[Music] 0:54 Lord, I lift your name on high. I lift your name in my heart. >> Lord, I love to sing your praises. >> I love to sing your praise. >> I'm so glad you're in my life. >> I'm so glad you're in my life. 1:12 >> I'm so glad you came to save us. >> You came from heaven to earth to show the way. From the earth to the cross. my debt to pay. From the cross to the 1:32 grave, from the grave to the sky. Lord, I lift your name on high. You came from heaven to earth to show the way. From the earth to the cross, my 1:51 debt to pay. From the cross to the grave. From the grave to the sky. Lord, I lift your name on high. >> Lord, I lift your name on high. 2:12 The words that we just sang, the chorus, you came from heaven to earth to show the way. From the earth to the cross and from the cross to the grave and from the grave to the sky. It's words that that don't make sense to a lot of people. 2:25 They can't they can't they can't find a relation between the meekness and the majesty of God. In John chapter 13, Jesus, it says that Jesus was sitting at the head of the table and then he took out his took off his outer garment and 2:39 then washed the feet of his disciples. Something that the lowest of slaves would do. And then it says he took his place again and said, "I am your lord and your master." this meekness and majesty. Many people turn away from Christ because they're 2:52 like, "We can't reconcile the majesty of God and the humility of this man, Christ Jesus." But our eyes have been open to it. The mystery has been revealed to us. We one day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess. But we can bow and 3:07 confess today the meekness and majesty of our savior, of our God. And we can sing his praises knowing who he is and who we've come to know. So let's do that. Even as we think about the meekness and majesty, the manhood and 3:20 deity of Christ, let us, those of us, his children, the ones that he's redeemed, whose eyes have been open, we no longer walk in darkness. We're in in the light now and we see him. We were once blind, but now we can see our 3:34 savior as he is. So, let's praise him. Meekness and majesty, manhood and deity in perfect harmony. 3:52 Man who is God, Lord of eternity, dwells in humanity, kneels in humility, and he washes our feet. 4:11 Oh, what a mystery. sweetness and majesty. Bow down and worship for this is your God. 4:29 [Applause] This is your God. Father's pure radiance. Perfect in innocence 4:47 yet learns obedience. Death on a cross. Suffering to give us life. Conquering through sacrifice 5:01 and as they crucify praise father for him. Oh, what a mystery, we majesty. Bow down and worship. 5:22 For this is your God. This is your God. [Music] Wisdom unsearchable. 5:40 God the invisible. God instructable frailty appears. Lord of infinity to big so tenderly 5:58 lifts our humanity to the heights of his throne. Oh, what a mystery, weakness, and majesty. [Music] 6:14 Bow down and worship. For this is your God. [Music] This is your God. [Music] 6:34 Thank you, Lord Jesus, that you stoop so tenderly, Lord. Even though you're seated on heaven's throne, Lord, yet you seek to be enthroned on our praises, Lord. Thank you, Lord Jesus. From eternity to eternity, you were victorious, Lord, but you stepped down 6:49 in human flesh, Lord, and you bore our sins upon yourself, Lord. You walked every day and were a perfect forerunner and example for us. Help us Lord even here Lord as your spirit is here with us in this meeting Lord to to marvel Lord at the meekness and 7:05 majesty and and seek to walk in your footsteps Lord to look for ways in which you humble yourself Lord and that we we ourselves might humble ourselves to walk in humility to be servants Lord you said after you washed your disciples feet 7:17 that we ought to also do so Lord may it so be Lord Jesus in each of our lives each brother sister and child here Lord that we would seek to be servants Lord of the of the lowest kind, Lord Jesus, just like you were. And Lord, to seek 7:31 your example, Lord, every day in Jesus name. And because he humbled himself to the death, even the death on the cross, God gave him the name that is above every other name that every knee one day will bow and every tongue shall confess. 7:47 But we can confess this day that Jesus is a name above all names. Let's sing. [Music] You were despised. You were rejected, Lord. Those who passed by, 8:05 even a burden their gaze from the sight. Such was the suffering you bore for us. And like a lamb, a lamb to the 8:21 slaughter, you spoke not a word, chose to be silent, though you did no wrong, nor was deceitfulness found in you. 8:38 Yet by your wounds, our salvation has come. And by your suffering, our freedom is one. For God has highly exalted your name. 8:58 He has you on high. Jesus the name of all God exalted your name. 9:18 He has to ad [Music] Jesus the name of our Lord. And like a lamb, a lamb to the 9:34 slaughter, you spoke not a word, chose to be silent, though you did no wrong. for was deceitfulness found in you. 9:51 And by your wounds our salvation has come. Yet by your suffering our freedom is one. For God has highly exalted your name. 10:11 He has enthroned you on high Jesus the name along [Music] is your name 10:30 [Music] you Jesus the name of the Lord Let's [Music] sing that chorus again. For God has just the voices. Let every tongue in this 10:48 room and those listening exalt that name above all names. For God has highly exalted your name. He has enthroned you on high. [Applause] 11:07 Jesus the name above all names. God has highly exalted your name. [Music] He has enthroned you on high. 11:26 [Applause] Jesus the name above all. [Music] [Music] 11:42 Speak, oh Lord, as we come to you to receive the food of your holy word. 11:58 Take your truth, plant it deep in us, shape and fashion us in your life 12:12 that the light of Christ might be seen today. We are active in our deeds of faith. 12:29 Speak, oh Lord, and fulfill in us all your purposes for your glory. [Music] 12:45 Teach us Lord for obedience, holy reance, true humility. [Music] Test our thoughts and our 13:05 attitudes in the radiance of your pureity. Cause our faith to rise. Cause our eyes to see your majesty 13:24 love and glory to you. Words of power that can never fail. Let the truth prevail over unbelief. Sweet 13:48 Lord and renew our minds. Help us grasp the heights of your plans for us. Truth unchanged 14:03 from the dawn of time that will echo down through eternity. [Applause] And by grace will share on your promises 14:22 and by faith will walk as you walk with us. Speak, oh Lord, till your church is filled and the earth is filled with your 14:41 glory. And by grace will walk as you walk promises and by faith will walk as you walk with us. 14:59 Speak, oh Lord, till your church is built and the earth is filled with your glory. [Music] >> In Luke 18, after the the parable of the 15:17 persistent widow, Jesus said, "When the son of man comes, will he find faith on the earth?" And I was thinking this morning as Jesus looks into each of our faces, into each of our eyes, does he find faith? Jesus marveled at two 15:32 things. He marveled at faith from centurion, but he also marveled at unbelief in his hometown. What what what does he see this morning when he looks into my eyes? When he looks into each of our eyes, even us children, does he find faith? Has the 15:48 week gone by been been too heavy or the trials been too heavy for you to have faith this morning even as we sang that song saying Lord speak to us we come in faith the sins the addictions that have been weighing you down that you fought and 16:02 lost fought and lost have they been too heavy you come to a place where you want to give up is there something that we fear something that's coming up maybe a doctor's report or that we received or we're about to receive 16:17 a sickness that we haven't been able to shake off. Has it has it brought your faith down? Has it caused you to to not have faith in the Lord? Does the Lord see unbelief this morning? We can take a moment to to look to him and say, "Lord, 16:30 help my unbelief. This is where I am, Lord. This is this is how I find myself this morning. But I want to have faith, Lord, when you look into my eyes." When the Lord looks through each of us in this room, Lord, may you find faith. May 16:44 you find faith, Lord, when you look into my eyes this morning. Help us, Lord, those of us who are struggling, those of us who are weighed down, even as children, Lord, with the with the anxieties that we have, Lord, with the things that we have to face in 16:57 the weeks and the months ahead, Lord, that cause us to cause us to be afraid, Lord. Things that scare us in our dreams, Lord. Things that sins that have weighed us down for many years, Lord. But this morning, we want to have faith, 17:10 Lord, that you have a word for us, Lord. that your grace is sufficient, Lord, by grace we'll stand on your promises, Lord, as we sang. May it so be, Lord. May May there not be one person, Lord, or child who walks away today, Lord, 17:22 with unbelief. And may you marvel, Lord Jesus, at each of our faiths, Lord, this morning. And Lord, you have a word for each of us, and we're eager to hear that, Lord. Let's sing this song. My faith looks up to thee, thou lamb of 17:36 Calvary. May it be true words that we sing this morning. My faith looks up to thee. Thou lamb of Calary, save 17:56 your divine. Now hear me while I pray. Take all my guilt away. 18:12 Oh, let me from this be [Music] thy rich grace, strength to my fainting 18:35 heart, my healing spire. as thou has died for me. Oh, may my love to thee 18:54 p your warm and changees me [Applause] fire. Life's dark maze I tread 19:12 and increase around me. Be thou my God in darkness turn today. 19:29 Why sorrow tears away. Oh, let me ever stray from the side. And ends my strength in dream. 19:52 When that scolding stream over me roior [Music] in love, 20:09 fear and distrust removed. Oh, bear me safe above our soul. >> As the deer panteth for the water, so my 20:37 soul longeth after thee. You alone are my heart's desire and I long to worship 20:56 thee. You alone are my strength, my shield. To you alone make my spirit. You alone 21:18 are my heart desire and I long to worship you. [Music] You're my friend and you are my brother 21:36 even though you are a king. I love you more than any other so much more than 21:53 anything. You alone are my strength, my shield. To you alone may my spirit heal. You alone 22:14 are my heart desire and I long to worship thee. I want you more than gold or silver. Only you 22:34 can satisfy. [Music] You alone are the dream, joy giver and the apple of my heart. You alone 22:56 are my strength, my shield. To you alone may my spirit do. You alone 23:11 are my heart desire and I long to worship. You alone are my heart's desire and I long 23:31 to worship thee. [Music]
