Yeah, and we'll sing our next song which says uh Before the winds that blow to cease, 5:02 Lord, teach me to dwell within thy calm. Brothers and sisters at the back. So, we just sang the words of the psalmist. I want you more than gold or silver. Only you can satisfy. 12:55 Jesus alone is the answer to all our hearts' questions. Let's uh come at this time. It's a question and answer time. Let's commit it into the Lord's hands. Let's pray. Loving Father, Lord, we thank you for this time. We thank you 13:09 for all all the good things, Lord, you've given us. And uh we want to tune our hearts to listen to you. We want to seek you. And your word says that those who seek will find. And those who ask, Lord, will receive. And the The will be opened for those who 13:26 knock. Help us, Lord, to have listening ears. We come at this time. We pray for the these precious brothers, Lord. We pray that you'll anoint them and give them your wisdom, Lord. We pray in your mighty name, Jesus. Yeah, we want to invite Brother Victor, 13:41 Brother Parisutham, Brother Vincent to come and answer the questions. And these are questions that have been collected from from the church family. Brothers, please. Yeah, so 14:04 Brother Vincent will translate along with answering questions. >> [clears throat] 14:56 [clears throat] >> May the Lord's name be glorified. Um We have received 30 questions. Um Could it be almost 30 questions? 15:14 Uh life-related questions, not intellectual or questions based on intellect, but all are >> [clears throat] >> questions based on intellectual mind, but all are related to life. mind, but all are related to life. We thank God for that. 15:38 >> [clears throat] >> Those who have asked these questions, they would have asked from a particular viewpoint. Yeah, question may look general. We don't know in what context they have asked the question in the background. 16:03 So, we may not be able to expect a perfect answer to each question. But God is sufficient for everything. elders Yeah. 16:29 The local elders, they know your situation better. Suppose through our answers you are not able to get a perfect answer, it is better that you contact them. Do I need to listen to my youth 16:48 coordinator in everything? >> [clears throat] [laughter] >> Okay, another But it's a good question. There's no need to obey in every matter 17:10 to the youth coordinator. church related youth coordinators are only for the church related things. your personal record Yeah, we need to separate the church matters and personal matters. Even for your personal matters, you can 17:33 seek the counsel of the youth coordinators. deputed authorities Yeah, they're also appointed by the local elders. church related matters based on the word 17:54 of When we talk about the church related matters, Yeah, you have to listen to them. For example, Sometimes they may insist some 18:11 disciplines. If they ask you to come for the meetings, you come. When they say, "Okay, you can go." you go. And when they ask you to do something, you do it. a good statement Jesus Matthew chapter 8 verse 5 to 10 18:29 I'm a man under the authority. We read like that in Matthew chapter 8. If I say somebody come, he comes. When I say go, he goes. When I say do, he does. Because there are many youth here, 18:55 the youth coordinators may bring out practical things. So, when they say those things, we have to listen to them. If you say [clears throat] that I will not listen to them. >> Open another authority guardian and learn a little. 19:14 >> That means I have not come under their authority. >> Ephesians 2 little and I will ask you to come. >> Read in Ephesians chapter 2. >> If you put the order that you do. I have to take a degree program I hear this house and I don't care if you say 19:25 one. >> The prince of the media will work in such people. >> I will be able to use the spirit of the Bible. >> Because that there's a possibility that it will go into a kind of rebellious spirit. >> So in the water you know what I wait to 19:36 go home. >> So we can keep these words in our heart. >> Okay, you don't know the candy. >> Led by the spirit. Kindly share how I can experience this in my life according to Romans 8:14. >> John 1:12 in the solar system in the 19:53 born of the spirit of God in the water system. >> John 1:12 says >> I will not put it in the credit card to buy we read. You shouldn't have to tell me this one way to take a little bit of her and I ate the condo burger. I will be able to do 20:06 the people like children of God and I will ask you to come. >> Those who receive Jesus Christ into the hearts and those are faith they become the children of God. >> I don't know Romans 8:14. >> What Romans 8:14 says? >> I will not let that put it in the world 20:20 game. >> It's a life where you are led by the spirit. >> I will be able to do the Kumar and I will send some garden water system. >> Yeah, they are the sons of God higher level. >> One of the children of God in one of the 20:29 sons of God. >> John 1:12 is children of God and Romans 8:14 is sons of God. >> What do you want to do with the people in the garden water system and I will not put it in the world game. >> Yeah, one group of people who are born 20:39 of the spirit and then they come to the latest stage where they are led by the spirit of God. >> Yes, Chris to Morocco Morocco I will not let that put it in the world. >> Jesus Christ was full and full was led by the spirit of God. 20:49 >> I would like to walk in the world with me but it's the only way to put the water in the garden. >> His life is full of one which was led by the Holy Spirit. >> I don't know that you could put the water in the garden and I will not put 20:57 it. >> He was led by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness. >> You don't know the system and I will not put the water in the garden and I will not put it in the world game and I will not put it in the world game and I will not put it in the world game. 21:09 I don't know that you could put the water. >> After his 30 years of life in Nazareth, when he took baptism, the spirit of God came upon him and he was given a certificate. He was a beloved son. The whole of the spirit of the Lord led 21:53 him. He led him into a place where wild beasts are there. See the ways of God. Uh trials, hardships All difficulties Another Yeah, 40 days he controlled his body. 22:20 Another spirit Yeah, one aspect of being led by the spirit of God is that we will destroy the works of the flesh. Our sleeping habit will be under our control. Food habits Your food habits will be under our control. We will not see all that this eye 22:43 desires. We will not speak all that we think. Yeah, those who are led by the spirit of God will control their body and they would have destroyed the deeds of the flesh. The deeds of their body. 23:02 Like this, there are things. I'm Jesus in Yeah, we can see the life of Jesus like that. >> The Bible says that all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. However, in my life I find that I have an easy life at work, at 23:18 home, and with friends, even though I make it clear that I am a Christian. I wonder whether I am not wholehearted enough. >> So, your life is not over. There are many things to come. The devil also is preparing many things 23:31 through present government and all. So, don't come to a conclusion. As Christians, God is not expecting us to look for persecution. We look for God. We look for the coming of the Lord. And our aim is not to look for persecution. No no need to search 23:45 for it and go. So, you can be led by what God how God leads you. Yeah. So, let it not happen according to your faith. >> [laughter] >> Yeah. How can I be compassionate like Jesus or 24:07 like Paul? >> [clears throat] >> We have to study the life of Jesus. I'll just give an example. Three and a half years Peter was with Jesus. He denied Christ and he went to the 24:30 extent of cursing Jesus Christ. Peter is looking at the path of Golgotha. Jesus, when he saw Peter, his eyes were 24:50 filled with compassion. Judas has betrayed me. Even you are trying to do like that? What's the difference between Judas and 25:08 Peter? Did he see like that? That look, that compassionate look lay Peter would have went and ruined it there. With that one look of compassion, Peter broke down. No words. Even at that look, all his sins were 25:33 forgiven. How much salvation has to come in our looks? And the compassionate look. >> [clears throat] >> We have to start with our wife, our 25:57 children, and then next round of people in the church, and to the outside world, we need to have compassion like this. It's an example of the life of Jesus. Okay. Next question. It is my understanding that the wives of some elders, 26:15 facilitators, and coordinators are not as spiritually mature or wise as their husbands in guiding sisters. What do you think? We are also thinking like that. Okay, that's the answer. That's the answer. Next question. Sometimes 26:35 disagreements and mis- misunderstandings between us bring dishonor to the Lord. Hello. I know the disagreements I know the the 26:59 >> It is uh We can't avoid disagreements between either husband and wife or among elders or brothers. When Jesus was in this earth in his 27:16 bodily form, he had a will and father had a will. When we come to a situation where we have to take a decision, not my will or your will, let it be God's will. So, it is good to take a decision where 27:35 neither my will nor your will, but let God's will be done. It is good to take a decision based on that. The decision [clears throat] to be taken is very important, very vital. It is possible that you can postpone it 27:56 until both of you agree in that matter. If it is a matter where the decision has to be taken immediately, the matured brothers You can consult your well-wishers or mature brothers or elders. We read in 1 Corinthians chapter 28:18 10:31. Whether then you eat or drink, whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. So, up here there If disunity comes or arguments comes 28:48 which brings dishonor to to the Lord. It is not good. >> [clears throat] >> Still misunderstanding exists means you 29:14 express your opinion and leave it at like that. The person who is responsible to take a decision, if it is a family, the husband or the father or if it is the church, the senior elder. You leave the decision making to them, but you 29:26 express your opinion and then keep quiet. It is not good to take the matter to the extent where the Lord's name is dishonored or that comes disunity among 29:44 us. This is my humble opinion. I pray every day, I read the Bible and attend church on Sundays, but I feel that God does not answer me. I do not see any signs of him speaking to me and everything feels like routine or a club. 30:01 I have opened myself to God, but I feel he has not revealed himself to me. This makes me question why he does not respond or even whether God exists. Yeah. See, this question many places it comes. I feel that I feel like 30:20 I feel I feel. Christian life should not be based on our feelings. Fact first, faith next, feelings last. So, if you allow the feelings to run your our lives, there will be mess. So, what is a fact? You are a child of God. 30:36 What's a fact? Fact is truth. When you pray, God listens to your prayers, but make sure that you don't have any bitterness in your heart. All your sins are forgiven. And communication is on. You pray to God. He listens. 30:48 And he answers. Sometimes yes, sometimes wait, sometimes no. So, definitely God answers. So, we St. Thomas, when Jesus rose again, he did not believe. He said, "Unless I see the wounds, I will not believe." But 31:06 what did Jesus say? "Blessed are those who have faith without seeing me." So, we want to be on the blessed side. So, that's our faith. So, let facts and then faith. And feelings you don't give importance. Sometimes you feel that you 31:22 are very high, very good. Feelings can deceive us. So, feelings We need not completely ignore the feelings, but you should not give first preference to the feelings. Preference is fact. Lord, you are on the throne. Whether I feel it or not, you 31:36 are on the throne. So, that's a Christian life is a life of faith. And you read the word of God, and that will speak to you. No need to wait till you hear some audible voice. God doesn't speak like that. He puts his thoughts in your 31:48 heart, impressions in your heart. That's a way we need to live in our Christian life. Next question. My parents are nominal Christians. How can I tell them the truth even if they do not receive it? Every time I try to share, it turns into an argument. 32:07 >> [clears throat] >> My parents are nominal Christians. Maybe unbelievers. Are nominal Christians. I would like to read 1 Peter chapter 3 32:28 and verse 1. In the same way, you wives be submissive to your own husband so that even if any of them are disobedient to the word, they may be won without a word by the behavior of their wives, as they observe 32:45 your chaste and respectful behavior. So, We should not think that through our 33:04 teaching, our instructions, we can lead them our parents to Christ. We cannot build the kingdom of God through arguments. When we enter into argument, it may end 33:23 in a bitter experience. So, next time when such topics are opened, problems start. >> [clears throat] >> I will share my experience. I will keep on praying. I will speak only when I get an 33:52 inspiration from God, and also uh what verse I should share with them, I will try to find out. I would like to know the such a good We have to be a good witness to them 34:10 through our behavior, through our life at home. And we also we have to wait for the time of God. The parents should observe the change in your life, in your attitude, and there 34:29 should be a question in their mind. Why what's the reason for the change in my children's life? And when God hears your prayers and God says to you, "Speak to them." Then you can see the results. Whether there is time or no time, you 34:56 preach the gospel. We should not take that verse literally and always sharing God's word When we do like that, there will be confusion. Yeah, when we wait for the right opportunity and speak to them, then we 35:15 will get the fruit. Whether you would save your wife or not, how do you know? Save your husband or not, how do you know? It's written like that in Corinthians. Salvation belongs to the Lord. So, we 35:38 cannot by some means, compulsion or some other means, we cannot save them. This is my answer. How should married children honor an aging parent who is rigid and resistant to change when accommodating them creates real 35:55 hardship for their own family? >> [clears throat] >> I'll read once again. How should married children honor an aging parent who is rigid and resistant to change when accommodating them creates real hardship for their own own family? 36:12 Aged aged aged parents. Aged parents or aging parents. >> [clears throat] >> It is not obvious whether you are accommodating them on a temporary whether you are accommodating them on a 36:31 temporary basis or on a permanent basis. So, anyhow, We should take care of care of them. We should take responsibility. We should take care of them. We should honor them, our parents, when they become aged. We should not deny that. 36:53 >> [clears throat] >> If we do so, then we are worse than unbelievers. Let them be unbelievers or let them be rigid or let them not desire any change. Or sometimes they may be believers, but 37:13 they are very rigid. There should not be any decrease in honoring them or respecting them, any shortage. But when they are with us for some time, They should not hijack our family. 37:36 We should never give room for that. Whatever instructions or opinions they share with us, if it is good for our family, we are going to accept. If it is going to create a confusion in the family, there is a son's family, the son has to 38:02 express to his parents in with a meek and quiet spirit that we will not do that. [clears throat] That's discipleship. Yeah, Daddy, please do not create a problem in our family. 38:21 You please tell Mommy. >> Yeah, we have to talk to dad, ask him to tell to mom or directly tell to mom. They should listen to that. If they do not listen to that, next step we have to take a decision. The same way we should not measure the 38:46 minor We should not measure the minor issues. We also should learn how to bear with them. Small small difficulties We should know how to bear with their We should know how to bear with their weaknesses. 39:05 So the husband has to take a correct leadership in this area. maturity or animal in love in that please local only godly elders to you know please go and share with them. If you don't have wisdom, kindly share it with the local 39:24 elders and seek for counsel. And the counsel working in here. And receive that counsel. And through that you'll be delivered. Okay. How should I deal with expectations from relatives? This expectations from relatives are 39:58 they asking some physical help or it is financial help. It is not very obvious. Very close blood relatives parents are coming and number of your own brother sisters are coming. Relatives means whether they are parents or our 40:17 own siblings, brothers and sisters. And my case So, our decision should be based on the what close how close the relationship is. First Timothy chapter 5. Eighth verse, shall we read? But if 40:38 anyone does not provide for his own and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. I remember another verse number 40:56 3 and 4. Honor widows who are widows indeed, but if any widow has children or grandchildren, they must first learn to practice pity in regard to their own family and to make some return to their parents, for this is acceptable in the 41:10 sight of God. 1 Timothy 5. >> chapter >> Yeah. Fourth verse. Sometimes our relatives may be widows. 41:40 Sometimes they may be disabled people or physically challenged. Sometimes helpless aged people. Sometimes it may be our own parents or those who are born along with us, our 42:00 siblings. They may be in need of such help. If they are in need of financial help, according to our ability, we can help them. The awesome It is our duty to help them to meet 42:20 their essential needs. Some people without wisdom, because they are getting help, they will keep on receiving and wastefully they will spend. Once one brother brother was asking me, 42:46 my parents are asking for money. I give them money, but he is giving to my brother who is not at all born again. Yeah, he's able he's able to identify that that particular brother is not 43:05 working and earning money, but he receives the money he is giving to the parents and living on that. Sometimes my mother knows that I'm earning much, so keeps on asking for money and with that money she wastefully 43:25 spends and buys unnecessary things. So, he asked me what should I do? You assess approximately how much money she needs for to meet her essential 43:41 needs and give that amount. And after receiving that money, if she denies certain essential things and saves that money and gives to somebody, you need not be bothered about it. Yeah, if she 44:05 spends lavishly, how much she spends, you assess it and reduce that. At the same time Sometimes they may be distant relatives, but they are helpless, physically 44:23 challenged, or orphan, nobody to take care. We have to help such people. According to the ability we have, time we have, money we have, even to unbelievers who are not at all related, 44:40 nothing wrong in helping them. In the morning we also we heard that Jesus went went about doing good. At the same time when we don't have wisdom in helping Yeah, [clears throat] when they receive 45:02 money and spend it wrongfully, we should stop. This my answer. How should a Christian family biblically respond to a husband and father who was once loving and respected, but has become verbally harsh, controlling, and 45:21 unrepentant, while still being regarded as a spiritual in the church? Husband and father Sometime back he was a good person. But now he is using harsh words and 45:47 controls. He's not repentant. But those who are in the church, they still regard him as a spiritual person. >> You can pray and after much prayer, you 46:11 can point to point out to them what are the things they are doing wrong. They don't listen to that. Without a spirit of accusation You pray for some time and without making sure that you don't have the 46:30 accusing spirit or complaining spirit. You can approach a matured elder 46:49 brother in the church and through him you can ask him as them you can talk to them and ask them for advice and ask them to talk to your husband or parent. This is what I feel you should do. How can I help a younger brother who is 47:05 unknowingly forming friendships or fellowship with the CFC visitors, unconverted brothers or backslidden brothers? It is not good to have close association with those who are 47:24 backslidden. Because helping a backslidden person is like you are going to help somebody who is drowning in the water. When you are trying to help a person who 47:47 is sinking, he will pull you down. He will also pull you down. We read in 1 Corinthians chapter 15 and 33. Bad company corrupts good morals. Yeah. So, 48:10 we'll read Hebrews chapter 3 12 and 13. Okay, if CFC visitors are 48:36 unconverted church and they are unconverted people, how to move with them? It is like 48:52 tug-of-war. Which side is going? When you are moving with the visitors 49:16 and through that they are getting enlightened and there's a change in their lives, then nothing wrong in moving with such people. Because of that association, if this 49:35 young brother's spiritual life is also getting spoiled slowly, then better not to Wisdom through her children is accepted as whether it is righteous or 49:55 not. So in the brother when they are going to follow the way they are going to communicate and all those things and all those things we should not stop them and all those things. We should not So we should not stop somebody. You should not move with 50:07 the visitor. You should not move with unconverted people. We should not tell like that. But let them move with them and after that you try to find out what is the fruit in their life. Then you decide. That is the way it will be like that. 50:17 This is what would be a wise thing. I am a sister who has been attending CFC for more than 10 years. There are some sisters older than me with whom I enjoy fellowship but who sometimes give unsolicited advice and expect me to 50:32 follow it. I feel burdened even though my choices are not sinful. How can I deal with such situations and still have fellowship with them? >> [clears throat] 51:24 >> It is written in Romans chapter 14 and 12. Everyone should give an account of himself to God. And then we will go over the things and all those things. And then we will go over the things and all those things. And then we will go over the things and 51:36 all those things. There is no need to listen to all the advices that they are giving. If the advices are not acceptable acceptable to you, you may simply ignore and leave it. Uh sorry, sister. In this issue, I don't 52:01 feel free in my spirit. If they continue to insist, you please openly tell to them, "I'm very sorry, sister. I don't feel free in my spirit to follow what you say." You are going to give an account of yourself. You are going to give an 52:17 account of yourself. So, you have to decide which is better for you, which is not good for you. In order to build up fellowship with them with that motive, there is no need to have a a form of fellowship without a real fellowship. No need to obey to what all 52:36 they say. She comes to have fellowship with you, but you don't feel free in your spirit, please avoid it. In in the 53:00 Those who asked this question, they got the answer. >> [laughter] >> The sisters who are the main cause of this question, they are also I feel they are inside. 53:17 There's an answer to them also. Oh, I I have not got light in this area. Yeah, you have to slowly withdraw from that. Oh, I got I didn't know that. I didn't have light on this. Oh, my advisers are burden. Oh, let me pull 53:37 back. Yeah, in that way, your life also will be a blessing. Okay. Where there is a Is it necessary to have fellowship with 54:02 everyone in the church? My answer is why you ask that question? >> [laughter] >> Why you ask whether I should have fellowship with that brother? Is it because you don't like them? 54:20 They are south and you are from north. They are east and you are from west. So you want to avoid fellowship. That means you have to judge yourself. You don't like their sari color or shirt color or pant color or education background any any earthly 54:34 thing. That should not be the case. But we have to love everybody, but we can have fellowship with those who walk in light. First make sure that you are whether you are walking in light. And if the other person is also walking in 54:49 light, you feel free in your spirit to have fellowship with them. So if you have any carnal reasons or worldly reasons or which are not in the Bible as a cause for not having fellowship, we'll have to cleanse ourselves. 55:03 We have to seek fellowship irrespective of their status, education, job or anything any earthly thing. That we have to make sure. And so it is not a must that you should have fellowship with everybody. Provided you are on the 55:19 on God's side. That you are walking in light. Jesus also had very close fellowship with Peter, James and John. But he called them wherever he went, but not all of them. Yeah, but he loved everybody. 55:35 He loved even Judas until the end. Next question. I have a friend who enjoys dressing and behaving like a girl. Including wearing lipstick, earrings, and feminine mannerisms. I want to understand why some people feel this 55:54 way, whether the Bible addresses it, and how can how we can spiritually help them. So, um I don't think we need to understand everything. Um some things which are concealed belongs to God. And Bible uh doesn't much talk about these things, 56:14 but we understand the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah is because men were attracted towards men. We saw We read that in the uh life of Lot Lot's family, no? When the angels came, they thought beautiful men have come and they wanted to have 56:30 sex with them. So, that is an unnatural sex which God hates. And it is a very uh dirty thing and so we have to be very careful with the such people. So, even normal man and woman, they have a attraction when they see the opposite sex, but they 56:49 have control. The same way, those people also have to exercise control. Just because I have a feminine mannerisms, feminine tendencies, that doesn't justify committing sin with another human being. So, as young people, we have to be very, 57:04 very careful about the sins of homosexuality and lesbianism. It is unnatural. God hates it. It's an abomination. And if you come across somebody who has got that tendency, who tries to come very close to you and all, please talk 57:20 to the elders and uh seek their advice. And yeah, they may have very strong sexual desire for the same sex. You You to be very careful. And you need not go into unnecessary things, busy being busybody in others. Why such behaviors? 57:38 I want to study study study. I know one doctor medical doctor, he wanted to study about different drugs, how it is affecting. So, he started taking drugs. Then finally, he is on the deathbed. Addicted and he spoiled his health. 57:53 A doctor who is supposed to treat others is helpless. And the parents, but both teachers and they applied long leave and they were trying to help him. So, being busybody in others matters or other things which are not related to you, let us be aware let us 58:10 avoid it. And you have to protect yourself. And how we can spiritually help them, that leave it to elders. Local elders, you may not have wisdom. It's better to humble ourselves and say, "Lord, I don't have wisdom. I don't have a calling to 58:23 help such people." And leave that matter to the elders if they are in the church. If they are in the other places and all, I don't know whoever is responsible to them take care. And lead them to some godly person. And leave it like that. 58:42 Um being a friend, you have to be very careful. And yeah. Yeah. Such friends who are Sometimes they may be sexually perverse perverts. You have to be very careful um by being a friend to such people. 59:01 I don't say you have to hate. No, no. But you have to protect yourself. First, you are responsible for yourself and then for the others. Friends. So, you have to be very careful that you don't go with him to other places together and avoid very 59:18 close uh relationship. Sleeping together, staying together. Avoid. Be careful. Maintain a distance. What expectation should I have regarding God's will in a particular situation when I open the Bible? >> [clears throat] 59:45 >> It is wrong to expect an answer by suddenly opening and reading some verse. There are some [clears throat] dangers in that. Somebody opened the word of God Bible to find out what is God's will. >> [laughter] 1:00:06 >> He hanged himself and died. Committed suicide. He closed it and opened again. You also do quickly what you want to do. So, it is not a wise thing. In our daily 1:00:32 disciplined Bible reading, God can speak to you. Uh sometimes God may manifest his wisdom through the messages we hear, daily devotions, or through godly advices, 1:00:51 godly brothers advices. God can speak to us. We gave a profile to a brother to somebody and asked him, "You pray about it and tell your opinion." Immediately he said I'm agreeing for it. 1:01:12 Asked him how you came to your conclusion. Whatever profile comes first, that is God's will. That's what I'm in agreement. In the Bible we read an example after the war when he comes, whatever appears 1:01:31 he will sacrifice. And he His own daughter came and It's very critical situation for We should not take such decisions. Yeah, important matters we have to wait 1:01:53 on God, pray, and then decide. When we do certain thing, do we have the peace of God? When we are praying and we are waiting, 1:02:14 during that waiting period the confusion increases or we are losing peace, that means it is not God's will. >> You can leave it. >> And if you do not know what to do, until you receive the message no, you keep on waiting and proceed. 1:02:36 And we [clears throat] should never be in a hurry. And if there is no confusion, you can proceed. Out of fear or the feelings which emotion are you >> Out of feelings or emotions >> or the other or >> Or in hasty things I told you first 1:02:57 profile I want to make sure that it's God's will means he is in a hurry to marry. It is not a very easy matter to find out the will of God. And we should not think that always God 1:03:17 will follow the same methodology or same way methodology or same way to reply to us. Okay. So, we should not expect God's will as immediately we open some page randomly. Okay. What does the anointing of the Holy 1:03:41 Spirit mean? What is the sign of being filled with the Holy Spirit? How do I know if I have lost the Holy Spirit? Anointing of the Holy Spirit See, through the Holy Spirit only we are born again. And in a small measure, the spirit of 1:03:55 God comes into our spirit and our spirit is revived. That is one thing. Jesus we when you read John chapter 20, he breathed on the disciples and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit." But after 40 days, Jesus is telling in 1:04:14 Acts chapter 1, "Tarry in Jerusalem until you be endued with power from on high." There is power. The first one is you are born again. That's not a power. And the spirit of God comes to your spirit, touches it, and enlightens it. You receive life. You are 1:04:31 born again. You are made child of God. But then, in order to be powerful witnesses of God, we need the power from on high. So, there is the anointing of the Holy Spirit. And filling means Yeah, every day Today also brother Zach was 1:04:43 telling, "Every day ask God to fill uh myself with the Holy Spirit." So, we have to get refilled, uh filled again and again with the Holy Spirit. Be filled. It's a commandment of God. So, and what's the sign of being filled 1:04:56 with the Holy Spirit? Yeah. You have a great desire to become holy because it's the Holy Spirit. And you ask God for the assurance. What is the sign that your sins were forgiven? There's no specific sign that your sins were forgiven. You have 1:05:11 got an assurance that all you will get the assurance that God has anointed you with the power of the Holy Spirit. And that's how we can know. And as Pentecostals say, speaking in tongues is the only sign that is not in the 1:05:24 scripture because there are many people who are anointed anointed with the Holy Spirit, but they will not speak in tongues. That is not the Holy Spirit, but ask God for the gifts of the Holy Spirit, nothing in nothing wrong. 1:05:35 And how do I know if I have lost the Holy Spirit? It is like asking, "How do I know that I have gone to the hill?" Why Why should you desire it? So, don't go to that extreme and play. I Let me do this sin and see whether I'm 1:05:51 losing the Holy Spirit. Okay, I I did not lose the Holy Spirit. Let me go further further. No, that area don't concentrate. Always concentrate, come to the center, be on the safer side. Lord, fill me with the Holy Spirit. I don't 1:06:02 want to lose the Holy Spirit. Why do you want to try the sins which will make you to lose the Holy Spirit? No, I don't want to do it do it, Lord. Holy Spirit gives you power to lead a victorious life. Yeah. So, the question how do I 1:06:15 know if I have lost the Holy Spirit? I don't think you need to know uh that. Don't go to that extreme. How do I know that I will not fall into sexual sin? How long I can go? That is all foolish thing. We'll deceive ourselves. 1:06:32 Yeah. See, in Acts chapter 2, the Holy Spirit came upon them. They were all anointed with the Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 2 on the Pentecostal day and tongues of fire came on came upon their head. So, when you are anointed with the Holy 1:06:47 Spirit, the way you speak, there's a change. And the way you see the word of God, the way you see God's presence, everything, there's a change. And mainly you'll control your tongue. Next question. Another uh 1:07:07 >> [clears throat] >> Number 8 of the power of the Holy Spirit and a power of the Holy Spirit >> Also in Hebrews chapter 12 we read no 1:07:57 issue though he searched with the tears he could not see the repentance. That means he has crossed the point of no return. Similarly somewhere some point of no return is there. Why do you want to know where is that point? 1:08:09 So no need to go near that. Suppose you cross it. So no hope. So let us not go to the next thing. You confess us brother said you confess your sins immediately when the Holy Spirit convicts you and repent. And continuously if you are repenting you 1:08:26 are getting convicted you can be sure that Holy Spirit is with you and you are walking in the right way. In a situation how do I know the difference between the voice of the Holy Spirit and my own conscience? Yeah. See first 1:08:42 God speaks to us through our conscience. You have to make sure that our conscience is to trained in the word of God. Conscience is trained the fear of God the spirit of God. We need to have a sensitive conscience. If we make sure 1:08:58 whatever you feel in your conscience that's the Holy Spirit speaking to you. Now spirit, we have this conscience in our heart and God speaks through our Holy Spirit. When we commit a sin, immediately our conscience pricks. 1:09:09 That's the voice of the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is trying to speak to you. But we have to make sure whatever you feel the Holy Spirit is speaking to you is aligned with the word of God. Whether it is falling in line with the 1:09:21 word of God. God will not Our Holy Spirit will not speak something contradict contradictory to the scriptures. He will never speak. Then we have to be very careful. And when you read Hebrews chapter 5, the last few verses, 1:09:36 know what is good, what is bad. Know that comes by practice in the word of God. So, read the word of God, meditate the word of God, spend time with the word of God, apply the word of God, practice the word of God. When you become 1:09:53 experienced in the word of God, then you are able to understand what God speaks to you. That is the wisdom of God. Ephesians chapter 5 and verse 14. Yeah. And also the Holy Spirit speaks means it is the wisdom from heaven. It is first of all 1:10:12 pure, peaceable, gentle, yieldable, and no partiality, no hypocrisy. So, when Holy Spirit speaks something where there is some impurity or a partiality, you will know it is not the Holy Spirit. It is might be your own carnal 1:10:28 uh spirit. And it says in James chapter 3, three types of wisdom. Worldly wisdom, carnal wisdom, devilish wisdom. The worldly wisdom is always it leads to pleasures, sinful pleasures. Then you have to be very careful. Carnal means you can say 1:10:45 selfish. God will not speak to you something to be selfish. No, we should not be self-centered. We have to be very careful. That is carnal wisdom. Devilish wisdom is always rebellion against authority, not submission. That 1:11:00 is these three things are not from the Holy Spirit. But heavenly wisdom, a list of things are there. You can read that. Next question. At times I feel challenged to take the lower place and be humble. Yet I also desire recognition. How can I overcome this 1:11:17 inner struggle? Um This brother has confessed it with honesty. Um We appreciate. 1:11:35 Next question. We see that there's always a desire for recognition. As long as we are in this world, until 1:11:53 the last we have to keep on fighting against it. How can I overcome How to overcome this struggle? Deeply look into Jesus. Looking deeply into the perfect law. 1:12:16 That is Jesus Christ. And how to the extent we go closer to the life of Jesus, to that extent we won't desire the recognition of this world. Greek people are coming to see him. 1:12:43 Okay. The fame and name of Jesus was at peak when the Greeks were seeing him. At the time Jesus was telling something. That's the time when he raised Lazarus 1:13:07 from the dead. Time, he dug this earth and that glory glory of this world that he raised a 1:13:26 dead man, he buried it. He raised Lazarus alive. But the glory which he received because of that, he buried it in the earth. He did not see the Greek. 1:13:54 Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and die. >> [clears throat] >> The extent we go down. That extent we can see Jesus. When we have seen Jesus, all the 1:14:13 recognitions of this world will be done. In this struggle, the only deliverance is looking into Jesus. A husband What should What should a wife do if she 1:14:45 disagrees with her husband on a decision. But when she shares her opinion, he feels she's not being submissive. Is it better to quietly submit in everything for the sake of peace at home or to speak the truth to her husband? 1:14:59 >> [clears throat] >> Disagreements may come in the family. Okay, husband Husband should be first and then whatever culture you belong to, Indians second or Tamilians or Kannadigas or whatever culture you 1:15:19 belong to, that should come second. First we are Christians. The Bible doesn't say that. We have Bible culture. Yeah. Can a truly born-again person fool around with women? Can such a person be 1:15:38 considered for marriage? We cannot say that such person is a born-again person who fools with women. women I [clears throat] don't know what type of person he is. I don't know whether he is a born-again 1:16:00 person and after that born-again experience he got backslidden. So, can such a person be considered for marriage? We should not consider somebody who is 1:16:27 fooling around with women for marriage. Yeah. Suppose a person in his life previous to salvation, if he had been in sinful condition, now he has repented and he has uh is become all right. A member of the 1:16:47 church means his case is different. >> [laughter] >> So, the person who is mentioned here, please take note that he doesn't want to marry you. And >> [laughter] >> Yeah. He's not considering you for marriage. 1:17:08 The only choice is you can repent. Every sinner has a past, every saint has a Every sinner has a future, every saint has a past. So, today is the day of repentance. You can repent and you'll have a glorious future ahead. 1:17:27 Yeah. I was greatly blessed or attracting or seeking the attention of a particular woman. And whenever you talk to a woman, be careful that you don't talk to her when she's alone. Be with one of your colleagues when you 1:17:40 go and talk. Or let her be with her colleague when you talk. So, it's better to have this fence for us for our safety. Yeah, how should I as a woman deal with unbelievers in the office? Same question. And the answer is given. 1:17:59 How should my relation Yeah. How should my relationship be with people who have left CFC for personal reasons? Yeah. See their spirit whether they talk against subtly they come and talk against CFC elders or CFC church. You have to be very careful. And 1:18:18 personal reasons I do not know what reasons, but if they are uh having the fear of God and if they don't have any, you have to find out whether they are offended. Even a small way they are offended with the CFC church means that spirit is there 1:18:33 which will defile you. So, if that if that is there, better you have to be careful. If it is not there, they are very clear for some personal reason because they go for job reason, some other reason they leave CFC. Nothing wrong to talk to them. 1:18:50 Comment. When they make some comments about the church or the elders or about the truth we believe and all, we have to be very careful. And you have to protect yourself. See their spirit. Yeah, discern their 1:19:09 spirit. Last two questions. How do I know if I'm fully born again? What are the signs that I'm born again? >> [clears throat and cough] >> Every tree is known by its fruit. When people went to John, he said, "Give 1:19:29 fruits unto repentance."
