. May abiding in you be a reality, Lord, this coming week and 18:03 confiding in your word. Strengthen us, Lord. Lift our [music] eyes to heaven, Lord. Fill us with your spirit. I pray, Lord. We can't do this on our own. We haven't figured [music] out the formula, Lord. We look to you. Our eyes are on you, Lord. Naked, we 18:17 come to thee for dress. And helpless, we look to thee for grace. Even when we triumph, Lord, it's not us, but it's your grace. It's not us, Lord, but Christ in us. That's the hope of glory. And we look to you this morning, Lord. Jesus name. 18:38 [music] >> What gift [singing] of grace is Jesus my redeemer? And by [music and singing] his power, I have all I need to live. He [music and singing] is my joy, my 18:55 righteousness and freom. For by my [music and singing] side the 19:46 Savior he will stand. [music] I labor [singing] on in weakness and rejoiceing. [music and singing] For in my need his [music and singing] power is displayed. 20:04 To this I hold. My shepherd [music and singing] will defend me through the deepest valley. [music] Oh, the [singing] night has been and I shall [music] 20:24 [singing] overcome yet not but through [music] Christ in me. [music] Oh fate I [singing] dread. I [music] know I am forgi. 20:42 The future [music and singing] sure the price it has been paid. [music] For Jesus [singing] and suffer for my heart. [music] With every breath I long to follow 21:38 [music and singing] Jesus, for he has said that he [singing] will bring me home. And day by [singing and music] day I know he will renew [singing] me [music] 21:55 until I stand with joy [singing] before the throne. [music] To this I hope my [singing] hope is only Jesus. All the [singing] glory [music] ever. 22:15 When the race is complete, [singing and music] still my lips shall repeat yet my [music] heart. But through Christ in me. To [singing] this I hold. [music] My 22:32 hope is only Jesus.
