0:00 Девочка-пай 0:30 So we were looking at how in the last days there is going to be a lot of deception. 0:55 In the last 51 years that I have been a believer, I have discovered that a lot of things that many preachers preach are not according to Scripture. And so many believers believe it because they don't know the Scriptures. 1:26 I can give you so many examples. But I will give you one. How many of you know that in the New Testament, there is not a single command to believers to pay their tithe? 1:47 The new covenant was established on the day of Pentecost. The only time Jesus spoke about the tithe was in Matthew 23 when he was talking about the Pharisees and told them what to do. 2:19 We are not Pharisees, we are not under the Old Testament. But after the day of Pentecost, there is not a single commandment in the New Testament to pay the tithe. 2:40 The New Testament says we must give and give cheerfully. And if you can give cheerfully only 1%, That's all that God wants. And if you can give cheerfully only 0%, God doesn't want anything. 3:01 Now, even though that is true, How is it that 99% of pastors are preaching the tithe? Because they know that these lacks of believers don't read the Bible. 3:29 So they can deceive them. And they can take their money and fill their pockets. Okay, let me tell you another thing related to money. Can you show me one place in the Bible where Jesus took a collection before he preached the sermon? 3:59 Or, took a collection before he conducted a healing meeting? Or after a healing meeting? Or, can you show me one apostle who took a collection before or after a preaching meeting or healing meeting? 4:26 Never. Never. Then how is it today, in every Christian meeting, there is a collection? From, doesn't matter whether they are believers, unbelievers, anything. There are people who go around with the receipt books to collect money for Christian work. 4:49 Did Jesus tell his disciples, go with the receipt books and collect money from people? Where did all this come from? The traditions of men, not in the word of God. 5:14 Let me show you a verse in the third epistle of John. And verse 7. In the third epistle of John, verse 7. It says, these servants of God went out for the sake of the name of Jesus, but receiving nothing, accepting nothing from the non-Christians. 5:40 You know, that is how the early apostles served God. They would not take one paisa from a non-Christian. 6:01 And I tell you, 90% of nominal Christians are not born again. Not only here, anywhere. You cannot take one paisa from them for God's work. 6:21 You know, sometimes, some of these nominal Christians have sent money by money order to our church. And when I happen to know that they are not born again, I say, thank you very much, but we are sorry. We cannot accept this from those who are not born again, and we return it. 6:46 God wants your heart first, and not your money. But so many preachers are going around saying, God wants your money first. He is not bothered about your heart. God is not a beggar. But so many preachers have reduced God to a beggar. 7:10 And there are so many lacks of Christians who blindly follow that. That is only one area of deception. Let me show you another area. In Matthew chapter 7. 7:32 Jesus said. After speaking the Sermon on the Mount. And if you read Matthew 5, 6, and 7, you know it's a very high standard. Let me tell you something which you probably never heard. 8:00 Moses went up to the mountain and brought the Ten Commandments down for Israel to follow. And till today, the Jewish people respect those Ten Commandments. Jesus went up to the mountain. 8:21 And gave the Sermon on the Mount. Matthew 5, 6, and 7. But not even one percent of Christians respect that. You read the Sermon on the Mount. It is to replace the Ten Commandments. 8:46 In which way? If the Ten Commandments told you to walk, our Sermon on the Mount is telling you to fly. Much higher standard. If the law was 10 meters high, this is 1,000 meters high. 9:13 The law said, don't commit murder. Jesus said, don't get angry. Jesus said, the law said, don't commit adultery. I say, don't lust after women. The law said, when your hand is on some holy book and you're taking a vow and call, don't tell a lie. 9:37 Jesus said, always speak the truth. No need of vow or anything. The law said, love your neighbor. Jesus said, love your enemies also. 10:02 What a high standard. He was raising the standard, raising the standard. Now today, many Christians think they're very holy when they keep the Ten Commandments. Then you're a good Jew. Not Christian. You're a good follower of Moses, not of Jesus Christ. 10:28 These are the areas where there's tremendous amount of deception in Christianity today. And when that happens, when people follow the Old Testament law, which spoke about tithing and Ten Commandments, don't follow the New Testament, which says, give cheerfully and follow the standards of the Sermon on the Mount. 10:50 What will happen is, all these so-called believers will become religious. Religious Christians. Not disciples of Jesus Christ. 11:10 People who follow the traditions of men more than the Word of God. And at the end of the Sermon on the Mount, listen to this. Jesus said, verse 14, this gate is very small and this way 11:31 is very narrow. And very few will find this way. What was he talking about? He was talking about what he had spoken in the last three chapters. This is what I've spoken to you about, not getting angry and not lusting after women. 11:56 And loving your enemies. And when you pray, don't tell anybody about it. When you fast, don't tell anybody about it. That, by the way, is one of the most dissipate commandments, particularly in Pentecostal churches. 12:21 They will always tell you about their fasting. Do you know there's only one commandment Jesus gave about fasting? Only one. He never told you how often you should fast. He never told you how long you should fast. One day, three days, forty days, 12:41 He never said. How many times in a year, never said. But He gave only one commandment. When you fast, don't tell anybody. That is the commandment most Christians disobey. They advertise to everybody. 13:04 I fasted. Oh, when I fasted, God told me this. They have absolutely no respect for the Word of God. That is why Jesus said, this gate is very small. This way is very narrow. Many will talk about it, 13:25 but few will find it. I have discovered that. Very few believers have found this way, this narrow gate and narrow way described in the Sermon on the Mount. And according to this verse, 13:47 that is the only way to life. And then He said, but, beware of the false prophets. False prophets are the people who say, the way is not so narrow. 14:10 There is nothing wrong in taking a collection from unbelievers also. I remember one Pentecostal church I preached in. The pastor loved me very much. He told me after the meetings, he said, Brother Zach, I agree with everything you say. 14:33 Except one thing. Why do you preach so much against tithing? As it is, these people give so little. After hearing you, they will give nothing. I said, I have preached the same message in my church for 30 years. 35 years, 14:58 we have never taken an offering in our church. And not only in Bangalore, Chennai, many other churches in Tamil Nadu, never taken a collection once in any meeting for 35 years. And all 40, 50 churches. 15:20 But, we conduct about 20 conferences a year. No collection in the conference also. We never sent a report of our work or photograph anywhere for 35 years. Because, most of these 15:42 so-called prayer letters are only begging letters for money. It's a disgrace to Jesus Christ. If Jesus had a need, He would tell His Father in heaven. 16:03 This is where Christianity has gone astray. Because Jesus said there are only two gods, the true God and money. And you cannot serve both. You must stop serving this Baal and start serving the true God. in the Old Testament 16:23 Elijah said, Jehovah or Baal? Baal's name today is Mammon. That is Baal's name today. And today's Elijah's will say, you either serve Christ 16:43 or Mammon, you can't serve both. and I tell you in my lifetime, I have found very few preachers and pastors who serve only Christ and are not interested in money at all. who never talk about money. 17:10 Look at Jesus. Look at Paul. Never once did they say, please support me. I'm doing a good work for God. here is a report of all the work I'm doing. Please support it. Where do you see that 17:30 in the New Testament? Nowhere. So how do people do it today? The traditions of men which make people religious. You know what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ? That means you learn from Jesus' example and say, Lord, 17:50 I will do it exactly like you do. But you say, brother, that is a very difficult way. That is a very narrow gate. It is a very narrow way. We won't get many people that way. Jesus said that. 18:12 Very few will find it. So many people want large numbers and so they broaden the gate and the way. And they do what Jesus said to the Pharisees. Matthew chapter 7, 18:32 Mark chapter 7, Mark, Mark, Mark, verse 8. Neglecting the commandment of God, you hold to the tradition of men. That is step one. You hold to the tradition of men and you neglect God's commandment. 18:56 then you go one step to keep your tradition you set aside the commandment of God and then a third step to the bottom of the pit verse 13 where you keep 19:16 your tradition and cancel and cancel and cancel the word of God. So first, you neglect verse 8 the commandment of God. Then you go one step lower and set aside the commandment of God. And thirdly, you go to the bottom of the pit 19:36 and cancel the word of God all together by holding on to tradition. This is what Jesus fought against all the time. Why do you think they killed Jesus? Do you think they killed Jesus because he said you must love your enemies? 19:58 Do you think they killed him because he was washing disciples' feet? No. They killed him because he exposed their false traditions. And it's the same today. If you expose the false traditions of Christendom, you will be killed. 20:24 Not with swords but with their tongue. So people don't want anybody to say bad about them with their tongue. So they they don't want anybody to speak bad about them. So they say okay we won't say 20:45 anything against that tradition. We'll keep quiet. They are not disciples of Jesus. They are just religious people. They go to some church and don't disturb any of the traditions. even though they see this is not according to 21:04 scripture. They say brother don't rock the boat. Just let it go. Even if it's going the wrong direction doesn't matter. Don't rock the boat. You better be careful brother 21:25 where you're going to end up following this sitting in this boat. and then Jesus said verse 21 here is the mark of a religious person and a disciple of Jesus. Religious people will say Lord Lord verse 21 21:46 Matthew 7 21 religious people say Lord Lord but disciples will do the will of the father in heaven. In this verse you see a clear distinction between 22:07 religious Christians and spiritual Christians. those who are true disciples of Jesus that means they learn from Jesus and follow him. They do the will of the father. 22:29 And they don't just say Lord Lord. Whereas the religious Christians say Lord Lord but they don't do the will of the father. They don't even know the will of the father because they don't study the Bible. 22:51 You know why I study the Bible? God is my witness. I do not study the Bible to prepare clever sermons. When I in my younger days yes I studied the Bible to prepare clever sermons. 23:14 But like Paul says when I was a child I spoke like a child. I behaved like a child. When I was also a baby I didn't know how to speak properly. Spiritually also when I was a child I did not know how to preach or 23:34 anything. But when I grew up and put away childish things and one of the childish things is to study the Bible to prepare a sermon. Where do you read it says in the Bible you must study the Bible to prepare sermons. 23:57 That is a tradition of man. The Bible says study my word to obey it. How many preachers can say today honestly I study the Bible to obey it. Now if you're a child remain a child. 24:18 But I hope you grow up. Jesus didn't study the Bible to prepare sermons. He knew the Bible when he was 12 years old. But he didn't study the Bible to prepare sermons. 24:39 All those who study the Bible to prepare sermons will not be disciples of Jesus. They will be religious. Then people say how do you preach? How can we preach? We must preach from our life. 25:00 From what we have obeyed. Then you say we won't be able to preach much. That's right. If you're a child you must speak at that level. The Bible says in Romans 12 prophesy according to the proportion of your faith. according 25:24 to the level of your life. If you have studied only up to second standard don't pretend you're a tenth standard teacher. That is what a lot of preachers are doing today. Their own life is in kindergarten 25:44 level. But you listen to their sermons you'll think they're in PhD. Hypocrites preach according to the level of your life. So we study the Bible to do the will of God. 26:07 That's the mark of a disciple. But a religious person is only interested in speaking. See this difference in study Matthew 7 21 very carefully and you will see some amazing things. 26:28 See these two words. One speaks about somebody who says something and then it speaks of somebody who does something. A religious person says a disciple does a religious 26:48 says Lord Lord but a religious disciple does the will of the father. He's not concerned so much about what he's saying. He does and then he speaks what he has done. 27:09 See Acts 1 verse 1. This is a very important verse for a disciple. How did Jesus preach? Here we read how Jesus preached. Acts of the Apostles 1 verse 1. 27:30 Luke is writing to Theophilus. He says the first account which is the Gospel of John. There I told you what Jesus first did and then taught. 27:50 So what was the order in Jesus life? From this one verse he did and he taught. He did not teach what he did not do. that is the disciple Jesus was a disciple 28:11 of his father on earth. He learned from his father did and then taught. He learned he did he taught and that is why the father took him through every temptation that we have to go through and 28:34 he overcame those temptations to sin in the power of the Holy Spirit and he did the father's will and then he taught that is what a disciple also does he sits at 28:54 the feet of Jesus like Mary not like Martha who has no time to sit at the Lord's feet just doing something for the Lord all the time 99% of Christians are like Martha and they 29:15 satisfy their conscience I'm doing something for the Lord I'm cooking rice and curry for the Lord I'm sacrificing so much I'm spending my money sweating doing doing something for the Lord I have no time to 29:35 sit at the Lord's feet and listen like Mary because I'm busy serving the Lord and they come and stand before the Lord final day for their reward like Martha and the Lord will say he'll put your name there you 29:55 you tried to do so many things for me I was not interested in any of those things you wasted your life because you said Lord Lord you never sat at my feet to ask me what I wanted you to do that's 30:22 that's not a disciple the disciple is one who does the will of God you know 1 Corinthians chapter 4 verse 2 there is a paraphrase in the English language called the living Bible and 30:43 it's a very good paraphrase and I was reading this verse in the living Bible very beautifully 1 Corinthians 4 verse 2 this is how it says the most important thing about a 31:03 servant most important thing is that he does just what his master tells him to do the most important thing about a servant is he does what his master tells him to do 31:23 supposing you hire a servant in your house maybe some lady comes to work in your house and she does not ask you what should I do no she 31:43 has no time for that she just starts cleaning the house or doing this or going to this room that room tidying up things all all all good things spends six hours does not ask you once what 32:03 you should do maybe you want her to cook but she has no time for that she is doing something for your house will you keep her even for more than one day I 32:25 don't think so she says if you tell her listen I tell you what to do no no no I have no time I have to do some work in the house how many days will you keep that servant I don't think you'll keep her even for 32:45 five minutes how long do you think the Lord will keep a servant who has no time to listen to him who is going around preaching giving out tracts going here going there going North India all over the place you 33:07 are not the servant of the Lord you are a servant of yourself opposing you go and get a job in some office here any office they gave you appointment order and you go there the first day and you don't ask anybody what you're 33:27 supposed to do you just look around and you do whatever you like and sit at some table and do what you like and the boss says come here I'll tell you what to do what your job description is no no 33:47 no I'm very busy working here in the office they will not keep you even for five minutes in that office you think you're serving the Lord that's what the Lord told Martha you're worried about so many things and 34:09 I tell you many people when they stand before the Lord in the final day the Lord will ask them did you have a Bible did you read Luke chapter 10 did you read the last verse that 34:29 only one thing is needful to sit at my feet and listen like Mary did you read what I told Martha what did you do in your life you had no time to sit and listen at my feet you 34:51 sat many hours at the feet of these useless television preachers no time to sit with my word and see what I have to tell you you got an opportunity to serve here opportunity to serve there opportunity to serve there you 35:09 did all that thinking you were serving me you were exactly like Martha and if you had only read Luke chapter 10 verse 42 you would have understood but you 35:29 had no time for that because you were too busy watching Christian television and when you were not watching Christian television you were busy running around here and there doing whatever you felt you should do for me after 35:53 I left the Navy for nine years I was like Martha I had no time to sit at the Lord's feet need was so great there were about 600 million people in India oh you got to save them you got to do this you 36:13 got to do that till the Lord stopped me and said one thing is needful the Lord had told me that 50 years earlier but I got into the rut of Christian work and I became a back slider 36:33 I thanked God the Lord stopped me and told me to sit at his feet and listen and do only what he tells me to do so many people around me gave me suggestion brother Zach miracles he can cast out demons he must be a spiritual man wrong listen to this Matthew 7 verse 21 not everyone who says to me 44:30 Lord Lord will enter God's kingdom but he who does the will of my father but many will come to me in the last day of judgment in the day of judgment and what will they say 44:50 Lord Lord that's the right language this is a continuation of the previous verse Lord Lord like Martha we served you we preached in your name 45:11 in many places I neglected my family and my work and convenience and went here and there and there and there preached in your name not only that Lord I I I I had spiritual power to cast 45:31 out demons in Jesus name and not only that Lord I did miracles in your name and the Lord will say yeah you did all that but I never knew I never had a personal relationship with you 45:53 get away from me go to hell because of one thing verse 23 there was sin in your life so what is going to be important in the day you stand before God that 46:15 you preached you served you cast out demons you did miracles not one or two many miracles it says here you can still go to hell what is there sin in your life that's the thing now 46:37 on stand before the Lord and that is why I say it's very easy for you to be religious and not a disciple of Jesus Christ and some of you who are in Christian work I've been in 48:20 Christian work now for 44 years I've tried my best to understand how Jesus and Paul did Christian work because I know that is my example I've 48:41 not tried to follow today's preachers many of them are following traditions so many of you may if you are in Christian work or you're a pastor or leader of God's people you may ask 49:01 yourself okay if I'm a disciple of Jesus God's called me to serve him full time how will I take care of my earthly needs how will I take care of my family I'll tell you you know 49:22 the well-known verse that is also in the Sermon on the Mount that is also Matthew 6 33 seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all your earthly needs will be added to you you 49:44 don't have to tell anybody your earthly needs I'm talking especially to those who are in Christian work and I'm telling you from 44 years of experience I've never sent a report of my work or a photograph of my work anywhere 50:03 in these 44 years I refuse to receive money from unbelievers I refuse to receive money listen carefully from anybody whose standard of living is lower than mine because 50:25 I don't believe Jesus would have done it then how will God provide your need he's not going to drop money from heaven God can move people to help you financially 50:46 without your telling them without you're asking anybody without you're sending a report without you're talking about money to your congregation talk 51:06 about holiness that's how Jesus was supported never once did he tell his need to anybody he was happy with whatever circumstance God gave him but 51:26 there was so much money in Judas Iscariot's bag that was not money given to Judas it was given to Jesus how did that come did Jesus send reports did Jesus tell everybody support me because I'm serving the father but 51:48 he had to support 13 people who were in full time work including himself some of them like Peter had families whom they had to send money to he had given up his fishing for God's work would 52:09 Jesus forsake them would Peter's family have to starve because he's serving the Lord no not one day they would starve and your family will not starve either if you honor God and follow Jesus way but 52:31 not by begging from people not going to rich people's houses and expecting them to give you money not going and speaking in rich churches so that you can get money from and one day you go to some person can you please give me some money because I have some need even if you give hundred rupees 53:55 that is enough and he says you are Mukesh Ambani's son and you are coming and asking me for money what happened you must have had a fight with your father right your father 54:17 has thrown you out that is why you are in this state wouldn't you say that okay now take another picture your father is not the richest person in India but the richest person in the universe who is 54:39 million times more richer than Mukesh Ambani Almighty God you say that is your father
