0:07 I will sing praises [singing] to [music] thee, O Lord, among the people. >> [music] >> I will sing praises [singing] to thee among >> [music] 0:24 >> the nations. For thy steadfast love is great. It is great [music and singing] to the heavens, and thy faithfulness, [music] 0:44 >> [singing] >> thy faithfulness, to all the clouds. >> [singing] [music] >> Be exalted, O God, >> [singing and music] >> above the heavens. Let thy glory 1:07 >> [music] >> be over >> [singing] >> all the earth. >> [music] >> Be exalted, >> [music and singing] >> O God, above the heavens. >> [music] >> Let thy glory 1:29 be >> [singing and music] >> over all the earth. >> [music] >> Be exalted. Be exalted, [singing] >> [music] >> O God, above the heavens. >> [music] >> Let thy [singing] glory 1:51 be over >> [singing] >> all the earth. Be exalted, Thou exalted, [music and singing] O God, above [singing] the heavens. >> [music] 2:10 >> Let Thy glory be >> [music and singing] >> over all the earth. >> [music] >> I [singing] exalt Thee. >> [music] >> I exalt Thee. Thou art exalted [singing and music] 3:16 far above all gods. For Thou, O >> [music and singing] >> Lord, art high above all the earth. >> [music] 3:34 >> Thou art exalted far above all gods. >> [singing and music] >> Sing to Him. We exalt Thee. We exalt Thee. We exalt [music] 3:52 thee. We exalt [singing] >> [music] >> thee, oh >> [singing] [music] >> Lord. We exalt >> [music] >> thee. We exalt 4:12 >> [singing] [music] >> thee. We exalt >> [singing] >> thee. >> [singing] [music] >> Yeah, this is a another wonderful old 4:51 hymn. Imagine what the author was thinking [music] when he said, "Oh, I wish I had a thousand tongues. I've only have one tongue and I can only use that [music] to sing sing your praise, but Lord, if I if I had a thousand tongues, 5:05 I would be able to I would use every one of those to sing my great Redeemer's praise and the glories of my God and king, the triumphs of his grace." Let's [music] sing this together. O for a thousand [singing and music] 5:22 tongues to sing my great Redeemer's >> [music] >> praise, the glories of >> [singing and music] >> my God and king, the triumphs of his grace. My gracious [music and singing] Master 5:43 and my God, assist me proclaim [music] to spread through all [music] the earth abroad [singing] the honors of >> [music] >> thy name. Jesus, the name that [singing] charms 6:04 our fears, that bids our sorrows [music] cease. 'Tis music [music] in the >> [singing] >> sinner's ears. 'Tis life and health [music] and peace. Before we move on, what if we just think about what we just sang? Jesus, [music] 6:22 the name that charms our fears. See, Jesus is the only one who is so perfect even though he is completely perfect and sinless that even to a sinner, it's music. His name is music. There is something in the name of Jesus. Even though Jesus is holy 6:41 and pure, there is no sin in him. There's no sin in God. He cannot sin. And there is no sin in his presence. And yet sinners who come to him, when they hear the name of Jesus, it's music. And if you feel like a sinner, if there is 6:54 sin that's unconfessed, I invite you, dear brother, sister, child, to set it right today. Clear your conscience before the Lord Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus Christ can cleanse you from all unrighteousness. It's only the name of 7:07 Jesus that is pure and holy and yet music to the sinner's ears. Life and health and peace. Let's sing that again. Lord Jesus, we exalt your name. Jesus, [music and singing] the name that charms our fears, that bids our [music and singing] sorrows 7:26 cease. 'Tis music in the [singing] sinner's ears. >> [music] >> 'Tis life and health and peace. >> [music] >> He breaks the power >> [singing] >> of canceled sin. >> [music] >> He sets the prisoner >> [singing] 7:44 >> free. His blood can make the [music] foulest clean. His blood [singing] availed for me. >> [music] >> Hear >> [singing] >> him, ye deaf, his praises done. Ye loosened [singing] tongues, 8:04 employ. >> [music] >> Ye blind, [singing] behold your Savior come, and leap, ye [music] lame, >> [singing] >> for joy. Before we go into time of prayer, 8:29 what you do is meditate on this this song we're going to sing. >> [music] >> Lord Jesus, I pray to you. Help me to abide in your peace. Above all the other requests you have, maybe it's a spiritual request. Lord, I want to be 8:46 a an overcomer. I don't want to be beset by sin, by bad moods, [music] by lust, by anger, by lack of control over my tongue. I don't want to be one that's impatient. But more than anything else, Lord, I pray I want to abide in your peace, that 9:02 in no matter what situation I face, there's peace in my heart. He He is He He himself is our peace, we're told. So, I pray dear your church family that today our prayer will change perhaps a little bit to say, "Lord, I'm asking you 9:21 just [music] keep me in your peace." Rest in every circumstance. And in order to do that, as we will sing in this chorus, you'll need to bend me. Break me, mold me. Help me [music] to obey your word. 9:39 And mold me into your image, I pray. Sing this prayer from your heart, [music] dear family. If you really want the peace of Christ that surpasses [music] understanding, a peace that's unshakeable, no matter what surprise comes your way when you wake up 9:53 one morning and you get the worst news possible. If you want a peace that's [music] unshakeable, that passes understanding. Allow him to break you. These circumstances, [music] frustrating, difficult circumstances he's taking you through are breaking 10:07 you. Molding you into his image. Jesus, [music] my savior, [singing] I pray. Help [music] me [singing] abide in thy peace. All [singing] that brings rest [music] 10:27 and assurance. Jesus within [music and singing] me breathe. Bend [music] me, >> [singing] >> mold me, 10:45 help me [singing] thy word to obey. Pray from your heart, he will do it. >> [music] >> Bend me, mold >> [singing] >> me >> [music] >> into thine image, I pray. Though in my flesh [music] 11:08 [singing] there's resistance, yet I delight in [singing] thy will. [music] And in thy [singing] grace thou dost [music] draw me, 11:26 savior, to follow [singing] thee [music] still. Bend [music] me, mold me, help [singing] me thy word [music] to obey. Bend me, 11:48 >> [music] >> mold >> [singing] [music] >> me into thy image, I pray. [singing] Laws [music] of thy body [singing] I cherish, from sin [singing] and death they set 12:09 [music] free. Thy precious love melts my [singing and music] hardness, sweet [singing] then is suffering [music] to me. Bend me, >> [singing and music] 12:28 >> mold me, help me thy [singing] word to obey. >> [music] >> Bend me, >> [singing] >> mold >> [music] >> me into [singing] thy 12:47 image, I pray. >> [music] >> Thou art my head and my leader, sweet [singing and music] is my rest, Lord, in thee. >> [music] >> All that would burden [singing] 13:06 and hinder, thou dost remove far from me. >> [music] >> Bend me, >> [music] >> mold >> [singing] >> me, help me thy word [music] 13:25 to obey. Bend me, mold >> [singing] [music] >> me, into thine image, I pray. >> [music] >> Walking [singing] in light, sin 13:44 resisting, >> [music] >> this is my covenant [singing] with Thee. >> [music] >> Thou didst by this [singing] give thy promise that I shall Yes, [music] I shall overcome. and shall be >> [singing] 14:03 >> Thank you, Lord. Thank you for your promise. Bend >> [music] >> me, mold me, help [singing] me thy [music] word to obey. Bend >> [singing and music] >> me, mold 14:25 me, >> [singing and music] >> into thine image, I pray. >> [music] >> Yes, heavenly Father, we give our lives to you as a living sacrifice. We lay it on the altar as truly and as really as in the Old Testament, they offered those 14:44 sacrifices, Lord. And as we lay our lives, we really say you can burn it all up, Lord. We mean that. That's what it means to offer it to you as a living sacrifice. That every day we offer it to you that it might be lived for you, that our 14:57 candle might be burned out for thee. Lord Jesus, thank you that you showed us the perfect way of living a life that's truly joyful, a life that's always overcoming, a life that's pleasing, and a life that is worthwhile from eternity's perspective. 15:12 Thank you for the example you've shown us where you offered yourself up unto death, even death on a cross, Lord. And that's the way you've called us to follow you. You said, "If anyone wants to be my disciple, he must deny himself, 15:25 say no to what he wants to do, what she wants to do, take up his cross, die daily, and follow me. Lord Jesus, we want to follow you that way. That's the only way to life that's full of peace and joy and love. And so Lord, whatever is suffering 15:40 that you might allow us to go through, whatever trial, whatever difficulty that might be in our way, Lord Jesus, our prayer first of all is we want to be a want to be abiding in your peace. So break us, bend us, Lord, mold us into 15:53 your image. We believe that all the things that you're taking us through here on this earth, painful as they might feel to our flesh and to our soul, you're using it to bend us and mold us into your image. Lord, I pray that you will finish that 16:05 work. I pray that none of us will fall short, will shrink back, or give up when that during that time of breaking and bending and molding. Thank you, Lord. We believe you'll do that. Pour out your spirit upon us, we pray, 16:16 Father. Only your Holy Spirit can accomplish in us what you want to do. So we invite you. We remove all the blockages. If there's any unconfessed sin, we set it aside. We repent of it, confess it, turn to you, Lord, that in 16:28 this cleaned and cleansed vessel, you might pour out your precious Holy Spirit. We long for it, Lord. We want long for a deeper filling of your spirit than we've experienced yet. There's nothing from your side that hinders you 16:39 from pouring it out into our hearts. We humble ourselves. We come to you in true faith because we're thirsty, Lord. We can't feed ourselves. We can't We've tried the things of this earth. They never satisfy. Only you can. So Lord, 16:52 pray that you will pour out that Holy Spirit who alone can satisfy, the spirit of Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Reign in our midst. May you be truly the captain of our salvation, the head of this church. Take control of your church, Lord, and 17:03 lead us into everything that you want us to experience here today, this week, in the weeks to come, the months to come, in the short time that's left before your return. Pray for our children especially, Lord, that in the life 17:15 that's ahead of them, many of them are facing new changes, transitions that are coming up the Lord the next few months and years. Preserve them, Lord, I pray in the spirit of purity. Preserve them, Lord, in the spirit of devotion to you. 17:27 No matter what the world throws at them, no matter how alone they might seem in standing for you, Lord, I pray that you'll put a wall of fire around them and keep them holy. Preserve them, Lord, in the in the your truth. Preserve them 17:38 in you, Lord Jesus. We We We believe that you That's your desire even more than it is ours. It is not your will that even one of the least of these should perish. Lord, so I pray that they will all grow up to love you and 17:50 continue on, Lord, into your path for their lives. So, fill them, too, with your spirit. This promise is for our children, as well. So, we claim it for them, Lord, even our little ones that they will come to know you. That in them 18:01 will be birthed a thirst to be filled with your Holy Spirit, to know you, Lord Jesus, to walk with you, and to experience the joy of pleasing you. A joy of living a victorious life. I pray for any teenagers who are going through 18:13 difficult times, Lord. Uh battling rebellion in their hearts or fighting the temptations against lust or the fashions of this world or whatever it might be, Lord, I pray that you will keep them keep them in your will keep 18:26 them in your love. I pray and preserve them, Lord, so that the what they've learned here, the seeds that have been planted in their hearts will bear good fruit in their lives. So, break them and bend them and mold them, also, Lord, we 18:37 pray. Pray you'll preserve our marriages in deeper unity. Every husband and wife here, Lord, that's represented here, I pray that you'll restore restore our our our our love, Lord, and draw us into a deeper unity like you and the Father 18:51 have. You claimed it for us, Lord, when you prayed here on this earth. And so, we pray in accordance with your prayer and your will. We know that's what you're praying for for us even now. Knit our hearts together, Lord, in 19:03 deeper unity. Thank you, Lord. You said you would restore the hearts of the fathers to the hearts of the children and the hearts of the children to their fathers. You promised it, Lord, before your coming. And so, Lord we know your 19:13 coming is soon and we ask that you'll do that. You'll bring a stronger relationship between us parents and our children that they that we will have their hearts Lord that we will be able to care for them the way you care for 19:24 them and that they will be responsive and obedient and submissive Lord in obeying us and following our the ways the things we teach them and above all that they will follow you. So Lord bring deeper unity in our homes we 19:36 pray and in this church knit our hearts as families brothers and sisters together in love. Lord we don't want to club relationship. We don't want just a liking each other. I pray Lord you remove the the any walls that remain 19:47 Lord and bring deeper unity in this church Lord so that the devil can cannot get in in any way because he's he's fighting against a united church that's united by your love and by your presence in our midst. Thank you what you've done 20:01 Lord already and what you're going to do even more in the years to come. Thank you. Thank you Lord you've heard our prayer. Pray for our material needs as well our earthly needs. You care for them Lord you've placed us on this 20:10 earth. You've given us bodies. We pray for healing for those who need healing. Many who are sick and going through a sickness or illness at this time. Pray you'll touch their bodies and heal them. You are able to heal we know that Lord 20:22 and so we ask if it is your will that you'll let that healing power flow through them even right now. They don't even have to be here Lord because it's not our hands it's not our words. It's your touch and you through your Holy 20:33 Spirit will send that healing power into their bodies even right now. Others who deal with constant chronic pain or other forms of illness Lord will you heal them if it is your will only that we can be useful to you on this earth Lord. So 20:46 give us healthy bodies for that purpose and may we only ever use our bodies for your glory and never for ourselves never to pursue our own ambition and to seek our own on this earth Lord because everything on this earth is passing 20:58 away. It's just a matter of time before it's going to be burned up and that time is soon. So Lord I pray none of us will be vested into this earth in any way Lord that hinders our fruitfulness for your kingdom. Thank you. Thank you, 21:09 Lord. And thank you for our jobs that you provide, Lord, in the in a world of uncertainty where job pressures are increasing day by day. I pray that we as Christians will prove to the world that we have a father in heaven. That's what 21:21 it means to be a Christian. We have a father in heaven who loves us, who cares for us, and we can never be drawn into even a moment of anxiety or fear because our father cares for us. That we obey your command to never be anxious and 21:33 never be worried, Lord, I pray. Free us from the love of money. Let our character be always free from the love of money, I pray, Lord. We know it's deeper than we think. So, Lord, show it to us if it's there. That's the root of 21:44 all anxiety, so I pray you'll remove it, Lord. Thank you. Thank you, Lord. You've heard this prayer. Your presence is in our midst, and you will lead us into more fruitfulness, more a deeper walk with you in this week ahead than we've even experienced yet. 21:59 Thank you. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Thank you above all for the sacrifice you prayed for us. May we never forget Gethsemane. May we never forget Calvary. May we never forget what you went through, what you suffered, so that we 22:15 might be brought into fellowship with you. We praise you and exalt you. Forever you will be the Lamb upon the throne. We exalt [music] you and praise you. Thank you, Father. In Jesus' name, amen. Stricken, smitten, >> [singing] 22:34 >> and afflicted, [music] see him dying on the tree.
